Kandi Burruss Comments On Porsha Williams’ Activism And What To Expect For Real Housewives Of Atlanta Season 13

The Real Housewives of Atlanta never cease to amaze, impress, and most of all, entertain. Since wrapping the historical virtual Season 12 reunion, so much has happened. Namely, Porsha Williams was arrested for her protesting the murder of Breonna Taylor. Thankfully, the charges were dropped. She is back to carrying on her family business of fighting racism and standing up for what is equitable. This queen has even teased a new book! Can’t wait!

Watching Porsha come into her own through the years has been a true joy. She’s grown so much since the times of underground railroad confusion and spreading drug and rape accusations. Of course, these rumors directed at Kandi Burruss and started by shady Phaedra Parks, but I digress. Since then Phaedra has been in the press talking about her funeral business and sexless relationship….meh. Let’s get back to Porsha and Kandi, shall we?

Kandi recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the Black Lives Matter movement and Porsha’s activism, telling the outlet, “I love what Porsha is doing right now, I love the fact that she’s stepping up, especially in her grandfather’s footsteps.” If you’re new to the cast and show, Porsha’s grandfather was legendary civil rights leader Hosea Williams. He worked closely with none other than Martin Luther King, Jr. 

Kandi continued, “It’s a wonderful thing to see her step up in the way that she’s been stepping up in, putting her own freedom on the line for what she believes in.” Of course, Kandi hasn’t forgotten Porsha’s previous difficulty remembering key moments in civil rights history. She added, “Clearly in the past, yes, she was not necessarily the person that knew all the things about the history situation, but I mean … that leaves room for growth, and clearly, she has grown a lot over the last few years.” Love that. And grow she has!

The RHOA housewives have never shied away from the discussion of race and civil rights. We’ve seen them at gun violence rallies and speaking to children affected by the water crisis in Flint. We’ve even seen them supporting their LGBTQ family at Pride. Kandi shares, “It’s a reality show, which means you have to keep it real and we have to talk about what’s really happening around us right now.” 

When it comes to specific details, Kandi let us know, “Obviously the conversation of how we get [to equality] is definitely going to be a conversation that’s gonna be had. … I don’t know how it’s going to work — we’re just in the beginning — so we’ll see as it goes, but just like everything that’s happening in our lives we talk about, so it’s definitely gonna be discussed.”

As always, I can’t wait to see these women back on my screen! Rumor has it, there will be two new housewives gracing our screens in Season 13. I’m already buckling up.

Shannon Beador And Her 3 Daughters Tested Positive For Coronavirus

The Real Housewives of Orange County cast has come under fire for their comments and behaviors during the coronavirus pandemic. Shannon Beador, Emily Simpson, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Kelly Dodd all hung out in close proximity for a selfie, which sparked outrage among the fans. And David Beador’s fiancée and mother of his future child Lesley Cook shaded Shannon for this gathering. And, let’s not forget the many times that Kelly has made ignorant comments about coronavirus.

Previously demoted and eventually fired Housewife Vicki Gunvalson slammed the California governor for refusing to open up nail salons when she wanted to get a manicure. At the very beginning of the stay-at-home orders, Tamra Judge caught flack for keeping her gym open. And, most recently, the cast traveled to film a trip, which also incited criticism. And now, Shannon has revealed that she and all three of her daughters have tested positive for the coronavirus. Presumably, Shannon was not on the Real Housewives of Orange County cast trip.

Shannon posted a family photo with her four daughters, revealing, “This photo was taken pre-pandemic. Today, we are Covid positive times 4.” Wow. That has to be so incredibly stressful.

Shannon revealed, “The girls and I are blessed to be quarantining in the same home (but isolating in separate rooms).”

Melissa Gorga Says Denise Richards Should “Never Run Away From A Scene” On Real Housewives

All roads lead to Denise Richards these days. Even Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has chimed in on Denise’s drama with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast.

Denise has caught some flack for not showing up to events and leaving early, and, apparently, Melissa’s perspective is similar to the RHOBH ladies’.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Melissa shared some unsolicited advice, telling Denise to “never run from a scene.”

Melissa preached, “I always say stay there and get out whatever you want to say. When you leave the scene, sometimes that’s not always the best way because then you lead them to talk about it and it’s not always the truth.” Like when Denise left that BBQ and the cast just spent the rest of the time talking shit about her and attempting to climb on a stripper pole in a backyard tent.

Melissa said, “So I personally never run from a scene. I sit there until I get my point across and explain it and state my facts.” She added, “You got to just throw in the towel and be like, ‘All right, I’m not perfect’ and that’s why we’re on the show, to show we’re not here to act like a Mary Poppins.” That’s rich coming from Melissa with her fake baby and fake secret sister storylines.

