The Real Housewives Of New York star has been plagued by financial issues and accused of living in the past, but Sonja is adamant about hanging on to her last remaining remnant of the Mrs. Morgan socialite lifestyle.

Sonja claims she has financial reasons for staying put this time – and it’s not just her opinion. “I’m not [selling]. I’ve been advised to keep it, because it’s an investment.” Maybe Bethenny Frankel is advising Sonja – since Bethenny is a real estate expert and all. Although, the last time Bethenny tried to give Sonja business advice it didn’t go so well, so probably not.

The townhouse is Sonja’s “biggest investment right now” after selling properties in France and Colorado. She explained, “Coming out of my Chapter 11, I need to hold on for a while.” Last year, Sonja settled a $7m bankruptcy judgement against her, and also a lengthy court battle against her ex-husband.

Sonja previously tried to sell the four-story Upper East Side home for $12 million, then $10 million, and finally $7 million mid-bankruptcy. Earlier this year, she listed it again at $10M, but now she tells ET News that ultimately she’s not ready to move because downsizing is so icky. “You sell when you can buy something more expensive. When you can keep your houses and afford them, it’s the thing to do…we’re in New York. We’re in 10065. It’s the best zip code in the world.”

Yes, “when you can afford them” is the operative phrase. But of course how else would Sonja house her boarding school for wayward former trophy wives?

Kenya believes she and Phaedra had a “genuine relationship from the beginning” until Phaedra “threw that first punch” over their failed DVD venture. “She didn’t want to pay me! Remember that!? I don’t deserve anything… So I said ‘OK, I’ll just do my own thing.’ And after that our relationship was never the same.”

“And of course I did things, to you know, egg it on a little bit probably,” admits Kenya. “But the moral of the story is that we both did things that were wrong and we both apologized for it and we both moved on. For her to come back two years later and bring up something that’s so obsolete at that point – of course she’s not a genuine person, because she never would’ve thought that let alone say it.”

Kenya did plenty of egging, and egging, and egging, and likewise Phaedra did plenty of hard boiling, and soft boiling, and scrambling.

Kenya fraudulently believed she and Phaedra were in an okay place this season until that Maui divorce party disaster. Kenya feels Phaedra’s over-reaction was intended to humiliate by reminding everyone of Kenya and Apollo Nida’s salacious-ish past.

“She could’ve just said ‘Hey I’m not real comfortable with you throwing the party. No slight to you, I know your heart’s in a good place, but it’s just not the right thing for me.’ What would have been the harm with that? I would not have felt offended. I would not have been embarrassed. But that was her intention, and that is the beauty of Phaedra.” They don’t call her the queen of undercover air mattress shade for nothin!

Kenya promises that, as already hinted, the RHOA reunion will show the “real villains of the show.”

“What I’ve been sayin’ for years!” Kenya crows to Hip Hop Hollywood. “But y’all know how you gotta catch up to me! The truth always comes to light and you do not have to do anything but sit back and wait.”

Kenya also cackles that Apollo’s finance Sherien Almulfi is “a little bit of an upgrade” to Phaedra. She is evasive about whether or not she’ll be attending Apollo’s wedding… in about 5 years time when Apollo is released from the pen. I wonder if Sherien will be saying ‘I do’ in a toilet paper wedding gown to match her paper towel ring?!

Only Real Housewives of Atlanta can have layers of drama that go this deep. Maybe with the new producers in place next season we’ll see the show return to its former splendor?! [crossing fingers]

Least surprising news like ever, but Eden Sassoon, who spent the her time as an almost-Housewife interrogating everyone’s sobriety, won’t return for another season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

The ‘friend of’ no-one confirmed that she would be hanging up her negative energy crystals to pursue more positive, zen famewhoring pursuits. “I want to BE the one to share with everyone this news. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO #RHOBH NEXT SEASON,” Eden shared.

Little Women: LA Star Terra Jole “Crushed” By Elena Gant Rejecting Her As Godmother To Her Kids

This week’s Little Women: LA cemented a new alliance between Elena Gant and Jasmine Sorge, who started out as bitter enemies on the franchise, yet ultimately forged a bond as new mommies to their boys. When Elena chose Jasmine and her husband, Chris, as godparents, though, Terra Jole admits she was deeply hurt. After all, Elena had initially asked Terra and Joe Gnoffo to fill the role.

Terra confesses, “I’m truly crushed that my relationship with Elena has faded. In the episode, Elena mentions that after Dancing with the Stars, we never talked like we used to, but the phone lines work both ways. We are both to blame for our lack of communication, but conveniently Elena is upset that I’m not calling as much. This makes it easy for her to appoint someone else as a godparent.”

