Dina Manzo was an integral part of making the early seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey all about family. Along with family members Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita, Dina talked incessantly about the importance of family. Dina and Caroline are not only sisters, but they married brothers as well. The three ladies’ family ties became the essence of the show. That’s why it was so surprising when Dina chose to walk away from the show after Season 2. She also divorced her husband, Tommy Manzo. Soon after, Dina seemingly cut ties with the entire Manzo family.
Still, she seemed to be moving on peacefully until the shocking attack on Dina and her now-husband David Cantin in 2017. It was a horrifying crime that came out of nowhere. They were tied up and beaten. The official story was that it was a random violent robbery. It always seemed like a particularly vicious attack for a simple robbery. Now it seems that the truth behind the attack may be even uglier than it first appeared.
Page Six reports that according to an indictment from U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito’s office, the person responsible for the attack is none other than Dina‘s ex-husband Tommy Manzo!
The indictment alleges that Tommy recruited a member of the Lucchese crime family to carry out the attack on Dina and her then-boyfriend David (Dina and David married in May 2019). In exchange, Mafia soldier John Perna would receive a steep discount on his wedding reception at a catering hall that Tommy co-owns.
Tommy allegedly repaid him for the assault by allowing him to host a “lavish wedding reception at Manzo’s restaurant for a fraction of the price” — entertaining scores of Lucchese mobsters during the party, prosecutors said. The charges against Tommy and John Perna include committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity, fraud, as well as other miscellaneous charges.
Yes, unfortunately, you read that right. Tommy allegedly had two people viciously beaten and terrorized in exchange for giving the perpetrator a discount on his wedding reception. There are no words.
Tommy was married to Dina for about 11 years before the pair split in 2016. He is the brother of Albert Manzo and brother-in-law of the matriarch herself, Caroline Manzo. He is also part-owner of the Brownstone, the Manzo family business often featured on RHONJ. The entire family (except for Tommy) was featured heavily on early seasons of RHONJ, followed by their own spinoff, Manzo’d with Children. To hear that he may be behind such a horrible act is just repulsive.
Mafia rumors have followed the Manzo family through the years. The death of Albert’s father at a young age has often had whispers of mob activity surrounding it. Former RHONJ co-star Danielle Staub also dropped thinly veiled comments about the Manzo’s ties to organized crime. Caroline has always spoken out against these rumors, even suggesting that people should be ashamed of themselves for even thinking such a thing.
Additionally, there has also been a huge rift between Dina and Caroline for years, ever since she divorced Tommy. No one will speak on the root of the issue, but this definitely adds more questions than answers. What is really going on in the Manzo family?
Regardless, no one should ever have to go through an ordeal like what Dina and David did. My heart goes out to them. To have such a terrible act committed against them is devastating enough. For it to have been allegedly ordered by a family member has got to be emotionally devastating. I hope Dina and David can fully recover from this attack, and that those responsible are swiftly brought to justice.

The second half of Real Housewives of New York Season 12 has some major changes in store for fans. RHONY viewers have watched Dorinda Medley attack Tinsley Mortimer all season. Dorinda accused Tinsley of secretly dating Tinsley’s ex, Scott Kluth, and lying to the ladies about it. Dorinda also claimed that Tinsley didn’t share her real life with her co-stars.
Then Tinsley and Dorinda blocked each other on Instagram. Now Dorinda is left without a punching bag because Tinsley announced on the show that she was leaving RHONY to move in with Scott in Chicago. Maybe Dorinda should go take boxing lessons at the gym Leah McSweeney goes to? Just saying.
And, of course, Scott popped the question in November of 2019, and Tinsley said yes. Now Tinsley can try on tons of wedding dresses because she is officially engaged. Viewers will probably never forget Tinsley modeling wedding dresses for her mom shortly after she started dating Scott.
The RHONY mid-season trailer still promises plenty of drama. It looks like the tension between newbie Leah and Ramona Singer will continue to flare.
And according to Page Six, the second half of Season 12 will feature all-new taglines for the ladies. Were the cast members dissatisfied with their original taglines? Or did Bravo just decide to spice things up since Tinsley’s tagline was being removed?
