Stephanie Hollman Talks Being Micromanaged; Sees A New Side Of LeeAnne Locken

Stephanie Hollman

Stephanie Hollman

Stephanie Hollman’s version of going deep on this week’s Real Housewives of Dallas equals jumping out of a cake for hubby Travis and seeing LeeAnne Locken in a whole new light – after one (weirdly aggressive!) public speaking engagement. Oh well. At least she’s tryin’! In her blog, Stephanie discusses the finer points of Travis’ birthday party, why she values her bestie Brandi Redmond, and how she thinks LeeAnne is worth a second chance.

“Every year I plan an over the top party for Travis. He loves celebrating his birthday and always wants a big party or dinner to celebrate the magical day of his birth,” explains Stephanie. The magical day of his birth? Is this why Travis constantly looks like a grumpy baby with a dirty diaper? Arrested development does not even begin to cover this Elmo Has A Birthday level of play!

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Stephanie at least has the slightly more mature Brandi on her side to deal with Travis‘ Magical Day Expectations. “Brandi and Brian are a big part of all of our lives and I bounce ideas off of her. Brandi’s sense of humor is hysterical to me. When she made the joke about a gift from the grave, I knew she wasn’t serious. She was joking and acting goofy to lighten the mood. That’s Brandi.”

Stephanie is also feeling generous toward LeeAnne since hearing her speak at the HIV benefit for women. As if reading a teleprompter, Stephanie automatons the following paid by Bravo LeeAnne endorsement: “It was very sweet of LeeAnne to invite me to hear her speak. I know her dream is to do speaking engagements and write a book. I love watching people live their passion and thought this would give me the opportunity to see LeeAnne in a different light. She is a very good speaker. The women at the event were so receptive to her words. I saw a real side of LeeAnne that was kind and giving. I was very happy for her and the women at the event. I pray that LeeAnnes motivational speaker dreams work out. I believe that public speaking is her gift.”

Hmm. Maybe if LeeAnne writes that memoir and goes on that Costco speaking tour, Stephanie thinks she’ll be out of Dallas for awhile? There can be no other explanation for this insanity!

On other fronts, Stephanie explains her reasons for confronting Travis on his micromanaging ways. “The decision to talk with Travis about his micromanaging the house was a difficult but good decision. I know how hard it will be for him, but do love that he heard me and is willing to change.”

“I recognize that I cannot expect change if I don’t ask for it,” Stephanie continues. “We were raised very differently and it has been a struggle at times to understand each other’s styles and ways of thinking. However, marriage is about balance of giving and taking, striving to understand differences and celebrating successes. This was a success.”

The Magical Day of Travis‘ Birth was also a success, gushes Stephanie. And she wasn’t overly concerned with Cary Deuber’s judgment of Brandi. After she heard Brandi had made (temporary?) peace with LeeAnne, Cary questioned Brandi’s gullibility. “When Cary said that Brandi and I fell for LeeAnne hook, line and sinker, I was not upset. I have mixed emotions over LeeAnne. Cary was hurt by being treated poorly at the Goth party. She was protecting herself, Brandi and I. I agree with Cary in that friendship and trust are earned. I was starting to reconsider trusting LeeAnne, but Cary was in a different place.”

You know, I have to say I really like Stephanie so far. She seems to play her cards close to her chest, and even if she is giving LeeAnne a second chance, I doubt it’s because she wants her as a lifelong soul mate. When it comes to her hubby, though, she seems to compromise in ways that are downright maddening! But perhaps that’s the high cost of diamond bracelets and big ole’ mansions? Sigh.

Stephanie closes her blog divulging why she ultimately decided to pop out of that birthday cake for Travis. She defends, “since he backed off and trusted me to do all of the planning, I thought I could do the unexpected and at least jump out of a cake for him privately in our home. He was pleasantly surprised!”

Tiffany Hendra Defends LeeAnne Locken Again; Seeks Resolution With Cary Deuber

Tiffany Hendra

Tiffany Hendra

As the Frick to LeeAnne Locken’s Frack, Tiffany Hendra seems to be locked in the role of defending, pardoning, and egging on her totally unhinged best friend with each passing week. This behavior isn’t doing any favors for Tiffany’s rep though. But The Real Housewives of Dallas star says she doesn’t care. LeeAnne is her SOULMATE!

Speaking of soulmates, Tiffany throws some leftover love at hubby Aaron, whose concert she gushes was “so amazing. THANK YOU ALL! A few people speculated that I was behind the idea of Aaron dedicating ‘My Number One’ to Brandi [Redmond’s] brother Michael, but that was all Aaron’s idea and it’s been beautiful to see the conversation that’s started around our military and PTSD.” Tiffany claims the concert also “gave Aaron a boost toward calling Dallas ‘home.'”

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Tiffany moves on to LeeAnne’s self-centered speechifying at the women’s HIV benefit. “Another heartfelt moment was experiencing the love in the room at The Grace Project during LeeAnne’s speech. I was so proud of her and the message she shared! I couldn’t help but break down in tears to see her stand up there and allow God to speak through her. She has a gift and to witness her using it to help others was so emotional.”