Terra adds, “I’m truly happy for Jasmine and know that she and Chris will make great godparents.”

But there’s little time to cry over the loss of friendship, apparently, because Terra is on to her next project: writing a book. She comments, “My BOOK! I’m both scared and excited to write this book. Many things that are intimate and hit home are disclosed, plus behind the scenes details on the Little Women. Question is: will everyone sign off? Stay tuned to find out.”

Terra also slams Briana Renee’s plans of writing a book too, which Terra thinks is highly unlikely. She snarks, “Briana will come out with her book when Matt [Ericson] and I hook up … a.k.a NEVER. Her two-year plan should be called the ‘never gonna happen plan.’ Please hold the hate mail.”

But Terra did find it within herself to comfort Briana during an emotional time – specifically, a time in which Briana worried about the health of her baby son.

Terra explains the situation in her People blog: “Let the record state: Briana and I did not magically become friends again. When you have nobody in your life and your child is going through these probing visits with doctors, it’s nice to have someone to talk to. Someone to answer the unknown questions that doctors with no previous little person experience are clueless with. I wish Briana well with Maverick and hopefully I helped guide her in the right direction.”

As for her thoughts on Tonya Banks’ relationship with ex-husband-turned-current-love-interest, Kerwin? Well, Terra doesn’t hold out much hope for them. She closes with her final thoughts on the doomed couple: “Kerwin and Tonya already talk to each other like they’ve been married 20-plus years. Unfortunately, in their case, that’s not a compliment. I think they both lack positive compliments and affirmations about what’s good in their relationship, which leads them to instead complain bitterly, regularly and take one another for granted.”

Cynthia Bailey is like an old-fashioned Housewife from back in the day when Housewives was about the interpersonal family dramas, not feuding with cast members over strange social protocol or complete lies. Still Cynthia is sharing a show with these ladies and their “disgusting and disappointing” behavior.

Part 3 of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta reunion (aka when the reunion got REALLY shocking!) began with Cynthia and Peter Thomas discussing their failed marriage. “I think he will always feel like I gave up on our marriage, and I will always feel like I gave the marriage all I could give. Regardless, I am very grateful that through it all, we still love and respect each other. That means a lot to me. ”

Well, Cynthia was the only person experiencing love that night. Peter stormed off set demanding a drink. Because, apparently he of the many lawsuits and foreclosures is tired of dishonesty and lies.

“I initially assumed he was uncomfortable discussing our marriage, or was upset about something I said,” reveals Cynthia. “In the end, he made it clear that he was just sick of all the lies and B.S. that has been going on in the circle, and did not want to sit through it. So he left.”

About that B.S…. it was something, wasn’t it? “I was shocked that Phaedra [Parks] was the one that told Porsha [Williams] the rumors,” blogs Cynthia. “After the shock wore off, I was just disappointed and disgusted with the realization of how far some of the women in this circle are willing to go to try to humiliate and hurt each other.”

“I will never allow myself to stoop to this level,” Cynthia continues. “I would also never allow anyone to convince me to spread such serious allegations about someone for months without at least trying to find out if there was any real truth to it. It was was an all time low for everyone that took part in it. An embarrassment to women and young girls. Phaedra gave Porsha the gun, but it was Porsha’s choice to shoot the bullets. Pathetic and sad situation.”

Cynthia maintains a friendship with Kenya, who although she hasn’t accused anyone of drugging and raping has been behind some plenty spurious allegations and behaviors. Furthermore, wasn’t Cynthia part of accusations that Phaedra was cheating on Apollo with Mr. Chocolate? Did Cynthia do her due diligence then?

Phaedra and Porsha are beyond wrong and inexcusable, but ALL the women have stooped to super low levels before, although Cynthia is correct: it’s disgusting and disappointing. Hopefully this will be reality check to both Bravo and the cast!

Alex McCord Returns To America With A Watch What Happens Live Appearance

Alex McCord is a name I haven’t heard in forever, but she made a random return to Watch What Happens Live and America. Not only that, but Ramona Singer was in the club house as well. It was a combination I never expected to see, but I was here for it.

I’m not really sure why Alex did this appearance since it’s clear that she wants nothing to do with the reality TV life, but the dynamic between her and Ramona was pretty interesting to watch.

Andy Cohen asked Alex, “Do you watch Real Housewives of any city?” And she replied, “Not at all,” which I actually believe. It didn’t seem like she was fronting at all. The one thing that did surprise me was that she said Jill Zarin is the former cast mate that she keeps in touch with most. Alex even said, “She’s such a great pen pal.”

