Oh, Lisa Vanderpump, what a tangled web you weave. First, she has a lot to celebrate. Lisa has announced starting a new podcast and a new show about Vanderpump Dogs! I can’t wait to hear all about “ponies…and sex…or lack thereof.” A regular rainbows and butterflies kind of gal. Unfortunately, though, LVP’s image has also been hit with quite a few blows recently.
Vila Blanca has closed for good, and even Adrienne Maloof is coming forward to remind us of all the storylines LVP has constructed over the years. I think the running total is at like 5? Well, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there’s a reprieve in sight for this lady in pink.
According to E! News who received documents about the issue, Lisa is facing yet ANOTHER class-action lawsuit from a former SUR employee. This employee, Olivia Beverly Hanson, was never featured on Vanderpump Rules, but apparently has worked at the restaurant from October 2019 to January 2020. Her responsibilities included seating patrons, confirming reservations, and answering phones. Like an off-camera Lala Kent, I guess.
Olivia filed the lawsuit, on July 31 on behalf of her herself and others who had worked at SUR. The lawsuit claims that Lisa and Ken Todd have violated several California labor laws. Yikes! I wonder if that includes the gender discrimination Billie Lee has come forward to share? I digress.
Within these claims are accusations that Lisa and Ken failed to pay workers minimum and overtime wages, failed to provide proper meal and rest breaks, and failed to provide accurate wage statements or pay stubs at the end of their employment. I don’t know. Some of it seems a little nit picky. That said, this is targeted at a woman who spends time making sure her dogs have accessorized appropriately. She has time for details.
Keep in mind, this is coming after another lawsuit filed by a former employee in January who also alleged the violation of labor laws. Gotta keep that head on a swivel! Olivia’s lawsuit is seeking damages for wages earned and owed and damaged gratuities earned but not received, among other things. That seems fair enough.
Another source, however, shares that Olivia and the others who are suing are “disgruntled ex-employees that had been written up with many warnings by management and subsequently let go. Lisa and Ken do not tolerate anyone that may be abusive to their staff or to patrons.” Oh really? So then why is Jax Taylor still there? He’s been disgusting to almost every employee, including being misogynistic, homophobic, and transphobic. In a bar in WeHo of all places!!! I guess she tolerates some things…

Big Brother 22 starts tomorrow, and we’re all in for a treat with the first-ever non-Big Brother Over the Top first-night move-in. Tomorrow, we will meet the new houseguests and we’ll be in for yet another special first.
Big Brother 22 is set to be a major summer/fall special event with the second time in the past 20 plus seasons that we’ve had a house completely made up of past Big Brother players. We won’t know exactly who will be these houseguests, but we’re sure they’ll bring lots of excitement, drama, and expert gameplay.
Yesterday, we got a glimpse of the new Big Brother 22 house design. Today, CBS released an official press release we’ve learned that will get to see the gaming kick off right from the start. Big Brother 22 Live Feeds begin on Wednesday night after the West Coast broadcast.
This is specifically what the press release states:
BIG BROTHER Live Feeds: CBS All Access’ BIG BROTHER Live Feeds offer an in-depth, exclusive pass to the show across platforms. Fans will have the opportunity to watch all the action inside the BIG BROTHER house when the Live Feeds begin on Wednesday, August 5, after the west coast broadcast of the series premiere (after 11:30 PM, PT/2:30 AM, ET on Thursday, August 6). Feeds will be available through the CBS All Access subscription service.

This season viewers have watched Erika preparing to step onto the Broadway stage as Roxie in Chicago. Unfortunately, the show had to close in March of 2020 because of the coronavirus. Camille Grammer criticized Erika for using the show for self-promotion, and not featuring her real life. Erika has promoted her book and her music on the show a lot.
We also watched Erika verbally spar with Denise Richards’ husband, Aaron Phypers, during Season 10 of RHOBH. Erika does not appreciate husbands getting into housewives’ business.
On the show, she has often been called “cold,” and now someone is spilling the tea that Erika’s iciness is not from diamonds.
Former publicist Amir Yass ran down a list of the celebrities that he has worked with in his TikTok, which was posted on Instagram. He thought that Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and Scheana Shay were great. Erika? Amir called her a “nightmare.” Ouch!
Amir told ShowBiz Cheatsheet that his run-in with Erika might have contributed to him being fired. He explained, “So basically Diana Madison is this host and I was working with her PR team.”
