Jax Taylor Claims Kristen Doute Cheated On All Her Boyfriends, Sleeping With Kristen Was His Biggest Mistake, & This Will Be His Worst Vanderpump Rules Season Yet
The dynamics of the Vanderpump Rules cast are constantly changing. It’s hard to keep track of who everyone’s friends, enemies, and sexual partners are, but no matter what happens, they all seem to forgive each other eventually- somehow. And then the cycle of confusing friendships continues again.
Season 6 hasn’t even premiered yet, but we should all be on the lookout for some drama between Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute since Jax talked a lot of shit about her in a recent interview.
Jax did not hold back during his appearance on the MEL Conversation podcast. You know what they say about not throwing stones if you live in glass houses. Well, apparently Jax has never heard that expression because he- of all people- decided to call Kristen out for cheating in a relationship. He claimed, “She’s cheated on every boyfriend that she’s had.” Then he said, “I could go off on her, but for once in my life, I’m trying to take the high road.” Spoiler alert: that is not what happened. No high road was completely forgotten in this interview. He took a way juicier route- that’s for sure.
Jax said, “Out of everybody that I ever slept with, she is my one biggest mistake. Not only because it was Tom’s [Sandoval] girlfriend, but she is just so f***ing gross. I don’t know why I did that.” I don’t either, but it was an epic story line.
The man formerly known as Jason Cauchi admitted, “I’m hot and cold with her,” before saying, “She is just such a psycho. She really is a psycho. She’s crazy.” So I guess this is one of those “cold” periods.
When asked if he and Kristen were similar, Jax admitted, “Yeah, absolutely. She’s a compulsive liar and cheater. I’m a cheater, but I don’t lie though. Well, I guess cheating is lying.” Jax doesn’t lie? Since when? Jax is known for lying (and cheating) without even flinching. As a viewer, I absolutely live for Jax and the tall tales that he weaves, but it has to be very difficult being in his social circle.
The Kristen rant wasn’t over through. Jax repeated, “She’s cheated on everyone she’s ever dated.” When asked if that includes her current boyfriend Brian Carter, Jax said, “Everybody.” He continued, ” I’ve done everything she’s done. I don’t have a leg to stand on. I’m not standing here like ‘I’m better than you.’ She’s trying to come off as if she’s trying to better than me. She’s a hypocrite.”
Jax explained, “Everyone on this show has done exactly what I’ve done. They’ve all cheated. They’ve all done stuff wrong. They use their insecurities and take those out on me. Everybody is always on me. No matter what they do, it will be talked about for five minutes. If I cross the street without looking both ways, it’s talked about on the show for four days.” That may be true, but Jax has gotten away with a lot over the years. They all have. Honestly, I’m kind of happy that most of them haven’t learned any lessons because it makes for great TV.
When discussing his spin-off show with girlfriend Brittany Cartwright, Jax admitted, “Vanderpump is not going to be a fun season for sure. If you thought [the spin-off] was bad, I have to deal with twenty weeks of hell.”
Last season, Tom Schwartz and now-wife Katie Maloney were the ones who were really going through it. Up until the actual wedding episode, every event was painful to watch. That joint Bachelor/Bachelorette party was especially difficult. Jax admitted, “I felt so bad for him. He didn’t even sleep in his room the whole time.” He added, “They didn’t even talk the whole time.”I semi-forgot about all of that drama when I was crying while they said their vows, so it will be interesting to see how this next season is for the two of them. Hopefully this one goes a lot better.
Once again, Jax made it clear that it’s going to be a difficult season for him. When talking about his boy Tom Sandoval, Jax admitted, “He usually has my back. I’m probably going to need him big time for the reunion this year. This is probably going to be the worst reunion. Worse than any other reunion. I’m going to have a bad one.”
And then just like that Jax went from talking about how much he values Sandoval as a friend to talking about his relationship with Ariana Madix. He theorized, “I think there’s a lot that goes on behind closed doors that we don’t see and it really pisses me off.” I have to agree with that though. The viewers definitely know the least about that relationship out of all the ones on the show. I (naively) assumed it was because they got along too well to make it into the main story lines. Jax continued, “Picking and choosing what you want to talk about on film really bothers me. That’s not what we signed up for.” Jax is truly laying it all out there- the good, the bad, the ugly, and beyond. And then there’s Tom and Ariana with their braid guy. They are all bringing something to the show, but I can definitely see why Jax would feel slighted.
Then again, should Jax really be criticizing anyone else’s romantic relationship? No one should judge anyone else’s love life, but it does happen- especially when couples share their ups and downs on reality television. Jax admitted, “I’m terrible at relationships. I’ve never been faithful in my life. Ever. I’m just not good. I think I’ve fallen on my old ways.” Does this mean that Jax cheated on Brittany? If that’s the case, then this will definitely be a crazy season for him to endure. Everyone loves Brittany. The cast and viewers would all be furious if that is what happened.
