Tonight, Below Deck and Real Housewives of Orange County will merge. Former Orange County Housewife Alexis Bellino is a charter guest on the new episode. She and her new man Andy Bohn decided to charter a boat to celebrate her divorce from Jim Bellino.
Let’s just hope they don’t talk too much trash about Jim. They don’t want to end up in a legal mess like Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador.
What else can we expect from tonight’s episode? Captain Lee Rosbach comes to a decision about Rhylee Gerber. Ashton Pienaar, Brian de Saint Pern, and Tanner Sterback want Rhylee out. But, there are only six days left in the charter. It is highly unlikely that Lee is going to let her go. Plus, more Rhylee equals more drama for the show.
In lighter news, Tanner might actually get a chance to hook up with Kate Chastain. He started crushing on her as soon as he got on the boat. However, he drunkenly hooked up with Simone Mashile… a few times. And it seemed like a Tanner and Kate hookup was completely out of the question, but apparently not. They did briefly smooch in the back of the van after Ashton went crazy on Kate. Plus, Kate and Simone can’t stand each other, so she doesn’t have to worry about her hurting her feelings.
Cute (albeit slightly boring) couple Brian and Courtney Skippon get into a disagreement tonight as well. From the previews, it looks like Courtney thought the boatmance would last after the season while Brian viewed it as a one season thing. If that is the case, then Brian is the more realistic one, but I’m rooting for them nonetheless.
And, of course, there’s always drama in the galley. However, this time, it’s not about Kevin Dobson fighting with Kate. He throws out his back and Captain Lee is concerned that they will not have a chef to finish out the charter season.

Season 4 of Real Housewives of Dallas has certainly been memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. Viewers saw star LeeAnne Locken face accusations of being racist because of her use of the word “Mexican” in relation to Kary Brittingham. LeeAnne actually called Kary a “chirpy Mexican” to co-star Kameron Westcott. LeeAnne is out of line, and excuses, for making these racially insensitive comments.
When LeeAnne was confronted at the RHOD reunion by Andy Cohen, she feigned ignorance about casting Kary’s nationality in a negative light. How long can LeeAnne get away with blaming her insulting behavior on her childhood?
According to E! News, Brandi Redmond also criticized LeeAnne at the reunion. “I feel like it’s disgusting. Watching, I’m disappointed. I don’t want to be associated,” Brandi stated. “I feel like ashamed and it’s not OK LeeAnn, it’s not OK. To use that over and over and over again is racism.”
Well pot, meet kettle. Brandi was forced to address some racially inappropriate comments that she made in the past. Someone shared a video on Twitter of Brandi apparently making fun of Asian people. In the brief clip, Brandi said, “Oh, everybody ask me…uh…uh…what Asian I am cuz of my eyes, they squinty.” Brandi spoke with an exaggerated Asian accent in the video. Her children were also with her in her car during this cringe-worthy moment. This is just so wrong.
Brandi took to Twitter to defend herself, writing “I was referring to myself And being Asian. Cheers.” Brandi later deleted the post, but it was memorialized in a screen shot. In other screenshots, the RHOD star wrote, “It’s a good impersonation if I do say so myself and there was no harm done. I would do it again for a damn good audition. Have a great day.”
E! News reported that on January 4, Brandi spoke out about the troubling video. “A video resurfaced of me from three years ago which at the time I had posted and quickly deleted and then immediately apologized for my insensitivity,” Brandi tweeted. “I would like to once again sincerely apologize for my offensive actions.” The same day, Brandi responded to a follower on Twitter, posting “I don’t have a malicious bone in my body.”
But now Brandi’s representative has issued a statement that the reality star is taking further action to address her behavior. Brandi entered a wellness center to “reflect and better herself.” The rep added, “She will be back with us next week. We support her on this journey of healing and ask that you join us in that.”
Maybe LeeAnne should check herself in, too. They could be roomies! Checking into a wellness center or rehab center is a quick way for a star to improve their image and erase past sins. I really hope that Bravo is going to hold both LeeAnne and Brandi accountable for their culturally insensitive remarks. Come on, Housewives! You’re better than this!

Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 came through. Or at least it was a lot better than the previous couple of seasons. Still, there’s some work to be done.
Vicki Gunvalson was famously demoted from Real Housewife to Friend of the Housewives at the start of Season 14. The internet has been rumbling with rumors about casting changes for Season 15. Some fans want RHOC to clean house completely. Well, the infamous Radar Online came through with some casting “news,” but Andy Cohen completely denied the claims.
