Big Brother News: Celebrity Version Announced-Here’s What We Know So Far

At the end of this week’s huge Big Brother 19 double eviction, host Julie Chen announced that coming in the winter…Celebrity Big Brother! Currently, CBS network is just in the planning stages, so not much is known. However, the Hollywood Reporter had an exclusive interview with Executive Producers Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan, and Julie to discuss the upcoming season.

They shared their hopes, expectations, and plans for this Big Brother North American first. As many Big Brother super fans know, the UK version of Big Brother airs their own celebrity editions twice a year. The first one airs during the summer/early fall, and then the second one airs in the winter. This edition usually includes a few American celebrities that play alongside with European celebs. A few of the American celebrities that have appeared  are Gary Busey, Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard, Frankie Grande, and Perez Hilton.

In the Hollywood Reporter interview, Chen mentioned that back in season 2, they considered a celebrity edition but it fell apart. She said the reason it works now is that the ratings have been the highest they’ve been in years. Therefore, it feels like a profitable investment. They don’t know if there will be a celebrity edition every winter, but if it does well, they’ll explore the option to air more celebrity versions.

Right now, no date was confirmed, but  it will air in 2018. This most likely means it’ll start in late January or early February. Like the UK version, the American one will be shorter than the civilian edition. In the UK, it only airs for three to four weeks. CBS may try to push this one a little longer, but probably no more than 60 days.

To not overlap with Big Brother Canada 6, we expect the celebrity version to end before that one, which usually starts in early spring. Meehan and Grodner want the celebrity edition to feel like authentic Big Brother, but have it’s own sets of twists and events.

The producers and Chen were realistic about casting. They know they won’t get the latest big celebrities, but they’re hoping to get people who can use it to reinvent their career. They mentioned how well Dancing with the Stars does with casting its stars. Their main goal is to find people who are fun to watch, and adding celebrity fans is even more of a perk. Meehan and Grodner didn’t rule out the possibilities of having some former Big Brother players also appear in the cast.

One of the main reveals from the interview was that the celebrity Big Brother version will have live feeds, which will be available 24-7. Unlike Big Brother Over the Top, the episodes will also air on CBS a few nights a week.

The producers and host said that they were still at the beginning stages of planning out the series, so they’re not sure how it will all look and turn out, but they’re excited about it. We are as well.

Who Was Evicted on Big Brother Last Night? 9/07/17

Tonight is the day Big Brother fans anticipate with glee, and houseguests fear and regret: we have reached our second Big Brother 19 double eviction. By the end of the hour, two houseguests will walk out those doors and into the jury house. Maybe completely fine with the results, maybe not at all.

Depending on this week’s outcome, we could see a bitter juror joining the other evicted Big Brother 19 houseguests. The current Big Brother 19 plan is to evict Jason Dent. Paul Abrahamian and his minions have made sure to keep Jason and his closest ally, Alex Ow, completely in the dark going into the eviction.

So far, they have succeeded. Jason has no clue that the Big Brother 19 house has plotted all week to evict him over Kevin Schlehuber. Additionally, Alex has no clue that she is the next person on the chopping block. If everything goes according to the Misfits’ plan, Jason leaves at the start of the night, followed by Alex.

However, Alex has a lot of competitive prowess. We could easily see her ruining the plan, as Mark Jansen did last Big Brother 19 double eviction, by winning either the Power of Veto or the Head of Household competition.

Then who leaves really depends on how the rest of the night unfolds.

Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Double Eviction Results (09-07-17)

Tonight is the most intense Big Brother 19 episode yet. Last double eviction kind of came and went without much damage. Cody Nickson predictably left the Big Brother game, followed by Elena Davies. It was all according to Paul Abrahamian’s Big Brother 19 plan. This double eviction might go a little differently.

Paul has been playing with fire this week. He wants to have everything without really compromising for other players. His my way or no way attitude has made players like Josh Martinez question his true allegiance.

If everything goes according to plan, Paul will escape this week blood free. However, he doesn’t realize that all his dirty deeds may come out in the Big Brother 19 jury house.