Particularly, Melissa referenced the heated battles with sister-in-law Teresa Giudice back in the day, describing those arguments as “always hard” to film. But, apparently, they’re in a much better place these days with Melissa sharing, “We’ve definitely been spending time together.”

Jackie Goldschneider Says She’s “A Little Scared Of” Erika Jayne

For the most part, the Housewives keep the feuding to their own casts, but every once in a while there are some heated battles between Housewives from different shows. For instance, NeNe Leakes has shared some choice words for Lisa Vanderpump. Brandi Glanville had a years-long legal battle with Joanna Krupa… and some other drama with Kenya Moore. Brandi also had some heated exchanges with Tamra Judge on social media… so maybe Brandi is a common thread in these occurrences.

But, for the most part, the Real Housewives crossovers are usually pretty harmless and entertaining. Well, except for when Bethenny Frankel critiqued the production value of Erika Jayne’s music video when she has no insight on the music industry. But, they seemed to move past that one. What would it be like if Erika made an appearance on another Real Housewives show? Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Jackie Goldschneider recently admitted that thought made her feel “a little scared.”

During an interview with Domenick Nati, Jackie was asked, “Which Housewife would you not want to deal with on [Real Housewives of] New Jersey?” That’s when Jackie confessed, “I’m a little scared of Erika Jayne. I think that if she did something bad, I might be afraid to open my mouth to her because I think she chews people up and spits them out.”

Jackie continued, “I don’t know. I mean, I can handle anyone, but I don’t know if I want to get involved with that. She’s a strong female.”

Domenick asked, “If she moved to New Jersey, that would make you a little worried?” At first, Jackie said, “Yeah,” before she added, “I mean, I can handle it, but I enjoy a challenge.”

Then, Domenick took out his (metaphorical) spoon and started stirring things up with his follow-up question. He asked Jackie, “Do you think she’s just ‘strong,’ or do you think she’s kind of ‘bitchy’?” Jackie told him, “I don’t know her well enough to call her ‘bitchy,’ but I think that she’s really strong.”

Denise Richards Says Being So Open On Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills “Bit” Her “In The Ass A Bit”

 

Denise Richards is the reason to watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. If she wasn’t on this season, what would Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave have to talk about? Kyle’s failed fashion attempts? Erika’s canceled Chicago play? Lisa’s QVC line? Teddi’s…?

Aside from Garcelle Beauvais and Denise, the “friends” of these Housewives are the only people bringing anything to the table right now. I never thought I’d be this excited for cameos by Camille Grammer, Kim Richards, or even Brandi Glanville, but I am. Dorit Kemsley’s Bucca Di Beppo room decorating is even more exciting than anything Kyle and her mean girl army are orchestrating. At this point, who even cares if Denise and Brandi got it on? All this Denise pile on is doing is making Kyle’s desperation as transparent as Rinna’s.

Denise sat down with The Washington Post to talk about her experiences with RHOBH. Like viewers, she sees how far of a reach this mom-shaming story is. It didn’t take long for the writer to point out that her RHOBH costars “seemingly struggle to comprehend” the “dichotomy” of Denise speaking “freely in front of the Bravo cameras about the size of [Aaron] Phypers’s genitalia,” and the fact that, “she bristled when the women began discussing threesomes at a backyard party within earshot” of her kids.

“There are adult conversations, and there are kid conversations,” Denise explained.

“My openness definitely bit me in the ass a bit,” Denise shared. “It’s a learning process. I went into the show just being myself, and I never wanted to try and play a part. I am who I am,” she affirmed to TheWashington Post. She added, “people can believe whatever they want, but ‘Wild Things’ was not a documentary.” Seriously, how do her costars not understand? Or is this whole thing about jealousy?

The Washington Post talked to Patrick Muldoon – Denise’s ex and fellow soap star – who stated, “somebody that beautiful definitely could have played the game in her career, but there’s a grounded-ness to her.” Muldoon could be on to something. Denise is clearly a babe even when she’s working that ragamuffin style.

The interviewer asked Denise if she regrets signing on to do the show. “No. I actually had so much fun my first season, and I formed genuine friendships. Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Alum Brandi Glanville Claims Denise Richards And Aaron Phypers “Asked Me To Find Chicks For Them”

This season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been crazy. And now that alum Brandi Glanville has dropped the bomb detailing how she hooked up with Denise Richards, it will only get crazier!

RHOBH viewers have known for a long time that Brandi claimed to have had a sexual liaison with Denise, and that Denise and her husband Aaron Phypers have an open relationship. Denise has, of course, denied both claims. Denise also sent cease and desist letters to the RHOBH cast and crew.

