Amid all his issues off the court, basketball has been the saving grace for Luka Doncic. The Los Angeles Lakers star revealed this week that his engagement with Anamaria Goltes ended. He and his ex-fiancée are currently in a custody battle for their two daughters.

Even with everything going on in his personal life at the moment, he’s still performing at a high level on the court. The Slovenian scored 51 points in his team’s 142-130 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.

Based on his performances this season, you wouldn’t know there is anything wrong in Luka’s personal life. He leads the NBA in points-per-game (32.9) and is averaging the third-most assists per game (8.5). After their victory against the Bulls, Luka was asked how he ensures his personal issues don’t affect his play on the court. Luka says that “basketball is giving me some kind of peace when I play a game.” His custody battle was reported on March 11.

Last August, the Lakers signed Luka to a three-year contract extension worth an estimated $165 million. The six-time NBA All-Star is not oblivious to the huge investment the franchise has made in him. “I have to be here. They pay me a lot to play for them,” said Luka.

While he’s been able to block out all the noise when game time comes around, seeing his girls these days isn’t easy. Luka recently visited UCLA Health. He was there to see his kids and said that doing so helped him put many things in perspective. His first daughter, Gabriela, was born in 2023, and Olivia came into the world last December.

Thanks to Luka’s contributions, the Lakers are third in the Western Conference standings with a record of 41-25.

Meghan Markle Makes Surprise Children’s Hospital Appearance in LA

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) welcomed a surprise visitor on Thursday, March 12. Meghan Markle dropped by the facility, wearing a black face mask and taking photos.

The former Suits star also joined hospital staff and patients in a painting session. The visit occurred after Netflix announced that Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, would be discontinued.

CHLA documented Meghan’s hospital visit on Instagram, which showed photos of her with the kids and sharing a Hello Kitty drawing with a patient. The Duchess arrived in an all-white outfit topped by a beige sweater.

The hospital wrote on its social media, “Today we were honored to welcome LA’s own @meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to CHLA’s Creative Oasis, where she spent time painting alongside our incredible patients. These special moments are a reminder of how powerful creativity can be in fostering joy, connection, and healing.”

Her appearance kicked off CHLA’s Make March Matter event. This is a “month-long fundraising campaign supporting the lifesaving care, research, and innovation that happens at CHLA every day.”

This wasn’t the former actress’ first visit to the hospital. Two years ago, Meghan visited CHLA for a Literally Healing session. This reading program provides patient families with more than 65,000 books annually.

Netflix announced ending its partnership with Meghan on Friday, March 6 due to the discontinuation of her show, With Love, Meghan.

A Netflix spokesperson told Page Six, “Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life.”

Meghan has a busy spring. She is a headliner at a pricey Australian retreat next month, with ticket prices ranging from $1,930 to $2,288.

Recently, Sutton was a guest on the Housewives Nightcap podcast. Host Lauren Herbert said, “Your former castmate Lisa Rinna wrote some pretty interesting things about you in her book.” Sutton responded, “Yeah.”

Then, the host asked, “What was your reaction to that?” If you expected Sutton to have a spicy response, you would be disappointed. “I didn’t have a reaction,” Sutton stated. “Like, who cares? I don’t care.”

The host said, “All right. That’s your reaction.” Way to take the high road, Sutton! “I don’t care. No,” the RHOBH star added.

“Nothing can bother our zen Sutton,” Lauren added. “I mean, you know, why? It’s not going to bother me,” Sutton said. Good for Sutton. I love the chill, vortex-embracing Sutton that we have for Season 15.

Appearing on Tori Spelling’s MISSPELLING podcast this week, Botched icon and cosmetic surgeon to the stars, Dr Terry Dubrow, unpacked whether Brad has had any work done recently.

“Brad really looks good,” Terry said, adding: “[He] hasn’t aged at all.”

Commenting on whether Brad has good genes or simply a good doctor, Terry explained that while we don’t know for sure, the F1 actor may have gone under the knife. That said, Terry noted how there are no telltale signs of surgery.

“[He’s] sort of gotten away with it, and I don’t know what he’s done,” he said. “It doesn’t look like plastic surgery.”

Terry suggested that Brad’s youthful looks at 60+ could be down to his now-sober lifestyle, saying that he “doesn’t know” if there’s been a facelift along the way.

Nonetheless, Terry thinks Brad “looks good and not weird-looking.” As for why? “Because Brad’s looks are based on feminine beauty,” he explained. “If you look at him in Legends of the Fall, he’s hotter than any other female in the movie. He’s prettier. You can have feminizing plastic surgery, and it looks good.”

Previously, a number of plastic surgeons suggested Brad had gone under the knife following his divorce from Angelina Jolie. Describing Brad as in pursuit of a “revenge face,” one insider told Radar Online at the time: “He feels like death inside, but he’ll be damned if he’ll look like anything but a million bucks on the outside!”

“He’s done fillers, Botox and peels, plus had his eyes tweaked,” the source added.

