Erika Jayne Questions Kathryn Edwards’ Sudden Loyalty To Lisa Vanderpump

Erika analyzes LVP

Erika analyzes LVP

Erika Jayne has quickly fallen down the list of my favorite newcomers on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She started off strong but something changed over the past few episodes – starting with the lying during the concert after party and it has continued on from there. This week in her blog, the RHOBH cast newbie shares that she’s befuddled over Kathryn Edwards‘ loyalty to Lisa Vanderpump since they just met. And in that same vein I ask Erika, why does she have such a dislike for Lisa when she also only just met her, as well?

She opens her blog quoting Kathryn from the past two episodes

“Trust me, I’ll never use anything against you that you tell me.” – Kathryn Edwards
“If you don’t want it repeated, you don’t say it.” – Kathryn Edwards

“So which one is it? Because I’m confused!  The way I see it: Everything you hear is confidential unless someone tells you otherwise. It’s common sense. It’s interesting that Kathryn suddenly has this loyalty to LVP. They just met, what, a couple of weeks ago? Why this allegiance? Yet they both question my and Yolanda’s friendship.”  I don’t think anyone is questioning the friendship – some were just curious how LONG they’ve been friends.  A natural question since Yolanda introduced her to the group..  And, if they’re pretty tight, why does Yolanda STILL misspell her name in every.single.blog.?  #petpeeve

Erika doesn’t think that Kathryn’s honesty would work both ways, “I’ll bet if I asked Kathryn to tell me what she and LVP say about me, she wouldn’t share that information. I can’t help but feel that Kathryn went to LVP’s house on a mission. It is my place to tell LVP how I feel about her, not Kathryn’s. And to quote Vanderpump, “I don’t need anyone to speak on my behalf,” either.”

Erika also makes a little dig in reference to Kathryn’s “six tears” comment.  “Watching Kathryn discuss her mother’s early stages of dementia with her sisters struck me very deeply. I, too, remember when my grandmother was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and how I watched her decay over the next decade. Perhaps they will shed more than “six tears.””

Do you think this is who Kathryn is and she’d be honest and share what’s said about any of the cast members?  Or is her loyalty and honesty only for Lisa Vanderpump, even though they just met? Do you think Erika is looking for drama with her co-stars?

Lisa Vanderpump Defends Herself Against Erika Girardi’s Accusations

Lisa Vanderpump's blog

Lisa Vanderpump's blog

In her blog, Lisa Vanderpump defends herself against Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Erika Girardi‘s attacks on her character.

Lisa calls the episode “disappointing,” adding, “The strangest part of this whole experience is the false sense of security as you invest in new friendships.”

“Friendships that start to prosper and develop (albeit riddled with hurdles as we navigate the complicated route that reality television entails). Friendships you believe have some sort of longevity…only to see them shattered as you witness the vicious statements in confessionals and unseen footage that enlightens you now, that all was not as you thought,” says Lisa. “I had not a clue that I was the primary subject of discussion between some of the women.”

Lisa adds, “I was disappointed to see some keep initiating negativity regarding my character. Eileen seems to be like a dog with a bone, not willing to let it go.”

About questioning Erika and Yolanda‘s friendship, Lisa points out, “It was an innocuous question to Erika: How long had she known Yolanda? How sinister is that? When Kathryn was introduced, it was understood immediately the length of time she had known Rinna. I understand that to be a basic question when meeting somebody for the first time through a mutual friend.”

Lisa defends Kathryn Edwards for trying to gently give her a head’s up about Erika‘s true feelings about Lisa.

“I think too much has been made of Kathryn making the web comment, but now I view the footage I realize that she protected me,” shares Lisa, “only giving me an inkling of what had been said, gently giving me the heads up that all was not as I believed. Of course I would’ve learned about this later, but as a friend she was enlightening me now but minimizing the backstabbing statements, not like Erika who exaggerated something as she repeated it to Yolanda regarding me and the children.”

RELATED: KATHRYN EDWARDS INSISTS SHE DID NOTHING WRONG

Lisa insists she will always confront things head on and questions the co-stars who have said she’s manipulative.

