I wonder if now that Monique Samuels is expecting her third child she will be less involved with the grandstanding drama that consumes this season of Real Housewives of Potomac. It’s highly unlikely, but that’s why we watch, isn’t it? After an explosive charity showdown that has been building for a several episode arc (who knew that could be a thing?), the ladies are speaking their truths and hurling insults as they react to the latest episode.
From Karen Huger’s Alzheimer’s benefit that required security to Gizelle Bryant’s CBC drama, the women of RHOP made several scenes. On the front lines with Gizelle and Karen stood Robyn Dixon, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, and Monique…and I’m still not sure who is one whose side anymore. These chicks change alliances like most people change underwear!
Monique provides her two cents (and then some) in an interview with Bravo. She addresses Karen’s decision to remove Gizelle and Robyn from her event as well as that pesky donation snafu that had the group scratching their heads. Monique begins, “I wasn’t at all surprised that the tacky crew was kicked out right away. They don’t know how to act when they attend events and are unapologetic when they ruin it. Exactly the reason I had zero intentions of inviting them to any charity functions I’m a part of. I’m surprised Karen invited them anyway considering how they treated her at the press conference with no press.”
She continues, “When Michael made the comments about the event, we were all genuinely curious as to why we made checks out to Karen’s company for our dinner seat. We later found out that the Alzheimer’s Association had blue envelopes available for direct donations, so I took advantage of that and gave a token one on behalf of the Samuels family.”
Weighing in on the catfight of Gizelle and Robyn versus Charrisse, Monique shades, “The petty continues. I’ve never before witnessed so much drama over a calendar conflict. I’m happy that Charrisse stood her ground and did not allow the cartoon characters bully her.”
Monique then focuses on the accusations by some of the women that she is using Charrissee. She responds, “Using Charrisse for what exactly? This is truly mind boggling. I’ve never reached out to her to gain access to anything or anyone. When I first moved to Potomac, I would ask Charrisse for the basics, such as, what vet you use for your dogs, what restaurants are good nearby, or where to get manicures. Whenever I had gatherings at my home, I would invite her and she did the same for me. Our relationship has always been 50/50.”
She adds, “I’m familiar with her friends from the gatherings in the same way she’s familiar with my entire family that visit and gather at my home. I honestly feel the most used! Charrisse was my BFF when her circle of friends were putting her down and creating ‘fireman’ lies. Now that she’s back in their good graces, she no longer needs me.”
Rebuffing Charrisse’s implications that she is a social climber, Monique contends, “In order to be a social climber, you must first be social. I spend more time with my family at home than I do running around the city of Potomac and other areas chasing after celebrities and well known people. The charities I team up with and sit on the board of have nothing to do with anyone else’s contacts but my own! Just check Instagram and see for yourself. She has officially joined the ‘Deflection party’ and is pursuing a recurring role on the next Pinky and the Brain spinoff.”
She maintains, “From what I can see now, Charrisse is the social climber who uses her friends for access and then acts as if she made the connection herself. She used me the same way she uses everyone else. She mistook my kindness for weakness and obviously thought she had control over me, my decision making and who I choose to befriend. Clearly she has been playing this game and if you don’t play by her rules, she has a problem with you. I’m grateful that my eyes are open and I’m officially out of her game.”
Finally, Monique defends her decision not stop by Gizelle’s booth at the CBC. She snarks, “I knew Pinky and the Brain would be surprised to see us given the fact Gizelle purposely did not invite us to her booth when she invited the rest of the ladies. Karen and I decided to go to the CDC event regardless, to take advantage of the networking opportunities with the black businesses represented there. I never go where I’m not invited, therefore, I had no intentions of stopping by Gizelle’s booth.”
Concluding, Monique admits, “I was being respectful of her business and did not want to create any scenes that would interfere with her customers. When they approached us as we were leaving, I knew the ‘scene’ was about to happen. I told a white lie and said, ‘I didn’t see your booth’ because I was not going to argue with grown women at an event that has not only been historic for the DC area, but for black people and businesses in general. I gracefully bowed out. Someone has to be the bigger person.”

It seems like just yesterday that Lala Kent was hiding her man from the world, now she’s accompanying Randall Emmett to red carpets around the world, and he may be popping that question soon!
Recently the Vanderpump Rules star was at Randall’s side for the premiere of his new film Gotti, where the couple discussed their future and if they’d ever take their relationship to reality TV. The answer to that is “Never!”
“You know, I like my relationship a lot. So, I’m gonna protect it,” declared Lala. “This isn’t this for the public. This is just for us to enjoy the two of us and not have outside influences.”
Before even going public Lala and Randall faced serious adversity from her Vanderpump Rules co-stars who accused her of breaking up Randall’s marriage. Lala staunchly maintained that he was separated when they started dating and has never deviated from that stance.
Randall echoes that reality TV isn’t on the horizon – namely because he doesn’t even have a desire to guest star! “I want her to always be the star,” he told Us Weekly. “I’m not good here. Let her be the star, and I’ll always be behind the scenes.” Which means there won’t be a reality TV wedding even IF (and when) Randall proposes!
“Listen, I love Lala and I’m going to be with her always and forever. So, that’s for the stars to align when they align,” Randall said coyly about the possibility of a proposal. And Lala is fine with leaving the next move up to Randall. “That’s a question for him,” she said. “I don’t know. I’m so happy.” Thank goodness, because with the Kentucky Fried Wedding on the horizon I am ‘tru luv’d’ out!
What Lala does know is that season 7 of Vanderpump Rules, filming now, is going to be amazing. “Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more real on Vanderpump, we come through with season 7 and it’s going to be crazy, just like always.”

