Did 90 Day Fiancé Couple Jibri and Miona Break Up?

Former 90 Day Fiancé stars Jibri and Miona Bell have been acting suspiciously, and there’s more and more evidence suggesting they’ve called it quits. The couple were featured on 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, and they weren’t exactly fan favorites. Jibri and Miona were heavily criticized and were one of the least-liked couples in the whole cast.

One of the many things that fans couldn’t stand about Jibri and Miona is how disingenuous they often seemed. From minute one, there were rumors that the couple had already gotten married before Season 9 was even filmed. Many felt that their alleged prior marriage made their segments a waste of time. 

Jibri and Miona were also quickly labeled clout chasers by viewers who didn’t find their constant self promotion charming. After appearing in the franchise, the couple have been working on building their social media presence. On the show Jibri tried to draw attention to his band, but on social media he’s mostly pushing self-help rhetoric. Miona, on the other hand, has done a better job monetizing her brief reality TV fame. She claims to have made a killing selling clip-on hair extensions, but how valid those claims are is anyone’s guess.

Despite their criticism, Jibri and Miona actually seemed pretty compatible, given that they equally craved notoriety. But lately, the couple appear to be having problems. There are several indications that Jibri and Miona broke up.

Jibri and Miona Purged Their Instagram Accounts

Since their 90 Day Fiancé debut, Jibri and Miona have been plastered all over each others’ Instagram accounts. They constantly posted cozy photos and videos together, often shared tributes to the other on their own accounts, and regularly liked each others’ posts.

But a peek at their Instagram accounts today tells a much different story. Jibri and Miona have deleted every post featuring the other. Looking at their grid, you’d never know that either of them is married, which is a major departure from their previous Instagram activity,

Miona and Jibri Aren’t Wearing Their Wedding Rings

A closer look at Jibri and Miona’s recent posts reveals even more evidence that the couple has broken up. Neither of them appear to be wearing their wedding rings in the latest videos they’ve shared.

In this recent video that Miona posted, she very obviously doesn’t have a ring on any of her fingers. Jibri has also shared videos lately with no ring in sight. If just one of them were missing their wedding ring, it could perhaps be played off like it got lost or is being cleaned. However, both of them taking off their rings is pretty suspicious behavior for a married couple.

They’re In Different Locations

Another big breakup clue is that Jibri and Miona are currently thousands of miles apart, and have been for some time. On the show, the couple temporarily lived with Jibri’s parents in South Dakota. After they got married, Miona and Jibri relocated to Palm Springs, California.

However, while Miona is still in Palm Springs, Jibri has been traveling solo through Southeast Asia for weeks. An extended trip like that without your spouse doesn’t seem to be a sign that all is well in the relationship. 

There’s a Chance Jibri and Miona Are Faking It

The evidence is pretty damning and signs definitely point to a breakup, However, Jibri and Miona are no ordinary 90 Day Fiancé couple. The pair have developed a reputation for seeking attention in any way possible. Though it’s a long shot, it’s possible that Jibri and Miona decided to fake a break up to get people talking about them again.

After Season 9, there were rumors that Jibri and Miona were salty that TLC didn’t sign them on to return for Happily Ever After?, as some of their Season 9 castmates were. It’s possible that Jibri and Miona are faking their marital strife as a last-ditch effort to return to the franchise. The couple may have set their sights on the latest spin-off, 90 Day: The Last Resort, and are angling to get cast on Season 2.

After not being on TV for a while, interest in Jibri and Miona overall was waning. Maybe Miona’s hair clip-ons sales were dropping, or Jibri wasn’t getting as much attention as he wanted. It would be easy enough to fake a breakup. Removing their wedding rings and purging their Instagram accounts is clearly enough to get fans talking. It should be noted that Jibri and Miona are both still following each other on Instagram, so they haven’t cut ties entirely.

