Southern Charm Star Cameran Eubanks Gave Birth To A Baby Girl!
After many Southern Charm seasons debating the possibility of becoming a mother, Cameran Eubanks is now the proud parent of a baby girl.
Cameran and her husband Jason Wimberly (who has never appeared on the show) welcome their first child together over the weekend.
Cameran shared the news of the birth via Instagram post, writing: “Palmer Corrine Wimberly touched down 11/11/17 at 8:37 am. 7 pounds 3 oz 20 inches long. Wildest experience of my life!” She also joked, “Jason is recovering and doing well.”
A rep for Cameran told People, “Mom and baby are doing well.” It is unclear if Cameran and baby Palmer will appear on Southern Charm, but considering that Jason has never been on the show, that is very doubtful.
Even though Cameran expressed how hesitant she was to get pregnant, she could not wait to give birth to Palmer. On November 8, 2017, Cameran revealed that she was past her due date in an Instagram post, writing, “Yes I’m alive. Yes I’m still pregnant. Tried all the old wives tales…I’m glad that standing on your head chanting the Lords Prayer while drinking spoiled goats milk worked for you…but it ain’t working for me.”

Kenya Moore Reveals How She Met Her Husband Marc Daly
As of now, Kenya Moore’s marriage with Marc Daly is a total mystery. Hopefully she reveals more as this Real Housewives of Atlanta season rolls on, but as of this moment there are more questions than answers.
The biggest question that both Kenya’s fans and haters want to know is if this relationship is for real.
Kenya opened up about her relationship with Marc in a Bravo blog post. She was actually introduced to Marc by fellow Bravolebrity Chef Roble. Kenya explained, “I’ve known Chef Roble for a few years. We have always been friendly, and he’s a sweet guy. When he invited me to a restaurant my husband co-owned at the time, I was in a dark place, but something told me to go.”
She continued, “My husband was there finishing up work, and Chef introduced me to him on his way out. After Marc left, Chef Roble spoke so highly of him. He explained that he was a former Wall Street banker and entrepreneur who wants to help people. I asked myself, ‘How come I can’t meet a guy like that?‘” Eventually she did and she is the one who made it happen. Kenya revealed, “In December, I reached out to Chef Roble on a whim to see if Marc was single. Yes, I broke the rules and made the first move. I’ve never done that, but I’m glad I did!”
Even though Cynthia Bailey wasn’t invited to the wedding, she was one of the few people in the know when this relationship started out. Kenya shared, “We connected right away. He was easy to talk to, funny, and emotionally available, and we spent hours on the phone before meeting. When we had our first date, the earth literally shifted. I called Cynthia and told her I just met my husband. I knew — I knew right away. I was vulnerable with him in a way I’ve never been before. I let my guard down and just showed him my true self.”
Kenya also discussed that phone conversation that she had crying to one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta producers about the media speculation surrounding her marriage during the second episode of the season. Kenya wrote, “You heard a very real and honest but very private conversation. I was emotionally spent and broke down after speaking to Brandon. I was only two weeks into my marriage, and as a newlywed, I was supposed be in wedding bliss, but I was not.”
She said, “We were targeted with so much hatred, negativity, and interference at that time, and I was overwhelmed and emotionally drained. The things that people did to try to hurt us were incredible to me. I was breaking down over the things people would say to him about me in hopes of tarnishing his image and love for me.”
Things seem to be better these days since Kenya said: “Now that we are married, the issues have all been resolved, and our families are all extremely supportive. I wish I could say that the naysayers have ceased and desisted with their empty rhetoric and cruel sentiments, but they haven’t.”
Kenya seemed to shoot down the rumors (and most likely some hate from Kim Zolciak) when she wrote: “I thank God for my real man, my real husband, and my real family. A man who doesn’t want the spotlight, fame, or my money…just my genuine heart. God is good.”
Kenya also signed off on the blog with “Kenya Moore Daly #ThatsMrsDalyToYou”

Real Housewives of Dallas Recap: Falling Apart Like Cheap Pantyhose
It’s part two of The Real Housewives of Dallas Season 2 Reunion, and it’s time to say farewell to the group of dildo wielding, vagina doctor attending, dog food eating housewives. At the time of writing this article, there is no confirmation of a season 3, but like LeeAnne Locken, we’ll pitch our tent in the land of hope. It was a blast writing this recap and hearing from so many of you. I hope you’ll keep up with me on my reality TV podcast, the link is at the bottom of this recap. On with the show!
