Andy Cohen Says Real Housewives Of Dallas Wouldn’t Have Lasted If It Wasn’t For LeeAnne Locken

By now, Real Housewives of Dallas fans know that LeeAnne Locken will not be on the show for Season 5. That really isn’t much of a surpise considering the way Season 4 ended. It was basically LeeAnne vs. everyone, including Andy Cohen, at the reunion. And for good reason too.

LeeAnne was under fire for making racially insensitive comments about Kary Brittingham, during multiple episodes. It just did not seem at all likely that LeeAnne could return to the show. Not in 2020, that’s for sure. Nevertheless, we can’t ignore that pretty much every (interesting) storyline was driven by LeeAnne. They really need to step things up when it comes to casting RHOD Season 5.

Andy dished on LeeAnne’s exit from the show during a recent episode of Radio Andy. People reported that Andy kept it positive, which is surprising given his strong stance on LeeAnne’s recent scandal.

Andy admitted,”I don’t think that Dallas would still be going if it weren’t for her contribution to the series. She has been an incredibly strong part of the show.” Ain’t that the truth?

Andy described LeeAnne as “a driving character — driving a lot of drama and humor and heart.” Andy added, “I want to salute her for that because she has made a significant and important contribution to that show.” She was that show.

Andy also acknowledged, “On a personal note to her, I wish that our last go-around on the air hadn’t been so contentious. I’m hoping that once the breeze has blown through she will come back and join me for a KiKi at some point on Watch What Happens Live.”

Andy said he was “optimistic” about the future success of the show. I respectfully disagree. I am worried, Andy. I totally get LeeAnne’s departure from the show. I mean, she had to go, but I’m concerned about who we are left with. I really can’t go a whole season hearing about D’Andra Simmons‘ struggling company and Kary’s fledgling jewelry line. They really need to shake up this cast for Season 5.

And, then there’s the elephant in the room: Brandi Redmond. Will she still be a full-time cast member after that video resurfaced of Brandi mocking Asians. Maybe that trip to rehab saved Brandi’s spot on the show. I have no idea how rehab could have helped that whole situation, but I’m assuming we’ll hear more about this, possibly on Season 5.

Andy claimed, ” I think in terms of the future of the show, we’ve got spectacular casting and I’m looking forward with great optimism and we’ve got a great group of Housewives in Dallas.” I’ll believe it when I see it.

Kim Richards Book Release Delayed By Almost A Year

While I’m interested in reading a book “written by” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Kim Richards, I can’t help feeling like her sisters Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton are pretty nervous about the tea she’s gonna spill. I mean whoever actually wrote this book Kim referred to herself as a “whipping post of a sister” in a press release about the book. I cannot help feeling like that’s a direct dig at Kyle.

The book was supposed to be released on April 28, 2020, but now her sisters her fans will have to wait almost a year to read the book.

According to an article from TMZ, Kim’s book will now be released in February 2021. But, why the delay?

Kim’s ghostwriter Alison Kingsley Baker is suing Kim for refusing to pay her, which is weird since Kim got a $300,000 advance from her publisher. A judge ordered Kim to pay the ghostwriter $5,075.

Apparently, that trial was a hot mess, which really isn’t surprising. At all. Someone who was supposedly in the courtroom told TMZ Kim “began unraveling excuse after excuse as to why she hadn’t paid her ghostwriter despite receiving a $300,000 advance from her publisher.” Oh, Kim. This is taking me back to Kim missing multiple flights for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast trip in Hawaii. It’s tough to picture this woman ever being on time for anything, even writing a book about her own life story.

Aside from not paying the actual author of the book, it’s rumored that Kyle and Kathy are worried about what Kim might share in the book. In previous interviews, Kyle admitted Kim never told her she was writing a book and that she hoped the content would not lead to another family feud.

Cary Deuber Admits She & LeeAnne Locken Got Fired & Didn’t “Leave” Real Housewives Of Dallas On Their Own

Aside from Bethenny Frankel, Lisa Vanderpump, and NeNe Leakes, it’s very tough to believe that anyone actually “walks away” from a Real Housewives show. It’s just such a wide-reaching platform. Who would give up that exposure? Who would give up that paycheck? Why would anyone give up those perks? Oh, that’s right: no one actually would.

