Ramona Singer Defends Dorinda Medley After Bethenny Frankel Called Her A Drunk – Hot Pics
RIP Ramonja. Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan used to be the closest cast members on Real Housewives of New York. Now their relationship is on some shaky ground.
Andy Cohen even showed an “In Memoriam” segment for their friendship during last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live. After Andy played that clip, he told Ramona, “You got very emotional watching that.” Ramona confessed, “I could cry almost because I was so close to Sonja and I don’t know if it will happen again or not.” So sad.
Then Ramona came to Dorinda Medley’s defense after Bethenny Frankel referred to her as a “drunk” during the last Real Housewives of New York episode. Ramona said, “I’ve known Dorinda a long time and I’ve seen Bethenny very drunk many times also. She wasn’t even that… She was a little inebriated, but she had been drinking all day. Normally she would have taken a nap. I think she felt pressured because she was there as Bethenny’s guest to show up, but she should have just gone to bed.”
A viewer asked Ramona, “Why do you keep inviting Missy to social events when you know it bothers Luann [de Lesseps]?” Ramona explained, “You know what, I adore her. She’s my great friend. We see each other twice a week. We talk to each other every other day, so I’m not going to let Luann affect my friendships.” And it’s great for the show. As far as I’m concerned, Missy is always welcome at any event Luann is invited to.
Another fan asked, “Ramona, what was your reaction to finding out that Mario’s [Singer] mistress [Kasey Dexter] was caught cheating on him? Do you feel vindicated?” Most Housewives would have used this question as an opportunity to throw shade or recite some inspirational quote about karma, but Ramona didn’t take that route. Instead, she said, “I don’t really care” in the least emotional tone possible. Mario who?

Gizelle Bryant Says Candiace Dillard Only Talks About Her Mom’s Money; Thinks Candiaces Owes Charrisse-Jackson Jordan An Apology
If you’ve been watching Real Housewives of Potomac since season one, it’s expected that Gizelle Bryant will not like the New Housewife. Instead of assuming Gizelle is difficult, let’s play devil’s advocate here. Are they just intentionally casting people assuming that their personalities will clash with Gizelle’s? It is possible, but it is not likely.
Gizelle spent most of last season feuding with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. She even accused Charrisse of having an affair with a fireman. Now, she is on Charrisse’s side this year. Maybe it just has something to do with seniority among the cast members. Charrisse was blatantly trying to insult new cast member Candiace Dillard by asking if her mother bought her engagement ring. Candiace referred to it as a “shady bitch comment”- which it was. Nevertheless, Gizelle is going to bat for Charrisse and insists that Candiace owes Charrisse an apology.
In a Bravo blog post, Gizelle theorized, “I guess everyone’s drinking sensitive juice.” She continued, “Charrisse asking Candiace if her mother paid for her ring was a light-hearted joke, but it was based in truth.”
Gizelle wrote, “Let’s keep it real: Candiace has spoken several times about the fact that her fiancé [Chris Bassett] has NO money, and she (I mean her mother) has all the money in the world. Like her mother has a money tree in her backyard. So, did Charrisse really think her mother paid for the ring? NO! But Candiace’s mother’s money is all this girl EVER talks about.” Charrisse is just doing whatever she can to earn those Friend of the Housewives paychecks. I don’t blame her for it and it keeps the show interesting. Keep on throwing shade, Charrisse. Candiace will just throw some back.
Charrisse wasn’t the only one who made a “shady bitch comment” during the last RHOP episode. Gizelle low key provoked Ashley Darby when she asked her about her family’s trailer. Gizelle insisted, “Since when is a simple question about a subject that’s already on the table shady? I was genuinely just trying to get to know Ashley’s history a little better. I was honestly just curious. No shade, no partial cloudiness — just sunshine with the breeze blowing. Next time people start telling me about their background, I’ll just say thanks but no thanks!” Was she really trying to “get to know Ashley’s history a little bit better”? Or was she just trying to stir the pot? It seemed like the latter, which made for way better TV. Keep on being shady, Gizelle.