“I went straight to Erika, to her face, hardly a sniper’s tactic. I also went directly to Yolanda, reassuring her there was no negativity regarding her children, and I asked Eileen, ‘Are we good?’” says Lisa. “I was not huddling in a group at the end of the table or meeting later in the park to speak detrimentally about them. Where is the manipulation?”

Lisa points out, she could have gone after several of her co-stars if she wanted to, but she didn’t.

“I didn’t go after Rinna when I believed she had told Yolanda, as Yolanda led me to believe, I didn’t go after Erika when we learned it was her, I didn’t berate Eileen when she just left without a word in the Hamptons. They were all easy targets. My tendency is to take people at face value, to believe what they show you until proven otherwise,” shares Lisa. “Life isn’t about looking for problems, it’s about honest conversations and, I hope, mostly coupled with humor.”

Lisa bemoans (and warns viewers), “This is the start of an emotionally draining experience that has resonated for sure.”

Little Women: Atlanta Recap – The Trouble With Hubble Bubble

Little Women: Atlanta - Hubble Bubble

Little Women: Atlanta - Hubble Bubble

On last night’s Little Women: Atlanta Monie Cashette tried to break into the entertainment business as a video vixen casting agent. Like many things Monie has tried as of late, t’was not a success!

Everyone is still reeling over the fight between the Tiny Twins and The Cheeks. Emily Fernandez and Bri Barlup blame the twins for instigating. Bri got involved because she was defending pregnant Emily, Emily got involved because it was two twins to one Cheek! Bri complains that Andrea Salinas thought Bri was pushing Amanda Salinas, when Bri was actually just warning her to back up. Andrea mistook Bri’s raised hand as a shove, rushing over to defend her sister, and that’s where things got out of hand!

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

lwa-bri-emily

Bri and Emily blame the twins’ insecurity and desperation to break into the Atlanta club scene for creating unnecessary drama. Predictably Andrea and Amanda see things differently. They can’t believe pregnant Emily would be in the club, twerking, and blame her mouth for escalating the situation. It doesn’t matter to Andrea that Emily is pregnant – next time she’ll fight back. Oddly the twins STILL consider Emily and Bri friends and hope everyone will move on. Yet, they believe Emily controls Bri, so if Emily stays mad, Bri will too.

Even weirder – all the girls are supposed to go out with Minnie Ross. Emily and Bri don’t think the twins will dare show up, but Andrea and Amanda think it’s best to go and pretend the fight never happened!

Minnie and Monie meet Bri, Emily, and Wooda at the club. Before they go in Minnie warns them to stop the foolishness, since they’re all friends. Emily and Bri are shocked when Amanda and Andrea walk in. They engage in some she-said/she-said; Emily “pops off” about the twins getting in their faces first, but the twins argue that it was Emily who started everything with her mouth.

lwa-twins

Minnie intervenes to remind them to keep in check. All of the sudden Emily is like OK, let’s be friends even though you pushed me while I’m pregnant and I dragged your fake hair across the floor of a club. CHEERS! Seriously – Emily is the least exhausted pregnant woman I’ve ever met! In my first trimester I could barely get out of bed to eat!

With all THAT behind them, Monie still feels like she and Minnie have unresolved issues after Minnie confessed to lying about her relationship with Pastor Troy. Because they’re close friends, Monie decides to trust that Minnie won’t lie again. Monie gets her hair done at Minnie’s salon, and brings up the Pastor Troy incident. Minnie promises she’ll never be dishonest again, and Monie promises to let it go. Then Monie tells Minnie about her new job casting a music video for her friend “Turb” and his twerking song “Hubble Bubble.” Minnie, like the rest of us, has no idea what a “hubble bubble” is.

lwa-monie-minnie

Monie wants to empower little people and show everyone they’re just as sexy as average sized people, so she wants all her friends to be in the video. Turb likes the concept, thinking it will give his video an edge. Minnie refuses to be part of it unless she loses weight.