Alex revealed her biggest regret about doing the show was “the loss of privacy – everyone up in your grill all the time,” which explains why the left the country to live in Australia.

Ramona was asked to explain why her face looks so different and she summed it up by declaring, “I gained ten pounds.” Maybe, but I don’t know if that really explains the situation. Then again, that’s none of my business.

Alex was asked which Housewife surprised her the most with what’s happened in her life and she answered, “I hate to see relationships and marriages break up. That always makes me sad and I missed three seasons. I kind of checked out.” So she didn’t really answer the question.

Andy pushed for a specific answer and wanted to know Alex’s take on Bethenny Frankel‘s divorce. Alex admitted, “Actually no I wasn’t surprised, but I was sad about it. I didn’t think that was going to work,” and Ramona could not hold in her laughter as Alex answered.

For some reason Bethenny was a hot topic of conversation and both Ramona and Alex were asked about how she’s changed since they first met her. Alex said, “She hasn’t changed a bit.” Ramona laughed at her answer again, before she said, “I plead the fifth.” Yikes. Ramona added, “I realized with Bethenny you can only talk about what she wants to talk about.” Well, yeah. It’s Bethenny’s world and we are all just living in it-or at least that’s how it comes off most of the time.

Survivor: Game Changers Recap: Playing With Power

It’s getting tough out there on Survivor. With the Finale fast approaching (May 24…mark your calendars!), we find ourselves down to just 10 players left in the game heading into last night’s episode. It has been a season full of big moves, aggressive strategies, and the occasional blunder. “Game Changers,” Hali stated from the jury seats after tonight’s Tribal Council. “Idiots,” Deb countered. They may both be right.

But before we try to think of an 11-letter word to describe last night’s new episode, let me first warn you that there are spoilers to follow, as we will be discussing in detail the event’s that took place during last night’s episode of Survivor: Game Changers. And while we WILL hit on all of the important developments, remember that this is more of a discussion and analysis and not a blow-by-blow account of how the episode played out.

So just three weeks after being outed by Jeff Varner as being transgender, Zeke Smith was blindsided and sent to the jury at the conclusion of last night’s episode. Zeke’s back-to-back run on Survivor is now over (he first appeared in the Fall on the last season of Survivor, “Millennials vs. Gen-X”).

Just like whether or not you agree with Hali (“Game Changers!”) or Deb (“Idiots!”), getting rid of Zeke was either a good move or a bad one, depending on your perspective and who you’re currently rooting for. On one hand, this is a total win for Cirie and Andrea, who already had Zeke trying to undercut their alliance and who knew that he was one of the biggest threats to their games that was remaining. If you’re Sarah or Michaela, however, this move seems to be counter-productive and questionable at best, since Zeke was the one player in the game who fully trusted Sarah and who had verbalized how he wanted Michaela with him at Final Five. While Andrea and Cirie were steering the ship, it was still Sarah who held the power and who could have swayed the game in any direction she chose…so it’s troubling that she ultimately buckled to Andrea and Cirie.

Sarah began the episode by coming clean to her former alliance that she was the one who had flipped to get rid of Deb (Zeke describing Deb as the one that they perceived was in charge, whether this was true or not). I like that Sarah is owning her game, and she’s clearly playing hard and has put herself in a good position. She even stated that she is betting on the hope that the jury will ultimately reward her cunning game-play, and will over-look some of her moves that may be considered “stabs in the back” (Deb flicked her off at Tribal Council, so that might be a sign that Sarah doesn’t quite have her finger on the pulse of the jury).

At one point, Sarah did try to defend her relationship with Zeke, and in an effort to gain favor with Cirie, she told her about the Secret Advantage she found…where Sarah gets to “steal” another person’s vote at Tribal and then vote twice. She tried convincing Cirie that it was in their best interest to get Sierra out now, and that they could worry about Zeke later, with the added comfort of Sarah’s extra vote. In reality, Sarah not only lost her closest ally in Zeke, but she gave Cirie even more power in the game, now that she knows the cards that Sarah is holding.

Oh, did I mention yet that CIRIE IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PLAYER IN THIS GAME! Sadly, Zeke was the only person so far this entire season that I think has even mentioned that Cirie was a target and with him gone – and with the way the game is taking shape – it is looking more and more unlikely that anybody is going to stop Cirie. The only caveat to this is Andrea, who is smart and ruthless enough herself, to where I can’t imagine a world where Andrea would want to sit next to Cirie at the end. The irony here is that Cirie may be thinking the same thing, and if history has taught us anything, Cirie usually manages to come out on top.