She circled back to the Candiace vs. Charrisse drama. Gizelle maintained, “I said it then and I’ll say it now: Candiace owed Charrisse and apology. Again, I don’t know you meet a group of women who you don’t know, start calling people names, and then expect everyone to like you and want you to be around. Middle school, high school, nor adulthood works that way.” Candiace got out of hand with the name calling, but she is also owed an apology. There’s no way that Charrisse wasn’t trying to cause drama when she asked about the engagement ring.
The drama with Charrisse and Candiace trickled down to Gizelle. She explained, “Since all I heard was way too much talking (I mean screaming) from a person that I don’t know or care about, I’d just HAD IT. Enough!” She concluded, “Just be happy that you’re with the group, be perky, and let us get to know you in silence.” By “with the group” she obviously means on the show.

Dorinda Medley, Tinsley Mortimer, & Carole Radziwill Visit Caroline Stanbury In Dubai- Photos
On the current season of Real Housewives of New York, Carole Radziwill has an up and down relationship with Adam Kenworthy. Her costar Tinsley Mortimer has an on-again-off-again relationship with Scott Kluth. Dorinda Medley is still going strong with John Mahdessian.
The three Real Housewives of New York duos (because who knows if “couple” is actually the applicable word in every instance) went to Dubai with some friends. They all visited Ladies of London star Caroline Stanbury.
If you thought that they were living luxurious lives on Real Housewives of New York and Ladies of London, then you have to look at the photos from their vacation. They really went all out and took the luxury to another level. They went to Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. They went out on the town, lounged by the pool, spent days at the beach, checked out luxury cars, flew in helicopters, and so many other things during their vacation.
And of course they all documented the key moments on social media. I can’t help wondering if Sonja Morgan saw all of these photos since she was just in Dubai herself. Why didn’t she get the invite? Oh right, she’s arguing with Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer this season and offending Carole in the process.
Check out the photos of Dorinda, Tinsley, Carole, Caroline, John, Adam, and Scott living it up in Dubai by scrolling through the photo gallery below.

Survivor: Ghost Island Episode 12 Recap: ‘This Decision Is Everything’
If you’re like me, you will find yourself occasionally shouting things incoherently at your TV screen. It tends to happen from time to time, because hey, it’s the American way. This week’s episode of Survivor was one of those times, where it was so easy for me to see the right move to make sitting in the comfort of my own home, pajamas on, eating cookies. “Just do it! Make the big move!” I would say, expletives deleted. Sure, I might have been over-compensating by being unnecessarily aggressive towards my TV and the people on it, since just a few moments earlier I was sniffling and crying during the episode’s “loved ones” Reward Challenge. It could have been my allergies, actually. Yes, it was my allergies. That’s my story.
But before we dive in, as I do at the beginning of every Recap, please heed the following: Remember that this recap assumes that you have already seen this week’s Episode 12 of Survivor: Ghost Island, so if you have not and don’t want to be spoiled, please come back later! It’s important to add too that while we WILL hit on all of the important developments of the episode, this is not a linear “blow-by-blow” recap, and is more of a discussion and reaction of what we just witnessed together.
CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE, AND THIS IS YOUR LAST *SPOILER* WARNING!
My intensity was directed at Laurel and Donathan, but mostly Laurel. I called it a few weeks earlier that Laurel was in the absolute best position in this game, and she and Donathan have expertly walked the top of the fence like a tightrope over these past few weeks. On one side they have a tight alliance with Dom and Wendell – the season’s true power couple – while still being involved in conversations across camp due to their Malolo roots. Donathan misplayed a hidden Idol last week, but he’s shown to be more than willing to take big swings and make big moves. This week, they had a real shot at dismantling the power-duo of Dom and Wendell (Dwendell? Womenick?), but Laurel was unmovable despite Donathan’s instincts to rock the boat.
