She may float like a butterfly but she sure stings like a bitch! Leah McSweeney has been, I dare say, a perfect addition to this season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
So far, the RHONY newbie seems to have hit it off with each of her fellow ‘Wives. She’s chucked tiki torches in the Hamptons, exposed the ladies to the Russian Bathhouse, stuck up for Tinsley Mortimer and called out everything from white supremacy to Sonja Morgan‘s unending delusions. However, it appears Leah‘s budding friendship with Ramona Singer hits the rocks during the cast trip to Newport, R.I. due to her drinking. Ahead of the episode, she took to social media to address the OG’s issues with her and trust me, it’s a takedown of epic proportions.
Leah kicked off her lengthy post by explaining her state of mind while filming tonight’s drunken antics. “Hurricane season is here and tonight it’s ‘Hurricane Leah,'” she captioned the mirror selfie. “I want to preface this episode by saying I went on this trip to Rhode Island not really wanting to even go. I didn’t know the women that well at this point, and I was in an already-vulnerable mood.
She also addressed the drama surrounding wanting her sister to come on the trip, though it appears part of her caption has since been deleted. “I wanted my sister there for support. She was also six months postpartum and looking forward to her first baby-free overnight trip. Moms: haven’t we all been there?” the RHONY newbie wrote.
Here’s the deleted part: “So yes, I was upset when Ramona rescinded her invite for the third time. My sister is my best friend and beyond. You just don’t fuck with her. Ever!! Did I get wasted and act crazy at dinner? Absolutely. Did I do anything that none of the other women haven’t done before? Nope.”
Leah certainly has a point there. While we have yet to see exactly how naked wasted she gets in tonight’s episode, the other ‘Wives have literally have not a single (wooden) leg to stand on between them if they’re being judgmental. Over the years we’ve seen Dorinda Medley stab herself in the hand while sloshed in Cartagena during Season 10. Luann de Lesseps infamously fell into a bush in Mexico in Season 9. (Furthermore, there’s also, you know, that whole ordeal of getting drunk, assaulting a cop and getting arrested after slipping off her handcuffs back in 2017…) And don’t even get me started on Sonja‘s constantly problematic, sexually aggressive blackouts in virtually every episode.
However, Leah gets back to the problem at hand: that old Singer Stinger. “But enough about me. Tune in tonight for Ramona,” she concludes. “Watch her get embarrassed by MY ‘bad’ behavior. Yes, you heard it right: the woman who defecates on hotel room floors (and expects others to clean it up), who calls her own friends fat, and who tries to flex on IG during a pandemic is supposedly embarrassed that I got shitfaced. Please!”
Several Bravolebrities also expressed their support for the rookie in her plight against Ramona. “So well [said],” Dorinda commented, while Season 12’s unofficial Friend of the Housewives Elyse Slaine wrote, “Love you and love your sister! Glad we got to meet her! I made some mistakes on that trip, and you know I felt terrible about it. Ramona told me to have her back, so I did… Big Mistake!!!”
Even Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider also added her two cents, commenting, “Love you girlfriend!! Can’t wait to watch!” (Who would’ve even guessed she and Leah knew each other?)
While we all love when Ramona becomes a complete and total monster, all I can say is step aside and bow down to Leah, bitches. There’s officially a new gangster in town and we have no choice but to stan.