Andy tweeted, “Why is anyone believing Radar Online? No contracts have even gone out.” SO what did Radar claim in the article that article? Supposedly, Vicki got another “Friend” contract, but will she accept?
Allegedly, “Confirmed and picked up for the RHOC cast for next season are Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Emily Simpson, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Kelly Dodd.”
But, what about Gina Kirschenheiter? Apparently her “fate is still up in the air.” Not only, that, but the snake herself Tamra allegedly “came close to getting fired, according to the insider, and barely got an offer.” Even though there a lot of people who are tired of Tamra’s duplicitous ways, she is very good at stirring shit up. Gina, however, has no real storyline and horrible hair, makeup, and fashion stories.
An insider claimed, “Gina could get something last hour but she wasn’t sent a pickup with the rest of the ladies.”
A different source said, “They don’t want the show to be boring.” NEITHER DO WE. NEITHER DO WE.

Throughout history we cling to tales of true love and triumph over adversity. We root for an underdog couple to find their way, despite the limits of society and last call at 2am. But sometimes Cupid’s arrow falls a bit short of the happily ever after scenario. Just ask Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis. If we’re being honest, Kathryn and Thomas’ photo should be front and center beside the definition of “messy” in the dictionary. Thankfully, Southern Charm managed to capture their budding relationship, their mutual substance abuse issues, and ultimately their downfall.
But Kathryn and Thomas did have two beautiful children as a result of their union. They also had rage-fueled fights and disturbing revelations. Not to mention a custody battle where Thomas deposed most of the cast and Kathryn’s My Size Barbie from 1994. After Thomas’ descent into madness unfortunate experience with a nanny and subsequent arrest, he got the boot. While some viewers cheered his absence, others noticed a gaping hole of drama was exposed and the show was difficult to watch. The rumor mill has been saying Southern Charm hasn’t been filming due to a cast shake up and a drought of action. So what is a girl to do about this? Stunt Queen, party of two – your table is ready.
Kathryn took to Instagram and posted a glam shot at a party. With Thomas. The guy that told the world she had an abortion, failed a drug test, and dragged her 839 ways in court. We see you, girl. Kathryn captioned the photo, “I’m nobody’s Bond girl!” Let’s do this one together – SURE, JAN. And seriously, Kathryn needs a round of applause because this pic did exactly what she wanted it to do, got people interested.
Fans had a field day. One follower wrote, “Why are you with him?!?!?!?!? I get he fathered your beautiful children, BUT….” Yes, T-Rav fathered Kathryn’s children. Also, she wants to keep her television job. Another viewer chimed in with, “Do you purposely post a picture like this to be controversial?” Ding, ding, ding!
The comments ranged from full meltdown to incurable romantics. One person wrote, “Love the pic tho [sic] coparenting cooperatively is a beautiful thing!” Except the kids were nowhere to be found at this event. Someone who clearly never watched the show added, “I like her with Thomas.” Then we had those wondering if we will see a 3rd Ravenel child added to their family. Kathryn’s fans also pointed out she spent some time on Christmas with the kids and Thomas, which only fuels notions of a reconciliation.
So what do you think? Can Kathryn and Thomas not quit each other? Is this a calculated move to try and spark some kind of interest in a show that suffered the loss of it’s main antagonist? Or could this just be a function both Kathryn and Thomas attended and shared a photo? One might even speculate if this is a lead into Thomas’ eventual return to the show. Whatever the case may be, if Kathryn wanted to incite rumors and gain attention, mission accomplished.

The origin of Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton’s years-long feud is abundantly unclear, but their animosity provides the Real Housewives of Atlanta fans with endless entertainment. During a dinner scene from last night’s episode, Marlo told Kenya to take her wig off.
Kenya insists that she never wears wigs, so if that’s the case, she obviously couldn’t take one off. Meanwhile, Marlo has a line of wigs, even though the wigs she rocks are often messy and ill-fitting. The RHOA stars didn’t leave their quips back and forth to the episode though. They also threw some shade on social media and I love them for it.
Marlo tweeted, “Get you a wig, everybody else got one.” She didn’t “@” Kenya, but all know who she was talking to, especially since she retweeted a lot of tweets about Kenya’s hair. Marlo retweeted a viewer who wrote, “I mean, the audacity. Then lie about that’s her hair. BYE WIG.”
