Sheree Whitfield Talks Chateau Sheree; Kandi Burruss Understands Todd’s Frustrations With Phaedra
Sheree Whitfield and Kandi Burruss are reflecting on the final episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. Sheree talks about the status of Chateau Sheree and also her friendship status with NeNe Leakes. Kandi dishes on the short-lived relief of escaping the couch to go pump.
Sheree didn’t win the mansion completion race with Kenya Moore, who should be moved into Moore Manor by now, but Sheree maintains that she’s moving in any day now. “I have not moved into Chateau Sheree yet, but SOON. VERY SOON! I’m a perfectionist and I just want it to be perfect for me and my family, so I’ve made so many changes aesthetically. However I cannot wait to share the end results to all of my blood, sweat, and tears I’ve put into this project…very, very, very soon!”
On keeping in touch with NeNe Leakes since they rekindled their friendship, she shared, “NeNe and I have kept in touch, and we have even hung out a few times since reuniting. NeNe is always a lot of fun and I’m happy to report that so far things are going well!” Sheree also said she was glad that viewers had a chance to see the fun side of her and Bob this season.
As for Kandi’s reunion experience, she was grateful for the small break from the couch torture while she went to pump. It’s good to be breastfeeding! “Of course I was happy! Anything to get out of debating with the women all day long.”
On watching Todd and Phaedra arguing, “You never want your husband to argue with any woman, but I understood his frustration. I’m glad it is over with and we don’t have to talk about it anymore.” Kandi says she went home and straight to bed after the reunion taping. I don’t blame her a bit!

American Idol Series Finale; Simon, Paula, And Randy Return; Trent Harmon Wins – Photos
American Idol has come to an end… for now… and I, for one, am sad. Last night, Trent Harmon was named the Season 15 winner, and the “bookend” to Kelly Clarkson. Today, both Trent and La’Porsha Renae signed major record deals, however. Both well deserved.
As an American Idol super fan (and I’m not ashamed to admit it), I loved every minute of the finale, though I did feel a little bad for this season’s finalists, who were reduced to singing backup and rolling a gift for Ryan Seacrest onto the stage. Instead of the usual finalist & artist pairings, we were treated to non-stop performances by past American Idol contestants, including Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and more. Sadly, a very pregnant Kelly wasn’t able to attend, but she did pre-tape a medley of her greatest hits, ending with an acapella “A Moment Like This.”
Notably missing (to me anyway) were Adam Lambert, Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, Crystal Bowersox, and a mention of late Michael Johns. But, still, it was a great two hours of television. That I may or may not have watched twice already.

The Gloves Are Off In New Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Clip
Things get brutal right out of the gate in the first installment of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion!
In a newly released clip we see Lisa Rinna putting Lisa Vanderpump on blast, claiming that LVP wanted Lisa R to bring up Munchausen for fear there would be no storyline this season if she didn’t. Vanderpump tries to shut her down with a denial, but Rinna has brought along Andy’s favorite reunion prop: evidence!
While the Lisas battle it out, a wounded-looking Yolanda Foster sits and looks on as the women battle back and forth over what was said. She tearfully gets up and rushes off the stage, with Erika running after her a minute later.

Erika Jayne Releases Sneak Peek Of Her Latest Music Video “How Many”
Erika Jayne is musically inspired by her first season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and we’re getting our first sneak peek of that inspiration.
Erika just released a teaser for her upcoming music video for the song “How Many.” Erika’s lyrics seem to mirror her attitude about the entire season: “How many fu**s do I give? None, not one, zero, zero, zero, done.” There’s just something about the song, the costumes and the hair, it gives me a Gwen Stefani and Paris Hilton’s older auntie gone wild sort of vibe. Take a peek and tell us what you think of Erika’s newest masterpiece. Hopefully Bethenny weighs in, too.
Before you listen, I would clear the area of children or co-works or anyone who’s easily offended. There are a lot of F-bomb in the 30 second clip.