Back at the studio, LeeAnne is furious that Rich can’t be there to defend her, the way Mark Deuber can defend his wife, Cary Deuber. The sit down resumes and everyone is in place, including the good Doctor. We are shown a video package to transition to a “Deuber Family Life” discussion. Andy Cohen tells Mark that he was perceived as a control freak. True. Squeezed in next to Cary, the Doc admits that he is. Cary clarifies that Mark doesn’t control her; instead, she makes more excuses for his [bad] behavior, chalking it up to “finding a balance”. Ok. In other news, Mark lets it be known, that he does like his young daughter, Zuri. His defense for the [bad] behavior is that we didn’t see it last season and he wouldn’t make a 180 in his behavior overnight. Even LeeAnne admits she called D’Andra Simmons concerned for their marriage. Cary says they’re both assholes and Andy drives home that they are perfect for one another.
Speaking of the “mouth of the south”, we’re treated to a video package of Cary talking about Rich’s small penis, LeeAnne calling Mark a chop shop Doctor and of course, the infamous Round Up allegations. Mark says the servicing rumors are not true. LeeAnne apologizes and clarifies that it wasn’t said as an insult, but was made to hurt them. LeeAnne makes an argument that they don’t call the Gay Shark on Watch What Happens Live gay as an insult – and that 80-90% of her friends are gay. She’s also done plenty of charity work in the LGBTQ world. LeeAnne will not address the origin of the rumor. Very measured in his words, Mark asks if she thinks it’s funny that his grown kids heard the rumors. He goes on to say that all she does is apologize for things and own them. The public shaming continues, when both D’Andra and Kameron Westcott disagree with LeeAnne’s rumor spreading. The trial continues.
Cary admits that social media has been hard on their marriage and that they are in marital therapy. As for the “chop shop” comment, Mark eloquently explained that he was bothered by it and he believes he’s an ethical Doctor. Mark was very by the book, you can tell he came prepared. LeeAnne says that comment came from a retaliatory place as a response to Cary calling her doctor a “vagina doctor”, which she actually referred to him an OBGYN that Brandi Redmond translated to a “vagina doctor”. Messy.
Brandi is questioned by a viewer about being untrustworthy as a result of her behavior towards, basically everyone. Brandi says she owed it to Cary to tell her of LeeAnne’s threat on her life and didn’t repeat the “chop shop” or Round Up story. She claims she did not stir the pot. A question was fired at Cary, calling her out for being a hypocrite for commenting on Rich’s manhood. Cary is quick to tell everyone that Rich messaged her and it wasn’t nice. [Can you just admit that you were in the wrong?] After the deflection, she said she apologized and blamed it on LeeAnne. Both hurt one another by firing missiles at one another and then overreacting. LeeAnne appears to look inside of herself and she calls her behavior “idiotic” and “unacceptable”. Do they want this woman to rip her heart out and bleed to death? (More on that later) What do people want from LeeAnne at this point?
Andy moves onto the Brandi/Cary feud, citing LeeAnne as the person coming between them. [Even this has to be LeeAnne’s fault?] Andy goes on to say something along the lines of their relationship falling apart like “cheap pantyhose”. Who the hell writes these things? Next, Mark is asked about Brandi’s insinuations that he had an affair with Cary while previously married. Mark remains adamant that he and Cary did not have an affair and explains the timeline over the 18 years they’ve known one another. We learn that Brandi got ‘the information’ from Lara, Cary’s stepdaughter/Mark’s daughter. She said Cary watched her as a kid. Brandi perceived this to be an admission of an affair that she had to pretend she didn’t hear about. She also felt she had to keep it a sworn secret. Cary admits that she is currently still hurt, and clarifies that Lara was a kid, simply talking about all the things Cary had done for her, nothing was ever asked to be kept a secret. Got it. Brandi said she was set off when Cary called her a liar and that she couldn’t be friends with her. She felt like she was a good friend by keeping the secret. Again, messy.