Across town, Bri, Wooda, and Malik go to the park where Bri confronts Wooda about their non-relationship. Bri wants counseling to figure out how to be a family for Malik – a family meaning Bri and Wooda are a couple. Wooda seems like a great dad, but he’s horribly selfish with Bri, who puts up with it! Wooda insists he doesn’t need counseling, but Bri does. Eventually Wooda agrees to go along while BRI gets counseling, but he’s only going for Malik – not Bri!

After being inspired by Re-Bootcamp, Bri and Wooda see Pastor Calvin and his wife for therapy. They both admit to never being in a relationship with each other – other than hooking up – and Wooda fesses-up to seeing someone else. Pastor Calvin and his wife advise Bri to give up on the idea of Wooda. Girl – he’s just not that into you!

Bri is shocked that Pastor Calvin, like everyone else, thinks Wooda isn’t worth her time. He even point-blank asks Bri why she would settle and put up with his BS? Thankfully Bri finally realizes Malik will still have a dad, even if she and Wooda aren’t a family. Bri decides to she and Malik will move in with Emily

lwa-wooda-bri

While Bri is unpacking at Emily’s, Monie texts to ask if they’ll be in Turb’s video. Emily and Bri find the idea hilarious but call Monie to find out what’s up. Emily and Bri are dubious, since they’ve been in several other “legit” music videos, but agree to do it for Monie. There’s just one caveat: it’s unpaid, which is weird to The Cheeks. Emily instantly worries that it will be another case of little people being exploited as freak factor.

The Tiny Twins are also on board, but there’s one issue: The director and Turb decided Minnie doesn’t fulfill the criteria in the looks department! Monie is forced to tell her friend the bad news. Minnie didn’t want to be in the video, but it’s still hurtful. It’s even more disappointing because Minnie has been dieting and working hard to lose weight in preparation. Monie tries to soften the blow that Minnie is too wholesome and sweet looking, but Minnie knows it’s about her weight. I will say, she’s looking great with the weight loss!

Monie asks Minnie to come to the shoot as support, since she’s nervous about everything going OK. She’s also nervous that it could turn out to be another case of little people being ‘used’ to get extra attention for Turb’s song, and they’ll be mocked instead of celebrated. Minnie agrees to go along as hair and makeup.

Bri is still feeling really sad about the uhhhhh… whatever you call her split with Wooda. Her mom and brother visit to cheer her up. Bri’s mom is a little person but her brother is averaged-sized. After years of hearing about the nonsense with Wooda, Bri’s family is relieved she’s moving on. Bri’s own father was the same way, but her mom stayed with him for the kids, hoping he’d change, but he never did. Bri realizes she had a great father, even though he wasn’t with her mom, and accepts that Malik will be better off with two happy parents, co-parenting, than constant fighting over their relationship (or non-relationship).

While Bri is facing reality about Wooda, Emily isn’t giving up on the idea of being in a relationship with Lontel! She believes if he sees an ultrasound of their baby, he’ll come back. Emily was already a single mom (Really? Where’s Ava again?) with Ava, and doesn’t want to do it again.

Lontel and Emily go to the OB/GYN and see the baby. Lontel is excited viewing the ultrasound but seems no closer to wanting to be involved with Emily OR fatherhood. That’s not the only bad news! The doctor tells Emily she’s gained 4 lbs since her last appointment, and her blood pressure is “through the roof.” Emily realizes she’s been focusing too much on drama (like fighting with The Twins) and not enough on taking care of herself. She promises to eat healthier and take it easy. Hopefully living with Bri, who seems extremely calm, will simmer Emily down!

On the day of the video, the ladies assemble at a warehouse where the shoot is taking place. A low-rider is driven in as the ‘lone prop.’

lwa-monie-emily

Before even getting through the door Emily has serious doubts about how unprofessional everything appears, especially compared to other sets she’s been on. Then they meet the director. He doesn’t have any concrete concept for the video, there’s no video crew, and the ladies haven’t even seen the contracts yet. Even worse, he can’t even remember Monie’s name and keeps calling her Brittany. The director planned to have advertisers involved somehow and hoped to use the video footage to promote something. What exactly, isn’t specified.