New RHONY Housewife Jules Wainstein Thinks Bethenny Frankel Is Trying To Label Her Too Quickly
It may be too soon to tell what sort of fit Jules Wainstein will be for The Real Housewives of New York. After all, she’s only been partially broken in by Bethenny Frankel and Dorinda Medley at their couples’ brunch. But what a brunch it was! Admitting she was “excited to meet the infamous Bethenny,” Jules’ first encounter with the Skinnygirl mogul left her a bit bruised – but not beaten.
Jules reveals, “As you can imagine, I’m filled with excitement, worry, bewilderment and a real sense of curiosity to how this is all going to work out. Filming this has been a real experience. It’s been a time for me to explore new things, friends, embrace challenges and reflect on life. Let the journey begin…”

Jules claims she’s excited to join this group of “wonderful” women, adding, “Dorinda introduced me to the group, but I’ve also known Ramona [Singer] for a few years. It’s true I also met Bethenny at her Cinco de Mayo party, which by the way, I’d like to give a shout out to all my ‘Upper East Side Jewishy’ girlfriends! I don’t know what that looks like, but it probably looks like a Chanel bag, so let’s take that as a compliment ladies, LOL.”
Moving on to her first brush with Bethenny, Jules admits in her blog, “I was excited to meet the infamous Bethenny. We have similar friends, kids the same age, and I thought out of this group of girls we had the most in common. I’m not gonna lie, I was kind of caught off guard watching the brunch at Catch, because usually when I meet someone for the first time I like to get to know them. It seems like Bethenny likes to figure out which label fits best…not just with me but clearly with Dorinda, as well, and I feel this may be a reoccurring theme. Anyways, if I remind her of her mother and she is anything like my mom–gorgeous, smart and put together–I’ll take it!”
(Uh-oh. Perhaps the clearly clueless Jules is not quite aware of Bethenny’s deeply troubled relationship with her mother, but something tells me she’ll find out that the comparison to B’s mom is not as complimentary as she might have once hoped!)

Jules goes on to defend her friends Dorinda and John, who she claims, “get a lot of flack. I feel that if my friends are happy, I’m happy for them. At the end of the day it’s none of my business, but Dorinda is a grown woman, and if she’s happy and having fun, then she deserves to be. John is a sensitive guy. We should all be so lucky to celebrate our relationships monthly. The only reminder I get is the headache Michael gives me for my credit card bill! Haha oopsies…” Oh, lord. Oopsies!? <sigh>
Despite not showcasing the perfect home life during her family’s debut scene (and let’s get real, who among us wants to put our kids on camera and see how that mess shakes out? Yikes!), Jules says she’s happy with her introduction to viewers. She reflects, “Parenting is challenging, and you gotta have some humor while doing it. It’s tough, but I enjoy every moment being with my children and hope to be the best mom I can be. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.”
Leaving us with parting words about the season ahead, Jules teases, “I have to say this season is really gonna knock your socks off! Even I’m excited to sit and watch, and I already know what happens!”

Gizelle Bryant Calls Out Katie Rost On Her “7th Grade Playground Behavior”
DC’s cherry blossoms are past their peak as the feud between Gizelle Bryant and Katie Rost roars on, with Gizelle taking to her blog this week to deride Katie’s most recent antics. Calling Katie juvenile doesn’t seem nearly as bad as calling her an undercover drug addict, so maybe Gizelle’s toned it down a bit, actually! One thing seems clear: these two Real Housewives of Potomac castmates will be coming with guns blazing at one another for the reunion.
Katie is not – nor may ever be – on Gizelle’s short list of acceptable humans. However, in an effort to smooth things over, Gizelle did invite Katie to her “Come to Jesus” lunch. But we all saw how that turned out! Gizelle describes her lunch as a place where “everyone comes to the table in the spirit of ‘What Would Jesus Do.’ Let’s all be the bigger person, let’s agree to disagree, let’s hold hands and sing, ‘Let There be Peace on Earth.’ So regardless of your race or religion, come to the lunch and act like you have some home training.”

