Taylor Swift has once again proved why she remains unrivaled in street style by pairing a $1,000 Stella McCartney peplum top with a $4,000 Fendi bag. The singer was spotted out and about in New York City on May 14, channeling modern business-casual vibes. This was one of her many recent sightings in The Big Apple.

Taylor Swift wore the Stella McCartney Poplin Peplum Shirt, featured in Look 18 of the House’s Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection. The peplum hem puts an architectural twist on the classic poplin shirt. It played with volume and proportion while maintaining a tailored finish. She rolled up the long sleeves to make them three-quarters. The slim black leather belt cinching the shirt at the waist highlighted the hem’s flared volume.

The lower half of the Grammy winner’s outfit maintained the sophistication with a pair of high-waisted, wide-leg trousers in a muted shade. The fabric’s fluid drape made it easy for her to move. Meanwhile, its relaxed fit contrasted with the belted peplum top’s more rigid structure. This combination of a cinched waist and expansive leg line created a balanced, elongated silhouette.

Swift elevated her look with the Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Petite bag, worth $4,500. The black padded nappa leather bag featured a classic twist lock on both sides, a top handle, and an adjustable, removable shoulder strap. She was using the top handle in the photos. Further, her accessories included small silver earrings, the Cartier Love Unlimited Bracelet, and the Cartier Santos Demoiselle Watch.

“The Fate of Ophelia” hitmaker completed her look with The Row Awar Leather Sandals. The black footwear coordinated with the belt around her waist. She wore her long blonde hair in soft waves with full bangs. Meanwhile, her makeup featured a signature bold red lip and black winged eyeliner.

The global superstar turned heads in a vintage-inspired plunging skirt suit that was both sophisticated and incredibly daring. Styled by the famous duo Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi, Lopez chose a neutral-toned ensemble that highlighted her famous curves and showcased her fearless approach to high fashion and timeless glamor.

The centerpiece of Jennifer Lopez’s look was a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier SS04 skirt suit. The blazer featured a very deep, plunging neckline that dipped dangerously low, flaunting a bold and confident style. The jacket featured intricate textures and structured shoulders, blending classic tailoring with a modern, provocative twist. Its warm, peachy-nude tone perfectly complemented her bronzed skin, making the entire outfit look seamless.  

JLo paired the blazer with a matching midi skirt that added a touch of playfulness to the sharp look. The skirt featured a satin-like finish and a dramatic ruffled hemline that moved as she walked. This combination of a structured top and a flowing, feminine bottom created a perfect balance. The mixed fabrics, ranging from textured patterns to smooth satin, showed off the high-quality craftsmanship of the Gaultier design. To complete the outfit, Lopez wore Femme LA Opera Sandals. 

These minimalist heels featured thin straps that lengthened her legs without taking away from the main outfit. Moreover, her accessories were equally luxurious. These included Dior Tribales earrings and a stunning Rose Dior Pré Catelan ring. The pink rose detail on the ring added a soft, romantic touch to the sharp fashion choice.  

She wore her hair in long, sleek waves that fell over her shoulders, and her makeup was classic JLo. She went with a soft smoky eye and a nude lip, keeping the focus on her radiant glow. Overall, Lopez showed that vintage fashion can still look incredibly fresh and exciting. She looked powerful, elegant, and ready to take over the screen.