However, Jibri and Miona have still been apart for a while, which, with the other evidence, isn’t a good sign for their relationship. Occam’s razor suggests that the simplest answer is often the right one, so it’s most likely that Jibri and Miona’s marriage will soon end in divorce. Signs point to a breakup, and that’s probably what happened.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8, Episode 4 Recap: Mean Girl Behavior

The drama continued in Below Deck Mediterranean this week. While Tumi’s initial approach to being chief stew wasn’t perfect, Natalya is beginning to prove that she’s even better at holding a grudge than she is at doing laundry. Captain Sandy’s had enough of the antics, and I don’t blame her. Here’s everything that went down in Below Deck Med Season 8, Episode 4: “Take It to the Bridge.” And no, that’s not a Justin Timberlake reference.

Lost in translation

While Natalya whines about Tumi playing “victim,” Max is having some issues in communication. He’s usually on French vessels, which means he speaks in his native tongue. This is the first time he’s taken a job where the language among the crew is English. What I’m sure he can understand, however, is all of the bitching being done about Tumi.

“I f*cking hate her,” Natalya says to Jack. For his part, the chef just wants to get on with his job. It’s clear he wants no part in this rivalry, and he even tells Natalya that she’s going to have to make things work for the good of the crew. Not getting the ego-rub she wanted, Natalya takes her complaining to Kyle. In confessional, he admits he’s not very good at keeping his mouth shut. “I’m realizing that my involvement has made things worse.” Oh, Kyle. This was your master plan all along!

Over on deck, Luka’s in love with Lara’s work ethic. She knocks it out of the park every time, and there’s even talk with Captain Sandy about bringing her up into a lead deckhand role. It’ll be nice to see that come full circle in a future episode. Let’s hope Lara can keep up the good work. Also, shoutout to Haleigh. She’s quiet but great at her job.

Good vibes from Tumi, for Jack at least

Jack speaks in confessional about how he prejudged Tumi due to his loyalty to Natalya. He admits that he actually has a “good vibe” with the chief stew, despite their rocky start. They’re working together well, even with Natalya in his ear. Now though, instead of buzzing in the chef’s lobes, she’s moved onto Jessika. The fourth stew is tired of getting “another update … about what Tumi did wrong,” every time she speaks to Nat.

It’s time to set up an exclusive lunch for the guests at Santa Margherita Ligure Castle. Lara is growing weary of Max VERY quickly. He appears to be trying to do the least amount of work possible, in a way that he can still get through to the next day. “We don’t have time to f*cking sit around and w*nk,” Lara reminds him as he complains about being tired. “I wanna kick Max in the d*ck,” she clarifies in confessional. “Yachting is not just fun and games, it’s f*cking work … trust me I’m gonna say a few things.”

Thankfully, the setup is completed on time, and the guests love every second. Getting to their destination is a long hike, but those views and Jack’s incredible food are worth every step. But as they enjoy their vacation, things kick off all over again over on the yacht…

Natalya’s looking for confrontation

“The cabins are not finished,” Tumi says upon inspection. This, despite Natalya claiming to have done them before leaving to help out with the guests at their lunch. With spots on the mirrors and shower door, along with no fresh towels being put in the bedroom we’re shown, it’s easy to side with Tumi on this one. She feeds back the information to Jessika, who then gives the feedback to Natalya upon her return to the yacht. This does not go down well.

Natalya calls Tumi to the bar over her radio, as if she’s the one in charge. “What’s the issue this time?” she says, instantly confrontational. Now, I made sure to watch Tumi very closely in this argument, because Natalya loves to go on about Tumi’s hands. At the start of the confrontation, Tumi actually kept her arms folded, while Natalya’s arms were flying all over the place, in a rush to explain why she only did a “freshen up,” rather than a complete turnover of the cabins. But, as soon as Tumi’s hand left the safety of her underarm, the same accusations from Natalya came flying.