“I loved seeing Andrew and Katie act like two-year-olds when I called Katie as they were driving. Yep, I call that Tuesday,” snarks Gizelle about the couples’ reaction to her lunch invitation.
But it was Karen Huger who really brought Gizelle’s luncheon down to the toddler level when she threw an absolute hissy fit about Ashley Darby wanting to “get to know” her daughter, Rayvin. In reaction to Karen’s disgusting low brow comments toward Ashley, Gizelle jokes, “CHIIIIILLLLE!!! That Mrs. Karen says some things outta her mouth that no one is EVER ready for. When Karen told Ashley that Michael needs to ejaculate so that Ashley could procreate, I couldn’t breathe.”
“I felt like I needed a flashing yellow light and a sign that reads, CAUTION, CAUTION, the UNNECESSARY AND THE UNBELIEVABLE is about to be spread throughout the atmosphere,” continues Gizelle. “I thought I was going to fall out of my chair or choke on my bread, either one wasn’t good. However, I must admit, it might have been the funniest thing that I have heard in a looooong time…sorry, Ashley.”

Although she can laugh off the ridiculousness that is Karen Huger, Gizelle seems to have a harder time letting Katie’s words slide. It was Katie, remember, who told Gizelle point blank: “You’re a stupid woman who says stupid things.”
Gizelle reflects in her blog, “It is obvious that Katie and I are getting to know each other, and our process has been a little bumpy to say the least. As I get to know her better it seems that if her back is up against the wall and she is confronted with an upsetting topic (your fiancé is enjoying another man fondling his butt), she reverts back to 7th grade playground behavior. ‘You’re stupid, you’re stupid’…nope not how I discuss anything. I use adult words, concepts and relate to thought provoking discussions.”
Gizelle offers her final advice to the group, and more pointedly, to those in the group who appear “borderline bonkers” – not naming any names, of course!
“I think more could have and should have been said by many of us but my mother has always told me if you don’t have anything nice to say then say nothing. While my sister has taught me that sometimes you just let people talk so that you can assess just how clueless, irrational, and borderline bonkers they really are.”

Bethenny Frankel Teases What’s To Come On This Season Of Real Housewives Of New York
I’m not going to lie, I am super excited about the new season of Real Housewives of New York. It was wavering there for a moment, and to be honest, that leg toss a few seasons back was like a mic drop for me. I was out. However, Ramona Singer’s crazy eyes, Luann DeLesseps‘ “singing” (come on, you know that deserves quotations), Carole Radziwill’s frankness, Bethenny Frankel’s ego, and Sonja Morgan’s sexy “J” lured me back into the mix.
Not shockingly, the Bravo franchise that at one time seemed beneath Skinnygirl maven Bethenny is now regaling in her return. She makes the show great. And you don’t have to trust me on that one…she’s the one who thinks it! I kid, I kid. Bethenny may be the expert on everything, but it’s the ladies’ special blend of drama that makes the show fun to watch.