Jax said, “I’ve been the best with Brittany thus far, but I’ve fallen on my old ways. And I somehow always fall into bad habits. I’m just not good.” Come on, Jax. Do. Not. Screw. This. Up. Jax later said, “If I’m going to get married, it will be with Brittany.”
At this point, everyone knows that Jax and Brittany met in Las Vegas, but he shared some additional details about that night: “I flew in early to go on a date. I was with another girl.” How shocking. He revealed, “We were at dinner and I saw Brittany walk by and I was like ‘Oh, I want that.’ The girl went to the bathroom and I saw her talking to Katie and Scheana [Marie] over there and I was like ‘I’m going to take that home’ and I did.” That’s really not the sweetest story, but he did also say, “I fell in love with her. I love everything about her.” Now that is a sweet sentiment.
A lot of Vanderpump Rules viewers hate Jax. A lot of them love Jax. Others follow the lead of his cast mates and go back and forth depending on his latest offense. Nevertheless, everyone needs to recognize that Jax’s antics are what put this show on the map in the first place. Season 1 was essentially the Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder show. Their relationship is what gave the show momentum and helped it become what it is today.
Interestingly enough, Jax almost didn’t do the show. He shared, “I had my truck packed up. I told my dad I was moving home and going to be a firefighter. I said I’m going to leave in two days. Then Lisa [Vanderpump] comes up and is like ‘I have this show idea.'” He added, “She was like ‘Just trust me. I have this show idea. I need you to be on it.'” Thankfully, Jax took Lisa’s advice since she was clearly right about this one. If only he took her advice on other matters…

Kenya Moore Regrets Transphobic Insult Toward Kim Zolciak; Doesn’t Think Kim’s Tweet About Brielle Was Appropriate
It feels like this Real Housewives of Atlanta season truly got started as soon as Kim Zolciak showed up and started arguing with Kenya Moore. Before that, basically nothing happened other than the ladies gossiping about Kenya’s secretive marriage to Marc Daly.
Kim questioned Kenya’s marriage and Kenya came back at her and questioned Kim’s tweet to Chrissy Teigen asking who her daughter Brielle Biermann had to blow to get some John Legend tickets. To say things got out of hand is not enough. These two took their insults to another level. Remind me again about why they actually hate each other. I don’t blame Kim for checking Kenya after she wandered off into the unfinished basement at Chateau Sheree without permission, but this feud just seems so random.
While Kenya was on Watch What Happens Live, Andy polled the viewers to ask if NeNe Leakes was jealous of Kenya and Cynthia Bailey’s friendship. Kenya said, “I don’t know if it’s jealousy. I think NeNe is the type of girl who wants all of her friends to be her friends and she doesn’t want to share, but she can’t have Cynthia all to herself.” For the record, 72% of people polled felt like NeNe was actually jealous.
While Kenya was arguing with Kim she told her, “Why do you have such a hard-on for me? Didn’t they cut it off during your reassignment surgery?” This obviously offended a lot of people. The comment was deemed to be “transphobic.”
Kenya explained, “I think initially I was just going after Kim. I was just throwing the kitchen sink at her. I was just incensed by her remarks toward me and her hatred. I was trying to offend Kim, but definitely didn’t mean to offend anybody else. I could see why someone would be offended by that. Absolutely.” Andy Cohen asked if she regretted saying it and Kenya admitted, “Oh yeah. I never want to offend anybody.”
Kenya wasn’t the only one who has made questionable comments. Kim tweeted Chrissy Teigen, “sooo ur hubby is comin to ATL may 19 & Kash is beyond OBSESSED w him! who does Brielle have to blow in order to meet him?? LOL.” Of course Kenya brought that up in the middle off their argument and accused Kim of “pimping out her daughter.”
Andy read a tweet from Brielle that said “since we’re still talking about me being ‘pimped out’ by my mother for john legends tix- i wrote the tweet and pressed send! we both thought it was funny. it’s a JOKE IM ALMOST 21! classless my ass y’all have no sense of humor.” Kenya said, “Listen, I think if you think that’s a joke, something needs to be said about the way your brain functions.”
Kenya continued, “She said it. She said out to the world ‘Who does Brielle have to blow for John Legend tickets?'” Andy tried to mediate and said, “She was kidding, right?” Kenya responded with, “Who kids about that though? Who kids about pimping their daughter out for concert tickets. That’s not funny. She got a lot of heat for that initially. Clearly America didn’t think it was funny.”
Kenya did have one (sort of) nice thing to say about Kim. When she was asked who she would rather Kim or Phaedra Parks as a cast member, Kenya said, “Oh God. That is a bombshell of a question.” And after some hesitation she said, “I’ll just say Kim.” That’s not exactly a compliment, but at least she didn’t throw around any shade or insults.
