Whitney Sudler-Smith Calls Kathryn Dennis A Drug Addict; Kathryn Reacts To WWHL With Cameran, Landon and More

Tonight’s Watch What Happens Live was nearly a Southern Charm reunion episode, minus T-Rav and Kathryn Dennis, although they were the topic of conversation. In the clubhouse tonight: Cameran Eubanks, Whitney Sudler-Smith, Landon Clements, – and later on in the episode – Shep Rose.

Andy reveals that Landon’s ex-husband was once married to Stacey Dash. Andy remarks that Stacy is dumb and then corrects it to “she says dumb things.” Landon just giggles and says they’re in a good place so she’s not messing it up by saying a word.

Landon giggles again when they play a clip of Thomas jumping out the window. “That’s how I feel every time I’m around her. I just want to climb out the window.”

Andy says again that he’s sorry for calling Stacy dumb.

Andy plays a clip of Kathryn explaining to Craig that she had a relationship with Whitney. He’s been waiting to give his side. He first deflects and snarks about adopting her and her kids and co-parenting with her and T-Rav.  Andy says “you clearly had something going with her.” Whitney says “for one night. Fun for TV, however there’s no truth in the matter, but I wish her the best.” Andy says that he seems very defensive about it. Whitney admits “I was very defensive about it because, #1 I was hammered on moonshine and the absurdity struck me a little harder than it should have. So, yes, I did overreact.”

Cameran jumps in “I think Whitney feels like she completely exaggerated their relationship.”

Andy asks what they know about Kathryn failing her drug test. Landon says “That it’s true. And that’s all that we know. It’s heartbreaking and it’s hard to watch and be a part of it, but there we are.”  Cameran says it’s sad.

Why do they accept Thomas‘ behavior but judge Kathryn and ice her out? Landon snipes “he passed his drug test.” Andy says “no, this is before that. You’ve been judging her behavior.”  Whitney jumps in and says they’ve been pegged as mean, snobby, exclusive people to this poor, helpless unwed mother, “when in fact she is a drug addict, violent sociopath and we want nothing to do with her.” He says this has been going on for two years and they don’t want to associate with her because of it.  “It’s indicative of what we’ve been dealing with.”

On everyone questioning the paternity of Kathryn’s children, Cameran says she believes they’re his but even if “one of them wasn’t, he would take responsibility for it.”

A viewer asks if the three of them feel that they treated Kathryn unfairly this season? They all say no. Landon says “We’re old and we don’t care. I just don’t want to be involved.” Cameran says “we don’t want to be dragged into ‘issues’.”  Landon adds, “they have a saying in the South: if you lay down with dogs, you’re going to get up with fleas.”

Landon says that she and Thomas never hooked up. “We’re just friends and I think that was Kathryn’s biggest problem because the friendship I have with Thomas is what she really longed for. It’s sad and I tried to be Kathryn’s friend and she just wasn’t having it. We were friendly for a minute and then she just turned on me.” Cameran adds that Thomas is too loose-lipped. She says if he hooked up with Landon, he would’ve told somebody because he can’t keep a secret.

Shep Rose enters the clubhouse halfway through the show.

A caller asks if they think Thomas and Kathryn will ever get back together? Cameran says no but Shep says “they get back together every other day!” Shep then reveals that he believes Thomas has a bet with someone in his family for a large sum of money if he never talks to Kathryn again. Shep can’t reveal the amount and admits that he doesn’t even know if the story is true. Whitney says it’s true and it’s $100,000, but he clarifies that the “bet” is that if Thomas talks to her he has to pay this certain someone $100K.

Andy is flustered, saying “he’s raising his children with her, of course he has to speak with her.” Whitney clarifies that the bet is that they can’t “get together.”

Poll Question: Shep and Landon: Yes or No?  Cameran says No because they’re too good of friends and Shep loses interest too quickly. Whitney says no, too. “They might have sex and he’d be bored the next morning.”  76% of the viewers voted NO.