Last night’s challenge had a theme of “Reinventing how this game is played,” but I wouldn’t go that far. This has been a good season in my opinion, but I’m not sure I’ve seen enough yet to call it ground-breaking or earth-shattering when it comes to game-play. There have been remnants of the “voting bloc” – the newest voting strategy that first showed up during “Second Chances” – that have appeared more and more as this season has gone on, but for the most part I think that returning players help make the game more cutthroat…people definitely are less and less scared to make a big move, although Sarah had a real opportunity to shake the game up had she valued her alliance with Zeke over that of Cirie/Andrea.

Michaela, too, was shown as in Sarah‘s corner and was not at all enthusiastic about voting out Zeke. She actually got quite emotional and broke down in tears watching Zeke leave the game, and that’s definitely not a side of Michaela we’ve seen all that much of.

At this point in the game, it’s clear that Michaela is not going to win the game…not enough players seem to like her or have formed strong enough bonds with her. She is a good “goat” candidate for some of the other players to get to the end. But had Sarah utilized Michaela, together with Zeke and the minority alliance of Brad, Tai, and Troyzan, Sarah could have had numbers to do whatever she wanted, even if Sierra pledged her vote completely to Cirie and Andrea. By allowing Zeke to get voted out, Sarah is putting a good deal of stock in her relationship with Cirie and Andrea, hoping that she can still fall back on her old alliance with Brad and company if things go sour. But what she’s really doing is sabotaging her game to the point that when and if she does make it to Final Five or Six, she will be relying on having to win challenges in order to survive, because she will most likely be a main target of every other player, in any combination, and she’ll probably be the only one without a really close ally left in the game at that time. I’m not counting her out, but her decisions these past two weeks have – in my opinion – lowered her power status in the game while increasing that of Cirie and Andrea’s…two players that would cut Sarah out in an instant should they want to.

We’ll have to see the thought-pattern behind the votes, but I thought it was interesting that Brad, Troyzan, and Sierra all cast votes for Tai, who is in their alliance…this may not sit well with sensitive Tai. Remember – he still has two Idols, and they’re becoming more and more valuable the deeper he gets into the game. Troyzan has an Idol as well, let’s not forget.

Episode Take-Away: Chatting with my wife after the episode, we were trying to discuss who we thought would actually win this season, and if we would be satisfied with the prospective winner. We both concluded that there are really only four of the remaining nine contestants that have a real shot of winning the game. Who are the other five that have no shot? Michaela. Troyzan. Aubry (whom we both love, but whom we are both disappointed in as far as game-play goes this season). I think Tai has a compelling path to victory but my wife disagreed that anybody would vote for him to win a season called “Game Changers.” I on the other hand don’t think Sierra has done enough to win, but my wife thinks that depending on how the rest of her game goes, that she may have a shot. That leaves only Cirie (who’ve I’ve talked about ad nauseam), Andrea, Brad, or Sarah. And quite honestly, we both whole-heartedly agreed that we’d be happy with any of these four winning the game. Personally, I feel like I’m rooting for Sarah since she has had the most tumultuous game, and even though I have always loved Cirie and she’ll always be one of my favorites, I find myself rooting against her since she seems to have had such an easy path thus far.

Zeke is now gone and it’s starting to be Cirie and Andrea‘s game to lose. Don’t look now but Andrea has also now won two individual Immunity Challenges. We have just two episodes left leading up to the two-hour Finale on May 24, and if this season’s past is any indication, there is still a lot of game left to be changed.

Strategic Move of the Week: Andrea really drove things towards voting out Zeke, and from her perspective, it was a great, huge move. And it worked.

Next Week’s Episode: Was that Sierra and Sarah bonding on the beach? Was that Michaela smiling and feeling good about her place in the game? Are some new alliances forming? VERY Important Note! I regret to inform you that there will be no usual Exit Interview this week with Zeke Smith…but there WILL still be a new episode of the Podcast. As I was writing this article, I was informed by CBS that, per Zeke’s request, they are limiting his exit press this week. I don’t have word on why exactly, but I can assume that it is due to all of the questions I’m sure he’s going to have to face dealing with the whole Jeff Varner situation and him being outed as transgender. CBS did allow me to email him one question, and I will reveal it and read his answer on the Podcast Thursday (if I don’t have it in time, I will include it in my coverage next week). But sadly I will not have the opportunity to chat with Zeke this week.