I think that the new taglines are interesting. Dorinda’s new line is, “Like a mint in my mouth, I can be a bit fresh.” That is true, and also why I always look forward to the RHONY cast trip to Dorinda’s home in the Bezerkshires.
Luann de Lesseps’ new tagline references the trauma that she suffered being forced to sleep in the basement at Ramona’s Hamptons home. “I rise above the drama and won’t settle for the lower level,” Luann states.
Sonja Morgan’s new tagline embraces her insistence that she is no one’s arm candy. During the Hampton’s trip that keeps on giving, a drunken Sonja argued with Elyse Slaine when Elyse mentioned that Sonja was a trophy wife. “I’m no one’s arm candy, I’m the whole bowl of sugar,” Sonja proclaims in her new line.
Of course, Ramona’s new tagline alludes to her favorite topic- herself. “So what if I’m self-involved. Who else should I be involved with?” Ramona quips.
Finally, newbie Leah appears to be sending a message to Ramona. Ramona, who considered herself a surrogate mother to Leah, constantly harped on Leah’s drinking during both the Hamptons and Newport, Rhode Island trips.
“I’ll say sorry for what I’ve done but never for who I am,” Leah states. I really liked Leah’s original tagline, “I may float like a butterfly, but I sting like a bitch.”

It’s no revelation that Darcey Silva and her sister Stacey Silva are trying to profit off of their twin lifestyle. They have a clothing line; House of 11. And Darcey shared her dating life on three seasons of the hit reality show 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. She documented her romantic journeys, first with Netherlands native Jesse Meester, then with Brit Tom Brooks. Stacey appeared on the show often enough to come off as thirsty for camera time as well.
Was Darcey really following love or did she play a role to secure a consecutive season? Judging by the tears, the sobs, and the insecurity, it seems that Darcey’s experience was genuine. Love her or hate her, she is very entertaining to watch. TLC seems to agree because Darcey and twin sister Stacey were given a spinoff on the network. And one of her exes is not too happy about it.
In Touch Weekly revealed the premise for the show. Darcey and Stacey will follow the sisters as they navigate their relationships and personal endeavors. It’s got a bit of a 90 Day Fiance feel to it as Stacey’s fiance Florian Sukaj will be appearing as well. Stacey will finally wed her Albanian fiance after he was approved for a visa to the USA.
Darcey says that she is, “happy for Stacey.” And despite the competitive nature of their couples trip to Albania, Darcey insists that, “we both really cheer each other on and want one another to be happy and that we’re in the right type of relationship. There’s a lot of speculation out there, but I want everyone to know that I will always have her back.”
After weathering two failed relationships on 90 Day Fiance, Darcey will instead focus on self-improvement and strengthening family bonds.
“I’m really super excited about the new show and very grateful to TLC.” Darcey said, “I’ve had a long journey with relationships and now that I’ve fully concluded my Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks stories, I am finally excited about what the future holds. I am at a stage in my life where I am happy with my life and I’m staying strong for me and my daughters [Anika and Aspen] and my family. And I’m so excited to dive deeper into our family life on the new show, past, present, and future.”
Stacey added, “I can’t wait for audiences to meet my mom, she’s riot. She’s so cute and she has so much love for everybody. We all call her Nana, and she’s been so helpful to Darcey and me.”
Unsurprisingly, there is one person from Darcey’s past that refuses to be of good cheer and wish her well. Ex- Jesse made a public statement on his Instagram questioning TLC’s decision. Reality TV blogger John Yates shared a screenshot. It reads, “she only had to use, abuse, and manipulate 5 guys to get what she wanted all along from the network. Ehtics, tlc? When lying and manipulating gets rewarded I will speak up.”
Jesse claims to have supported Darcey financially. “She still owes me money too, maybe she can finally pay me back now,” Jesse wrote, “been a sugar daddy for her for far too long so she could get help.”
Tom has yet to comment publicly.

Am I going to miss Kristen Doute on Vanderpump Rules? To a degree, yes. She always delivered on the show without even meaning to. Who else tells their boss to suck a dick and thinks they were wrongfully terminated? Only Kristen. Do I agree with Bravo’s decision to fire her? Absolutely. Do I think what her and Stassi Schroeder did to Faith Stowers was horrible and ignorant? Yes. Will Pump Rules be okay without them? Yes. You can have great reality TV without bigots.
