Cheerio, y’all! Without a doubt, the most amazing part of this job is getting to interview the fancy folks I get to watch each week on television. Every time, I’m happily surprised by how down to earth these people are–but this time, I wasn’t shocked at all. I knew the British gentlemen from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles would exude nothing but grace and class–what a privilege to get to chat with James Harris and David Parnes!
With the premiere of MDLLA looming this evening at 9 PM/ET on Bravo, it was a huge treat to get to speak to two of the most gracious reality stars on the planet. In an effort to give you dear readers twice the accent and double the gentility, I’ve split their separate interviews into two posts. Tonight, please enjoy a peek into the charismatic personality that is James Harris. He’s absolutely every bit as precious as he appears on the show…maybe more so!

After I got over the lilting accent and his concern over the path of Hurricane Matthew after hearing I’d evacuated Charleston (stay safe friends on the coast!), James opened up about filming the latest season. He jokes, “I feel like we’ve been filming twelve and a half years. No, we’ve been filming for the past eleven or twelve months, and we’ve got an amazing season ahead. It’s action packed. The story lines are incredible. The properties are off the hook. Dave and I have a really amazing property coming up [on the premiere] worth $45 million. We’ve got some incredibly lavish open houses and parties that help us sell properties throughout the season. I just think it’s been great because we’ve been able to be creative to find our buyers and it’s been a lot of fun to shoot this season.”
When questioned about the return of Madison Hildebrand, James is as affable as ever, remarking, “Madison’s a cool guy. We’ve always had a great relationship with Madison and then we co-listed a property with Madison. The tables turned, but we still think he’s a great guy. In this business we all have to work together, and we all have to be amicable with one another. You know, we took a listing out in Malibu that we had to co-list with him, and it was an interesting experience. I’ll leave it at that. Fun interesting and crazy. I believe [our co-listing with Madison] will definitely come up later in the season. It feels like I spent three quarters of my life in Malibu. No, it’s been good and fun, and it was quite a nice experience to get to go to Malibu and show properties overlooking the ocean. When you’re from London, you definitely don’t say no to that!”
Obviously, I wanted to get James’ take on the Joshes, and he remained extremely diplomatic, especially where Altman is concerned. He shares, “It’s funny. I think Josh Altman had so much going on with the wedding and other things going on in his life, I really haven’t had that much interaction with Altman. [Josh] Flagg is, I can say, one of my dearest friends. He’s a complete nutcase and I love him dearly. We definitely interact a lot, but we haven’t done a deal this season, but we’re definitely there for each other. He’s been a great friend to me. There’s a lot going on in his life, and I think that’s going to be an interesting story line. So, no, not much interaction with the Joshes.”
It’s no surprise that the Bond Street Partners manage to stay above the fray of show induced drama. James attributes it to a very strong work ethic. He explains, “I think, for us, there is always that saying, ‘Keep your side of the street clean and everything will be okay.’ You know, we try to keep our heads down, be creative, work hard, and stay true to ourselves while having fun at the same time. There is drama, it does happen. Unfortunately it can’t be avoided. I’m a dad of two so I like to try to keep my cool, and keep my calm. But hey, we sometimes lose our tempers. The stakes are high, commissions are high, so with that comes drama, and losing it from time to time. I hate it, but it happens.”
You can’t mention James without asking about his beautiful family. When I inquired as to whether we’d be seeing more of his home life, James replies, “Definitely, yes! My two crazy angels will be shown this season, my wife. We’re now a family of four, and my wife’s brother is moving in with us. We’ll be moving into a new house. There’s a lot of really cool stories with it. My two kids are definitely in it, and they are definitely the best things that have ever happened to me, that’s for sure.”
And what of their Manhattan counterparts? James reveals, “Ryan [Serhant] has been in LA a lot lately, and he’s a really good guy. We’ve not done any business with Ryan, but between Fredrik Eklund, myself, and David, we do share a mutual client. Fredrick very much handles most of his business on the East Coast, and we handle all of his business on the West Coast. We’ve met with Fredrik on multiple occasions. I think he’s absolutely incredible, a fun guy. He’s entertaining and he’s a good laugh to be around, but we haven’t done any business with him yet. Hopefully that will come very soon in the near future.”
Expounding on the highlights of his career, James recalls, “We got to sell the iconic Hustler building on Sunset Boulevard. I think that was definitely a crazy one where we sold it for $18.5 million and we got to deal with Larry Flynt and his intricacies, should we say. We did just recently sell an unbelievable house in Holmby Hills for $30 million. It was actually featured on our very first season for $48 million and we ended up selling it to a very good client of ours. That was a 16,000 square foot, mad, modern contemporary house with a wine cellar, ten bedrooms and fifteen bathrooms. One of the craziest deals we did has to be on Melrose Place which is quite an iconic street. We ended up selling three buildings on that street for $30 million as well and ended up repping both the buyer and the seller. Because of that we got to work with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and Oscar de la Renta and Chloe. It was kind of out of our realm, but those are probably the craziest deals in terms of prices.”
As expected, James has a sincere soft spot for his fans. He tells me, “I always want the fans to know the truth. I try to stay true to myself while on camera which is obviously the best way to do it. I think I’d want the fans to know is that we’re incredibly grateful to them for watching us and following us. We’re very appreciative, and we hope that one day, if any of them wants to get into real estate, they know they can always e-mail us. We’re always willing to help. I think what I’d like them to know the most is to be true to yourself and work hard, everything can be achieved and more if you keep your focus.”
In the hopes of getting some dirt on David, I begged James to tell me one crazy and inappropriate story that David may not share himself. James stammers, “Oh boy! There are about 480,000 of those!” yet he declines to give any further dirt. Did David do the same? You’ll have to tune in for tomorrow’s installment. Bravo loves a crossover…almost as much as its stars! Bethenny Frankel isn’t afraid to speak her mind or flaunt her time with famous cohorts. The Real Housewives of New York star was recently spotted palling around with another Big Apple reality star of the real estate porn kind–Million Dollar Listing New York’s Fredrik Eklund. Of course, this pairing is more than a friendship, it’s a working relationship of the multi-million dollar kind.
With her drawn out divorce from Jason Hoppy finalized in July, that means the ex-hubs has vacated Bethenny’s one-time dream apartment. Now Bethenny is ready to start fresh, and let the apartment be someone else’s dream home. And obviously, if one decides to sell prime real estate in the heart of Manhattan, they need to enlist the best to make sure the property goes for asking price. That’s where the kung fu kicking agent comes in!

