Usually, the Real Housewives of New York ladies bring a lot to the table. However, there really haven’t been any storylines other than Dorinda Medley picking on Tinsley Mortimer (who left halfway through the season). Oh, and the alcohol consumption… all of the alcohol consumption.
One person who’s not partying as hard as the rest of them is Elyse Slaine, a voice of reason/the only cast member who can actually remember what happened the night before. However, she will not be at the reunion taping… even though it’s probably gonna be a virtual reunion taping, which should be super easy for her to be a part of logistically.
A Bravo fan account tweeted, “Word is as of now Elyse won’t be at the reunion and Ramona [Singer] doesn’t want her there.” If anything Ramona not wanting Elyse around is a perfectly good reason to have Elyse there. Plus, we can clear up all those poop-related accusations about Ramona.
When Elyse was asked, “As of now, are you attending the reunion and is Ramona having a fit about you possibly being there,” she responded, “I won’t be at the reunion.” Well, we don’t know when they’re filming the reunion, so maybe that will change.
Then again, other than Tinsley confronting Dorinda, at this point, I can’t even think of anything worth talking about at this reunion since pretty much nothing has happened this entire season. Maybe it picks up? I sure hope it does, anyway.

During last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville told Teddi Mellencamp and Kyle Richards that Denise Richards is “not who she pretends to be.” She also told them about her “alleged” hookup with Denise.
Brandi also claimed that Denise made some remarks about Teddi living in her dad’s shadow, which was apparently super offensive, but we all know Teddi wouldn’t be on this show if her dad wasn’t John Mellencamp.
After the episode, Teddi shared a screenshot of a text message conversation with her father, writing, “Got my sense of humor from my dad’s shadow.”
In th conversation itself, John Mellencamp wrote, “I know you are busy living in my shadow but…Dennis Richards- never heard of him….” In response, Teddi texted, “You know who DENISE is dad. She is the girl who mentions Charlie Sheen every episode.” And we all see Teddi as the girl who talks about “accountability” and her love of Kyle every episode.
Denise took a screenshot of Teddi’s post and wrote, “Grown ass woman stooping to that level… sorry…” along with a laughing emoji.
Then, Denise claimed, “I never said you live in your dad’s shadow. Ever. I don’t care what you were told.”
Denise concluded, “I was hurt you felt the need to share a salacious untrue rumor about my marriage, especially given you are the daughter of a famous father & know what the potential impact could’ve been with my kids & family. That is all I have ever said about your family.
Aka (Dennis).”
Then, Teddi commented on Denise’s Instagram post. According to a screenshot shared by Comments by Bravo, Teddi replied, “You’re Denise Fucking Richards but you sure can’t take a joke. But since we are doing this, you brought Brandi back in by sharing personal information with her. Not me.” No, Brandi brought herself back by sharing information that Denise allegedly shared with her. And Teddi’s friend Kyle had Brandi film at her home two different times this season.
Teddi added, “You also confirmed that you said way worse things sabout me than living in my Dad’s shadow. Enough with this victim routine Denise.” Shots fired.

For the first few seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Ashlee Holmes was Ashley Holmes, Jacqueline Laurita’s bratty teen daughter. Yes, she actually legally changed her name from “Ashley” to “Ashlee.”
During Jacqueline’s final season on the show, Ashlee got engaged to Pete Malleo (and got upset by the editing of that special moment). She also announced that she was pregnant with her son Cameron, who will be 4 years old soon. She got married back in 2018, and now, after nearly two years of marriage, Ashlee announced that they’ve decided to divorce.
People shared a screenshot of Ashlee’s Instagram Story where she broke the news of the separation. The former RHONJ kid wrote, “I’ve been trying to find the right words to share this news.” She admitted, “It’s something that has been weighing pretty heavy on my heart, and I feel that it’s best for my healing process to just put it out there.”
She acknowledged, “A lot of you have sent me so many messages over the last few months. Some of you have even left comments on certain posts of mine with speculation. I’ve always been an incredibly open and honest person. Although no one is entitled to the details of my private life, I have always chosen to share them with you,” which has benefitted her financially.
Ashlee shared, “Those of you who follow my husband Pete and I on social media have naturally become invested in our lives over the years. That being said, Pete and I have decided to separate.”
She admitted, “This was a difficult decision for us. We intend to always be in each other’s lives, and continue to support one another as we grow as parents to our son Cameron, who we both love more than anything.”

