When Kelly Dodd joined Real Housewives of Orange County, she quickly became Vicki Gunvalson’s sole friend in the cast. This season, that could not be further from the truth. After Vicki and her man Steve Lodge went on secretive double dates with Kelly’s ex Michael Dodd after setting him up with a friend, Kelly was (understandably) upset with Vicki for breaking girl code.
Sure, they “made up,” but the tension has been thick between the two of them ever since. Watching the show back and commenting on their past arguments in interviews and on social media definitely hasn’t helped the situation. Nowadays it’s clear that these two are not on speaking terms and they are bound to be arguing with each other on opposite couches when they tape the reunion.
Vicki had a lot to say about Kelly during her recent appearance on Bravo’s The Daily Dish Podcast. At first she discussed the negativity (and rumors) surrounding her relationship with Steve. She just chalked it up to, “This is typical Kelly, typical Shannon [Beador], typical Tamra [Judge]. I know what I have and that’s it.” So are all three of them wrong? Or is this a case of where there’s smoke, there’s fire… or at the very least a teeny flame?
Vicki insisted, “I know the truth.” Then she claimed, “We’re happy and Kelly’s not happy. She’s not in a good place in her life and I wish she was because she was married with Michael, even though she wasn’t happily married, she was a different Kelly. Now she is just literally, I don’t know who she is.”
Vicki continued, “She’s very extreme with her emotions. You can tell by every scene. She’s yelling or being rude to somebody”- these have actually been some of the best scenes this season. So keep on yelling, Kelly.
The OG of the OC claimed, “If you’re friends with somebody you want the best for them. I want the best for all my friends. I don’t want to go after any of them, stating something that may or may not be true. Let’s just film a good show. Be inspirational. Let’s have fun.” Let’s “be inspirational”? Does she not know what show she’s on? If no one went after anyone then they would not be in Season 13 right now.
Vicki insisted, “How does she know what my net worth is and what Steve’s net worth is? We don’t talk about money. It’s not important to us.” Really? Isn’t Vicki the one who’s constantly talking about her job and making money?
She feigned clueless, saying, “Kelly’s mad at me for some reason. I think she’s just trying to get attention, even though it’s not good attention. I just wish she would settle down and be kind. I don’t know what her motive is. I haven’t figured it out yet. I haven’t called her to ask her, but I have to believe she’s trying to stay relevant and trying to just cause problems for really no reason.” These two have been publicly talking shit about each other for months. How does Vicki have no idea what Kelly has against her? She has been very loud and clear with her grievances. Not only that but Kelly is not “trying to stay relevant.” Kelly IS relevant.
Then Vicki theorized, “I have to believe that Kelly didn’t want us to be close to Michael because she didn’t want us to know all that went down in their marriage. It’s sad. I wanted them to stay together.” When did Vicki become such an anti-divorce crusader? This is becoming a little much.
She even hypothesized, “Michael really loved and cared for Kelly. I think he still does and I think she still does.” Says the same woman who has mentioned (numerous times) this season how she wishes she tried more to stay in her marriage, even though she’s in a committed relationship with Steve.

This season on Real Housewives of Dallas has Cary Deuber caught in the middle of the drama. She’s not actually involved in all of the storylines, but she’s just doing what she can to maintain relationships with everyone on the show, even if they are all arguing with each other.
Sometimes she’s just being neutral. On other occasions, she’s on an “honesty kick” telling each of them what their frenemy said about her the night before. Don’t get me wrong, Cary’s insistence on honesty is great for the show. She stirs the pot and pushes the plot lines forward, but that might not sit well with the rest of the ladies by the time the season is over.
Cary had a lot to say about her enemy turned friend LeeAnne Locken along with their other costars Kameron Westcott and D’Andra Simmons during her recent appearance on Bravo’s The Daily Dish podcast.
Unlike the first two seasons when Cary and LeeAnne were mortal enemies, the two of them are both trying their best to get along tis season and it’s actually working this time. Cary said, “I think that can be attributed to both of us. I think I stood my ground and stood up for myself.” She declared, “I finally found my voice.”
Cary admitted, “I think I was scared and intimidated before. I mean I was scared of LeeAnne. I was really like terrified because it was a scary…. I just had a scary couple of years.” She explained, “I just feel like laying down some boundaries and being really straight forward and honest with her was the best thing that I could have done. For me, from perspective, I feel like things are better and it will take time.” It should be very interesting to see how their relationship progresses throughout the season, especially since LeeAnne did just talk about how grateful she was for Cary’s friendship in an interview. Times have really changed!
