With each passing week, I like Jules Wainstein more and more. I initially thought she’d be boring and vapid and care too much about the veterans’ opinions to voice her own. Sure, she may place a little extra emphasis on how much a stay at home mom needs a nanny, but she’s got a good sense of humor seems to know how to act right…a rare trait in this bunch.
After Bethenny Frankel went off (I mean, was all that vitriol really necessary?) on Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley tearfully showed her loyalty to a birthday cake, and Ramona Singer played the voice of reason (was this the Twilight Zone or Real Housewives of New York?) on this week’s episode, Jules is giving her two cents on that awful girls’ weekend. Sonja Morgan should count herself lucky for being excluded!

Taking to her Bravo blog, Jules jokingly begins, “Asian flush, pancake licking, vibrating thigh masters, trout vaginas and a Mystery Man — the past couple of weeks’ episodes feel like we were filming a made-for-cable movie of a Harlequin summer beach read. It’s been fun and nuts, but this week it was just us girls, and things quickly started moving in the direction of a murder mystery!”
The newbie writes, I’m not gonna lie, I was really looking forward to a fun and relaxing 24 hours with the girls and celebrating Dorinda’s birthday with a good old-fashioned holiday slumber party,” adding, “After hearing news that my father was in the ICU for pneumonia and losing a nanny, I was hopeful for a light and fun time in the Berkshires! Well, it was frankly exhausting. I felt like I was refereeing a bunch of over-tired toddlers having a meltdown at a playdate.
She’s quickly learning that the only way to get attention in this crowd is to be incredibly self-absorbed. I’m still floored by Luann interrupting Jules getting news about her father’s health to whine about being slut shamed. Jules recaps, “My dad is ill, and it’s Dorinda’s birthday (OMG the cake, don’t mess with the cake. Ever.) but everyone is too busy catfighting over nonsense to care. Dorinda is my friend, and she tries so hard to get everyone together for a fun and meaningful time, so I tried my best to break the ice and get the girls to have fun. But there is only so much a girl can do when people are hell-bent on fighting.”
Jules concludes, “I would have rather stayed in bed with my Netflix pants on. Back to refereeing my kids. At least they know how to say sorry to each other and go to bed.”
That’s not a completely fair assessment. Luann knows how to go to bed…wasn’t that what one of the issues was?

With Season 7 contracts being signed, rumors are already swirling about next season’s cast. One thing is unquestionably certain – Bravo wants changes! It seems they might want more true friendship and fun, rather than the divisive “Munchausen show” and ManipulationGate, RHOBH became last season.
Oh no – say it ain’t so Yolanda Hadid is probably not be returning to Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills next season. I don’t know how I’ll recover from the heartbreak. Maybe I’ll just go instagram some sad-face selfies.
Unfortunately Kathryn Edwards, who I was slow to warm-up to, but eventually really liked, is reportedly not returning either.

At the center of last season’s negativity was Yolanda, who hid marital issues behind medical ones, was condescending to the other women, and focused her entire storyline around Lyme Disease and who wasn’t sympathetic enough. But, let’s be frank, IV Drips are not the glamorous image Bravo wants of their wealthiest zip code!
According to Tamara Tattles, who usually has very solid casting tea, contracts have been signed by Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, and Erika Girardi. As was expected.
Presently Eileen Davidson is supposedly being offered a Friend of the Housewives role, but is not happy about it (and neither is Lipsa). Kathryn was not asked back. Us Weekly is also reporting that Kathryn was fired.
And… duh, duh, duh: YOLANDA (possibly) WAS ALSO FIRED! I s’pose without David’s fabulous life, no one is interested in the Lymetastic Journey. I’m also guessing none of the women went to bat, campaigning for Yolanda’s return – probably not even her BFF “Erica“.
Unsurprisingly, Yolanda is said to be furious, and is spending her divorce coins on a last-minute recovery vaycay to paradise. Tamara Tattles says there’s a prediction Yolanda may pull a last-minute stunt as an attempt to entice producers to bring her back. What a miraculous recovery after ingesting coconuts?! Obviously Yolanda wants to continue having a platform for her attention seeking Lyme journey, and to sell her book. Well, Yolanda, you made your treatment bed by concealing the truth, (and being depressing TV), now lie in it and sick-selfie to your heart’s content!
I’m sure LVP’s fury also featured in the casting decision with Eileen and Yolanda. However there’s long been stories that producers were frustrated with Yolanda’s antics. Andy did seem pretty annoyed on her last WWHL appearance. Rumor has it Yolanda has been a hell-on-wheels diva and impossibly demanding to work with (the last-minute bailing on filming is nothing new), but last season was out of control.
As for Kim Richards, of course, she’ll be filming as a Friend. Kim is back in court today for her probation requirements. That court date was supposed to be last month, but was pushed back. TamaraTattles says Kim reportedly had a relapse while filming Mother/Daughter Experiment. It seems she’s struggling with My Sobriety again, but her latest relapse/violations could equal jail time. We know Bravo is NOT going to miss that!
Bravo is likely planning to film Kim and Kyle bonding over Brooke’s pregnancy, and presumably pull more Kathy Hilton drama, since Nicky is also prego.
Now, for the RHOBH of the future! Apparently there are four women currently testing for open spots. One of them may be Sydney Holland, who is campaigning hard to get a bite of the Bravo action.
Oh – it looks like Brandi Glanville will not be back in any capacity, because with Yolanda gone, who on earth would film with her?