Switching topics, Andy asked Kenya, “Are you pregnant? Are you having IVF treatments?” Kenya coyly answered, “We will talk about that when I can talk about that.” So that is probably a hint to keep tabs on Kenya’s social media in case she has something to announce in the near future.
Andy brought up Kenya’s ex Matt Jordan and asked if he still contacts her. Kenya channeled her inner Mariah Carey when she said, “I don’t know who you’re talking about.” Thanks to the constant discussions about Kenya’s marriage, I pretty much forgot about Matt, so that question felt so random.
Speaking of Kenya’s man Marc, one caller asked, “Why are you being so shady about your husband? What do you have to hide?” Kenya said, “I have nothing to hide. My husband is a former investment banker. He’s an MBA. He’s an amazing husband and we’re out all the time. I have nothing to hide.” Andy added, “The fact is he doesn’t want to participate in the show.” And then Kenya shared, “I think initially he was concerned and there were a lot of things we had to work out between us. We are in a different place right now.” She also mentioned that her dad “really likes him.”

Danielle Staub Thinks Siggy Flicker & Dolores Intentionally Hurt Teresa Giudice & Melissa Gorga By Walking In The Posche Fashion Show
The drama escalated during the last episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Kim D made a cameo appearance to trash Teresa Giudice and promote her fashion show. The Teresa we used to know returned and she was screaming in a restaurant and chucking a glass. Just like old times!
Teresa couldn’t believe that Kim D was trashing her marriage (even though it’s a #TotalKimDMove) and she was miffed that Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker agreed to walk in the Posche fashion show. Now Teresa’s former nemesis-turned-bestie Danielle Staub has a lot to say about that and she’s calling out Siggy and Dolores on behalf of her girl Tre.
In an interview with toofab, Danielle admitted, “I was in shock! Complete shock. That they just bring it up so matter of fact that they’re walking in the fashion show.” She even said, “It felt like they were intentionally using their platform to hurt Teresa and Melissa [Gorga].” I highly doubt that. Anyone who wants to stay on this show knows better than to intentionally hurt Teresa. She is the queen of this show. It’s not like they could have just dropped out after people paid for tickets to see them and to support families whose loved ones were burned to death in a car. That wouldn’t have been right either. Nonetheless, the bigger issue here is the fact that they are friends with the eternal RHONJ nemesis Kim D, but that’s a very complicated issue. As a human being, I can see why Melissa and Teresa are irked by Kim. As a viewer, I will always be entertained by Kim D’s desperate shit stirring.
When asked about Teresa apologizing to Danielle’s daughters about everything that went down during the first two seasons of the show, Danielle said, “You’ll have to wait and see in the episodes coming up, but I can say this — everyone has begun the healing process.” We already saw it in the preview for the rest of the season. Teresa sits down with Danielle and her daughter to apologize. There is absolutely no suspense there. It happened.
Now that Danielle is the captain of #TeamTeresa, her biggest story line so far about a comment that Dolores supposedly made about Teresa “only caring about money.” Danielle said, “It’s unacceptable for a stranger to come to me, and I felt like she was trying to put a wedge between Teresa and I. The reasons she said it are a lot less important than the reasons she is denying it. I think everyone will see who is who by this season’s end.”
I just want to know why the camera crew wasn’t there to capture this conversation. I hate when the good stuff happens off camera. It’s very reminiscent of RHOBH Season 1 which centered around a comment that Kyle Richards made to Camille Grammer off camera about going to Hawaii for spring break without her husband. If that scene was filmed, it would have been a whole different season. If Danielle has proof, I want to see it. I’m over hearing the same conversation over and over again without any receipts. Let’s hope Danielle brought some evidence to the reunion. Otherwise, I don’t want to hear about this ever again. Let’s argue about something new.
Danielle and Dolores haven’t got along this entire season so it was only a matter of time before their beef included Siggy and Margaret Josephs via transference. Danielle was not at all pleased to see Margaret and Siggy getting along at that retreat and she made sure that everyone knew how she felt about that and warned Margaret.
Danielle explained, “Because we were going to the retreat, and all of a sudden she was wanting to cuddle with Margaret. I found it suspect. We get there, and all she did was talk about how Margaret affected her. She did to Margaret what she did to Melissa, only Melissa was at her home and Margaret was at a retreat. She uses her moment to continue to drive her point home. It’s only convenient for her at that moment. And when she’s done driving her point home, she is mad at the person again.”

NeNe Leakes‘ husband Gregg is having serious health problems, and Kenya Moore‘s grandmother – who raised her! – just died, yet they’re all OK, let’s ditch everything to go party in San Francisco because Sheree Whitfield‘s life coach decided she needs some ME TIME. So, let Sheree take that ME without YOU time – y’all have other things going on!
So Sheree’s ‘doctor’s note’ means she decided to become a life coach herself and stage a rejuvenation from drama bonding trip. Remember how well that worked for Phaedra Parks?! Excuse me, but didn’t NeNe and Kenya actually hate Sheree like 15 minutes ago? Also, why San Francisco? Is there some secret prisoner’s girlfriend seminar happening?