In an effort to explain their bond, and the reasons why she’s always defending LeeAnne, Tiffany submits the following in her blog: “LeeAnne and I bonded all those years ago over similar broken pasts of sexual abuse so the message of letting go of the shameful labels we collect along our journey really hit home to me. I say we can use our pain for a purpose and she is doing just that and I couldn’t be more proud! I get accused of defending to LeeAnne to my own detriment and turning a blind eye to her behavior, but I know all too well how that behavior is triggered. I have always taken the tough love route instead of trying to “fix” LeeAnne. She has done the same with me. It’s not our job to try to fix someone else. I was glad Stephanie got to experience that day and see that beautiful side of LeeAnne.”

RELATED: LeeAnne Locken Thinks Her RHOD Co-stars Hate Her Because of Their Marriage Problems!

The fewer people who rage-hate LeeAnne, the fewer who loathe Tiffany by proxy. Therefore, Tiffany was thrilled to see how easily Brandi patched things up with LeeAnne over lunch! “I love resolutions and was so happy to see Brandi and LeeAnne hug it out. They have SO much in common and sometimes the familiarity causes conflict. I’m hoping they can continue building trust and celebrating their commonalities. I enjoy hanging out with Brandi and with LeeAnne so I’m looking forward to the day we can all hang out and just be silly, keep it real and put all this BS behind us!”

But Cary Deuber is not about to buy what LeeAnne is selling, even though Stephanie Hollman and Brandi seem more than willing to (although my guess is they have ulterior motives – they may just be trying to keep the lid closed on a box of LeeAnne Crayzee so it doesn’t explode all over them again!). Tiffany reflects, “Cary was understandably cold since she got thrown to the goths- I mean wolves- at Heidi [F–king Dillon!’s] party. I’m sure she was apprehensive about seeing the whole gang again! She does have the best RBF ever and I would have felt the same way she did after I saw episode 7.” I assume she’s referencing the comment Heidi made about Cary being a homewrecker?

Tiffany defends, “To set the record straight, I’ve gotten lots of crap over that incident. I didn’t know ANYTHING about Heidi planning to put Cary on the spot at her party. Yes, I was taken aback when Heidi mentioned what gossip she knew about Cary when we had brunch. We didn’t discuss Cary and add to the convo. Heidi made that one remark and proceeded to tell the story about how she got her first husband and worked for him. I didn’t live here when Cary and Mark got married several years ago. When I moved to Dallas, yes- I heard the rumors, but it’s none of my business! Even if it was true- I wouldn’t judge Cary for her past because I don’t want people judging me for my past either… and we all know how messy my past was.”

Just in case we’re not convinced that LeeAnne is indeed a different person underneath it all, Tiffany argues one last time for resolution. (Does Tiffany NOT see that LeeAnne has needed to make up with virtually EVERY SINGLE cast member on this show since its inception a few short weeks ago!?!? I feel like girlfriend has Battered Friend Syndrome or something!)

Tiffany opines, “Now that LeeAnne has humbly apologized to Brandi and Stephanie, I would love to see LeeAnne and Cary put things behind them too. Cary commented that LeeAnne should apologize for throwing things- yes, even LeeAnne thinks that and that’s why she apologized to the other girls. LeeAnne knows I don’t condone that behavior. Hell, LeeAnne doesn’t even like her behavior and she’s working on it. I’m proud of her for it. We all have to do the work. We are all flawed.”

TELL US: IS TIFFANY BLINDLY LOYAL, OR JUST BLIND? IS LEEANNE DIFFERENT THAN WHO WE SEE ON CAMERA? SHOULD CARY MEND FENCES WITH HER?

Teen Mom 2 Recap: On The Outs

Teen Mom 2 Recap - Jenelle and Barbara Fight

Teen Mom 2 recap

Last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2 was relatively low-key. Aside from a standard shouting match between Jenelle Evans and Barbara Evans, there was no major conflict.

Leah Messer and Miranda Simms discuss Ali’s accusations that Miranda doesn’t help her and only pays attention to Remi, but they manage to keep it civilized. We don’t see Kailyn Lowry talk to Javi Marroquin at all, but she tells her friends and Jo Rivera that things are tough and it looks like she’s headed toward a divorce. Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer celebrate Pete the Pig’s first birthday while Aubree cheers Adam Lind on in a weight-lifting competition. Jenelle continues searching for answers to her medical problems and has a blow-up with Babs when she chooses spring break over an important event for Jace.

Leah Messer

Leah’s house is kid-free except for friend Kayla’s baby who’s over for a visit. “Let him stay with me!” Leah says, adding that she lets her kids stay with Kayla. Kayla just says no. No explanation given, none needed. Leah tells Kayla about Chastity’s video of Ali and that she had sent it to Corey. Conveniently, Miranda texts Leah explaining that sometimes she can’t help Ali with her backpack, but she cares about the girls and doesn’t think she did anything wrong. Miranda’s text was fairly innocuous, but Leah is upset anyway because she believes Miranda is being overly defensive. And of course, Corey Simms is at fault for showing the video to Miranda.