“She was interviewing Erika Jayne but she couldn’t go to the live taping of the show so she was like, ‘Can you go? Make sure she gets on live TV and basically be her PR rep for the day,’” Amir stated. What could possibly go wrong?
He remembered that Erika was cold from the moment he arrived. “When I got there Erika was sitting in the corner with her friends. I went over and I was like, ‘On behalf of Diana Madison, my name is Amir. I work for the PR team.’ And she didn’t respond or even look at me,” he stated.
Amir knew Erika’s make-up artist, and they chatted about how singer Meghan Trainor’s make-up didn’t look good. Erika inserted herself into the discussion.
Amir said, “She literally stands up in between us and was like, ‘Don’t talk about your clients with this stranger!’” “I’m like, ‘Well we just met 30 minutes ago.’” Erika responded, “‘Doesn’t matter!’”
“[Erika] kept giving me dirty looks the whole day and I hadn’t known what I had done. Like was I not supposed to approach her? But I work for you,” he added.
When it was time for Erika to go onstage at Fox for a television interview to discuss her book, Pretty Mess, she allegedly gave Amir a hard time.
Later, Amir and his boss Diana met with Erika for an interview. When Diana re-introduced Amir, Erika commented “We’ve already met. I know who he is.” Brrr….
After the chilly interview, Erika supposedly called Amir’s boss from a private plane to complain about him. “Amir is a nightmare,” the RHOBH star allegedly said. Amir was fired a couple of weeks later, and he felt that his experience with Erika was a factor.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, more and more Bravolebrities are coming out with their own experiences contracting the virus.
Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Jennifer Aydin revealed she had the illness, along with her father and daughter. More recently, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, Sheree Whitfield contracted it as well. Now another RHOA former star has also divulged their diagnosis.
Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband, Peter Thomas, revealed in an Instagram video that he has contracted coronavirus. As reported by People, Peter announced his diagnosis on Sunday by telling his fans to take the pandemic seriously.
In the video, Peter is lying in bed and tells us, “I’m in bed, of course. I’ve been in bed now for the last eight days.” He explained his symptoms, saying, “It’s the most excruciating pain I could think of. My stomach [has been] a complete wreck for the last 8 days, pain [and] constant cramping. The pain is crazy. Chills all day and all night.” He goes on to say that he has experienced “cold sweats” and has to “constantly keep my body hydrated.” Peter also said he has no appetite, diarrhea and is throwing up.
He tells us that despite taking a test for coronavirus five times and testing negative, by the sixth time, he tested positive. “I’m going to tell you something, wear your mask, wear gloves and practice social distancing.”
Peter goes on to say that he thinks he contracted the virus after taking photos with fans. “People come up to me and ask me to take pictures all the time and they want me to have the mask off and they want to hug on me and they say they like me. I take those pictures, and every time I take those pictures, I’m praying to God that I don’t get this thing, but it caught up to me.”
Peter laments, “Your body is extremely sensitive, the slightest little thing, it’s constant pain everywhere. I can’t wait for this s— to be over.”
Finally, Peter says of his recovery, “I gotta be in bed for another seven days before they come and take the test again. I have to be negative twice before I can even think about outside. I guess I should be celebrating because here in Miami there’s 260 people dying every day for the last 7 days.” He explained, “I am celebrating because I’m still alive.”
We are wishing Peter a smooth and speedy recovery!

I have to admit, Love After Lockup is my ultimate guilty pleasure. While housewives will always have a special place in my heart, I’m not exactly embarrassed to admit that I watch it. Love After Lockup? I need to feel people out before actually admitting how into this show I am. I don’t know if it’s the dysfunction or the sheer anticipation of who is going to get used. But it’s quite the combo.
One couple that I just knew deep down wouldn’t make it was Daniel Valentine and Lizzy Copeland. How did I know? Well, it didn’t exactly take a genius to figure it out. Plus, it’s never a good sign when your relationship is reduced to having sex on the laundry room floor. But really, Lizzy seemingly struggled with alcohol and Daniel with drugs. That’s a hard combination to overcome for anyone, much less a newly freed inmate and his fiancé.
So, just as pretty much everyone predicted, Daniel and Lizzy didn’t get back together after breaking off their engagement on the show. And Daniel wasted literally no time moving on. While Lizzy was reduced to posting gym selfies for attention, Daniel married girlfriend, Zanna Valentine in July.