Oh yes, Sheree also revealed that she’s secretly been dating Tyrone. Tyrone from the “get your teef fixed; Trump Checks = Real MONEY” fight NeNe and Sheree had oh-so many years ago when I enjoyed this show. The same Tyrone associated with the the job Sheree accused NeNe of trying to steal from her, well, now he’s Sheree’s man. Kinda. It turns out Tyrone is actually incarcerated, which is a nice way of saying he’s gone away and is no longer available for sexual services rendered.
Sheree has been keeping her own bones well-buried, but good ol’ Kenya, who pines for her husband while stalking the blogs for news about their marriage, unearthed them and carried them in between her teeth until just the perfect moment. I suppose I should back up, though, shouldn’t I? Because, before this all happened, we were at NENE’s NEVER FORGET YOUR MANNERS OVER MOSCOW MULES party where Kim Zolciak foamed at the mouth and was forcibly removed from said party. By Kroy. What is this dude – always waiting in the wings to ‘rescue’ Kim from her own poor decisions. Once an NFL lineman, always a NFL lineman in spirit. And still wearing the same jeans from 2005 when Kim fell in love with his ass and spawned her own football team. A football team which Kenya has accused Kim of pimping out for John Legend tickets for her injured son.
While Kim was flailing in Kenya’s direction, Kenya called on her trusty SECURITY! (She hired Kroy?) to take this gender reassigned Kim out of the party for trashing NeNe “this nice lady”‘s house. Yes, Kenya also went there and referred to NeNe as a nice lady. HA. Reeeeaaaaaaaaaccccchhhhinnnngg stretch wrong-strong. Also, wasn’t this a girls and gays party, yet Kenya is there insulting the transgender community, while lecturing others on how to have manners. Mmkay.
Krayonce hits way, way below the belt. Although it did stem from a totally inappropriate and gross tweet – although clearly joking – that Kim made to Chrissy Teigan asking whose d–k Brielle would need to suck to score some John Legend tickets because injured Kash was such a huge fan. As NeNe, your 90 year old auntie who just discovered the miracles of modern technology pointed out, she has listened to his music “on the iPod” and it ain’t worth going all Kris Jenner on your daughters.
Of course, Kim was just chomping at the bit to poke the Krayonce by calling her marriage fake, and since Kenya apparently has a scrap book of everyone in ATL’s wrongs, she went right ahead and referenced this little tweet Kim wrote.
However, don’t mess with wigs and her spawn, y’all! She will pop up and throw a tantrum until her husband puts her in timeout in NeNe’s garage. Outside, Kim begs Kroy to let her go back inside for another sniff of Krayonce then cries to NeNe that Kenya talking about her kids is SO mean! Inside, poor Cynthia Bailey is ever-so-gently trying to explain to Kenya that she doesn’t have to go ‘all the way there’ and insult people’s parenting.
I have to admit I was concerned that Kim’s too-tight, lace-up dress would burst, but it all stayed intact thanks to the prodigious wonders of body tape. So then Kim, with Sheree in tow, trooped off over the mountain and through the woods, and to Porsha Williams‘s house they go! Porsha is just there playing with her wigs and drinking Hennessy, so Kim and Sheree feel right at home as they regale their faceless faux Farrah’s and Cinncinati’s about how horrible Kenya is! Porsha knows from experience that from now on Kenya will label Kim as crazy, angry, untrustworthy. Porsha is correct; Kenya will never let it go EV-ER, but then again, does Porsha realize Kim provoked Kenya?
Kenya does in fact label Kim all those things, but NeNe is rolls her eyes with annoyance. She so does not care about how Brielle was mean to Kenya, and then Kenya, who would NEVER go after someone’s child, had to set someone’s mama straight. Instead NeNe cares about how Cynthia has become Mayor of Kenyatown and actually declared that Kenya deserves praise for how well-behaved she was during NeNe’s party until Kim provoked her. Something in the love and light ain’t clean… and NeNe is not happy because Cynthia is supposed to be HER blind supporter!
After all this, Sheree decides the perfect solution is to invite the girls to San Francisco. No one’s really sure why San Fran. I assume she got a good deal on an last-minute flights. Or the tourism department wanted some PR for part of California that’s actually not infested with Kardashians, and offered to put them up someplace nice.
But first, Sheree visits the The Kandi Factory to regale Kandi Burruss with everything she missed while she was doing her Essence Magazine photo shoot. Why do I feel like Kandi is sort of The Godfather and Sheree was paying her respect to the keeper of the drama?
Kandi realizes that any bones dropped out of Sheree’s mouth may not be top choice beef – for instance, Sheree’s not really sure if Kenya made a comment about Kim’s injured son, but Kim claims it happened, so Sheree will repeat it just in case. Now the conundrum is that she’s invited both Kenya and Kim on the trip and what’s a girl to do?! Kim wisely decided to stay home and pretend to parent her six kids.