Most of the time when a woman leaves Real Housewives, she thanks the fans and the network and promises that she has big ventures ahead. We all know that’s a crock of shit and is not true 99.99% of the time. It’s only accurate if you’re Bethenny or Lisa Vanderpump. This week, we found out LeeAnne Locken is “leaving” Real Housewives of Dallas after four seasons. We all saw this coming after the racially charged scandal that dominated the tail end of Season 4. In her announcement, LeeAnne shared her intent to focus on philanthropy, which is a great thing, of course. Still, it’s very unlikely that LeeAnne is the one who made the decision to exit the show. This is something RHOD alum Cary Deuber knows all too well.

After three seasons as a Housewife, Cary Deuber got replaced by her own friend, also named Kary [Brittingham]. That sure had to sting. Even so, Cary took that highly traveled road and promised us that there are more projects on the way, including some plastic surgery-focused show that never came to fruition, at least not to my knowledge anyway.

During a recent Instagram Live video, Cary answered some questions from her followers while she put on her makeup. She straight-up admitted, “Yeah, LeeAnne’s off RHOD. Fired like me.”

Finally, we hear the truth! But, let’s just be honest. That’s not surprising. Almost no one leaves these shows on their own.

I’m sure that most of the Dallas Housewives are thrilled that LeeAnne is gone. However, without LeeAnne, that means someone else has to be the new “villain” and it might be one of them. Unless there are new cast members next season. Without someone as a “villain,” we will probably yawn all season long.

As of right now, we have no idea if Kary, Stephanie Hollman, Brandi Redmond, D’Andra Simmons, and Kameron Westcott have signed on for Season 5. Brandi had a racially insensitive scandal of her own recently, but Brandi’s offensive video resurfaced after the Season 4 reunion taping, whereas LeeAnne made her remarks during (many episodes of) the show.

Tom Schwartz Says He Didn’t Think Relationship With Katie Maloney Would Last & They “Probably Should’ve Broken Up” At Some Points

Right now, Vanderpump Rules is all about Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s  Kentucky weddinnnnnn. It has become such a focus that it feels like Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney got married a whole lifetime ago, even though it was actually in 2016 and aired in 2017.

Apparently, they forgot some paperwork back in the day, so the marriage wasn’t actually legal. However, they did finally make it offical in Las Vegas last summer. As consuming as Jax and Brittany’s wedding has been this season, the lead in to Schwartz and Katie’s wedding was arguably just painful, but at least it wasn’t as offensive. The drunken fights, cheating accusations, and rage texts did not feel like precursors to marital bliss, yet here we are. These two have been together for over a decade. Wow. I’m sure there are some viewers who are a little surprised by this, but they’re not alone. It turns out that Schwartz is a bit shocked as well.

In a very candid interview with Us Weekly, Tom admitted, “We’ve been through so much and I mean, arguably at so many points in our relationship, you could say, ‘They probably should’ve broken up or gone their separate ways.'” Talk about brutal honesty there.

Still, Tom pointed out, “But we got through it. We were stubborn. We put the work in and now I can say, without a doubt, I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I think we both are.”

In that same interview, Katie remarrked, “This year we’ll have been together for 10 years. That’s a decade. I think there’s something to be said there.” And I’m just gonna go with “no comment” when it comes to that one.

Tom confessed, “There were times early on that I definitely didn’t think it was going to last. I think we both had moments early on like various, but man, I’m just so happy we made it.”

In an interview for the Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show, Danielle shared her trade secret. Danielle declared, “I don’t have to try hard to get attention. I just get it.” Sure, Jan. She’s not going out of her way to gain attention, ever. Cue my eye roll.

Danielle continued, “I was engaged 21 times. It’s no accident. And 19 of those were before I had my children. Why? No one’s ever asked me.” Really? That is the number one question I would ask her.

Danielle explained, “Came from me wanting to punish people that were abusing me, but the way I got them to ask me to marry them quickly is I said I was a virgin and I would not have sex until I was married. That’ll put a ring on your finger real quick.” She only married one of those guys. Does that mean she never had sex with any of those men she got engaged to?

That trick obviously stopped working because, as Danielle noted, [she] “can’t do that once you have kids.”

Danielle attempted to explain, “If [ex-husband] Tom was No. 19 and there were only two more after that and I married one of them, have I really been engaged that many times? No.” I mean, year, if someone proposed and she said yes and kept those rings, then, yes, that constitutes an engagement.

