Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

If you love Tony Vlachos like me, then tonight was about as good as it gets when it comes to Survivor. From the first moment until the last, this was a Tony-centric episode through and through, culminating in yet another absolutely epic blindside at Tribal Council. They even managed to fit in a Survivor fashion show.

There’s no question that tonight’s big move was epic, entertaining and masterfully executed, but was it the right move? Or, was it just the product of impatience? Let’s break it all down, shall we?

As I do at the beginning of every recap, please heed the following: Remember that this recap assumes that you have already seen this week’s episode of Survivor: Winners at War. If you have not and don’t want to be spoiled, please come back later! It’s important to add that while we WILL hit on all of the important developments of the episode, this is not a linear “blow-by-blow” recap. It is more of a discussion and reaction of what we just witnessed together.

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

What. An. Episode. “Winners At War,” for me, continues to fire on all cylinders, and who can ask for more than wall-to-wall Tony on our television screens? The episode started with Tony returning from an absolute bonkers Tribal Council that saw Tyson blindsided, two advantages and one Immunity Idol played. Tony was livid with Jeremy for bailing out from Tribal – or at least that was what Tony wanted everybody else to think. Because by the end of the episode, Tony would throw Jeremy a much-needed lifeline, and by gosh it worked. Perfectly. The move itself was executed to perfection, timed perfectly, and done with the precision of an all-time great. In a vacuum. But there can be only one winner on Survivor, even among a season full of winners. So was Tony’s take-down of Sophie the correct play?

I’m going to argue “yes.” I know, on the surface the move screams “impatience” from a player known for his frantic and chaotic game-play. Tony has had impeccable patience this game, knowing that “Spy Shack Tony” wouldn’t get him very far in a game played at this level this season. He came in, and did his best to blend in and not create waves. Internally, the hamsters were running as fast as ever. Tony never stops. But 28 days in the game and this close to the end, Tony finds himself in a position that probably surprises even himself: He finds himself still in the game. Even he probably thought his target was too big to get him this far. And to think that he remains in the game on the strength of back-to-back Immunity Challenge wins? Tony is simply crushing it.

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

But on the flip-side, Tony just executed a humongous move and took out a player that was low-down running the game, only to make the numbers 4-4, if allegiances were to hold solid. Yes, from a numbers-perspective only Tony may have been better off just “sticking to the plan” to get rid of Jeremy…he would find himself in an alliance with a 5-3 majority, and he still has a hidden Immunity Idol to play. So I get the argument that this move may have been a bit short-sighted. However, when you start to breakdown Tribal dynamics, I really feel like this may have been Tony’s best move forward, and you just have to know that Tony has worked out and gone over millions of possibilities to arrive at this move as being his best…he may play in chaotic style, but there is not one action that Tony makes in the game that isn’t calculated and precise, in his own mind at least.

We see that Tony‘s move has Sarah PISSED OFF next week, as she should be. She too, was just blindsided, a ruinous one that swept her closest ally in the game off the game board, taking an Idol with her that could have been used to benefit Sarah’s game down the line as well. Tony may overestimate his own social skills and relationship with Sarah, but he had to know she’d be furious with him. He’s banking on the fact that he can calm her down, because Sarah is also a very rational player. While she may be pissed, Tony has basically forced Sarah’s hand, and now Tony is her closest ally in the game, for good or for bad. The Sophie blindside also was a major gesture of allegiance to Jeremy, who in turn has Michele locked in. Factor in that Nick was on-board with the decision tonight, and Tony probably feels like he DOES still have a 5-3 majority alliance, if only he can convince Sarah to still play with him.