But now it sounds like Daniel is interested in spicing up his new marriage. That didn’t take much time at all. Soap Net reports that Daniel and his wife are interested in a “throuple.” For those virgin eyes out there, a throuple is a fun lil word for a threesome. Daniel recently posted on his Facebook about it. He says, “Ya’ll think we’re not serious….throuples are a thing and my wife and I are into it. We would like someone in our lives.” He ends it with some motivational words, “You can do anything. You only live once enjoy it.”
I can’t even get past the grammar and lack of punctuation let alone his admission. Now look, I’m no prude. But we can file this under “things I really didn’t need to know”. Cool, get your marriage poppin’ but leave us out of it.
But Daniel is giving his wife credit where credit is due, announcing that he’s clean and she plays a role in that. In another post he says, “Been rough through out this year but I’m thankful for those who are in it 100.” He goes on to say, “And you Zanna for sticking by y side showing me a greater path for a serious future the star are not the limit so to speak I love you momas [sic].”
Well, here’s to only living once.

Lawsuits, lawsuits! Get your piping hot lawsuits! Honestly, does anyone not have a lawsuit pending on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Even Denise Richards is getting in on the fun with a cease and desist this season! Now I know it’s not technically a lawsuit but it’s one step away.
But really, it’s kind of shocking how hard the cast is going in on Denise this season about not being who she says she is. Lisa Rinna might want Denise to “own it”. But if they are going to drag Denise for not “owning it”, they need to do some inventory of their own messes lives. It’s well known that Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky, had a massive lawsuit against him. Let us not forget our scam queen, Dorit Kemsley and husband PK Kemsley. Their gambling debts cannot go unnoticed! And finally, Erika Jayne’s husband, Tom Girardi has multiple suits against him. Shall we own that, ladies?
Luckily for Erika and Tom, at least one of those lawsuits is going away. According to The Blast, GS1 security company has dropped their claim against Tom for unpaid security bills. Given that Tom already had a much larger lawsuit against him, you might have missed this one entirely. We reported on it back in May but the piddly $53,000 GS1 was seeking is kind of a drop in the bucket to a rich man like Tom. At least as far as lawsuits go.
But back to the story. GS1 claims that they were hired by Tom in 2018 to provide security for their Pasadena home. Tom was set to pay $39/hour for the services, which seems kind of low to me. But what do I know about needing security? I can barely even grasp social security.
Anyway, GS1 claims Tom stopped paying his bill in September of 2019 but they continued services through January 31, 2020. The suit brought by GS1 says, “Defendant, without cause, stopped paying Plaintiff’s bill, and, on January 31, 2020, upon defendant’s breach of the agreement, Plaintiff ceased providing armed guard service. Defendant did not offer explanation for ceasing to pay as required by the terms of the agreement.” It continues, “Further, ‘plaintiff provided armed guard service from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the same rate of $39 per hour.’” The lawsuit was looking for the unpaid balance of $53,859 plus interest.
Now GS1 has dismissed all claims but have left the door somewhat open. Apparently, they filed the dismissal without prejudice, which mean they can refile the claim at a later date.
Are we going to talk about it on RHOBH? Doubtful. But at least it would give Erika a storyline for once.

Wow, this week’s Below Deck Mediterranean was hard to watch. I can’t be the only one who felt that way, right? Watching a tearful Chef Kiko Lorran be chewed up and spit out was not only painful but frankly unfair and all kinds of unnecessary. I mean, last week ended with the Brazilian ray of sunshine being summarily fired by Captain Sandy Yawn. In front of the rest of the crew. In the middle of a charter. And then, he was expected to carry on and rise to the occasion for an entire day and a half after being told his food is terrible.
Tonight’s episode picks right back up in the middle of Sandy informing Kiko that he’ll be done once they reach the dock. And honestly, it isn’t any less frustrating to watch the second time around. In her confessional, the captain admits she likes Kiko. (If you don’t, you have a heart of stone.) But she insists that leading a crew isn’t about liking them, it’s about them doing their jobs correctly. But here’s the main issue with Sandy’s leadership style. Yes you have to find capable employees who can execute their responsibilities. But even more importantly, you have to create an environment as a leader where every person on your crew is primed to succeed and be their best selves. And that doesn’t equal micromanaging every single thing they do and constantly criticizing them as you look over their shoulder.