Yes. You read that headline correctly. Stassi Schroeder from Vanderpump Rules is tired of being called a “mean girl.” Newsflash, lady! We are tired of you BEING a mean girl. I love petty drama but ugh. It’s honestly hard to even know where to begin with her. On ean episode this season, Stassi whines (over wine, HA!) to Beau Clark about how she isn’t allowed to “outgrow” her friendship with Kristen Doute. Like who said that?
Stassi is over her former co-witch Kristen. Shocking considering she is still conveniently friends with her ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor who cheated on her, lied to her face, and has generally been a terrible person forever. Stassi was also quick to make up with Katie Maloney when she was returning to the show after leaving post-Season 3. I mean, she can forgive, when it suits her. And rather than keep the peace with her longtime TV bestie, Stassi has taken to her podcast to continue her complaints.
Stassi commented on her issues with Kristen during an episode of her podcast Straight Up With Stassi. According to Us Weekly, Stassi said “I would have been sad [watching the finale] if the reunion went a little differently. But I got so annoyed at the reunion and pissed off at people that I’m like, ‘F—k this anyway.'”
Stassi went on to say, “I’m so sick of people giving me a hard time because I’m not allowed to chose who I want to hang out with.” Girl. Not only was Kristen your sole friend when you returned to this show, you run a business with her. A business you started with the clout you gained from being on a show. A show that she is a part of and helped you reintegrate into. A show that launched your ability to even write a book, have a podcast, and make wearing an outfit of the day something resume worthy.
Stassi continued saying “If I hear that I am a mean girl one more time for making my own decisions one more time I’m going to be like, ‘Fine. I’m a f—king mean girl,’” Okay. So do it.
I need Stassi to find her seat. She is so unable to list one tangible thing wrong with Kristen that in the season finale she makes fun of her using the word “thrive.” Like, good one. That’s really all she had to say, despite claiming, “This is the opposite of a black-and-white situation.”
“These feelings started to develop two years ago.” So bring your 2-year-long CVS receipt of complaints and wrongdoings. And spare me the Brian Carterdetails. Seriously. I’d love some reasonable argument between any of this original cast at some point. They’re all just clinging to the show to expand their appropriately lackluster beer cheese, t-shirt, and hashtag day(?) ventures.
Sassi is seriously so unaware she told her podcast listeners, “We need a spinoff with those of us who are in this transition period…We’re too old to do the stupid s—t I used to do on seasons 1 and 2 of Vanderpump Rules. Life is a little different now. I’ve grown up a tad but we’re too young to be Housewives material. Can someone find a transitional show for us?”
Hate to break it to you girl, but Kristen is already the same age as Leah McSweeney from Real Housewives of New York. Shockingly Jax is the same age as Teddi Mellencamp from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And you, Stassi, are roughly the same age as Candiace Dillard, Eva Marcille, and you’re DEFINITELY older than the OG baddie Jo De La Rosa. You’re just not as interesting *shrug*

After many episodes with minimum plot lines, it seems like Real Housewives of New York is going to get interesting tonight. The cast heads to Newport, Rhode Island for a weekend getaway.
Leah McSweeney wants to invite her sister Sarah McSweeney. I don’t blame her since she basically got thrown into this group of sharks. Having her sister around might be comforting. However, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan are not on board. Instead, they want to be cliquey; i.e. sticking to the paid cast members for the trip invite list. And, yes, that somehow includes Elyse Slaine.
Not only that, but Ramona attempts to “mother” Leah, which includes monitoring her behavior and her drinking. Leah loses her cool at the clambake after all that criticism from Ramona.
And, of course, Dorinda Medley’s inexplicable issues with Tinsely Mortimer continue from the previous episodes this season.

Elyse Slaine has been a quiet but tangible presence so far this season on The Real Housewives of New York City. Once rumored during filming to be a Friend of the Housewives for Season 12, many fans were surprised when the RHONY newbie didn’t make the official cast.
Recently, we here are Reality Tea covered a social media kerfuffle where Elyse clarified her role on the show compared to Season 11’s Barbara Kavovit. It seems the rookie got wind of our article, and let’s just say she doesn’t seem to happy about it.
Despite not being an official Friend, Elyse has made appearances in multiple episodes so far this year. She was the sole voice calling out Luann de Lesseps for breaking her sobriety. Elyse tried to mediate between Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley in their contentious hallway fight last week. She is also in attendance during this week’s cast trip to Newport, R.I. She’s even getting her own confessionals to comment on the drama between the ladies! All of it feels eerily similar to Barbara K‘s role within the cast last year.
However, when Elyse took to social media to explain the difference between her status on the show and the construction mogul’s, the RHONY guest felt her clarification was misconstrued in our story. (As a reminder, Elyse tweeted the following: “Barbara was suppose to have an Apple, but it didn’t work out, so she was made “a friend,” which several fans saw as shots fired at Luann’s former soldier, I mean pal.)
“I never ‘shaded Barbara Kavovit,’ as written by Reality Tea. Nor do I explain why she wasn’t full time,” Elyse tweeted in a statement regarding our post. “I don’t know Barbara, and I have no clue as to what happened. From what I saw of her on the show, I would like her.”
Ultimately, the experience seems to have been a crash course for the newbie in the power of Housewives Twitter. Because trust us, it can be savage out there if you don’t know what you’re getting into.
“I didn’t see this article. I need to be careful about my tweets. Yikes,” she wrote in response to another tweet. “I never meant to shade Barbara. I never met her, and have no idea why she left the show. Funny how a benign comment made headlines, and was reinterpreted into something negative.”
We’ll leave it up to you to decide whether the newbie was being shady towards Barbara or not, but either way, thanks for the shoutout, Elyse!

Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd have built an impressive empire. Equally impressive is their ability to hire super-hot people and make a reality show about their personal dramas against the backdrop of the couple’s luxe restaurants. If you’re obsessed anything like me, you’ve visited all of their establishments on the West Coast.
This is part of what makes the Vanderpump Rules mastermind, LVP, such a genius. She knew that creating a series based on her staff would bring in business. Not just local business but business afar, from people who are fans of the show. Since LA is currently in lockdown due to COVID, Lisa’s establishments have been closed. This is a reminder that we’re living in desperate times. And desperate times apparently call for desperate measures.
As TMZ exclusively reported, a man wearing a blue face mask, equipped with a backpack and shears attempted to break into Pump on Sunday night. Law enforcement shared with TMZ that the West Hollywood Sheriff’s office received a call from three concerned eye-witnesses at about 7 pm. Within minutes, seven police units arrived at the scene, along with a helicopter. They “detained the suspect.”
The response was so intense because this man has “been seen in the area before.” TMZ also reported that police, “spoke to reps for the WeHo joint and they decided NOT to press charges on the suspect,” because, “no real damage was done.” That is really nice of Ken and Lisa! Ken even told TMZ the burglar “was desperate for a Pump-tini. We can’t blame him.”
Apparently, once the perpetrator figured out he was spotted by people on the street, he “put the shears back in his backpack and stood there as if nothing was amiss.” The witnesses even took a picture of him. Neither Ken or Lisa was at the restaurant at the time. While I enjoyed Ken’s statement to TMZ, I think the burglar probably wanted the fried goat cheese balls.

I have to admit, ever since “that b**ch from Clark” Yovanna Momplaisir jumped on the Real Housewives of Atlanta scene, I wasn’t exactly a fan. She ruined a perfectly good dinner party trying to get a name for herself. Then she was a key player in the whole Snake Gate debacle this season. Well, really, she was the fall guy for Nene Leakes.
But all that changed for me when Yovanna single-handedly saved the RHOA reunion. Not much was happening until she was brought in for part 3, and she made her limited time count. Just before she went on, NeNe stomped off, never to return. Yovanna alleges it’s because NeNe knew Yovanna was coming with receipts. And she was no longer going to be NeNe’s pawn in this mess. Yovanna told us that NeNe asked her to record her cast mates talking smack on her. While Yovanna promised to do so, she really didn’t. When NeNe let her take the fall, Yovanna decided that the thirst to be on the show wasn’t worth being a villain.
Now Yovanna has taken her beef with NeNe one step further. According to BET, Yovanna just dropped a diss track about NeNe on her Instagram. In the track, Yovanna alleges that NeNe ran from her right before she was due on. The lyrics say, “I was invited, I came now you running from me / I told, and showed the kinda b***h I could be.” Excuse me while I oop.
The track continues, “Oh you pressed, execs checking for me / Hand in my purse, saying I’m working for free / You mad, networks approaching me / Bravo, WE, first on TLC, why she mad at me.” This is alluding to different executives at various networks approaching Yovanna. Not sure I believe that one but maybe she’s just using her artistic license.
And we recently reported thatYovanna might have just earned herself a peach thanks to all this. So maybe I’m wrong. But Yovanna seems perfectly happy to be in the RHOA spotlight for now.
One such person who might not feel the same? NeNe. Both before and after the reunion, NeNe alluded several times that she was done. Could “that b**ch from Clark” have been the final nail in NeNe’s coffin?