Emily immediately decides she’s not participating and uses being pregnant as an excuse. In the dressing room she warns the other girls that legally the contracts don’t stipulate what the footage will be used for, so they could use it for anything – even to mock little people, or to use their likeness to get attention for something else. Monie still believes Turb is her friend and therefore it’s legit. Minnie, on the other hand, agrees with Emily that it sounds shady and worries that the director has no plans to celebrate little people in Turb’s video!

lwa-minnie

Minnie confronts Monie about how disorganized and unprofessional the entire thing is – like where is the set list, there’s nothing arranged, there isn’t even a crew – just one director who seems high and is wearing a hot pink shirt with red pants!

Monie agrees to talk talk to Turb and the director for reassurance that the video is legit and they aren’t planning to misuse anyone’s image, unfortunately the director calls her Brittany again! Still, Monie and the twins decide to go through with it, Bri remains non-committal.

In the first take, they realize the director is filming the entire shoot WITH A HANDYCAM! There’s no lighting. No sound crew – just Turb rapping about “hubble bubbles” to a backing track, in front of a car while Monie bops awkwardly to the music. The only directives are, when the director yells “Action” they shoot, when he yells “cut” they’re done. After Monie shoots her scene, Andrea and Amanda start twerking, but the director cuts filming because he wasn’t ready. Monie questions him, but he again calls her Brittany – that is it for Emily and Minnie who call the director out on his joke of a shoot. “You just want little people cause it’s gimmicky,” asserts Emily.

The director asks the Littles to leave and calls-in an “average-sized” person to fulfill their role. That confirms for Monie that all along Turb and the director had planned to “use” her friends by featuring them mockingly in the video.

Little Women: Atlanta - Hubble bubble

Monie argues with the director about his casting lie, but he’s too cool to recognize he’s a fool and snaps, “I don’t chase; I replace.”  HA! The ladies burst out laughing at the stupidity of the whole thing and are glad they never actually filmed anything.

Monie is disappointed that her plans for this to be a positive experience for the group didn’t work out, but also because yet another one of her plans to break into the entertainment industry flopped.

TELL US – DID THE LADIES MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE BY LEAVING THE VIDEO? IS BRI REALLY DONE WITH WOODA? ARE YOU SURPRISED THE TWINS AND THE CHEEKS FORGAVE EACH OTHER?

Big Brother Canada 4: Premiere Recap

Big Brother Canada’s fourth season kicked off last night! We met our fifteen new houseguests and Arisa introduced a few twists! Finally, they competed in their first Head of Household competition! Want a reminder of what went down? We’ve got it all right here!

bbcan4_3

Source: Global TV Canada

Season four is introduced to us by a swanky, sleek intro sequence that also brings in the casino theme that appears to be a part of the house design and potential twists this winter. While much is still very vague, Arisa informs the viewers “the house always wins.”

We then meet our first group of houseguests: Dallas, Cassandra, Maddy, Philippe, and Sharry. I was surprised to see that so many of the big personalities were grouped together. These segments are mostly just filler but it gives us an idea of who production sees these houseguests as and what they want us to see. Maddy was labeled a “gym rat” which is something that didn’t come across in her profile. Dallas comes across as the life of the party and fixates on his east coast pride. Cassandra almost comes across like Big Brother 16’s Victoria Rafaeli, a pampered princess who gets what she wants. Philippe fixates on his career as a DJ, and Sharry is shown with her girlfriend. They enter the house, somewhat subdued and the first room they enter in the storage room.

The next group is then introduced: Raul, Loveita, Joel, Jared, and Kelsey. From the get go, they are pushing a showmance between Jared and Kelsey before they’ve even step foot into the house. Loveita mentions her past working in the oil industry which was news to me. Joel reveals that he’s never had a girlfriend and is saving himself for someone special. Meanwhile, Raul seems to channel season one’s Gary Levy with his love for fashion and flair. Like the first group, they enter somewhat calmly and start getting to know one another.

The final group of houseguests to enter are: Paige, Mitchell, Ramsey, and Christine. Paige shows that she’s not to be messed with and discusses her involvement in hunting. Mitchell focuses on his YouTube career and boyfriend. While Ramsey highlights his Muslim beliefs and Christine speaks about being a cleaner and having two adult children.