Kandi is feeling badly that she barely sees her children, and almost picked up someone else’s kid in the supermarket the other day because she forgot what Ace looks like, but I mean it’s not like she’s gonna miss the opportunity to watch WWF Fighting Live From San Fran!
Kenya decides to take a break from mourning her grandmother’s passing by taking her puppy-children on a little trip to help them overcome their loss. Then they’re all gonna jaunt off to the funeral where Krayonce Productions will be hosting a video tribute to her grandmother. I feel really sad for Kenya. Her grandmother raised her, but as Kenya mentioned, at least she got to meet Marc (which is more than I can say for the rest of us.). She believes her grandmother was waiting to pass until Kenya found true love, which is a very sweet sentiment. TEAR. RIP Grandma Moore.
NeNe has gotten the all-clear from Gregg that she can leave him in the care of their teenaged son and microscopic dog, who will clearly be able to manage his nine different heart medications.
Since Cynthia is all up Krayonce’s possibly fake butt and Porsha told her “THE DOOR IS CLOSED,” NeNe needs a friend and invites her sometimes frenemy Marlo Hampton. Why is Marlo always lurking around? Is she Kroy now? NeNe decides not to tell anyone Marlo is stowing away in her suitcase, but when Marlo appears over dinner, like the prize in a Happy Meal no one wants, the ladies aren’t surprised. After all, Marlo will go where no other woman dares to go – unless she’s Danielle Staub who is also desperate for her own tagline!
NeNe is not feeling any of the girls who don’t consider her Bravo’s personal Jesus and the guardian angel of all Housewives in peril. The problem is that NeNe believes she can make or break a Housewife and is salty that her attempts to have Porsha pushed off the show didn’t work. Now she’s pretending she did no such thing. But the woman who has no idea how many days are in a calendar year, can see the writing on the wall. Porsha sometimes puts on her thinking wig, y’all!
On the day of the trip, Kandi is stuck waiting awkwardly at the airport with Porsha while they wait eons for Kenya and NeNe. Why did Kandi have to be on time for once?! Kandi is not interested in having any sort of fake interaction with Porsha, who appears to just want to pretend the past – the past where Porsha accused Kandi of trying to drug and rape her – was last year’s look, y’all. This year’s look is shiny, happy, successful Porsha! Of course, that doesn’t mean Kandi’s gonna refrain from making snarky comments under her breath and mutters that she wishes they could leave Porsha at the airport.
The ride from the airport to the hotel starts with a friendly game of when was the last time you had sex. This seems like a thinly-veiled excuse for Kenya to confront Sheree on her super-secret prison man. What a nice gift for the hostess!
Surprisingly, Sheree, who is usually a locked vault about her real life, admits she’s in love and that, yes, Tyrone is locked up – something to do with financial schemes. I dunno you guys – doesn’t Sheree have enough issues with money?! Also, I thought Sheree liked things that are elegant and sophisticated? Like white collar criminals!
Thankfully, when they reach the hotel, we’re spared any gushing and grasping over room reveals, because the real reveal is Marlo. Wearing a negligee with bunny ears. To dinner. I’m guessing that’s what all the Playboy bunnies wore to Hef’s funeral? Even NeNe tries to talk her out of the preposterous get-up. The New NeNe who is all about FASH-SHUN, all thanks to Marlo’s influence, and now the mentee is outshining her teacher. (HA!).
In direct contrast, Sheree wore a sweatsuit to dinner! She is letting it all hang out this season, isn’t she?! It doesn’t really matter who wore what, though, because before appetizers are even ordered, NeNe and Porsha were fighting over why Posha doesn’t appreciate all the things NeNe has done for her. All the things like announce on national TV that Porsha should be fired. Which NeNe completely denies happened and then accuses Porsha of constantly trash-talking her on Dish Nation (a clip from Dish Nation reveals that Porsha merely said she doesn’t have time for unsupportive people). NeNe keeps insisting Porsha said she called people to have her fired, but Porsha just keeps bringing up that ill-fated WWHL appearance that NeNe NEVER REMEMBERED happened.
The most shocking part of all this is not that NeNe, with her bun slopping off her head like a melted cinnamon roll, tried to rewrite history as if this isn’t a reality show with cameras recording her life, but that Porsha stayed completely calm as NeNe went all Kim Z and needed to be restrained by Marlo and Cynthia. And who said anger management isn’t working?! It worked so well, Porsha gave NeNe a referral.
Kenya tried to defend NeNe as the only one who stood by Porsha after she completely and without reason assaulted Kenya at that reunion so long ago, but the door was CLOSED on reasoning with NeNe Leakes.
NeNe does need anger management. Porsha knows a guy.