Overhearing Natalya’s screeching, Captain Sandy stepped in and told the ladies to go to the bridge. Once there, Natalya was quick in saying she could not work with Tumi. For her part, Tumi laughed and acted like a schoolchild. She quickly agreed with Sandy that her reaction was not appropriate. “Right now I’m ready to put you both off the boat,” Sandy warned. “Figure it out.”

Jessika thinks Natalya is a “mean girl”

The guests return after an “amazing” lunch. They set up dinner for 8:30 p.m. with Tumi. When she gets a moment, Jessika pulls her chief stew aside. She apologizes for stirring the pot, and clarifies she only wanted to let Natalya know what they needed to improve on in future when fixing the cabins. I’m not entirely convinced, but she does defend Tumi in confessional. She says that Natalya is a “mean girl,” who reminds her of the days when she was bullied in school.

Fortunately, Tumi is someone who can put emotions aside for work. After trying – and failing – to speak to Natalya, she recalls a story in confessional about a show she was a part of in her younger years. Moments before taking to the stage, Tumi’s mother told her that her father had been shot dead. She still went on stage and put on a two-hour performance, using the interval to cry. She’s a warrior of a woman.

Jessika speaks to Kyle about Natalya, and he agrees that she can be a “mean girl.” He warns, “That’s one bitch you don’t wanna cross paths with.” He seems to be looking out for Jessika, but there’s always an ulterior motive with Kyle…

Tumi vs Natalya: Round 10

Jack’s having a nightmare with the vegan guest. She doesn’t like her dinner, and has “high standards.” So, as someone with high standards does, she asks for fried tofu and fries. That’s easy enough to cook, but when it’s presented, she says she wanted it deep-fried in breadcrumbs. This results in Jack being called to the guests. He then throws Tumi under the bus for not clarifying deep-fried. As a fellow Brit, I just think there’s another language barrier here. In the UK, something being “fried” just means you do it in a pan. It doesn’t mean it has to be in breadcrumbs or batter.

When dinner’s complete, Tumi asks Natalya – again – if they can talk. She rejects the offer and says they can discuss their working relationship in the morning. When the morning comes, however, Natalya is again looking for a fight.

Tumi goes in with compliments, and says the two may be “too similar.” Natalya scolds her for not coming onto the yacht “appreciative,” despite Tumi telling her she had done an exceptional job. They both accuse one another of not giving the other a “fair go,” and Natalya says Tumi wanted to “show your place.”

“I do not wanna be your friend,” says Natalya. If they did that, it would be “all fake BS.” She’s happy to work with her, but they won’t ever be mates.

Meanwhile, the deck team are preparing to dock, but Max is slow and Haleigh is pissed. Captani Sandy is almost left tearing her hair out. It’s the first charter with a full team, but there’s a real breakdown in communications.

Love Is Blind Season 5 Reunion Recap

The Love Is Blind reunion is here! We were down to two couples, Izzy and Stacy, and Milton and Lydia. Nick and Vanessa Lachey wondered which couple would say I do to the person they fell in love with site unseen. It was Milton and Lydia! I’m sure no one would have predicted that they would have been the only couple to get married. But the math wasn’t mathing for anyone else. 

Stacy couldn’t get over that Izzy wasn’t in her desired salary bracket, that he loved Chipotle, and he only used paper plates. She said no at the alter but seemed to want to continue the relationship. Izzy wanted someone to love him the way he loved her and decided to walk away. So, did the two remain broken up? Are Milton and Lydia still going strong? Let’s grab the popcorn and find out! Here’s everything that went down at the Love Is Blind Season 5 reunion.

Izzy & Stacy

At first, Izzy and Stacy looked pretty cozy on the couch together. However, the two admitted soon after they were no longer together and were just best bros. Stacy said after the wedding they didn’t talk for a week. Then they went on a date and she wasn’t feeling it. Izzy was shocked. Dude, she said no to you at the alter! So, he walked out on her again.