Kathryn Tweeted during the show, “The 3 biggest liars #WWHL this is hilarious watching. These creatures are sincerely creeping me out with their utter devotion to writing me off of #southerncharm as well as to slandering me. Ew.”

Big Brother 18 Veterans Vs. Newbies – How to Fix the Alliance Problem

Considering there are so many Big Brother 18 cast rumors of returning veteran houseguests, we have come up with some alternatives to the scenario that might fix one of the inherent problems: inherent alliances with newbies vs. returnees.

The Brigade Alliance and Brendon on Big Brother (CBS)

First, it is obvious that people do not like the “coach” twist, which I think was pretty clear and I would not expect CBS Big Brother to do this again. For about a month or two now, I’ve been thinking it will be 8 newbies and 8 returning house guests.  This is primarily because even though they still had casting calls, they did significantly less casting and recruiting this year than in the past.  This would make sense if they didn’t need to fill the full 16 slots with new cast members.

Therefore, my prediction seems possible.  It’s not the end of the world; however, there is a problem with a mix of fresh and former Big Brother houseguests.  It creates inherent alliances and often turns the show into newbies versus returnees, especially at the beginning.

The main problem with this is that often, returnees are much better at playing the strategic game and tend to dominate competitions.  This means that the block always consists of newbies, and since you can’t take two off (considering one is removed with the Power of Veto), the newbies get picked off until there is some crossover of the alliances.

While we want good players and good TV, it’d almost be more fair if you use one of the first 5 that went home.  They aren’t always bad players, and often, they go home because they seem like good players.  If they don’t seem like good players, they may be unpredictable and untrustworthy which can make for great TV.

Big Brother 16 Cast – Devin (CBS)

Take Devin Shepherd from Big Brother 16, for example, he definitely played too hard too fast, but he made for good TV.  If he returned, at least we know he’d be entertaining!  His game play may also fit better with a different set of house guests.  However, he might have trouble building alliances since he was definitely unpredictable, such as when he invited Amber Borzotra and Christine Brecht into the Bomb Squad alliance without talking to the other members.

If you have returning houseguests who aren’t Top 5, you may have a better chance at a good fight.  Since they went home so early, their strategic game didn’t have the time to build.  In addition, they haven’t competed in as many competitions as the top players.  You also have to account for the fact that the players in the Top 5 have known strategies since almost their entire game was shown on national TV (and the Big Brother Live Feeds).  With players who went home early, we have yet to see their true game play which would be similar to having new players since we wouldn’t necessarily know what to expect.  In addition, by going home early, they may have trouble building an alliance, even being all returnees who went home early which may prevent the inherent new versus old alliances.

A few other new versus old options that would break the inherent alliance barriers also include a twist.  You could have 8 returning house guests and 8 newbies; however, the newbies would be someone that they know – such as a close friend.  This would make it hard to form an alliance with only your respective group of houseguests since you would want to align with your friend.

The same could be true if every returning houseguest had a relative as a new house guest.  Kind of like a Survivor Blood vs. Water style game. This could be any relative – from a sibling to an aunt or uncle to a cousin.  For strategic purposes, I kind of like the “friend” twist better because it’d be easier to hide who you know which would allow you to have a secret alliance.  The same could be true for a non-sibling family member, but there could still be some features that look the same.

This article isn’t meant to be speculation or fuel any more rumors.  It is meant to be thoughts behind what they could do with veterans which might help with the main problem facing a mix of houseguests.

Southern Charm’s Thomas Ravenel Travels With His Kids; Did Kathryn Dennis Fail A Drug Test?

Remember when I said I just like to think of what’s going on with the Southern Charm stars as the show airs instead of their present day antics? This post is precisely why (well part of it at least). There is actual good news and rumored bad news with the Bravo’s volatile couple.

Thomas Ravenel took Kathryn Dennis, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his two young children, to family court last week (with a hearing on the merits scheduled for June 27th), and while we don’t know what happened during the motion hearing, we do know that Thomas is posting pictures with his daughter for the first time in months. That’s good news, right?