Leah actually does something mature and thinks before responding to Miranda. As she tells Kayla, before treatment, she would have responded immediately in a bitchy, defensive way. But that would just make everything worse and it would be better for the girlses if she and Miranda had some kind of friendship. The friendship part might be a little much, but I’m surprised by how well Leah is handling this situation. She probably could have done a better job expressing her concern in the first place, but I don’t expect that much from her.

Leah starts crying and with her hair in wild curls, she gives me a Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction vibe. She goes on to say that treatment was a major eye-opener and there was drama in her life she didn’t realize she had. She didn’t know she grew up the wrong way, but hopes that with enough time, she can unlearn what she was taught growing up. We heard some of Dawn’s parenting guidance last week – kids can eat tubs of icing as long as they’re sitting at the table – no wonder Leah doesn’t see how some of her behavior is unacceptable (smoking in the car with the girls, not strapping them in their carseats, not getting to them on school time, etc.).

Teen Mom 2 recap

When Leah texts Miranda back, she keeps herself under control. First, she apologizes for taking so long to respond. Then she explains that she and Corey need to discuss it if something is upsetting the girls. She wants them to feel safe expressing themselves and know they’re being heard. Miranda and Leah text back and forth and in Corey’s words, it was a very civil conversation. Disaster averted.

Later, Leah has all three girls and tries to play a boring game with them where she says how she feels and they’re supposed to say how they feel. Except none of them can figure it out and just think Mommy’s acting weird again. Then she drops the twins off with Corey, who acknowledges that he and Miranda have seen a positive change in Leah. No matter what happens in the upcoming court hearing, he hopes they can continue to get along. Corey explains that he doesn’t have a problem with the substance of the court order, he just wants the wording corrected. Leah seems to understand, but she’s always one incoherent conversation with her sister away from thinking Corey is evil incarnate.

Kailyn asks Isaac if Mommy is doing a good job without Javi. He’s only been gone a month and Kailyn is already assessing whether she’s better off without him! Isaac says he’s been doing good, probably because there was so much pressure put on him to be “the man of the house.” He seems to be taking that role to heart though, asking Kail how she feels. He’s six going on thirty-five! She says she feels okay, but she’s got divorce written all over her face.

Kail and Javi divorce

Kail takes the boys to paint pottery and on the way there, Lincoln shouts “Puta! Poopy!” from the backseat. Isaac thinks his brother is weird. While they’re painting soccer balls and Christmas trees, Kail asks Isaac if he thinks she and Javi and Jo and Vee should have any more babies. Isaac says no. Then she asks if Mommy and Daddy should be friends. Isaac says yes. Just wait until Kail tells Javi that she wants to be friends with Jo!

Later, Kail goes to New York to meet with an alumnus of her school to discuss working in the television industry. He more or less reminds her that she’s already on television and should use her connections. If her MTV connections had any interest in helping her with her career, why would she be in New York meeting an alumnus? Afterward, she meets up with friends for lunch. She tells them it’s been rough since Javi’s deployment, so she’s taking the time to figure out what do with her career. She adds that the deployment has been harder on Javi than she expected. I get the impression she thinks less of him for being emotional about his deployment, like he’s not man enough.

When she gets back from New York, Kail meets with Jo to discuss building their relationship. Jo is wary of a friendship with Kail because they have a pattern of getting along for a while, then having months of animosity when one little thing goes wrong. Despite his cautiousness, he does want to work on getting along, but he wants Javi involved, too. Kail confides to Jo that things between her and Javi have been tough and she doesn’t know how things will be when he gets back home. It’s obvious she’s done with Javi.

Teen Mom 2 recap - Chelsea

Chelsea updates her friend on the latest with Adam. He has gotten a lawyer and is trying to appeal the last child support ruling, but never calls Aubree. Chelsea told Adam’s parents that he didn’t show up for the father-daughter dance and, of course, Adam hadn’t even mentioned the dance to them. Adam’s parents told Chelsea they’re glad Aubree has Cole in her life. Chelsea takes this as some sort of approval from Adam’s parents. Approval of what? She didn’t make it clear, but she probably thinks it’s the go-ahead to fully replace Adam.

A short scene of Pete the Pig stinking up Chelsea’s living room with farts cuts to Adam lifting weights. He’s competing and Aubree and Paislee are there cheering him on, “Come on, Daddy!” He wins first place and Aubree is so proud of him. Adam asks her if she wants to do weightlifting when she’s older and she is very clear that she is NOT interested. Then she asks why he didn’t come to her dance. He says because he “had to do this,” which I guess means training for his competition. But he doesn’t seem regretful at all or interested in offering a better explanation. Instead, he says he’ll go to her school “one of these days” to eat lunch with her. Don’t hold your breath, Aubs.

Meanwhile, Cole and Chelsea are fishing somewhere near their house. Even while fishing, their entire conversation is in baby talk, but they’re happy and having a great time, so good for them I guess.