Fredrik posted the above picture of him and Bethenny yesterday on his Instagram, writing, “Thank you for trusting me to sell your apartment, Bethenny. I just listed 195 Hudson Street in TriBeCa at $6,950,000! A gorgeous, newly renovated 3,600 sqft corner 4-bedroom loft with private parking, so bright and beautiful. Details and photos of @bethennyfrankel ‘s loft with a link in my bio #weeee!”
The link takes the reader to an article on the People site which showcases the abode, complete with a giant dressing room and spa style bathroom in the master. Bethenny’s building, touted as one of Tribeca’s “most sought after boutique condo loft buildings,” also houses an apartment owned by Beyonce and Jay-Z. Those are some famous neighbors! I wonder if Bryn and Blue Ivy had play dates…
Bethenny had two of the bedrooms outfitted for daughter Bryn, complete with chalkboard paint, and the upstairs loft is set up as a large office. However, it could be transformed into a fifth bedroom. The kitchen includes a built-in espresso machine, state of the art appliances, and a wine fridge which has the potential to stock 180 bottles. Where do us little folks find one of those? No word on whether Bethenny’s pad will be featured as part of Fredrik’s MDLNY story line, but I wouldn’t be surprised!

Below Deck Mediterranean hit the airwaves this past summer, presenting another look at the Below Deck franchise in other waters. Kate Chastain, the awesomely snarky chief stew on Below Deck’s original series, gave Bravo her take on the Med spinoff and its season one cast members. Her basic assessment: They were great! Oh, except for Bryan Kattenburg. Yeah, he still sucks.
Kate especially loved seeing friend and coworker Ben Robinson star in the crossover series, especially enjoying his prowess with the ladies. She jokes, “I was just talking to Ben two days ago and said, ‘You know, [the] next season you do, you need to go for [hooking up with] three cast members in one season – like the Ben Grand Slam.”

During his time on Below Deck Med, Ben flirted with chief stew Hannah Ferrier (well, sort of…he mostly fended off her advances!), but ultimately hooked up with second stew Tiffany Copeland during the final episode.
Kate told Bravo’s Daily Dish she thinks Ben played up his big-man-on-campus persona, given that he was the crossover “star” from the original series. “I think Ben loved being on the Below Deck Med cast because he felt like a really big God because everybody else was new and looked up to him, so he was the only one who knew what he was doing,” she says, also adding that “the Mediterranean has a stigma of being more sophisticated, so Ben really felt like he could use his accent and his international knowledge more.”
Now that the Med season has wrapped, Kate shares that she actually has ties to some of its cast members. Kate says that Bobby Giancola, who she thinks is great, “is from my hometown [Melbourne, Florida], and I helped nudge him toward doing the yachting industry.”
Kate didn’t know the Med’s chief stew Hannah, but does admit she initially thought there might be a rivalry between them. “I mean, I would be lying to say I wasn’t at all feeling a little bit of potential rivalry because there’s another chief stew and another Below Deck,” she confesses, knowing that the audience would naturally make comparisons between the two.