They join the rest of their housemates and we see a brief clip of them getting introductions out of the way after Joel pops the champagne. In the first aired Diary Room of the season, Maddy says she doesn’t like Kelsey and finds her fake. Meanwhile, Dallas can’t believe that Christine is 47 and implies that she looks great for her age.

Arisa then reveals the “Double Down” twist to us and introduces Philippe’s younger brother Nicholas. He enters the house which would be strange in any case since he’s entering alone, but he and Philippe pretend to not know one another. Arisa explains that they did not know ahead of time that they’d both be houseguests, which may or may not be true. She also reveals that they’ll be playing as one houseguest, alternating for competitions and being nominated and/or evicted together. She blows their cover by announcing it to the house and it leads to them feeling like targets.

We are then brought to the backyard for the first Head of Household competition. The competition involves them standing on a small pedestal that narrows as time goes on as they hold onto a rope and are squirted with ice cold water throughout the game.Nicholas is competing for the brothers since he won the rock-paper-scissors game they played.

Before the game began, houseguests voted on who they expected to be first out and the winner of this endurance contest. Joel was expected to be first out, and if he does better than this, he will be immune for the week. Meanwhile, Nick was expected to win, so if he does not, he’ll be in solitary confinement for the evening.

The competition kicks off and despite not wanting to go out first, Cassandra drops due to her makeup and hair being ruined, as she tells us in he DR. She reveals that she had no intentions of winning anyways. Joel then drops right away after achieving immunity for the week. Despite wanting to win, Dallas drops next and has a good attitude about it.

As the houseguests go down to the next foothold, Christine drops followed by Paige and Maddy. We go to a commercial break with Nick, Sharry, Loveita, Raul, Jared, Kelsey, Mitchell, and Ramsey still remaining in the competition with Nick worried about letting his brother Philippe down if he doesn’t win it for them and having to suffer through solitary confinement for the night.

After the break, Nick falls and takes down Sharry with him. It seems as though many of the other houseguests were just trying to outlast Nick because many of them fall right after leaving a showdown between Loveita and Jared. Wanting to end the competition quickly, Jared asks if Loveita would keep him safe if he gives her Head of Household, and she agrees. Thus, he jumps down and Loveita is crowned the first Head of Household of Big Brother Canada 4!

Arisa then tells fans about the International Wildcard twist and we get a chance to meet Nikki, Jase, Veronica, and Tim. She explains that viewers can vote on who they want to enter the house and that it will all be happening tomorrow after the first eviction.

The show closes and we’re left with many questions. Who will Loveita nominate? Will there be a Power of Veto competition and who will win? And ultimately, who is going to be first evicted? Most importantly, are they going to be able to fit all of that and the International Wildcard reveal and entrance within a one hour show tonight? It all will be revealed to us tonight, at 8:00 PM Eastern on Big Brother Canada 4! And feeds will kick off sometime after the show tonight. Arisa may reveal the details of when exactly the live feeds will begin.

It’s sure to be a fun winter, stay tuned for more coverage and follow us at @BigBroAccess for live tweeting of the shows and live feeds as we get fully underway!

Mob Wives Recap: Impressive Art And Broken Hearts

karen mob wives

I thought maybe watching Mob Wives would get easier, but it didn’t. I’m still so sad for Big Ang’s family and friends, and I want her co-stars to stop engaging in behavior that she would frown upon. Do you hear that ladies? The episode begins with Carla Facciolo, Renee Graziano, and Karen Gravano coming to cook for Ang who is recuperating form her lung surgery. While she is in a lot of pain, she’s up and about and anxious to find out if she’ll have to undergo chemotherapy. As the women nosh on a delicious looking spread, Karen shares her disappointment that her father has been denied early release. She blames his name…any other inmate with his record of good behavior would be back on the streets by now. Ang is just happy to toast her friends and be out of the hospital.