At one point in time, I really enjoyed watching Kristen. She always displays an inability to learn anything from her mistakes. She also never bothers to take a minute to think before she addresses basically anyone in her life. Kristen is, of course, repeating the same patterns on Twitter.
The latest scenario to showcase how tone-deaf she is, began with a simple tweet: “Idaho. Time to change your medical Marijuana laws. This country has much more important things to focus on. I’m so grossed out.” She’s making this too easy, right?
Kristen expounded on this tweet, sharing, “My younger brother lives in Idaho. Soldier. Crohns. Prefers not to be medicated with opiates. Speak before you think [emphasis mine] and when you do, please speak with kindness. You don’t always know people as you think you do and don’t know what other people are going through.” “Speak before you think” has to be her mantra. Typos aside, asking followers to “please speak with kindness” is incredibly rich coming from Kristen because she seems to only speak to people with anger and vitriol.
She then tweeted clarification about her mistake in the previous tweet. “I think we all get that I was frustrated and clearly meant think before you speak. Thanks for pointing it out in attempt to embarrass me with your emojis. Be kind to someone tomorrow.” Again, TOO EASY. Does she understand how persecuted she sounds? She is not a victim of anything! You be kind to people, Kristen.
Some followers called out the obvious hypocrisy, and because she’s never one to be silent when she should, Kristen responded with, “I understand a handful of you feel I don’t have a ‘right’ to speak out about anything at all. Please click unfollow. I hope you’ll then use that same passion and find words to help someone, fight against something and make a change. [prayer hands emoji and heart emoji].” Not only is Kristen acknowledging that she was canceled by Bravo for saying and doing horribly inappropriate things, but she’s asking other people to make a change. Nope. Kristen, you are just not one to talk right now.
After exhausting herself with defenses, she tweeted “goodnight” to her followers. The tweet included a quote from Lalah Delia, “she remembered who she was and the game changed.” Hilariously, the picture featuring the Delia quote spells her name incorrectly. Delia is a wellness educator, author, and Black activist. It isn’t clear if this is Kristen’s attempt to raise Black voices by including this tweet. Regardless, that quote is likely meaningful on a different level for Black women activists. Kristen tweeting it as a sort of defiant statement about who she is? Tone deaf.

What’s a crew to do when The Wellington has to stay docked for an entire charter? Looks like we’re about to find out on this week’s episode of Below Deck Mediterranean! In the closing moments of last week, Bugsy Drake brought a (literal) storm along for her return to Below Deck Med, and the torrential downpour isn’t letting up any time soon. Could this be a bad omen for the veteran second stew’s return?
But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s handle some housekeeping, shall we? Did anyone clock that Pete Hunziker has officially been removed from the show’s opening credits? It’s worth nothing, considering the lead deckhand was brusquely fired from the show after posting a perversely racist image on social media. In the aftermath of his firing, Bravo and 51 Minds vowed to “minimize” the yachtie’s appearances throughout the remainder of the season. This seems like an obvious first step. However, we can still expect to see less of Pete as the charter season goes on. (Well, and Bravo’s editing catches up with his ouster).
Back to Bugsy, ya’ll. Since her time on the Sirocco in Season 2, the second stew has been working on a private/charter boat as a chief stew. In her confessional, she admits the only person she’d take a step down on the hierarchy for is Captain Sandy Yawn. And also the Bravo paycheck, of course. Captain Sandy is thrilled to have Bugsy aboard, as is Malia White. Less enthused is Hannah Ferrier, who exchanges an awkward hug with her old nemesis in the laundry room.
The chief stew lays it out in her confessional: she’s not about to trust — or befriend — her fellow Below Deck star. Not after Bugsy led the charge against Hannah back in Season 2 for her inappropriate relationship with a charter guest. Or for telling Hannah point blank that she was a full-on “lousy chief stew” in their days aboard the Sirocco. Bugsy on the other hand promises she’s keeping an open mind when it comes to her one-time frenemy. She’s even hoping she and Hannah can actually “balance out each other’s strengths” as a team. This mostly means Bugsy will be in charge of table decor for the rest of the charter season.