Teen Mom 2 recap - Pete the Pig birthday

Later, they make a birthday fruit pile for Pete the Pig. Chelsea shoots some whip cream in her mouth and asks Cole if he wants to lick some off her nipples. He says “sure” in the most unenthusiastic way possible and finishes topping the fruit pile. Pete happily eats it up while wagging his tail and Cole gets a video of the cute pig butt. Aubree watches the video when she gets home and Chelsea asks her if she talked to Adam about the father-daughter dance. Aubree says Adam wished he had gone but can’t remember what his excuse was for not going. Chelsea reminds her that Cole took her, making sure she doesn’t forget, which is important for Phase 2 of Operation Adam Out.

Predictably, Jenelle’s MRI came back negative, but she’s still in New York getting tests. David Eason thinks the cause might be the birth control she started a month before the symptoms began. Despite coming from David, I think this is actually a logical theory. But Jenelle doesn’t think birth control causes hot flashes AT ALL, even though hot flashes are caused by hormonal changes and birth control is hormones, but hey, she’s the one in the “medical field.” She tries to force tears out of her eyes as she whines that she feels like she’s slowly dying.

Teen Mom 2 recap

When Jenelle gets back from New York, she picks Kaiser up from David’s sister. I wonder if Kaiser is calling David’s sister “mama” yet. Meanwhile, Nathan and his girlfriend are bowling with friends. Just when I thought Nathan couldn’t look douchier, he puts his faux hawk up in a bun. One of his friends mentions that Jenelle has been posting a lot of pictures of her traveling and asks where Kaiser is. Nathan has no idea, but supposedly his lawyer has gotten things in motion.

Jenelle’s tests from New York came back inconclusive, so she goes to another hospital. Barbara calls her and Jenelle goes on a long rant about her symptoms and how no one can figure out what’s wrong with her. Babs thinks she’s been watching too much of “that Walking Dead show.” Later, Jenelle reads a warning about her current medication, which says there is a risk of addiction if you have had problems with addiction in the past. Jenelle reminds David that she was addicted to the purest form of heroin. David doesn’t like her saying that, as if a heroin addiction is too trashy, even for his standards. He says he’d rather be a crackhead than a heroin addict. Jenelle swears she’s never going to be addicted to any drug ever again and she’s going to get Jace back. And you know if Jenelle sets her mind to something, she’ll do it!

Unfortunately, we learn that David is doing “gooch” exercises – Kegels – to make his penis stronger. Later, Babs comes over to Jenelle’s house and tells Jenelle to be available for Jace’s soapbox derby race because she won’t be able to go. Jenelle can’t go, though, because it’s spring break. I wasn’t aware that spring break was still relevant when you have a toddler and another kid you’re trying to get custody over.

Teen Mom 2 Recap - Jenelle and Barbara Fight

Babs gets upset and starts raising her voice. Jenelle tells her to calm down and Babs stops talking, but then she laughs, pissing Jenelle off even more. Jenelle doesn’t understand why Babs is always helping her sister, Ashley, but she’s never there for Jenelle (except for raising her kid for her). Jenelle cries she had to go to the hospital four times for Babs to even act concerned. Babs thinks she might just be a hypochondriac.

Jenelle snaps back that she has so much hatred for her mom, who was supposedly not there to nourish her and give her love. Babs just laughs at the accusation. Jenelle threatens to “full force” take Babs to court because she’s “clean as a whistle.” Babs gives her a look that says “game on.” Babs leaves and Jenelle stays seated on her staircase crying. Kaiser comes over and gives her a big hug. Apparently he and Jace were there to witness the whole fight between their mom and grandmother. Those poor kids are going to need more therapy than Leah.

Real Housewives Of Dallas Recap: Happy Birthday Mr. President

RHOD-stephanie-hollman-cake

RHOD-stephanie-hollman-cake

On last night’s Real Housewives Of Dallas Travis got to have his cake and eat it too. Meanwhile Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman officially fell for the newly sweetened version of LeeAnne Locken. Was it aspartame, or real sugar?

Travis‘ birthday is the most important day of the year next to Jesus’ birthday. In fact, Travis is like the second son born in the miracle manger. At least according to Stephanie. (And Travis.) Therefore this warrants a lavish, over-the-top affair in which Stephanie proves that importance that is Travis’ ego, so she decides to throw a a Gatsby-themed party to celebrate the living incarnate of holiness on earth. With Stephanie in charge, Travis is practically pooping his pants that he may end up with a party at Bounce It Out! where Brandi and Stephanie slurp Jesus Juice through booze googles while dry humping the slide.

rhod-stephanie-travis-micromanage

Travis‘ anxiety increases when Stephanie mentions that Brandi will be helping her scout part locations. Because when you want a classy opinion, Brandi is so the way to go! Travis informs Stephanie that his personal assistant, Courtney, will be coming along to supervise. Courtney looks like she graduated high school yesterday, yet Stephanie describes her as a “sister wife,” who doesn’t have sex with Travis. A) ummm… no comment; and B) when your hubby’s assistant is 13 and he thinks she’s more mature than you are – that’s a problem. Stephanie agrees – thankfully!

While they look at venues, Courtney shadows to confirm that Stephanie makes the ‘Travis Approved’ choices. “Travis Approved” meaning Stephanie will jump out of a cake in lingerie. Is Courtney supposed to monitor this as well?

