LeeAnne Locken Engagement Coming Soon – Says Rich Already Bought An Engagement Ring

Real Housewives of Dallas star LeeAnn Locken was one of Andy’s guests tonight on Watch What Happens Live, which wasn’t quite so live since he was at the MET gala and all…  LeeAnne shocked us all with NICE things to say about co-star Brandi Redmond and she also revealed that her longtime boyfriend Rich already bought an engagement ring…

Andy comments that a lot of viewers were shocked at the amount of pink blush LeeAnne had on at the Mad Hatter party, he asks what was up with that. LeeAnne chalks it up to the long day of filming and reapplying. (but doesn’t explain why it’s been that bright in nearly every episode since)  I will say that on tonight’s episode of WWHL her makeup is MUCH better.

Is LeeAnne jealous of Cary Deuber’s career? “I think jealousy is an ignorant person’s argument, so no.”

Andy plays a few clips of LeeAnne’s co-stars bad mouthing her and asks if it bugs her. “No, not from that group of girls. Nothing that’s unexpected. Are my eggs dry? I wish, I’d love not to have a period every month, but you know..”

A caller asks LeeAnne what she thinks of people who say the only reason she does charity events is because she can’t put up the big bucks. “I’m by no means poor. I spend plenty of money on charities. In fact, I can tell you in one month I’ve dropped over $10,000. I spend plenty of money on charity. I give my time, I give my talents and I give my treasures. “

When does she think Rich will propose? Does she think he’s really committed to their relationship? “My boyfriend and I have been together for over seven years, we live together, we own a home together, we’ve been living in the same house together for over two years. I know he already has a ring. You know, I clean the house myself, so..” She adds that he’s very romantic so he’s waiting for that moment. “He wants to surprise me.” Andy throws a little shade, “it’s been EIGHT years..”

A caller asks if LeeAnne if she sees herself getting closer to Brandi or is the poop humor too much of a turn-off? “The poop humor only bothers me when we’re in a charity event.Honestly, I think if you watch the show we’re going to have a few more confrontations and I think you’re gonna see some ups and downs. In the end I think Brandi is such a compassionate person and she has such a forgiving heart. I would love to become closer with her. She really is a sweet girl, she just has people giving her wrong information.  Stephanie.”

Rapid fire carnival questions for LeeAnne:

Is calling someone a carny considered a slur?  “Carnies can call each other carnies but normal people shouldn’t.”

Photos – Met Gala Fashion – Andy Cohen, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, And More

The Costume Institute gala 2016 is just getting underway and so far the MET gala fashion has been a big snore for the most part. Andy Cohen was looking dapper as Sarah Jessica Parker’s date. She initially wasn’t going to attend but he was thrilled when she got inspired and changed her mind.

Kanye West dressed in his Monday through Sunday uniform: torn jeans and a denim jacket. He decided to jazzy it up with some bedazzling, though, so there’s that. And he put in his blue contacts because he’s edgy like that. Kim Kardashian wore silver – and I’ll admit that it’s better than what I envisioned, albeit pretty boring. Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner both wore Balmain, of course.

Yolanda Foster’s daughter were in attendance, too. Bella Hadid stole the show – she was stunning in all black. Gigi Hadid brought along her former boybander beau – his jacket was fun and got into the spirit of the theme without being douchey – we’re looking at you, Kanye.

Brandi Redmond Defends Strip Club Shenanigans And Says God Is Her “GPS”

Brandi Redmond may have gotten wild at a strip club on last week’s Real Housewives Of Dallas, but she wants you know to know Jesus was along for the ride and God was steering the wheel. 

“…I am not here to judge others but to give grace on situations, relationships and know that through my relationship with God it has allowed me to be who I am,” begins Brandi. “Who am I? I am a free spirit that is very light hearted and loves life to the fullest.”

Brandi’s cup of Jesus juice definitely runneth over at La Bare, the male strip club she went to with Stephanie Hollman and Cary Deuber. “My dancing was a little more invasive than expected,” she admits. But it’s OK because the male strippers “are not nude but literally put on a show with full on dance routines.” They’re actually entertainers! (Says Brandi, not me.)