New York News Anchor Ernie Anastos’ Cause of Death Confirmed

More details are surfacing about the death of a renowned news anchor this week. Ernie Anastos was a household name to many New Yorkers who worked for numerous major networks throughout his lengthy career.

Ernie’s life as a broadcaster spanned more than four decades, during which the Nashua-born personality covered several high-profile stories. Ernie suffered from a bout of pneumonia, which proved fatal. Tributes have been flowing in since news of his passing came down.

Ernie was a beloved figure in New York and among other anchors and a trusted voice throughout his career. His wife, Kelly, confirmed to CBS News that he died early Thursday morning at Northern Westchester Hospital. His experience included working at WCBS, WABC, Fox 5, and Channel 9.

Among the major events he covered in his career were the deaths of Princess Diana and John F. Kennedy Jr, plus the 9-11 terrorist attacks and the COVID-19 pandemic. “If there was a Mount Rushmore for news anchors in New York, Ernie would be one of the four faces,” said CBS news anchor Tony Aiello.

Throughout his time on the air, Ernie’s work earned him over 30 Emmy nominations, including a lifetime Emmy. He was also got the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for broadcast excellence.

By all accounts, CBS could use someone like him on their anchor roster right about now. In December, the appointment of Tony Dokoupil as an anchor for the network was met with widespread criticism. Many have deemed that appointment as a joke and an insult to those who’ve paid their dues in the industry.

Ernie was married to Kelly in November 1968. The couple had two children: a son, Phillip, and a daughter, Nina. They also had four grandchildren. Ernie was 82.

Kash Patel Confirms UFC Fighters Set to Train FBI Agents

Kash Patel has announced a historic collaboration between the FBI and the UFC. It will see fighters from the MMA promotion train the latter’s agents. Notably, this idea had been on the FBI director’s mind since last year. He suggested it in a teleconference shortly after he took office.

The UFC and the FBI recently announced an exclusive training seminar. Hosted by the former for academy students and senior FBI personnel from across the globe, it will be held on March 14 and 15, 2026. Athletes from the MMA promotion and matchmaker Mick Maynard will visit the Special Agent Academy in Quantico, Virginia. They will offer insight to agents about how they train for matches, while also demonstrating certain fighting techniques and tactics.

The collaboration is the result of the FBI’s broader initiative to give its agents new and exciting training opportunities. This is also part of the bureau’s efforts to revamp the organization and improve agents’ training to ensure both are in top form.

Patel recently shared a statement. It highlighted how the UFC seminar for the FBI would not only benefit the agents but also Americans. It also praised UFC CEO Dana White’s involvement. “I’m thrilled to announce this historic seminar between the FBI and the UFC at Quantico,” he shared. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our FBI agents to learn and train with some of the greatest athletes on earth – helping the world’s premier law enforcement agency be even better prepared to protect the American people.”

It continues, “Dana White has changed the game in the mixed martial arts industry and we’re extremely honored to be partnered with him, the professionals, and the UFC. We are grateful for their shared love of our nation, so that we can better defend her.”

Patel previously proposed a formal relationship between the FBI and UFC at a teleconference last year. He argued that this partnership would create programs helping agents improve their physical fitness. At the time, it was unclear how the director wanted the UFC to help.

In an interview with NewsNation correspondent Brian Entin, neighbor Aldine Meister reflected on the woman she remembers from the neighborhood. “She was a super sweet, kind woman, you know, a heart of gold and just really sweet from what I remember of her,” Meister said.

However, she also noted that she had not spoken with Guthrie in quite some time. “I hadn’t seen her in quite a few years,” Meister explained, adding that when she did occasionally spot her, it was usually from a distance. “Other than on in her driveway, walking my dog, or on her porch or something.”

Despite the limited contact in recent years, Meister said her earlier impressions of Guthrie remained positive. From the interactions she remembers, Guthrie came across as “a really kind lady,” she said.

Authorities say Guthrie was last believed to have been seen at her residence in Tucson on January 31, around 10 p.m. Her disappearance was reported the following day on February 1 when she didn’t show up for a regular church service. Since then, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI have continued to search for answers while investigating possible scenarios surrounding the case.

During the segment, Kelly was discussing a lawsuit involving author Amy Griffin. She pointed out the way big-name platforms promoted Griffin’s memoir without much scrutiny. While Kelly’s comments mainly focused on media responsibility, she paused to address Barrymore.

Kelly told her audience she met Barrymore “on vacation a couple months ago,” and said the encounter surprised her. She admitted, “She could not have been nicer. She was actually very cool,” adding that the two spoke privately about politics.

She further added, “I’m not going to repeat what she said, because it was private, but she was quite reasonable, and I’ve developed a fondness for her. I’m not going to lie.”

However, Kelly refrained from defending Barrymore’s work as an interviewer. As she played a clip from “The Drew Barrymore Show” featuring Griffin, Kelly criticized the soft approach and argued it reflected the format of the show, not necessarily the host.

Kelly emphasized, “Drew Barrymore is not a journalist. And I actually feel bad for her because her empathy was clearly taken advantage of.”
