Why Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Might Be on the Outs With Robyn

When it came to the politics of the polygamous family, Janelle Brown was always Switzerland. The Sister Wives star always came across as logical and tried to see both sides of each argument. However, her patience was tested over the years thanks to Kody Brown’s fourth and favorite wife, Robyn Brown. Sobbin Robyn would use tears to manipulate any situation, but it seems Janelle has finally had enough.

Robyn Brown has put a wedge in between the plural family

Before Garrison Brown passed away on March 5 at the age of 25, the plural family was fractured. Robyn was often seen as the catalyst for most of the family’s problems. She and Janelle hardly seemed to interact, but the last few seasons highlighted their strained relationship. As Janelle was deciding whether to fight for her marriage to Kody or not, Robyn could often be caught “pushing” Kody to reconcile. But fans frequently questioned just how much actual encouragement there was. As Janelle and Kody’s relationship fell by the wayside, Robyn seemed to isolate herself more. It was obvious that Robyn didn’t really care what happened to her husband’s other marriages one way or the other.

As the new season of Sister Wives gets ready to premiere, there have been rumors that Robyn caused a disturbance at Garrison’s funeral. Photos from the Air Force memorial show Janelle and her son, Hunter Brown, sitting in the front row. Only one seat over was Robyn, who also sat in the front row crying. Janelle wrote, “Many of you have already seen a lot of these online, often with snarky comments accompanying them. But this was a beautiful moment for us.” And even though she acknowledged the rumors, fans are convinced Robyn acted out. Our only hope is that TLC cameras caught the aftermath.

Garrison Brown’s death came as a shock to the whole family

In an interview with People, the proud mother shared that Garrison “didn’t ever express any kind of extreme sad feelings. In fact, he was very funny, very upbeat. He had a career path that he was excited about.” The Sister Wives star added that the family had “no idea that he was in that place,” noting that “substance abuse” likely added to his state of mind before his death. Janelle revealed that Garrison didn’t show any warning signs, sharing, “We actually were having conversations. He had all the resources that he could have needed. This was just such a shock. We just never expected this.”

Garrison was found dead in his Flagstaff, Arizona home. Officials later ruled that his death was a suicide due to a gunshot wound to the head. In the interview, Janelle shared that she thought Garrison was starting to get better. The mother of six noted, “I really actually had sort of thought like, ‘Okay, maybe he’s finally starting to get his momentum. It’s hard in your twenties to find your path. And I was really excited, so it was such a shock… because there was just no indication at all.”

Janelle Brown has learned some tough lessons after Garrison’s death

Even though Janelle is still very much in mourning, she is sharing some of the tough lessons she learned. Kody’s second wife believes that there are many young men like Garrison who are struggling. She added, “We should be speaking more, especially about mental health for men, and that there’s no shame in getting help and seeking help. We just had no idea. This was such a shock to us.” Janelle told readers that her family now does “real check-ins” and keeps one another updated on life issues. She noted, “We’re very real, and we assess.” Janelle added, “Life situations come up, and we’re always like, ‘Okay, so what about mental health?’ We actually say the words and we wait to hear what’s really happening, not just kind of gloss over it. I think we’re definitely putting more stock in mental health in our family.”

Janelle even checks in on Kody periodically, who is still mourning in his own way. Kody’s former wife shared, “I think that maybe it puts perspective, maybe it does, maybe you’re not quite so angry or so whatever.” However, she didn’t mention Robyn. Janelle did wish everyone the best, but it is clear that she is protecting her and her children’s mental health more and more these days. Hopefully, Season 19 will shed some light on where she stands with Robyn.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7 has finally kicked off! On Before The 90 Days, Americans travel abroad to meet their international partners for the first time. Season 7 features eight diverse couples, who will be meeting all over the globe. One of the most interesting couples so far is Tigerlily Abdelfattah and Adnan Abdelfattah, who met for the first time in Jordan. In neighboring Europe, Vanja and Božo’s story will take place in Croatia while Joe and Magda will unite in Poland.

Moving down to Africa, Rayne flew to Nigeria to meet her partner Chidi. Nearby, Niles will meet Matilda in Ghana, while Veah flies to South Africa to stay with her boyfriend Sunny. Brian Muniz traveled to Brazil to meet his girlfriend, Ingrid, while Loren Allen jetted off to the Philippines to be with Faith. Season 7 has a lot to offer, and we can’t wait to see everything it has in store!

Crazy love stories on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days

One of the most exciting aspects of any season of 90 Day Fiancé is the love stories. Throughout the last ten years, the franchise has seen some interesting stories. Season 7, however, seems to include a few crazy love stories of its own.

Tigerlily and Adnan have a wild story line this season, which is sure to play out interestingly. Only a few hours after landing in Jordan, Tigerlily planned to marry Adnan. Despite only meeting in person that day, the couple decided to get married so that they could stay together under the rules of Adnan’s Islamic religion. Many of Tigerlily’s friends were unsure about her decision and expressed their concerns. As for Tigerlily, she began having doubts on her way to the ceremony and even questioned if she really wanted to do it.

Another couple to keep an eye on this season are Loren and Faith. Loren has hopes of staying in The Philippines with Faith permanently but is keeping a few secrets from her. Unlike Faith, Loren has been seeing other people during their relationship. Loren wishes to have an open relationship but claims that Faith is the one for him. It will be intriguing to see how that plays into Loren and Faith’s relationship.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days will feature three new countries

Season 7 is not only one of the most diverse seasons of Before The 90 Days but of the entire franchise. This season will feature three new countries, being Ghana, Croatia, and Poland. While the other five countries which include Jordan, Brazil, The Philippines, Nigeria, and South Africa have been shown before, they still add a ton of diversity.