I, as a fan, was cheering for them to shake the game up, and not for anything unkind towards Wendell. I actually love me some Wendell and some Domenick, which is crazy because I tend to always be on the side of the underdogs no matter what. I guess I still am, but instead of feeling spite for those in power, like most seasons, this time around I actually like Dom and Wendell a lot, and would be extremely happy to see either of them win the game. They are well on their way of course, now down to seven, and having two Idols between them, they are clearly the ones to beat.
So the question becomes: What was the best move for Laurel and Donathan to make for their own games? It will be easy to look back at the season when it’s all over with, and supply criticism to what some of the players coulda-woulda-and-shoulda done along the way. If Laurel and Donathan go to the end and one of them wins, it was surely a great move for one of them. But could this have been the week that ended one or both of their games?
You can’t help but understand why Laurel wanted to stay loyal this week…Dom and Wendell had her back as recent as the very last Tribal Council when Kellyn had cast two votes towards Laurel in an attempt to shake up the game. You can also see why Donathan was itching to try to take out Wendell, because he is in desperate need of what they call “resumé-building,” where at the end of the game Donathan will need to point to something that he did in order to win votes. Right now, he is risking being seen as a cling-on to Laurel, which isn’t good for his personal game. Lost in this argument is the fact that Laurel knew all about Wendell’s Idol, so voting for him wouldn’t have necessarily resulted in him going home had he played it…and in that scenario, Laurel’s game would have been completely shaken-up. So it was absolutely the safest route to go along with the Chelsea vote, and in Laurel’s mind, she will still have an opportunity to turn on Dom and Wendell next week – pulling in Angela and Kellyn who are all alone at this point – although it’s arguable that the guys will see a coup coming much more clearly next week than they would have this time around.
But alas, Chelsea was the victim, and not just this week but the victim of this entire season. According to my pals as Survivor Wiki, Chelsea not only was barely seen this season and received what they refer to as a “purple edit” (referring to the rarely seen “Purple Kelly” of Survivor: Nicaragua), but she is tied for THE WORST edit of all-time, with Hope Driskill from Survivor: Caramoan. Who is Hope, you ask? Exactly. According to Survivor Wiki, both Hope and Chelsea averaged only .33 on-camera interviews per episode, which means that we averaged hearing a confessional from Chelsea once every three episodes. That’s brutal. According to Probst, it had nothing to do with Chelsea as a player or a person, but more to do with others driving the story more than her. He offers the golden advice to future Survivor players, in telling them: Make yourself impossible for us not to notice. Chelsea was just a victim of being not “loud” enough in a season full of yellers.
And to put a cap on her somewhat fitting, “invisible” purple edit, Chelsea was also not made available for the usual round of exit interviews following the show. What that means is that there is no audio interview with Chelsea this week on the Podcast, however, I was able to submit five questions to her via email, and will post the questions and her responses by Friday of this week once I get her responses back.
Episode Take-Away: We’re down to just one regular episode leading into the two-hour Survivor: Ghost Island Finale on May 23rd! There are only seven players left in the game, which means it is getting late if anyone is going to act against Dom and Wendell. You would think Kellyn is the big target at this point, because why vote-out Angela at this point? And where does Sebastian fit into all of this? Does he even know he’s on Survivor?
Ultimately this was a very solid episode, and I haven’t even mentioned Aunt Patty yet! By far, she instantly became one of my favorite Survivor sub-characters, and I’m still waiting for someone to create for me a GIF of good ole’ Aunt Patty. Not only was she endearing on the show in her brief minutes, but wait until you hear her backstory from Donathan himself…go follow him and look him up on Twitter to see what he posted about her…it is heart-warming. Boy look at that, there go my allergies again…
Voted out this week: Chelsea Townsend
Won Immunity: Dom (2nd individual win)
Vote: No Idols Played, no advantages played. 5 – Chelsea (Dom, Wendell, Sebastian, Laurel, Donathan), 3 – Wendell (Kellyn, Angela, Chelsea)
Next Week’s Episode: Again, it’s the final regular episode before the two-hour Finale on May 23rd, or what we call the “penultimate” episode in the biz. And from the looks of it, Donathan goes rogue. But is it too little too late?