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

Kim is no fool, and is somehow still in the mix despite how dangerous she should have been perceived from the get-go. Kim looks to be targeting Tony next week, because she knows that Tony playing a successful “Tony-style” game and making the end is probably the one scenario that would make Kim a loser if she were to make it to Final Tribal herself. Her underdog story – and her reputation coming into the game – probably makes her believe she can win against anybody…anybody but Tony. So he’s got to go. But Kim is once again on the minority, and only theoretically has Denise as a close ally. If Sarah ends up seeing the logical argument Tony will pitch to her – and that’s a big “if” – the good ole “Cops-R-Us” alliance will be in great shape to make a run for the end.

Ironically, Tony‘s biggest flaw in making his big move tonight might be that Jeremy is perhaps the one best positioned to take him down. It is odd to see Jeremy so out-of-the-loop and without any control in the game, when we’re used to seeing him running things when he plays. He had no choice to leave the last Tribal Council even if the optics were bad, and he again had no choice but to believe Tony heading into Tribal this week. But wow, did Kim and Denise do a number on Jeremy…they had him hook, line and sinker. Knowing Jeremy’s style, he will not be very happy to have let himself get duped so severely, but the strategic-side of Jeremy’s brain must cue him in to the fact that the main roadblock in his way to the end isn’t Kim or Denise…it’s Tony.

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

The middle of the episode was filled with – guess who? – Tony, and the brilliance of the Fire Token twist was clear to see tonight. I was very skeptical of the concept of Fire Tokens leading into the season, but wow have they added a great element to the game…I’d go so far to say that I think I love their inclusion. Not only do they keep us engaged with those on The Edge of Extinction, but there are so many levels to how they can be used, and tonight’s “Extortion Advantage” was super-fun to watch play out. Natalie and Parvati definitely picked the right recipient of the advantage, and Tony did not disappoint. This was the first episode where, in-game, we witnessed players needing to pool their Fire Tokens together for a common cause. The six Fire Token price was a steep price to pay, but not doing so would have resulted in disastrous consequences for Tony’s game. Tony got Jeremy, Nick and also Ben to give him a Fire Token, which led to Tony being able to compete in the Immunity Challenge, which led Tony to win Immunity. What this means is that Ben has a bit of Sophie‘s blood on his hands as well, since he played a part in what went down leading up to her blindside.

We go forward now with a regular episode next Wednesday, April 29th, then a two-hour double-episode slated for May 6th. That leads us to the Survivor: Winners At War THREE-Hour Finale on May 12th…word is that there will still be some kind of a “virtual” live reunion show as part of this, with the votes still being read live, but my point in bringing this up is that we are a mere three weeks away from the end of this incredible season. I don’t want to think about the future of the show right now – production has been halted “indefinitely” on Seasons 41 and 42 due to the coronavirus – and there is no guarantee we are going to get any new Survivor for quite some time after May 12th. So live it up, my Survivor people! I hope you are enjoying this season as much as I am, and if you didn’t like tonight’s episode with Tony at the center of it all, I’m not quite sure what else you can ask for.

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

Legacy Watch: Since the game of Survivor will forever be changed as this season rolls along, I’ve added a new segment where we’ll take a look at whose game legacy’s have taken a hit, and whose have risen, based on the actions of this week’s episode. Sophie, Sophie, Sophie. Her parting message at the end of tonight’s episode summed it up perfectly: She had been seen as a lower-tiered winner, who pleasantly found out that she can play with the big dogs. That’s so true. Coming into Season 40, I had Sophie listed as the #29th overall winner (out of 38 total winners) and the fourth-lowest on this cast (with Michele, Amber and Ethan ranked below her). Leaving with an Idol in her pocket (or crotch, I guess) is never a good thing, but Sophie absolutely proved that she deserved to be out there in a season of “the best of the best.” In fact, not only was she out there, but she was simply running the game for the first 28 days until it all came crashing down for her. Her decision to split the vote and throw a few votes towards Michele may end up haunting her more than not playing an Idol. But the fact that Tony outplayed her here and that she never saw it coming also proves that while Sophie has definitely moved up in my mind, she still misses out on “top-tier” winner status. She may have been running with the big dogs, but she got bit hard tonight.