90 Day Fiance Recap: Wake Up Call
Attention Morocco! Attention Morocco! Nicole is leaving! And taking your entire GDP of french fries and chicken fingers with her. This week on 90 Day Fiance, Azan must decide whether he can continue pretending to be in a relationship with Nicole as she and May depart for home. Meanwhile, David drags Annie to Kentucky which in most abduction circles is known as “the second location.”
Molly tries for the hundredth time to turn her houseboy into a husband (and stepfather), but Luis isn’t interested. Elizabeth and Andrei change up their wedding plans to further anger her family, Josh admits to Aika that he’s had a vasectomy, and Evelyn tries to talk about S-E-X with David. Spoiler alert: It does not go well. As in, middle-school-health-class bad. Evelyn also takes a trip to the most depressing underwear store you’ve ever seen in your life, which was of course the MAJOR highlight of my night!
The fun begins in Georgia, where Molly and Luis are waking up the day after their bachelor/bachelorette parties. Well, Molly is waking up. It’s apparently still Luis’s “day off.” With 15 days to wed, Molly fills out wedding invitations then wakes her fair prince up. Luis is unconcerned with wedding plans. He just wants to keep dreaming about the only fun place he’s seen in the states so far: the strip club. “I had so much fun! The girl danced on me,” muses Luis of his one day not on stepfather duty. “I need a break,” he tells Molly, but Molly didn’t bring him over to make it rain in the clubs. He needs to go grab the pooper scooper and get to work!
In LA, David and Annie are heading out to lunch with Chris and Nikki, who are about to receive an apology. Temporarily sober David tells them he’s sorry for “what happened” the other night, taking no direct responsibility for his actions. Nikki wonders why he didn’t apologize before now? Then she straight up asks if he has a drinking problem. Meanly-mouthed David just mumbles around the topic, not admitting he has a problem – even though Annie sees it that way. Nikki is not new here, so she has no patience for David’s empty apologies and justifications. She and her brother, Antonio, are the only sane people on the scene. Also – Nikki is way too gorgeous to be on this show. She is classing the joint up waaaaay too much.
So, now David says he’ll prove he’s a changed man by not drinking until the wedding. With 80+ days to go, Nikki is not convinced it’s even possible. But she’ll be happy to feed and house Annie when they kick David’s loser carcass to the curb. They’ll even give him his cardboard sign back before they drop him at the freeway.
In Florida, Andrrrrreeeeeiiii goes to the driving range with Elizabeth’s dad. There’s more hazing to be done, so why not do it over a sport that’s completely foreign to the new guy? Pshhhht. Andrei learns all about how to swing a golf club rather than a caveman club while Elizabeth’s dad reminds him how important it is to “provide” for his daughter. He wants Andrei to remember that Libby’s sisters all married guys who earn good livings, so he needs to measure up. Andrei reminds him that he’s ten years younger than those jokers, so as Dorinda Medley would say, back that sh*t up! And back it up fast! Bottom line: This guy is a real a$$hole.
But Andrei’s tone does not sit well with Father Elizabeth. He’s also upset that Andrei didn’t ask his permission before proposing. But Andrei admits that maybe he didn’t make the right move there, but bah! It’s done. He might want to rethink this cavalier attitude, however, when Libby’s dad says he won’t be contributing one red cent to their wedding costs. Hmm. Andrei plays it cool now, but something tells me Elizabeth’s lipstick is gonna melt right off her face when she hears this news.
In NH, Evelyn is playing guitar. And the whole world is shoving cotton in its ears in anticipation of her singing along. Oh, good! She’s stopped by her mom, who wants to have a heart to heart about the carnal desires of the flesh. It’s time for Evelyn, who is 18 years of age, to find out how penises and vaginas work. Thank god TLC cameras are here to capture it. Evelyn is all, Eww! Getting naked is creepy!!! Even after her mom talks to her like the tweeny-bopper she is, calmly explaining that it’s “natural” and “beautiful,” Evelyn just giggles idiotically. In disturbing news, Evelyn says that David’s even more closed off about discussing sex than she is. Whelp, one thing is certain: This wedding night is gonna suuuuuuuuuuuuck. And it couldn’t happen to two more awful people.
Speaking of awful people, let’s check in with Nicole! After emotionally/verbally/physically assaulting Azan and repeatedly cheating on him, she wonders why he doesn’t like her anymore? She’s quick, this one. Azan (finally!) wonders WTF he’s even doing with this garbage person? He’s counting the minutes until she boards the plane home. Before that happens, Nicole is forcing him to talk to her one more time.
Azan has still been ignoring her, according to Nicole, and she just wants to know why. Though he doesn’t admit it, Azan has shut down because he’s done with this chick. Plus, he doesn’t want to get his jaw broken today. There is no way he’s heading to the U.S. now, especially without the protection of his aunt and her scary sheep head to ward off Nicole’s rage! But Nicole still holds out hope that he’ll change his mind and, once she “shows him how good she can be,” he’ll come. In the end, Azan agrees to work on it. Aww, man! SO CLOSE TO FREEDOM!
