Austen Kroll may have dumped ex-girlfriend, Audrey Pratt, but he seemingly still cares about her feelings. This week, the Southern Charm star opened up about moving on from his relationship and revealed what would be the “ultimate slap in the face” to Audrey.
Austen Kroll was reluctant to move on with Southern Charm’s Salley Carson
In this week’s episode of Southern Charm, Austen unpacked his split from Audrey while holidaying with his castmates in Mexico. Speaking in a confessional about Salley Carson’s advances, he said: “I have no intention of doing anything with Salley.”
Yet, Austen admitted that it was “kind of endearing” to have Salley “hit” on him and “lay it on thick.”
Since Austen shared that he and Audrey had split during last week’s episode on Itchy Grass Farm, Salley made her intentions very clear. Moving on from her Craig Conover crush, Salley revealed to her fellow Southern Charmers that she has the hots for Austen.
But that feeling appears to be one-sided. Back in Mexico, Austen chatted to Craig about the situation, which he said was impacting him emotionally. “[It] does weigh on me a little bit that Audrey didn’t like Salley,” Austen admitted. “Because Salley was so overly aggressive, telling people whatever she felt about me.”
He continued: “Talk about the ultimate slap in the face of a break-up. To go and, like, do something with the one person.” In response, Craig cryptically said, “You only do it once.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Salley justified her pursuit of Austen so soon after his split from Audrey. “All I’ve ever heard in this friend group is talking about how they’re not for each other,” she said. “I was told she would be, like, nonchalant and totally fine if they broke up.”