After claiming Kathryn wouldn’t allow him to see his children unless he coughed up more money, T-Rav posted a picture on his Twitter yesterday, captioning it: “Kensie beating the heat!” This update came on the heels of the below photo of the precious toddler getting a haircut.

Of course those father-daughter moments can’t top T-Rav traveling today with both Kensie and baby Julien–as well as treats from Bill Murray! How have I still never had a Bill Murray sighting? The man is everywhere down here! Thomas and his brood were on a plane with the movie star who gifted Kensie with candy. 

While these updates drew both excitement and disdain from his many followers, but I think we can all agree that the child looks incredibly happy and thank God for Dawn. While Thomas is falling back into the role of doting daddy, things aren’t going as well for Kathryn, according to FitsNews. 

The site reports that the breakout star of Southern Charm has allegedly failed a court-ordered drug test, citing unnamed sources from her attorney’s office. Holy potential ethical violation, Batman! Sounds like someone needs to clean house…and stat! However, the source didn’t reveal the substances allegedly found in her system (nor the kind of test allegedly administered). 

If you ever wondered why I chose to practice real estate law, it’s because I would never be able to remember to use “allegedly” in all necessary instances. That said, I am happy to see those adorable babies so happy…but who wouldn’t be thrilled with a Bill Murray encounter? Also, Kensie looks over the moon in the pool picture. It’s probably more fun than the last time she and T-Rav shared some pool time! Sorry, bad joke, but I couldn’t resist.

Which Real Housewife From Each City Is Obsessed With Etiquette?

Sure, every show in the Real Housewives franchise is unique is, but there are certain elements that carry through in every series. Although each Housewife is unique, there is pretty much always one person in each show who is a real stickler for etiquette- and wants every single person to be aware of it.

These are the ladies who live by a set of social rules and love to remind the other cast members about it whenever they possibly can. You know who I’m talking about and there’s one of these girls in each series. Sometimes these ladies are just genuinely trying to share some guidance based on their past experiences. And other times these are the kind of women who just like to hear themselves talk about etiquette over and over again.

Real Housewives of Orange County- Heather Dubrow

For the most part, Heather Dubrow really plays off her focus on etiquette very well. At first I didn’t know what to make of the woman nicknamed “Fancy Pants,” but I am a honestly a fan. She is definitely more refined than the other ladies on Real Housewives of Orange County and she does share her two cents about etiquette pretty often, but for the most part she really isn’t judgmental of the other woman. And I’m not trying to be shady, she’s BFF’s with Tamra Judge, so clearly she does not care if her friends are less polished than she is. 

Real Housewives of New York- Luann de Lesseps

When Real Housewives of New York started, Luann de Lesseps would not let anyone forget that she is a Countess. I distinctly remember a scene from the first season when she corrected Bethenny Frankel after she introduced her as Luann instead of “Countess de Lesseps.” She even wrote a book called Class with the Countess about etiquette tips. But then Luann got divorced and she unleashed her inner cougar and I was all about it. So she was getting wild, but still sharing her etiquette opinions with everyone even though it can be argued that she was behaving in the same ways as her peers. But that contradiction makes great TV and I live for it.

Real Housewives of Atlanta- Phaedra Parks

Phaedra Parks is all about being a Southern Belle on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She has no problem calling out the ladies when she feels like they are out of line. She is just a little bit confusing though. She can talk about being a prim and proper church lady in one scene and twerk in mesh, thong bikini the next. Don’t get me wrong, I feel like you can be a lady in the street and a freak in the bed, but Phaedra’s persona can be confusing at times. I feel like she’s just trying to do it all- and yes, Phaedra also wrote a book full of etiquette tips.