Drita D’avanzo’s daughter Gizelle is celebrating her birthday, and her mother surprises her with the puppy she’s been begging to get for the last few weeks. This brings the miniature dog count in their family to two. Meanwhile, Karen is meeting with Brittany Fogarty, the newbie who must regurgitate everything that’s ever said to her by anyone. Karen complains about the court’s vendetta against her father. While Brittany can somewhat relate, she has never felt like Karen, that she has to defend her own name due to her father’s actions. Karen then decides to try to warn Brittany (yet again) of the pitfalls of being friends with Drita. Brittany hopes that her sharing Drita’s latest beef with Karen wasn’t considered instigating. She didn’t realize the history between the pair, and she’s taking herself out of their issues. Oh really? Their conversation turns to Brittany’s distaste for Carla and Renee, but she agrees to give them one more chance for Karen…since their fathers have so much history together.

After her father’s release was denied, Karen is more determined than ever to prove that her father’s persona is more than that of a gangster. She’s decided to partner with a gallery to showcase the drawings he’s done while in jail. After meeting with a curator, Karen is excited to start planning her dad’s exhibit. Across town, Ang is attending the follow-up appointment with her lung surgeon. Ang’s lung hadn’t spread to her lymph nodes, so he is confident the surgery got it all. Her doctor wants to be extremely diligent in monitoring her health, but Ang is ready to celebrate the positive news. It’s so hard to watch knowing she’s gone.

Fast friends Drita and Brittany are meeting for lunch. Drita goes off on Karen and how she’s living in the past, and Brittany interrupts to tell Drita the same thing she said to Karen…she’s done being in the middle of their feud. Instead, the women turn their aggression towards Brittany’s upcoming Karen-planned meeting with Carla and Renee. The women bond further over the fact that being an ally of Drita means being an enemy of everyone else. At least we have Renee’s ballroom dancing for some lighthearted entertainment. Amirite? Renee’s partner believes she would be a great performer. Dancing with the Stars, are you listening?

On the night of Karen’s event for her dad’s artwork, she is over the moon about the turnout, and Carla, Ang, and Marissa Jade are there to show their encouragement. Ang gleefully announces to her friends that she is cancer-free, and her friends are thrilled. Karen is even more excited that despite their roller coaster, on-and-off relationship, Storm is at the gallery to support her. When Ang inquires about Brittany’s whereabouts, Karen responds that it’s a classy event, and she wasn’t going to bring Brittany into an environment where she feel confrontational with Carla. Carla can’t believe it…who does Brittany think she is starting shiz with her?

Fullscreen capture 332016 120408 AM

It’s time for the dreaded sit-down with Karen, Renee, Carla, and Brittany. Carla is still talking a big game about Brittany’s behavior, but Renee wants to give Brittany the opportunity to explain herself…until Brittany actually arrives. Renee grills Brittany about not being invited to her fashion show, and Carla begins yelling in an attempt to clear the air. When the women start yelling, Ang shows up in hopes of diffusing the situation. Brittany keeps accusing Carla of calling her a flip-flopper, but Ang admits she was the one that coined the phrase. As the women screech over one another, Ang tries to calm her friends. Instead, the women start shushing one another as Karen tries to blame the entire situation on Drita. The women lose it, with Renee screaming that she wouldn’t give two flips if Drita dropped dead. That kind of talk is even uglier in light of Ang’s death. Karen tries to play referee as Carla screams about Drita being Brittany’s teacher. A yelling Brittany decides to plan her exit while hurling insults at Carla. Karen follows, pointing fingers, and pretty soon it’s three against one, but no one attempts anything physical. It’s safe to say that despite their fathers’ relationship, the honeymoon is over for Karen and Brittany. Renee hates to say “I told you so,” but…

The next day, Brittany and Drita go on a walk so that Brittany can recap the volatile events of the night before. Now that there is nothing to salvage with Karen, Brittany feels the need to tell Drita about how Karen went off like a crazy person on Lee when they pair went shopping. Of course, this sends Drita into a whirlwind of swearing which ends in her promising that Karen is going to be dead. Shame on all of y’all for your foolish anger.