Brandi tried explaining that to her husband Bryan, but he just didn’t see her logic. “My husband Bryan was extremely upset and rightfully so when the other man I’m dancing with is not my spouse. Anyone that knows me well knows that I like to have a good time and at the end of the day it’s not about being dishonest,hurtful, or illegal,” insists Brandi. “I had no intention of disrespecting my husband but truth be told, I would have preferred to be dancing with my husband.” 

“We have a very open honest relationship and me being truthful with him about the experience, I was hoping he would laugh but instead he was disappointed and hurt,” Brandi continues. “It made me feel like a puppy with my tail between my legs. The pain lingered for weeks.” Bryan may have been in pain over Brandi’s dancing, but LeeAnne Locken was in pain over Brandi’s poop hat. 

Brandi’s shitty situation with LeeAnne caused a mouthful of drama over lunch with Stephanie and Cary. “The ladies lunch in my opinion was ridiculous,” complains Brandi. 

“Stephanie is a woman of few words, but when she speaks she nails it.” Unlike LeeAnne who says many many words – all of them about herself. Or Brandi who says many, many words – all of them about poop!

“I love Stephanie and her voice. She is honest and approachable unlike someone that will BOW at you. Cary is awesome, she just doesn’t want the BS in her life and I don’t blame her,” Brandi writes in her Bravo blog. “Cary and Stephanie have been good friends to me accepting me for my sense of humor, flaws, and I do the same. Honestly, who wants friends that don’t do that?” 

With Bryan and LeeAnne treating her like the devil in disguise – Brandi turned to Jesus for salvation. She writes, “I learned that I should sometimes stop and ask God to be my GPS when I am taking a turn onto uncharted and unfamiliar territory, and look where I am headed to with the direction I was taking in hindsight. I can never go wrong with God as my GPS! Amen to that!!!”

Hey – maybe LeeAnne needs to borrow Brandi’s God GPS?

Tonight Stephanie’s defense of Brandi and their friendship will come back to bite her! When their mutual friend Marie hots a cocktail party an embarrassing revelation about LeeAnne comes to light. When Tiffany tries to play mediator between Stephanie, Brandi and LeeAnne Stephanie finds herself on the receiving end of LeeAnne’s carny mouth! 

Before all the drama, however, Stephanie and Brandi visit her parents in Oklahoma. Back in Dallas Cary invites Tiffany to a yoga class and their developing friendship leaves LeeAnne in twists.

Southern Charm’s K. Cooper Ray Discusses His Friendship With Kathryn Dennis And Upcoming Projects…Promises More Drama As The Season Unfolds

The cast of Southern Charm is an entertainingly eccentric bunch, no doubt, but no one seems to capture the essence of the Holy City like K. Cooper Ray. The fashion designer, writer, and etiquette enthusiast thrives on the city’s history and protocol, and he has an eye for the smallest details that make the biggest impressions.

After last week’s showdown between Thomas Ravenel and Jennifer Snowden, and being on the receiving end of Patricia Altschul’s cold shoulder, Cooper was gracious enough to sit down with me for an inside scoop as viewers head deeper into the third season of the Bravo hit. After a brief tour of his latest endeavor (more on that in a bit) at The Hidden Countship, a stunning Italian boutique downtown, we chatted for over an hour. I swear, I could listen to this man’s stories for days…he’s had such a fascinating life and has a no nonsense approach to work, friends, and reality stardom. Just as one would expect, Cooper’s anecdotes are peppered with humor, gentility, and subtle shade.

Cooper reveals that he was approached for the show’s freshman season, but he was wary about putting his life on display in such a public fashion. He shares, “I held out until season 2, and season 2 was a very strange experience for me. I was on guard as a Bravo fanatic. In the beginning, when I was filming, Cameran Eubanks gave me the best advice. She said, ‘Cooper, they can’t make you say anything you didn’t say, and they can’t make you do anything you didn’t do, edit or not. The trick is to remember that when you’re mic-ed, you’re mic-ed, so you have to keep that in mind when you finish filming a scene.”