Horse Rescue Has Kept Kim Richards Sober And She’s Happier Than Ever

 

It has been a rough – and very public – battle for Kim Richards, but she’s found her way back home on horseback. While dislike Kim’s behavior on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills – sober or not – I am beyond proud of her for committing to a healthy and alcohol-free life and using animal rescue in the process. Just as long as there’s no blue bunnies or Kingsleys which need rescuing, right?

It’s been more than a year since Kim got sober and her regular volunteering at Skydog Ranch, a non-profit devoted to horse sanctuary, has helped her recovery “a lot.” Kim’s work there a has been a “major part” of maintaining her focus. “The horses make me feel so good. I feel like I’m a part of something so huge and I know I’m making a difference,” she describes. “The Sanctuary keeps me grounded and keeps me at peace and it’s healthy for me.”

Skydog helped Kim see the “big picture of what’s happening,” and every time she leaves, the former RHOBH star “can’t wait to come back.” That’s wonderful – go Kim.

Skydog owner Clare Staples is also mentoring Kim and gushes that she’s “so invested” in their work. “She’s always thinking of how to fundraise and ways to promote,” adds Clare. “She has a family and a new grandson and plenty of other things that she could be out doing instead of coming here and scooping up horse poop.”

Kim’s family is more than supportive and will be participating in an upcoming fundraiser Kim is planning. Since Lisa Vanderpump also owns a horse (not just minis!) loves riding, and is super passionate about animal rescue I predict we’ll see her visiting Skydog and that Kim’s event will be featured on the upcoming season of RHOBH.

And according to Kim she’s no longer the drama-causing Rambles we’ve seen on RHOBH. “This new lifestyle of mine does not fit in with the old lifestyle,” she laughs. “Honestly, my sobriety kind of came with it – with spending so much time here. It just happened naturally.”

Kim explains, “I found something healthy and beautiful to put myself in to, which doesn’t leave much room for the negative stuff.” I wonder if Lisa Rinna has lots and lots and lots (and lots) to say about this? Hey, so long as it’s positive somethings, right?!

In working with horses Kim believes like she’s finally found herself. “There is something about it and it gives me self-confidence and self-worth because sometimes people lose themselves and coming here gives me that self-confidence and self-worth that for a long time I thought I lost,” she tells E! News. “Going through sobriety and being a part of this gives you back a huge piece of who you are. I’ve been given back that piece and I am Kim now.”

“I feel complete,” Kim admits. “I really do. Between my children, my friends, my grandson, my life here, I just feel very blessed and very grateful.”

This is night and day from the Kim we watched on the infamous Dr. Phil meltdown. I am truly happy for Kim, and thrilled that she’s found peace and contentment. This is wonderful news to report.

Also, I hope Kim’s stance about avoiding negativity prevents her from returning to RHOBH. Not because of my personal preferences, but because she sounds so happy and healthy that I would hate for her to return to a negative environment and jeopardize all the progress she’s made. That said, I would LOVE a cameo from Kim at Skydog to see her work and get a glimpse of this amazing organization in action!

Kelly Dodd Thinks Meghan Edmonds Is “Thirsty To Keep The Feud Going” On RHOC

What is going on with Meghan Edmonds this season on Real Housewives of Orange County? She is not letting anything go. Every time it seems like something is resolved, Meghan brings it back up again. She even went right from having lunch with Vicki Gunvalson to calling up Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador with a summary in the last episode. In short, she is really stirring it up. Or is she just being a good friend to Tamra and Shannon?

Part of me really appreciates that because there is nothing else going on this season and at least she’s actually interacting with every cast member instead of refusing to film with them…unlike some people. On the other hand, this is all unnecessary drama and straight up child’s play in comparison to the story lines of the past. Yes, Kelly Dodd took things to a hostile place (yet again) by mentioning Meghan’s baby during the last episode, but it can also be argued that Meghan was the bigger shit stirrer that episode.

I never thought I would think this, but Kelly is the person who’s holding this show together at this point. She is socializing with everyone in the cast. She is offending people left and right with GIF-worthy insults. And then in the biggest twist of all, she actually started getting along with Shannon and this show was enjoyable to watch. And then it all fell to shit when Kelly suspected that Shannon was recording their conversation.