Little Women: LA Recap: Special Pizza Delivery

Little Women: LA recap

Elena-Gant-Preston-DrOffice-Little-Women-LA

The big pregnancy reveal is finally upon us! Cue extreme, shrieky jealousy in every non-pregnant cast member in 3…2…1… Since the news of Elena Gant and Preston expecting twins broke last week, it was only a matter of time before this season of Little Women: LA touched on the subject. And it looks like we’ll be finding out if Terra Jole and Tonya Banks can mend fences after their epic fight at Jasmine Sorge’s family restaurant last week. Christy McGinity Gibel inserts herself as peace maker – and pizza maker! – to try.

We begin with Tonya and Elena at the furniture store testing out new sofas. They discuss Jasmine’s party, which Elena says revealed Terra’s true feelings about them: i.e., that she still has some issues (to put it mildly). Terra was hurt that Tonya didn’t support her through baby Penny’s spinal decompression surgery, and Tonya admits she did drop the ball. Elena claims she reached out to Terra during that time, but Terra said she didn’t need any help. Both Elena and Tonya want to apologize to Terra, regardless. Which is the grown woman thing to do.

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Briana Renee and Jasmine are shopping for huge boas while they dish about their take on the party. Briana still feels weird about Christy, who she can’t seem to just apologize to already resolve things with. Briana wants to believe their friendship is salvageable, so she may take some baby steps to repair the damage. Maybe a dinner invite?

Over at Christy and Todd’s new house at which Todd will be found dead on the stairs, they’re arguing (what’s new!?) about where to put TVs…and Christy’s mother. In an effort to beat every last dust particle out of her tired old storyline, Christy once again harps on Todd’s weight. She also confesses she’d like to get the girls together for a pizza-making party, in part to reach out to Briana in the name of frenemy-ship.

Elena-Gant-PurpleTank-Little-Women-LA

Preston and Elena are recording a super cute surprise video message for Preston’s mom’s birthday. Elena is directing because she says, “I’m Stivin Shpillbirg!” She tells Preston she wants to send a special message asking Preston’s mom to help raise her grandchild because…she’s pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!! It takes Preston a moment to let the news wash over him. Then he picks up Elena and kisses her, overjoyed to hear the news. Awww!

Preston-BaseballCap-Little-Women-LA

Elena says she just took the at-home pregnancy test, so they’ll need to go to the doctor for confirmation. But as we know, it’s all good baby! She doesn’t want to tell any of the ladies her big news yet, and knows that her pregnancy will be high risk because she’s a little person. But their marriage is strong and they’re ready. Bring on the twinsies! (Which they do not know about yet….eeek!)

Attempt #302 at Operation Bury the Mattchet is underway as Briana and Christy hash things out over dinner. Christy just cannot let go of the fact that Briana has cut her family out of her life, but Briana defends that they have said such horrible things to her (about Matt, no doubt) that she just can’t deal with them. Briana also claims that her parents had the opportunity to meet Matt when they were picking up Briana’s daughter one day, but they wouldn’t even look at him. (#ICanRelate) Briana does admit she hasn’t been the best friend to Christy, though, which Christy takes as a kinda-sorta-maybe apology for now. They’re willing to keep working on their friendship.

Jasmine is over at Terra’s with a little monkey stuffie for baby Penny, who is doing well. Yay! Good news. Terra didn’t expect to LOSE HER F’n MIND at Jasmine’s restaurant, but her emotions boiled over – and then some. She tears up recalling how scared she was during Penny’s surgery, and how disappointed she is in both Tonya and Elena for not being there for her. Especially Tonya, whose own daughter went through the same surgery as a baby. Whaaa? #NotCoolLittleBoss! Jasmine vows to “drop everything” to be there for Terra whenever she needs her in the future. So, will they be the new besties on the block now? Interesting.

In an effort to play nice with her ex-hubby Leif, Briana and Matt meet him out for lunch. They discuss Leiana’s joint custody schedule, which is apparently a point of contention. The tension hangs thickly between them, so Matt decides this is the perfect opportunity to b*tch about Briana’s family to Leif. Because if anyone knows appropriate, it’s Matt. Leif says family is family, and they need to perhaps go to therapy to work through their totally juvenile issues. If for no one else’s sake, then do it for Leiana, people! Matt’s all, “He wouldn’t do it! I can see it all over his face!” But from where I sit, Leif’s face reads as follows: “Grow. The. Eff. Up.”