But since the show has aired, Kate says it’s all good between the two chief stews: “I would love to work with or just hang out with Hannah. We’ve actually chatted on Skype a few times. I think we’re very similar. We have a lot of the same yachtie friends in the real yachting world. She’s badass.” A major difference between the two? One hooked up with Ben. One did not – despite her many desperate attempts!
Kate also enjoyed watching Jen Riservato (really?!) and Julia D’Albert Pusey on screen. And, surprise, surprise! She even met Tiffany post-filming – through Ben, of course. Says Kate about Tiffany, “I’ve met her a couple times at Ben’s house. I think everyone was great.”
Sure, everyone was great except, perhaps, the hideously arrogant and douchey first mate to ever sail the seas: Bryan. Kate shares that she did have the torturous pleasure of meeting Bryan. “And I’ve met him enough,” she quips.
Luckily for Kate, she wasn’t forced to be trapped on a boat with Bryan for 10 weeks. Although, it might be interesting to see how she would expertly handle him, no? Interestingly, Kate did not comment on everyone’s favorite “people person,” Danny Zuriekat. Ooh – I’d just love to hear her assessment of that man child!

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge weighs in this week on all things Vicki Gunvalson. Tamra calls Vicki a bully and so much more. Read on.
Tamra insists she wasn’t instigating with Shannon Beador and Vicki, she wanted them to address things and move on. “I brought up the voicemail to Vicki because she could at least say “thank you” to Shannon and they could move on. After all, Shannon did reach out to see how she was doing and tell her she didn’t understand the severity of the accident. I think it was a big step for Shannon to approach Vicki and to tell her she was sorry. It seemed like Vicki clearly wanted to hold on to the fact Shannon didn’t see her at the hospital. Almost like she had the upper hand now.”
Tamra knew that things weren’t going to go well once Vicki called Shannon a liar. “Shannon is not the type of person to just sit back. I told her I tried to get Vicki to talk to her but she said “no”. So, Shannon tried one more time. Vicki was not warm and accepting even though Shannon spoke to her nicely. Then Vicki calls her a liar. I knew that wasn’t going to go over too well. Shannon is an open book. I know that for sure. I found it very disturbing when Vicki said, “I have secrets about Shannon and David that Shannon told me in confidence. I keep it in a box with a pad lock, and the key hidden. I might reveal the secret that she doesn’t want anyone to know.” Oh s***, that’s down right low!”
Tamra adds in her blog, “When things started to get heated I said it’s time to move on. Meaning making a scene in Meghan’s store is not going to resolve anything.”
She says that it’s not her fault that Vicki was dating a jerk (aka Brooks Ayers). “When Vicki told me she was dating a police officer I was so happy she had found someone. She constantly says she doesn’t want to bring guys around us because of what happened with Brooks. It’s like she thinks it’s everyone’s fault he lied about cancer and us girls are to blame. It’s not our fault she was dating a jerk! The funny thing is she has involved herself in everyone’s relationship in the past. But acts like a victim. After Brooks it’s been a running joke with me and Briana that we will run a background check on the next guy that comes into her life. No, I would never actually do that, but Briana might?”
She calls Vicki’s bluff, saying that Vicki is just a shit-talker for the most part when it comes to her threats. “I’ve know Vicki long enough to know she has a habit of telling people she has dirt on them and if they don’t stop pushing her buttons she will expose it. She did it to Meghan last year and to me the year before. It’s a very juvenile way of fighting. Clearly she has told Kelly about it because she had Kelly tell me and Heather hoping it would get back to Shannon, but I didn’t say anything because I knew it was nonsense and Vicki’s way of threatening Shannon.”
She blasts, “Bottom line, Vicki is a bully. To say that she has a secret about Shannon that would hurt her family is just absolutely disgusting. Her family has gone through enough hurt. Leave them alone, Vicki. Heather said it best: ‘When you have a secret, you don’t say anything about it. Vicki going around telling everyone is more of a threat than anything.'”
I can’t wait for this cast trip to Ireland. Travel porn and a reality star shit show. Best of both worlds!