Back in LA, Nikki is taking Annie for a girl’s night out before she is dragged to David’s hovel in Kentucky. If he even has a hovel? Maybe a tunnel pre-furnished with trashcan fire? Anyway, Nikki makes sure Annie has a good last meal before the true nightmare begins. She knows Annie will be miserable there, but doesn’t want to say too much. Plus, living anywhere with David is going to be its own special hell.
When Nikki spills ALL the tea about David asking Chris for money – even for Annie’s jewelry and engagement party! – Annie looks crestfallen. I mean, she knew this guy was broke. But HOBO broke? David even has Chris as a co-sponsor for Annie’s K1 Visa, so Chris and Nikki are responsible for Annie for ten years. Essentially, David is a 48-year old Nicole. Nikki thinks these red flags are frightening, and is shocked to learn that she and Chris are responsible for Annie – but Annie just shrugs it all off. She’s not getting off this crazy train, despite the alarms.
Evelyn and her long suffering friend, Mikayla, go shopping at the absolute most depressing lingerie store Claremont has to offer. Please see tragic gray item hanging behind Mikayla’s head above as evidence, article A. I’d compare it to Walmart (circa 1995), but that would be too generous. Nay, we shall instead compare it to Hills, a discount junk store in the ‘80s that a very select few of you living in the southern PA area might be familiar with. I used to buy my Bonnie Bell lip gloss there on the regular and they had killer sales on Rave hairspray. Think: Grandma’s source for girdles and mom’s source for off-brand crockpots. This, my friends, is Evelyn’s sexytimes store.

Mikayla – or Peppermint Patty, as she’ll henceforth be named – helps Sir Evelyn out with her search. She’s excited to buy matching beige bras and full-coverage underwear that will be “used for a specific purpose” – SEX! But when Evelyn also chooses a scandalous black thong from the racks of gently used Lycra, Pep. Patty is all, Sir, you know that’s a thong, right? The small part goes in the back! It’s just too much for these home schooled family band types.
Despite Mikayla’s shock at Evelyn’s scandalous choice of maroon pool-cover-up-neglige, she tries to support her friend. Evelyn admits she’s nervous about “revealing everything about who I am!” She’s already revealed how much of an insufferable wench she is, but her bedroom behavior is still a mystery. David doesn’t want to talk about it though, so a mystery it will remain!
Again, I’ll venture a guess that their first night together will involve a lot of bossing each other around, calling one another elitists, and Evelyn reminding David that he’s having sex in AMERICA now! Fun fact: It will be horrendous.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth and Andrei are out for a walk. They chat about finances, which Libby’s father will not be helping out with. Andrei is suddenly very concerned now. He can’t work yet, so money is tight. But if they get married quickly, he can work sooner, so he wants to get on it. But – but – but!! Elizabeth isn’t going to get her dream wedding – which is in the snow on top of a mountain, arriving in a white horse and carriage. So, Elizabeth is basically Cinderella crossed with Elsa crossed with a thumb. But she’s marrying Count Dracula, not prince Charming, so she agrees to throw her dreams away. She’s in looooooooove! Her family will sh*t a brick, no doubt. And as we know, this will be a fun bonus for Elizabeth.
It’s time for David’s reckoning with Nikki, who is pissed about the 10-year clause in Annie’s visa. Chris didn’t tell her the whole truth, which actually makes him the bad guy (why is this amazing woman with that schlub anyway?!?). But now Nikki is in damage control mode. She wants to make sure that David’s dumb a$$ gets a job – NOW. She’s all, Get thee to Kentucky and GET TO WORK!
Why is he even in California “on vacation” anyway? David blames Chris, who invited him, rather than himself, who’s a Loser with a capital L. I’m just left wondering two things: 1) What nasty blackmail does David have on Chris? And 2) Is it necessary for David to wear this amount of gold jewelry with his prison scrubs? “You’re not gonna be getting handouts,” barks Nikki. “That’s done.” Chris has faith that his “best friend” will come through in the end, but Nikki (like the rest of the planet) decidedly does not. David needs to book his mule back to KY ASAP.
As Nicole prepares to leave Morocco, she calls her mom to complain about Azan. Mom reminds Nicole that they’re not ready for marriage, especially if they’re fighting all of the time – and if Azan isn’t “ready to be a dad.” Oh, please! Maybe the relationship is just doomed because Nicole is…Nicole. Whether they’ll pursue the K1 visa is still a question mark, but obviously Nicole’s mom hopes like hell it won’t happen – for many reasons.