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

Episode Take-Away: It was Tony-time through and through, and I was thoroughly OK with that. We’re now down to eight and things are starting to come into focus as to who might be able to win this thing. There was a lot of talk about the proverbial “Survivor Resumé” tonight, and I think of the remaining eight players, Michele, Ben and Denise are going to have the toughest time based on their current resumés in the game. Michele, like Sophie (but not quite for the same reasons) has shown that she can play with the big dogs but not much more, mainly because she’s been in the minority alliance for much of the game. Ben is not playing a great social game and I find it hard to believe that this jury would award him as the representative of an all-winner season. And people love Denise, so by no means am I counting her out, but her only real splash in the game was in taking out Sandra…beyond that, Denise has just been getting by, which was her winning strategy before but I don’t think will be enough this time around.

Remove them from the running and you’re down to Tony, Jeremy, Sarah, Kim and Nick. And yes, I know that someone is going to re-enter the game from The Edge, but in my heart of hearts I just don’t see this group of winners giving the Sole Survivor title to someone that saw their torch snuffed this season. Could Jeremy be a long-shot at this point too, given that he was practically saved this week by Tony and that he lost some respect last week by bailing on his alliance?

Cops-R-Us needs to get this thing together…it’s their game to lose I think at this point…although just look at that “Extortion Advantage” as a sign of how quickly and severely The Edge of Extinction players can end up throwing a wrench in even the best laid plans.

One quick note: No new art from Erik Reichenbach this week, but be sure to check out his site, Dabudoodles.com, for his entire collection! He’ll be back with some new art following next week’s episode.

Survivor: Winners At War Episode 11 Recap: A Survivor MasterClass

Next Week’s Episode: We know that Tony is an exceptional strategic player, but how well will his social game hold up under the wrath of Sarah? She’s not happy, to say the least, and we see her yelling at him, “You sunk my game!” Jeremy tells us that this is “where the war gets ugly,” and we see Kim targeting Tony. What Kim doesn’t see though, is Tony’s new “Spy Nest,” up in a tree, listening in on her conversation. Thank you, Survivor Gods, for Tony Vlachos.

Quick Note! I appreciate that you are reading this recap! Erika Jayne Is On Watch What Happens Live Tonight

Erika Jayne

Erika Jayne

As we are all aware, we are living in some tough times these days. At least, we have some entertaining TV shows to watch while we are social distancing and staying safe in our homes.

As a result of the coronavirus outbreak, Watch What Happens Live has been filming new episodes via video chat. Andy Cohen hosts from the safety of his New York City apartment. And different guests video chat in from wherever they are. Although it’s great to see the stars glammed up with pounds of hair extensions and self-tanner, this filming from home thing definitely has some advantages. For instance, there are no travel schedules to consider. This means that it is possible to have premium guests every single night.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne and Bravo super fan Meghan McCain will be video chatting with Andy for tonight’s episode.

Considering that Meghan has beefed with Teddi Mellencamp (ironically about having famous fathers) and Teddi annoyed everyone in tonight’s episode, the accountability coach is probably gonna be hit with some shade.

Catch Watch What Happens Live tonight at 10 PM on Bravo. We don’t typically do comment threads for Watch What Happens Live episodes. However, a lot of you asked for this. So, of course, we are happy to come through for you. Hopefully, you enjoy the escapism of chatting with other members of the Reality Tea community.

Erika Jayne Wants Eileen Davidson Back On Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

Erika & Eileen

From the moment Erika Jayne has joined the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she has been a fan favorite. Whether it is her style, her entourage or just her ‘keeping it real’ personality – she has become a house hold name with the franchise.