Still, watching Brandi explain what happened with Denise to Kyle Richards, Kyle’s sister Kim Richards, and Teddi Mellencamp was strange. The former RHOBH star was very nervous and emotional. Brandi repeated to the ladies all the stuff that Denise had said behind their backs. That group trip to Rome is going to be so awkward!

According to HollywoodLife, Brandi told the ladies that “[Denise] could be with girls if she wanted to. And as long as, you know, it wasn’t with a guy.” She also confessed that, on one occasion, she and Denise did “everything.”

Brandi took to Twitter after this episode aired to reply to a fan who commented that Brandi was “ruining” Denise and Aaron’s marriage by spilling the tea. (Warning-there is some rough grammar ahead) “First off f**k off Im not ruining any marriages!! They are open and asked me to find chicks for them!! Please f**k off,” Brandi wrote. Wow! Now that is extremely uncomfortable if you are Brandi.

Recently, Brandi broke the news that she would not be a part of the RHOBH virtual reunion. Brandi said that she received a call from Bravo production. “We just talked about how I was feeling and how the [Housewives] were feeling and we honestly came to a mutual decision that instead of going to the reunion — as I was set to do — I would sit down separately with Andy [Cohen] and do more of a one-on-one.”

It looks like the Beverly Hills Housewives are split on who they believe. Garcelle Beauvais is Team Denise all the way. Camille Grammer thinks that Brandi is a liar.

Lisa Rinna, Kyle, Erika Jayne,  and Teddi are certainly not on Denise’s team. In fact, Lisa was furious that Brandi won’t be at the reunion. I am not sure if I believe Denise or Brandi. Hopefully, we will get clarity from the reunion and from Brandi’s interview with Andy. Fingers crossed!

During the first two seasons of Real Housewives of Dallas, Cary Deuber, Stephanie Hollman, and Brandi Redmond were a formidable trio. Although, truthfully, it did seem like Cary was third wheeling with the BFF pair.

Then, Cary became friends with LeeAnne Locken, which did not sit well with Brandi. And soon after, Cary lost her full-time spot on the show, only returning for LeeeAnne’s many  wedding events last season. Based on Instagram, it seems like Cary is back in the mix, but it’s unclear if she’s a Real Housewife, a Friend of the Housewives, if she’s just making a cameo appearance, or even if the footage she filmed will actually make the cut for an episode.

Cary answered some questions from fans during a recent Instagram Live session. When she was asked if she and Brandi are still friends, Cary declared, “No, she fucked me over too many times. I’m just done with it.” She also accused Brandi of stooping to a “low level” with the things she’s done to her.

90 Day Fiance Star Colt Johnson’s Mom Debbie Johnson Prefers Larissa Dos Santos Lima Over Jess Caroline

Perhaps some of the most volatile scenes in 90 Day Fiance history have been between Colt Johnson’s mother, Debbie Johnson, and Colt’s ex-wife, Larissa Dos Santos Lima. They seemed to be fighting from the first day Larissa arrived and until the day she moved out. The two ladies of Colt’s life continually battled over the house, Colt, and a clash of personalities.

She explained, “Because Larissa’s evil, but she’s honestly evil”. Debbie elaborated further saying, “I’m not gonna say that, she’s not evil, she’s just … I trust Larissa because I know her and I know what she’s about. Jess is a total mystery to me.” I guess Debbie prefers a familiar “evil” to a new one. It does seem shocking that she can still reflect on any redeeming qualities Larissa may have had, given all of their past history, including Larissa’s domestic violence arrests.

Debbie mentioned that she didn’t think Jess was right for Colt, and thought she might have ulterior motives for the relationship; Reality fame, money and citizenship. Debbie explained, “I think Colt needs to spend a lot of time seeing what’s out there, who’s out there and finding out what he really wants in his life or a partner.”

She likes Jess, but doesn’t feel that the couple’s personalities and interests align, and sees that as something that will be an issue in a committed relationship. Debbie claimed, “I just don’t think that Jess is quite right, because, I think she’s a party person — you’re not”, looking in Colt’s direction. “You don’t like to go out and party every night, whereas she does.” Colt seemed to bring this up himself with Jess in one of the season’s early episodes, as he is much more of a homebody.

Debbie continued, “[Jess] doesn’t really want to commit to a marriage, but she wants a marriage, but she doesn’t want to commit to one. Still trying to figure out what’s going on with her. … They’re so opposite, it’s not a good match.”

Though it seems like Debbie has some valid concerns for her son’s relationship, it does make you wonder if she will ever approve of anyone he is with. One thing is for sure, whoever Colt ends up with, has to be ready to also deal with Debbie, as the two seem to be a package deal.