Real Housewives of New Jersey- Caroline Manzo

When it came to the Real Housewives of New Jersey, it was hard to think of someone who is the standard perfectionist when it comes to etiquette, but Caroline Manzo comes pretty damn close. Sure, there’s nothing super refined about the Jersey cast (which is why they are so great), but Caroline was constantly pushing her Italian family values on everyone. So I feel like she would fit the bill for the New Jersey etiquette queen- it’s just a very different set of rules.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills- Yolanda Foster

I didn’t know how I felt about Yolanda Foster when she first joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast. I remember her saying “There’s nothing uglier than a drunk woman” and I wondered if she had any idea what show she was on. And then she had all of those awkwardly structured dinner parties that seemed to be far from fun. Over time, it seemed like she started to loosen up and accept the other women- but at the same time, these are the least wild women in the whole franchise with the exception of Brandi Glanville so I feel like she shouldn’t have been fretting too much.

Real Housewives of Potomac- Karen Huger

We’ve only had one season of Real Housewives of Potomac, I’m already done with Karen Huger CONSTANTLY talking about etiquette and how she is the queen bee of Potomac society. I keep going back and forth trying to decide how I feel about her as a cast member on the show, but I’ll tell you one thing: I am beyond over her constant etiquette tips. Who is Karen Huger anyway? I just have no idea why she thinks she has such high authority over the city of Potomac. I get that she’s been around for a while, but I think that she could still be a proper lady and actually be nice to people. I have no idea where the attitude comes from. I feel like she could have at least waited for season two to pull that shit out.

Real Housewives of Dallas- LeeAnne Locken

I cannot stand watching LeeAnne Locken on Real Housewives of Dallas. With that said, I have to be honest and admit that there would be no show without her. Still, I could really do without her constantly talking about the so-called “charity world” nonstop. If I wanted to play a drinking game watching the show, I would get wasted if I only had one rule: drink when LeeAnne talks about etiquette. She is beyond obnoxious and her constant chatter about social rules actually makes her look tacky in an ironic way.

Some of these ladies use their wisdom to educate the people around them and others just need to chill out and stop being so self righteous. Nevertheless, they all play an integral part in the Real Housewives franchise and it wouldn’t be the same without them.

Jenelle Evans’ Ex Nathan Griffith Arrested AGAIN!

Well, well… it may just be Jenelle Evans‘ lucky day when it comes to custody of Kaiser, because Nathan Griffith has just been arrested again! 

This weekend Nathan was arrested in Myrtle Beach, SC for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, impairment and endangering himself and others. This is perfect timing for the Teen Mom 2 train wreck – today he and Jenelle are due back in court for a custody hearing related to Kaiser. Jenelle, mother of the century, is currently trying to secure full custody by proving Nathan is unfit. Which is sort of like Pot calling the Kettle’s bottom black!

A representative for Myrtle Beach PD told In Touch Weekly that 28-year-old Nathan was arrested for disorderly conduct, and that he attempted to resist arrest, but refused to give additional details. 

Good for Nathan – he’s spent almost 5 months handcuff-free! He was last arrested in February when Jenelle accused him of breaking into her car and stealing her belongings at the airport while the devoted mother was on yet another vacation with her current boyfriend David Eason. 

In response to Nathan’s latest arrest Jenelle boasted on twitter, “At least I can say I’m staying out of trouble.” For now…

Jenelle’s most recent scuffle with the law occurred in March. While she was bailing David out of jail on domestic violence charges, Jenelle was served with a summons for cyberstalking. 

RELATED – DAVID’S EASON’S CRIMINAL PAST!

While Nathan’s mug shot roster is nothing compared to his esteemed ex-fiance, he’s no innocent – in addition to the larceny charge (which I believed was dropped?) he has a whopping 3 DUIs, and a domestic violence arrest or two – plus he previously lost custody of his daughter Emory. Isn’t it funny that Jenelle and Nathan didn’t work out – they’re sort of a match made in hell! 

Jenelle and Nathan will be facing off again on Part 1 of the Teen Mom 2 reunion this week where Nathan accuses her of using drugs again. Lovely.