The Pretty Mess author has made a name for herself since her arrival on the show. Whether it be releasing new music, a book or a shoe line – Jayne is busy even when she isn’t filming. With Season 10 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills just beginning, why not go down memory lane!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills  is now on it’s 10th season and has had 18 full-time housewives but there is only one alum cameo that the Broadway star enjoyed! Erika told Hollywood Life exclusively “It was wonderful for us to catch up with Eileen. I miss Eileen.” You would think since her introduction to the group was Yolanda Foster, that would be her top choice.

Erika gives insight on why Eileen was her pick, “Eileen was a real voice of clarity and strength, and she was honest and open,” Erika explained. “And I miss Eileen, I think that she, she’s great, you know, and she’s just cool lady, and she’s a great friend. And she’s a cool chick.” Eileen Davidson and Erika had a close relationship during their time on the show together. It seems the two are still in contact and have a friendship outside of the show.

The Young and the Restless icon was only on RHOBH for 3 season – for some fans Eileen was a bore but others truly miss the soap opera actress. Jayne seems to miss her as well, I mean let us not forget when Eileen surprised Erika with a guest appearance on Y&R. Who could forget that?

It doesn’t seem as if Real Housewives of Beverly Hills  is on Eileen’s radar. A source told Hollywood Life, “Eileen Davidson has no regrets walking away from RHOBH,” the source told us, who explained that Eileen’s “happy focusing more on directing and acting.” The source even added “She would not go back full-time if approached. There’s really nothing anyone could do or say to get her to come back.”

Kyle Richards Responds To Digs From Garcelle Beauvais; Wishes Garcelle Confronted Her Directly

Kyle Richards

Kyle Richards

In old Housewives tradition, new cast members typically spend their first season trying to win over their predecessors. But Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Garcelle Beauvais is certainly broke the mold when she took shots at RHOBH veteran Kyle Richards on Watch What Happens Live last week.

Speaking to Andy Cohen, our newfound shade queen Garcelle held nothing back when it came to her true feelings about Kyle’s ego and her nonexistent welcoming skills. But now Kyle has responded to these digs, and let’s just say they took her by surprise.

As Page Six reported, Kyle responded to Garcelle’s surprising comments during an interview with Maria Menounos. “Garcelle, who I had no issue with all season, she went on Watch What Happens Live and said not nice things about me. I’m always skeptical when someone is nice to you and then goes and says something else.”

Dare I say that this is typical Housewives behavior? Every season, the cast seems to end on decent terms. Then the reunion comes around, and Andy Cohen has to all but stop physical altercations from breaking out when the ladies reveal their true feelings about each other. Our beloved Housewives throw shade behind each other’s backs. It’s just what they do.

RELATED: Garcelle Beauvais Says Kyle Richards Was The Least Welcoming, Has The Biggest Ego, & Is The Last Person From Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills That She Would Want To Quarantine With

It seems to me like Garcelle is just getting the drama started earlier in the season than usual. And honestly, I’m here for it. We need someone to make up for Teddi Mellencamp’s boringness shortcomings.

“If I have an issue with someone, I would say it, because that’s what our job is on the show is to be honest. So whenever someone is one way to my face and another way in an interview, then I’m like, ‘OK, I know what I’m dealing with now,” Kyle continues.

RELATED: Garcelle Beauvais Reveals Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Star She Connected With The Least

I would have liked to see the sparks fly between these two during the show. But I think it’s safe to say Garcelle solidified her Housewives status when she said that she would least like to be quarantined with Kyle (ouch!). Even Andy gave her props for her expert shadiness. I know Kyle is trying to hold onto her “Queen of Beverly Hills” status for dear life. But I’m kind of enjoying Garcelle’s honesty. Any housewife that’s not afraid to speak her mind, I am a fan of.

While Kyle and Garcelle may have not hit it off, Kyle is still on good terms with her other co-stars, including the unofficial housewife of the season Sutton Stracke.

RELATED: Kyle Richards Explains Why Denise Richards Yelled “Bravo, Bravo, Bravo” In Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Preview

“I’ve gotten really close with Sutton,” Kyle continues. “She’s actually not holding a diamond, but to me she’s a Housewife because she’s in it a lot. When all that sort of happened with Denise [Richards], there was a big argument that happened, so we really haven’t been talking.”