Apparently having Stephanie jump out of a cake is his lifelong dream – cause Travis isn’t turning 46 here, he’s still stuck in his mama’s basement secretly watching the Playboy channel. Travis is also worried about what gift Stephanie may give him – last year she got him laser back hair removal, so Travis has also put Courtney in charge of overseeing the gift procurement. Which is probably a good thing because Brandi suggests Stephanie buy a burial plot with attached tombstone. She laughs hysterically as Courtney looks on, deadpan, dutifully taking notes on Stephanie and Brandi’s plan to be the next Thelma & Louise (instead of robbing banks they’ll be robbing Travis’ grave.)

rhod-cary-birthday

Cary Deuber is also celebrating a birthday – her daughter Siri is turning 3! Cary isn’t making a big deal about it because she doesn’t want her daughter be spoiled. Or mellow. Cary doesn’t want Siri to get messy and ruin her new dress, so she got a vanilla cake instead of staining chocolate. This is not OK with Mark. Since all things Deuber-ville are about Mark, he’s annoyed that Cary didn’t get him the chocolate.

Mark is still complaining about the vanilla cake while blowing out Siri’s candles, at her sad little party consisting of one solitary friend. No other family or friends. Siri doesn’t even eat the cake. Or want the presents – even though Mark follows her around with fancy bags full of things. Cary smirks that Siri is her clone. Apparently Mark’s days of buying everyone’s love are limited – Cary’s family owns a bank, and she’s not allowing Mark to break theirs in FAO Schwartz or Neiman’s! Perhaps Cary should be in charge of planning Travis‘ birthday?

LeeAnne meets Rich The Rock for lunch. Over soup she pours out her heart over how important she is and how her hurt is the worstest hurt, the most important hurt, and the hurt so big and special it can save lives. All the lives. LeeAnne oughtta sell her hurt locker to the government. Or maybe head on over to Syria. Rich is pretty much her counselor. He nods and barely listens while she rambles on about her amazingness and delusions.

rhod-leeanne

LeeAnne is gearing up to give the Keynote speech for the Grace Project, which helps women living with HIV. LeeAnne is sharing her own story of hurt with women and since she’s told it a thousand-million times to anyone in Dallas with ears, LeeAnne doesn’t need to write an actual speech. It’s wash, rinse, repeat, and wear again, right?! It seems LeeAnne is more excited for Stephanie to see her in performance mode, than making an impact with Grace Project…

Tiffany Hendra, who has nothing better to do than follow LeeAnne around and pray, or fix Keith SubUrban‘s hair, is also there for ‘support’. BLAH.

At the Grace Project, Stephanie channels her best Jackie Kennedy, and is pleasantly surprised by how powerful and resonant LeeAnne was. I have to admit, I was as well! After seeing this different, positive, side of her former foe, Stephanie invites LeeAnne to Travis‘ birthday – and she hopes Brandi and LeeAnne can move forward as well!

Tiffany gushes that this is the “real LeeAnne“. Is it?

OK – LeeAnne is a hot ball of trifling messitude. With the ladies she is a needy insecure attention-seeking nut job who is less together than one of Sonja Morgan‘s skirt clasps, yet she really turned it up and put on a good show where it counts. Well, well…

Over dinner with her family, Stephanie’s boys prove that Courtney DOES need to be overseeing everything because they want to get Travis a “poo poo cake” for his birthday. Stephanie cackles hysterically, while Daddy Warbucks sends everyone to bed. Afterwards Stephanie complains to Travis that he treats her like a child and should stop micromanaging her. Travis acknowledges he’s too rigid at home and can’t turn ‘work’ off. Plus his mom was a micromanager, who made everyone live by her lists, so he doesn’t really know any other way. Stephanie convinces him to let make some decisions on her own, because, after all she is a “grown woman.” Travis seems surprised to discover that his wife is an adult. Then he wonders if this new grown up Stephanie will still jump out of a cake for him?

Stephanie calls Brandi and priorities: first she tells Brandi about the poop cake, then about LeeAnne abandoning her premiere status as Spawn Of Satan. Stephanie warns Brandi that LeeAnne is coming to Travis‘ party, so she hopes everyone behaves. After considering it, Brandi decides to call LeeAnne to propose a peace lunch. In her phone, LeeAnne is listed as “Loud Mouth”. HA!

rhod-leeanne-brandi

Shockingly LeeAnne and Brandi’s lunch goes calmly. Brandi apologizes for pushing LeeAnne’s buttons, her raunchy humor, and that poop joke and LeeAnne accepts, then smoothly moves on to telling Brandi about what buttons she pushed. No apology offered in exchange. HA! Brandi decides she doesn’t care, and wants to put the pettiness behind them.

Brandi and Stephanie go dress shopping for Travis‘ party. Those were pageant gowns and looked NOTHING like Gatsby. Whatever they bought looked like it belonged at a Gatsby-themed prom, because that’s exactly how high school students with tacky-ass taste and $200 would dress for a roaring 2o’s party. No wonder Travis treats Stephanie like a teenager!

