Captain Lee Disappointed In Most Of His Season Four Below Deck Crew
Season four of Below Deck sailed into the sunset this week; thus we are left with Captain Lee Rosbach’s final searing blog in its wake. Though a fair amount of drama happened throughout filming, Lee reflects that his crew didn’t seem to learn a whole lot from it. But he sure did.
“From a captain’s point of view, I learned a lot,” writes Lee. “For instance, I found out that no matter how well you feel you know your crew and how they will behave in a given set of circumstances, you really don’t know them as well as you thought you did. People I thought were loyal weren’t and some who I thought weren’t turned out to surprise me. I’m not going to get into names or specifics here, but I really was not all that pleased with our overall performance this season. And for that I must bear responsibility.”
CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!
Captain Lee accuses his crew of spending too much energy on their personal lives rather than their professional duties, a theme that emerged pretty much every week.
Beginning with his assessment of Sierra Storm, Captain Lee doesn’t pull ANY punches. “I’m not quite sure if you grasp this concept: Just because you think you have done a great job, doesn’t mean that you really have done one. As they say, perception is reality, but not in this case. For the most part I thought you came across as condescending and put out that someone actually expected you to work and do your job. Not only do it, but also do it well. You couldn’t keep your radio with you, much less answer it, you left a very hot roller iron on, not once but twice, burned the 1,200 thread count sheets for the second time, thought the guests wouldn’t need toilet paper, and shall we say that your coffee and drink service left a bit to be desired. I would think that another line of work would be in order for you, as yachting is not where we hand out participation trophies. You have to do more than just show up.”
As for the many faces of Kyle Dixon, Captain Lee has absolutely no patience – or forgiveness! Though Kyle’s work ethic was technically up to snuff, Lee calls the deckhand out on his sketchy “character issues.” He writes, “I don’t know how you thought early on that Sierra could be ‘the one’ for you, and then after she shuts you down, just a…how did you put it? A waste of skin? I thought that the way you talked to her and treated her after striking out was deplorable and uncalled for. Using the fact that you’re from Manchester is not an excuse for rude behavior. Somehow I feel that you would not have spoken that way if I was present, and if you had, there would have been a steep price to pay for it.”
“You weren’t as honest as you thought yourself to be as far as I can see,” continues Lee to Kyle. “You weren’t honest with Sierra, you weren’t honest with Ashley until you had to be, and to me, you are either an honest person or you’re not. Oh and let’s not forget about the mother of your child either.” YESSSS!!!
Though Emily Warburton-Adam was also a decent employee, Captain Lee thinks she let her romance with Ben Robinson cloud her judgment and performance at times. “One thing that bothered me though was how you kept telling Ben you didn’t want to get in the middle of him and Kate [Chastain], but you still did. Like when Ben wanted verification that he was making the right call not putting all the food out for the guests, going against the recommendation of Kate, you jumped in and said that you didn’t want to get in the middle but then agreed with Ben. Seems to me you inserted yourself smack in the middle.”
“My opinion is you should have stayed out of it and Ben should have listened,” says Lee, who adds that Emily also shouldn’t have appeared so smug at the crew’s final dinner after Ben treated Kate like such dog sh*t. “And was that a look of satisfaction I saw on your face when Ben was being rude to Kate? I did not think that was a very good look for Ben at all.”
RELATED: Kate Chastain Has A Book Coming Out
On to Ben! Though Captain Lee is a fan of Ben’s food and his general work performance, he thinks Ben’s infatuation with Emily muddied the waters. “I do think work and balancing a relationship was too much on your plate. I think both suffered because of the existence of the other.”
“However, I really wasn’t all that pleased with the morale between you and Kate. You fought with her on everything this year,” continues Lee. “Really would have liked to see the galley run better this year from a morale standpoint. I mean to have the guests comment on the yelling going on was embarrassing as hell. Not the professionalism I expect. But in the end as I stated, your food production and presentation never suffered, and so neither did the guests, which ultimately is what we are there for. It just could have been so much easier though I feel. I would also expect you to keep your knickers on as well in the future.”