During a preference sheet meeting with Hannah, Malia, and Chef Kiko Lorran, Captain Sandy gives us an overview of the upcoming charter’s guests: a New York financial consultant who really loves his dog and his pack of BFFS. They’re requesting a picnic on the beach (weather permitting) and a six-course tasting dinner from Kiko (plus dessert). Sounds pretty simple, right? As the roving band of entitled jet-setters come aboard, the crew realizes the bad weather will officially keep them docked for the first day. Naturally, Hannah complains that this turn of events will make her job one thousand percent harder since it will be solely up to the interior team to distract the guests from the fact that, you know, they’re not out at sea.
Distraction #1: Food! First, Kiko serves up a delicious snack of cranberry cheese, truffle, and manchego, with a bottle of Belevedere. (The alcohol comes courtesy of Bugsy‘s innate ability to anticipate guests’ needs. Somewhere down in the crew mess Hannah is seething.) Then comes a surf and turf lunch of filet mignon and shrimp with grilled asparagus and fresh truffle. Thumbs up all around for Kiko.
Distraction #2: A poker party! Considering this group of guests usually celebrates their friendship with a yearly trip to Vegas, the deck crew throws together a Sin City-style poker afternoon, headed up by Alex Radcliffe. However, the cigars and the revelry aren’t quite enough of a distraction for the deckhand to admit he’s already crushing on Bugsy. (Rob Westergaard‘s simmering romance with Jessica More takes a back seat to the stew’s arrival this week.) Or for Pete to be caught texting her predecessor Lara Flumiani from the crew mess. But frankly, the less said about that, the better. Let’s just say you dodged a bullet, Lara.
Distraction #3: A night at the club! What do you do when your boat is stuck on the dock? Send the guests ashore, of course. Following dinner — and a snippy moment between Hannah and the primary’s douchiest pal over oysters — all the guests disembark for a the promise of a VIP table at Tito’s. However, this swiftly turns into a nightmare when they bring back a whole party full of “friends” they met at the club. On lates, poor Hannah and Alex are left to oversee the drunken antics until well after 5 a.m. But as they say, what happens in Vegas, err, I mean Mallorca…
The next morning, the rain seems to have subsided. The wind has thankfully died down. Captain Sandy is anxious to get the boat out into the water. Well, that is until one charter guest asks Jessica if she can take a walk on the pier and keeps everyone waiting until after 9 a.m. By the time the guest flounces back to The Wellington in her neon yellow Balenciaga hoodie and matching slides, the wind has picked up again and that’s right, they’re stuck on the dock for another day due to the wind reaching over 20 knots.
Pete also causes a major problem as the crew attempts to disembark by releasing the wrong ground line. (Hmm…I thought you were a captain, Sweet Pete?) Naturally, the misogynist gives major attitude over the radio, blaming his error on Malia and giving lip to Captain Sandy. By the time they’ve aborted the departure plan altogether, Malia is ready to lose it on her lead deckhand. Captain Sandy may have been oblivious to his sarcasm in the moment, but you’d better believe it wasn’t lost on the bosun. Pete describes working under Malia as a “constant ego check” and complains that she always has to have the last word. Hate to tell you this, but that’s what it means to have a boss, sweetie. Of course, being stuck tied to the dock for the second day in a row leads us to…
Distraction #3: Toy Island and a beach picnic! If Sandy can’t leave the dock, every single water toy on The Wellington is coming out to play. Admit it. Were you even a little surprised? Anyone who’s been watching Below Deck Med for more than a single episode knows how much Sandy loves her toys. However, this time her strategy is all smoke and mirrors. Let’s give the guests the appearance of a good time despite still being in the exact same spot we picked them up in yesterday, OK?
With Hannah still asleep from working the night before, Bugsy launches into chief stew mode to prep the beach picnic. She creates an entire checklist for Jessica, differentiates between plastic cups and glassware, and loads everything up for the deck crew to haul to the beach in a snap. But surprise! The primary wants his dog, and the group’s extra pals from the night before, to join in on the beach, so this party just got a bit more complicated.