After learning the ropes and feeling more at ease ignoring the cameras, Cooper was looking forward to this season. He tells me, “I went into Season 3 with just a sense of excitement. I had a great time filming Season 3. Of course, as it went along, personalities clashed,” adding, “I definitely got a lot closer to Kathryn Dennis in the off-season. I developed a real, big brotherly affection for her. She needed a friend. It took her a while to trust me, too, because it’s a very difficult situation to be in, especially for someone her age.” With all of the drama that followed Kathryn after the first season, Cooper was hesitant when producers suggested the pair forge more of a friendship in the second season. He admits, “I apologized to her. I said, ‘I really regret not engaging more with you in Season 2 because I feel like I could have helped.’ I felt very bad about it.”

Practicing that aforementioned subtle shade, Cooper continues with a devilish twinkle in his eye, “We went into the filming of Season 3 prepared to be friends, when the–what’s the best word to use?—the decree came down from, well, I won’t call her the Queen of the South, but some people may think so. You saw on the flamingo party episode that I was told not to be friends with Kathryn. The decree came, I declined, and you’ll see this season I have been sort of banished from their group because of it. So much happened in that episode, at that party. Respectfully, I am going to be friends with whomever I want to be friends with, and I’ve never had a reason not to be friends with Kathryn. She’s been nothing but lovely to me and we’ve had many heart-felt talks.”

He gives a background on his relationship with Patricia, citing, “We have very similar social circles in New York, and we had wonderful talks, on camera and off. After filming Season 2, we had weekly talks and weekly drinks. It was a nice, comfortable friendship. We have a very unique relationship. With me being in fashion and her being a couture client, I was always fascinated by her trips to St. Laurent shows. That’s the Southern Charm she wanted, this high society, Downton Abby-esque show, and I told her, ‘That’s not Bravo.’ I think she blames Kathryn for it. However, I don’t know if we would have gotten past Season 1 if the drama hadn’t occurred with Kathryn and Thomas. Right is right with me. One of the things that I always try to do, both on the show and in real life, is be completely honest. Recognizing his conversation with Patricia at the flamingo party was the next stage in his freeze out, Cooper does laugh at being called ‘the poor man’s Truman Capote.’”

Of the roller coaster that is T-Rav and Kathryn, Cooper asserts, “It’s real. It is very real. Now that we’re in this season, and you’re beginning to see Kathryn’s shuns and Thomas making attempts to save his family. I want to see things resolved between them.” Also, alluding to the blow-up that is brewing between Kathryn and Landon Clements, Cooper believes Landon has found her groove and is becoming the villain that viewers are going to love to hate, which, according to Bethenny Frankel’s reality rules equals relevant.

Now that the season has wrapped (except for some voice dubbing and the reunion) Cooper continues to build the brand he’s cultivated for years with Social Primer. His initial bow tie launch party in Beverly Hills was written up in the Wall Street Journal and praised by Vanity Fair, and it was followed by similar pop-up shops in New York and a three year collaboration with Brooks Brothers. While in residence at The Hidden Countship, Cooper has no shortage of creativity to cultivate. “I’m sewing bow ties, curating an amazing collection of art, but I want to use the space to do what I really love–and what I really love is throwing parties, hosting events, networking, and introducing people. I’m launching a concierge service called The Charleston Way where the grace of old Charleston meets the energy of new Charleston.” 

The concept? He wants to share why history matters, why Charleston matters, why traditions matter. Cooper desires to give his clients the quintessential Charleston experience. Whether it’s a day at the hunt club for a bachelor party, a white-glove luncheon, or debutante tea, no detail will be overlooked as he partners with local businesses to create elaborate and memorable occasions. Cooper explains, “I’m giving you the keys to a world you may not have been born into should you choose to want to be a part of it. Don’t be excluded because you don’t know the rules that those who judge use to exclude you. Beat them at their own game. My motto is ‘You don’t have to be rich to live the good life.’ Learn the signals. People will complain, ‘That’s social climbing.’ Of course it is! This is America, climb away. We weren’t born into it. Neither was Patricia. Well, Thomas was.”

Spoken like a true gentleman. As always, Reality Tea will be recapping tonight’s episode of Southern Charm, and Cooper promises more shade, shade, shade!

Jules Wainstein Hurt By Bethenny Frankel & Carole Radziwill’s Snickering At Brunch

Jules Wainstein was not made to feel comfortable in her Hamptons home when she (foolishly) invited the Real Housewives of New York over for some lox and schmear. Admitting she was hurt to see the snark being spewed behind her back by besties Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel, Jules says she is still hopeful in getting to know them better.