It was a little surprising that Kelley Johnson returned to Below Deck after a less than favorable appearance on season two. To put it mildly, people were not a fan of Kelley’s and no one was over him more than Captain Lee Rosbach. It’s tough to turn back once you piss off such a resolute figure like the Captain, but Kelley took that chance and decided to return for another season. He opened up about the reality check that he got watching himself on season two and why he actually decided to put himself in this situation again.
This season has only just begun, but so far it seems like Kelley made a good move returning to the show since he is getting a much more flattering portrayal this time around. Even the Captain is buying what Kelley has been saying.

It had to be tough returning to Below Deck after all of the negative feedback Kelley has received in the past, but Kelley explained why he wanted to do it in an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. Kelley explained, “It was all about redemption. I didn’t like the way Season 2 went for me. Once I got asked back, I just had to take this opportunity to show everybody out there and Captain Lee who I really am.”
I don’t blame him. If I thought that everyone had a poor view of me, I would do whatever I could to change their minds.
Kelley admitted season two was tough to watch: “Just watching myself, I cringed a lot during Season 2. And coming into this season, I just wanted to show [Captain Lee] what I could really do and what other boats had seen me do while I was working on them. I looked up to Captain Lee on Season 2 — it may not have shown through during that season — but I really do look up to Captain Lee, and so earning a good job from him is a very big deal to me.”

Kelley explained that the poor perception of him from Season 2 did not stop him from working on a yacht. Kelley said, “I’ve been on a boat since I left Season 2. I have not taken, basically, any hiatus from yachting.” That’s good that he had been working on himself and his craft for a while before rejoining the show. That’s probably why he is doing so much better this time around.
Not only is Kelley better at the job, but it just seems like he has really made some great strides as a person. Kelley shared, “I’ve matured a lot. Watching Season 2 really helped me do that. It gave me a way to look at myself after something had happened and time had passed so I could look at it from, ‘I’m not so upset right now. And it’s allowed me to grow my leadership and my respect for authority on vessels. And it’s also allowed me to — when I do interact in a situation that maybe [is] not the best — I do it under a cooler head than I used to.”
Good for Kelley. It’s nice to see someone redeem themselves especially after such a public dislike of his antics in the past.

We all know Once Upon a Time loves an origin story, and this one sure is sad. In the Sunday, Oct. 9 episode, Once Upon a Time revisits Cinderella (Jessy Schram) to learn a bit more about...Nobody puts a Housewife on a budget! It’s not surprising that a Housewife and a banker are not getting along, but it is surprising that Dorinda Medley got so tipsy during a recent lunch that she reportedly smacked one with her heel!

Sources report the Real Housewives Of New York star was having a boozy lunch when she got into a verbal kerfuffle with Harry Dubin, of the dubious affection of multiple Housewives. “Harry walked into a sh-tshow,” remarks a source, who has no idea why Dorinda started “inexplicably” screaming at him.
Unfortunately, investment banker Sylvester Miniter IV found himself playing Andy Cohen, and suffered the consequences for trying to intervene.
“When Sylvester tried to be a peacemaker and told Dorinda she was being inappropriate,” says Page Six. “Dorinda, who had her shoes in her hand, tried to spike him in the head with a high heel.”

Dorinda’s rep states that Dorinda had her shoes off “because her feet hurt.” Also, that’s what drunk girls do… after frat parties. Not, presumably, at UES lunch spots!
In a true reversal of fortunes, following the altercation, Dorinda‘s much maligned boyfriend John Mahdessian arrived to simmer her down and take her home like the wayward child who tantrums in a restaurant. According to sources, the mortified Dorinda apologized profusely to Sylvester the following day. And hopefully she also apologized to the restaurant.

Dorinda’s rep claims the incident was the result of emotional turmoil. “It was her late husband’s birthday. She’d been at his grave all day, and it was just too much for her.”
Mmmmm… Dorinda does know that outbursts such as these give credence to the rumored drug use among the Real Housewives Of New York cast? And that fingers were pointed directly at her nose during the most recent reunion?
It is unclear if Bravo cameras were rolling or not, but oh do I hope they were! I still love you Dorinda!