NeNe Leakes Now Has Her Own Mobile App!

People love to hate on Kim Kardashian, but she (or someone on her team) is always coming up with some pretty innovative ideas. Pretty much everyone has copied her mobile video game and her Kimoji app by coming out with their own versions and NeNe Leakes is the latest star to join in on that trend.

At this point, you’re not even a celeb if you don’t have your own emoji app. So it was only a matter of time before NeNe hopped on board the emoji train. Her new mobile app is called Nemoji-naturally, but she did things a little bit differently than the other celeb app entrepreneurs.

My understanding is that NeNe’s Nemoji app is a combination of being a celeb video game and an emoji app. According to the official Nemoji description this what users can expect: “The app features Nene-inspired Emojis that include several of her famous sayings such as BLOOP, CLOSE UR LEGS TO MARRIED MEN, GIRL BY and many others.  In addition the users will have access to several Stickers and special Dressing Room featuring items from Nene’s very own closet that enables the users to ‘Come Play With Me.’  In the dressing room the users can dress Nene with their choice of her hairstyles, clothing outfits, shoes and accessories.”

I’m kind of confused about whether the dressing room is actually a  game with levels of achievement or if it’s just something fun for the users to experience, but it does seem like she is combining these two common celebrity app experiences into one.

And just like other similar mobile apps, the users have the option to connect to their social media accounts to share their usage with friends.

If you are an Apple user with an iPhone or iPad you can download Nemoji right now, but if you have an Android, you will have to wait until later this month to get it on your device.

Jessica Parido Calls Out Mike Shouhed After Watching The Latest “Shahs Of Sunset” Episode

I know that the Shahs of Sunset fans have mixed reviews of Jessica Parido since she did not exactly get along with Mike Shouhed‘s cast members. Nevertheless, you have to admit that she is a real ride or die wife. She converted to Judaism for Mike and really built her life around being with him. Sure, she put all her eggs in one (shady, unfaithful) basket, but you have to give her credit for her loyalty.

And if you watched the last episode of the show, you have to also give her credit for standing up for herself when Mike was clearly trying to change the narrative about their marital troubles to be in his favor. Mike called Jessica a “bitch” and she threatened to “call him out” for cheating in front of his friends. All we saw in the on-camera interview was Mike saying that he was thankful no one else overheard. And then he was asked point blank if he cheated on her and he said no. Well, Jessica has a starkly different point of view on what went down.

Jessica was pretty peeved when that episode aired and she took to Twitter to make that clear. She tweeted, “Damn. Award winning performance there buddy. Lies so good I start to question myself.” I don’t even know the dude and I was thinking the same exact thing when I watched the episode. It was very clear by his reaction to Jessica saying she would “call him out” for cheating that he was nervous. And then he just decided to play it cool in the on-camera interview. Please.

And I could not help getting vicariously annoyed for Jessica when he freaked out about who Jessica was texting when they were technically separated. Meanwhile, we all know that Mike is a total dog and was probably more than texting several women. It’s pretty ironic that he went bat shit crazy just because he saw that Jessica was texting a contact she named “J” in her phone. And this is after, he was bragging about going to the club and talking to all these single women- ON THE SHOW. 

Jessica is pissed off and I don’t blame her. Not only did the dude betray her, but he’s lying about it and trying to make himself look good on TV. And if you check out Jessica’s Twitter, you will see that she’s retweeting a bunch of people who are conveying this same message. One of her retweets read, “so it’s ok for Mike to cheat but as soon as he ‘thinks’ u r talking to another guy he goes nuts ha typical man who cheats.” That’s exactly what I was thinking.

Sure, most of the Shahs of Sunset fans never really warmed up to Jessica while she and Mike were happily together, but it’s hard to do anything but take her side in this instance. Mike treated her like shit and embarrassed her in a very public manner. #TeamJessica

Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna Have Supposedly Enlisted Kris Jenner To Secure A TV Wedding

At this point, nothing surprises me in the saga that is Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s whirlwind romance. After some very reclusive years, Rob is nabbing all the headlines in his very public relationship with the Instagram “model”. Things have moved very quickly for the pair. They are engaged to be married. Blac Chyna is pregnant with the sole Kardashian heir. And we all knew that it was only a matter of time until the two landed a reality TV show.