Brandi may have formally apologized, but Kameron thinks Brandi needs a reality check for blasting someone with false information. Even Cary says it’s on TV and once it’s out there it becomes “fact”. Next, Andy drags LeeAnne into it. He asks her about her “Hallelujah, the truth will set you free” comment once Brandi revealed “the affair”. LeeAnne says she stayed quiet when it came to Cary/Mark’s relationship, to which Brandi refutes. Side Note: Didn’t LeeAnne recommend that the Deubers become the first “bisexual couple on Housewives”. Who knows? Back on the couches, when asked, LeeAnne said she really did believe they had an affair, until now – after the timeline of events were spelled out. Stephanie Hollman pipes that she was never more disappointed in Brandi than when she said those things about Cary being the “nanny” and that it was out of character for her. [The more I recap this show, the more I’m seeing it’s NOT really out of character for Ms. Redmond]
Stephanie says they have to stop attacking families. Despite it all, Brandi is still welcome to the Deuber home, a courtesy not extended to LeeAnne, as pointed out by D’Andra. Mark, (who’s still at the reunion) replies it’s a long, vicious, malicious pattern that’s now become bullying. So LeeAnne shouldn’t expect an invite to Zuri’s next birthday party anytime soon. Brandi takes this time to ask D’Andra why she makes excuses for LeeAnne. It’s obvious to everyone, that she doesn’t, so D’Andra uses this time to express that she’s glad Stephanie held Brandi accountable for her behavior. Andy asks Cary about telling Stephanie to separate from Brandi. Understandably, Cary explains that Steph’s objective this year was to be her own person and to be there for her family – so she was just encouraging that. As for Brandi, Cary forgives her but needs to rebuild trust. In other news, no one is ready to forgive LeeAnne.
Switching gears, LeeAnne is back in the hot seat, this time across from Brandi as we prepare to psychoanalyze their friendship and falling out. It all leads up to the accusation that LeeAnne told Brandi not to be friends with Stephanie. LeeAnne is seething on her couch, and Brandi looks at LeeAnne with knives daggers in her eyes. Brandi says you are who you hang out with, and LeeAnne is just a negative person of whom she rejects. Kameron finds this to be a double standard, citing that she felt judged multiple times. Andy asks Brandi about that lunch with Cary and Stephanie if they were poisoning her against LeeAnne. LeeAnne believes Steph doesn’t want Brandi to be friends with her, as evidenced by her comments courting Brandi away from her all season. Good point.
Meanwhile, Brandi (who, keep in mind is the “little mimicker”) is STILL taking the “slit your little throat” comment seriously. She slaps the “BULLYING” label on LeeAnne, once again. When Andy asks D’Andra her thoughts on the matter, Brandi goes low(er) saying that D’Andra will just call herself Jesus. (??) Instead, D’Andra says that it was a poor choice of words on LeeAnne’s part and she knew they would turn them around on her, which is exactly what they did. Kameron tries to relate LeeAnne and D’Andra as siblings, holding one another accountable. She asks Brandi if she has those offline conversations with her sister. Brandi snaps back, 100% passive-aggressively bitchy, “I have three brothers. Thank you”. Ouch. Kameron attempts to wrap it up, calling the ‘throat-slitting’ incident, not a big deal, a silly comment, time to move on and that there’s nothing else to talk about. This is a big moment for the new housewife.
The fight rages on between to the two green sofas. Cary blames LeeAnne for her own comments towards Steph-andi’s behavior on the yacht. Even Andy is sick of the blame game. Now, Cary says she was NOT manipulated by LeeAnne. (That’s not what you said in your confessional) Team LeeAnne feels Steph and Brandi need to hold each other accountable for bad behavior. LeeAnne calls out Brandi for being all over the place. This upsets Brandi, so she calls LeeAnne a liar for the millionth time. LeeAnne fires back, “Be careful who you call a liar because when you’re pointing at me, you have three fingers pointing back at you!”
Cary flat out denies making Brandi choose between them or LeeAnne and says she’s fine being friends with LeeAnne’s friends – example: Kameron and D’Andra. Stephanie says SHE felt LeeAnne made her choose, which is ridiculous because she and LeeAnne were never friends. Never letting it go, Stephanie feels Brandi was under the influence of the evil LeeAnne when she commented on Cary’s marriage. It did appear that LeeAnne amped Brandi up, but how can she be responsible for Brandi outing a “secret” only SHE knew? Andy reminds Steph that she said she’s not sure if she can be friends with Brandi if she remains friends with the ‘mouth of the south’. Stephanie completely rejects LeeAnne and any prospect of a friendship. But LeeAnne believes that with healing there could be a pattern of trust.