When asked about her status with Kameron, Cary explained, “You go through growing pains in relationships. I care about Kam. I think she’s a sweet girl. I don’t have a bad word to say about her. I would say that it’s just all about communication. It’s all about communication and it was frustrating. We went through some really frustrating times for me.” She teased, “There’s a little more [to come]. You will wait and see.”
During a cast trip, LeeAnne and D’Andra argued about who is the “queen.” Cary later revealed that they were actually arguing over who was the star of Real Housewives of Dallas. During this podcast, Cary was asked to name the true queen of Dallas. She initially joked, “Not me, so that’s the positive.”
Then she said, “I just go ahead and give that crown on over to D’Andra. She loves it.” Was that some shade in that last sentence?
Cary concluded, “I think it’s like a goal in life for her, so I feel like she should have that. If that’s important, then I think go for it, sister.” Again, was that shade? It sure seemed like it.

Unfortunately for Shannon Beador, this is another Real Housewives of Orange County season when she’s not getting along with the new girl. However, there are two new Housewives this time around- Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter– and they are both at odds with Shannon.
Shannon is all about her post-divorce snapback, her line of food at QVC, and her children. Meanwhile, Emily and Gina are upset that Shannon has no interest in being friends with them. Is Shannon being cold to them? Or are they just forgetting about the drama that Gina brought Shannon into? Is it possible that they’re all right/wrong on some level? Not in Shannon’s eyes. She is adamant that she just doesn’t have the time to acknowledge Gina and Emily- even though that is pretty much what she has to do as a cast member on Real Housewives of Orange County.
Shannon discussed the last RHOC episode in a Bravo blog post. She wrote, “I have heard rumblings that Gina and Emily are saying that I’m not taking the time to get to know them. I have been swamped and don’t have a lot of time.” Sure, she is probably a busy person, but she is literally getting paid to hang out with these women.
Nevertheless, Shannon continued, “That being said, Emily and Gina have not been the friendliest of girls to me. I was falsely accused of talking about Emily’s marriage, which didn’t happen, and Gina basically blamed the Emily/Kelly [Dodd] argument at Eddie’s [Judge] birthday on the fact that I tried to diffuse Kelly’s anger.” Those are valid reasons for Shannon keeping her distance, but some of her closest friends on this show have done WAY worse to her. Should she just give them another chance?
Shannon declared, “No, I am definitely not making time for Emily and Gina when I don’t have much of it.” Then she teased, “Until next week when Emily and Gina continue to get their feathers ruffled…” Well, of course. Shannon vs. the new Housewife has become a go-to storyline at this point and pretty much a guarantee to get a second season. There is no doubt that this will continue during next week’s episode and even a few after that.

The post-walk-of-shame fight between Mike Shouhed and Reza Farahan during the Shahs of Sunset cast trip in Las Vegas was nothing short of explosive. Was it necessary? No, not really, but it also wasn’t necessary for Reza to tell Shervin Roohparvar that Mike’s girl Morgan moved out of his place. How did he think that one was going to end up?
It was great TV, and they did end up making up before the episode ended, so all is well that ends well- except that this never ends. There is a reunion show and other press interviews; i.e. opportunities to throw more shade. Reza and Destiney Rose appeared on Watch What Happens Live to discuss the last Shahs of Sunset episode.
Andy Cohen asked Destiney and Reza, “You’ve known each other for how long?” Destiney answered, “I was like a month.” Wait. What? Reza revealed, “Yeah. I remember when she was born.” Wow. The relationships on this show really are long lasting.
They also discussed Destiney’s quest to get in touch with her father. Reza remarked, “It means the world. The fact that her dad wasn’t in her life shows up all the time. So to have answers, to get some information, I think would be really helpful.” Destiney explained, “You don’t realize that you’re going through this until you really have to feel. You’re so good at hiding things and emotions.”
And then they got to the drama. Andy pointed out the obvious: “If you kept your mouth shut to Shervin, arguably none of this would have happened.” Reza admitted, “It wouldn’t have, but Andy.”