Well, the IT couple has a TV show that is set to focus on their romance and the baby, but now they want more. They want more exposure. And of course, they want to milk that for as much money as they can. And there is no one who is better to help them than Rob’s mother Kris Jenner.

Say what you want about Kris, but you have to admit that she is a great manager. All of her kids are doing very well. They are constantly talked about in the press and I feel like they are making a ton of money every single day. She still hasn’t spoken out publicly about Rob and Blac Chyna’s relationship, so I really didn’t think she was supporting it- but apparently, she is on board now that the two want to broadcast their wedding on television.

Part of me is surprised that Kris would help put with this considering all the drama Blac Chyna has had with the Kardashians in the past, but then there’s this other side of me that is not shocked at all. I feel like her son needs her support now more than ever and aside from that we all know that Kris is a kick ass momager who knows how to obtain the big bucks for her children.

The couple has enlisted Kris for help with the hopes of securing a seven figure deal to have their wedding on TV. If anyone can come through for them, it’s Kris. Plus I feel like people are really interested in this story so I’m sure they will tune in for this. And in all honesty, I have to admit that I have shamelessly watched everything that this family has ever put on E! and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Andy Cohen Launches His Own Book Imprint! Plus, Releasing Another Book

Andy Cohen never sleeps, does he? The Watch What Happens Live host announced this week that he’s publishing his third non-fiction book and he’s publishing it on his very own book imprint, Andy Cohen Books, under Henry Holt & Co.

Andy shared on Instagram that we can expect his third book, SUPERFICIAL: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries this winter – November 15th. In that same announcement, he revealed the launch of Andy Cohen Books.

From his website, “Since the publication of his last book, Andy has toured the country with his sidekick Anderson Cooper, hit the radio waves with his own Sirius station, Radio Andy, appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher despite his mother’s conviction he was not intellectually prepared, hosted NBC’s Primetime New Year’s Eve special, guest edited Entertainment Weekly, starred in Bravo’s Then & Now with Andy Cohen, offended celebrities with his ongoing case of foot-in-mouth disease, and welcomed home Teresa “Namaste” Giudice, from a brief stint in jail. Launching his own book imprint makes total sense given the number of books the Housewives put out alone, plus add in the other Bravolebrity possibilities. And his celebrity friend list isn’t too shabby, either. Sounds like a win and I’m a little surprised that nobody else in the reality realm thought of it first.

CBS Big Brother Cites Orlando Tragedy For Cast Reveal Delay

Late on Sunday night, CBS Big Brother suddenly announced they would be delaying the season 18 cast reveal, moving it from Monday morning to Tuesday afternoon. At the time, no reason was given for the abrupt change in timeline. On Monday, shortly before the original Big Brother 18 cast reveal was originally start happening, CBS released a follow up statement citing the horrific Orlando shootings tragedy for the delay.

The Big Brother 2016 cast reveal scheduled for Monday was promoted heavily by CBS for weeks to the press and fans. News that the event would be bumped until Tuesday came as something of a shock, especially to press and fan sites prepared to cover the cast unveiling. Many fans were also upset by the news of a delay as they had already paid to sign up for the Live Feeds. Some even stated on Twitter and Facebook they had taken the day off work to be on hand for the event.

Delaying the event was a huge deal, and we couldn’t help but wonder if it might have something to do with the horrific Orlando shootings this past weekend. We wondered if perhaps one of the Big Brother 18 Houseguests might have had a family member or friend who was a victim in the tragedy. Or perhaps CBS had decided they just didn’t want to have a big day of excited self-promotion for Big Brother after such a terrible tragedy. So we weren’t surprised when CBS announced Monday that the massacre in Orlando was the reason behind the delay.