This season will not only promote diversity culturally but it includes two cast members with disabilities. First, Chidi from Nigeria is the first visually impaired individual to appear on the franchise. Chidi was born with the ability to see but later became blind after two separate accidents. Brian, on the other hand, is the first quadriplegic to be on the show. After being shot during a carjacking, Brian became a wheelchair user which left him to go on to coach wheelchair rugby. This led him to travel all over the world, despite his disability.

Before The 90 Days Season 7 will also include representation for the LGBTQ community. Faith is transgender and refers to herself by the term “lady boy”. This means that while Faith is biologically male, she likes to dress feminine and identifies as a woman. Loren also identifies as “gynosexual”, which he explained means that he is attracted to femininity.

Intense drama

Of course, no season of 90 Day Fiancé is complete without drama. It looks like Season 7 won’t disappoint, as several of the couples will be having some intense arguments based on the trailer.

One of the most heated interactions is shown between Veah and Sunny. Veah will be bringing her ex-boyfriend to South Africa to meet Sunny, which is sure to cause chaos. At the end of the trailer, Veah’s ex is shown arguing with Sunny, which causes him to run off. Veah runs after him, but he proclaims that he wants her to “go back to the US”. Another big fight will take place between Tigerlily and Adnan. The latter feels frustrated that Tigerlily’s chiropractor is a man, whereas she feels that it is “a complete double standard”.

Rayne and Chidi are also shown at odds when Chidi confesses he won’t be intimate with her before marriage. It’s evident that Rayne feels betrayed by this and isn’t very happy with the news. Brian and Ingrid will also be getting into a heated argument later this season, while out at dinner. During the meal, Brian tells Ingrid that he’s worried he’s being used, which causes her to leave. This season of Before The 90 Days is certainly not one to be missed!

Greatest Competitions in Big Brother History

There have been countless memorable competitions in Big Brother history. In the last 26 seasons, we’ve seen houseguests compete in a wide array of entertaining challenges, including spinning around in tutus, maneuvering chicken eggs through a wired fence, and holding onto a slanted wall for hours. While some Big Brother competitions have only appeared once, others have become an essential part of the game, popping up season after season. Let’s revisit some of the most iconic comps together.

Here are the greatest competitions in Big Brother history …

Best Big Brother competitions: Pressure Cooker

The Pressure Cooker may be the most famous competition in Big Brother history. It was first introduced in Big Brother 6 and later brought back in Big Brother 25. The comp tested a player’s endurance skills by locking them in a transparent box for several hours. The houseguests were instructed to hold onto a red button and not let any part of their body, except their feet, touch the ground. Once a houseguest was eliminated from the competition, they would open a “mystery box,” which contained either a prize or a punishment. The punishments released on the houseguests included rotten eggs and an air horn, making their time in the clear box far from enjoyable.

The first Pressure Cooker lasted almost 14 hours, making it the longest competition in the show’s history. The revival in BB25 nearly tied the record, coming in just four minutes short.

The duration of the comp is not the only reason it is so memorable. In BB6, fan-favorite Kaysar Ridha’s decision to throw the win to Jennifer Vasquez proved to be a disastrous mistake. Jen initially promised to keep Kaysar safe but went back on her word and nominated him for eviction. His eviction devastated fans and solidified the Pressure Cooker’s infamous reputation.

Best Big Brother competitions: OTEV

OTEV was first introduced in Big Brother 7 and has since become a staple of the game. Fans can count on the legendary comp showing up at some point each summer.

The rules are simple. Every season a different totem named “Otev” shows up to host a Veto challenge. “Otev” always appears in different forms. Some previous forms include a sweet tooth shark, an absent-minded alien, and an angry penguin. Otev gives the players a clue, which prompts them to go find a card with the matching answer. In each round, the last player to present Otev with the correct answer is eliminated. The game ends when there is only one player left standing. The winning houseguest is presented with the Power of Veto.

The current Big Brother season featured the shortest Otev competition ever. MJ Manbeck was rewarded with the POV after just one round after her competitors failed to find the right answer to Otev’s clue.

Best Big Brother competitions: BB Comics

BB Comics made its first appearance in Big Brother 16 and has popped up in every season since then. The competition is essentially a spot-the-difference game that tests a player’s ability to memorize small details. The fun part of the challenge is that the comics depict players from the current season. It’s always fun seeing the artist’s take on the current houseguests and usually, there are some fun references from the season hidden in the comic. I look forward to seeing what the BB26 comics will look like.

Best Big Brother competitions: What the Bleep?

“What the Bleep?” also debuted in BB16. The memory comp tests a player’s critical thinking skills. The houseguests are shown audio that has a strategically placed “beep” over one of the words. They must use their memory and context clues to determine what the bleeped-out word may be. Producers always have fun with this comp and usually try to find the most suggestive phrases they can. Big Brother is usually pretty PG but “What the Bleep?” pushes the edge a little bit.

The competition has appeared as both a Head of Household and a Veto comp in the past. It usually appears towards the end of a season since producers need to grab soundbites from throughout the summer. While it may not be Big Brother’s most sophisticated comp, it is a lot of fun. Fans look forward to the cheeky challenge all season long.

Best Big Brother competitions: Slippery Slope

Slippery Slope is one of Big Brother’s oldest challenges. It was first introduced as an HOH competition in Big Brother 8. Houseguest Zach Swerdzewski was the first player to win the now-beloved challenge. The challenge has been included in every season since Season 13.

The rules are simple. The players slide back and forth on a slippery slide in a race to fill up a bowl with liquid. The first houseguest to fill up their bowl wins the competition. In my opinion, it is one of the most entertaining competitions to watch. Not only is it satisfying to see the players slowly fill up their bowls, but it also provides a lot of comedic material. I feel bad laughing at the houseguests slipping on the slope but it is never not funny.
