Dorit Kemsley Was Wrong About Becoming Fast Friends With Erika Jayne
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Dorit Kemsley and her BFF Boy George were Andy Cohen‘s guests in the clubhouse last night on Watch What Happens Live. Boy George talked about the late George Michael and regrets over not meeting the late Michael Jackson. Dorit discussed Pantygate, Kim Richards‘ sobriety and more.
Is there anything that PK has said so far on the show that made Dorit cringe? “No. I’m so used to it, Andy. I hear it every day.”

Has Dorit ever taken a dip in the lady pond? “No, I haven’t.”
What is the origin of her accent? “I really don’t know. I don’t hear what everyone else hears. I would say it’s probably a combination of…” She then tries to explain that she traveled so much and is married to a Brit with such a thick London accent. “Of course my inflection is probably drawn from him.” Boy George says she gets very Italian when she’s cooking.
Andy asks about Boy George‘s relationship with the late George Michael since they came up at the same time in the music business. “In the early days we were really in competition, then later on I really started to appreciate what he was as a musician. Around “Faith” I started to appreciate he is talent.” Was he in touch in the later years? “On and off.” He says he had read stuff in the papers about his personal issues, but that George Michael kept people out in those later years. Boy George then reveals that he met Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris this week and his biggest regret is that he never met Michael while he was alive.
Does Dorit blame herself for the girls continuously bringing up Pantygate since she was the one who made it a big deal. “I did initiate the conversation with the girls, so I have to take responsibility for that. But, as I learned, once things come out of your mouth, they sort of take on a life of their own and then they escalate. Particularly within a group of women, you have to be accountable for what you say.”
Andy says that a lot of viewers wanted to know why she got mad at Erika Jayne when it was PK who had been staring at ‘the goods’? Did she get mad at PK for staring? “Of course not. First of all, I never got mad at Erika. I simply said that if I was wearing a short dress and didn’t have underwear on, I would’ve been extremely conscious that there’s no view. It’s a mishap. It sort of happened. Once we sort of had that discussion of it, I really wanted to make light of it and that’s where the whole gift thing happens.”
A viewer asks if Dorit really didn’t remember her dinner conversation with Lisa Rinna? “Of course I remembered my conversation with Rinna. I didn’t remember that tiny little snippet about Eileen during a very long dinner conversation with Rinna.”
Boy George says that what Caitlyn Jenner has done is very brave and that she comes to join him on one of his tasks on Celebrity Apprentice this season.
Out of all the housewives, who turned out to be the most different from her initial impressions of them? “Erika. I think before I met her, I thought we’d be fast friends. I thought her and I were very similar but I didn’t know her. She takes a minute to get to know. She’s definitely more guarded.”
Why was she so rude about Erika‘s success and career? “I didn’t meant to be rude. I didn’t really know much about her and at the time I heard she was a performer but I didn’t necessarily know that she was such a successful performer and artist.” George is giggling next to her and says “sometimes you just don’t answer.”
Who did George like working with more on Apprentice: Kyle Richards or Porsha Williams? “Porsha’s a lot of fun. She’s hilarious, but I’m not sure how good she was at the tasks. But she was a lot of fun to hang out with, she’s a blast. But my favorite person was Carson Kressley. Every task he was genius. He knows everything about everything.”
A caller asks Dorit if she feels Rinna is hypocritical talking about Kim‘s sobriety when Lisa Rinna is carrying a huge bag of pills. (In Lisa’s defense, it was a whole lot of vitamins and supplements..) Dorit says, “Lisa Rinna’s not sober and Kim Richards is. So, I don’t really compare the two. I don’t think she’s hypocritical in that sense. It was a tad judgemental perhaps because Kim is really in a good place.”

