Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey and comedian Sandra Bernhard, who hosts Sandyland on Radio Andy, were Andy Cohen‘s guests on Watch What Happens Live tonight. Cynthia defended her flip flop flippity flop flapper behavior, dished on Kim Fields and Kenya Moore‘s feud, and shared the current status of her marriage (shocker: it’s not good) with Peter Thomas.
About not claiming Kenya as her best friend, Cynthia maintains, “I don’t really feel like I was backing away. The bestie word came up – and we’re not best friends, we’re not BFFs, we’re not besties, we’re not any of those things. We’re really really good friends – very close. I love Kenya. We have never referred to each other as best friends.”

Why are Kim and Kenya at odds? “I’m not really sure because they were cool when Kim came on the show. Kenya and Kim were friends, actually, so I am not really sure where it all went to the left.”
About recent reports which claim Cynthia and Peter have separated, Cynthia says, “We are definitely going through some stuff. We’re always going through some stuff, but we are in a much better place than we were months ago.”
Why didn’t Cynthia stand up for Kim when Kenya went in on her? “First of all, we’re always getting verbally attacked by different people on the show. It’s just part of being on the show. I felt like Kim handled herself to be honest, and I did not feel like she needed any help.”
A caller asks Cynthia if Kenya is pregnant (a rumor Phaedra Parks started on Dish Nation). “I hope so,” she admits. “I think Kenya’s going to be a great mom.”
About Peter giving Matt a hard time in Jamaica, Cynthia insists, “I think they were just trying to get to know him. I think Matt was being a little standoffish in the beginning. I didn’t feel like it was situation that needed to escalate. I felt like they were just playfully giving him a hard time and he didn’t feel like playing.”