We all know what the biggest question of How to Get Away With Murder's third season is: Who's on the gurney?! But there's another mystery still unsolved: Where the heck is...Little Women: Atlanta is in full wedding mode, thanks to Monie Cashette’s recent engagement. But if you have ever planned a wedding (or watched this show), you know that big events mean even bigger drama and this wedding is going to be no exception. Friendships are shifting faster than I can keep up with but in an effort to keep you all in the loop, I’m going to try my best!
The day that Monie has been waiting for arrives. No, not the wedding itself but wedding dress shopping! She brings Bri Barlup and Ms. Juicy along to help her pick something out while bragging about going to the best wedding dress boutique in Atlanta. When they arrive, they are given pencils and paper and have to walk around the store, writing down which dresses they like… isn’t that how it works at IKEA? I’m not impressed so far.

Monie does clean up nice though and picks out some beautiful dresses to try on. She twirls and pouts for the mirror before pointing out that she is going to have to get whatever dress she chooses majorly tailored to fit her, which is pretty much how any wedding dress works, honey. They are all made to order and tailored accordingly. Thankfully, Monie picks one out before Ms. Juicy’s butt falls asleep.
On to more pressing matters, Ms. Juicy needs to plan the bachelorette party and Monie’s only requests are 1) turn up and 2) no drama. Good luck with that. As they go over the list of who to invite, Monie makes it clear Minnie Ross isn’t welcome, thanks to her little blow up at the bridal show last week.
Amanda and Andrea Salinas head to Aubrey’s first doctor’s appointment now that she is home. Amanda’s boyfriend comes along to help out but one person is notably absent – Chris, Aubrey’s dad and Andrea’s useless boyfriend. Luckily, Aubrey is doing well and has a clean bill of health and the twins can leave the pediatrician’s office feeling good.
Minnie is moving back home with her mom after Chris returned and Andrea kicked her out so they could have space as a family. I would love to know how this played out in real time because it looks like Minnie was only gone for a few days – she comes back into her mom’s house with one tiny suitcase and a picture frame in hand. Tammie told her this would happen and has no problem reminding Minnie.
But Minnie has something bigger to reveal to her mom – that she has been friendly with Juicy again. The same Juicy who put a restraining order on Tammie after she threw a plate of chicken wings on her. Tammie isn’t happy about this at all but her only warning is to keep her eye on Juicy.
Monie and fiancé Morlin meet with a wedding cake maker at her home for their cake tasting. What happened to the wedding planner and his $75K budget? Because I know this wouldn’t be approved by him. In between tastings, Morlin tells Monie that he’s sick of the drama between her and Minnie and helps Monie realize that even though they are fighting, she doesn’t want Minnie to miss out on her big day. Monie decides she should talk to Minnie and attempt to repair their friendship before her big day.
Andrea is adjusting to life with Aubrey and her second baby, boyfriend Chris. He has no clue what he’s doing with a baby (even though this is his second kid) and when Andrea asks if she can rely on him to watch Aubrey when she goes to Monie’s bachelorette party, the answer is a resounding no. He can’t even be bothered to change a diaper. He also couldn’t be bothered to cover up those nasty hickies on his neck so I don’t know what more Andrea expects at this point. Chris might as well have not come back at all.
Monie and Minnie sit down to lunch, Moscato (the wedding wine of choice), and to hash things out. Monie admits she misses her friendship with Minnie and even cries a little. She apologizes for not trusting Minnie and says she wants to move past it. Monie decides the only way to move forward would be with a big gesture and asks Minnie if she would be willing to be a co-Maid of Honor. I am rolling my eyes so hard – You need multiple Maids of Honor? Has Monie not heard of a bridal party? Just make her a bridesmaid!
It’s bachelorette party time! Ms. Juicy is surprised to even see Minnie invited and she’s about to get a bigger surprise with the whole co-Maid of Honor thing. Monie’s friends Samantha and Tonya come along and is it just me or is Tonya is the spitting image of J-Lo from her In Living Color days? Everyone is getting along but of course, the Tiny Twins have to take issue about Tonya taking up too much of the stripped pole on the party bus. I wish they would be less territorial about stripper poles.
The ladies make it to the strip club and Monie decides to announce that Minnie will be the co-Maid of Honor before they can even settle in. Ms. Juicy is pissed and Minnie acts like she can’t understand why Juicy would be pissed, knowing full well that this is karma for Juicy being smug in her friendship with Monie for so long. Minnie is thoroughly enjoying herself as she yells that Ms. Juicy needs help planning so the wedding isn’t ratchet. Minnie is drunk and I don’t mean drunk on alcohol. I mean drunk on power, now that she has a title in Monie’s wedding. Ms. Juicy isn’t happy and doesn’t want things to escalate so she leaves the bachelorette party right then and there.
The next night, Monie sits down with Ms. Juicy to work the whole thing out. Juicy apologizes right off the bat and says she shouldn’t have walked out but her issue is that she doesn’t want to share a title and as the self-appointed Queen of Atlanta, she doesn’t need help from anyone to assist with Monie’s wedding. Monie says she has pressure coming from all angles (welcome to wedding planning) and wants everyone to come together for her. She wants Juicy to suck it up, put her ego away, and acknowledge that it’s her wedding and her decision.
I do agree with that but I think Juicy’s real issue is how Monie announce the change in plans and then Minnie’s attitude about it. Ms. Juicy realizes it is Monie’s wedding and if this is what she wants, then she will go along with it for her sake.
Tonight’s episode ends on a serious and extremely sad note.
Emily Fernandez’s son JJ has passed away and the girls put their differences aside to honor his life. They all meet at a park and share some memories and thoughts about Emily and baby JJ. Bri reads her thoughts and tries to keep it together, which is impossible given how heartbreaking the situation is. You can see how this has affected the women and while it’s for the most tragic reason in the world, it’s nice to see them all come together and do something special to acknowledge JJ’s passing. Bri releases butterflies and I know I can’t keep it together here at home.
Let’s all send loving thoughts and peace to Emily and her family while they try to heal.