Marlo also retweeted a fan who posted, “We have never seen Kenya’s real hair since she’s been on this show.”
I love how Marlo continued the shade to promote her wig line, even though, as I stated, Marlo isn’t exactly known for her well-fitting wigs. Kenya took the same approach by shading Marlo all while promoting Kenya Moore Haircare.
Kenya began an Instagram post with “I exclusively use @KenyaMooreHair to keep my hair healthy. When I use all my products my hair grows so fast bc it is strong and it retains length.”
Then, mid-explanation about her products, she threw a clear dig at Marlo: ” Protective styles can be used occasionally to give your hair a rest. However, wigs should be used to cover up your hair bc you are ashamed of it due to its poor condition.”
This is what Real Housewives should be about: fun, harmless shade and shameless self-promotion. This is the kind of feud I love to see.

Last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta was a trip to the insane asylum rather than carnival. Or maybe they thought they were visiting LeeAnne Locken‘s carnival of crazy? The fighting and attempted snake baiting went so completely off the rails that Kenya Moore‘s elusive SECURITY! appeared out of nowhere to drag Nene Leakes away. Does Kenya summon them by flicking her maxi dress?!
It’s hard to believe the mess all started with Porsha Williams getting re-engaged in a surprise re-proposal. Dennis McKinley showed up Tanya Sam‘s party, and crept through the crowd like a gopher, until he popped up right at Porsha’s feet holding a ring.
All it took was Dennis publicly admitting that he betrayed Porsha’s trust and embarrassed their family for her to immediately re-accept and start calling him “husband,” but something is not right because Porsha was all excited to take Dennis back to the hotel for some peen, yet he had to fly home to his hot dogs instead… Like Kandi Burruss I too have my suspicions. However if I were Kandi I’d be more worried about what Todd Tucker is doing with his time all day with all these unfinished properties he spent her money on!
Porsha is beside herself with joy as she rides back to the hotel with the other ladies, staring her sparkly finger in the reflection of the bus window. Meanwhile Kenya has tricks up her skirt. Kenya keeps mimicking Tanya and doing unkind impersonations of her. It’s not that Kenya doesn’t have Tanya time spot on, but it’s bizarre that she is suddenly coming from someone who is so nice. It’s also not nice for Kenya to be interrogating Porsha about Dennis cheating. Can’t a girl just enjoy her re-engagement in peace?!
To distract from the Dennis debacle Porsha decides now is the time to get to the bottom of SnakeGate. Everyone, except for Tanya who has skipped away with Paul, decides to meet back in Marlo Hampton‘s room for a snake summit. The exterminators have entered the building!
I suppose the point of this was to either catch Nene in a a lie, because no one believes there actually is a recording, or force Yovanna Momplaisir to finally admit she’s the culprit behind secretly recoding Cynthia Bailey. Honestly I just think Cynthia wants to know what she supposedly said that can be so incriminating. For some odd reason Yovanna and NeNe, probably plotting, decide to put on their PJs before joining the other ladies, which also gives Kenya time to plot with Porsha how they will expose Yovanna.
NeNe flounces in with her boob literally hanging out of a red satin robe, and nothing else on underneath except matching panties! She doesn’t think it’s big deal because she has pasties on (and patsys for friends). NeNe now claims that it’s not a recording – but “audio,” like an accidentally recorded conversation similar to when Cynthia was nabbed telling Mike Hill how she wasn’t supposed to inform NeNe that Kenya was coming to the Peach Bellini party from last season. Or like when NeNe accidentally left her mic on after Eva Marcille asked her not to? Also NeNe told Kandi that she had a recording — now she’s changing her tune and calling it “audio.”
Yovanna actually had the nerve to lecture everyone about how fake they are so that’s why it Cynthia deserved to be recorded. Yovanna has been drinking NeNe’s moscato, because she pretended to be friends with Cynthia so she could cajole her into trash-talking NeNe, then secretly recorded it – at Cynthia’s own event – to give to NeNe. Yet Yovanna is calling Cynthia fake?! Girl… you aren’t that bitch, you’re just a bitch!
Also, this is all such bullshit! Marlo tries to defend NeNe and interpret her NeNe-talk, and Cynthia just loses it. They end cursing each other out, and Cynthia actually tries to leave before NeNe promises that she wants to explain. Timesssssss sup, NeNe! Cynthia wants to believe NeNe can be a good friend, but she needs to let go of that delusion!