Celebrity Big Brother Recap – Day 21 & Eviction Night
It’s day 21 in the Celebrity Big Brother house! Spencer Pratt has been up to his tricks during the night. Coleen Nolan was asleep in bed, and Spencer pulls the cover off her and talks and makes noises in her face. She’s telling James Cosmo outside and she’s frustrated that not one person told him to stop, and says they’re all scared of him.
Stacy and Jessica Cunningham are talking. One of Jessica’s reasons for nominating Stacy was that she hoards food, but Stacy is trying to explain why she does so, based on experiences that happened before Jessica came in. She says she always gives it out too, but Jedward just eats everything so it was too keep food away from them. She starts getting into an argument with Jessica, walks away and straight into another bicker with Kim Woodburn. Hopefully she’s getting them all out the way for a peaceful rest-of-day.
Calum Best talks to Speidi about Coleen. He tells them that they may not be meaning it quite so personal but she is taking it, and Spencer says that he won’t go for him anymore and they are basically trying to get a reaction out of James C.
James C and Coleen tell Jamie off for the episode and for not coming to her aid and laughing. He explains that he thought it was just a laugh, but she explains it may have been to Spencer but not to her. He apologizes and takes the scalding like a man, and James C goes in the diary room expressing his disappointment in his fellow housemates.
Nicola McLean is talking to Coleen and Stacy, and saying that whilst she may be seeing things she doesn’t like and keeping quiet because she’s scared, she’s not happy that James C is saying he’s disappointed in the house, when really the house should be saying they’re disappointed in him for putting them in the situation by voting for Speidi. Erm, sweetie, is that not a bit twisted logic. Should someone one be disappointed in Speidi (well, Spencer) for acting sulky childish brats??? Man up Woman! Nicola was swimming along nicely for the first couple of weeks, and now she’s turning into a real nightmare.
Stacy and Nicola are arguing again. About the same thing they argued about earlier. They literally just keep recapping the same thing. They separate, Jessica goes to the kitchen, Stacy stays in the bedroom, Jessica makes a cup of tea, walks back in the bedroom and they go again. #boring #cameratime
11.18pm and Jedward are dancing in the mirror. At 25 years old. Dancing. Words fail me
In the Kitchen Bianca drags Jamie into the toilet. Slurring. With some bizarre noises coming from there. She tells him to mind the zip. Nice. So romantic, till we remember the fella on the outside. Poor Jamie, but can see why Jedward are in the bedroom out the way now. The noises!!
Jamie and Bianca end up in the kitchen having a heart to heart. Not one close enough to confess to aforementioned secret fella though. They end up in bed telling each other they love each other. After 21 days. Maybe it’s me being cynical, I see magazine deals and break ups. The Joys
Even worse, Jedward dress up in pizza boxes and try waking people up in the bedroom. Nicola ends up telling them off. Again. 25 years old. Unbelievable.
Short episode tonight due to the eviction, and there’s a lot of crowd noise shouting to get Spencer out, but also cheers when the names mentioned. Kim gets mad boos, the worst of the lot. However, despite the noise, Stacy Francis is 6th to be evicted. It’s a vote to save though, so the fact she has less of a fan base over here probably has a lot to do with it. She looks fine about leaving, and has a cutesy little voice on to say goodbye. Perhaps she thinks we missed the screaming. Hope someone remembers to empty her drawers. She pulled a banana out of there earlier, so who knows what’s left in.
We finish the program with the promise of 2 housemates leaving at next eviction so they’re dropping like flies. I’m sure Big Brother has some tricks up his sleeves before then though…..

Joseline Hernandez Drops A Major Bomb About Co-Stars Rasheeda And Kirk Frost While Guest Hosting On The Real!
Love her or hate her, you can’t argue that the self-proclaimed Puerto Rican princess is highly entertaining. Whether she’s dogging her ex Stevie J. (or “Stevie Lame” as she calls him) or calling out her co-stars, Joseline Hernandez is always over the top.
Even though the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star just had a baby with Stevie (oh the drama between these two!), she knows she has to keep the cash flow coming. Joseline has cleaned up rather nicely (that’s an understatement, she looks gorgeous) for her recent guest hosting gig on The Real. In fact, she’ll be on today spilling the latest gossip on her co-stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost.

When asked about the couple (who has had their fair share of ups and downs throughout the shows run…remember that motorcycle mow-down??), Joseline gushes, “I love Rasheeda. She’s a good lady. And she’s been married… I think they’ve been married for like fifteen years.”
However, it is unclear whether Rasheeda will reciprocate that love when she hears what Joseline has to say. Joseline continues, ‘[T]his is what I always say about people that’s doing reality TV. Don’t come in there faking it. ‘Cause guess what, it always come out in the light. So you come up in there, you know, for six years. You think, you know, you showing to the world, ‘Oh we perfect. Nothing ever happened to us.’ If you notice, on Love & Hip Hop, Rasheeda and Kirk is always the cleanest one. Right?”
I guess “clean” with this crew is all relative! Joseline reminds the audience, “[S]o they never have no tea going on,” adding, “But guess what, when you faking it, the truth always come out. So you know what, I hear in Atlanta. I know a lot of people. You know, I stay in the streets. I keep my ears close to the street, okay. I got to know what’s going on honey. I got to be prepared for them little…”
Finally, Joseline drops the bomb, announcing, “The word is that he do got a baby and you know, it’s not from Rasheeda. It’s from some ex-stripper that used to…”
She then jokes, “Honey, how do the strippers get their coins? Don’t hate the game, hate the playa. No wait, don’t hate the playa, hate the game.” Joseline would certainly know, wouldn’t she? Make sure to tune in to today’s episode of The Real!

