Mary Cosby Denies Claims That She Left Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City

Whew Mary Cosby really loves to keep us guessing. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has been under intense scrutiny lately for not only her actions on the show, but for skipping the season 2 reunion. After accusations about her racially insensitive comments on the show, it was rumored that she didn’t want to show up and explain herself. And we haven’t even gotten to the part where she didn’t want to deal with being accused of being a cult leader. In short, there are likely a multitude of reasons why Mary didn’t want to attend.

But Mary was more than happy to clear the air. Sort of? She previously tweeted, “I didn’t go to the reunion. Those girls don’t deserve my presence. Whitney [Rose] can go jump on a stripper pole for all I care. I only care about 1 thing my church. Haters can go jump. PrayForJesus.” Not the stripper pole!

Since we all know that skipping a reunion is the kiss of death for a housewife, the gossip is that Mary isn’t returning for season 3 of RHOSLC. And she supposedly hasn’t been seen filming either, furthering the speculation. But Mary took to Twitter again when she heard that she was exiting the show.

Page Six tweeted, “JUST IN: Mary Cosby exits ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ after 2 seasons.” Mary immediately fired back and responded, “This Story Is Not True!! This is a complete Fabrication’ A Complete Lie!’ I have not spoke to anyone!!” Is she just saying that she did not “leave” and she got fired? Or is she implying that she’s somehow still a part of the show, which does not seem to be accurate?

I’m not even going to lie, I am shocked that she responded to this. Especially because she has seemed so disinterested this season. Not to mention the recent comments she made in a Twitter Spaces conversation. Mary said about not attending the reunion, “The only thing I have to say about the reunion is I didn’t go because it was one-sided. Everyone heard one side of what they felt…I mean, they told lies, one side of my story.”

Even Andy Cohen seemed to allude to her being done after a conversation about her not going. He revealed, “I had a sense. I spoke to her on New Year’s Eve a few hours before I went on the air. We had a long talk and it’s her story to tell, but I got the sense that she was not finding gratitude in being on the show anymore.”

While Andy acknowledged that Mary was “an integral part” of the show’s success, he doesn’t support ditching reunions. He explained, “You allow others to control your narrative. As your last gesture, I would much rather hear from her.”

Well, thanks to Twitter, I guess we did hear from her. It just wasn’t the way we expected. And we still don’t have an official statement from anyone, including Mary, on whether or not she has actually left/been fired. Why wouldn’t she have said something by now? Is she shopping her story? Is Bravo still trying to convince her to sign on? So many questions, and none of them being answered. Mary remains a confusing figure on the show. And even more so off of it.

Meredith Marks Addresses Swollen Face On Watch What Happens Live Appearance

Meredith Marks has been through her fair share of social media drama as of late. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has been defending herself regularly on Twitter. Once the latest episode of RHOSLC dropped, Meredith felt the need to clear a few things up.

After the ladies continued to suggest that she lied about the date of her deceased father’s memorial, Meredith had to post the receipts of her hotel stay. The women were trying to piece together a conspiracy theory that Meredith lied about the date. All to avoid being on the sprinter van that the FBI swarmed looking for Jen Shah. Her castmates alleged that Meredith tipped off law enforcement so didn’t want to be there when it all went down.

Meredith then appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live and was forced to face Lisa Barlow’s “hot mic” moment. Mad at Meredith for I’m not totally sure what, Lisa went on a complete tirade, all caught while she was mic’d up. And she said some incredibly mean things about Meredith. Meredith was doing her best to get through it with a smile. But fans were busy picking apart her appearance. The ultimate take away from social media was that people thought Meredith’s face looked “swollen.”

As reported by Page Six, Meredith took to her Twitter once again to defend herself. She tweeted, “As I am being asked about my swollen face on #WWHL, yes my face was swollen that day. No it was not a cosmetic procedure.” She continued, “You can see on my insta story pic taken the next day where the swelling is down. I am human. Not every day is perfect. Sorry.”

The online speculation couldn’t have been easy for Meredith to read. One user suggested, “Meredith got something done to her face. #WWHL.” Another added, “What happened to Meredith’s face? It looks like it hurts #WWHL #RHOSLC.” The questioned continued, “Did Meredith get fillers? Her face looks strange #RHOSLC.”

The more vicious viewers compared her to a “puffer fish.” Some drew a comparison to Shannon Beador’s infamous season 15 reunion face. Shannon later admitted that she got too much filler and was shown getting it dissolved on the current season of Real Housewives of Orange County.

But Meredith has plenty of supporters online too. One responded, “you don’t have to explain yourself gorgeous queen.” A second person tweeted, “Swollen but still beautiful!” Finally, someone reassured her, “i have ‘puffy days’ too, i thought you looked stunning as always.”

John Mellencamp Cheers Daughter Teddi Mellencamp On In Celebrity Big Brother, Despite Not Knowing What It Is

In case you weren’t aware, Celebrity Big Brother premiered this week on CBS. Because of its shortened format compared to its predecessor Big Brother, we are treated to a whole lot of drama jam packed into a mere three weeks. And apparently, a whole lot of headwear looks from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Teddi Mellencamp. Who, besides Gina Kirschenheiter packs this many hats? Just saying.

Joining Teddi and her questionable accessory choices on this season of Celebrity Big Brother is seasoned reality vet (and Kyle Richards stan), Carson Kressley. Surprisingly (or maybe not) Carson has seemingly ignored Teddi, in favor of forming an alliance with Shanna Moakler, Todrick Hall, and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey. All of whom he knows from previous reality interactions.

The season’s first HOH has already been played, and won, by UFC fighter Miesha Tate. In the last few seconds of the competition, only Miesha, Todrick, and Teddi were left hanging like puppets. A questionable nod toward Chris Kirkpatrick‘s “Bye Bye Bye” video perhaps? Considering the competition started with everyone walking the runway, I wonder if all competitions will tie back to a celebrity in some way. Can we also take a second to appreciate how Chris works in an NSYNC song title into every confessional? But I digress.

During the competition Todrick asks Meisha if he drops, to keep him safe. She readily agrees. Teddi asks for the same favor but is rejected. I lowkey wonder if Meisha is a RHOBH watcher and knows Teddi for the pot stirrer she is. While Meisha ultimately targets Carson and figure skater Mirai Nagasu for the block, it looks like Teddi will be the backdoor replacement.

While many, eh-hem, have predicted that Teddi would be the first housemate voted out, this is sad news for her father, John Mellencamp. According to Page Six, while John is excited to watch his daughter on television, he isn’t quite sure what she’s doing there. Teddi’s early ouster certainly won’t give him the opportunity to find out.

John took to Instagram to share a photo of him and Teddi as a child; as well as a photo of the two of them with Teddi’s two daughters.

John’s amusing caption was as follows, “A television show that Teddi is on premieres tonight. I don’t know what she’s doing, but I’m proud of her and hope she achieves her goals.” Neither do we John, neither do we.

I hate to say I told you so, but…
