The alleged Mardi Gras brawl involving Shia LaBeouf is perhaps something that we should have seen coming. A few months ago, the actor starred in a movie titled The Rooster Prince.

While he was reportedly a consummate professional when the cameras were rolling, there were also apparently some troubling signs. One source says that his behavior was erratic at times, including intense mood swings. It reportedly reached a point where others wondered whether he might be facing personal problems. Last year, Shia broke up with British actress Mia Goth. The ex-couple have one child.

Shia LaBeouf is facing allegations of assault

It’s complicated to dissect why Shia was reportedly behaving erratically on set for The Rooster Prince. While some were concerned about his well-being, it’s possible he was just in character. According to TMZ, Shia’s character suffers from mental health issues, which might explain the odd behavior.

The tabloid outlet made it clear that no one they spoke with saw any behavior like the kind he allegedly displayed when a huge fight broke out in the Big Easy this week. Shia was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery following the brawl. Less than an hour after his court appearance on Wednesday, he was at a local pub in New Orleans chowing down on a burger and fries.

Shia only recently relocated to the Big Easy, purchasing a $1 million home following his separation from Mia. He has a lengthy history of legal troubles. In 2020, his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs sued him for alleged sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress. He was arrested in 2014 for supposed disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal trespass at Studio 54 in New York.

He previously had to undergo a divergent program after being criminally charged with petty theft and misdemeanour battery in 2020. His last movie to be released was a documentary called Slauson Rec. It details Shia’s experimental acting at the Slauson Recreation Center in South Central Los Angeles. It also discusses its euphoric beginning to its collapse, marked by Shia’s volatile outbursts and physical confrontations.

RuPaul’s Drag Race icon Jinkx Monsoon just pulled a hilarious trick on Michelle Visage, and it all revolved around a 1,000 lb crystal. When Jinkx sounded like she was in trouble, Michelle quickly jumped into mommy mode. You can call her mother, too.

To be clear: Jinkx didn’t really buy a 1000 lb crystal. Even for Jinkx, that sounds a little extreme. The whole thing was part of a prank call for a sit-down with Elle. Jinkx called Michelle on FaceTime and opened with a sentence that would make any mom’s stomach drop.

“I did something stupid,” Jinkx told Michelle.

Jinkx went on to describe her fictitious 1000 lb problem, claiming she dropped her recently purchased crystal. Michelle stayed calm, but she did have a few very valid questions. Her first one: “Why was the crystal 1,000 pounds?”

At that point, Jinkx went into full actress mode. She claimed that the crystal fell through her hardwood floors, potentially piercing her downstairs neighbor’s ceiling. It’s a story that would genuinely be upsetting if it actually happened.

“I’m not strong enough to lift a 1000 lb crystal that I shouldn’t have bought in the first place,” Jinkx said through fake tears.

That’s when Michelle completely transformed. The slightly terrifying judge we know from Drag Race shifted into a softer, reassuring voice offering the motherly support that everyone deserves.

“Okay, we don’t fret,” Michelle told her. “You bought it because there was a need to have it.”

“It’s okay. I don’t know how you’re going to move it, but we’re going to deal with that another day,” she continued. “But what we’re going to deal with right now is that everything you’ve done can be fixed. You’re human, and mistakes happen.”

It’s wonderful advice, all wasted on a fake crystal. When Jinkx broke the news that it was all a part of a prank, Michelle’s reaction was hilarious.

“You are such a d*ck,” Michelle replied.

After realizing Jinkx played her, Michelle vowed to get revenge. She’s from New Jersey, so you know she’s serious. Underneath the video, she left a comment promising that payback would be coming soon.

“Revenge is imminent,” Michelle teased.

Ex-Prince Andrew Arrested: Statements From King Charles, Virginia Giuffre’s Family & the Police

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. This comes after further review of the Jeffrey Epstein files, which were released by the Department of Justice last month.

The former prince was arrested on the morning of his 66th birthday. He is currently in custody, but the location where he is being held has not been revealed. “As part of the investigation, we have today arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office,” a statement from Thames Valley Police announced on February 19. “[We] are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk.”

“Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office,” the statement continued, before acknowledging “the significant public interest in this case.”

King Charles said “the law must take its course” after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest

Following his brother’s unprecedented arrest, King Charles has released a formal statement.

“I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office,” it began. “What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.

The statement continued: “In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”

“As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter,” the monarch added. “Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”

The King signed the statement: “Charles R.”

Virginia Giuffre’s family have spoken out

While Andrew’s arrest is in relation to misconduct in public office, Virginia Giuffre’s family have also shared a statement.

To recap, Virginia was one of convicted sex offender Epstein’s most prominent victims. She made several allegations against Andrew when he was still a prince and later took him to court. In 2022, the pair reached an out-of-court settlement in regard to these claims. She sadly took her own life last year at the age of 41. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.

“At last, today, our broken hearts have been lifted at the news that no one is above the law, not even royalty,” her family told CBS this morning.

“On behalf of our sister, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, we extend our gratitude to the UK’s Thames Valley Police for their investigation and the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor,” they added. “He was never a prince. For survivors everywhere, Virginia did this for you.”

New Nancy Guthrie Ransom Note Received by TMZ

Another demand is being made in Nancy Guthrie’s alleged kidnapping. TMZ claims to have gotten another ransom note. This one, according to the outlet, is more sophisticated than the previous ones, asking for payment in cryptocurrency. While they didn’t say how much they want this time, it’s said to be similar to a previous note, which asked for $6 million.

In addition, this new e-mail reportedly graphically outlines the consequences if their demands aren’t met. This was a slightly different message than the previous ones, which asked for a Bitcoin payment.

The search for Nancy Guthrie continues

We’re nearly a full three weeks into Nancy’s disappearance, and authorities are still trying to piece this all together. Along with the new ransom note, TMZ reports that the FBI has reached out to its counterparts in Mexico. Law enforcement sources have told them to help spread the word on this matter.

It’s possible Nancy and her alleged kidnapper may have gone across the border to Mexico. Authorities have checked Border Patrol cameras and electronic devices, but nothing has come from that. TMZ notes that there are still ways to evade police and get there, even if not caught on camera.

The new note lists a different crypto account than the one TMZ received. They say that they’ve forwarded that e-mail to the FBI but will not be more specific than that. Yesterday, the outlet made a declaration about receiving such notes. The company’s founder, Harvey Levin, said that they won’t publicize ransom notes. He says it would tip off the kidnapper.

In addition to a $100,000 reward offer, the FBI previously posted a description of the alleged kidnapper. They found a masked person on camera nearby Nancy’s home the day of her disappearance.

The FBI is issuing a warning that anyone putting out phony notes will go to federal prison for a long time. Unfortunately, they failed to generate any leads from the gun stores the FBI contacted. Authorities are reportedly working with retail outlets like Walmart to find who might have purchased some of the items the alleged kidnapper was wearing.

At the same time, Myers links the strain to the shared household with Prince William and Kate Middleton. “The planning and execution of Harry and Meghan’s wedding … pushed relations … to near breaking point,” he writes. He adds that it was across the household they shared with William and Catherine. So, the Prince William crisis is described as operational, not just personal.

The biography then follows what happened after the ceremony. “Harry and Meghan felt they were not being listened to,” the author notes. In 2019, they “decided to establish themselves away from Kensington Palace.” He adds, “The Queen had agreed to create a new household for them,” which was to be “stationed at Buckingham Palace”.

Meanwhile, the Sussexes moved from Nottingham Cottage to Frogmore Cottage. The home was renovated over two years, at a reported £2.4 million. Later, they repaid the renovation cost after public uproar. “While the separation … seemed a logical step … it was the first public sign of a crisis,” he writes. According to Myers, it could “envelop the wider institution.” The entire scenario turns the wedding crisis into a long-running Prince William crisis.

The Dreadful is an upcoming historical Gothic horror film, set during the War of the Roses in 15th-century England. In addition to Turner and Harington, the movie also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Laurence O’Fuarain, and Jonathan Howard. The film is set to arrive in theaters on February 20, 2026.