Cynthia Bailey Thinks Porsha Williams Overreacted To Kenya Moore’s Anger Management Questions
The first rule of anger management classes is: Don’t talk about anger management classes! At least, that seemed to apply when Kenya Moore brought the taboo topic up with Porsha Williams on Real Housewives Of Atlanta this week. Although, let’s get real – Kenya wasn’t asking for information or clarity – girlfriend was itching to see Porsha pop off again. Cynthia Bailey doesn’t seem to understand this point though.
In her blog, Cynthia celebrates her move to the lake house and wonders why things got “so dramatic” at Phaedra Parks’ dinner. Cynthia begins by discussing her time as Kandi Burruss’ house guest: “I had a really fun time staying with Kandi. Although she didn’t seem that happy to see me when me (and my Fruit Loops) first I arrived at her house, we ended up having the best time. We spent hours laughing, talking, and watching movies.”

Although Kandi didn’t really expect Cynthia to take her up on the offer of crashing at her pad, Cynthia insinuates that the pleasure was all hers! (Kandi’s, that is.) “For the record, I am a wonderful house guest. I am very low maintenance, and I bring everything that I could possibly need. Febreeze included! She loved having me, and was an awesome host. We definitely bonded, and I’m sure she is counting the days for me to come back to visit.”
But Cynthia is ready to move on to her own digs at the lake now. She gushes, “I have officially moved into Lake Bailey, and I love it. It is so beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil. I feel like I am on vacation every day in my own home. Lake Bailey was my gift from me to me. I am so grateful to God for blessing me with this house.”
Regarding Phaedra’s dinner, at which everything took a left turn after Kenya needled questioned Porsha, Cynthia claims she is still baffled.

Cynthia blogs, “I was actually surprised that it got so dramatic. Phaedra‘s glamping trip was going to be the first time that we all went away together for a few days since the altercation in the alley between Porsha and her friend Jamie at the Christmas party. The incident was never really discussed amongst all the ladies to my knowledge, and I am still not sure how or why it happened.”
Yes, but why was the anger management brought up THERE and THEN? Cynthia feebly attempts to explain that “there was some concern about this being our first trip together since the incident. Also, Kenya had mentioned to me that she had recently had lunch with Phaedra, and Phaedra told her that Porsha was in anger management and actually wanted to share the news with us.”
“It all seemed very positive, and was looking forward to the update. According to Kenya and Phaedra’s recent conversation, I thought this would be a great opportunity for Porsha to share what she felt comfortable sharing and move on,” claims Cynthia, who is either remaining willfully obtuse about the underlying shadiness of the situation, or is simply too overjoyed to be free of Peter Thomas to care about this messy drama anymore. In either case, she seems to be playing it safe this season. Not that I can blame her!

Eileen Davidson Thinks Kim Richards’ Sobriety Should Be Off Limits; Laughs Off Lisa Rinna’s Bag Of Pills
Questions and utter confusion about sobriety abound on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, but Eileen Davidson thinks everyone should just shut their traps about it. And I’m beginning to agree. It’s taken over the theme of this season’s RHOBH, and gives life to Kim Richards’ many, many issues without offering any real solutions. Not a viable – or even very interesting – storyline, to be sure.
Eileen blogs about Eden Sassoon’s meddling, Dorit Kemsley’s penchant for broadcasting rumors, and her desire to “hit the reset button” on just about everything. After Eileen shares the sad news that her family has experienced “another tragic loss” recently, she expresses the desire to get “back on track after last week’s lunch” with Dorit. Rollerblading helped, even though there was no tequila to be had!

Gushing over Erika Girardi and Kyle Richards’ Mykonos adventure, Eileen writes, “Both Erika and Kyle are killing it at this time in their lives. I love seeing women going out there and realizing their greatness. You go, girls!”
But when it comes to Kyle’s sister, Kim, Eileen has decided that it’s best to say as little as possible. She blogs, “The only thing I have to say about Kim Richards is that she seems happy, healthy and excited about the future.”
“I believe that Lisa [Rinna] and Eden want to be helpful, but I’m not sure talking about Kim and Kyle in relation to substance abuse is helping anyone. Just like we hit the reset button at lunch last week, I don’t think it’s too late to hit the reset button on discussing Kim’s sobriety.” Maybe it isn’t too late, but with Kim appearing on every other episode of RHOBH, she is setting herself up for a mess. Maybe it’s time to hit reset on her contract?