Kameron reminds Brandi that LeeAnne was there for her while she was in tears. She reviews the “death threats” as carny talk, dramatic and not serious. At this point in the reunion, Kam’s making the most sense. Who knew? Now, can we move on? Nope. Brandi is still furious with Leeanne, telling her that there’s nothing sacred with her and NO future friendship. LeeAnne turns it over to God, citing a bible verse and talking about how her heart has been torn out of her body and left on the floor to beat out. Oh, the drama of it all… Not to be without the final word, Cary questions how she and Mark can move on. Again, what do they want from LeeAnne at this point?

D’Andra wraps out the reunion with some closing thoughts. Everyone needs to work on not judging and making assumptions. She suggests the ladies come back with a fresh perspective. Shannon Beador Says Vicki Gunvalson’s Apology In Iceland “Wasn’t Very Sincere”; Admits Tamra Judge Hurt Her Feelings “A Few Times” This Season
This was a brutal season for Shannon Beador, but she seems to be taking it all in stride and owning her shit. She announced that she and David Beador have separated. She has admitted to projecting her feelings on the other women in the cast. She has apologized for blaming her weight gain on stress from Vicki Gunvalson.
Now she seems like she is ready for a fresh start and that new beginning might include a friendship with former enemy Kelly Dodd.
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Shannon shared, “When we filmed the reunion, we had been separated for five weeks. There was a part of me that thought finally getting out there would be a sense of relief, but in actuality it made it official and it made it real. I’ve been having good days and bad days.” That is very understandable. Props to Shannon for being so open. She also revealed, “Last week I saw he took his wedding ring off and that’s inevitable, but it’s just making the adjustment.” Aaaww. Shannon kept it real and did what she could to stop herself from crying.
Even so, Shannon insisted, “No more downer tonight. It’s all good. This had to happen. Good times are ahead.” I’m loving this renewed Shannon.
Unfortunately she can’t just completely move forward. There are still Real Housewives of Orange County reunion episodes to rehash old drama and this Watch What Happens Live interview. Shannon even admitted that her bestie Tamra Judge’s comments during the season affected her. She said, “Yes, my feelings were hurt a few times. I did have talks with her about it. You guys see little clips of things here and there. She tells me what really happened. ” She even took ownership for behavior and admitted, “I know that I was so volatile this season that she was kind of afraid and walked on egg shells a little bit around me.”
One person that Shannon will probably never say anything nice about is Vicki. Shannon made it clear that she wasn’t buying Vicki’s apology in Iceland. She explained, “I think if you really wanted to make an apology, you would do it off camera. You wouldn’t do it after two cocktails. You wouldn’t do it when Tamra is whispering in your ear ‘apologize now.’ It wasn’t very sincere.” Andy Cohen pointed out, “If she hadn’t apologized then, she was in a lose-lose [situation] almost.” Shannon agreed by saying, “She was.”
A fan asked Shannon to “name three people that you’re not ‘done’ with from this season.” Shannon responded with, “I’ll say Tamra Judge.” Obviously. She added, “I’ll say Kelly Dodd. At this point there’s not many others. I can’t do that.” Wait. What about Meghan Edmonds? Did something happen or did her name just slip Shannon’s mind? But more importantly, I am all about the burgeoning friendship between Shannon and Kelly. Let’s focus next season on that so we can rebound from this dismal Season 12.

Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Finale Special – Part 1: Control Freaks
It’s reunion time for the cast of Teen Mom 2 and part one is going to ease us into everything without too much craziness. Well, unless you count Jenelle Evans and new husband, David Eason, who just can’t help themselves. But before we go there, the whole cast is on the couch, with a giant macramé pacifier sitting behind them, just in case you didn’t catch that the show has “mom” in the title. All the ladies look fresh and lovely, but Jenelle already has a sourpuss face, magnified by her hair darkened and pulled back in a severe ponytail. I guess I can’t blame Jenelle; it’s going to be a long day for her. Dr. Drew plugs the finale of Teen Mum, which is the UK version of Teen Mom and if you’re not watching, you definitely should. Those Brits have nonstop baby daddy drama and I couldn’t help but get sucked into the whole season. But I digress….
