Big Brother Players Who Were Robbed of a Win

Most Big Brother seasons crown a deserving winner that fans are pleased to see take home the grand prize. But once in a while, a BB finale causes an uproar among fans who feel a certain houseguest was robbed of victory. Usually, this occurs because the jury cannot set aside their grievances. Jury management is a crucial part of a good Big Brother game and some players fall short when it comes to appeasing their fellow houseguests.

So, who are these Big Brother players who caused a stir in the fandom? Keep reading to find out.

Danielle Reyes deserved to win Big Brother 3

Danielle Reyes is the Robbed Goddess of Big Brother. Fans often refer to her as “the best to never win,” and her loss to Lisa Donahue in Season 3 has been a source of controversy among the fandom since 2002.

Dani played a masterful game, but her snarky confessionals cost her the $500,000 prize. In Big Brother 3, the jury was not sequestered, meaning the eliminated houseguests went home and saw her trash them on national television. Her confessionals soured the jury’s perception of her as a player. When finale night arrived, they chose to reward Lisa’s sweetness. Dani’s loss caused such an uproar that Big Brother began sequestering the jury the following season.

Dan Gheesling deserved to win Big Brother 14

Dan Gheesling schemed his way to victory in Big Brother 10 but wasn’t so lucky in Big Brother 14. The Michigan native made a series of bold moves that landed him in the final two chairs. But his lack of jury management cost him the win. His fellow players did not appreciate his manipulative gameplay strategy and chose to crown newbie Ian Terry. While Ian played a solid game, many fans criticized the BB14 jury for not giving Dan the win, especially after he staged one of the most brilliant coups in Big Brother history – Dan’s funeral.

Dan spoke about the loss in an interview with Big Brother Network in 2012. He told the outlet he felt “disappointed” by the jury.

“It’s unfortunate because the only thing I wanted, and maybe I’ll never know, all I wanted was a fair shake at four votes. Four people with an open mind to consider it,” he said. “What really, it didn’t bother me, but disappointing was I heard after the fact was Jenn voted based on solely because she didn’t want to give the game to someone else who had won it before as compared to someone on the merit of how they played the game. That was disappointing to me as a player and a lover of the game.”

Paul Abrahamian deserved to win Big Brother 18 and Big Brother 19

Paul Abrahamian made it to the finale of Big Brother 18 and Big Brother 19, but he was never able to convince a jury. The Clothing Designer was effective at rallying votes, making deals, and winning challenges when needed. But his aggressive gameplay style rubbed his fellow houseguests the wrong way. He ruled the BB House like a mad king and the houseguests didn’t want to reward his behavior. He arguably played a stronger game than BB18 winner Nicole Franzel and BB19 winner Josh Martinez, but his personality made him hard to root for. Like Dan, his lack of jury management cost him the game.

Tyler Crispen deserved to win Big Brother 20

In my opinion, Tyler Crispen deserved to win Big Brother 20. To this day, I regard his Big Brother 20 performance as one of the greatest of all time. He made the right alliances, manipulated his fellow houseguests into doing his bidding, and caused division in the house to his benefit. It was pretty genius. His game was impressive but like many greats that came before him, a scorned jury robbed him of the prize. The majority of the jury voted for Tyler’s Level Six ally, Kaycee Clark because they liked her more than him.

Big Brother is streaming on Paramount Plus.

Vanderpump Rules Reboot Details: Everything We Know So Far

Vanderpump Rules is returning with a new cast. In 2024, executive producer Alex Baskin revealed that the beloved Bravo series will be rebooted after the OG cast failed to reconcile after Season 11. Much about the upcoming season is still under wraps, but a few details have been leaked. If you’re anxious to know more, don’t worry, we have you covered.

Here’s everything we know about the Vanderpump Rules reboot …

Peter Madrigal calls Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules “insane”

Peter Madrigal spoke to People about the upcoming season at the Young Hollywood & the Breakout Stars of 2024 event. The SUR Manager told the outlet fans can expect “a lot of drama” from the new cast.

“I know the new cast. Yeah, I know them pretty well,” he said. “There’s a lot of drama going on at the restaurant. There always is … So, it’s going to be insane. It’s going to be a little bit intense. Absolutely.”

Lisa Vanderpump echoed Peter’s sentiment in an interview with TMZ, saying the new season will not disappoint viewers.

We don’t know much about the new cast but we do know they work at SUR. A press release for the reboot teased that the upcoming season will be a return to form for the series, describing the cast as “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.”

It appears the reboot will be similar to the early seasons of VPR. I think investing in a new group is a smart move for the network. VPR lost some of its magic when the cast “grew up.” All of a sudden, they had businesses, mortgages, and children, which meant the days of booze-filled Vegas trips were behind them. I’m happy to see them thrive, but secretly, I miss the drama.

Lisa dished about the Season 12 cast to Us Weekly, describing the newbies as “interesting.”

“When you have a restaurant, especially in Hollywood, with a revolving door of beautiful people who are all kinds of normally rather large personalities because they come to Hollywood for a reason, it’s always complicated,” she shared. “I am sure it’s gonna be very different with these young minxes when they get to work, but we shall see. I got some very interesting characters for sure, but SUR has been around for a very long time, and as I say, it’s a show we could have shot 12 months of the year.”

When will Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules be filmed?

In 2024, TMZ reported that a camera crew was spotted at SUR. A source told the outlet that a new show about LVP’s employees was being filmed. However, a November 2024 press release noted that production for the reboot will begin sometime in 2025. Furthermore, Lisa told E! News they have not begun filming yet.

Fans will likely have to wait a bit longer for Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules.

Why was Vanderpump Rules rebooted?

Season 11 was a tough season for VPR. The cast was recovering from #Scandoval, making it a difficult season to shoot. Ariana Madix did not want to film with Tom Sandoval (more than fair), so the cast was divided with half the cast willing to speak to him, and the other half avoiding him completely. VPR functions best as an ensemble cast and that dynamic was missing from last season.

In the wake of the reboot news, the OG cast commemorated their time on the show via Instagram, thanking fans for their continued support for over a decade. A source close to the show told People that the rocky cast relationships are the reason for the reboot.

“There had been a long pause in production, and nothing had really changed among the cast since the [season 11] reunion,” they told the outlet. “The network felt there was no path forward with the group in that capacity.”

Vanderpump Rules is available to stream on Peacock.

Days after Galentine’s week, Cardi B gave her youngest daughter a special gift, which is her first set of diamond earrings. In one of the new Instagram Stories posted by the rapper, fans can see her buying two matching pairs of mesmerizing diamond earrings from Pristine Jewelers. In the video, Cardi B explained that one of the pairs, which had the bigger diamonds, was for her. Meanwhile, the other pair with comparatively smaller diamonds was for her precious baby girl.

Picking up each of the earring sets, the mother of three clarified in the video, “For me. For my daughter.” As the Instagram video went on, Cardi B suddenly remembered that she also had to buy some diamond earrings for her 6-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus. The rapper, who shares her three kids with her estranged husband Offset, then jokingly added, “Having daughters is like so expensive.”

Meanwhile, the next Instagram Story showed Cardi B’s little daughter getting the new diamond earrings put on her little ears at the Pristine Jewelers’ shop. In the background, fans can also hear the rapper mention the jeweler’s name. Besides these two videos, Cardi B also posted another clip in her stories, with the musician flaunting a dazzling diamond ring she gifted her mother. “For the Mother B,” read the on-screen text on the video.
