As if the crew on Below Deck Season 11 haven’t struggled enough, things are about to go from bad to worse. Bravo just dropped the midseason trailer, and we’re about to get a slice of the Big Apple. Jill Zarin from The Real Housewives of New York City will make an appearance as a charter guest. Does it surprise you to learn that she’s bringing a ginormous list of demands? These yachties aren’t going to know what hit them.
In the Below Deck midseason trailer, the stakes are higher than ever before
There are nine episodes left this season, and the trailer shows that there is a whole lot of drama left to unpack. This crew has already navigated being short-staffed. They lost their bosun. They lost a stew. Now, in the second half of the season, they have to deal with being terrorized by Jill.
“This is a buffet meal,” Jill quips in the trailer. “This shouldn’t be a three-hour meal. Make it better.”
Everything Jill says has a certain sting to it. When she’s complaining, it’s amplified to the thousandth degree. In another clip, you hear her complaining to the interior crew about a cold burger. Suddenly, Scary Island doesn’t seem so scary.
Of course, Jill’s charter crew includes her boyfriend, Gary Brody, and daughter, Ally Shapiro. Jill doesn’t leave the house without them. In the trailer, we see Gary jumping in on the complaints as well. He seemingly slams the service, exclaiming, “This is crazy!”
Outside of Jill dragging the entire Below Deck cast, we also get a glimpse of the new stew that’s arriving to replace Cat Baugh. Plus, it looks like Captain Kerry Titheradge might have to fire another crew member. The trailer teases some tough feedback he delivers to one of the yachties.
“I’ve done everything I can for you to succeed. The issue is that you’re not thriving,” Kerry says. That can’t be good, but we will certainly be tuned in.
Below Deck Season 11 continues on Bravo, Mondays at 9/8c.
TELL US – WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE BELOW DECK SEASON 11 MIDSEASON TRAILER? ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING JILL AS A GUEST?
Sister Wives fans thought they might have been able to escape from watching Robyn Brown, but it seems that the wedding special focused on Kody Brown’s favorite wife’s two-faced ways. Robyn has been one of the most disliked TV personalities on TLC for ten years, thanks to her crying and manipulation. So when Kody’s wives started dropping like flies, it made sense to assume that Robyn and her charming husband would ride off into the sunset, never to be heard from again. But the mother of five still hasn’t learned to keep some of her opinions to herself.
TLC Kept Cameras Rolling
This isn’t TLC’s first rodeo when it comes to making sure they catch all the drama between Robyn and the rest of the polygamous family. More than once during Season 18, the camera caught Robyn making herself look bad. And whether she knew it or not, these moments have been engrained into viewers’ minds. During the early years, it felt like Robyn and Kody were often granted immunity from the editing gods as the cutting room floor spliced and diced her less savory moments. However, Season 18 showed that TLC was no longer willing to play that game.
During one of the family’s last conversations, Robyn walked away from Kody and Meri Brown in hopes of being the center of attention. The scene was painful as it became clear she didn’t want Kody and his first wife to be talking. The move was so transparent that it became comical. Instead of having Robyn’s confession fade into a scene of whimpers, Robyn looks extremely foolish and calculating. I mean, Meri was the one losing her marriage, but no, you go and make this about you, Robyn.
Robyn Is Miserable
Every Sister Wives season has shown Robyn hysterical as the season ended, praying her polygamous family stays together. But this last season just highlighted how miserable the mother of five truly is, and you know what they say: misery loves company. Nothing the first three wives could do was ever good enough for Robyn and her dream picture.
It didn’t go unnoticed that Robyn also didn’t enjoy being on screen or filming inside her house. Frankly, if she didn’t want to be on screen, she shouldn’t be getting a fat paycheck. Season 18 showed just how much Robyn was riding the coattails of the others and getting more out of the situation. The revelation blew fans’ minds since she isn’t the one opening her home to the crew or showing any vulnerability.
Robyn Shut Up Kody
Perhaps the most telling sign was how Robyn managed to cut off Kody from speaking about his feelings about Christine on her wedding day. Let’s be honest; it wasn’t going to be positive, but why else have viewers stuck it out for so long? It was to see the drama that is Kody losing his mind. It is obvious the two are not happy with the state of the family, and the theory was proven when Robyn stopped Kody short of calling out Christine literally by covering his mouth. While with any normal couple, the move would have been generous, Robyn once again came across as controlling.