Criminal Minds said goodbye to Thomas Gibson, its star who has been with the show since the beginning 12 years ago, by...not acknowledging his exit. Gibson's last episode of Criminal...On last night’s episode of Don’t Be Tardy, the Biermanns are packing up and heading west. It’s time for a vacation from the day to day stresses of… ummmm… let me see… what are the stresses these people face on the daily? Caring for a new puppy and managing a busy Snapchat account? I can’t think of anything else so let’s just roll with that.
Since the trip to Montana is technically a trip home for Kroy Biermann, it will give him the opportunity to show his kids where he is from and also ask one of his close friends to be the executor of their estate and guardian of their kids if something should happen to them. Kim Zolciak Biermann’s stroke hasn’t just given her a new perspective on day to day life, it’s also made her realize their will is out of date and they can’t rely on either of their families when it comes to taking care of their brood.

In case you aren’t up to date on all things Kim, she is estranged from her parents after her mom sold stories to the tabloids and Kroy’s family doesn’t like her because she “already had two kids.” I’m sure that’s the only reason, right?
As the family prepares for their trip, Brielle, who refers to Kim by first name as opposed to “Mom,” has concerns. One of them being that her mom, sorry, Kim, has ordered some clothes for the trip and Brielle doesn’t appreciate that she’s almost forty years old and dresses like a teenager at a music festival. I swear, Kim is the Benjamin Button of Bravolebrities and ages backwards. Every time I hear about her age, it’s going down.
Brielle’s next concern is that there is no Chick-fil-A in Montana and how will she feed herself? Ah to have the metabolism of a twenty year old again. Kim is too busy to worry about Brielle’s petty problems once she realizes that the only big store in the Billings mall is JC Penney and there are no easily accessible Starbucks. It’s no wonder Kim and Brielle are so out of touch with geography and English vocabulary – their brains have basically turned into lumps of fried chicken marinated in skinny vanilla lattes.
The Biermann’s arrive in Montana for their five day stay at a lodge (a word that Kim is unfamiliar with) and Brielle marvels at how everyone is still driving on the same side of the road. In her chicken fried brain, everyone else in the world drives on the other side of the road (not even close, as Tracey points out) but I think the bigger issue here is that Brielle seems to think that Montana qualifies as another country.
After lunch, where Kim properly refuels with wine, they get to the lodge and settle in. The poor owner takes one look at this crew coming in and probably wishes she would have just stuck to a career in taxidermy. The next morning at breakfast, Kroy fits in a math lesson with KJ and Kash (save it for Brielle, please) when his friend Bruce shows up to take everyone sledding. Bruce is the Chosen One, as in, the person Kim and Kroy think would be best equipped to take over their brood if something should happen to them. They still need to ask for his permission, but in the meantime, let’s see if Bruce has what it takes when wrangling six kids on sleds and snow mobiles.
Everyone piles into the car and Kash screams a profanity multiple times. When Brielle brings it to Kim’s attention, Kim blandly notes that no one says that in their house, insinuating she isn’t sure where he would have picked that up. For someone who is so high maintenance, Kim really is the most chill mom ever. Except for when Ariana goes on a snow mobile with an adult for five mins. Or when Kash’s sled takes off down the hill, going approximately two miles per hour, while Kim tearless cries about how he could have been seriously injured if Bruce hadn’t chased him down.
Luckily, Bruce passed the heroics test with flying colors, Kash was saved and Kim did not lose an eyelash crying over any serious injuries. Now would be the perfect time to ask Bruce if he would be the executor of their estate and guardian of their kids if something should happen to them. Bruce valiantly steps up and agrees then makes a joke about putting on one of Kim’s wigs. Montana may not have Starbucks but they do have Bruce and that’s pretty darn good.