Kailyn Lowry is first for a solo conversation with Dr. Drew and he marvels at how much change she had packed into this season between getting divorced, having a new pregnancy, finally earning her college degree and ending the season with the birth of her third son, Lux. That name makes me cringe but whatever, at least she finally named him.
Dr. Drew asks if she’s done having kids and she says yes, she doesn’t even want to try for a girl because she doesn’t think she could handle a smaller version of herself. Plus, she is already having issues with Lux’s dad, who she hasn’t had any contact with in over a month. She’s optimistic they will figure it out but he also spent her whole pregnancy cheating on her, so he doesn’t exactly sound like the most stand up kind of guy. Dr. Drew presses her about getting a therapist because her “picker” that picks the men in her life is broken. Dr. Drew must be a Bravo fan since this is a classic Patty line from Millionaire Matchmaker. Kail knows it and says she has a great group of friends that get her through the hard times and are extremely supportive. She updates us on her relationship with ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, saying things have been going well with their co-parenting but admits that she’s been avoiding him leading up to the reunion. He will be out later, so for now, we have to settle for moving on to Leah Messer.
Leah had a pretty boring season so she doesn’t spend much time on the solo couch but Dr. Drew talks to her about balancing Ali’s health problems with raising the girls and Leah admits it’s a challenge. She doesn’t really answer what she’s doing with school but still wants to pursue being a motivational speaker. Dr. Drew asks her about ex-husband Jeremy Calvert’s relationship with Brooke and Leah describes it as toxic. This sets Dr. Drew up for asking if there is any truth to the rumors that they are working things out and Leah immediately shuts that down, saying they are definitely not working things out.
Onto Chelsea DeBoer, who looks amazing for this reunion. Dr. Drew jumps right in and asks about Aubree’s relationship with her dad, Adam Lind. Chelsea says she does her best to explain things in an age appropriate manner but she does feel a lot of guilt or giving her daughter a drug addicted father. Now that she has baby Watson at home, she sees how different the whole pregnancy and newborn phase is when you’re with a loving and supportive man. She gushes about husband Cole DeBoer, saying she is in a really good and happy place right now.
Jenelle arrives for her turn with Dr. Drew and she cries through the montage clips of her season. She says she is crying over the footage of her wedding and the cameras cut to an equally emotional David, sitting backstage. But the tears quickly turn from sad to angry as she talks about how she doesn’t care about how mom Barbara Evans felt about not being invited to the wedding, especially after leaning Barb recently sold three stories about her to the press. She says she doesn’t care but sobs about her mom not being there to help her with her dress so Dr. Drew points out that Jenelle does care, she is just angry. Jenelle doesn’t challenge Dr. Drew and his forceful identification of her feelings but David is seething backstage. It’s about to get a lot worse as Jenelle talks about how smart, passionate and protective David is because Dr. Drew would rather address David’s scary anger issues and asks Jenelle if she understands why people are scared of him. Jenelle shrugs it off and deflects by saying that ex Nathan Griffith has charges against him for strangling his girlfriend and he’s the real abuser. Then she accuses him of giving Kaiser a hand mark on his bum.
David is grumbling and cursing every time the camera cuts to him and already threatening to leave, which I think we all knew was coming. David claims he will tell Dr. Drew exactly what he thinks of him when he’s called out but instead, he comes and gets Jenelle during a break and informs her they are leaving. Hand in hand, they march out, with Jenelle saying she can’t just let her husband go back to the hotel by himself. Ummm, yes you can.
They take off and instead we get Nathan, who tells a very different story about whatever alleged abuse is going on with Kaiser. According to Nathan, David oversteps his bounds when it comes to Kaiser and he doesn’t appreciate it. Then his mom Doris comes out, unplanned, but unable to hold her tongue about what was said. She claims that Jenelle only made the hand mark on the bum accusation after Doris told her she was going to start taking photo evidence of Kaiser before he leaves and when he comes back from his stays with her. Doris also points out that she has worked for Child Services for years, so she knows all the warning signs and she sees red flags all over the place with Jenelle and David. She also claims that Kaiser told he that David punched him and feels that there is drug use going on.