Kelly discussed the last episode in her Bravo blog. She admitted, “Shannon is one of the funniest people I know and sure enough we had a great time together at Muldoons.” And then she explained her side of the drama: “At one point, I don’t remember what we were talking about, but I noticed Shannon’s phone was running the microphone app, i.e., she was recording our conversation! I was too shocked to confront her at the time, but I know with certainty, what I saw on her phone. Given our history, at Shannon’s ’70s party and after her attempt to get me drunk Ireland, I assumed the worst. What reason could she possibly have to record our conversation? Given our nascent friendship, I don’t fully trust Shannon. I left Muldoons a little confused, but after thinking about being recorded, I woke up the next day more suspicious than ever.”

And then Meghan got involved. Kelly wrote, “Is Meghan a shit disturber? A thirsty rumor-monger? As Diko [Sulahian] says, does a bear shit in the woods?” Clearly the bond that these two once had is long gone and I don’t think Meghan knows what she got herself into. Can Meghan actually handle having Kelly as an enemy?

Kelly recalled, “First Meghan goes behind my back by calling Shannon and telling her what I said about Shannon recording me. Then, she has lunch with Vicki, during which she is hell bent on reopening old wounds by discussing Vicki’s accusation that David [Beador] allegedly abused Shannon. Even though Vicki clearly explained that continuing to discuss the matter would be hurtful to Shannon, Meghan immediately called Shannon to rat Vicki out. Meghan was thirsty to keep the feud going.”

Kelly continued, “Finally, for some for some strange reason, during what was otherwise a great time at Hamburger Mary’s, Meghan decides to resurrect the ‘affair text battle’ that happened between us six months ago. Pot stirred. Shit disturbed.” That “strange reason” is most likely a quest to secure some camera time.

Kelly wondered, “Why is Meghan so thirsty?”And then she answered hit her with this one: “Perhaps it’s because she is bored with her life in St. Louis and misses some OC drama? Maybe she is trying to find something to talk about other than baby Aspen. Regardless, she seems intent on keeping old disputes alive or resurrecting rumors that were previously dealt with, squashed and I thought, buried.” Kelly does not play around.

She explained, “Despite having a great time with the ladies, I was still a little peeved at Meghan for betraying me to Shannon. I very clearly told Meghan I wanted to raise the issue to Shannon myself, one-on-one. So, it didn’t take much for the resentment I felt for Meghan to flare up.” She also said, “Although our initial discussion was contentious, we could have finished the argument at the point we discussed her telling Shannon about how I believed she recorded me. Shannon and I talked about it on the van ride to Hamburger Mary’s and we were not going to take it any further.”

Kelly said, “However, Meghan couldn’t let resting dogs lie. She had to rekindle the argument about her spreading unfounded rumors.” Recycling the same story lines is just getting annoying at this point. Can they please argue about something new? Please?

But anyway, Kelly wrote, “With Tamra, Lydia [McLaughlin], Shannon and Tamra’s pseudo-psychic present, Meghan once again tries to play the victim.  Her spin on the story is that, out of the blue, I attacked her by claiming her husband, Jimmy [Edmonds], was having a ’10 year affair on her’ (interesting, since she’s only been married a little more than two years – but let’s not let facts stand in the way of rumors). Why is she bringing this up again?” For a story line.

Once again, Kelly went in: “I am sure Jimmy appreciates her dragging up his past as much as he appreciates her calling him a complete ***hole. Way to go Meghan! If you are going to talk about our text battle, then at least tell the whole story. Instead, Meghan tries to paint me in the worst light possible and portrays herself as the victim. It’s a damn good thing that I kept those texts messages to show the women the truth. Rather than acknowledge Meghan’s deceit, Shannon calls ‘tit for tat’, which is a false equivalency.”

Again, why is it so bad that Kelly asked Meghan about rumors that Jim was having an affair in the same conversation where Meghan confronted Kelly about rumors that Kelly was having one? Don’t get me wrong, these are both heavy accusations that would offend just about anyone, but aren’t they pretty much congruent? How does Meghan being pregnant make it any more offensive? Plus, she is the one who started this conversation that she brings up in just about every episode.