It’s always interesting to see new relationships, whether good or bad, form on the show. While Kyle, is surprised by Garcelle’s comments, I find the brutal honesty to be a breath of fresh air!

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Alum Eden Sassoon Shades The Cast

Eden Sasson Says Lisa Vanderpump Has A Big Ego; Plus - Insinuates She's Not That Charitable!

Eden Sasson Says Lisa Vanderpump Has A Big Ego; Plus - Insinuates She's Not That Charitable!

Eden Sassoon may no longer be a part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but that didn’t stop her from throwing some serious shade during the recent Season 10 premiere.

During the episode, the former Friend of the Housewives live-tweeted her thoughts along with fans, cheekily going after each of her former co-stars and dishing on where she stands with several of the ladies these days.

Just hours before the season premiere began airing, Eden kicked off her tweetstorm with a dig at the franchise, tweeting, “#RHOBH season [premiere] …. Tonight!” alongside a photo of six unsmiling elderly women dressed in matching pastel, floral-print muumuus. While fan reaction was divided about whether the famously outspoken Eden By Eden Sassoon owner was being funny or rude, she continued her jabs at a steady pace throughout the evening.

For starters, Eden took direct aim at new Friend of the Housewives Sutton Stracke, taking a picture of the Southern belle’s confessional look and writing, “Who is this? Seriously?” while using the show’s hashtag. (She also retweeted fans calling the rookie “fucking annoying” and “a bitch,” with one going as far as to ask, “When will a house fall on her?”) Of course, the dig at Sutton seemed particularly ironic considering that the couture-wearing fashionista holds the same (tagline- and diamond-free) recurring spot in the cast that Eden herself once did just a few years ago.

RELATED: Camille Grammer Slams Lisa Rinna As Hypocrite For Trying To Expose Denise Richards After Protecting Dorit Kemsley; Says Denise Is Carrying This Season Of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

The former RHOBH star also had quite the strong reaction to Dorit Kemsley‘s (ahem, correctly) questioning Kyle Richards‘ involvement in the New York Fashion Week show for the line bearing the OG Housewife’s name. “Ohhhh Dorit #RHOBH shhhhhhh hahaha Kyle will kill uuuu,” Eden wrote upon seeing Dorit claim she had to “save Kyle’s fashion show…from Kyle.” Naturally, that didn’t stop her from cackling over Garcelle Beauvais calling Erika Jayne‘s gangster chic Kyle x Shahida look on the runway “frumpy.”

Replying to fans in that same tweet, Eden also revealed which ‘Wives she’s spoken to since leaving the show, first teasing that she’s only “seen 2” before revealing the pair to be none other than Kyle and Lisa Rinna. That news might come as a shock to fans of the show, considering that Eden spent the majority of Season 7 at odds with Kyle and watched her friendship with Rinna go up in flames — both over questioning Kim Richards‘ sobriety and inserting herself needlessly (thanks to in large part to Rinna) into the Richards sisters’ fraught relationship.

RELATED: Kyle Richards Explains Why Denise Richards Yelled “Bravo, Bravo, Bravo” In Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Preview

Later, Eden also retweeted a clip of Lisa trying on a Dolce and Gabbana crown during the episode as disgraced — and dethroned — OG Lisa Vanderpump‘s Season 7 tagline (“The crown is heavy darlings, so just leave it where it belongs…”) echoed into the ether. However, considering that she wrote, “She deserves it…” in reply to the clip, could Eden possibly be Team Rinna when it comes to which Lisa truly reigns on RHOBH? Such allegiance to her former frenemy would certainly be a drastic change from the last time we saw Eden at the Season 7 reunion…

Here’s hoping Eden keeps live-tweeting throughout the season because, whether you love her or love to hate her, there’s no denying the former Friend of the Housewives certainly adds entertainment value with her commentary.