Captain Lee was not, however, pleased in the least with frick and frack – er – Nico Scholly and Lauren Burchnell, both of whom somehow managed to devolve into foot-stomping toddlers by the end of their six week stint aboard Valor.
“I just was amazed at how little respect either one of you showed to a person of higher rank than you. At least Kate had the courage to confront you to your face, and not behind your back, like you both seem to do on a regular basis. Nico, where do you get off just stomping off and then going to talk smack behind her back immediately? Not a good look for you and certainly not the mature behavior that I would expect from you. It’s exactly how someone behaves when they are wrong. You acted like the kid that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.”
“Lauren, as far as I can see the only thing working really hard on you was your mouth and your ability to talk about other people behind their backs. Kelley [Johnson] called you out on it a couple of weeks ago when you were telling everyone that he got demoted and Nico was promoted to Bosun, and then you got called out by Kate as well for making another assumption that wasn’t true and spreading it through the crew. I hope this was a learning experience for you and I wish you good luck in the future.”
Speaking of Kelley, Captain Lee comments on this first-time bosun’s overall improvement this year. He blogs, “You and Nico worked well together, you gave him added responsibility and he stepped up his game. Well done, both of you. I can see so much progress between now and Season 2…not to say we didn’t have some speed bumps this season. It’s the way you didn’t shy away from owning your mistakes that I feel made the difference. You took ownership of what you did wrong and then took steps to correct it. You have really come a long way, sir, and as I said in the wheelhouse, I would gladly work with you again. Keep moving in the direction you are and you will have a long and great career.”
Finally, it’s no secret that Captain Lee has a major soft spot for Kate, who he admits didn’t need micromanaging at all this season (thus, his love for her, perhaps!). Lee reflects, “You know what I want and the level I want things, and you get it done. As I stated with Ben, wish things had been different on that front, but except for the one yelling incident, I thought you dealt with it well. Your girls lost it a wee bit at the end of the last charter, but you stepped in and got it straight. I thought you had another good season and it was good to work with you again. I hope we can work together again soon.”

Lisa Rinna Says It’s Time To Move On; Is Ready For A New Chapter On RHOBH
Lisa Rinna is back for another season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. There wasn’t much drama amongst the cast on the season premiere, so Lisa’s first blog of season seven is fairly tame. “It’s crazy to me to think that I’m back in the thick of it for a third year now.”
Lisa reiterated that her father’s death has changed her outlook on life, adding, “I really have a new outlook on priorities and what’s important for not just me, but for my family. Seeing the flashback of my Dad took me by surprise – the pain is still there. Watching that clip reminded me yet again that life is too short and what I really want is love, happiness, laughter, and family to be the priority.”

“I just don’t want to focus on anything that’s not positive anymore,” stated Lisa. “It is time to move on from anything petty and unimportant in the grand scheme of life. Time to move on and move through.”
Lisa went on to gush over her longtime friend, fellow soap opera star, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Eileen Davidson.
“I am always so impressed and amazed by my dear friend Eileen,” Lisa Rinna blogged. “The strength that she encompasses and shares with the rest of us is nothing short of admirable.” I will give her that. I mean, it did take great strength to demand 828 perfect apologies from Lisa Vanderpump last season.
“Erika was right when she said it speaks volumes about Eileen to not share the passing of her mother right before the reunion last year, yet make a decision to push through and be so solid and clear and concise that day,” added Lisa. “Yet another character trait that I admire in Eileen.”
Lisa described Erika‘s birthday party as “too much fun” and worked in a little joke about her “dated” hairstyle.
RELATED: There’s Still Drama Between Lisa Rinna And Kim Richards?