All season long, Sandy has crept around the galley, hemming and hawing and putting pressure on Kiko. She knows he can cook — she even called his food Michelin star-worthy at one point. But instead of letting him shine, she’s constantly second-guessed Kiko and needled every group of charter guests to find some sort of fault with his food. Sure, he doesn’t have a perfect track record (nachos are the albatross around every Below Deck chef’s neck), but what else does she expect when she’s constantly asking the guests, “What do you really think the food? It doesn’t look very good.” Of course guests will search to find fault when the captain repeatedly asks them for critical feedback. But even when they’ve been satisfied, Sandy has come to the kitchen to complain. Kiko was practically set up to fail from the beginning.
However, Vegas night must continue. So while poor Kiko (literally) cries himself to sleep, Alex Radcliffe and Pete Hunziker make a shirtless appearance as the Wellington Chippendales to host a casino night. Only on Below Deck Med would two crew members be forced to dress as strippers to appease the charter guests while openly sobs in his bunk all night. As sad as it was to watch Kiko fall to pieces, you have to admit the juxtaposition was kind of a masterclass in editing. Bravo, Bravo and 51 Minds.
Meanwhile, Hannah Ferrier is also starting to unravel. The chief stew feels partly responsible for Kiko‘s epic failure, especially considering she suggested the Vegas theme and guided him through planning the ill-advised menu. Plus, Kiko is her only real friend on board, making his firing personal. First she storms out of the galley to collect herself, declaring she “f**king hates this f**king job” to no one but the deep, dark sea (and Bravo’s cameras). Then, she wakes up in the middle of the night in the midst of a full-fledged panic attack. The commotion is so loud that it even wakes Malia White, who confusedly asks what she can do to help. Through shaking breaths, Hannah says she needs a Valium to help herself calm down, to which a groggy Malia asks, “Isn’t that a prescription?” Hmm…pay attention to that throwaway, it may turn out to be important…
The next morning, Kiko is feeling understandably defeated. In the famous words of another Bravo show, he’s ready to pack his knives and go. Rather than make a breakfast that will surely be torn apart by Sandy, Kiko opts to crawl back in his bunk, leaving Bugsy Drake and Jessica More floundering over what to do. Eventually, it takes some coaxing from Sandy to get the chef back in the galley, with some hollow talk about “cooking your food.”
Rather than make her pal suffer through lunch, Hannah organizes an excursion into Mallorca for the guests, led by Jess and Rob Westergaard. The day trip is the perfect excuse for the budding couple to take their boat-mance ashore. The charter guests even give them a couple nickname: JOB. (As the third stew points out via confessional, the nickname makes this the first “job” she’s ever really enjoyed. And do you blame her? Rob is dreamy.) Less dreamy and more cringe-y is Rob deciding to drop the “I love you” bomb on Jessica during the day date. Umm…what? Haven’t they known each other for like two weeks? Understandably, Jess is freaked out by the admission and doesn’t know how to respond. So instead, she does the totally rational thing and says…absolutely nothing.
Back on the boat, the guests have requested a ’90s-themed party for their final dinner. For some reason this involves Malia delivering her attempt at rapping about various crew duties and Sandy captaining the boat. In good news, though, Kiko knocks his final dinner out of the park. So much so, in fact, that the guests give him a cheering ovation over his food. Take that, Sandy. Seems like the fried Vegas debacle from the night before has officially been redeemed. Even if she did send Creepy Pete ashore for pizza to keep Kiko from making dinner for the crew.
The last morning of the four-day charter finally arrives, and the guests are devastated to leave. As the crew lines up to wave them off the boat, the co-primary literally almost cries. Via confessional, Hannah points out that the guests have no idea that one of the crew members they love so much got fired in the middle of service. With the charter over, Malia is thrilled that her boyfriend is finally coming to visit. And guess what? He’s a yacht chef. Captain Sandy‘s interest is obviously piqued when she learns this, and not-so-subtly asks the bosun to send her boyfriend’s C.V. over. Hmm…does this seem like suspiciously convenient timing to anyone else? What are the chances Malia’s boyfriend becomes the chef for the rest of the season?
Rather than stick around for the tip meeting, Kiko packs his bags and is beyond ready to get off this boat. And honestly, I can’t blame him. It’s worth noting that Kiko seems to say his goodbyes to everyone on board other than Sandy. He shares a sweet dockside chat with an emotional Hannah, who is inconsolable that her single ally in the crew is leaving. Hannah promises to keep Kiko’s share of the tip for him, and with that our ray of Brazilian sunshine waltzes down the dock, free of micromanaging and ready to shine for someone who will appreciate him.