Vanderpump Rules Recap: Witches Of NoWhere

Vanderpump Rules Stassi Schroeder

Vanderpump Rules Stassi Schroeder

“People are rotten everywhere you go. They’re no good. You want to see a very bad man? Make an ordinary man successful beyond his imagination. Let’s see how good he is when he can do whatever he wants.” ‘Pachinko’ by Min Jin Lee.

And that quote defines Vanderpump Rules. Here we have just some ordinary obnoxious people, but they are successful merely for being in the right time at the right place. First we suffered through Jax Taylor‘s delusional hubris consuming the first half of the season and now we are subjected to Stassi Schroeder‘s obnoxious arrogance for the remainder of it.

In the umpteenth week of quarantine I could give less fucks than Giggy; barely dragging myself across the marble floors in my scruffy slipper feet. Everyone but Giggy is trying harder than Charli Burnett‘s pants at the strip club. Actually I like Charli. Charli is surprisingly wry and snarky. I like Danica Dow too. Danica is psycho and it’s gonna keep creeping up again and again in interesting ways. I said it once, and I’ll say it again: Danica is the new Jax. Or maybe Season 1 & 2 Kristen Doute?

This brings me to the Witches of WeHo. Sadly disbanded, both in wine and in friendship. I’m still kinda confused. The gist being that Stassi and Katie Maloney grew tired of Kristen’s shenanigans of saying one thing but doing another, and her fake relationship (which can be said of Katie and Tom 2 too), so they just dropped her. Now they resent Kristen because they’re still contractually obligated to spend time with her. Both because they are co-owners of a wine no one has ever consumed, and because they are co-stars on Vanderpump Rules. It’s a delicate line to walk — especially when you’re chronically drunk.

While Kristen has been working her ass off to save this wine collection (as if saving the wine will equate to saving her friendships) Stassi and Katie have been ignoring her. She literally did everything to prepare for the party unveiling their new rose, while Stassi compared herself to Beyonce leaving Destiny’s Child. So what does that make Katie exactly?

Stassi claims she doesn’t like working with her friends except she built an entire podcast around talking with her friends. So… Also Stassi and Katie don’t have to like Kristen, but they could still be professional. Oh, who am I kidding – no they can’t. They are poisoning Potion No 2 on purpose so their distributors pull out and they can fully ditch Kristen.

The other thing complicating this issue is Beau Clark. Kristen  introduced Beau and Stassi, but seems to believe she deserves eternal grace. Poor whittle Beau. He oughtta be cursing Kristen for hooking him up with Stassi, a woman so pathologically insecure and neurotic that she wants to breathe for him. Their entire relationship is Beau staring at Stassi like a deer caught in headlights, nodding constantly like a Tourettes tic. The same things that made Stassi charmingly satanic when she was dating Jax are the things that make her truly deranged with regards to Beau. Beau is just so hapless. He just doesn’t deserve Stassi’s rages, yet here he is and planning an elaborate proposal.

Katie and Tom 2 visit Stassi’s and she shares about going to the gyno to ensure her baby cavity is operable. Since Stassi and Beau aren’t not trying for a baby and all! This appears to be surprising news to Beau. Stassi is planning a forever life with Beau whether he wants to or not… Which means what? Syphoning off his sperm into a wine bottle and using a perfume atomizer to insert it up her manicured cootch? Does Beau get any say in what happens to him anymore? Rhetorical question. Beau’s balls are permanently locked in Stassi’s hope chest, which is also where she stores her hand guns and her spell book. When she’s really feeling winsome, she pops them into her Birkin, locks it up tight, and takes them for a walk. They may even have their own little leash. Pale blue, and studded with rhinestones of course!

Upon seeing Tom 2‘s ‘awwww shucks – wedding license was lost again, but danggit the preacher still sent away the forms so I guess it’s legal!’ response to flopping a second wedding, Beau should be very aware of how his life is gonna play out. Not well, bitch.