Discussing the season premiere in her blog, Bethenny reminisces, “OMG this is the 8th season of RHONY. I really remember not knowing if this show would even succeed. There was this relatively unknown show RHOC and ours was supposed to be called Manhattan Moms. I may not know it all, because I thought making us a Housewives extension sounded terrible and scared me. Well, no matter what we were, it worked and here we are about to celebrate a decade-old anniversary of the franchise.”
It must be noted that at least Bravo is consistent in not really caring whether one fits the criteria of the show’s title. Bethenny wasn’t a housewife when the show began, and she wasn’t yet a mother either but she was still cast in Manhattan Moms. Kudos to not caring, Andy Cohen! Recalling that first season, Bethenny continues, “Unlike many of the cities’ shows, a lot of us OGs, aka original gangsters, are still here: Luann, myself and Ramona are 3/5 of the maiden voyage and a good trio at that.”
Moving on to the present, Bethenny shares, “Ramona is single and a new woman, and we have a real friendship. I am a different person than where I started, and I respect our journey together. It’s adorable Ramona comparing her divorce to mine–like I walked into the voting both and voted for ‘the worst divorce of the decade.’ That’s like comparing a drunk college guy at a bachelor party to Charlie Sheen on New Year’s Eve. She knows better of it now.” Enter Kanye West, “Yo Turtle Time, I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Bethenny has one of the worst divorces of all time. One of the worst divorces of all time!”
As for the Countess, Bethenny teases, “Luann and I have had an interesting road. This season will be rocky for many of us, but the fact remains that Luann and I have been on that train since day one, and I have and will always have a special place in my heart for her, for Ramona and that experience. But holy sh–balls, this is our best season ever, and not without injury.”
Bethenny reveals, “Ramona stays clean, but some of us may need to enter the witness protection program. Don’t come and find me. Sonja is back and she is the same Sonja with some new surprises. There is a lot going on with her, but you will find that she will evolve this season in a very interesting way. Perhaps I contribute to that evolution. Dorinda [Medley] is also back, and she is a salty broad. Dorinda is a throwback, which she embraces. I think she has very thick skin, and the second season is when that really becomes valuable. The gild is off the lily.”
Dishing on her relationship with Carole, Bethenny asserts, “Carole and I are friends. We spend a decent amount of time off camera. We are not attached at the hip. I am not afraid to call her out when I feel something, and I don’t blindly defend her. She is her own woman, she is in a very real relationship, and she has come with many surprises.”
Speaking of surprises, it’s not one to learn that Bethenny has her issues with the newbie. She writes, “Jules [Wainstein] is the new girl. She and I have our own journey. She gets slightly dirty, but overall she is pretty much out of the fray. I had met her briefly before. Her husband Michael and I have similar personalities and senses of humor, so I do enjoy him. As far as Jules’ philosophy on parenting, I respectfully disagree with bribery being the best tactic to get what you want and that positive reinforcement does not work,” adding, “I don’t negotiate with terrorists, and I have found that no really meaning no and sticking to your guns works, positive reinforcement affects their future actions. There is no perfect parent nor no perfect child. That’s just one mother’s perspective.”
One “perfect” mother is what she really wanted to write.

Karen Huger Blames Ashley Darby’s Lack Of Boundaries On Her Not Being A Parent
Listen up, ye unwashed hordes! The Grand Dame, Mrs. Black Bill Gates Karen Huger, has a lesson for us all, and it does not involve etiquette! It does involve Karen putting on her Judgy McJudgenstein farm overalls to school Ashley Darby once again on the ways of a Proper Potomac Lady.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star claims that Ashley doesn’t have manners or boundaries due to her lack of…um, children? After her explosive comments at Gizelle Bryant’s luncheon, Karen continues to defend her protectiveness over daughter Rayvin, who left for college this season. About Rayvin, Karen shares, “Our mother/daughter bond is stronger than ever. I’m very proud of her.”

Though she appreciated the “Come to Jesus” lunch Gizelle put together, Karen admits, “My emotions were very raw. I was very much still in my mama bear mode concerning Ashley.” Indeed, mama grizzly came for Ashley – Revenant style! – across that flimsy bistro table.
Karen’s anger began at her gala launch, where Ashley told the other women that Karen didn’t want any of them hanging out with her daughter Rayvin due to them acting as a “bad influence” on her. Hearing this gossip, Karen flipped out. She claims only Ashley was on the forbidden list when it came to exactly who was persona non grata with Rayvin!
But why did Karen have to attack Ashley’s non-parental status at lunch with such ferocity? Karen lamely plays it off: “Ashley shared with [u]s all, her desire to have her own child; she very much wants to be a mom. I wish that for her as well. I feel that once she holds her own child in her arms she will better understand my boundaries/perspectives concerning parenting and my desire to protect my child.”
Well, that sentiment was put a lot differently at Gizelle’s lunch disaster than in this blog, but okay Mrs. Huger! We’ll let that slide. Just this once.
Now the question remains, will Ashley and Karen square off again at the reunion? Karen teases in her blog, “I had not seen nor spoken with Ashley going into the reunion and emotions on both sides were still very high. I walked away from the luncheon feeling we had made progress but there was still work to be done.”