Quick Note! Remember, no exit interview on the FilmSurvivor Podcast this week since Chelsea was unavailable, but check back on Reality Tea by Friday for a written interview via email with her. That being said, there IS a new Podcast episode that is live NOW, with my audio Recap of the episode as well as a special interview I had with the New Zealand comedians, Tim Batt and Guy Montgomery, hosts of “The Worst Idea of All-Time Podcast.” What’s “the worst idea of all-time?” Well, contrary to popular belief, it’s not trying to run a movie and Survivor-themed podcast! Tune in to the Podcast to find out!
I also encourage you to check out my weekly movie reviews (like “Life of the Party” and “Breaking In” this week) as I am also the national film critic for AXS.com and am a movie critic/TV personality in the Detroit area. Real Housewives Of New York Recap: Grief And Relief
There’s messy, then there’s Sonja Morgan’s townhouse messy. There’s also Luann de Lesseps’ quickie-marriage-and-divorce messy. And even worse, there’s Dorinda Medley after 3 hundred and four martinis messy. As luck would have it, this week on The Real Housewives Of New York, we get to visit all three crumbling kingdoms in one 53-minute episode! And it’s pretty much as cuckoo as one would expect. But here’s the clincher: We come full circle to a tender moment at the end, which peels back another layer of this group’s continually evolving dynamic.
Tinsley Mortimer is back from being stalked/surprised by Scott whisking her off to Chicago, so she wants to spill all of the giddy details to Carole Radziwill over breakfast. Carole isn’t in a good place with Adam, though. He’s apparently met someone else – someone who will actually admit dating him? Because Carole sure as hell wasn’t up for that sh*t. But she’s not up for him dating anyone else either. Essentially, Carole claims Adam didn’t want to break up, so she just accidentally “slipped back into a relationship” with him. But now? It’s OVAH! So it sounds like there will be no more slipping back into anything, anywhere, anytime from now on.
Over at Morgan Manor, Sonja is showing Kristi the real estate broker just what happens when one person lives in a townhouse for too long surrounded by countless interns and bottles of Wesson Oil. Kristi’s official task: To help Sonja prepare the townhouse for leasing. Kristi’s unofficial task: To manage a polite smile while Sonja defends objects like the ones below as tasteful decor. Altogether now! Poooooor Kristi.
Sonja is shocked to hear that not everyone will enjoy her home’s “tone” – especially someone who can afford $32k/month. THIRTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS?! Jayzus. Sonja might be a nutjob, but she’s no idiot for looking to rent this money pit out – even if the ice is brown, the walls are crumbling, and yesterday’s thong is still floating in the bidet.
Bethenny Frankel is in Miami aggressively slicing boxes open when Dorinda pops by to help out. They’re on the first leg of their mission to Puerto Rico, and Dorinda couldn’t be more excited. In fact, since Bethenny decided to take Dorinda along on this disaster relief mission, they’ve been bonding more than ever.
Dorinda listens as Bethenny tells her about the horrific conditions in PR, and how B-Strong has organized efforts to help. The planes and infrastructure are all donated, so Bethenny can use all donation money for cash cards that go straight to people on the ground. She also organized all of her efforts without any red tape – no government or private organizations gave her permission or stood in her way. Say what you will about Bethenny, but that’s incredible. Dorinda is impressed.
Someone who conspicuously didn’t get invited to Puerto Rico as Bethenny’s Plus One is Carole, who instead got the boobie prize: Ramona Singer and Tinsley meeting her at the nail salon. After Ramona complains about how batsh*t Sonja is (which is like my cat complaining that my other cat is lazy), she dives right into her passive aggressive digs about Bethenny choosing Dorinda over Carole.