In more lighthearted fare, the ladies were treated to a Boy George concert at PK Kemsley’s birthday party – the ’80s live on! And not only in Eileen’s purse collection. Eileen wistfully reminisces, “At PK’s birthday party, I think all of our 1980’s dreams came true when Culture Club was unveiled. It brought me right back to driving around Hollywood, going to auditions in my convertible Alfa Romeo, and singing ‘Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma, Chameleon.'”
And Boy George was spot on about Dorit’s tendency to spread gossip – a trait she shares with loose lips Rinna, it seems. Eileen breaks down the pill bag issue: “Boy George stated before he fled the scene, ‘Telephone, Telegram, Tell Dorit!’ Lisa R.’s ‘pill bag’ is just another example of this convoluted game of telephone that keeps getting played. Dorit told Lisa [Vanderpump] that Lisa R. took out a bag full of pills and shared it as ‘gossip.’ Not sure why it took her so long to admit they were just vitamins and a couple sleeping pills. Do you really think if Lisa R. had a giant bag full of prescription drugs she’d pull it out in front of everyone? Twice?”
Eileen jokes, “It’s enough to make you wanna throw a whole bag of Xanax in a smoothie!”

Vanderpump Rules Cast Defends Brittany Cartwright’s Mom Against Accusations Of Homophobia After Jax Taylor’s Roast
Aside from being eternally mystified by angel Brittany Cartwright’s ability to put up with Jax Taylor’s antics, another thing that made me question the staying power of their relationship was when Brittany’s mom Sherri Cartwright visited the couple when the Vanderpump Rules cast was roasting Jax for his birthday. Just like her daughter, Mrs. Cartwright let a lot of things slide when it comes to Jax’s behavior, but a lot of fans felt like she had way too strong of a reaction to the male hookup rumors and accused Sherri of being homophobic.
Luckily for Sherri, Brittany’s Pump Rules costars stepped in to defend her reaction and her support of the LGBTQ community. Unfortunately for Sherri, it didn’t seem like Sherri’s (possible) future son-in-law did much to have her back.

When Jax appeared on Watch What Happens Live on the same night that the roast episode aired, Jax was asked about Sherri’s reaction and he gave a pretty weak answer in her defense. All Jax said was, “I have to take into consideration where she’s brought up. She’s in the Bible Belt in Kentucky – very different from how I grew up. So, I have to take that into consideration.”
I get that the Cartwrights don’t live in West Hollywood and that probably does factor into what they are used to seeing, but I feel like Jax should’ve adamantly asserted that Sherri is not homophobic – if that is the case.
Just a few episodes ago, I remember thinking it was so sweet when Jax talked about how much he admired Brittany for going in to work the gay pride again the day after the Orlando shooting when a lot of their coworkers stayed home. He even referred to her as “bad ass,” which I thought was super cute. It’s clear that Brittany supports the LGBT community and to be honest it did not seem like Sherri was actually homophobic in the most recent Pump Rules episode, though I can see why people would have a negative response to her remarks.

During the same WWHL appearance, openly gay host Andy Cohen remarked, “Also, you find out that your daughter’s boyfriend has maybe done it with guys, you might be interested in that.”
I think it’s valid to have an interest in those rumors, as Brittany‘s mother was very vocal about wanting the couple to get married before the roast. Sherri could have had more sensitive wording, but Sherri really did not come off hateful or homophobic to me. Don’t get me wrong, it did not come off well, but I really don’t think Sherri completely realized.
Stassi Schroeder (Jax’s most infamous ex girlfriend) spoke out in Sherri and Brittany’s defense on Twitter: “Britt & her mom are HUGE #LGBTQ activists. Any mom would be concerned if she heard her daughter’s bf might not be into her.” I actually agree with Stassi’s wording on this one.