Eva and Porsha have also had enough of being strung along by a snake Plus Eva has to leave at 5am and is about a million months pregnant. As Marlo stuffs food in her mouth and NeNe rambles nonsensically, Porsha and Yovanna get into it after Yovanna tells Porsha the only snake she needs to worry about is Dennis. Porsha jumps up and then everyone starts running into the hallway like a cobra is on the loose.
NeNe refuses to tell Cynthia that Yovanna is the one with the receipts because she wants Yovanna to take the heat. Basically NeNe set Yovanna up to get revenge on Cynthia for what happened with Kenya last season. She even admits it! And NeNe tells Yovanna she must tell Cynthia, because NeNe has too much history with these girls to sacrifice it over Yovanna. What the hell is wrong with “Yo-Yo” that she would put up with this emotional manipulation and continue to call NeNe a friend? MeNe needs to stop! Also why is everyone on Team MeNe wearing a blonde wig?
NeNe finally convinces everyone to come back to the room but someone called security – probably the hotel (or Kandi) – and that was a good call because all of the sudden NeNe and Kenya are at each other over who needs to mind whose business and shut the fuck up. Porsha, who was screaming at Yovanna, winds up helping production hold a foaming NeNe back – and thank god Porsha was there to block NeNe’s full boob from hanging out! Cynthia and Marlo grab Kenya. Eva manages to slink out.
Production actually has to chase NeNe down the hall and restrain her as she tries to go after Kenya! You know what this means – for the rest of the season it will be Kenya vs. NeNe!
The next morning as Tanya is getting ready for Carnival, NeNe flounces into her room, happy as can be, as if nothing traumatic happened the previous night. NeNe gossips cheerfully to Tanya about the fight and gushes that Porsha tried to protect her from Kenya so now they are back to “Big Sis/Little Sis.” I wonder what Porsha has to say about this? Tanya is shocked and confused. Also Yovanna decided to slither away to Atlanta early.
By the time the other women meet in the lobby for Carnivale NeNe and Yovanna are gone. Cynthia is still irritated with Marlo, who is also acting like nothing happened. And honestly when you’re wearing 92lbs of sequins, a cape of feathers, and fishnet stockings, you’re already irritated enough without having to add to the annoyance.
Also, it’s Tanya time and she refuses to let anything rain on her literal parade. Porsha is also ready to turn WAY the hell up and celebrate once again being engaged. I have no idea why everyone – except Kandi – is supporting her getting back together with Dennis. No, he didn’t commit beastiality as the blogs reported (so weird), but he certainly was unfaithful and lied to her while she was pregnant. NO. NO. NO.
After the previous night’s insanity, Cynthia and Kenya just aren’t in the mood to party and end up hiding on the bus talking about how annoying Marlo and NeNe are. Cynthia no longer cares about snakegate and is done trying to get to the bottom of who manipulated her. I mean, it’s obvious and now Cynthia knows she just can’t trust Yovanna!
That evening, after a long day at Carnival, the women all meet for their final dinner in Canada. Marlo, wearing her wise old lady glasses, apologizes to Cynthia, who accepts although she has no plans to trust Marlo every again. Everyone is in a surprisingly jubilant mood so of course Krayonce starts being messy. WHY? Why is Kenya messier than a hoarder house?!
Kenya attempts to bait Tanya by asking a so-called ‘general’ question regarding who would want to know if their man was cheating. Porsha actually thinks Kenya is referring to her and Dennis, but Cynthia and Kandi know this is directed at Tanya. Apparently the girl who owns the cookie store nearby Cynthia’s wine cellar was out one night when Paul showed up and lavished her with attention before asking for her number. According to Kenya Tanya lives in a fantasy word where Paul is faithful and they have a great best-friends-with-benefits relationship. Tanya even checks his phone – his only phone – and he doesn’t mind. When pressed Tanya admits that if she found out Paul was flirting with other women or being unfaithful she’d be hurt and devastated.
I personally don’t believe this cookie girl so far as I can throw her. The entire thing seemed contrived. And if Paul knows she has a business in the same building as Cynthia, I doubt he’d be so dumb as to shit where his wife’s co-workers (literally) eat! Kenya clearly has some sort of issues with Tanya is seeking to discredit and embarrass her. Kenya was mimicking her in a cruel way on the bus, always behind Tanya’s back, and now she’s trying to humiliate her by asking loaded questions to set her up. This is on par with how snaky Yovanna was to Cynthia. And this is why I can have no sympathy for the devil’s advocate!