At least they put some effort in – Cary wore her wedding reception dress, after she decided that because it has sequins, it was Gatsby-enough. These girls need to get access to Google. And Cary needs to lighten up!

rhod-travis-party-leeanne-tiffany

Meanwhile LeeAnne and Tiffany went ALL out. Brandi laughs at Tiffany’s enormous feathered headband – like Brandi has any room to talk about hats. Or feathers – her dress was Disney On Ice Does Gatsby. Although LeeAnne looked pretty much exactly like Cruella DeVille.

Shockingly Brandi gets drunk. (Sarcasm) But truly shockingly she is now BFF with LeeAnne and Tiffany! They spend the whole night trading poop war stories. LeeAnne and Tiffany used to eat so many jalapeno pizzas they needed to put ice cubes on their butts the next morning. Was that some sort of eating disordered way to indulge in pizza?! So weird!

After bonding over shit, a tequila-sloshing Brandi invites LeeAnne and Tiffany to Stephanie’s lake house to celebrate their birthdays. Yes, Brandi and Stephanie even have birthdays in common – and what a coincidence: so does LeeAnne! And no, Brandi didn’t check with Stephanie first!

rhod-stephanie-travis

Despite all his worrying Travis loved the party and praises Stephanie for actually pulling it off. Stephanie agrees the party was like SOOOO much stress and hard work! She actually had to pick up the cake herself, and, like, buy the candles. And OMG … the tequila tastes like locker room! I didn’t see Courtney there (maybe she’s not old enough for a bar?)

rhod-cary-shocked

One person not having fun is Cary. She is in no mood to deal with LeeAnne after the disastrous Goth potluck at Heidi Dillion’s. Cary is also annoyed that Stephanie and Brandi have fallen for LeeAnne’s changed woman act. Cary sulked in the corner while Mark mingled. Her frown turned into a full-blown sneer once Stephanie tells her that Brandi one-upped Stephanie’s own spontaneous LeeAnne invite by including her in the lake house birthday girls weekend.

Cary shrugs that she’ll be keeping her friends close – and her enemies closer! Stephanie doesn’t seem too thrilled about a weekend with LeeAnne, either.

After the party Stephanie gives Travis his gift – leaping out of a giant cardboard cake wearing absolutely ridiculously cheesy lingerie. Obviously Travis loved it. These two are truly toddlers raising toddlers, but they’re kinda cute, right?!

TELL US – WAS BRANDI AND LEEANNE’S RESOLUTION SINCERE? DOES TRAVIS MICROMANAGE STEPHANIE OR IS SHE IMMATURE?

Luann de Lesseps Says “These Women Are Not Behaving Like Sonja’s Friends”

Luann is hurt by Bethenny

Luann is hurt by Bethenny

On this week’s episode we finally got a glimpse of Luann de Lesseps new man (and now fiance) Tom D’Agostino. The Real Housewives of New York star is very excited to introduce us to her “Mr. Right.” She also talks about Sonja Morgan being excluded from the Berkshires and Ramona Singer’s delusions.

She shares, “Last episode, you met one of my mistakes, and this episode you get to meet Mr. Right! I had a very brief fling with Rey, the guy John ejected from his party, but I knew almost immediately that there was something off about him. He’s a hot mess, and I’m too old to take on any improvement projects. I’m looking for a man who is intelligent, confident and sexy and who has a great sense of humor, and I think I’ve found that in Tom. I knew when Dorinda introduced us that he was someone I wanted to get to know better, but the timing wasn’t right. We texted back and forth yet we couldn’t seem to coordinate our schedules. Luckily, before Thanksgiving, I ran into him, and immediately the sparks began to fly. I didn’t feel the need to loop Ramona in at this point because our relationship is new and I wanted to keep him out of the fray as long as possible. Wouldn’t you?” In her blog after last week’s episode, Luann says that Ramona is a hypocrite.  “Ramona, Sonja and I made Page Six after the incident at John’s party. I was mentioned as leaving the scene before John kicked out Ramona and Rey. John’s quote, “I took out the grime” was spot on! As you can see, Ramona is a hypocrite when she judges our partying, because she’s as bad or worse when it comes to having a couple of drinks and letting her freak flag fly. She’s incapable of seeing how when she gets buzzed, all hell breaks loose.”

And then Ramona shifted the blame when retelling the story, “When she told her side of the story at Bethenny’s caviar party, you see how she omits any wrongdoing of her own and blames the entire incident on John. He wouldn’t have kicked her out had she not jumped in to defend Rey who most definitely needed to go. Jules saw the whole thing go down and was ready to fill the girls in on the rest of the story when Dorinda arrived at the party. The girls shut down this discussion out of respect for her. Dorinda’s heard enough about how Ramona feels about John and she’s losing her patience with Ramona’s antics. In fact, this constant conflict with Ramona is making Dorinda anxious and is destroying her inner peace. Not good.”

Luann then gushes over her finding her ‘match’ in Tom. “I planned the dinner at Empire Steakhouse so some of the girls could meet my new man, Tom. He handled himself marvelously, charming my friends and ignoring John’s inappropriate remark. Tom and I are very much alike, and I’m not surprised that Dorinda would match us up. We both laugh at the same jokes, and he’s incredibly smart, successful and we are both close to our families. I’ve finally met my match. We’ve been inseparable since we met, and things are moving really fast in the best possible way.”