But Jules has high praise for Countess Luanne deLesseps, who she deems to be “nothing but sweetness.” Oh, newbie housewife! Beware of first impressions…they evaporate quickly in the face of narcissism and delusion! Jules reflects on Bethenny’s “birthday tailgate” party first: “Here we are in the Hamptons, my home away from home. I ‘m loving that John and Dorinda [Medley] were with us that weekend, because we had such a great time having them; tons of fun, laughs, and an all-around good time as always. We are all here to celebrate Bethenny’s birthday on Saturday, a tailgate-themed party, and I always love a good festive theme. The party was very well done, every ‘I’ was dotted and every ‘T’ crossed, yet the energy was off.”

Although tension was high in Bethenny’s backyard, Jules shares, “The one good thing, though, is that I got to meet Luann for the first time! She is absolutely lovely, fun, warm and welcoming. I loved my first impression of her – she was nothing but sweetness.”

Moving on to brunch, Jules defends the construction zone that is her house, noting how she told people straight up to bring their own hard hats! She shares in her blog, “I love to entertain. There is nothing better than being surrounded by friends and family. It makes me happy to see people smile and having fun while hosting. I love meeting new people and starting new friendships. I’ve always been great at that.”

However, brunch didn’t last long enough for many friendships – or eating – to get off the ground. Jules laments, “I was disappointed that the girls couldn’t stay long. At the time, I was hoping to get to know everyone better and them to know me. It was hurtful to hear some things that were said in my home behind my back, and even out of my home, but maybe the ‘smorgasbord’ that divided us really was the issue.”

In reference the the eating disorder Bethenny has been accusing Jules of all season (whether by insinuation or overtly), Jules wryly defends, “I may not be a bagel lover, but I do love me some Goldberg’s lox and veggie shmear – it is my absolute favorite! Trust me, I had tons of it through the morning.”

Promising us a longer glimpse into the Depths of Jules, RHONY‘s newest housewife asks viewers to stay tuned for this week’s episode, “where you will get to know more about my story.”

Shahs Of Sunset Recap: Pack Your Kaftans, We’re Going Camping!

This week, the Shahs of Sunset continue to contemplate how to break through to their old friend Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, who is struggling with issues of anger and excessive drinking. A group trip is in order and they waste no time getting the show on the road, so to speak.

GG is in her apartment, cleaning her knives and feeling sorry for herself because of her “declining health” with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I guess Asa Soltan Rahmati got the invite for this pity party and stops by to give GG her “magical” green sauce. Does everything in Asa’s life have magical powers? Note that GG has no problem shoveling carrots and green sauce into her mouth with her RA-riddled hand. GG begins to tell Asa about her fight with Mercedes “MJ” Javid and decides they all need to remember why they fell in love with each other in the first place. GG suggests the best way to do that is to go camping with the group so no one can hear their screams. They call Reza Farahan to explain the plan and he feigns excitement but agrees. GG gives Asa a hearty high-five (with her bad hand).

MJ and Tommy Feight go shopping for her new business card design. Again, MJ mentions how they want to start a family (groan) and how she will need to make more money in order to support their family so she has to step up her real estate efforts. MJ proclaims herself the Condo Queen of WeHo (West Hollywood) and Tommy suggests she make her business cards look as royal as possible. Surprisingly, he knows what a scepter is (paging Porsha Williams!) and recommends she add that image, along with a crown, for her new business cards but MJ won’t go for it.

MJ’s too busy trying to explain to Tommy how she let the cat out of the bag to the others about Reza’s plan to have a secret flash mob wedding when they were at Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido’s dinner party. MJ says that she will be supportive but thinks the idea of a surprise wedding is wrong and Tommy shocks us by gently telling MJ it’s not her place to give her opinion on Reza and Adam Neely’s relationship. I’m actually starting to like Tommy when he isn’t talking about MJ’s boobs. They genuinely seem to enjoy each other’s company and on the way out, Tommy mentions that MJ has “some caboose” on her. Ahhhh, there’s the Tommy we know and love.