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams has been busy lately. Porsha is holding a peach, working for DISH Nation, and is a mother. She has been on the front lines of the Black Lives Matter movement, protesting social injustice.
Of course, civil rights activist Reverend Hosea Williams is Porsha’s grandfather, and she even attended protests with him. On July 14, Porsha was in Louisville, Kentucky protesting the death of Breonna Taylor.
Now Porsha is ready to spill all the tea about her life, and I am here for it! In a July 21 statement to People, Porsha announced that she is writing a book, titled The Pursuit of Porsha. The book is scheduled to be published in September of 2021 by an imprint of Hachette Book Group called Worthy Publishing.
“Putting yourself out there in these times can be both a blessing and curse. I want to share the real me and my story here, including both my trials as well as my many blessings,” Porsha said in the statement.
She added, “I am more than a soundbite or a headline or a rumor. I’m a strong Black woman who has triumphed over adversity and owned every single one of my mistakes. My story is a journey of passion, faith, and discovery.”
Last season on RHOA, viewers watched Porsha struggle with forgiving her fiancé, Hotdog King Dennis McKinley, for letting his hotdog roam cheating on her while she was pregnant. She gave birth to her beloved daughter, named Pilar Jhena, on March 22, 2019. The couple broke up, but Dennis later admitted to the affair, apologized, and proposed again.
Porsha wants her book to give hope to others who are going through a dark time, and help them find the strength to heal.

Season 3 of Love After Lockup is finally here! And with a new crop of suckers!! If you’re not watching this show, I cannot recommend it enough. It airs on Friday nights, and really, what are you doing during a pandemic on a Friday anyways? This mess is well worth the cable package upgrade, downloading the app, or doing whatever it is you need to do to get the WEtv channel in your home. And if you’re already watching, don’t forget about the follow-up series, Life After Lockup. These shows taught me about love, patience, and how to use graphite pencils as eyeliner (thanks, Tracie Wagaman).
If you aren’t new to the show, then there’s no way you’ve forgotten about the torrid love between Lizzie Kommes and Scott Davey. This relationship was on and off for a while. After her release Lizzie wasted no time in helping Scott update his look with a new hair style and some new teeth. Their romance eventually cracked beyond repair, pun intended, when Lizzie found a very illicit looking spork in Scott’s home. Can’t make that shit up. Lucky for Lizzie, time heals all wounds…
In a recent Instagram post Lizzie shared a new boo and new ring with her followers. A lot of thoughts rushed to my mind when I saw this post. First, this dude looks a LOT like made-over-Scott….which…..is a choice. Second, a ring! But stress minor. The ring is on her right hand. Whew! We wouldn’t want the woman who made over $800,000 writing letters in prison to rush into anything! Keep your options open girl!
Lizzie’s caption for the post reads, “Introducing my new boyfriend Brian.. promise ring everybody not engagement.” Oh, thank goodness. I’m sure anyone who watched Lizzie on the show might be terrified to propose marriage. This new guy may have watched and learned. When Scott asked for Lizzie’s hand in marriage on a California beach she refused.
Then, viewers watched him hurl the entire ring and box into the Pacific Ocean. Fortunately, this was on the much more scripted Life After Lockup version of the show. The ring was quickly recovered by Lizzie when she ran into the ocean with her buttcrack out like some weird version of Baywatch.
The caption ends with the hashtags “#love #happiness #bliss #iminlove #bestlife #promiserings” and is location tagged as “Random Lake, Wisconsin.” Yes. That’s a real place. I checked. I actually hail from Wisconsin but apparently, that place is so random even I had no idea. I wouldn’t expect anything less from this true enigma of a woman.

