Real Housewives Of Potomac Tonight: Monique Samuels & Robyn Dixon Push The Cast To Take Sides

Most of us (myself included) slept on Real Housewives of Potomac for its first two seasons- for good reason- but they are not playing around when it comes to Season 3. There is just so much going on with every single cast member this time around.

They are all bringing it and it sounds like tonight’s episode will be another dramatic one.

Bravo released an episode description of tonight’s episode and there is an A plot, a B plot, a C plot, and D plot- which is more than Beverly Hills has going on for their whole last season.

The (seemingly) least interesting story line was listed first: “Candiace [Dillard] attempts to persuade her mother to give her control of the family business.” In other news, “Ashley [Darby] and Michael [Darby] revisit their prenup.” Why revisit a prenup when you are already married? What’s going on?

This seems like the big story of the episode: “Monique [Samuels] and Robyn [Dixon] host two different events on the same day, forcing the ladies to reveal their loyalty.”

In other news: “After celebrating her birthday without Sherman [Douglas], Gizelle [Bryant] begins to re-evaluate their relationship and receives advice from a very unlikely source.” Who could that be?

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Back Tonight; Join Us In The Comments For Live Viewing Party!

Ask, believe, receive! 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After is back tonight with another 2-hours of catastrophic love affairs gone wrong. Or in Nicole and Azan’s case, not going on at all. After last week’s show revealed that Azan was rejected for his K1 visa, Nicole was left wondering what her next step should be. One suggestion: WASH YOUR HAIR. (Just a thought…)

This week, we check back in with The Family Chantel to see if River and Pedro actually get to fistfight at a cabin in the woods, or if we’ll have to wait another week for the big moment. In the mean time, Mother and Father Chantel will begin building their case for the private investigator they plan to hire to dig into Pedro’s life.

Jorge and Anfisa try to “make things work” after deciding to try again at their pathetic excuse for a marriage. Annie questions David – and please, for the love of god and country – let her cease and desist with any more talk of David’s ass in the bedroom. I CANNOT. And I think I speak for all viewers when I say that we are barely getting over last week’s butt cheek-clapping “Boom! Boom!” horror.

But on a more serious note, we do see the tragic accident that David’s son, Jacob, experiences after a loaded gun left him with a serious facial wound. David’s daughter, Ashley, makes an appearance to argue that Jacob should no longer live with her father as a result.

In Colombia, Paola tries to keep a secret from her family while Russ continues being…Russ. It’s riveting stuff, people.

And, lastly, Luis gets a weekend to himself when Molly goes away. What will he do with this new freedom? A full 48-hour owl/Buddha cleanse? Strip club marathon with Uncle Jess? Troll international dating websites for his next victim? Insult children? The possibilities are endless!

Monique Samuels Thinks Ashley Darby Is A “Self Absorbed, Dysfunctional Child Still Dealing With Abandonment Issues”

During her first season of Real Housewives of Potomac, Monique Samuels hit it off with Ashley Darby. Oh, how far they’ve come.

Monique got into a car accident after she went to lunch with Ashley. Ashley told the whole cast that Monique had four martinis at lunch, she was drunk driving, and insinuated that she had a drinking problem on more than one occasion. Needless to say, the two of them are far from close these days.

Monique addressed the last RHOP episode in a Bravo blog post. Before getting to the Ashley drama, she discussed her relationship with Karen Huger. Monique revealed, “Karen and I have become very close. I appreciate her sincerity and I admire how strong she has been while dealing with the scrutiny she’s been receiving as a result of her husband’s business’ taxes.”

Monique didn’t pass up on the opportunity to throw shade at Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon, i.e. the “mean girls” according to Monique and Karen. She of all people can understand when the mean girls have nothing else better to do than to pick you a part. I really wanted her to know that I was sorry for blowing up at her event. That was not the time nor the place.”

And then she got to that sit down with Ashley. Monique admitted, “Now as I watch the early lunch sit down with Ashley, I realize that I let her off way too easy. However, at that point in my life, I no longer had the energy to fight. I just wanted to move forward, be happy and focus on what’s more important.”

Of course that’s not how she feels reliving the moment when she saw the episode. Monique said, “Watching her ‘apology’ now shows me just how fake she is. She didn’t mean a single word of it.”

Monique continued, “After seeing her interview bites, I would have rather Ashley say those exact words to me if she really meant it. She’s a self absorbed, dysfunctional child still dealing with abandonment issues. She’s so accustomed to dysfunction that she recreates it with her lies and almost pushes her friends further away from her, as if she’s already mentally prepared for their departure. She’s made plenty of mistakes and her biggest one is believing her own lies about herself and others.” Shots fired.

Karen Huger Says Gizelle Bryant & Robyn Dixon Are A “Bully Team”

At this point, it seems very clear that the Real Housewives of Potomac cast is divided into two sides: Karen Huger, Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard on one and Robyn Dixon, Gizelle Bryant, and Ashley Darby on the other. If the reunion seating did not reflect this obvious division in the cast, it would be shocking.

With that said, it is not surprising that Karen is taking Monique‘s side after that clash in the street with Robyn and Ashley.

Karen discussed the last RHOP episode in a Bravo blog post. Karen admitted, “I thought by wrapping up my event it would put an end to the clash but, no such luck. The ladies took it to the streets. It was shameful. After everyone finally left, I was grateful that no one was hurt. Moving forward, when planning my events, I will be more selective about who I invite among the ladies.” She may want to be “more selective,” but I’m sure she is contractually obligated to include the rest of the cast in most events.

Karen revealed, “I spoke to Monique briefly after the clash and encouraged her to never let the ladies push her buttons or take her to a negative place. Monique was very hurt and disappointed that some of the ladies who she had extended her friendship to, would turn around and attack her.”

She continued, “While it pains me to watch Monique so upset, it’s understandable that she would have a breaking point. The constant attacks and bickering has gone on far too long. Monique does not deserve this.”

Aside from being on Monique’s side, Karen didn’t miss out on the opportunity to go against Gizelle and Robyn. Karen wrote, “I have compassion for Monique in this situation. Unfortunately, I know firsthand how it feels to be attacked by the “bully team”. Everyone has witnessed Gizelle and Robyn’s attempted attacks on my family. While I’ve moved on and forgiven, I have not forgotten. One would think that they would have learned it’s not a good look and hang up their grown mean girl act for good.” But then what would happen to the story lines on this show? These girls know exactly what they’re doing: securing a Season 4.

It seemed like Ashley and Monique made up at their lunch, but it was just full of shady comments. Karen said, “Ashley is a seasoned expert in backhanded apologies. Robyn should have reached out and had a one on one moment with Monique.”