Sherri (who I saw only joined Twitter in July 2016) replied to Stassi’s tweet: “I do not hate gay people I love everyone. I was only asking Jax things about the roast. I would never offend anyone!!” Sherri owned up for her poor wording and tweeted, “I love all people. I’m not anyone’s judge. Again I apologize.”
Kristen Doute took to Twitter to defend Sherri as well and wrote, “Britt’s mom couldn’t be MORE supportive of the #LGBTQ community.” Kristen also quoted Stassi’s tweet and added, “We love you Sherri!” with a heart emoji. Brittany did not say anything about her mom, but she did tweet, “I always have and always will support the LGBTQ community no matter what!”
I wish Jax and Brittany were more vocal about the situation, but thankfully everyone Jax has slept with is inexplicably loyal to him and they chose to speak out on Sherri’s behalf. I’m thinking that Brittany and Jax might not have been as outspoken as I would expect because it looks like this is still an ongoing story line for the next episode. So maybe they will have more definitive things to say once that airs? Or at the very least, they will realize that they need to take the time to thoughtfully address this situation.

Celebrity Big Brother Recap: Day 20 – Nominations For Eviction
It’s the joy that is Celebrity Big Brother nomination day… and the aftermath that comes with it.
After the fallout of the previous evening, Nicola chose not to sleep in her normal bed next to Speidi. Stacy speaks to Jessica and Nicola and tells them not to bring the whole Speidi thing up when they’re drinking. Also, she points out to Jessica that she is the last person that should have the conversation as she barely knows her. How long were the first batch of housemates in then???

Heidi feels bad that Nicola didn’t sleep in the bed last night and says that she wants to be more neutral towards her. Spencer isn’t for giving up yet and says Heidi can speak to her, but he won’t. Not sure it’ll be an issue then. In a similarly themed conversation outside, Stacy is asking Nicola about whether they can make some sort of peace for the sake of the house, but Nicola tells her that after the way they’ve treated her, she wants nothing to do with them. To be fair, Nicola is coming across as bad as Speidi now.
Moving on to the next drama, Kim is doing laundry and takes Stacy’s dirty stuff out of the washer to do hers. Now bear in mind, Stacy was nowhere near the washer at the time, so when she comes in and asks where it is, Kim apologies and offers to take her stuff out straightaway. Stacy says it’s fine, but Kim offers to put them both in together, but again she says its fine. All seems good, both ladies play nice, but then Stacy walks out from the store room and goes straight into the bedroom to slate her to anyone that listens.
A little later, Stacy approaches Kim about the washer, and Kim points out that she knows Stacy has been stirring things around the house and tackles her about it. They leave the relatively peaceful and empty bedroom to literally (and deliberately) have the argument in front of everyone!! Stacy even admits that she had walked out the store room fine about it, but then she simmered. This stinks of desperation for airtime, especially relocating it for an audience. The volume grew with Stacy as much as the people watching.
In the madness, Heidi approaches Nicola and they talk. Heidi puts it down to miscommunication and asks to be able to move forward. Nicola apologizes again and gets teary. Then it’s all love and hugs again.
And now to the juicy stuff. Earlier, housemates had been called to the diary room to make the nominations. They go as follows:
Speidi – Colleen (calls 2 faced, closest to James C, so if they can’t get him, she’s next best) and Nicola (she betrayed them and broke their Big Brother heart)
Colleen – Kim (aggressive game plan for two days and now snow white) and Jedward (says they’re quite sweet but bizarre, they won’t listen, and can be nasty)
James C – Kim (condescending to younger housemates, doesn’t communicate) and Jedward (excessive food consumption, no considerations, and continuous performances)
Jedward – Stacy (screams all the time, drama queen) and Nicola (tries to start fights, causes tension, ringleader)
Nicola – Kim (taken a snow white pill, not forgiven for initial behavior) and Jedward (snide comments)
Jamie – Kim (doesn’t like her or the way she spoke to him, used personal info to hurt) and Jessica (feels awkward around her, she always wants to be involved)
Jessica – Stacy (turns too easily) and Jamie (made comments about her)
Calum – Kim (started fights but completely changed now, so confused as to real character) and Jedward (too defensive, won’t take constructive criticism)
Bianca – Kim (for initial behavior) and Jedward (can’t take criticism)
Stacy – Jessica (combative, doesn’t like her coming in 10 days afterwards) and Kim (again, doesn’t like late entrance, sensitive, and washing machine argument)
Kim – Stacy (feels like she has to walk on egg shells) and Nicola (never got on from the start, calls Nicola a liar)
Big Brother tells the housemates that every person that received at least one nomination is now up for eviction. Remember: Speidi are eternally nominated, hence no nominations, and James is eternally immune.
Kim is the last person to vote and Nicola straight away confronts her, quite aggressively, asking what she’s lied about. I think Kim is getting all the pent up feelings from the Speidi Kerfuffle. Kim, give her her due (though it pains me to say so), tries to diffuse the situation, saying it’s just her vote, they all have to do it, and she is entitled to her opinions.
Kim is right. Everyone has to ‘take it on the chin’ but Nicola is not for letting go. She even vents to Speidi (progress or blind fury??) and is screaming and shouting. Kim starts retorting, not at the same volume but rising, telling her to “Grow up! You’re a mum, grow up!” to which Nicola replies “And you’re not, and that’s your problem! If you want to go low, I’ll go lower!”
Now this is completely uncalled for and where Nicola has really made a mistake. Kim, in her autobiography that was released, tells about in 1965, when she was a young unmarried girl, she gave birth prematurely to a still born little boy. The stigma was there at the time so she had to go through the labor by herself, and buried the little boy in a park. She had been nearly six months pregnant, and I can’t imagine how that experience must have been.
This hit the papers quite a lot here, and the police even investigated, so Nicola must have known. I do hope she didn’t though, as I don’t think that’s even classed as a low blow, so much lower.
Thankfully, Jamie gets in the middle of both women and the argument dies. We move to later in the evening and Spencer is on the wind up with Coleen. He tells her that her sister will have spent all the money last week so she’ll be out this week. Colleen gives as good as she gets, and says that he may think himself the expert gamer, but he’s got everything wrong so far. She also points out she has four sisters, two brothers, and three kids, so all’s good. Score for Colleen.
James C is in the diary room talking about how Speidi are going for people he’s close to, to try and get at him. He can’t rationalize their behavior and puts it down to professional reality people playing games, but he seems bewildered and disappointed in it.
Outside, as if to prove a point, Spencer is telling Coleen that she’s is a better actor than her friends. She asks if he means the A list actor, and he tells her that James C hasn’t been A list since the ‘90’s. Coleen points out Game of Thrones, and Spencer loses all validity by saying that the fact his own men knifed him, shows what character he has. At this point, I look to the skies to see if I can spot dragons, seeing as apparently that show is actually real. Strange. (And no dragons).
Later, Nicola and Speidi seem to make amends and hug. Call me a cynic, I’m not sure how genuine this is, or if Spencer is playing the game. We cut to Speidi in the diary room and they (Spencer) seems to have changed targets to Coleen and James C. I’m not sure they’ll be as easy, as Nicola and Spencer may have bitten off more than he can chew. Spencer blames lapse of game play for him being nominated, and Old Speidi appears to have returned, unfortunately. Such a shame, and I hope they see sense and gain grace. They could have really turned their reputation around, and actually were doing, but it just seems to be slipping again. Only time will tell.