Barb comes out and the hits keep on coming for Jenelle and David as Barb gripes about how controlling David is and how they don’t respect one another. Dr. Drew says to be fair, doesn’t Jenelle need some containment? How is Dr. Drew seriously a doctor with statements like that? Barb tries to claim that she just wants to be happy for Jenelle and her choice of husband but it’s clear she’s anything but. Barb cries about how much Jenelle hates her and Dr. Drew corrects her, saying Jenelle hates that she took Jace away, causing Barb to roll her eyes about the fact that Jenelle didn’t try to get him sooner. She also reveals she would like to see the other kids but she’s not allowed to see Ensley, thanks to David and his threats to call the cops if she steps on their property. Barb maintains that even if she doesn’t like Jenelle, she loves her unconditionally and tells her every time she gets a mean text from Jenelle. Dr. Drew holds her hand and assures her that’s the “right” thing to do.
Part one of the reunion is done and we didn’t even get to sit down with the newest mom, Briana DeJesus. Looks like her portion, along with much more, will be covered in part two so we will be back with every detail next week!

Real Housewives Of Orange County Finale Recap: SNOOOOOZE
Was last night not one of the most boring Real Housewives Of Orange County finales ever?! At least Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge completely gave up the pretense of trying to fix their friendship – which was refreshing. Other than that the only drama was some weird mythical uproar Shannon Beador suddenly developed for Peggy Sulahian who is literally a walking coma. Diko has definitely done all the heavy-lifting in the drama department with those two.
I get that Shannon and Peggy don’t like each other, but this drama erupted over some old news and seemed like drama for drama’s sake. Sort of like Shannon herself!
This all predicated around a candle party. Yes, a candle party. A candle party to celebrate all the haaaaard difficult work we never saw Meghan Edmonds actually DO to launch her signature collection.
Since when is sniffing a few candles and pointing to some color swatches while your nanny jostles the baby considered “hard work”? That’s not even first world problems, that’s delusional pampered princess problems when pampered princess has grown bored of reading Nancy Drew and has started whining that her husband isn’t home enough so hubby bought her a business. Jimmy Dad Jeans, like all good parental figures was very proud of Meghan’s baby steps to adulthood, but not more proud than Meghan was of herself. Look she did something! She really did something! (Said in a Shannon Beador voice).
The episode started out with Vicki’s big announcement: Michael, long-suffering, patient, pseudo-Donn, Michael is being promoted to a spot on the Coto Insurance board. There was a vote among the 3 members (are there more but we didn’t see them?) who decided Michael should replace someone. Probably Vicki, who is literally nuts. She also asked the board if they could vote on the next person she marries because she wants no more whammies! Is that even legal? I mean even if you own the company, isn’t it a little… I dunno… Mad [Wo]Men to interject your personal life so liberally onto your poor co-workers. Or maybe not since Vicki is a public figure and Brooks probably doesn’t do wonders for boosting a company’s image and income, but everyone agrees Steve is a good one. Too good of a one for Vicki. His one glaring flaw is, well, the peroxide, surgically altered Whoop It Up machine anchored to his right elbow.
Tamra has finally scored an invite into Sidney’s life. It’s her own milestone! YAAAY. She and Ryan get to attend her estranged daughter’s graduation, and Tamra is nervous. I have NO idea why Tamra was wearing cocktail attire for this – and even worse, trampy Vegas cougar cocktail attire, but there ya’ go! When RYAN manages to look more appropriate, you should probably go right back inside and put on something a little more MOM and less attention-seeking. Except this is Tamra, so everything is about Tamra and the attention she seeks (see RHOC seasons: 3 – 12).