While we say one unsubstantiated report on Facebook that Big Brother alums Frankie Grande and Derrick Levasseur “lost family members” in Orlando, we’ve seen no actual evidence at all that this is the case. It is unclear if the poster was being serious with the comment, or just expressing frustration toward those angry at CBS for the delay they have now attributed to the Orlando shootings. Both Frankie and Derrick have been rumored to possibly be returning veterans on the Big Brother 18 cast.

The new Houseguests photos, bios and first interviews will now be released on Tuesday at 1PM PT/4PM ET. Big Brother Access will, of course, be live blogging the event for the fans here on the site, on Facebook, and on Twitter. After the big reveal, we’ll follow up with in depth profiles on each of the new cast members throughout the week.

Shahs of Sunset Recap: Sex, Lies and Kaftans

 

After watching the Shahs of Sunset since the beginning, tonight’s episode has been a long time coming. The lightning fast dissolution of the marriage between Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido didn’t exactly surprise anyone, but the fact that Jessica stuck around without revealing what happened did. That all stopped tonight when Jessica made it clear what Mike can do with his golden dool.

Asa Soltan Rahmati is busy preparing for a big fashion show that will let the whole world know that Asa’s Kaftans are not just for VIP/Only Customer Kyle Richards. Asa has sunk $50K into the show (seriously?!) and wants to make sure her mother, Zinat, doesn’t know because well, that was probably payroll. Understandably, Zinat is worried when Asa tells her that there is only about $2,500 in the company bank account. Even though Asa reminds us AGAIN that when they left Iran with nothing, she needs to take risks for the family and she doesn’t think her parents should seek stability. I guess because fleeing a war torn country to raise your family safely and work to build a better life for decades doesn’t earn you the right to be stable – now get back to peddling kaftans!

Reza Farahan is meeting Mike Shouhed to get their cuticles trimmed and presumably, talk about what horrible people they are. Reza wants to know why Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi was partying so hard when she is supposed to be really sick with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Mike points out how much GG lies and Reza finally says out loud what we have all been thinking the whole season: GG is exaggerating her RA for attention. Let me pause here to say that for the record, I do think GG has RA. But I agree with Reza (I just swallowed my pride hard on that statement) that she is exaggerating a bit for attention, plus an excuse for bad behavior and sympathy. Which sounds awfully familiar when it comes to Bravo story lines but that’s a whole other ball of wax.

We now join Mercedes “MJ” Javid and boyfriend, Tommy Feight, for some much needed couples therapy and by the looks of it, this isn’t their first time going. I don’t know exactly how long they have been dating, but given the trip to the fertility doctor and now the therapist, these two spend more time at the doctor than a couple who have been married for 50 years. Not a good sign. MJ wants to feel like she is with another adult and not a child (oh, that’s rich) and doesn’t want him laughing everything off all the time. The therapist sees the shadow of Vida and MJ knows it’s looming over her relationship. They leave without accomplishing much but MJ should thank her lucky stars that Tommy is laughing off this session and still even interested in dating her.

Mike meets Jessica for dinner and Jessica has regret written all over her face from the night before. Mike tries to brush over how hard relationships are and Jessica kindly reminds him that they sure are, when full of lies and deceit. Mike is confused – wasn’t Jessica just nice to him? How can she be so cold now? It’s called Tito’s vodka, Mike. And probably contractual obligations. Jessica wants him to admit what he did and Mike refuses to take responsibility out loud because you know, he’s ready to move forward. Never mind that his wife is hurting from his transgressions, he’s ready to be a good husband now! Everyone rejoice and move on!

Back at MJ’s place, her friend shows up and MJ admits that Tommy has bought a one way ticket out of Crazy Town, as in, he told her he was done, packed up his stuff and left. While MJ chain smokes and claims that she’s out there in the deep ending fighting for the relationship and Tommy won’t even go in the water because it’s too cold, her friend looks on, not really surprised at all. MJ says it’s time for a margarita with fried ice cream and a side of tequila because that’s how adults deal with stuff. Something Tommy would never understand.