On to the Berkshires. Luann feels that Dorinda made a mistake by excluding Sonja Morgan from their night away. “Did Dorinda make the right choice to exclude Sonja from her Berkshires sleepover? I don’t think so. Sonja’s feelings were hurt even though you see how gracious she was to Dorinda by agreeing to visit alone. Sonja hasn’t always surrounded herself with the best people, and I’m trying to mentor her into expecting more from the people in her life.”

RELATED: ANDY SAYS NEXT EPISODE OF RHONY IS INSANE

She adds, “Bethenny’s comment that it’s like the blind leading the deaf was rude. I like to have fun, but I also have good judgment when it comes to my friends. I will not waste time with people who detract from my life; instead, I surround myself with people who make my life better. One of my best mentors said to me, “Get rid of the negative people in your life to make room for the good ones.” These women are not behaving like Sonja’s friends. I don’t think Sonja will regret missing this trip when she sees what happens in the next episode.”  We can’t wait for that!

TELL US – IS RAMONA OR JOHN AT FAULT FOR THE PARTY DRAMA? SHOULD DORINDA HAVE INVITED SONJA TO THE BERKSHIRES? WILL LUANN MAKE IT DOWN THE AISLE?

Vanderpump Rules co-stars Lala Kent and James Kennedy party at Rehab in Vegas. James and Lala spent their Memorial Weekend in Las Vegas with co-stars Faith Stowers, Jesse Montana and others. James and Lala posed together – along with James’ girlfriend Raquel Leviss – during their appearance at the Vegas hotspot.

The new season of Vanderpump Rules is currently back in production and filming again, so we’ll have to wait and see who made the final cuts for the upcoming season. Lisa Vanderpump seemed to have a soft spot for James and Lala and it’s pretty amusing to see Jax Taylor get so riled up over James (and Lala..), so I have a strong feeling they’ll both be back.  And if Lisa is managing James, that’s pretty much a given that he’ll be around this season.

Check out the pics below!

Southern Charm Recap: Boys Will Be Boys

Southern Charm recap

Southern Charm recap

Last night’s Southern Charm proved that regardless of their jealousy, petty social media battles, and all-around dysfunctional behavior, Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel create some absolutely beautiful children together. Of course before we’re introduced to the new baby, we have to get through an episode’s worth of wealthy man-children (and Craig Conover) treating the world as their playground. After Shepard “Shep” Rose’s mountain weekend, it’s time for a big time for the boys on the west coast. In Los Angeles, Whitney Sudler-Smith is cooking breakfast for Larissa and they joke about Craig’s promise ring for Naomie.

Back in Mount Pleasant, Kathryn and Cooper Ray (welcome back!) are spa-la-la-ing at the Woodhouse Day Spa. God, I love a man in a custom bow-tie and a fluffy robe! Kathryn’s getting her first facial as she anticipates the birth of her son. T-Rav has been so attentive lately, and she’s hoping he’s coming around to the idea of being a family man. Cooper swoops in to deliver some much needed tough love. He reminds Kathryn that she’s fallen for this before, and she has to realize that Thomas is a fifty-year-old playboy. Sure, one day he may come to his senses, but she needs to focus on living her life and raising her precious babies regardless of Thomas’ behavior–good or bad. Preach! Kathryn recognizes that T-Rav went fifty years without having children, so she knows it has to be a tough adjustment.

Speaking of, at Thomas‘ Edisto plantation, he and JD are sipping bourbon and discussing the future. JD is shocked to learn that Kathryn is being induced on Monday. Should he be excited for his friend or suspicious that Kathryn maybe moved up her due date? He wonders if a paternity test is in order. Thomas has wanted a son for so long, regardless, it’s his child.

Downtown, Craig and Naomie are having a date night at Amen Street (delicious), and he’s ready to let go of his theory about Whitney feeling scorned by Kathryn (even though he’s still convinced it’s true) in order to make the trek to Los Angeles. Naomie is concerned when she learns that Craig will be missing the days leading up to their big bourbon launch. Isn’t he supposed to be doing everything he can to ensure the event goes smoothly? Craig has done everything JD’s asked, and he’ll be back in time for the launch. He shouldn’t be expected to jump in and fix last minute hiccups–he’s checked off everything on JD’s list. Plus, with JD treating him more like an intern and less like a partner, why does it matter? Naomie isn’t convinced, and Craig admits he’s trying hard to justify it to himself.

southern charm cameran landon

Landon Clements and Cameran Eubanks are taking a candle-making class. Landon shares her plans for her online travel magazine, but Cameran wants to know more about her love life. Dishing on the dating scene, Landon relays how difficult it is. She knows what she wants, and there isn’t any point wasting her time by dating guys she knows aren’t her type. Amen. Preach, sister! Cameran cuts to the chase. Is Landon having a hard time finding a new suitor because she has a crush on Shep? Landon pauses for a split second before blushing…yes, she may have considered pursuing a relationship with Shep, but she doesn’t want to ruin their friendship. She confesses that it’s been difficult to see Shep get more serious with Bailey. If he’s finally ready to grow up and settle down, why can’t it be with her?