Believe it or not, Kelly usually makes sense, she just messes it up and says something way out of line that the other cast members fixate on- taking away from any valid point she previously made. Still, Kelly tried to clarify her comments: “For the record, I did not call Meghan a bad mother. I said she should focus on her baby instead of spreading rumors.”And then she went and threw some shade in Meghan’s direction (yet again): “When Jolie was a baby she was always with me, 24/7. Of course, we could have chosen to have a full time nanny, but I loved every moment with my baby. You could not pry her away from me if you tried.” Another dig at Meghan’s mothering. That’s going to go over well…

Khloe Kardashian Regrets Opening Up So Much Of Their Lives To Reality Cameras

Khloe Kardashian is crying all the way to the bank about any regrets she has about their lives being so public and readily available due to Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It’s a song of woe we’ve heard sung by many a reality star, but the Kardashians are an empire – literally – all their own, and probably the most pervasive and successful of the bunch.

Khloe admits, in hindsight, she has some serious regrets regarding how open they’ve been with some very personal situations (her divorce and situation with Lamar Odom is shockingly not one of those regrets!).

The youngest of the original K-sisters never dreamed their reality show would have become so much a part of who they are. When Ryan Seacrest approached them to do the show, Khloe insists she and Kourtney were extremely hesitant about selling their privacy to E! cameras. No surprise, OF’s (Original Famewhores) Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian were eager beavers. Ryan told them it was either the entire family, or no deal, so Khloe and Kourtney reluctantly sacrificed for the greater good.

“My mom and my sister Kim wanted to do the show, but Kourtney and I were really against it,” Khloe shares. “So my mom kind of sold it to us as a great commercial for our stores.”

At that time, Khloe and Kourtney were running their clothing boutiques and didn’t even have full-time assistants! Then Ryan came to a family dinner one day and told them, “You guys are crazy. You need to be on TV.” The rest was history!

“We never could have fathomed the longevity of the show,” says Khloe. “I don’t think anybody could have.”

In the early seasons, the girls were goofy and down-to-earth, and Khloe recalls the years before the glam squads, A-list boyfriends and events, and fame that arose. “Our show, at first, was like a very modern-day Brady Bunch—a little gimmicky and with a takeaway each episode. Occasionally I’ll catch an old episode and notice how we all talked in these baby voices. It’s crazy if you listen to it now. I think maybe we did it because we were nervous.”

Khloe insists KUWTK is a full-time job which films “six days a week, 12 to 18 hours a day, every single day.” And it’s not all luxury vacations and shopping sprees! “Now our lives have evolved. Not every episode is juicy to us; it’s only juicy to the audience.”

The show has taken on a life of its own and has overtaken the real lives of its stars. Particularly youngest sisters Kendall and Kylie who have grown-up on camera and watched as their entire lives were exposed: from their parents divorce, to their sisters’ divorces, and most pivotally: Bruce Jenner‘s transition to Caitlin.

“Things like Kim’s robbery or Caitlin’s transition? That’s the kind of stuff we wish we had never filmed,” Khloe confesses. “We aren’t ever like, ‘Oooh! Let’s do this for season nine.’ This is our life, and these are the things that happen. And it’s funny—when we decide not to shoot things, people feel slighted. But when we film too much, they’re like, ‘Oh, you never should have filmed that.’ It’s a catch-22.”

“I didn’t start to really understand the opportunity the series presented until the fourth or fifth season,” Khloe shares in a personal essay written for Glamour. “The truth is that I was heavier then too, so not a lot of endorsements were coming my way. Brands would prefer to align themselves with Kim or Kourtney, which I was totally fine with because I was still along for the ride.”

As Khloe came to terms with fame, she admits to making a lot of mistakes – like doing a tampon commercial! “We are by nature vulnerable and open people. And I think it’s a gift to be that way,” she concedes. “The older you get, and the more comfortable you become in your skin, the more you begin to think about what makes sense for you. Now our lives have evolved.”