Vanderpump Rules Beau Clark

The day of the wine launch Beau pays a visit to Lisa Vanderpump‘s to discuss the engagement party she’s throwing for them. Lisa suggests that, despite the animosity, Kristen still be invited. Someday she may make amends with Stassi and they would all regret that she wasn’t there. Beau promises he’ll feel out the situation at the Witches of WeHo party. Thus begins a horrible chain of events.  Oh, Beau – silly thing. Pretending he has decision-making powers!

Then there is Scheana Marie. Someone help this woman! Iyanla?! Oprah?! Maury Povitch?! Anyone!

Vanderpump Rules Lisa Vanderpump

Lisa is enjoying ONE fried goat cheeseball when Scheana plops down to complain that neither Brett Caprioni nor Max Boyens called her to ask about her eggs. Lisa is completely surprised that Scheana is still so clueless about how men work, and also about how desperate she comes across. Still – Scheana loves being single you guys! She’s paving the way for middle-aged fuck girls everywhere to not cower in shame. She is the new Samantha from Sex and The City. Her life is Solid Gold, not tarnished brass! Scheana needs a self-help book, but instead she hires a psychic.

I feel like I missed some things somewhere, but all of the sudden Scheana is at Dayna Kathan‘s with a surprise birthday present: a psychic so Dayna can commune with her dead mom! Dayna is surprised, but not in the good way. Surprised like when you’re Scheana and you learn your ‘best friend’ was actually just using you for sex and a new iPhone, but you thought he was agreeing to donate his sperm and share a Verizon plan.

Vanderpump Rules Dayna Kathan

Scheana is actually so excited to give Dayna the gift of the dead that she bursts into tears at her own amazing generosity. Scheana gives gifts because she wants the praise and adulation that comes with people thinking she is generous and thoughtful. Dayna is actually appalled and grows even more confused when it sounds like Scheana has the psychic waiting downstairs, ready to burst in chanting and swinging incense. Did Scheana get Dayna confused with Stassi? Who actually could use a psychic right now to calm her nerves about when Beau is gonna propose.

Vanderpump Rules Scheana Marie Psychic

Of course Scheana being Scheana she pretends like the psychic was just something she planned for Dayan to have someday, but here’s where it gets REALLY psycho. After Scheana leaves Dayna overhears her talking to someone. She looks out the window to see Scheana explaining to the psychic that Dayna is an ungrateful bitch who doesn’t appreciate her – just like all the men in her life! Yet Scheana still denies that she planned to ambush Dayna with the psychic. WHAT IS GOING ON?! This is so weird I actually believe it’s real.

Dayna catches Scheana in lies so easily she’s the equivalent of Scheana fly paper. Also Scheana got hit by a scooter and now has a huge bandage on her knee and a ripped up hand so she won’t be joining them at the strip club later that evening. Where they’re celebrating … Dayna’s birthday… Again? My brain hurts.

Vanderpump Rules Brett Caprioni

James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss are there, Dayna, Danica, Charli, and Brett. Dayna slobbers all over Brett, calling him the the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen. Whereas Charli is disgusted because he seems like the type of dude who cries after sex. I’m with Charli! There’s some pointless conversation where Brett tries to confront Danica for saying he wasn’t right for Dayna, but Danica’s point is that Dayna ounce fucked Max – Brett’s bestie – so it’s just weird. Except Brett is from New Jersey where apparently that’s normal. Then Dayna interrupts so they just start talking about how fucked up Scheana is. Danica says Scheana wants everyone to think she’s perfect so she lies, but she’s really imperfect at lying.

There’s one final bizarre moment in the back alley of SUR, near the dumpster of dead dreams, where Scheana unloads on Brett for not calling her after eggs, then accident. Scheana is tired of being taken for granted! Then Dayna intervenes. Is this girl like Inspector Gadget? She talks like a robot, spouting Instagram memes about truth and wellness, and she’s always barging in in the middle of drama to make things more convoluted.