Reza continued, “What I should have said was ‘You go to the raunchy, nasty straight places that I’m not going to show up to. Keep an eye on him so he doesn’t do something he can’t come back from.’ That’s why I wanted to enlist his help for later on that night. Then Shervin blurts it out. I asked you to keep an eye on Mike for when you guys end up at the strip club. This is not helpful.” Sharing private information while consuming copious amounts of alcohol was just not going to end up well.
Then a viewer asked about Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s pregnancy. Reza shared, “She’s amazing. We’re so happy for her, it’s like literally a dream come true. You would think I was pregnant, as excited as I am for her.”
A caller asked Destiney, “What was going through your mind when Mike made those comments about your sexuality?” She explained the situation perfectly: “The first thought that came to my mind is that every female has encountered one of those kids in high school that was like sprung on the cheerleader, the cheerleader didn’t give him the time of day, and because of that her goes around and spreads rumors. That’s the kind of vibe I got.”
Destiney clarified, “I’m the cheerleader in this scenario. He’s that nerd who wants attention from the cheerleader and is not getting it and because of that he makes up these stupid ass things. And that’s just one of the things he has said.”
A fan asked, “Do you think there’s a real connection between GG [Gharachedaghi] and Nema [Vand] or do you think they’re just horny due to heartbreak?” Reza theorized, “I think there may have been a connection, but Nema might have seen Lochnessa rear its ugly head. So I think it’s potentially a maybe done dizzle.” Destiney commented, “Sexual tension, yeah.” Absolutely, but does anything ever happen between these two? It’s really been building up all season long.

When Real Housewives of Dallas started out, it was all about the charity scene in Dallas. Ironically enough, it has been more difficult for the women to partake in philanthropy ever since the show started airing. It would make sense for the ladies to be more than welcomed thanks to all of the exposure they’ve received from the show, but some members of Dallas society are not welcoming their presence.
Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond discussed the impact of the show on their reputations in the Dallas community, their budding relationships with Kameron Westcott, and whether LeeAnne Locken’s wedding will actually happen or not in a podcast interview with Heather McDonald.
An audience member during the live taping of the Juicy Scoop With Heather McDonald podcast, asked Stephanie and Brandi “Do you think LeeAnne is really going to get married or is the whole thing a farce?” At this time last year, it would be a guarantee that Stephanie and Brandi would throw shade at LeeAnne, but things have changed. Brandi and LeeAnne are still at odds, but Stephanie and LeeAnne are a whole other story. In fact, LeeAnne recently talked about how she is so grateful for her friendship with Stephanie.
Stephanie answered, “My personal opinion is that I honestly do think she’s going to get married because they’ve been together for ten years. They live together. I think they’re pretty much already married.” Fair enough.
She continued, “I don’t know why there were so many questions this season about it. It was kind of weird at the beginning. I was like ‘Why are we asking her about her wedding date?’ but I did not have that close of a relationship with her, so I would never have questioned it. She would have been pissed.” Why were there so many questions about this? She got engaged last season. It does take a while to plan a big wedding. Why is everyone so skeptical of LeeAnne’s wedding planning?
LeeAnne’s former bestie D’Andra Simmons is the one who lead the charge to question LeeAnne’s impending marriage, just as her friendship with LeeAnne just started to go south. Stephanie remarked, “Just out of the gate, I just felt confused from the beginning. I thought maybe there’s something between them and there’s more to this?” We really do need to get to the bottom of this LeeAnne vs. D’Andra feud. What is the real root of the problems between them?
Brandi did not actually comment about the wedding, but she did have a question about LeeAnne’s fiance Rich Emberlin’s eye patch situation. She joked, “Is it that real?” Just add that to the list of comments that will not sit well with LeeAnne.
It is going to take a lot of Brandi and LeeAnne to get along, but her relationship with Kameron has made some great strides since their constantly arguing during Season 2. Now Brandi feels a whole different way about the woman she dubbed “Big Bird” in honor of the Sesame Street character.
Brandi and Stephanie were asked to share their thoughts on Kameron and that pressure to be in Dallas society that Kameron mentions in almost every episode. Brandi admitted, “I do truly like Kameron as an individual. She has a really good heart. She’s actually funny. I do think she needs to loosen up a little bit more, but as far as what Court’s [Westcott] family thinks of her, I know that his mom is one of her best friends. They’re really close. I can speak for that.”
Brandi also shared, “Yes, she has gifted my dogs Sparkle Dog.” She revealed, “The poop was not pink, I’m really disappointed.” Same here, Brandi.