“They’ve been unhealthy for a while, and Kail knew divorce was inevitable,” the insider shares.
As for rumors that Javi cheated on Kail while deployed, or that Kail cheated on Javi, the insider insists that wouldn’t even matter. “They’ve been separated since December, so if Javi was with anyone else overseas it wouldn’t really be cheating.”
“The bottom line is they were two strong personalities who both want to be in control living together,” the source explains to Us Weekly. “They clashed.” Uhhh… yeah, so that’s why marriage is considered WORK. Although, let’s be honest, pretty much none of these Teen Mom 2 stars know anything about work. #MTVLivingIsTheLifeForMe
Next week’s preview shows a tense Javi and Kail ending their fractured marriage over FaceTime. Kail complains that everything is up in the air, and an annoyed Javi shuts down her questions by saying, “I guess there is no future.”
Kail goes on to ask if it’s because she’s done having children. “You don’t want to be with me because I don’t want to have any more kids?” Kail demands.
“I didn’t say I don’t want to be with you, I said we’re not going to work,” answers Javi.
Continues Kail, “So, we’re not going to work out because I don’t want to have any more children?” Javi confirms, “Right. And your excuse is bullshit!”
Kail goes on to yell that after she graduates she wants to work full-time (HA!) and is over staying at home. Uh, so she’d rather be a single mother. Mmmkay. Let’s hope Kail takes some Logic & Reasoning classes in college!

Have you recovered from Nightmare On Dorinda’s Street yet? Well, apparently, Luann de Lesseps has! Because she breezes through her blog this week on the wings of a bird who got sniped a few times, but eventually broke free from the cage of horrors that was The Real Housewives of New York!
Bottom line: Luann thinks Bethenny Frankel had it out for her from the very start. She accuses, “From the get-go, Bethenny decided that I was her prey and she was going to kill me with words. Obviously she’s been harboring a lot of anger towards me. I was surprised as I spent a lot of time with her over the summer, and she never shared her feelings with me. In fact, we talked about it at the beginning of the season, and she’s still holding a grudge.”

Luann also defends herself against Bethenny’s friend’s accusation. “Her friend that supposedly saw Tom and I reconnecting at the Mark Hotel made up that I said, ‘I’m next’ in regards to his dating Ramona [Singer]. At that time, I didn’t know that Tom had casually dated Ramona. Tom and I were both single at the time and dating.”
In love, engaged, and happy, Luann gushes about how her relationship with Tom actually began – despite ridiculous rumors that she “stole” him from Turtle Time! “I knew immediately after meeting Tom that this was going to be a long-lasting relationship. I didn’t feel that I had to ask Ramona’s permission to date Tom as they obviously were not dating. We’ve been inseparable since we met, and that was before Thanksgiving.”
“So all of these accusations that I’m dating married men are slanderous and not true,” blogs Luann. “The truth is that I was only dating single, available men, and Bethenny is a hypocrite for calling me out for dating married men. This article came out in February?”
Not one to let a good soundbite bit go, Luann snarks, “Let’s talk about Bethenny’s hair. Come on! Really? It looks exactly like mine. I’m flattered that she likes my style.” So, will this lead to Luann’s next music single!? Bish Stole My Bob!
Calling out Dorinda Medley next, Luann argues, “I think that hostesses have a responsibility to manage their guests, so when I talked to Jules [Wainstein] on Dorinda’s front porch, I was still reeling from my encounter with Bethenny. I realize now that she was distracted with her father’s health issues and that I should have been more empathetic to what was going on with her instead of focusing on me, but I was under attack. She’s right, fighting with Bethenny is not life and death, it’s optional!”
Next, Luann explains her apologies – via text – to both Carole Radziwill and Bethenny. And why she thinks Carole is NEVER going to let her grudge go. “When I’m wrong, I admit it, and I sent Carole a text re-apologizing for things I’ve said in the past. To Bethenny, I sent a text saying I was sorry if I miscommunicated my role in naming her brand. I was there with her at the time and that is all I was saying. As for Carole, I don’t know what else I can do if she doesn’t accept my apology. I was ready to move on, and I was trying to salvage what was left of the weekend.”
Lastly, Luann ultimately apologizes to Dorinda for insulting her mom’s birthday cake. The Countess admits it just wasn’t a cool move. She explains, “Had I known the back-story on the cake, I would have never have kidded her about it. Mothers are sacred even in Housewives territory. Amen.”