“Since I have been to Studio 54, I knew I wanted to go all out for her party and of course, as you know, my 20-year old hairstyle isn’t really Studio 54-esque, so I pulled out that long, glam wig. I absolutely loved being there when Eileen gave Erika her birthday gift,” shared Lisa. “The sheer joy on Erika’s face when she was offered a part on Y&R was priceless! I’m so excited to see what kind of role she plays. It was also so sweet when Erika’s mom showed up to the party. What a fun and fabulous surprise this was for her. Thank God that glorious cake showed up shortly after. Let me tell you, it was definitely edible and as we all know, I NEVER pass up a piece of cake. Delish!”
Lisa didn’t have too much to say about newbie Dorit Kemsley and her husband PK, only that they seem like “lovely people” and she looks forward to getting to know them better.
“I feel good about how things are starting around here. You know things are headed in the right direction when we reunite at a disco and discuss big balls,” joked Lisa. “New chapter. End of story. Time to move on.”
Time to move on, huh? At least until Kim Richards enters the fray.

Heather Dubrow Still Surprised By RHOC Reunion; Says Vicki Gunvalson Will Never Go Away
Well, Real Housewives Of Orange County season 11 may have come and gone, but the drama is still going down. At least for Heather Dubrow who doesn’t believe the cast can ever come back from the acrimonious screaming match that was the vitriol-filled reunion.
Does this mean a recast is in order? Please Say Yes… Please Say Yes…
“I thought it was odd,” Heather shares, shaking her head, perplexed, to show off her new chin-length bob (which I love, by the way).
CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!
“There were a couple of people who were really smug, that really just couldn’t make amends, and couldn’t own up to anything and just felt like they had been wronged,” she elaborates. “Some of that was very ugly.”
Heather says the reunion was “shocking,” explaining, “I thought I knew how the reunion was gonna go, and it didn’t go exactly how I thought.” Just so you know, Heather thinks thoughts. Deep ones. Lots of them. You can hear all about them on her podcast.
Heather is definitely shocked that the fighting hasn’t abated once the cameras stopped rolling.
“Right after the reunion I would have said, ‘Time will heal things, let’s see how everyone comes back together.’ But honestly, I’m not sure,” Heather claims. “The stuff that’s been going back and forth – it’s crazy!”
“If they asked me back, I would assume I would probably say yes,” Heather considers. “My knee-jerk reaction [is] I want to come back, yes. I would absolutely love to come back for season 12. But I have to say, given the climate of what’s going on with the cast, I would probably have to think about it.”
“It’s the off-season shenanigans that are going on make me a little uncomfortable,” acknowledges Heather. That and the whole situation with Vicki Gunvalson that is.
RELATED: Tamra Slams Kelly Dodd As A Cheater & Denies Stalking Her
“Vicki is like… you know that character in the horror movie that you keep killing and they keep getting up?” Heather laughs. But getting serious, she adds, “Vicki just keeps coming back. She just keeps coming back.”
“I don’t even know where I am with Vicki,” Heather admits to ET. “We are not close friends. We are really nice acquaintances. We have fun when we are together. We are respectful of each other, and that’s it.”
In fact, the general consensus on who is returning “fluctuates every day” according to Heather.
Heather has her doubts that Shannon and Vicki will ever be able to move on. “I feel like it took a lot for Shannon to open up the door to be friends with Vicki again this year, and then after all the allegations and everything? I just don’t know, and I’m not sure I could either if I were in her shoes. Stranger things have happened.”
“I’m really grateful for everything that Housewives has given me,” Heather concludes. “Terry and I have been so lucky, and we’re blessed, and we owe all of it to being on The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
Just for the record, Andy Cohen recently stated that a RHOC without Vicki is not in the cards. On the future for season 12, he admitted “We’re figuring it out right now.” Andy’s expression hinted that there was much drama about Vicki‘s participation! Ladies… quit trying to stage a mutiny.

Joe Giudice Writes 17th Wedding Anniversary Song For Teresa Giudice – John Legend Performs It On WWHL
Since he’s spending Christmas in the slammer, Joe Giudice decided to give Teresa Giudice a gift that was not purchased at the prison commissary – he wrote a song to celebrate their 17 years of marriage together.