“When it comes to our drama, we are a large, blended family. If you put a microscope over any family for 10 years, you’re bound to find cracks in the foundation. That’s just the name of the game, and we’re strong enough to endure it.”

Khloe acknowledges that reality TV, and its consequences, are not for everyone. But, “this is what we do and we do it together,” she defends. And at this point, obviously, the Kardashians no longer have any shame in their game: “This is what we’ve chosen, and we’ve chosen to be as raw and honest as we can.” Or not, but apparently it doesn’t matter because people are still watching!

Big Brother 19 Week 10 Power Ranking–Is Christmas in the Best Position This Week?

With another Big Brother 19 double eviction on the horizon, the shifting dynamics are going to play a crucial role in Thursday’s developments and the weeks ahead. We’re really getting down to the end as Big Brother 19 houseguests’ positions start to solidify.

Everyone must watch out, because if the wrong person wins the Head of Household or Power of Veto competition, then they could end up being the next one to go. And quite a few of them won’t even see it coming.

This week’s Big Brother power rankings goes as followed…

7. Jason – Jason Dent is going home on Thursday and he still seems to have no idea. It will be interesting to see how it plays out on the live show and the reactions, especially Alex Ow and Kevin Schlehuber‘s responses. The current plan is for it to be a tiebreaker broken by Christmas Abbott. This makes the outcome more dramatic but will the blame be laid at her feet or Paul Abrahamian‘s feet? Really, there’s not much more Jason can do to save himself, especially since he doesn’t know it’s coming. Josh Martinez is broken up about this, so if he does give him a warning, maybe something can shift at the last minute.

6. Alex – If Alex doesn’t win a competition during the double eviction, she’s probably toast. Christmas and Josh want her out badly, and with good reason, she’s the only person who can really compete with the two of them and Paul. With Kevin and Raven Walton there, it should be pretty much a cakewalk. That being said, there are concerns that Paul may not want to pull the trigger on her. If he has to, things could get interesting. But really, she just needs to win something on Thursday night and not react super emotionally about Jason’s eviction to have a chance at survival. It’s unfortunate we won’t get the full fallout if she goes right after he does.

5. Kevin – Kevin is checked out of the Big Brother 19 game, and it’s clear. Maybe Jason going will get him reinvigorated, but he doesn’t seem to want to be there anymore. Can you blame him? He spends quite a lot of his time alone, since many of them are ignoring him. He’s not really done much to get into this spot, nor has he done much to get himself out of it. He’s mostly a sitting duck at this point, and will only be able to prevent his eventual eviction if he wins something or people wake up to what’s actually going on in the game.

4. Raven – Raven is sort of the peripheral fourth of Josh, Christmas, and Paul. But none of them can stand her. She’s being kept around mostly because Raven is not a threat and Paul can control her. It’s only a matter of time before he decides that he can control Raven more than he can Josh or Christmas. I’m just hoping it doesn’t happen when he can do something about it, because I don’t think anyone wants to see Raven in the endgame at this point.

3. Josh – Finally, Josh has expressed major doubt in Paul this week. The problem is he keeps harping on it to Christmas, who doesn’t care or want to hear it. He should probably keep his doubts to himself and only act when he has the power or numbers to do so. And maybe that would be next week after the double. I think Josh is probably fine to throw the double eviction Head of Household, let someone else get the blood on their hands, and then try for the following competition. Maybe then Josh can get Christmas to see that taking out Paul is way more adventageous than taking out Kevin or Raven. But he needs to stay quiet for the time being, because he’s only pissing Christmas off with his doubt.

2. Paul – Paul is still running the show. Yawn. He’s only below Christmas because I don’t think anyone would take a shot at her. If Josh has the power to do something, or something goes awry in the plan to take out Alex, perhaps Paul could be in a bit of a compromising position. Josh is seeing what he’s doing, and Christmas sees it (but doesn’t want to) so he’s not completely clean in this game.  As Paul has to start getting more blood on his hands, it’s going to catch up with him one way or another. I think this jury is going to be more angry with him than he anticipates.