Kelly Dodd really wants her mom Bobbi to do something with herself. Like be part of a PRIV commercial! All very exciting! Kelly hires PRIV to give Bobbi a makeover. I can’t even remember what Bobbi looked like (apparently face-lifted) because I spent the entire segment trying to figure out what the hell Kelly was wearing. Did she WANT to look like she had no shirt on? Why would you choose a skin-toned bodysuit with one-sleeve that was just one shade different from your spraytanned skin tone? Like Barbie Crotch and Boob Syndrome (you know…). It reminded me of the Silence Of the Lambs flesh suit. Also she paired it with weird high-waisted track pants with fake accompanying flesh stripes. It was a super bizarro-cannibal like outfit. The nasty socialite version. Kinda perfect for Kelly, though, who absolutely is a person-eater. Especially when drunk. Like Barbies, she needs to come with her own Surgeon General’s Warning: small dangerous parts not suitable for children (or highly excitable middle-aged women).
But look at that Kelly and Shannon are now friends! Two insanes make a sane?! Or at least a good book of idiots idioms.
Meghan is treating her party like a candle wedding – she actually hosted the event at the place where Tamra and Eddie got married. Everyone will love the candles if they are reminded of how much they love Tamra, right?! I, like Vicki, believe a candle party should be a little more multi-level market-y and contain cheap brochures proclaiming how candles save marriages and cure psoriasis, scent demonstrations, and cheap cheese trays. But alas, I guess Jimmy Dad Jeans’s passion is candles. It’s the only thing I’ve ever seen him get remotely Jazz Handsy about except for when he’s yelling at Meghan.
Kelly was supposed to ride with Vicki, who is – as always – criminally late and stuck in her own self-obsession, but since Kelly and Shannon are neighbors and now partners in misery friends, Shannon proposes Kelly and Michael squeeze into their limo. Put nine lemon-faces in a limo… And sour it was! Neither David nor Michael wanted to be there, and neither Shannon nor Kelly wanted them there. Or at least Kelly definitely didn’t want Michael to attend. Michael almost bailed, but then, regrettably for Kelly, changed his mind at the last minute and put on a hot pink tie with a Sears suit.
Michael’s bad attitude is because he does not want to spend 30 minutes in a limo with David! I don’t blame him! David has crazy eyes and otherwise is stale crackers, crumbling in their little packet and wanting to be left alone to squish into oblivion. Michael tried to call an Uber, which made Kelly really angry.
Kelly lectured Michael that he better be polite, since he’s always embarrassing her. This is hilarious. Kelly is literally the definition of mortifying! Maybe Michael is also awful, but he comes across like all the husbands who are not Diko: ancillary background static whose only purpose is provide the Housewives lifestyle and occasionally interject when things are too stupid. Kelly complains to her makeup artists that she can’t take anymore of him. She is DONE. Like Shannon Beador is always DONE. Except Shannon is never done with David (so we thought!).
In their limo before picking up Kelly, Shannon attempts to make conversation with David Of The Dead. She chatters on about how people like her the more they get to know her. Like scotch! Or McDonald’s! Shannon is wowed by her budding friendship with Kelly; two women who know how to speak their minds! David, zombie-like, stares out the window. Once Kelly and Michael get in the car, David and Michael sit in silence while Shannon and Kelly drown their sorrows in vodka.
Getting into the party is also a trial. There’s a long staircase and Shannon is convinced she’ll wipe out, ruining her grandmother’s vintage cocktail dress (which was both aging and unflattering). The first thing Shannon does after she surviving the stairs is to fret that there may not be vodka! Only anti-freeze-blue signature cocktails. Which I dunno… anyone ever watch Heathers?
The moment Tamra scuttles into the party she informs Meghan that her friendship with Vicki – over. Again. Like for real over. Again. Meghan looks bored. I’m bored. Do the blue cocktails contain poison? Are they worse than Tamra’s desperate dress. Was was unflattering in the opposite way Shannon’s was. Too youthful, therefore unintentionally aging.
Apparently Vicki committed the cardinal sin of NOT calling Tamra the moment they returned from Iceland. Which proved their makeup wasn’t sincere. Did Tamra call Vicki? Then, not 18 hours after they returned, a negative story emerged in the press about Tamra’s family – and it came from a good fiend of Vicki’s. Vicki denied culpability, but Tamra knows it was her which is proof that Vicki will never change. That new development is so weird and random. For once I am actually GLAD Vicki didn’t dignify that with a response. Also, Tamra will never change.