We may not be getting more Chuck (yet), but Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski are back together in a different way. The pair, who played spies and eventually married spies on the NBC...The list of Farrah Abraham‘s questionable (re: awful) decision making increases with her revelation that she told her 9-year-old daughter Sophia about getting arrested for (allegedly) drunkenly smacking a security guard.
Last week Farrah was getting her drink on at the fancy Beverly Hills Hotel, where c-list celebs go to get in trouble for attention, when she wound up in an argument with a fellow guest, which escalated into assaulting the security guard trying to eject her from their establishment. The police were called and Farrah spent a few hours in the slammer where she certainly DID NOT have a wakeup call!
Immediately upon getting released Farrah complained about the injustice of having to be a single parent held accountable for her actions. Because: HOW UNFAIR for Sophia to have to be told that her mother was arrested. “It was very confusing for me and I wish that no other single mom or person in the public eye has to deal with that. It’s a confusing place to be in,” Farrah complained.
Luckily the former Teen Mom OG star decided to turn this into a teachable moment for Sophia about how sometimes bad things happen to good people! Isn’t that… heartwarming as a Hallmark Movie! #NOT
“I actually did explain everything to her,” Farrah tells Us Weekly, because how else would she convey that she’s so not responsible for her own actions because other people just want to see her fail!
“As it happens, you gotta just say unexpected things may occur and you just gotta keep your cool. You can be so nice to a certain extent and then it’s like, ‘Whew,'” Farrah continued. “People will try to ruin your career and you do nothing to have that happen.”
Farrah says Sophia understands and “we are on track.”
“I’m just thankful I didn’t get really in trouble,” declares Farrah, “because I really would’ve been sad about that, if it were my fault. “
Also on future outings, Farrah’s decided never to let herself or anyone else on her team, be left unaccompanied even for a bathroom break. Which sounds like a matter for OSHA about workplace safety, but anyway, she also believes the Beverly Hills Police Dept owes her an apology for targeting her as a public figure and selling stories about her to the media. Mmmm… OOOOKAY.
In fact the morning after her arrest, Farrah posted a ‘triumphant’ video of her leaving the police station attached to a scathing chastisement (so she thinks) of police conduct. You can catch the video, with the following charming quote, here.
“I chose this life and I handle being targeted as a public figure & public punching bag ALL is Fair In Farrah’s world I will never believe the lies that people need to sell to make a dollar off me — Happy it’s all recorded and documented as I should never feel unsafe and be targeted at a hotel I’m staying at The Beverly Hills hotel truly allowed misconduct by staff to a paying guest there’s no need for me or anyone else to be treated this way. The Beverly Hills Police officers should stop having power trips and lying and selling stories to TMZ, while you let all of Beverly Hills be robbed, car break ins, stealing go on… focus on really protecting the public and doing good for Beverly Hills instead of creating made up problems. #farrahabraham.” Maybe Farrah should do her civilian duty by running for public office?! Imagine the amazing spinoff potential of Farrah Vs. America!

Finally some good news for Teresa Giudice in the legal department! Approximately 10 years (and two prison sentences) after she and Joe Giudice filed for bankruptcy they’re finally off the hook and their debts mostly expunged. Should we celebrate with some rancid Fabulicious wine?
The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star, who’s found solace in bodybuilding, returned to court last week and learned that a judge had finally dismissed her bankruptcy case! While this doesn’t mean Teresa and Joe are completely out of debt, TMZ reports that the majority of their financial obligations are no more.
Teresa and Joe still have two outstanding creditors, however, creditors who are exceptional at chasing down their money! That would be the IRS and the NJ Department of Treasury. Since the Giudices already have a payment plan arranged with the agencies, and aren’t in arrears, a judge no longer feels the need to babysit their bill paying. Really…
Teresa and Joe initially declared bankruptcy way back in 2011 where they claimed approximately $13.5 million in debt. Unfortunately for them they were making all sorts of shady financial decisions – which Teresa later blamed on Joe – and the trustee overseeing the proceedings accused them of fraud. Joe is currently in prison serving a 41-month sentence, while Teresa served 11 months two years ago.
Luckily the Giudices have managed to repay most of their creditors, which is likely why the bankruptcy was ultimately dismissed. However the Giudices fault their former bankruptcy attorneys for their financial mess and are suing them. That case is still unresolved, but what this means is that if she does succeed in getting a settlement none of her former creditors can seize it! Holla.