It can be hard to keep up with the cast of 90 Day Fiance. So many of them have gone on to spin-offs for the network and their social media is flooded with new ventures. Boom Bod, flat tummy tea, you name it, they’re selling it. Then there are all the fun gossip pieces on each one of them. But Larissa Dos Santos Lima takes the cake for keeping the tabloids busy and her fans talking.
We thought we saw the last of her once she and 90 Day husband Colt Johnson got divorced. But Larissa was determined to stay in the spotlight, Colt-eee be damned! She is well known for having an on-again off-again relationship with Eric Nichols. She even claimed to have a stalker. And despite being fully divorced from Colt, it was recently announced that she would be back for another season of 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After.
Larissa isn’t stopping there and looks like she’s ready to diversify that portfolio even more! According to The Blast, Larissa recently took to her Instagram Live to announce she’s creating an OnlyFans account. She’s actually not the first one to do this from the cast. Stephanie Matto from the most recent installment of the franchise has an account. So does 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way alum Evelin Villegas and Corey Rathgeber.
Despite the racy content that OnlyFans is known for, Larissa wants to clear a few things up. She said, “People are posting in the press that I’m going to be a porn star. No, I’m not going to be a porn star. Half a million dollars. $500,000, I would do.” At least she would be doing it for a fair price? Larissa clarified that her OnlyFans account will be “sweet, sexy”.
She added, “So I came here because I got a lot of questions, this and that, people posting that I was going to be a porn star. Driving me nuts dad. It’s not true.”
But all this fame has come at a price for Larissa. The Blast also previously reported that Larissa spoke out about her depression. At the time, she wrote, “Just sad and depressed more than usual. After so many [seasons] the ‘spotlight’ do not attract me anymore. Don’t see the light in the end of tunnel anymore.”
She continued,“People with anxiety and depression, know that even when you take your meds, you exercise, you eat right, that the sadness can come back and consume you. Even when your life seems so blessed, the dark clouds may hover.”
Larissa concluded with positivity, stating, “But…I’ve been through worse. This too shall pass. For anyone out there, I send you a virtual hug. We will get over it.” I’m glad Larissa can recognize that all of this is fleeting, including fame.

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan’s relationship is probably the first long-standing boat-mance that we’ve encountered on any Below Deck show. Watching their interactions, though, it really feels like the relationship has passed the point of expiration. Despite the endless bickering on deck and Paget’s ongoing laundry room flirtations with Georgia Grobler, these two are still going strong in real-time. So maybe it’s a trick of editing on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
Either way, we know that Georgia’s confession of her feelings to Paget AND Ciara next episode will not yield the results that she may have expected.
Both Georgia and Chief Stew Jenna MacGillivray spoke to In Touch Weekly about the strange love triangle that has been going on this season.
Jenna claimed to be in the dark about Paget’s flirting. Probably because she hasn’t been in the laundry room at all since the start of the season. Jenna said, “I didn’t see the intensity of those things until I watched the show.”
Jenna said that the flirting crossed line, despite neither party acting on it further. “I do think that it was inappropriate, and I think that that should be addressed,” Jenna said, “and I think that Ciara and Paget probably addressed that within their own relationship. That’s between them. But they’re still together and there’s a strong love there.”
Ciara teased Georgia with a threesome innuendo, and maintained the confidence that Paget may flirt, but would be going nowhere.
Jenna said of Ciara’s confidence that, “she was in the mind frame that she really stuck with which was if [Georgia] can get him, she can have him. I think she’s very confident in herself and comfortable knowing that he wasn’t going to leave her, and he didn’t. It wasn’t on the table, you know. He didn’t make a move.”
Of course, Jenna acknowledges human folly. It’s also a good way to explain her relationship with Adam Glick. “People are human,” Jenna said, “it’s absurd to think that we’re only attracted to one person.”
Georgia added her thoughts on Paget and Ciara’s relationship. Though they “bash heads” at work, Georgia said, “I think [Paget and Ciara] are a very, very good couple. They’re great for each other. They compliment each other, like in their personalities.”
“If I had a hat, I would take it off,” Georgia applauded how the couple balance work and play.
