Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Suit Up for a Superhero Halloween

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos leaned into the Marvel universe for one of their Halloween transformations on Live with Kelly and Mark.

The married co-hosts dressed as two recognizable superheroes for the show’s annual Halloween special, which featured dozens of costume changes inspired by pop culture.

Consuelos transformed into Spider-Man in the character’s signature red-and-blue suit, while Ripa dressed as Yelena Belova in a green tactical outfit.

Tom Holland and Florence Pugh portrayed the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and most recently appeared together in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, according to the supplied source.

The latest Kelly Ripa Halloween look also continued a Marvel-themed tradition for the couple.

Last year, Kelly and Mark dressed as Reed Richards and Sue Storm, the superhero couple played by Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Their Spider-Man and Yelena costumes represented only a small part of this year’s Live celebration. The hosts planned more than 60 different looks for the special, titled Live’s Halloween Shockin’ Eve.

The episode put a Halloween twist on a New Year’s Eve countdown and drew inspiration from major entertainment moments and viral trends from the past year.

According to PEOPLE, Ripa and Consuelos also participated in sketches inspired by The Traitors, Heated Rivalry, and Squishies.

Lisa Rinna and Jerry O’Connell joined the episode as celebrity judges for the show’s audience Halloween costume competition.

The special also marked the second Halloween broadcast filmed in Live’s new studio.

Ripa and Consuelos have built a reputation for elaborate costumes in previous years. Their 2025 celebration featured 74 looks, including versions of Chappell Roan and Benson Boone.

In 2024, the pair dressed as Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars and recreated looks from “Die with a Smile” during a special that included 40 costumes.

Live’s Halloween Shockin’ Eve aired Friday, October 30.

Pedro Pascal’s Three-Hour Lunch Saved a Film From Total Collapse

A film that was close to being shelved found a second chance after Pedro Pascal sat down for lunch with filmmaker Tony Gilroy. Following Oscar Isaac‘s exit from Behemoth! and mounting scheduling difficulties, Gilroy was preparing to call off the production altogether.

However, his three-hour meeting with Pascal turned what could have been a farewell conversation into the beginning of a new collaboration.

Isaac’s departure created a major setback for Behemoth! amid scheduling conflicts involving Frankenstein and awards commitments, as per Variety. Gilroy had already postponed the production as much as he could and was reluctant to delay it further.

So, when he and producer Sanne Wohlenberg headed to meet Pascal, he was rehearsing what he would tell the crew: “We tried really hard. We’re not doing this movie now. I’ll find us something else.”

But Pascal made a strong impression almost immediately. Just 10 minutes into their lunch, Gilroy found himself reconsidering the film’s future. “Oh my God, can he be this perfect?” he recalled thinking. “There must be something wrong with him.”

The conversation eventually stretched to three hours. Gilroy described it as “more of a prenup than a meeting,” as both sides openly discussed what they expected from the collaboration. They soon reached an understanding, and Pascal was ready to get started. “I’ll start tomorrow,” he told Gilroy. True to his word, he had a cello the very next day to begin preparing for the role.

In Behemoth!, Pascal portrays Alex Serian, a cellist who returns to Los Angeles after spending two decades on the road. The cast also includes Olivia Wilde, Will Arnett, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton and Hank Azaria. The project marks Gilroy’s first feature film as a director since 2012’s The Bourne Legacy, following his work on Disney+’s Andor.

Gilroy also hopes audiences see Behemoth! as more than a film about classical music. He wants its central themes to focus on family and the “new varieties of loneliness” people experience in a fragmented world.

With Pascal’s casting keeping the project alive, Behemoth! is now set to reach theaters. Searchlight Pictures will release the film on December 4.

Photos shared by DeuxMoi showed PC Valmorbida keeping his arm around Olivia’s shoulders as they enjoyed a stroll together. The pair stepped out in Soho on October 25. Olivia kept her look casual, wearing an oversized fleece jacket over a loose T-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. Valmorbida, meanwhile, opted for a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers. They both wore dark sunglasses.

Despite the apparent closeness between the two, Olivia and PC have yet to confirm the status of their relationship. Olivia, the youngest daughter of Full House star Lori Loughlin and her ex-husband, Mossimo Giannulli, reportedly ended her on-and-off romance with Elordi in August 2025. She was linked to Taylor Fritz post that.

However, Olivia made it clear in a May interview with Bustle that she has no intention of discussing her dating life publicly. She said, “I will never speak on it, ever. That part of my life, I’m a completely closed book. I’m just going to be a mystery.”

“When I was younger, I wanted to say my piece a lot more. Now I don’t have that desire at all. I can vent to somebody in my private life about it. It’s just a feeling like, ‘Oh, I don’t really want to share that. That doesn’t really benefit anyone. That doesn’t really benefit me,'” she added.

Before being linked to Olivia, PC was reportedly romantically connected to a few other high-profile personalities. These included fashion designer Mary-Kate Olsen, whom he was first linked to in 2007. The pair reportedly rekindled their connection in 2023. He was also linked to Theodora Richards, the daughter of Keith Richards.