Kody tried to say, “She made the accusation that I had –” Robyn stopped him in his tracks, saying, “Aren’t we just so happy for them?” The whole scene gave me the ick. But that is what Robyn does best. Kody tried to pipe up again, but Robyn kissed him, noting, “We’re just so happy for them, right? That’s what we want.” She is a leech who latched herself onto a married man three times over and then seemingly ruined the family.
Robyn never learned to normalize her emotions, and instead of befriending the rest of the family, she thought gaslighting them would be appropriate. Now, she might only have herself to blame.

Welcome back for our recap of The Valley Episode 2: “Tit for Tat.” Last week’s episode kicked off the latest Bravo spinoff with a bang, introducing some new, smiling faces. However, this week, those happy faces have turned into frowns, especially after Nia witnessed her husband being pantsed by Jax. Nia is still livid this week about the practical joke, but there is trouble elsewhere, too. Jesse gets himself into hot water after an altercation with Kristen and Luke. And Jax’s guy’s night comes to a screeching halt after he invites someone who is meant to catch Luke off guard.
Doute disaster
At the start of The Valley Episode 2, Jax and Kristen decide to meet up for a lady’s lunch situation after the father of one took it upon himself to blast Kristen for wanting to have a child with Luke. There is a high chance The Smokehouse Grill would go up in flames with these two prominent personalities, but it seems that first snacks are in order.
I don’t want to judge Jax’s qualifications when it comes to being a friend, but wouldn’t you think that a guy who has been friends with Kristen for 16 years would remember that she is a vegetarian?
But, I will say, Jax jumped right into the apology, claiming he didn’t mean to “corner” her at Janet’s birthday. For those who don’t recall, Jax was surprised that Kristen was even thinking of letting Luke impregnate her. Forget that it was none of his business; he made it his business, along with making everyone at the party uncomfortable.
Frankly, Kristen is saying what I think most women in the country are thinking, “Why are my guy friends saying, ‘I don’t really trust your decision about your own life, Kristen.'”
Kristen is paying a price
Yes, Kristen made mistakes with her ex, Alex. She sold her house and moved in with him, and they broke up several times before he kicked her out. But life happens, and last time I checked, Jax was not the poster child for great life decisions.
But things are looking up for Kristen, who claims that her and Luke’s communication is “stupid impeccable,” whatever that means. Jax makes it clear he doesn’t care how many kids Kristen wants; he just says that she and her new beau are not on the same page.
Honestly, I am blown away at this man’s audacity in claiming he knows which relationships in his friend group are thriving and which are not. According to the supposed #1 guy in the group, he is “pretty good at spotting a Kristen Doute disaster. I can spot it a mile away.”
Guys, I’m dead. My jaw is on the floor, and again, I am thanking my lucky stars that Jax is back on my small screen. No matter how much projection he indulges in.
Luke is forever
I will say Kristen might not have her finger on the pulse. She claimed that Luke would definitely be moving to LA, and she would be signing her own lease.
Jax went on to say he’s “seen a lot of guys like look come in and out of her life, and they leave, and they need therapy.” The former T-shirt entrepreneur wants her friends to treat Luke better because he isn’t going anywhere.
Kristen swears Luke is going to be forever, which means we only have one choice; to grab the popcorn and sit back.
Trouble in paradise
It is clear Michelle and Jesse are not okay even during a West Hollywood park day with their daughter. The two were extremely passive-aggressive about teaching their daughter to ride her bike. This whole scene gave the impression that the two love to fight, and this round is about their parenting styles.
I will say, Michelle gets the jabs in. My favorite had to be that she wasn’t aware Jesse had no patience. Sadly, Jesse hit the nail on the head, revealing in his confessional, “I’ve changed into somebody she doesn’t want.”
Also, a huge red flag for me is that Jesse doesn’t remember nipple-gate. After four minutes of hockey, the boys talk about how Jesse grabbed Kristen’s nipple at the birthday party. Instead of owning up, Jesse doubles down, saying a “nipple twister doesn’t seem like my style.” Really? It seems very much like your thing, Jesse.
Alex cometh
As Kristen said earlier in the episode, “Jax stumbled into a saint who is willing to deal with his bullsh*t. God bless Brittany.” And that couldn’t fit Jax more, especially when it comes to the explanation of boy’s night.
Luke finally found his backbone and decided to stand up to Jax after it became apparent he had invited Kristen’s ex to the bowling night. Is Jax the Don of the group? Because it sure feels like it! He tells Luke that he has “great motivation on this. I want you to be a part of the group.” Next thing we know, Luke will have to kiss his ring.