I can’t connect with Dayna because she seems so… hollow. Like if I knocked on her head I’d actually hear an echo. In comparison to Scheana, who is probably made of cotton candy. If I knocked on her head my hand would just sink into a gooey, sticky, fluffy abyss and then my hand would smell saccharine all day and feel gummy.

Dayna is still weirded out by the secret psychic surprise. Scheana shrugs that she was just trying to do a nice thing. Probably she’s mad about Max and Brett and hoped the psychic would reveal some embarrassing information about Dayna which Scheana could immediately text to Max.

That’s the thing about Scheana – her need and drive for attention outweighs everything else. She’s hard to like because she tries so hard to be liked that it’s almost painful. Scheana even admits that although she plays off all these bogus relationships as stepping stones to her future perfect love at some point all the disappointments, dashed hopes, and crossed out hearts with initials in them have actually hurt her self-esteem. Now she’s 34 and chasing boy toys with the aim of pretending the last 8 years never happened.

That’s probably what Kristen thinks too. That if she just acts perfect enough and professional enough, just for this one time on this one day, Stassi and Katie will pretend the last 8 months or 8 years or 88 minutes – or whatever that moment was that made them realize she wasn’t their friend – never happened. Instead it is James who gets time turned back.

Vanderpump Rules James Kennedy

He meets Lala Kent at the studio for some recording and afterwards they talk sobriety. Lala is all ready to welcome sober James with open arms as they bond about what it’s like to truly embrace a life without booze. Lala is so happy for James, and I’m glad he’s accepting of her support, but I wanted James to ask her why 2 weeks ago she was coming for him over Logan and calling Raquel a nothing? Where is Lala’s accountability?!

Vanderpump Rules Beau Clark Kristen Doute

Then it is time for the Witches of WeHo party. The entire thing devolves into a mess of Stassi screaming at Beau, Kristen screaming at Beau, and Beau holding his head in his hands and moaning. Beau is a man possessed. Two witches are warring for him which means he will come to a bad end. Stassi is horrified that Beau refuses to cut Kristen out of his life the like the pox she is on Stassi’s soul. Kristen demands to know why Beau can’t still be her friend, then accuses him of being afraid of Stassi. Which is exactly what’s going on! Beau is so afraid of Stassi he can barely speak in complete sentences around her and that’s why she loves him so much.

Stassi barges over, fully converted to Dark Passenger, while Kristen is shaking Beau down and calls her a weirdo for believing she has any relevance in Beau’s life. Instead of Beau telling Stassi that Lisa hopes they can patch things up, he feebly tries to argue that he can decide who is friends are. Stassi freaks out. She literally demands Beau pledge his loyalty to her and only her from hence forward. “Aren’t I your person?” she shrieks, before storming out in tears. I’m pretty sure Stassi believed this was their wedding ceremony.

Vanderpump Rules Stassi Schroeder

All this time Beau has, in the back of his mind, that the very next day he’s proposing. Dude — this was your sign to run. RUN. Stassi is holding a bouquet of red flags, and all of them are attached to an arrow with a poisoned tip. Stassi claims she’s having flashbacks to Kristen cheating with Jax, then lying about it – but she can’t possibly believe she’s ready to marry Beau while simultaneously believing he’s so untrustworthy? Stassi needs therapy, not a ring. Especially because Beau was explaining to Kristen that while she’s his friend, Stassi’s his priority.

Also if Stassi is so mad at Kristen for being immature in relationships, what exactly was this meltdown tantrum she threw? At a business launch no less! But Kristen is SOOO eternally exhausting. This thing with Beau — it’s not her battle. She just needs to stop.

Vanderpump Rules Scheana Marie

Also here’s Scheana – so relived that someone else is making a huge ass of themselves!