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Recap: When Puss Comes To Pat
Like the ziplock baggie in Lisa Rinna‘s purse, last night’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills had a little bit of everything, and something for everyone.
Oh Lisa Vanderpump – you saucy minx! I see your redemption campaign, smiling blithely, supremely feigning ignorance to any possible schemes, handing Dorit Kemsley a mirror and instructing her how to amputate her nose to spite her face, defending the maligned, innocent Kim Richards… I think Ms. LVP missed her calling in politics!
Last night had a tricky little moment between LVP and Dorit, didn’t it? Dorito had descended from her Nacho Cheese Delusions and spent the entire episode getting into my good graces, and also the good graces of Lipsa and Eileen Davidson, but in the last few moments, as if a switch was flipped, she all of a sudden turned a bit vituperative. Seeming to plant, to a scandalized, yet dismissive LVP that Lipsa is carrying around baggies of drugs. Now, before LVP could start alerting the police, Dorit was quick to add, as an afterthought that, the pills were “mostly” vitamins.

What made this reveal so odd, is how the subject was introduced: out of nowhere. It just seemed, well, plotted. Lisa’s reaction seemed a bit too practiced, and Dorit’s segue into this conversation, inauthentic. I was happy to see LVP dismiss it as nonsense, but we all know it won’t be the end of it. It made me start to think it’s some sort of scheme, Dorit weasels her way to the inner-circle, Trojan Horse-style, and they never see her coming as she strikes from the inside. Clearly I expect way too much genius from my Housewives.
I am just gonna say it though, and you can vow to never read these recaps again if you don’t like it, but I almost believe LVP is now manipulating on purpose. And doing one better by showing her hand in the process, like, ‘Oh you want to call me manipulative? Well, watch me work, my darlings!’
Well, anyway, other than that moment I found this episode to be an absolute delight! I personally love seeing the ladies have fun, glamming around in their beautiful clothes through their sublime houses, patting a purse that costs more than my own house. I even found Kyle Richards lovely this episode! How gorgeous did she look all sun-kissed and rosy in Greece? I don’t care if she had on 10lbs of Erika Jayne glam squad to create that glow, it worked.
Kyle and Erika are in Mykonos to introduce the world to the power of Erika VaJayneJay. It’s something – just ask Peek-K! Well they’re having a wonderful time. Erika waxes rhapsodically that she never imagined women could be her friends, or be so fun and enjoyable. Erika wonders what she’s been missing all these years, cozying up geriatric millionaires and the gays who metaphorically pat her puss, her puss being synonymous with her ego.