Last night on Little Women: LA, Terra Jole faced some frightening complications during the C-section birth of her second child (thank goodness we know all is okay, real time!). It didn’t help matters that charming hubby Joe Gnoffo suspiciously scheduled himself to be “out of the country” just days before the blessed event – something Terra was none too happy about.
Also, Jasmine Sorge has apparently gone through deep counseling to get over her very serious issue of not being a dog-person, because she’s back on the scene this week looking smug as ever as Christy McGinity all but BEGS her to be allowed back into the friend group. I’m sorry, but Jasmine being the gatekeeper of who’s “in” and who’s “out” among these ladies is just laughable. Not to mention, it’s totally the position Jasmine has been vying for since she first appeared on the scene. I half expected her to rise up from the cafe chair after her conversation with Christy, shouting maniacally, “THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!!!” – Highlander style. This chick is slithery.

After Tonya Banks goes 20 miserable rounds with the ladies over her comment about Briana Renee having an average sized child, everyone at the belly dancing party is basically exhausted. And perpetually confused. Because these women have very serious comprehension issues. No one but Tonya seems to understand her (extremely clear) statements, so Tonya just peaces out before she goes HAM on these heifers! Terra runs after her to encourage Tonya to make peace with the group, but Tonya stands by her statement that Briana would be in more danger if she were to raise an average sized child. “I’ll talk to her, but not today. Gotta go!” chirps Tonya, finally leaving for good.
At Christy’s house, her daughter Autumn is giving her grandma a makeover. Christy reports that Autumn has seen the doctor again recently, and it looks like she may have a dual hormone/thyroid issue going on. The family is worried about Autumn’s health, not to mention Christy’s father’s health. Christy’s mother wonders if her friends know just how much she’s going through personally right now? Christy wants to make amends with them, but feels she deserves an apology too. She’s sick of being their scapegoat. And if they call her “Crusty” one more freaking time, she might be well within her rights to smash multiple glasses over all of their heads.
At Terra’s, she and Joe are discussing their baby’s due date, which is coming up soon. Oh – and they’re moving, AND Terra’s poised to start rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars only 3 weeks after she gives birth! So, stress. Joe decides to pile on this stress heap by telling Terra that he and his band are scheduled to do a show in Tijuana, which will get him back into town only TWO days before the baby is due!
Breaking down in tears, Terra wonders, what if she can’t get a hold of Joe if something goes wrong? What if she goes into labor before her scheduled C-section date? Joe offers no words of comfort when he snarks that she should just message him on Facebook if there’s an issue.
Dude, I know Terra is a piece of work, but I really do feel for her in this moment. My dear hubby was out playing poker the night of my due date and I was ready to be fitted for a straight jacket by the time he rolled in at 2am! And he was in town. Terra feels alone, which with this guy, she basically is. At least she has her nanny, “Grandma Olivia,” to help with Penny while Joe is gone. Joe promises he won’t miss the birth of their child. And, for now, all they can do is trust the timing will work out as planned.
Elena Gant is at home helping her mom and sister pack for their trip back to Russia. She is going to miss her family, especially the help they’ve provided with her baby boys. Her little cuties are growing at different rates, but they’re both healthy and thriving. She and Preston haven’t done genetic testing yet; they just aren’t ready. She wants to enjoy the moment for now.
At her pre-op appointment, Terra has brought Tonya along for support. Despite their belly dancing debacle – which involved Terra throwing Tonya under the bus – Tonya will always be loyal to her. Like bad enchiladas, Terra’s argument about the average sized child bullsh*t is repeating on Tonya one too many times. She is DONE talking about this, even though Terra wants to go another round right here in the OB/GYN waiting room. Tonya agrees to explain herself to Briana again if she must, but she will not be changing her stance. Briana’s feelings are less important than her safety.
In the exam room, Terra learns that all is going well. She also wants to eat her placenta. So…there’s that! As Tonya forces the vomit back down her throat, Terra and her doctor openly discuss the benefits of placenta encapsulation (making the placenta into capsules) or raw-dogging it all the way. That is, taking home one’s placenta in a zip lock bag of sorts, I assume? “You can tell I’m an old b*tch because this is some new age sh*t!” laughs Tonya.