Over at Mike and Jessica’s trailer house, Mike is being served what I think is dinner while wandering around in a hotel bathrobe. Jessica cooks and complains about how hard it is for them to manage money when she has a $550 phone bill (the first she has ever paid by herself!) and went to Beverly Hills to get a tea set, which turned out to be $5,000 when she got to the register to pay for it. I was waiting for her next sentence to be that she didn’t purchase it because that’s effing ridiculous but instead, she snipes at Mike for always being on his phone. Mike can’t deal with the nagging of a wife who gets to stay home and cook dinner for him when he is out there trying to take over the world, one shoe at a time. Guys, he’s trying to build an empire, in case you didn’t hear. Now I don’t know how it works in L.A., but where I come from, people who are busy hustling to make things happen aren’t lounging around the house at dinner time in an embroidered bathrobe. What do these two see in each other outside of equal parts of delusion and overspending?

Asa and her hired help/family are busy playing Keeping up with the Kaftans since they are supposedly flying off the (refrigerator) shelves. Asa’s Mom complains she is bored while simultaneously saying that she should be the boss there. She wants to semi-retire from her respectable nursing job and come on board full time to help with the business. Asa’s Dad announces the great news that they have sold their 2,000th order of kaftans and I’m thinking maybe Asa’s Mom might want to hang out in nursing a little longer if she wants to get an actual paycheck. They bust out a bottle of champagne to celebrate and there goes another day of work.

MJ decides to start getting her name out in WeHo as the Condo Queen and drags her mom Vida along to a bingo drag show, which she is co-hosting with a drag queen named Roxy. Apparently, co-hosting this bingo night is so prestigious, only one other co-host has been invited to do so and that would be Barrack Obama. As in, the President of the United States. Can I get a fact check, please? Asa and Jessica come along to play bingo and avoid talking to Vida Dearest. MJ helps Roxy the Drag Queen call out numbers and I’m not 100% sure how this helps her get any business but she ends up taking a spanking for Vida Dearest, who falsely called out bingo when she really didn’t have it. MJ passes out a few business cards that likely went straight into the garbage once she was out of eye shot.

Reza and Mike meet for drinks and Mike talks about how much marriage sucks because he doesn’t get enough sex or blow jobs. Ugh, I see where this is going and feel my gag reflex starting to activate. Reza talks about how much action Mike’s dool needs and how if it doesn’t get that action, it’s going to get into trouble. Reza is talking about Mike’s penis like it’s a completely independent, free-thinking being that isn’t attached to someone who could decide otherwise. Mike goes on to explain that instead of his wedding ring being a deterrent to women when he goes out with single-guy Shervin Roohparvar, it makes women come after him more like he is “the forbidden fruit that everyone wants to taste.” BARRRRRRF. Has there ever been a slimier Bravolebrity (Slade Smiley is raising his hand right now) than Mike?

Just went I thought my gag reflex couldn’t take any more, they transition from talking about GG’s new boob job (Mike emphatically proclaims them a C cup) to talking about how they are worried for GG. Reza brings up the camping trip and their plan to stage an intervention for GG and insists Mike needs to come. Mike quickly discards the fact that he spent all last season accusing GG of lying about him trying to have sex with her and destroying his relationship and agrees to go. Well, that wasn’t hard. I guess hustling can wait another day.

MJ and Shervin meet for lunch to discuss camping in matching yellow ensembles. Where has Shervin been the whole episode? I wish they would give him more camera time since he seems to be the only one with a brain out of this crew. Shervin takes a more understanding approach when it comes to GG and explains how she needs their help since she’s in a dark place. He mentions how maternal MJ is and how she is going to have to keep her kids in line one day and should do the same for GG. MJ relents and decides she will do anything to get the old GG back. 

Asa is on the beach shooting a look book chock full of hooded zebra print kaftans and talks about this photo shoot being her art, her childhood, her inspiration. I’m having flash backs to this same speech when she was burning sage around a giant water cooler for Diamond Water. Asa cheers on her models by telling them things like, “You are radiating intergalactical Star Wars Queen of another planet” and “the beauty of all women is inside of you and like, radiating out” as inspiration. The model pretends to know what the hell she is talking about and starts flapping the kaftan around. Asa barks out more orders about time being diamond water money and the fact that they spent $25K on this look book. Asa insists on ending the shoot by forcing her parents into the high tide to take a picture of them and talk about how appreciative she is of how much they have risked for her to sell kaftans out of her refrigerator.