Who knew Kyle could spawn the awakening of Erika Girardi, when the rest of the world – ostensibly – is clamoring for the awakening of their inner-Erika Jaynes? Look at you, Kyle, being a public servant! An activist for girl power. Let yourself feel the movement underneath your caftan.
Over dinner, Kyle tells a charming story of her mother hauling a toddler-aged Kyle out of bed and forcing her to perform like a trained monkey on the set of Little House On The Prairie. I feel Kyle trying to sell the softer side of her mommie dearest, but ugh!
Then Erika, covered in sequins, climbed a 100 foot scaffolding built into a cliff to sing her puss-powered anthems. She fears for her safety, but alas one must suffer for their art! Sadly, without her ponytail helicopter, Splits was rendered pretty-much danceless.
Back in L.A., Eileen, Lipsa, and Dorit really meant what they said about pressing this “reset” button. They head deep into Valley, probably treading dangerously close to the lair of Brandi Glanville, to teach Dorit to rollerblade. Odd, but cute. Lipsa finds Dorit irresistibly charming, and if she really means they can start afresh following their squabble, then this could be the makings of a beautiful friendship. Oh Lipsa, careful there – you better eat those words and not even bother to count the calories!
To demonstrate their reset, they call Kyle and Erika in Greece to wish Erika good luck. Erika is quite surprised by this turn of events. She has already recognized that one must keep their puss covered and well-guarded around Dorit … lest she start handing out undies at a party!
Oh, and speaking of parties, it is PK’s 49th birthday. Is that cause for celebration? Guess so! Everything must be purrrrfect for the man who has everything except dignity and class! Dorit is throwing him a party, and she wonders if Lipsa would mind terribly if she invited Rambles. Lipsa is overjoyed that someone cares about her opinion for once. I am not overjoyed that Bravo continues to try and make Rambles KimKillah Richards, ticking time bomb of the BH, happen. She and Kingsley need to go like fetch and leave the vernacular of Real Housewives.
Now this party must be planned to exaltation especially because Boy George will be serenading PK with a private concert – something he NEVER does for his close friends. Also Dorit wants to somehow hide that Boy George will be performing by building a secret stage hidden behind a partition. Why not just have a phony band, then midway through have Culture Club appear as if from nowhere? Honestly though, was this Peek-K’s birthday, or a Boy George advertisement? Either way, I don’t think hiding Boy George by telling your collective guests you have mold is the best plan. I mean, there was mold there, but Dorit is correct in that it wasn’t growing on her ceiling! It was growing on the soggy feuds of Housewives.
Meanwhile Eden Sassoon has gleaned an invitation to Villa Rosa so LVP can investigate her. Eden has high standards, and is an arbiter on how one should behave and why. In fact she recently dumped a man for calling her Type A while eating a cheeseburger cause she was forcing him to quit smoking. Now Eden has decided it’s her mission to save Kim Richards from herself, and to save Kyle Richards from Kim Richards.
Now, I fully believe Kyle is an enabler. I don’t blame Kyle at all. I get it. I also fully believe Eden is correct in her assessment of Kim’s intransigence and that she’s merely a ‘dry drunk,’ not sober. But, A) Eden doesn’t know these people; B) she’s trying to re-write her own relationship with her sister through ‘saving’ Rambles and Splits, and ain’t no crystals in the world able to fix that Twisted Sisters mess! Not an exorcism, not an Andy Cohen check, not a reality show putting them on blast time and time again, and certainly not new-age So-Cal hippie who bought over-prized zen from an ashram retreat and is now rebranding herself a guru. Maybe Richards Simmons could fix Rambles and Splits, but nothing less zany, nutty, and filled with bottomless love should touch that mess. (I should mention that I adore Richard Simmons.)