Moving from one depressing scene to the next, we’re transported back to Atlanta, where Luis and Molly are playing happy family as they take the kids out for ice cream. With the wedding right around the corner, Molly is hoping her plan to make a 28-year old bartender into insta-daddy pans out. Because she is sweet, but tragically delusional. “You need to learn about how to fix a child!” yells Molly when Kensley spills her ice cream. “It’s your kid,” responds Luis, who didn’t sign up for this sh*t. He thinks Molly’s kids are rude and poorly behaved. But when he starts literally mimicking Kensley back to her face then encouraging her to break things, he shows us just who the rude and poorly behaved person is.
Okay, I just need to say it: I OFFICIALLY HATE LUIS. This guy sets off an alarms in my mama bear parts every time he interacts with Molly’s kids. He is immature and selfish and way too new in this family to cross the boundaries he does. This is all, of course, Molly’s fault for allowing him to do it. So, I guess I hate her too. UGGGGGGHHHHH. Not cool, TLC. NOT COOL! (Also, if you’ve checked out the podcast Dirty John – which is amazing! – you might be with me when I say I’d like to see Olivia pull a zombie-revenge move on Luis in the end if he does turn out to be as dangerous as I suspect.)
“You have to be the adult,” chides Molly. But Luis just laughs, knowing he’s got the upper hand here. She’s smitten with him and, sadly, handing him all the power because of it. It’s gross.
As Elizabeth plans her rushed wedding to Andrei, she ropes her mom and sisters into wedding dress shopping. They’re not on board with this quickie-wedding, but the young couple feels as if they have no choice. They’re getting married in two weeks, and that’s that. Libby’s mom, Pamela, is good-natured about helping her daughter choose a dress even if she isn’t thrilled about who she’ll get married to in it. The sisters agree, feeling powerless over the situation.
On a walk with his aunt, Azan asks for advice. Should he go to America? Should he marry Nicole? As primary witness to their fighting, she thinks no. They don’t respect each other, let alone like each other. And living with them for two months as been hell – so why extend it? Azan’s aunt married a foreigner who came to Morocco, adopted her culture, and lived happily with her until he passed away. She doesn’t foresee the same story for Azan, who can barely escape being body slammed in doorways by his betrothed. It doesn’t matter, because Azan seems determined to human-traffic himself to Florida anyway. WHY?
Josh and Aika, our afterthought couple, are still in AZ arguing – now about babies instead of rings. But Josh not only got all of his upper teeth removed, he also had a vasectomy. But Aika wants kids NOW. She doesn’t want to wait until she’s forty to be a mom, and alludes to Josh promising her children as part of their contract. Josh backtracks now, saying he never promised kids “right away.” But didn’t he know he was marrying a woman in her mid to upper thirties? His Peter Pan syndrome is of no interest to Aika, who wants him to just shut up and give her what he promised. She’s holding up her end of the bargain (being arm candy), so he needs to cough up the $15k to get the procedure. “Don’t make me beg for it,” says Aika. “Actions peak louder than words.”
As the episode winds down, we see David and Annie pack up for KY. David still has that little matter of telling his kids he’s engaged to clear up! But otherwise, good times. Annie is freaked out about leaving Chris and Nikki, who are basically David’s parents. But when they land in Louisville, Annie is shocked to see the countryside. “It’s very different,” she sighs. But she ain’t seen nothin’ yet! Because next they pull up to the abandoned firehouse where she’ll be living for the foreseeable future. Within its gloomy walls is an apartment that Chris has obviously allowed them to live in rent-free. David, who is literally one baht away from homelessness, chirps, “Well, it’s better than living on the street!” #FreeAnnie
After we see Andrei and Elizabeth choose a wedding venue in FL (it’s beautiful, it’s affordable), she tells him about her sisters planning her demise at the bachelorette party. “That’s trash,” says Andrei when Libby throws ALL of her sisters under the bus, confessing they want to “test” him. Thus once again, this chick has driven another wedge between her fiance and her family – and she’ll blame everyone but herself when it all explodes in her face. But when immature idiot need attention, no one is safe!
You know TLC is trolling us because we end last night’s episode with Evelyn, who is trying to “meet David’s cooking expectations” in their new apartment. Wait – they have an apartment?! Or is this the pastor’s pad? I am so confused. Anyway, Evelyn is fully prepared to hand-microwave a cheese quesadilla for David to show her love. David is amused by Evelyn’s apron and onion frying skills, but he is NOT amused when the topic of “intimacy” comes up. Whether it’s the cameras, or it’s just Evelyn herself, David is not okay with discussing this stuff – EVER. He suggests Evelyn talk to her pastor about sex if she has questions. Bwahahahaha!
Oh, this is too good. When Evelyn presses, David actually gets up to leave. He’s sweating, he’s spazzing out – he DOES NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT! Claiming he’s a conservative guy, David finally just shuts Evelyn down – apron and all. If she wants to get intimate with someone, I guess she’s always got that quesadilla…(?) But David, bro – for real?!? Hmm. Maybe the 27-year old virgin thing isn’t a hoax after all. Because my man here has some deep, deep issues (other than marrying Evelyn).