Shep and Whitney have arrived at Whitney’s home in Los Angeles. Craig worries that things will be awkward, and Whitney is doing everything in his power to make Craig squirm. Shep hits the shower to give Whitney and Craig the chance to chat. Craig apologizes, and before accepting, Whitney ticks off all the ways Hashtag New Craig isn’t as entertaining as Old Craig. It’s Craig’s first time in LA, and Larissa is ready to party. Shep wonders if he’s dressed too fratty. A blazer, rumpled button-down and a trucker cap? No way! It’s not like he’s wearing boat shoes with no socks and a nautical flag embroidered belt with this get-up…at least not that we’ve seen! As the group hits up a party, Whitney poo poos Shep’s game with the ladies. His Gomer Pyle shtick may work on the sixes of Charleston who are over-served and out past midnight, but it isn’t going to work on the discerning ladies of Los Angeles. Guess what, Whitney? He’s got a camera following him around because he’s on a hit Bravo show. I’m betting he gets a little something…

southern charm craig shep

Or not. The next morning, Whitney cites the vomit in his drive-way as the sign of a successful night. After waking his guests, both Whitney and Craig ponder whether Shep got lucky. Maybe with Hand Solo! Shep joins them in the kitchen, and he’s alone. Hey, even MVPs have an off night now and then! Back in Charleston, JD is talking to a spirits distributor who is supposed to be coordinating with Craig for the the Charleston Cup event. She hasn’t heard from Craig all week, so JD decides to intervene. Unfortunately, Craig’s voicemail is full, so JD has to go through Shep. What in the world? Shep has never had a full voicemail! Craig isn’t worried. He’s heading back to Charleston the following day, and he’s sure everything will be fine. Shep believes people take work far too seriously. You and me both, Shepspeare. You and me both.

Thomas takes Kathryn to SIP. While he can tell that she’s nervous and overwhelmed, he fields calls from his decorator who needs him to make some serious decisions. Kathryn wishes she was as much of a priority as his paint colors. She confides that this pregnancy is scarier for her because, after the birth, she won’t be going home with Thomas and their new baby. She’ll be going home alone with their new baby…and a toddler. He is hesitant to leave her in such a fragile state, and she recalls just how big T-Rav’s heart is. Her anxiety passes, and he’s free to go pick out crown molding.

On the west coast, Craig has ordered an in-home massage. Shep finds his friend’s need for constant pampering ridiculous, but he’ll stick around to watch because the masseuse is hot. Both guys are pleased at how well the trip went. The bros are back and the bromance is intact. However, the following day, not back where he’s supposed to be is Craig. JD is peeved that Craig has neglected to assist with the set-up for the Charleston Cup bourbon launch and has instead slept in after his whirlwind visit to LA. He describes Craig as the guy who always comes to the pool party but never offers to help clean the pool.

southern charm kathryn thomas

Cameran receives a call from Landon who wants to make sure she’ll be attending the event. Next, Landon dials Shep who reveals that his grandfather has passed away so he’ll be heading to Alabama for the service. I don’t care what y’all say–despite his Peter Pan mentality and penchant for funneling beers and meaningless hook-ups, I think Shep is a real sweetheart. The sentiments he shares about his grandfather are heartwarming and genuine. It’s a chilly day at the races, and Cameran questions Craig’s whereabouts (and everyone questions Landon’s outfit choice–it’s stylish, but hardly weather appropriate. This isn’t springtime at the Carolina Cup. Put on some jeans and stay warm!).

Craig is hungover on a bus with Naomie, Landon, Jennifer, and Danni who is spouting off distillery facts. She needs to replace Hashtag New Craig at Gentry bourbon. Stat. As Cameran so directly states, Hashtag New Craig has morphed into Old Craig, who didn’t even have the luxury of a hashtag. When JD gets up to welcome his guests, he pointedly thanks all of his partners except for Craig. When it comes time for Craig to approach his partner/boss, JD decides to lecture him instead of ripping off his head. Craig feels played, but he notes that JD’s business was his means to return to Charleston, not his forever job.

southern charm kathryn thomas st. julien

The night before Kathryn is set to give birth, Thomas is eating with his little family. Could Kensie be any more adorable? Thomas asks Kathryn if she wants him to spend the night, but she’s content with him picking her up early the next morning. T-Rav and Kathryn share some very tender moments as they discuss their growing family and the drama they’ve endured (and created!) up to this point. As horribly flawed as they are, it’s evident the couple still radiates a lot of love (and a ton of cray-cray). Kathryn is a bundle of nerves when Thomas arrives to take her to the hospital. The precious St. Julien Rembert Ravenel makes his debut, and Thomas shares a touching moment when he tells his newborn son not to make the mistakes he’s made. Someone watching and blogging may have gotten a tad teary about it, but I won’t name names.

TELL US – WHAT DID YOU THINK OF LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE? IS CRAIG REVERTING BACK TO HIS OLD, LAZY WAYS? HOW SWEET WERE KATHRYN AND THOMAS WITH THEIR NEW ADDITION?