Then Danielle randomly brought up Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, and Melissa Gorga. Danielle remarked, “See? Margaret doesn’t know anything about me. Melissa, Dolores, none of them. I didn’t lose myself for too long because I found myself now. I’m really happy with who I am. I don’t have any reason to want to fit in with people that don’t want me around anyway.”

Real Housewives Of New Jersey Season Finale Recap: Family Reunion

What a wild ride this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been. It’s coming to a close, and it’s going out with a bang. On last week’s episode, Danielle Staub shocked Melissa Gorga and all of us. She revealed that Teresa Giudice was behind the hair pull that rocked Margaret Josephs’ world. The footage they showed was very damaging to Teresa. She looks BAD. How will she talk herself out of this one?

The second part of this episode is set to focus on Teresa reuniting with Joe Giudice in Italy. This marriage is in shambles, but it will be interesting to see them together in person. What will the vibe be? How will they interact with one another? So many questions. Joe has never dealt with this version of his wife before, and this is a very different Teresa. Good luck Joe!

Melissa doesn’t seem shocked at all to learn that Teresa was behind the hair pull. She also doesn’t want Danielle around her sister-in-law. She has a point about one thing. Not about Teresa but about how unacceptable it is to put your hands on someone. Water or no water, it’s so not cool.

Teresa condoning that is actually really surprising to me. I didn’t think she’d put herself in this position. She looks really bad here. Melissa thinks it’s going to be the end of Margaret’s friendship with Teresa if Danielle is telling the truth. It says a lot about Melissa that she’s so willing to bring this up in front of everyone though. She clearly believes it and has no problem exposing Teresa.

I’m glad to see that Bill Aydin is alive and ready to hangout. He was looking a little rough after all the drinking last week. Hopefully, he takes it easy at this party and avoids the alcohol.

We don’t have to wait long for the group to learn what Danielle exposed about Teresa. The second Melissa gets to the party, she gathers everyone to reveal the true origins of the hair pull. Margaret doesn’t believe the boutique owner was behind it. Melissa then reveals Teresa’s alleged role. Everyone looks shocked, but nobody really believes it.

However, things change when Teresa finally responds. She looked so nervous. I have never seen Teresa so visibly shook about something on this show. I don’t think she ever thought this would come out. BOOM.

Margaret is STUNNED to hear Teresa admit that she said something to Danielle. This is so wild. Teresa just stooped to such a low place. Margaret is very upset and calls Teresa sick and an asshole. You can’t blame her for being upset about this. She was physically assaulted in a fairly violent way.

Teresa says she hopes the producers don’t use this, but Melissa assures her they will. The fact that Melissa said that makes this seem so calculated. Why not pull your so called family member to the side to warn them? She allowed Teresa to get totally blindsided. None of that excuses Tre’s actions, but it’s still a dirty move.

Teresa throws a drink at the camera and shoves more drinks off the table. She is BIG MAD. Melissa tells everyone she’s mad at the producers, and she’s right. Teresa is more pissed than ever before.

The way Teresa flipped off the camera was so out of character for the Namaste Teresa. She tells production she’s going home, and she slams the door in the camera’s face. I wonder if we will get any more out of Teresa. This has to be the end of their friendship. Margaret feels so betrayed and is massively confused.

Jennifer Aydin tries to talk to Teresa, but she doesn’t want to be bothered. Of course Dolores Catania thinks that Teresa fully owned it, and she should get a pass. HOW DOES SHE GET A PASS? Dolores takes ride or die to a dangerous level. You can’t let your friends run roughshod to do whatever they want.

Teresa playing the victim is not a good look AT ALL. Dolores says the only way to fix things is to apologize to Margaret and cut all ties with Danielle. Let’s see if she can actually follow through with this. Teresa is upset for letting down Margaret, but I think she’s just mad she got caught. Instead of riding away in her Uber, she decides to speak to Marge after all.

Teresa calls Danielle to confront her about selling her out, but Danielle doesn’t see the issue. She says don’t be mad at her about this, but this feels like the end. Teresa tells her the friendship is over and hangs up the phone. Danielle tries to say she loves Teresa, but she gets cut off. BYE BITCH.