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks has always been a polarizing figure on the show. She was an attorney and also became a licensed mortician and funeral director. The mother of two divorced her husband, Apollo Nida, after he landed back in prison.
But she spread a vicious lie that RHOA stars Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanted to allegedly drug and rape Porsha Williams. So, Phaedra and all her southern shadiness were dismissed, and she lost her peach.
Phaedra and her new boyfriend, rapper Medina Islam, recently joined the cast of Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition. Phaedra told HollywoodLife that the couple hasn’t been intimate yet. Really, Phaedra? This reminds me of when you joined RHOA and didn’t know your due date for your first pregnancy–all to hide the fact that you conceived before your wedding.
Recently, Phaedra helped direct the funeral services for Rayshard Brooks. USA Today reported that on June 12, Brooks was shot and killed by police in a Wendy’s parking lot near downtown Atlanta.
In an interview via video with Entertainment Tonight, Phaedra discussed her feelings about the service. She said, “That was a very heavy moment, but I was happy to serve the family, happy to have moments with his beautiful wife, his beautiful children and, just to be present. It’s just very heartbreaking to know there are now four young children that are… without their dad,” the former RHOA star stated.

Now Phaedra has made some comments about the Covid-19 crises that are, in my opinion, inexcusable. Page Six reported that during an interview with Phaedra on it’s podcast, We Hear, she gave an update on her funeral business. “Oh my gosh, it’s going great, didn’t you hear about that pandemic, girl? We are booming,” Phaedra stated. “Unfortunately. We have been jam-packed since the pandemic started.”
Phaedra continued to make more tone-deaf comments. “I’m not a physician, however, I do have a mortuary and I’ll tell you this: Normally in the summer months, we’re waiting for a boating accident or a motorcycle crash, because otherwise, we’re pretty empty. We are jam-packed,” Phaedra shared. “We are working like it’s our heaviest season, so… I tell people when they say, ‘It’s a joke, it’s not that big of a deal,’ well, let me put it to you in real terms, I’m getting 17 calls a day for pickups and that’s at one location. Last week, all of the people were under 59.”
Those numbers are scary, but so is Phaedra’s blasé attitude. She commented that she has seen many people in their 20’s die from coronavirus.
“It makes it extremely frightening… I’ve seen several mothers come in burying their children. The pandemic really wreaks havoc on families, so we’ve buried three or four people in one immediate family,” the RHOA alum said.
Phaedra added, “It’s really sad. It definitely takes a toll on you emotionally seeing a mother, a father, a son, an aunt… this pandemic is really serious, and people should realize that, because it’s not a joke.”
Well, we can all take a deep breath and stop worrying about the pandemic. Business is “booming” for Phaedra, so isn’t that all that matters?