After Jax clarifies that he wants Luke and Alex to be friends, the Colorado native refutes the idea and states his case. Luke is being pretty great as he stands up for Kristen, yelling, “I have her back 100%.” Luke also notes that Kristen is still very triggered by her past relationship.
Even though Luke is new, he hits the nail on the head, explaining, “Jax knows her triggers. I don’t think this is something friends do to friends.” You’re right, Luke. Inviting a friend’s ex is not what a true comrade does.
Welcome back to the Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 9 recap. Last time, Sandoval tried to apologize to Katie, and Ariana attended the same function as Sandoval. This week’s episode, titled “Kiss Kiss, Revenge Bang” features Schwartz dishing to Lala about a past hookup. Here’s everything that you need to know about Pump Rules, Season 11, Episode 9!
Sandoval wants the house
Billie Lee visited Sandoval as Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 9 got underway. She is bringing her friend, Tii, to Hotel Ziggy to see James DJ. Tii and Sandoval met at his pool party.
Sandoval jokingly called Ariana his “roommate.” Billie pointed out that living with your ex-girlfriend is worse than bunking with your mother. Ouch!
In his confessional, Sandoval explained that a couple of months ago, his attorneys sent a letter of intent to Ariana. Sandoval wanted to buy her out of the house, and “for top market value.” He was surprised that he hadn’t heard back from her.
Meanwhile, Ariana was in her room. She called Ann Maddox, Sandoval’s then-assistant because she wanted to find her own assistant.
Much to Ariana’s surprise, Ann would like to be considered for the job. “Ann is just so sweet and she deserves so much more than putting up with my ex-boyfriend,” Ariana said. She questioned whether she was the answer to Ann’s prayers, but she hoped that someone would rescue her.
Kiss and tell
Lala and Schwartz met up at a juice bar. Lala informed Schwartz that when she feels “awkward” she talks about her vagina, and Schwartz’s face lit up. Just like a kid at Christmas!
Schwartz pointed out that everyone in this friend group has cheated. “I’ve cheated. I was a make-out slut. I made out with Scheana like 12 years ago in Vegas,” Schwartz said. “No one even knows that.”
The look of shock on Lala’s face was priceless. You could see Lala trying to put the timeline together. She asked when this happened. According to Schwartz, he and Katie were dating, “but it was a rocky moment.” That’s right, Schwartz was embracing this “summer of forgiveness” to help lessen Sandoval’s sins. That is … an interesting choice.
Lala was feeling like this was sus because she was besties with Scheana. So, why would Scheana never have mentioned playing tonsil hockey with Schwartz? Then, Schwartz added that he didn’t know if he ever told Katie.
So, when Katie came over to visit Lala, she told her about Schwartz and Scheana. In her confessional, Katie said what we are all thinking. “What the actual f*ck?” she said. “Are you kidding me?” Back in 2013, Schwartz admitted that he made out with one of Scheana’s friends in Vegas. But was it Scheana?
Katie asked if Lala talked to Scheana. Lala knew if she talked to Scheana first, then she would have time to “make this a pretty picture.” The ladies weren’t happy because the duo kept this secret under wraps for years.
Jo Wenberg says she’s been bullied
Brock and Scheana arrived at Hotel Ziggy right after Schwartz and Jo Wenberg. Then Sandoval and Kyle Chan rolled up. Ariana strolled in, looking hot in a skin-tight dress.
“Ariana looks great,” Sandoval observed from a safe distance. Then he told Brock that he wanted to talk to Ariana about the house. Meanwhile, Schwartz and Jo said hello to James at his turntables. James may have been happy to see Jo, but Scheana wasn’t.
“Right now, I really don’t have a reason to like Jo,” Scheana said in her confessional. “She literally drove with [Rachel Leviss] to go meet the Toms in Big Bear and then left [Rachel] with Sandoval in Big Bear,” Scheana said. “Like, come on, b*tch. You knew.”
Scheana then became obsessed with Jo removing her hat. She wanted Jo’s braids to show. “I’m gonna bully you. Take the f*cking hat off!” Scheana exclaimed. In her confessional, Jo felt uncomfortable about Scheana’s actions. Jo said her hat was “comfortable.”
The fact that it was a TomTom hat didn’t help. “I’ve gotten a lot of hate from the girls. It’s a hundred percent bullying and … it’s not fun,” Jo said in her confessional. “It’s horrible.”