It’s time for the crew to head out on their trip and the Shahs arrive dressed for camping looking more like tailgaters at a Kid Rock concert. They all board an RV with GG at the helm, driving like Sandra Bullock in Speed. Reza has come equipped with childish pranks in the form of fake poop and spray that will stink up the RV. Even though they come close to driving off the road multiple times, Reza thinks it would be a great time to put the fake poo in the bathroom and spray up the RV to make it stink. As they all try not to wretch out the window, GG weaves in and out of traffic and screeches to a halt in front of a government building so they can all spill out of the RV, screaming and gagging. This draws the attention of a security guard and they narrowly avoid getting arrested or being put on a watch list by piling back into the turd mobile and speeding off.

They finally arrive at their camping destination and decide to set up their tents. Reza throws shade by telling the group that Mike and GG can’t share a tent. They all laugh like this wasn’t the biggest issue of last season and didn’t completely divide the whole group. Mike whines that he wants to be as far away from GG’s tent as possible while she expertly sets up her tent and stabs her knife into the nearest tree. All with her RA hand, mind you.

As it gets dark, the Shahs finish the day holding hands over a camp fire and all we are missing is a guitar and some Kumbaya being sung. I guess we will have to wait until next week to see how this GG intervention goes down and I have a feeling s’mores won’t be the highlight of this camping trip.

Dorinda Medley Wants The RHONY Cast To “Just Get Along”

It’s very difficult for a Real Housewife to admit her mistakes and be accountable for her words and actions. Dorinda Medley is the exception to that norm. There might be other Real Housewives that do the same, but no one else consistently comes to mind in all honesty. But anyway, Dorinda put up her blog entry following the most recent Real Housewives of New York City episode and she is saying what most of the viewers are thinking. 

It really seems like Dorinda makes the effort to give an honest opinion no matter where her loyalties lie. She has no issue calling out her boyfriend for his mistakes, checking a close friend for her behavior, or even admitting if she does something wrong herself. Dorinda just wants to know why people can’t own what they do and just try to get along

It is such an awkward situation when your friends do not approve of or like your significant other. It’s no secret that most of the RHONY cast is not a fan of Dorinda’s boyfriend John Mahdessian and is very difficult for Dorinda to balance. At the same time, Dorinda does not have blinders up when it comes to John’s actions. In the beginning of her Bravo blog entry Dorinda wrote, “OK, this is going to sound awfully cliché but at this point, I feel everything we’ve been up to these past few weeks is just as old and as cliché. So here it goes: CAN’T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!” Good question. I get her point, but that’s also not a show that I want to watch in all honesty. Nevertheless, I am over the ladies dragging out the same issues. I’m ready to move on to some new story lines.

Dorinda is not the kind of woman who defends her boyfriend no matter what. In her blog she shared what she really thought about John’s confrontation at the bra party with Bethenny Frankel: “I’ve said this before, so I’ll say it again since it bears repeating: John had no right, and it was truly out of line. So now he had to make up for it and be gracious and respectful. Take it from me — those two qualities are VERY rare in this day and age. Especially in this city, and even more so amongst our group.” It’s pretty big of her to admit this especially when she spends so much time defending John to the other Housewives and the viewers at home. It just shows that she makes an effort to be honest and avoid bias.

Dorinda also wrote, “Look, his apology attempt wasn’t done in the style I would have preferred; and Bethenny’s attempt at being gracious wasn’t done in the style I would have preferred either.” Dorinda always tells it like it is.

She also had some opinions on this annoying rift between Carole Radziwill and Luann de Lesseps. Once again, I really feel like she wrote what the fans have been thinking: “And on that, it’s quite obvious that Carole and Luann can’t move on from last year, something they’re BOTH guilty of and took way over-the-top — both online, on-camera, and in day-to-day. Fact is, they both needed to apologize to each other because it certainly wasn’t a one-way street.” She’s right. They’ve both made remarks about each other and they both should just own up to it, apologize, and move forward.

When it comes down to it, Dorinda is right. Just take responsibility for your actions and be nice to people. Hopefully everyone can just say worry for all of their wrongdoings and move on- to some fresh, new drama.