1. Christmas – The current Head of Household has done a great job kind of avoiding the blame for this week. That said, it could change when Christmas has to send Jason out in a tiebreaker. But if she can turn it around into taking credit for it or putting the blame on someone else, maybe it will work out for her. Even if Alex gets a chance to exact revenge, I don’t think they’d send Christmas home, who still can’t really compete, over Josh or Paul, who are seen as bigger players and threats in this game. She is getting healthier every day but she still won’t be in top form when it comes down to these late state competitions for power.

Vanderpump Rules Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky Recap: The Mysterious Case Of Brittany And The Lost Spark

On the latest installment of Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, Jax Taylor is doing one hell of a tap dance to convince the family that he really does intend on moving forward in his relationship with Brittany Cartwright. Only one tiny little problem with that: no one’s buying it. Winchester might not have cell service or wifi, but they do have cable and looks like they have been watching Vanderpump Rules.

We resume with Don getting nowhere fast by talking to Jax about his intentions with Brittany. Jax is pushing the narrative that the “Brittany Spark” is gone, which he thinks is a little bit of a depression. She is sleeping late, eating a lot, dating a complete loser that’s not good for her, you know, the usual signs of losing your spark/mild depression. But Don isn’t impressed with this theory and when he accuses Jax of trying to get out of moving forward with his daughter, Jax couldn’t be more obvious about being caught in a lie. His eyes get big, he turns red, and he stumbles over his own reassurances that he has every intention of being with Brittany but darn it, he is a perfectionist and he guesses that holds him back sometimes.

Don looks at Jax like he just got served a pumptini but Jax claims it’s lemonade: something’s not adding up. Plus, Jax is a 37-year-old bartender at SUR whose most recent business venture is a chunky sweater line that never got off the ground. I think it’s safe to say that if Jax was a perfectionist, we wouldn’t be here right now.

Once they leave Don’s house, Brittany takes Jax on a stroll down memory lane in downtown Winchester. She tells Jax about her beauty pageant days and how they would shut down Main Street so she could parade through with her crown. Jax absentmindedly responds that there must not be a lot of girls in this town. Ouch.

They meet up with Brittany’s brother Wes so he can tell them about the upcoming fundraiser they need help with. Wes and his wife Melisha aren’t able to have kids naturally so they are going to try and do IVF, which comes with a hefty price tag. The fundraiser will help them get the $20K needed to hopefully start their family. Always bringing it back to himself, even at the most sensitive of moments, Jax wonders how much he has spent on condoms trying to avoid having a family. A whole lot of SUR tip money is the answer to that.

Brittany is excited to meet her girlfriends out in Lexington and they hit the club. Jax is buying bottles left and right since they are only $150, as opposed to the $600 he would pay in L.A. But he barely has time to enjoy his cheap bottle service before Brittany’s single mom friends are all pressing him about having a baby with their best friend. According to Jax Facts, 99% of her friends are either divorced or have illegitimate kids.

To shift the focus off the pressure he’s feeling, Jax makes the mistake of telling Brittany’s best friend, Cara, about the Lost Spark of Brittany and how it’s worrying him. Cara, like Don, knows better and doesn’t let Jax off the hook. He bobs and weaves, talking about how he won’t tolerate divorce and doesn’t want to be in a bad situation, but not that their situation is bad or anything! Just stop talking, Jax! But he can’t and keeps digging himself a deeper and deeper hole as he tries to maintain any lie that will support his story of not being able to immediately settle down for marriage and kids. As annoying as it is to watch him throw Brittany under the bus as being responsible for his inability to commit, I (begrudgingly) have to side with Jax on this one – no one wants to go into a marriage before they are ready and I think it’s fair to say he doesn’t want to get divorced.

After a heavy night of drinking, Brittany and Jax meet with Wes again to help set up for the fundraiser. Wes shows off the garage they cleaned up to make a party space and all the donated items they have to auction off. Jax wonders why they don’t just set up a Go Fund Me page, but helps nonetheless. Too bad he just can’t keep his judgements to himself and starts griping to Brittany about Cara and her lifestyle of having illegitimate kids.