Stephanie said, “Honestly Kameron and I get along now and I’ve gotten to know her. I just wish that she would have more fun with it. I don’t think that it’s gonna be as bad for her as she thinks it is. I think it’s pressure she puts on herself. I don’t think it’s pressure that her in-laws put on her.”
Even though Stephanie does not think that the Dallas society pressure is as intense as Kameron thinks it is, she has encountered some issues with its members thanks to the show. Stephanie remarked, “Those people don’t talk to us anymore.”
She went on to explain, “Season 1, we did so much within the charity world. People would kiss your asses because they wanted you to give them money for the events they threw. Whenever Season 1 came out, we did talk about pooping and farting a lot, so I get it, but they would not even make eye contact. They would not talk. They would not make eye contact. They would occasionally go on Facebook and trash the show. It was hurtful, but then I realized we’re saving a lot of money not being their friends, so it’s OK.”
This wasn’t just a Season 1 thing. She also shared a recent story. Stephanie said, “We did not know the person chairing, but some of the other girls did. She was chairing this event and Travis [Hollman] and I were the title sponsors. We were the biggest donor and it’s a charity that we support every year. Like a week before this girl goes on a tangent on Facebook about how we’re all trashy and disgusting and don’t represent Dallas, not knowing that we were Hollman, her big sponsor.” Yikes.
Stephanie concluded, “So I told Travis and Travis told the lady that runs the charity and the girl actually had to call and apologize to us.” Justice served.

All of the cast members from Season 11 of Real Housewives of Atlanta were in attendance for Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling’s wedding. This most likely means that it was filmed for the show, so get excited for that.
Of course, most of the ladies uploaded photos from the big day. Well, they all did except for Eva, who is probably waiting to get those professionally edited pics back from the photographer for an exclusive article instead of sharing an iPhone photo on Instagram. Zero photos of Eva or her wedding dress have surfaced, but the other Atlanta ladies shared a bunch of great pics.
It seemed like the ladies coordinated their outfits with all of them rocking black and/or red gowns- very Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion of them to make sure their dresses looked great together on camera. Porsha Williams had her baby bump on full display with her fiance Dennis McKinley by her side. Cynthia Bailey and her new man Mike Hill were in attendance.
Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker celebrated Eva and Michael’s big day. NeNe Leakes went to the event solo. Marlo Hampton and the new girls Tanya Sam and Shamari DeVoe were also there for the wedding.

Welcome to the OC, bitch. This is how they do it in Orange County. Unfortunately for Emily Simpson, this means that she has not received a warm welcome from the Real Housewives of Orange County cast, specifically Shannon Beador.
Shannon is so focused on her own personal comeback that she has adopted a “no new friends” attitude. Then again, Shannon has pretty much never got along with new cast members on this show. So it’s just a different season with the same old Shannon in that regard.
Emily discussed her issues with Shannon in a Bravo blog post. She declared, “I have always been a girls’ girl. I think women need healthy and inspiring friendships with other women to make their life whole and fulfilling.”
She continued, “It was so fun hanging out with the other ladies to watch Shannon on QVC. She did so great!!” Emily revealed, “I remember asking her about it often and even sent her a text before her appearance wishing her good luck. However, she never responded. In general, I have never received much effort from Shannon.” Yikes. She couldn’t even send out a “thank you” text. The “you” would probably come up via autocorrect. It would take two seconds…
Emily explained, “I realize she has a full and busy life, as do I, but even when we are actually together, I’ve never felt Shannon try to engage with me, reciprocating questions about my life, family, career, or children. In fact, the only time I’ve seen her eyes light up and engage in a conversation with me was when she was talking about salmon with herbed cream sauce.” She’s definitely on that self-promotion grind after all of her divorce drama.
Then Emily threw some veteran level shade: “I apologize, Shannon, that you have never seen ‘Fun Emily.’ You might be surprised to find out that I am really fun to be around. As far as ‘Fun Shannon,’ I’ve given up on that urban legend. I’d settle for ‘Happy Shannon.’ Heck, I’ll even take ‘Nice Shannon’ or ‘Common Courtesy Shannon’ at this point! Maybe someday Shannon will realize we have a lot in common, we will become friends, and she can finally unblock me from her Instagram page.” Yeah, fat chance of that happening. Unless Emily is going to post about Shannon’s QVC line on her page.