For instance, there Tamra was meddling with Peggy and Diko over something past and appropriately ignored, stirring up problems to try and provoke Shannon into over-reacting, so she could complain about Shannon over-reacting. It was the stupid drama about how David supposedly doubted Peggy’s cancer. Diko, who I actually liked this episode, did his due-diligence by apologizing to David for how out-of-hand the whole thing got.
Then Tamra apologized to Diko for calling him a “little bitch” in Iceland. And suddenly Peggy and Shannon started arguing about Diko’s confrontation with Shannon at the anniversary party and if Peggy attempted to manipulate the whole thing by blaming Shannon for David hurting her. This was all instigated by Tamra, who out-of-the-blue-cocktails sidled over to Peggy to inquire if Shannon had flipped for no reason at that party.
It was all confusing as hell.
First Peggy denied telling Shannon she was hurt by David and claims Shannon made that up, which Tamra wholeheartedly believed! When Shannon came over, Tamra accused her supposed BEST FRIEND of lying about Peggy and over-reacting. True to form, Shannon went all InShannity (again) in which resulted in Peggy confusingly admitting that she actually did tell Shannon she was hurt. “YOU MAKE NO SENSE!” bellowed Shannon. Which is true, Peggy doesn’t make any sense. So, just so you know, Shannon is (again) DONE with Peggy, but this time Peggy is also done with Shannon!
The actual terrible thing is how Tamra gaslights Shannon and takes advantage of her weaknesses. Yes, Shannon should have a better grip on her emotions, but Tamra totally orchestrated this showdown to make Shannon go ballistic, then tired to play the consoling soothing friend, just trying to peace-make with the crazy woman. She actually called Peggy and Shannon back together and Peggy half-heartedly Vicki’d through an apology, which Shannon socially accepted.
Peggy also complained to Meghan that Shannon always has to have drama, so she starts it. Which is true. Then she told all of us that no wonder David doesn’t want to deal with Shannon with her behavior. Peggy is always so full of judgments about why the other women’s marriages are doomed. Perhaps if they were all more Armenian!
Lydia McLaughlin, whom I don’t recall even being there except for her My Little Pony braid, opined that if someone is always acting insane at a party, they’re probably also insane. She hasn’t confirmed this with Jesus, but I’ll go with it. Also citing Tamra and Vicki as examples. #Inshannity
At least Kelly and Peggy managed to have a civil conversation. Kelly apologized for Iceland in a way that was polite, yet detached. Kelly isn’t sweating Peggy though, that was producer-mandated due-diligence. Instead she’s pondering how to extract herself from her marriage. The final straw was Michael complaining to the other women that he wasn’t allowed to “play” with Kelly’s new boobs and she gave him a look like she had just eaten something Shannon cooked.
Kelly confides to Vicki that she literally cannot take another moment with him. She and Michael no longer have sex, and haven’t in a long time. Vicki admits that when she and Donn stopped being intimate their marriage fell apart, and though she initially tells Kelly to try to fix things. Kelly is done. Emotionally that is. She’s decided to sell their house so she can get divorced and move on, on her own. Didn’t Michael pay for the house? Regardless, with the proceeds Kelly won’t need his money. And she did just that!
Did I mention Tamra is also mad because Vicki never apologized to Eddie. Which she was supposed to do at the party? Tamra and Vicki spent the entire party avoiding each other until it was time to do a final shot. Half-hearted fights finished, animosity too long-stewed to overcome, they got together for some booze which is what they do best. It was truly a kind of nothing finale. I blame Peggy.
The best moment was Kelly and Shannon reliving their 70’s party fight and hooting at each other in a cued-WHOOO and HOOOT recall. They are fun together! Let’s hope Shannon ditches Tamra for Kelly! They could be divorcee roommates! I actually think all the women are fun together, but alas Tamra just can’t for real stop instigating with Vicki.
As the last candles were blown out, their scented wicks flickering toxins into the night sky, Jim, sated by cheese platters and the dessert buffet, and whatever the hell was in that blue cocktail, was happy. And speaking of blue, Meghan leaned over and whispered that since she’d so excelled at this whole mommy thing, which she has loved every moment of so much, she’s ready for another round of IVF to try for a boy. Jim agrees, then makes a note to call his agent about a lot of trips to St. Louis.
In the updates we learn that Shannon and David had to move when their rental was sold, so they moved into separate residences. Kelly and Michael are also divorcing. Again.