Practically squealing with delight, Ramona chirps, “Oh, you didn’t KNOW? I’m surprised she didn’t ASK YOU. You’d think she would have invited YOU!” Carole says it’s all good, even though you know, she did lots of that kind of work at ABC…just in case we all forgot since the last time she told us five minutes prior to this moment.
Somewhere very far away from Ramona’s manicure, Bethenny and Dorinda are visiting the B-Strong warehouse. Michael, Bethenny’s charity partner, updates her on the 10 million pounds of supplies they’ll be delivering. Besides cash cards, they’re taking sleeping bags, generators, water – you name it. Dorinda had no idea how much of a gargantuan effort this has been, and she’s grateful to be part of it. Now, Dorinda says, “It seems real to me.”
Meanwhile, Luann is meeting her daughter Victoria out for lunch in the city. She’s getting a chance to reconnect with her kids now that the Tom nightmare is in her rearview mirror. But it’s not all roses. And it never was, Luann admits. Tom never really let her into his life completely. She didn’t even feel at home in the PENTHOUSE, people! Oh, the humanity! “In retrospect, why did I have to get married?” asks Luann, practically making Victoria roll her eyes alllll the way back in her head. Apparently, Tom has a new girlfriend – which Luann says she’s fine with. Sure, Jan. Sure.
Victoria says she thinks her mom shouldn’t regret anything, but in the end, is glad they split up. She apparently told Tom straight up that he was a superficial person and an awkward hugger, which pretty much makes Victoria the hero of last year’s entire RHONY season. Why could we not see that on camera? Damn you, Bravo!
Oh no. Gird your loins. It’s about to go down. The dinner with Bethenny’s charity partners and Dorinda is barely underway, and Gangsta Do is already half in the bag before she even sits/slumps down at the table. After slurring hellos to Bobby, Michael, Eve, and Omar, Dorinda starts blabbing about G-5s and luggage and – oh who the eff knows? Let’s put it this way: There is closed captioning under every phrase she utters, and it is absolutely necessary.
Except Bethenny’s friends don’t have the luxury of reading Dorinda’s drunken ramblings printed handily on their TV screens, so they must suffer through every cringeworthy second. You guys, I I actually can’t even look! OMG. SERIOUSLY I CAN’T. (Hold me.)
Bethenny admits that she and Dorinda had a few drinks before dinner, but she suspects Do was pre-gaming before that. Because homegirl is wasted. When Dorinda tries to bizarrely argue with Bethenny’s partners, Bethenny looks like she wishes she spent that last 3 million on a black market Harry Potter cloak of invisibility rather than another Manhattan condo. She is living a nightmare, and super-drunk Dorinda is none the wiser.
When Dorinda starts arguing about how the people in Haiti are still suffering and she used to give money with Richard but it never helped – blah blah blah – Bethenny’s finally had enough. “Maybe you shouldn’t come tomorrow if you feel that way,” she says. Since Dorinda’s mind has officially left the building (and let’s be honest, it never really entered), she immediately storms out in a huff, slur-yelling how Bethenny ruins everything. “I was excited! I was so happy! You did this!” Um, Dorinda, you forgot one last parting statement: I was mortifying. At least she got one thing right. This was a sh*tshow.
In a moment that is truly refreshing, Bethenny tells her tablemates that Dorinda is a good person who has some personal pain, was obviously affected by alcohol, and is probably going to beat herself up for acting like this tonight. She assures Omar (who will be actually traveling with them) that it will all be okay, that Dorinda will move on and be positive. And she assures everyone else that the work they’re doing is important and necessary. Ultimately, Bethenny already has compassion for the Dorinda of tomorrow, who she knows will wake up filled with regret but ready to go.