Tears are falling
Katie and Lala hit the club next. Sandoval trotted over to see Billie and Tii. Jo was with them. The rest of the Pump Rules ladies were shooting the group dirty looks.
This past year, the ladies made some upsetting allegations about Jo. Katie wrote on social media, “Jo is spooky. Her energy is on par with a crackhead.” Jo added in her confessional, “That is hurtful and harmful to anyone who has ADD.”
Jo knew that Lala, Scheana, Ariana, Ally, and Katie were talking about her. Ally tried to stand up for Jo, saying that she was coming with a peaceful energy. But Katie shot that notion down.
Ariana was the next to slam Jo as “a full-blown mean girl bully” who didn’t “give a flying f*ck about spending Thanksgiving with me in my home while knowing that our mutual friend was f*cking my boyfriend in my house.” Jo walked by and remarked that she felt uncomfortable, which gave Katie a win. Finally, Jo started to cry and wanted to leave.
Scheana comes clean
Meanwhile, Lala and Katie filled Ariana in on Schwartz’s story about locking lips with Scheana. Ariana admitted that she made out with Scheana in Vegas. But Schwartz and Scheana were joking about it during the holidays, which rubbed the trio the wrong way.
Sandoval picked this moment to approach Ariana. He asked if she received the letter. She answered that her lawyer had it and looked away. Sandoval continued to ramble on while she ignored him. Ariana was channeling an iceberg.
Afterward, Scheana, who had been drinking, sat down for a chat with Katie. Katie told Scheana what Schwartz said about kissing her.
“What happened was, me and Ariana were there with my mom and my sister for her cheer competition in like f*cking high school. And Schwartz pulls me in the corner and kisses me,” Scheana explained. When Katie asked when this happened, Scheana said she was newly engaged to Mike Shay. So that dates this make-out sesh to 2013.
Still, Scheana denied it was a make-out. But she copped to making out with Ariana. Pretty soon I’m going to need charts and graphs to keep up with this group.
“I wanted to pretend like this never happened,” Scheana said. She never told a soul. Katie explained that she trusted Scheana, so why wouldn’t she ever tell her? But Scheana countered that she wanted the couple to work out. It blows Katie’s mind that her bridesmaid kept a secret like this from her. How can she continue to trust Scheana?
Sandoval was careless
Katie and Ariana went to Something About Her, where Penny, their chef consultant, was prepping. While permits are holding up the shop’s opening, they have forged ahead with their sandwich menu.
The group, minus Sandoval, arrived for a tasting. Lala was bored since she already did this last summer. But when Schwartz advocated for a manly sandwich, James quipped, “We all know Tom likes a sloppy Jo, right?” Oof.
The gang then headed to SUR. Lala told Ariana that she was at her house and that she had a deep conversation with Sandoval. Ariana wasn’t buying it, and she had other problems on her mind.
“The reason I wasn’t at my house was because I was at the emergency vet because he was so insanely irresponsible with my dog, she had to have an endoscopy,” Ariana stated. She explained that Sandoval shut Mya in Ariana’s room with her take-out from the night before. She ate wooden skewers, and after all the testing, the bill was $6,000. Mya will be okay, but this wasn’t the first time he was careless with Ariana’s dogs.
In Sandoval’s version of events, he had to close some vents in the main bedroom because of an air conditioning problem. The door was somehow left open, and their dog, Mya, “ate some weird stuff.” Of course, Ariana was furious. But Sandoval believed it was an accident. I’m with Ariana, dude. Not cool, no matter how it happened.
Brock spills a secret
Brock has some news for Schwartz. Remember Max Boyens? He was the former manager at TomTom and Schwartz’s good friend. Well, Max and Katie apparently hooked up. Schwartz called it “a revenge bang.”
Then Sandoval and Tii stopped by after bowling. When Sandoval stepped away, Scheana and Ariana approached the bar. Brock introduced them, and Ariana asked Tii’s age. Upon hearing that she was 25, Ariana responded, “That makes sense.” Then Ariana advised Tii, “Don’t waste your time with a 41-year-old narcissist.”
Then Scheana dragged Brock for telling Schwartz about Katie and Max. Back at the table, Brock informed Katie that he told Schwartz.
Katie seemed confused, then said that Max came over and they hung out. But Scheana checked Max’s location the next morning, and he was still at Katie’s house. Everyone was floored that Katie would sleep with Schwartz’s best buddy. But did she, or didn’t she?
You can catch Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