Excitement is in the air and emotions run high as the wedding day begins for eight hopeful singles. One bride discovers her groom’s identity, before she walks down the aisle. The chemistry heats up for some participants. From the looks of things, this season is definitely going to be interesting.
I have been to many weddings in my day. The movie 27 dresses may have actually been written about me many years ago. But last night’s episode of Married At First Sight contained one of strangest weddings I have ever witnessed. I celebrate individuality, but you cannot leave something like that on a cliff hanger. I literally was sitting on the edge of my seat staring in wonderment. Let’s get straight into the recap!
Karen is on the verge of fainting. She doesn’t know whether to run or just get this over with. I feel so bad for Miles, he has no idea his fiancé has already labeled him as “not her type.” After receiving an accidental text from production, Karen stalked his social media to glean as much info as possible. Once she his videos on social media, she thinks he is too sensitive for her. It’s really true nice guys, do finish last with some women. I’d rather marry someone in touch with their emotions, than a jerk. After meeting at the altar, its obvious Miles just wants to make his wife comfortable. It doesn’t seem to work because Karen starts crying uncontrollably like she is being held at gunpoint. Ugh… there is always one every season.
There isn’t a dry eye in the house while Miles delivers his vows. Karen manages to pull herself together quickly and finishes the ceremony without further incident. When the two have a moment alone, she eventually admits that she had a head start in getting to know him. But she fails to mention that she also had a meltdown, just moments before walking down the aisle. Thankfully his chivalrous, laid back nature puts her more at ease. The wedding photos are a bit awkward, which is to be expected. They literally just met and have to give the appearance of a happy couple. During her reception, Karen is finally able to relax and have fun. Hopefully she continues to let her guard down and gives Miles a real chance.
The next couple to walk down the aisle is Olivia and Brett. Sigh! She seems like too nice of woman to marry this loser. Brett is already the show villain after just one episode. Olivia sends a sweet gift to her groom, before the wedding. She named a star “leap of faith” in honor of their marriage. Meanwhile, Brett and his friends laugh about his new wife needing to be able to deal with them picking on people constantly. What were the experts thinking? The red flags are furiously waving in the wind. Everyone seems pleasantly surprised when they see Brett walk down the aisle. Little do they know, who poor Olivia is about to marry. I really hope Brett went to sleep and morphed into a mature adult. I doubt it, but one can only hope. Olivia looks beautiful as she walks down the aisle. There is so much hope in those eyes, too bad it may be gone very soon. His family literally warns her he is loud, sarcastic and has no filter. After the wedding, Olivia is literally shivering outside while they get to know one another. Brett doesn’t even offer his jacket, despite acknowledging she looked cold. But they manage to bond over their shared love of cats. Brett is clearly extremely uncomfortable, but reveals in a post interview his new wife is definitely his type.
Amani and Woody are the third couple to jump the broom. He is in good spirits and excited to finally meet his wife. The jury is still out on this guy. I can’t tell if he is serious about this experiment or not. Amani hopes her husband isn’t “too much.” Unfortunately, I think that may be just who she is getting based on his personality and clothing choices. Amani has suffered several heart breaks and hopes this relationship will prove to be different. As Amani prepares to walk down the aisle, the reality of the situation finally hits her. I love how supportive her family and friends have been throughout the process. On a side note, who did Amani’s makeup? She is a beautiful woman, but they managed to make her look older. When we were first introduced to her, she looked young and fresh. Despite, the makeup these two still make a handsome couple. The ceremony was very sweet combined with a few laughs thanks to Woody.
When Amani and Woody get a moment to themselves they are able to talk and laugh easily. They are both are attracted to one another and seem to balance each other’s personalities. There is definitely some chemistry during the wedding photos and reception. Amani’s male best friend gives a loving toast and some helpful hints for the future. Woody’s cousin brings him to tears with his heartfelt speech. Okay Woody, I may have to change my opinion on you. This couple may have just went up a notch on my likability scale.
Amelia and Bennett are hands down one of the most interesting couples that have ever been on this show. Amelia looks completely different from the woman we initially met on her wedding day. I actually think if any man will appreciate her “bird nest” chic style it could be Bennett. Before the ceremony, he has a pebble he found in Mississippi delivered to his bride who gushes over the unique gift. Insert side eye here. Meanwhile, Bennett tells his groomsmen he is most excited to be intimate with a woman after a six month hiatus. Cue his mother who is just as interesting as her son. She immediately goes into mommy mode lecturing him about his messy hair and dirty tube socks. Sadly, everything she said was true. Production, you guys couldn’t get this man some dress socks? Then she stares intensely at him while talking loudly about how strange it is that her son will be married soon. I don’t know how the experts found two people that are just as amazingly odd. This match just might work out.
In one of the weirdest displays I have ever seen, three laughing veiled bridesmaids unicycle down the aisle. Umm… okay, that’s different. When Amelia walks down the aisle, Bennett and some of his friends seem genuinely shocked. Who can blame him, the woman looks like natures version of Carrie minus the pig’s blood. Uh, oh! Apparently, these two have met before. I don’t know if that is a good thing or not. I’m guessing it’s not, from the look on poor Bennett’s face. Amelia on the other hand seems to be completely on another planet. I can’t wait to find out this backstory. I need to know how these two know each other and what that means for their marriage.