The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star dreamed of John Legend crooning his love song and surprising Teresa with it while he was behind bars. Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen-X Episode 13 Recap: Better Safe Than Sorry
Two more have fallen and the table has now been set for next week’s two-hour Survivor finale. Yes, unlucky Episode 13 spelled the end for two of the remaining eight players vying for the million and the title of Sole Survivor. It was a bit of a rushed episode, but heck, that’s going to happen when you cram two Tribal Councils into one hour. And this group of players is so focused, so “in the game” that there is little in the way of unnecessary drama down the stretch thus far, as each player tries to carve out their own end-game with surgical precision.
Let’s walk through what went down, but first by law I must warn you of potential spoilers, should you not have seen the episode (and if you didn’t, then what are you doing reading a recap? I mean, I appreciate it and all, but go watch the episode and then come back here, silly!)
CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE, AND THIS IS YOUR LAST *SPOILER* WARNING!
So while many of you might be dreaming of shopping sprees, X-Boxes, toys, or other goodies this Christmas, the best thing Santa can bring this Survivor fan would be the gift of a Final Three consisting of David, Jay, and Adam. Nothing against Bret, Hannah, or Ken, the other three remaining players, but if you take a step back and look at this season as a whole, doesn’t it HAVE to come down to David, Jay, or Adam as the game’s winner?
Now, I am RARELY accurate with bold predictions, but I had wrote after the premiere episode that Adam seemed to get the “winner’s edit” right out of the gate, and his story has been an emotional one. Playing for the love of his mom, Adam has played a bold game that has been far from perfect, but it’s been hard-fought. Jay, too, has been on the losing side of many battles, but by dominating physical challenges down the stretch, he’s put himself in the mix to win this whole thing. And that’s not to disregard Jay’s social game, which has been strong too from the get-go.
Then there is David, who as Adam said it best, has transformed before all of our eyes. He has been out in front the entire game, has played loudly and aggressively and despite the fact that everybody thinks he can win the game and is a major threat, he remains standing at final six. Yes, in different ways, all three of these guys would be satisfying, deserving winners of a season that was unpredictable, fast-paced, and imperfect, but wholly entertaining…which is the same that can be said of this group of players.
Now if Bret, Hannah, or Ken were to win? The good news is that these three are all likable in their own ways. And to call them “likable” isn’t to dismiss their game-play, it’s just that they haven’t been as sharp or as impactful as the previous three I’ve mentioned. Bret has had his own journey, and had one of the best moments of the season when he came out as gay to Zeke at a Reward Challenge.
Hannah has been fun to watch…OK, frustrating to watch at times, but she’s been a great character on the show and finally made a big strategic move this past episode (more on that later).
Then there is Ken, who seems to be such a good, genuine guy that I don’t think many fans would complain if Ken became a millionaire. He has shown to be not as savvy as other players when it comes to strategy, but everybody seems to like Ken, and he’s still kicking, which must say a lot about his social game. Yes no one would complain too hard if Bret, Hannah, or Ken were to win, but I feel like there would be an air of disappointment as to the finish of this season if that were to actually happen.
Of course, that brings us to tonight’s episode, and the two that were left out: Will and Sunday. Poor Will’s inexperience and age was bound to shine through at some point, but at least Will had a big, memorable moment last week when he flipped the game and blindsided Zeke. Will was getting cocky and thought he was running the show, which as we know as viewers is almost always the kiss of death. Producers just can’t wait for someone to make the comment “I’m running this game” or “I feel very comfortable right now” and they almost always are sure to include these comments in the episodes. The pride before the fall.