As Malia takes the tender to the beach, Jessica finally wakes Hannah, who surprisingly pays Bugsy a compliment and admits she actually needs her as second stew. Wow! Is there a tiny sliver of hope for Hannah and Bugs this season? Here’s hoping, (except not really). Meanwhile, over on the beach, Rob informs Malia that Pete is still pouting over their earlier confrontation. However, with an entire beach picnic to set up, the bosun doesn’t have much time to worry about her sexist underling’s constantly-bruised ego. I mean, do any of us?
Just as the crew gets the party going, Captain Sandy gets a call from some sort of Mallorcan beach patrol. Apparently, no tents or glass are allowed on the sand. This means the crew has to scramble to take down literally everything they just set up. Ouch. Hannah sneaks in one final distraction, convincing the guests to go swimming while they dismantle the tent. However, if there’s no shade (or booze), everyone would rather go back to the boat. Oh and by the way, they’re bringing four more people back for dinner. Remember that six-course tasting dinner they requested? It just multiplied to the tune of 72 dishes for poor Kiko. However, we’ll have to wait until next week to see how he pulls the gargantuan feat off.

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way introduced the final couple of the season, Tim and Melyza. These two fit right in nicely with the rest of the train wrecks on the show. They don’t seem to be as tragic as some, but there is still time for that to change.
Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee‘s new apartment is not what they expected. Tim reveals the real reason he’s moving to Colombia. Brittany Banks has doubts about her decision to move to Jordan. Let’s get straight to the recap!
Brittany begins to see a different side of her fiancé, Yazan Abo Horira. When she offends him by bringing alcohol to his country, he becomes a totally different person. The two have an intense standoff outside of the airport, which leads to Brittany crying in the car. She has only been in Jordan for a short time and is already realizing she made a big mistake.
After a screaming match in the car, Yazan just drops her off at the hotel. She drowns her sorrows in the tequila she brought from home. I don’t know what this girl was expecting… Did she think they were going to drink and party when she arrived? I would feel sorry for her, if she wasn’t absolutely clueless.
It’s the day of Deavan’s arrival and Jihoon is just packing to leave home. He is worried that he will disappoint his mother- in- law with his lack of preparation for her daughter. Yep, sounds about right! Jihoon and his parents arrive at the airport to welcome Deavan, the children, and her mother. He is extremely nervous about Deavan’s mother, Alicia interacting with his parents. His concerns definitely aren’t unfounded. This woman is extremely brash, to say the least.
After nearly smothering Jihoon’s parents with a hug, she begins complaining and cursing soon thereafter. As they drive towards the apartment, everyone begins to realize that it may not be what they expected. I don’t know why Jihoon didn’t go check out the area, before bringing his family to the location. Something tells me Alicia is going to whip Jihoon into either shape or frenzy, before she leaves South Korea.
Tim met Melyza while out at a bar. They hit it off right away, while she was working as an au pair in the United States. She planned to move to Texas after dating long distance, but Tim did something to lose her trust. To prove his love for her, Tim and his cat are moving to Colombia. Although they still have several issues, they both are willing to try and make things work.
Tim meets with friends to disclose that he is moving to Columbia in a week to be with Melyza. He reveals that he cheated on her and that is the reason she no longer wants to move to the U.S. His friends are completely shocked by his indiscretion. They can’t believe Tim jeopardized his relationship and hurt such a sweet woman. Melyza must have made an impression on Tim’s friends, everyone took her side.
Kenneth Niedermeier shares an emotional goodbye with his family as he leaves to start his new life in Mexico. Leaving the security of your family is never easy, hopefully, it’s worth it. But if there is one couple who I feel has a real shot at true love, it’s this one.
I just hope Armando Rubio’s family embraces their son’s lifestyle and Kenneth. Both men will need the support as they start their new beginning.
This episode we get to learn a little more about Biniyam. He is a personal trainer and MMA fighter. He met his pregnant girlfriend, Ariela while she was waiting for a taxi outside of his practice. Move over Sojaboy, Biniyam is also an aspiring recording artist. Instead of “Baby Girl Lisa”, he is working on a new song entitled “Baby Cool”.
Biniyam’s friends are worried that he may be repeating the mistakes of his past. After having a child with another American woman, for some reason she left and took their child. He hopes that his love story with Ariela will be completely different.
