Season four of Southern Charm will premiere on April 3rd, but until then, Bravo is sharing a sneak peek video to keep you going until then, and considering that the clip is less than three minutes, there is a whole lot of hot mess to be seen. The new season will be a combination of old, in terms of old habits, and new, like finally a new male cast member on the show, Austen Kroll.
But cast members back for a new season are Landon Clements, Craig Conover, Kathryn Calhoun Dennis, Cameran Eubanks, Shep Rose, and Thomas Ravenel, and if you recall when we last saw our Charleston friends, things were a bit rocky. Thomas and Kathryn are officially uncoupled, and are still trying to find a way to parent Kensie and Saint as platonic partners. The video has Thomas once again making accusations about a drug test, and if the last few days on Twitter are any indication, Kathryn and Thomas have not worked that detail out. (Kathryn says she’s been passing tests consistently, and Thomas says she won’t take one, while Thomas has reportedly decided he doesn’t need to take them at all, despite rumors and accusations).

But while suddenly, Cameran has done a 180 degree turn, and is ready to toss out her birth control, and try for a baby, the bigger news is who is dating whom. Remember how much time was lost at the end of season three, when Kathryn insisted that Thomas and Landon were hooking up, and yet, they denied it? Well, it seems that Kathryn wasn’t paranoid, because for at least part of season four, Thomas and Landon are a couple.

And speaking of couples, Craig and Naomie are still together, at least at the beginning of the season, but that might be short-lived, as there seems to not only be trouble in paradise (it seems Naomie has the nerve to ask the question that everyone has been asking since season one of Southern Charm, which is, are you ever going to actually take the bar, and be a lawyer?). And there is a hint that Craig might be stepping out on Naomie, or at least might be doing a bit of flirting with one of the new “friends” of Southern Charm.
And then there is Shep, and shocker, Shep seems to be in conflict with the new guy in the Holy City, Austen (not afraid of a little competition, are you Sheppy?). And when Shep and Austen are not mixing it up, Shep and Craig are back to jockeying for position with their friends, and with the ladies.
And of course, the whole Charleston crew, plus Danni and Jennifer, will take the show on the road to the Florida Keys for Cameran’s birthday, aka last hurrah before pregnancy, a medical emergency that nobody saw coming strikes the gang. But that’s the thing about Southern Charm, there is never a dull moment.