Will is an example of what has been known as “playing the game too hard,” but Sunday‘s game might be the opposite. Sunday, as I’ve mentioned here before, is a very cunning player who really just suffered from being on a season with way too many larger personalities. We never really got to know Sunday, but she had her moments as well, like tricking Hannah at Tribal Council a few episodes back. You could just tell by Sunday’s lack of air-time though all season long, that she was not going to factor into things too heavily in the end…and she didn’t. But of the eight remaining players heading into tonight’s episode, if I had to rank them in order of deserving winners, Sunday and Will would have been seventh and eighth, so it was only right that they were the two that were shed first.
Of course the big “two Tribal Council” episode began in the wake of the Zeke #blindside. Bret, who was reeling, was still playing hard. He approached Adam and convinced him that the next three that need to leave were Jay, Will, and David. I loved this opening scene because here is Bret, who again would probably rank “sixth” out of the six remaining players as far as who is playing a good game, here he is fighting to the very end. It’s as if the cast this season finally understands the separation between Survivor “business” and what’s personal. Oh, you lied and blindsided me? No worries, how can we help each other today? This, my friends, is what fans have been clamoring for for a long time. And my ultimate hope is that this business-like crew turns into the rarest of Survivor rarities: An un-bitter jury. This crew really seems capable of crowning a deserving winner.
The other big development tonight, of course, was that Jay was forced to play his Idol, which ended up being unnecessary. The scene between Adam and Jay – #yinyang – was the culmination of what this season has stood for. Here are two mortal enemies in the game, who actually like and respect each other as people and have way more in common than they even knew. In Survivor seasons’ past, a player having an emotional moment describing his mother’s illness would have been met with jeers, and a stink-eye…like, what are trying to do, gain some sympathy votes? It would have been seen as solely strategic. I don’t think that was what was happening here. Jay framed a comment as if Jay needs this win more than Adam, and Adam responded by sharing what was on his mind. It was a real emotional moment, and instead of reacting strategically, Jay shared in the emotion. It was Brutus if he were to have tried to explain to Caesar why he just stabbed him in the back. Adam needed Jay to play his Idol, period. Jay understood, and respected Adam for his forwardness. Game on.
With Jay winning the episode’s first Immunity Challenge, it was Ken who won the second, but he was helped by Adam who just knew that Jay couldn’t be allowed to win. And for those keeping score at home, here was one more knock on the studly Ken…the dude might not know how to spell, as it took him quite a time to get “millennial” right. Even Probst gave him a “Celebrity Jeopardy”-level-of-difficulty hint, by saying, “They are who you have been playing with this whole season.” Ken finally laughed at his own inability, pointing out that apparently after 35 days of starvation, one just simply forgets how to spell. Fair point!
Elsewhere this episode, Hannah was quietly in a power position for both Tribals, although she might not even have realized it. For the first vote, Hannah ultimately decided to vote out Will over David, since David had just used an Idol on her and they have been aligned for quite some time now. Then, it was Hannah’s plan to vote out Sunday and break-up her alliance with Bret. Although David is a major, major threat, he is all alone in the game, but the two-some of Bret and Sunday would grow all the more powerful the longer they were to be left in the game. David, not being good at challenges, could be sent home later. t was a smart move, and even more impressively, her voting bloc listened to her and followed through with her plan. As she even said, and I para-phrase: “Persuasive players win Survivor.” Hannah just made the case that she shouldn’t be counted out just yet.
Everything of course worked according to plan: Jay felt threatened enough that he played and wasted the game’s last remaining Immunity Idol. Sunday was blindsided and sent home. Unless you count Ken‘s “Legacy Advantage,” which you must, we go into Finale Night with all six players on equal ground. Bret will most likely cling to Jay. Ken has already shown his undying loyalty to David. That could leave Adam and…yes…Hannah, in the power position. Is it just dawning on me now, that Hannah…gulp…could actually win this thing? Could Hannah be the one to clean-up the rest of the game, finally rid us of David and Jay, two of the game’s strongest competitors? Might Hannah be in position to turn on Adam, leaving her to sit in the Final Three along with Ken and Bret? And if that was the case, would Hannah not be the Sole Survivor? Dang! It could happen. We’ve only got to wait for one more week before this season wraps up next Wednesday to find out.