Since conquering one is not enough, Eden invites Lipsa and Dorit over for smoothies. This was a cute scene. They were all laughing and connecting. Lipsa jokes about throwing the occasional Xanax in her smoothie, and then whips out a giant Ziploc of pills and vitamins, which honestly was mostly Tylenol and weird ‘If I could turn back time…’ vitamins, mixed in with the odd Xanax. She jokes about being the Beverly Hills medicine woman, then Eden drops that she’s sober from alcohol but still takes pills. All the while Dorit is laughing and playing along, and seemingly having a grand old time, but the revelations leave her perplexed. Apparently she needs LVP’s advice to digest this matter.
You know Lipsa probably bought most of those pills in a post-Lyme treatment fire sale in Yolanda Foster’s walk-in pill closet. (Kidding!) But I mean, the way Bravo is always on one medical detective mess after another, you can’t blame a gal for being prepared! I personally found Lipsa yanking out that wrinkled Ziploc hilarious, and Eden and Dorit gleefully joined her in playing ‘Where’s Xanax?’ hiding amid the mess of multi-vitamins and adrenal supplements. Actually Lipsa should do a ‘Where’s Xanax?’ coffee table book.
After the Erika Jayne performance, which took place at 3 am!, she decides there is literally no time like the present for a sunrise bikini photo shoot. Kyle just wants to eat pasta in peace, but after muuuuuch cajoling (eye roll), Erika forces Kyle to strap on some macrame. Kyle feigns false modesty, and then, as if she’s been practicing for her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit moment all her life, strikes a pose! I actually loved Kyle this episode – she rolled with all the punches and had fun. I really like Kyle when she’s not playing Rambles KimKillah’s soldier, or social climbing so hard she’s scaling the platform Erika performed on, or hawking caftans.
Kyle returns home the day of PK’s party and is greeted with a call from LVP wanting to know about the trip. All seemed pleasant and nice, and the party started off swimmingly. Everyone was there – even Camille Grammer! Even Kim is even managing to conduct herself enough to get along with Lipsa and Eileen. Even PK was kind and gracious, showing manners he unearthed from deep within in the recesses of his slug-like soul. Unfortunately Eden is circling around Kim like a shark, waiting for the morsel of ‘insobriety’ to drop. When Kim mentions being really anxious for the birth of her grandchild, Eden wonders if that’s a trigger for Kim… Eden, girl, you’re digging. You’re digging your own grave, actually. Watch it – you’ll be the next Slut Pig! Even Lipsa is like, ‘Don’t DO THIS NOW EDEN!’
All the whilst Dorit is telling everyone the curtains they’ve erected on the side of the room are there to hide “significant water damage.” The ladies buy it like discount Chanel, except for LVP, who realizes right away that PK and Dorit have some scheme up their curtains. Because, honestly, in a house that big why wouldn’t you have the party in a different room? The real mystery is why Lipsa was dressed like a stewardess from the 1980’s.

Kyle arrives last, in a dress channeling her inner-Erika Jayne. Another one converted to the pussy pat army!
Then Dorit leaps in front of the curtains, and her dress, literally matches them completely – the dress actually had a curtain attached to its shoulders – to declare that PK is the “soul-to-her-mate” and because of this, she has a surprise gift for all of guests. It’s Boy George! Cue obligatory freak out. Kim is a huge fan and rambled all over George until he took the world’s most askew selfie to extract himself from a Twisted Richards Sandwich. Then Eileen noticed that Dorit was an uncannily good at lying about what was behind her curtains… and like Erika considers herself warned (I know Eileen was being sarcastic here, BTW.).
But the party had a fun, super silly vibe and no one was being weird except Eden, who left early. Immediately after her exit, Kim pounces on Kyle to complain that Eden was investigating her. Kim had that scratchy raspiness in her voice that always precedes bad, bad, BAD things. Then, in the back corner, Dorit, out of nowhere, starts telling this awkward anecdote about Lipsa’s baggies of pills. (Note – Keep KimKillah Richards away form Rinna’s purse – she doesn’t need a pick pocketing charge!). And just when I was starting to change my opinion about Dorit too!
The whole thing was just… askew somehow. “Telephone! Telegram! Tell Dorit!” muses George. I think it’s been established that Dorit likes to talk. Too much. LVP shrugs that if Lipsa has a problem, per se, then her carrying around a baggie of pills is a bigger problem, but if she’s just your casual Beverly Hills vitamin abuser, then really, who’s counting? Well, I think LVP is. Always counting that is…
TELL US – IS DORIT UP TO SOMETHING? OR AM I OVER-REACTING? IS EDEN OVERLY-OBSESSED WITH KIM OR IS HER CONCERN NECESSARY?