It’s the day of Asa’s kaftan show where the hair is either “like, big” or “like, flat”. The innovation is just dripping from this show already. While the models do their own makeup and strap bib necklaces over their faces, Asa jumps right in, making herself seem way more important than she is while yelling things like, “more leg oil!”

Reza, MJ and Mike get drinks and wait for the magic to begin. Mike has another stupid hat on – I thought he was building a shoe empire, not a fedora empire – and it’s really hard for me to take him seriously in these get ups. The talk immediately turns to GG and her RA and when GG arrives, Reza admits she doesn’t look like someone who is about to go through chemo. I’m assuming he means she doesn’t look sick?

Reza pulls her aside with Shervin Roohparvar (who we have seen less and less of as the season goes on) to say he’s concerned about her. GG explains that she just got the news yesterday that she has to do intravenous chemotherapy and doesn’t appreciate everyone being all in her business about it. They need to back off – but still like her inspirational posts about it on Instagram. Once she storms off, Reza just comes out and says he thinks she is lying about having RA for a long list of reasons: she is out in the club all night, drinking, smoking and wearing six inch heels, just for starters. Instead of handling it himself, Reza punts to Shervin and insists that he be the one to ask her if she is really getting chemo.

I think Shervin should have told Reza to do it his damn self, but he quietly complies and confronts GG by telling her there are questions about whether or not she even has RA. Reza creeps off to the side of the conversation like the scummy person he is and doesn’t say anything. GG doesn’t defend herself, just tells Shervin to eff off.

Backstage before the kaftans start flying, Asa is greeting Latoya Jackson, who had nothing better to do then come to the show today. Over at cocktail hour, Jessica shows up with a face as hard as plastic while she looks at her phone the whole time. Mike is immediately on edge because something seems fishy. He remembers the days before they hated each other when they used to text all the time and Jessica being glued to her phone looks oddly familiar. As Mike hovers over her, he sees a text come in from the letter “J” and demands to see the text and know who it is. Jessica sticks to her guns and reminds Mike that he doesn’t need to know everything she is doing. While Mike tries to act tough and mutter something under his breath, Jessica isn’t going to stand for it and tells him she can out him right now. She finally says OUT LOUD that he has been cheating on her, instead of dancing around it.

Somehow, no one else has heard this and Jessica storms out. She’s finally had enough and admits in her talking head that she has been protecting Mike for the last 3 months by hiding what’s been going on. Mike chases her out and tries to manipulate her into thinking she’s making stuff up and while he’s fighting for their marriage, she is hiding a text message. Oh no, no, Jessica is not covering for him anymore and spits back that he’s been doing the same thing for their whole marriage. Mike reasons that the less people know about what really happened in their relationship, the easier it will be for him to fix it. The delusion is real, people.

As Jessica tries to escape in any direction, Reza makes his way outside and sees Mike yelling and cornering Jessica aggressively. Asa gets word backstage that the Four Seasons is about to kick them out if they can’t get it under control and Jessica eventually storms over to her seat. Reza tries to calm Mike down as he seethes about filing for divorce. Asa is freaking out because the twenty-five people who are invited just barely made it to their seats to see the show.

Finally, the show starts and all I can see is an explosion of colored animal prints and oversized costume jewelry coming down the runway. Mike and Reza are missing the whole show and they aren’t the only seats that are empty. Reza immediately runs up to Asa to explain why they missed her big moment and she’s pissed. Don’t worry, guys, I’m sure there will be another show/venture/product launch in a few months.

As Jessica goes to leave, Mike won’t let her go in peace and we cut to a producer asking Mike point blank if he cheated on her. Mike’s eyes are rolled to the top of his head and he’s bright red but gives a little head shake, sets his jaw and says no. Is anyone buying this? About as much as they are buying his shoe line is my guess.