Episode Take-Away: I made a realization from the beginning of this recap to now that Hannah actually could be a threat to win this thing. Add to this that Hannah is unlikely to be the target of anyone else as there are bigger fish to fry with David and Jay still in the game. I know that I’m pumped and excited to see what happens next week, in a finale that Probst calls “one of our very best.” And as he also said tonight, “In order to win this season, you must be seen.” Sorry Ken, sorry Bret. This is a four-horse race. I for one, can’t wait to watch them come down the stretch…and here’s hoping for a photo-finish.
Strategic Move of the Week: I like Hannah‘s plea to vote out Sunday, which I feel was the smarter move not only for her game, but for the others in her voting bloc.
Voted out this week: Will and Sunday
Won Immunity: Jay and Ken
Vote #1: No Idol played. 6 – Will (David, Bret, Sunday, Hannah, Ken, Adam), 2 – David (Will, Jay).
Vote #2: Jay plays Idol on himself. 1 (voided by Idol) – Jay (Sunday), 4 – Sunday (David, Ken, Hannah, Adam), 2 – David (Bret, Jay)
Next Week’s Episode: It’s the Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen-X Finale Episode! It’s two-hours long beginning at 8pm EST, followed by the one-hour-long Live Reunion Show. Let’s hope Sia doesn’t ruin things this year. As a reminder, join me back here early Wednesday for a Preview of the Finale, where I’ll place some odds on all remaining six players. Then of course, later that night I’ll be back with my final Recap of the season, discussing how the season went down, the winner, and also talking about what we learned from the Live Reunion Show…we’ll also discuss the new inductees to the “Survivor Hall of Fame” which will be revealed next week leading up to Finale. Then to cap off this season, next Thursday I’ll post my updated “All-Time Survivor Winners” and “Most Memorable Survivor Seasons” list.
It’s been a blast recapping Survivor this season, my first as part of Reality Tea. Thanks in advance for sticking with it this season and for all of your comments! If you’ve enjoyed my writing be sure to let this site know and leave your feedback! We’ll see you back here next week!

Don’t Be Tardy Recap: Welcome, Baby Kashmere!
Don’t Be Tardy opens with just another day at the Beirmann house and Kim Zolciak Biermann having a topless photo shoot in her pool as her four year old son watches. Kim is FINALLY ready to launch her new skincare line and of course, who would be a better spokesperson than her? Don’t answer that – it was a rhetorical question.
Since Kim is hosting a bunch of people from her skincare team in L.A., she has Tracey pull out the best conch possible to feed and entertain them by the same pool she just floated topless in. Kim goes on and on about how hard she has been working on this skincare line and how it’s a huge accomplishment for her to launch it. Never mind that we haven’t seen one second of footage of her working on any of it. I’m sure Kim’s idea of hard work is much different than the masses. I’m having a hard time concentrating on anything else about this scene after catching the sight of Kroy Biermann dressed in cut off jean shorts, or jorts, if you will.

Kim isn’t the only one doing big things in the form of stuff no one cares about; Brielle announces that she got a PA job at Access Hollywood. Kim isn’t excited at all because nineteen years of mothering a mini-me sure goes by fast.
Brielle immediately decides to follow up this announcement with a request for a Range Rover because she “has an appearance to maintain.” Oh, and a $3,100 a month apartment. Kroy isn’t hearing any of this. There is no such thing as a $3,100 apartment in Montana and this jort-wearing good ole boy recognizes how insane it is for Brielle to even be asking. Sorry Brielle, but you don’t need on site dry cleaning service at your new apartment and you do have to sit on a toilet someone else has used before. That’s life, kiddo.
It’s the day of Kim’s birthday/skincare launch party and Tracey took over managing the party venue right down the street (literally) while Kim gets her face contoured and yells for Kroy to hurry up with the wine. She is worried Tracey can’t handle setting up the party but Tracey has it covered in the form of half-naked pics of Kim, birthday cake, and booze. Say no more.