Matt’s Ubiquitous Blue Shirt has transformed magically into a Matt’s Casual Blue T-shirt, which he sports walking along the pier with Briana. They debrief from lunch with Leif, who is just another person on the loooooooong list of judgmental, unaccepting people in their teenage dream romance. #BieberFever! #LoveYourself! Talk turns to their wedding, which they want to be “dark” like them. Mmmmkay. Dark Blue Shirts, then? Briana doesn’t want to think about whether her family will be invited or not. Because denial is fun!

Hoping to bond over food, Christy and Terra prepare the fixins’ for Christy’s pizza-making party. Jasmine, Elena, and Tonya arrive to Terra’s cold shoulder. Elena wants to take Terra aside to fix things, remembering how Terra confided in Elena first when she was pregnant herself. Briana arrives, joining Elena and Tonya at one table while Christy, Terra, and Jasmine quarantine themselves at the other.

Each mini-army closes ranks until they finally all sit down at one big table while the pizzas bake. Tonya immediately, and sincerely, apologizes to Terra for not being supportive during Penny’s surgery. She promises it will NEVER happen again. Terra says she was disappointed and expected more. She tears up when Elena apologizes next, who admits she feels “so stupid” for not being a good friend to her. Terra says she loves the two of them like sisters and wants to feel that love in good times and bad.

In a shocking move, Elena extends an olive branch Jasmine’s way next, asking if they can meet one-on-one sometime soon to resolve their issues. Jasmine accepts. Thank GAWD. Maybe it’s the pregnancy glow, maybe it’s the need to lay down that heavy sword of resentment. But whatever it is, Elena is finally playing nice. And Jasmine’s grace in accepting her olive branch is also impressive. Good job, little mamas!

Cut to the dinner itself! Whoa, we’re already here? Okay. Let’s roll with it! Jasmine and Elena are barely seated before Jasmine apologizes again for not inviting Elena to her “mommy party.” Elena finally lets it go. They discuss babies next (uh oh!), and Elena admits she and Preston are “trying” right now. Even though they’re on better terms now, Elena is not about to spill the pregnancy beans to Jasmine first. They instead discuss Jasmine’s form of dwarfism, and how much Chris has loved her through all of her challenges. Jasmine encourages Elena that she and Preston will also find an even better world of love open up to them when they have a baby. (Or two babies!)

From real babies to fake babies, we travel across town to a baby CPR class. Christy, her mom, and Todd all practice their CPR skills on their requisite plastic baby. Todd’s doing a bang-up job, but Christy micromanages anyway. Because: she’s Christy. She reiterates her fear that Todd will die from his obesity, which Todd says he’s okay hearing over and over and over. But he fires back that Christy can stand to lose a few pounds herself. These words spark an argument about sleep apnea and death and – eventually – even being married to one another. All of these words are spoken/yelled by Christy, of course.

Christy cries that the adoption process is futile until Todd takes care of his weight issue. Her mom calls her bluff: “So what are you gonna do? Kick him out!?” Christy just stares with her mouth hanging open. No, she’s not going to kick him out. But she can’t be his wife and his mom. Christy’s mom astutely points out that, on some level, all wives are their husband’s moms. TRUE DAT, Christy’s mom! It’s up to Todd to make these changes in himself, though, just as it was up to Christy to get sober – for herself. Shame doesn’t create change, Christy. Dial that nagging back and see what happens, I say.

Elena-Gant-DrOffice-Little-Women-LA

We end at Elena’s OB/GYN, where her positive pregnancy test is confirmed. As they look at the ultrasound, their doctor tells them to “brace themselves” for some unexpected news though. Elena asks if everything is okay? I think we all know the answer to that!

TELL US: WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT ALL OF THE APOLOGIES? SINCERE OR SCRIPTED? WILL BRIANA AND MATT EVER FIND COMMON GROUND WITH HER FAMILY? WHO WILL ELENA TELL HER PREGNANCY NEWS TO FIRST?