Brittany recognizes how hypocritical this is of Jax, considering he admitted to getting a girl pregnant while cheating on then-girlfriend Stassi Schroeder only a few short TV seasons ago. All this time, I thought these little nuggets of information about what a horrible person Jax is were lost on Brittany but apparently, she just chooses to overlook them because of love.

The fundraiser starts and the people are filing in, including Mamaw, who came to party. And by party, I mean buy six raffle tickets and dance with Jax a few times.

Sherri arrives, lips frostier than a cold winter morning, and Jax immediately pulls her aside to do some damage control before Don can tell her what an insincere slimeball Jax is. He wants Sherri to be aware of the fake problem he created as a diversion so he doesn’t have to propose. He tells Sherri about Brittany’s penchant for waking up at 1 pm, then moving to the couch and eating. Sherri muses that Brittany was underweight when she left Kentucky and Jax assures her he is more attracted to Brittany now than ever. They stop dissecting Brittany’s weight long enough for Jax to explain that this is a problem he needs to fix before he can propose. Sherri is confused since this is quite a different tune from him showing off an engagement ring design only a few short days ago.

Don does his own investigating by asking Brittany if she’s homesick or maybe…depressed? Brittany clearly has no idea what he’s talking about and tells him how happy she is. Don believes his daughter and it only reinforces his belief that Jax is a lying scumbag, trying to string his daughter along on national TV.

The fundraiser continues and Wes grabs a mic to thank everyone for coming and tell them how excited he is to be able to make a baby with the money they raise. Since Jax can’t bear to have anyone else in the spotlight, he requests the mic and announces that he will match anything they raise for the night. Sure, Jax says he was touched by their struggle to start a family but also, he wants to win points with Don and the rest of Brittany’s family.

As the night wears on and the donations roll in, Jax starts to regret his heroic offer to match. When the total gets to almost $12K, he breaks into a sweat and yells to everyone to stop donating.

At a side table nearby, Don is ready to talk to Sherri about his thoughts on Jax and asks Sherri if he came to her with the same concerns about Brittany. Sherri admits that Jax did come to her but while Don is suspicious, Sherri remains D-list star struck and can’t seem to see Jax for what he is: disingenuous. Don says only time will tell and I guess we have a few more episodes to find out if he’s right.

Stephanie Hollman Leaned On Brandi Redmond; Says LeeAnne Locken Wants To Prove She Is “Not A Nice Person”

It had to be tough for Stephanie Hollman to watch the Real Housewives of Dallas episodes where she and bestie Brandi Redmond were not on good terms. It also couldn’t have been easy for Stephanie to see enemy LeeAnne Locken filling in as Brandi’s confidant while they were feuding.

Ironically enough, Stephanie actually turned to Brandi to help her get through the episodes where they were at odds and they seem to be stronger friends for it. As for Stephanie and LeeAnne, they still can’t stand each other and nothing has changed between the two of them.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stephanie confessed, “With Brandi, I felt like there was so much I could lose. I was kind of terrified. I did not want to leave without that friendship. I did not want to do something to mess that up.”

As strange as it sounds, it does make sense that Brandi and Stephanie supported each other while the first few episodes of the season were airing. Stephanie explained, “Brandi is like my sister. I can’t have another friendship like hers. She makes me think that I’m 5 years old, and there’s not a care in the world, and that’s something that’s rare and I don’t think you can find with a lot of people.”

And then there’s LeeAnne – someone that Stephanie has the exact opposite feelings about who happened to be Brandi’s good friend during her hiatus from Stephanie. Stephanie declared, “I don’t know if we’ll ever be, probably never be, good friends.” Then again, no one expected Brandi and LeeAnne to get along, so anything is possible in Dallas.

Stephanie theorized, “She just wants to prove, for some reason, that I’m not a nice person, that I’m reactive. She’s wanting to prove something to people that’s not true. I can hold myself together. I’m not nasty to her – we don’t even talk when we’re out. If nothing else, I run away!”

In regard to LeeAnne’s “explosive behavior,” Stephanie said, “I’m not surprised anymore. It’s super predictable.” She also said, “If she was nice to me and actually took ownership of the things that she does. I would be shocked and amazed.”