At the party, Kim handles press. Brielle checks her phone while KJ adorably informs her that she should be watching him since he’s a kid. Not so adorable? When she doesn’t immediately comply, he orders her to go get him a water and then tells her to eff off. Maybe he’s just getting her used to life as a PA.
Kim and Kroy sit on white leather thrones as Brielle sings happy birthday to her and Kim gets emotional thinking about her stroke and how it has forced her to live in the moment. Then she tries to announce her new “baby” (Kashmere, the skincare line) and starts crying again. The crowd seems less than impressed with news of another reality celebrity product but claps with the hope they won’t be forced to actually buy any product.
One week after the launch of Kashmere, Kim admits she has been having some weird symptoms lately but waited two weeks to mention it to anyone. She has been SO STRESSED about the launch of Kashmere (seriously) that her stress levels are up and her cardiologist has put her on a heart monitor. Kim thinks she has taken on too much and needs a break. That makes two of us!

Asa Soltan Rahmati Writes A Self-Help Book On How To Be A Priestess: ‘Golden: Empowering Rituals to Conjure Your Inner Priestess’
Filed under ‘things that I don’t want’ is advice from Asa Soltan Rahmati on how to be a diamond-drinking, kaftan swirling, pop priestess. Well too bad because she’s just penned her first self-help book: Golden: Empowering Rituals to Conjure Your Inner Priestess anyway!
The Shahs Of Sunset star, who is also expecting her first child with boyfriend Jermaine Jackson Jr, has decided to impart all the wisdom of her ways to us poor un-golden folk. I don’t expect there will be a chapter on dealing with evil mustache twirling reality TV frenemies, do you?

“Writing this personal book was such an emotional journey for me,” Asa describes to Us Weekly. “I went through my life and revisited the hows and whys as I came up with these rituals that guided me through hardships and obstacles in my life.”
Asa’s literary journey will take us through being a teenage Iranian refugee in America to becoming a pop priestess with a love of the finer things in life, combined with all the little touches in between that make her so uniquely Asa!
“You will laugh, cry and also have a ton of fun with the rituals in this book!” Asa promises. “Most importantly, it will remind you who you really are. Get ready to start living the life you were meant to live, lover!”
Errrrr… Uhhhhh… I’ll take her word for it. But first I’d like to ask Asa what act of self-love led to the photoshopping on the cover.

Cynthia Bailey Always Believed In Peter Thomas
I think it’s safe to say that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is enjoying her single life right now. She’s got a new house, a few different businesses and a successful reality show. She weighs in this week to deny Peter Thomas‘ claims that she didn’t believe in him during their marriage and to share thoughts on the RHOA men staying tight with Apollo Nida.
Cynthia started off sharing that she wasn’t shocked to see that Peter has kept in close contact with Apollo Nida and she’s sure Apollo appreciates it. “I was not surprised to hear that Peter and Apollo kept in touch. I knew that they were in regular communication with each other, but I did not know how frequently they spoke. Apollo, Todd, and Peter are friends. Under the unfortunate circumstances, I would imagine that their friendship and support means the world to him.”
Cynthia has no regrets about the support she gave to Peter. She can rest easy knowing she gave him plenty of examples of how she believed in him. “I always believed in Peter, and I still do. He is the reason I relocated from New York City to Atlanta. Throughout our relationship and marriage, my love, commitment, and support has stood strong. I did the best that I could do, and I am good with that. I am disappointed that Peter feels I didn’t believe in him, because it is absolutely not true.”
RELATED: WILL CYNTHIA START DATING SOON?
On buying the lake house, she says “I named my new lake home Lake Bailey. It is my early birthday gift to myself. Lake Bailey is my sanctuary. My peace. This is the first time in a long time that I did something that was a 100% for me. I am in love!”