Cut to a year later and five credit score points higher. Stacy and Izzy ran into each other at a bar in Houston. They kissed but still didn’t get back together. Izzy cursed his bad credit over a Tito’s and soda. They also randomly ran into each other with their dates at a cooking class, and then were all paired up to make paella. If that’s not a scene in a rom com then I don’t know what is. Stacy was mum on her relationship status, but Izzy does have a girlfriend who he was going to take on vacation. But would he fly her first class?

Milton & Lydia

Lydia and Milton practically sat on top of each other, so instantly we knew the two were still happily married. Milton had now put his wife first, and no longer worked late nights. He was home by 5:30 on the dot. Good man! He also promised to wash the dishes, and pick up his clothes up off the floor every other solar eclipse. Lydia shared she was besties with Milton’s mom, and she and Milton couldn’t be happier.

Milton did spill the tea about Uche and how he didn’t pass the sniff test. All that drama Uche caused at the party did not change his opinion on Lydia whatsoever. Milton didn’t appreciate Uche pressing him for information about Lydia in the pods, or continually texting him after the show. He believed his wife to be a stand up person with no dirty hands in the matter. However, Aaliyah felt otherwise. 

Uche & Aaliyah

Aaliyah showed up and looked stunning. She got right to it, and told Lydia she didn’t get to have the Love Is Blind experience because Lydia didn’t respect her boundaries. Did she plan to be there with Uche? Lydia claimed she only mentioned seeing an ad for casting to Uche. She and Uche were told by producers not to talk about their past relationship, but when it came out it was a relief for her. Lydia admitted she didn’t read the room correctly and she only had the best intentions. I’d say half that statement was true. 

Uche was invited to the reunion but declined. And no one was sad to not have him there. Aaliyah said she did date Uche afterwards, but he was not the man that she talked to in the pods. He was more like the Uche that was at the party who talked down to everyone. To me, pods Uche was no better as he judged Aaliyah incredibly harshly for cheating on her boyfriend. The good news was Aaliyah dodged that bullet, and was now with a man that treated her like a queen. 

JP & Taylor

Jared “JP” aka Captain America, explained his awkward behavior was due to having all the cameras around. But that might not have been the case because he later admitted he was put off by Taylor from the start when he saw her in all that makeup. He must carry an EpiPen for every time he walked by a Sephora. It would have been amazing if Taylor had come out in full glam just to get a reaction out of him, but alas she did not. 

Taylor felt that JP had no valid excuse for his behavior as he still didn’t talk when the cameras weren’t there and she had no makeup on. She relentlessly tried to get him to open up, and he interjected that was the problem. Taylor noted he needed to communicate to her to tell her to stop. She also didn’t appreciate felling belittled. JP gave a genuine apology and Taylor accepted. She was now seeing someone, and JP had a girlfriend. Let’s just hope she never has a zit and has to use concealer to cover it up. The horror!

Chris & Johnie

In unsurprising news, Johnie and Chris weren’t together anymore. Being someone’s second choice doesn’t make for a good foundation in a relationship. What was surprising however, was Chris going MIA on Johnie, and getting another girlfriend without ever telling her. Chris just evaporated his wholesome image in a millisecond. After the party, Chris went to a wedding and Johnie never heard from him again. One of her friends found out he was dating someone else when she saw them together at a bar. Cold!

Chris admitted one of his faults was avoiding conflict. At least send her a text! Shortly after their break up, Johnie and Izzy had tried to make a go of it as well. But after a kiss the two decided they were better off as friends. Izzy did apologize to Johnie for his behavior at the party, and to Chris for kissing Johnie. But all’s well that ends well, and Johnie has a new boyfriend, with Chris in a relationship, too.

At the very end, Nick and Vanessa had everyone write down who they would hit on if they saw them at a bar. Most of the group picked Chris. Then they asked what did Miriam do for work? The group knew she had a skincare line, and I hope it gets boosted from the show because she was hilarious. And with that we wrapped another season! Congrats to Milton and Lydia, and we’ll see next time if anymore couples prove that love is truly blind.