Back in NY, Sonja is hitting on her real estate photographer (natch) and making excuses for her house being a filthy rotten mess (natch). Travis the photographer barely has time to change the lens on his camera to “Blur Dog Feces” before Sonja practically humps his leg. Too bad he’s married. Sigh. All the good 27-year olds are taken! And gay. Well – at least Travis is. Sonja is actually thrilled to hear this news because now she can force him to make out with her at her weekly gay party. You know, the one she’s been throwing for YEARS that no one on the planet has ever heard about?
In Miami, Bethenny and Omar are hauling cash cards to the plane. As predicted, Dorinda is up and ready, and she’s not dwelling on the horror show of the night before. Bethenny waits until they board the plane to address the situation. She doesn’t want to come down on Dorinda too harshly but finally works up the nerve to say, “You go to a 16 out of 10. And the way you sometimes treat me is worse than Ramona. I just sometimes cut you slack because you’re a drunk.” OUCH.
Dorinda’s eyes look pained, but she doesn’t get deep right away. Instead, she makes excuses about being up too long, maybe drinking a wee bit too much, being stressed out. Yeah, but there’s more going on here. Dorinda doesn’t think she’s an alcoholic, resenting Bethenny’s attempt to label her (even though the word hasn’t been uttered yet). But Bethenny says she’s scared of the person Dorinda becomes when she drinks that much. It’s a whole ‘nother level of insanity. And not the fun kind.
Does she miss Richard? Yes, Dorinda admits, every day. Tearing up, Dorinda says seeing Dennis (Bethenny’s boyfriend) triggered something in her. And Sonja blathering on about her divorce obviously triggered her too. “I have a life now that’s not the life I expected,” she cries. She knows she’s moving backward, and she is starting to let it sink in that John isn’t fulfilling her relationship goals. Bethenny reminds Dorinda that no one can tell her who the right match for her is, but there’s probably some truth to all of this unhappiness stemming from unhappiness with John.
“The person I was 6-7 months after Richard died – when I started dating John – isn’t the person I am today,” says Dorinda. “Maybe I need to go to therapy.” And maybe she just needs a hug, which Bethenny gives her. Wow. What an emotional rollercoaster of an episode. Are you guys all in a safe space? Everyone okay? Damn, RHONY – I’m not crying. You’re crying! I don’t care what anyone says, these women continue to surprise me, flaws and all. I’m rooting for them.
TELL US: THOUGHTS ON THE BETHENNY/DORINDA CONVERSATION? WILL SONJA EVER MOVE OUT OF THAT TOWNHOUSE? IS LUANN REALLY OKAY WITH TOM GETTING A NEW GIRLFRIEND?

Report: Kandi Burruss Producing Reality TV Show Starring Marlo Hampton
If Marlo Hampton ever opened up about her mysterious life on Real Housewives of Atlanta, it would make for a very interesting show. Unfortunately, there are just no straight answers with Marlo. Ever. Any time she “answers” a question, it just leads to more questions.
After all these years of making appearances on Real Housewives of Atlanta as a Friend of the Housewives, we still know nothing about her, let alone what she actually does for a living. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t look like Marlo will ever become a full-time cast member. Why hand her a peach when she’s willing to stir things up at a discounted rate? Fortunately, Marlo might be starring in a whole new reality TV show.
According to an article from theJasmineBRAND, Atlanta Housewife Kandi Burruss will be the executive producer on a WeTV show called Hotlanta. Side note, I can’t believe it’s 2018, and that title has not already been used for a reality TV show. Supposedly “the show will allegedly focus on cast members in Atlanta with storylines similar to Real Housewives of Atlanta.” So basically it’s just the same concept, but with different people?
Some “inside source” said that Marlo would star on the show, which could be interesting depending on how much Marlo is actually willing to reveal. That same source said that Kandi would not appear on the show, but she would just work behind-the-scenes as an executive producer.
TELL US- DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A GOOD CONCEPT FOR A SHOW? WOULD YOU WANT TO WATCH A SHOW STARING MARLO HAMPTON? WILL YOU MISS SEEING MARLO ON REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA IF SHE GETS HER OWN SHOW?