It’s actually really pathetic it took THIS moment to get her to drop Danielle. That’s something that she should have done long ago. Everyone warned her about Danielle’s toxic nature. Margaret was one of the biggest ones championing the decision to drop Danielle.

However, maybe Margaret should have been more worried about Teresa instead of Danielle. What a total blindside to close out the final party of the season. Nobody saw this coming.

Teresa and Margaret meet on the porch, and Teresa is at a loss for words. They both proclaim to be freaked out by this, but it’s major. Teresa doesn’t want Marge to think she’d ever want her to get hurt. I believe that to be true. I really do. That doesn’t change any of the facts though. She still encouraged Danielle to pull her hair. She cosigned this unacceptable behavior.

Teresa seems to be legitimately remorseful, but Margaret is going to need time to think things over. This is a moment that’s going to alter this friendship forever. How do you even come back from this? Also, what a horrible thing to ruin a party. This is an instant buzzkill.

I have just about had it with Dolores defending every little thing Teresa does. Her husband being deported has nothing to do with her letting Danielle attack Margaret. Give me a break.

Dolores‘ boyfriend David Principe moved in with her and Frank Catania. HOW WEIRD IS THAT? My mind immediately wanders to the freaky things that might be going on. Dolo might be more kinky than I ever thought possible.

It looks like the entire second half of the episode will revolve around Joe and Teresa. Teresa is nervous to see Joe after how long they’ve been apart. Neither of them are the same person. At least not Teresa. She has transformed into an entirely new woman than the one Joe left four years ago. He’s in for a surprise.

The family arrives in Italy to reunite with Joe. I’m happy for the girls, but I’m more intrigued by the dynamic between Joe and Teresa. There’s a lot they need to discuss, and she’s harboring a ton of resentment. Teresa’s been a lot more vocal lately about how she feels about Joe. Teresa needs to tell him off face to face and show Joe that she isn’t going to take his s**t anymore.

I would NEVER want to climb that giant ass hill to get to Joe. I don’t care how long it’d been since I saw my father, it’s not happening. Lazy is my middle name, and I’d need to be carried or something. Come visit me down below.

The tears are flowing so hard when the girls are finally reunited with their father. Regardless of how you feel about their parents, this is a beautiful things to witness. It’s about damn time. Let’s hope he can stay on the straight and narrow.

THE FOOD IN ITALY AT JOE’S LOOKS SO GOOD. OH MY GOD. I NEED ALL OF IT. Watching this show on an empty stomach was evidently a bad idea. I want to eat the entire spread. Delicious.

Teresa and Joe have an awkward conversation about where he is staying. Joe was expecting to sleep with Teresa in the hotel, but she’s not about it. She feels like it’s way too weird. It seems as if Teresa does not feel anything for Joe anymore. This isn’t the future she wants for herself. Teresa deserves better than what Joe can offer. Period.

Joe doesn’t seem to understand that Teresa can’t stay longer than she plans. She works and has a life outside of him. There’s zero chance of Teresa ever giving up her life and going to Italy to stay. Goodbye Joe. It’s over.

It’s beyond awkward to watch Joe and Teresa interact. Obviously the marriage is DONEZO. Teresa is extremely cold anytime Joe tries to show her any sort of affection. She’s purely and utterly disgusted by his touch. How does he not understand how through she is with him?

Teresa reveals she hasn’t been happy with Joe in a very long time. This situation made it easier for her to end it. It gave Teresa the perfect out she has probably wanted for quite a while.

Teresa seems concerned that Joe is drinking too much, but he downplays it. They have a lot to discuss before she leaves though. They need to talk about how they feel, and what the future holds. It’s been so long, and it’s likely over. Joe sounds like he’d be down for a weird friends with benefits type situation. There’s zero chance of Teresa being down with that. Do you even know her?

I think Teresa wants him to just say that it should be over, but he isn’t. He wants her to be the one to call it off I think. Joe takes zero accountability for the crimes he committed, and she’s over it. He asks if she wants to end it right there and now, and his lack of responsibility shows her he hasn’t changed. One of the most iconic marriages in Housewives history is over. The end of an era!

Teresa isn’t ready to tell the girls that their marriage is over. That’s good that she doesn’t want to ruin the moment for them. Despite the hair pull incident, Teresa really has grown as a person in a lot of ways. It’s a highly emotional goodbye between Joe and the girls, but at least now they can see him.