On a more serious note, Terra reports that her right breast has been leaking blood. After a quick examination, the doctor doesn’t think this is a big issue. It’s most likely benign, though Terra worries it might be cancer, which runs in her family.
Briana and Jasmine are heading over to Tonya’s house to make a casserole for Terra. Briana was reluctant to see Tonya after belly dancing, but agrees to set it aside for Terra’s sake. As they cook, Tonya fills the ladies in about Joe not being there for Terra right now, and about the blood leaking from her breast. They hope she’s okay.
Oh god no! Conversation moves on to Tonya’s comments about Briana, which she’s still licking her wounds over. Tonya apologizes for hurting her feelings, though she basically stands by her statements. Briana reluctantly accepts. But wait! No one is paying attention to Jasmine’s SUPER SPECIAL feelings! So she gets all up on Tonya, basically fishing for her apology next.
Tonya has no time for this thirsty wench, basically shutting her down with another It’s not about you! statement. Jasmine will just have to accept that she does not have a dog in this fight. (But she does hate dogs, right? Let’s all focus on that and fight about it for twelve more weeks! Yeehaw! #StorylineFromHell)
Oh snap. It’s the moment Jasmine has been waiting for since she first donned her 3-inch synthetic lashes on the small screen: Power trip lunch with Christy! As the two ladies sit down, a sheepish Christy – now all but banished from the group – fills Jasmine in on her family’s health issues. Jasmine seems concerned, but snipes from the side that Christy doesn’t seem like herself lately. Christy admits she acted badly at Elena’s birthday party, and she needs to apologize for that behavior. She asks Jasmine if she will help her make peace with the girls? “I mean, I can only help you so much…” trails off Jasmine, who is probably envisioning the HBIC crown being lain atop her head at this very moment.
OK, guys. Yes, Christy is a mess. I think the entire world is clear on that point. And she did indeed act like a lunatic at Elena’s party, especially with the name calling. And choosing Tonya’s photo shoot to trot out Plastic Martyr was not the work of a rocket scientist. She has misstepped again and again. But let’s just pause to reflect on how far Christy has been pushed this season. Terra has been relentlessly gunning for her all season due to the legal action taken last year. Briana cut her out like cancer because Christy was in contact with Briana’s family during her hospital stay (and yes, she may have told them about Matt’s sexting too – but come on! – who does NOT know that he is a world class sack of sh*t by now!? This is not newsworthy.).
Every event Christy’s has shown up to has ended with her being shouted out of the party. And the entire group seems to delusionally think Christy is at the center of Briana’s legal issues with her publicist, despite the actual publicist stating otherwise. They’ve also accused her of drug abuse, something that cuts close to the bone for a woman trying to maintain her sobriety. Oh – and no one will stop calling her damn “Crusty”! Which is degrading, childish, and as vile as the people these little women claim have “bullied” them for years. So, who wouldn’t eventually snap? It’s hard to defend Christy’s actions sometimes. But seriously – enough is enough!
Okay, moving on to happier subjects – babies! Joe has indeed gotten home from his trip in time for Terra’s C-section, which is scheduled for the next day. They review their birth plan, which includes a “one touch spinal.” Terra is very concerned about her and the baby’s health, as all little people are when giving birth. Joe thinks they need to prepare themselves for anything, as every birth – just like every baby – is different.
After they get situated in the hospital, Terra records a sweet video for the baby to be, and she and Joe get excited about whether this little one will be a boy or a girl. As Terra prepares for sedation, Joe reassures her that it will all be okay. He feels like he’s stronger than ever now that he’s lost weight, and says he wants “to be a better guy” for all of them. Aww. (Tender moment from Joe?! Are we in an alternate universe?!)
During sedation, Terra is hurting and frightened. Joe comforts her while the doctor does his work. Then suddenly – he’s HERE!!! It’s a BOY!!! Healthy baby Grayson joins Terra and Joe with a nice big cry, now making them a family of four. Yay, babies!
But before they can celebrate, things get a bit scary as the doctors work to get Terra sewn back up. Ultimately, it all works out fine though, and Joe is able to move away from his wife to cut Grayson’s cord. Although there’s obviously no genetic testing yet, Joe notes that Grayson looks much different than Penny did at birth. He might be average sized, but they’ll have to wait to see.
The good news now is that Grayson – unlike Penny – will not have to go to the NICU. He can start off the first day of this life right where Terra wants him to: In her arms.
