Tyler Cameron Reveals Horse Fears and Shock Phobia He Tried To Beat on Special Forces

Even the hunkiest guys have their fears. Mr. T’s character on The A-Team was afraid of flying. Indiana Jones hates snakes. Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron has a fear of his own too, and it’s horses.

But before we start teasing Tyler about his equinophobia, it turns out that he has a pretty solid reason for the fear. In a recent interview with The Sun, he dished on his recent stint on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. He also revealed exactly why he has such a beef with horses.

No horse hockey here

Of course, we all saw Tyler come face to face with a horse during his season of The Bachelorette. He and Hannah Brown went on a horseback riding date, which he later called a “nightmare” because he was shaking the whole time. Those jitters had nothing to do with Hannah or the reality TV cameras capturing his every move – it had everything to do with the four-legged beast he was forced to ride.

Now, Tyler has explained exactly why he doesn’t mess with horses. Like most adulthood problems, this is 100% related to childhood trauma.

“One of my really good friends got kicked in the face by a horse as a kid,” Tyler revealed. “And it was after that I didn’t want to be around a horse ever again.”

Special Forces is all about putting yourself to the test and facing your fears. Luckily for Tyler, this season had no horseback riding component. Instead, he got to face another one of his fears – heights.

“I’ve never been on anything tall before, I guess, and that stuff scared me,” Tyler explained. “I’d say I’m still afraid of them, but [production] definitely made me get uncomfortable.”

You can watch Tyler conquer at least one of his fears on Season 2 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. It airs on FOX, Monday nights at 9/8c.

Naturally, when Tyler revealed he would one day show everything – and I mean everything – he has to offer to his fans, the topic of OnlyFans came up. So, would the former Bachelorette alum be interested in making some extra coins by flashing for a fee?

“Are you gonna do OnlyFans ever?” Andy asked, ready to hit subscribe. “No. I’m for the people, it’s free,” Tyler teased. This came after he promised a picture which would showcase exactly how he kept his hair downstairs. Yes, it was one of THOSE episodes.

“There’s a picture that’ll show everything soon,” Tyler revealed. Brynn looked more excited than she’s ever been and gushed, “Oh my god, and he’s a Democrat!” She then said she was just joking, “but it’s democratic to give everything to the people.” Andy quickly turned the topic of conversation away from politics. That can lead to fiery disagreements.

Other “manly” questions included how much he could bench press, what he thought was the manliest facial hair to have, and if he’d ever snuck a peek at other dude’s junk in the locker room. “Yeah, we’re all meat watchers. You’ve gotta see what you’re going up against.”

I’m off for a cold shower and a lie down.

Below Deck Med’s Tumi Mhlongo Addresses Lack of Diversity in Yachting

Tumi Mhlongo is proudly stepping into the role of chief stew on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8. Not only because her hard work and dedication on Below Deck Down Under, coupled with a fantastic attitude, paid off with this promotion. But also for what it means for the community she is representing.

Tumi is a native of South Africa. The country is marred by a history of apartheid, and the population still struggles with race relations in general. So her promotion into a position of management holds greater meaning than just the professional credentials.

Of course, all peoples of non-Caucasian descent can be inspired by Tumi’s story. And as the new season premieres, she is speaking out about the significance of her role, as well as the lack of diversity in the yachting industry.

There are few people of color in management positions

“I’m gonna just say there are not a lot of people of color that are in chief stew or management positions in the industry,” Tumi told The Messenger. “They tend to like to keep us down under. I think I only know three so far. There’s probably more, but it’s difficult, especially with a bigger size vessel.”

It’s interesting to note that Tumi is speaking of the yachting industry as a whole, but the statement rings true for the Below Deck series. Therefore casting for the micro-environment that is the reality TV show is a true indicator of the whole population in the yachting industry.

As for the symbolism of being chief stew in a predominantly white industry, Tumi admitted to feeling a lot of pressure.

“That’s definitely something that made me really nervous, because you don’t want to fail. You don’t want to give them a reason not to put you in this position. So I really can’t screw this up,” she concluded.

Matt Walsh WILL Be On Dancing with the Stars After WGA Deal

The WGA strike might finally be coming to a close. It came out late Sunday night that the writers reached a tentative agreement with the studios. Nothing is set in stone with the union members still needing to ratify the agreement, but things are looking good for certain programming. Writers can’t go back to work just yet but were told to withdraw from the picket lines.

Notably, the actors are still on strike, with no end in the near future for their ongoing protests. The writers are also hoping to reach an agreement wherein they will bar themselves from working on projects that actors are striking against. But even with that provision given to the writers, some programming can return.

Programs like Dancing with the Stars for example. DWTS does employ WGA writers, but the show’s actors don’t act in the same capacity they would on a scripted project. WGA and SAG-AFTRA member Matt Walsh has taken DWTS fans on quite the ride the past few weeks, but he has confirmed that he’s back.

ABC, Matt Walsh, DWTS, viewers – everyone wins

A representative for Matt confirmed his return, as reported by Deadline. “With the hopeful resolution and vote with the WGA, Dancing with the Stars would no longer be a struck show therefore all cast would be able to return. This includes WGA member Matt Walsh.”

Matt withdrew himself from the show just four days ago after finding out DWTS seemingly violated his union’s working parameters. While SAG-AFTRA voiced support for Season 32, Matt was likely waiting on confirmation from the WGA. It was no wonder he removed himself from the competition after picketers put pressure on him and two other actors.

It will be interesting to see if this series of events will play into Matt’s journey on the show at all. Matt must’ve missed a few days of practice, and even a few days could be vital in a competition like Dancing with the Stars.

So, Dancing with the Stars Season 32 is still expected to air on Tuesday, September 26 at 8/7c on ABC and Disney Plus.
