Andy Cohen Explains Why They Won’t Build Real Housewives Of Chicago Around Tinsley Mortimer

We were ALL expecting the new Real Housewives series announcement at BravoCon. However, pretty much no one saw it coming when Andy Cohen said the new show is Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Many people were so sure that the Real Housewives of Chicago was in the works. Not only that, but Tinsley Mortimer has been going back and forth to Chicago thanks to her relationship with Scott Kluth. After she got engaged, it made sense that Tinsley would leave New York City for the Windy City. I mean, come on, she doesn’t even really live there. She is just staying in a hotel room while she films. Are all of these elements coming together for Real Housewives of Chicago to launch centered around Tinsley’s move? Not so fast, you guys. Andy is not on board with this notion.

People writer Dave Quinn tweeted about a recent episode of Andy’s radio show. He wrote, “On @RadioAndySXM this am, @Andy addressed those REAL HOUSEWIVES OF CHICAGO rumors and why a spinoff in the Windy City isn’t coming. ‘We just didn’t find the right casting for Chicago. Whatever casting we did, it wasn’t right and we haven’t gone back to do more. That’s the issue.'”

Alright, we have heard that many times over. However, things can change with time. Maybe there’s more happening in Chicago, especially with Tinsley’s arrival.

Dave followed up with this tweet: “That’s the same story, even with Tinsley Mortimer’s upcoming move there, @Andy said. “If [we] were going to start a new franchise, I just think it would be with someone who had deep roots in Chicago. Who had a whole real, big life in Chicago. If she’s just moving there…” Damn. That’s cold, but he does have a good point.

Then again, Tinsley “not belonging in Chicago” could have been a jump-off point for a series. However, it’s not like Tinsley is a lightning rod on Real Housewives of New York. Ugh, who am I kidding? She definitely brings the least to the show out of all the current cast members. I just really wanted Real Housewives of Chicago to happen.

Marty Caffrey Says Real Housewives Of New Jersey Owe Danielle Staub Their Paychecks & Careers

After restraining orders, mudslinging, and a super messy divorce, Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey are still living together. And, according to Teresa Giudice, they’re still having sex, which I believe.

Even if they aren’t back together, Marty still has Danielle’s back. Yes, even after everything she put him through. She was a bridezilla all of Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9. She pulled him away from his children, spent all his money, and the list goes on. Apparently, Marty is the most forgiving person on the planet because he is still standing up for his ex.

The Instagram account Best of Bravo shared screenshots from the comments section in an Instagram Story. A fan wrote, “I don’t know why everyone is hating on @danielle_staub in the comments. If it wasn’t for her New Jersey housewives would have been canceled. She put them on the map! Period.” I don’t think that the show would have been canceled, but I do think the cast’s divide with Danielle and Teresa’s table-flipping tantrum did put the show on the map.

Marty agreed with this comment and replied, “They all owe their paychecks and careers to @danielle_staub when they really think about it. There’s a reason she was Andy [Cohen]’s first guest [on Watch What Happens Live] and Teresa wasn’t. Even today they all have to constantly invoke Danielle to be relevant when she’s not even there to stand up for herself. Without her, do any of them have a storyline to this day?”

Teresa is dealing with her husband’s deportation drama. Jennifer Aydin is stirring shit up constantly. Margaret Josephs is making fun of the Teresa cheating rumors. Jackie Goldschneider wants to be friends with Dolores Catania. Melissa Gorga is pretending she wants a fourth baby. Well, minus that last one, there are some genuine storylines on this show.

Danielle responded to her ex, “Awww thank you @marty_caffrey for speaking on my behalf. Truly Means a lot!” So, they’re definitely back together, right?

Tamra Judge Makes Fun Of Kelly Dodd’s Hairline; Kelly Says Tamra “Lacks Morals, Values, Integrity, Brain Cells, & A Daughter”

Even though Tamra Judge and Kelly Dodd are constantly at odds, the Real Housewives of Orange County stars do have one habit in common. No, I’m not referring to their tendency to go for the jugular mid-argument. I’m actually talking about their shared habit of tweeting and deleting scathing remarks.

Thankfully, screenshots exist. Hopefully, Kelly plans to continue those anger management sessions because she went too far in response to Tamra hating on her hairline.

Kelly posted screenshots of comments on Tamra’s Instagram account. A fan commented, “Get rid of Kelly bring back #fancypants!” Of course, “Fancy Pants” is a reference to Heather Dubrow, who has claimed many times over that she would not return if Kelly is still a part of the show. Tamra agreed to this comment with some affirmative emojis.

In a different post, Tamra wrote, “I thought Shannon [Beador]’s hair looked amazing! How about you?” Obviously, that was alluding to Kelly’s rude comments about Shannon’s extensions in Miami. In response, a fan said “Kelly shouldn’t talk about people’s hair with that receding hairline of hers.” Tamra responded, “combover” and that was enough to set Kelly off.

Along with those screenshots, Kelly wrote, “Tamra leave me alone? A constant attack about my Receding hairline? Good 1 Tamra. I’d rather lack hair than lack morals, values, integrity, brain cells, education, and a daughter. I have more hair than right @JuliusMichael #uniboob #nobellybutton #rat #eyes.” Julius is the hairstylist who works with most of the Bravolebrities when they are on Watch What Happens Live.

Kelly went way too far with that rant, which is probably she deleted the post. However, I am laughing at the “no belly button” hashtag. But, once again, the reference to Tamra’s daughter crossed the line, taking me back to their argument in Ireland about this same issue.

Braunwyn Windham-Burke Says She’s A Better Person Because Of Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, & Vicki Gunvalson

Am I the only one struggling to decide how I feel about Braunwyn Windham-Burke? She joined Real Housewives of Orange County as a friend of Kelly Dodd’s. Then, she was all about the Tamra Judge makeout sessions. She’s gone back and forth all season between being on the right side of history and going out of the way to kiss Tamra, Shannon Beador, and Vicki Gunvalson’s asses.

Vicki has treated her like gum on the bottom of her sneaker all season long, yet Braunwyn (sweetly) decorated a suite in Miami in honor of Vicki’s engagement. Vicki still isn’t nice to her, by the way. Braunwyn has seen the Tres Amigas spread rumors about Kelly all season, yet she’s still going back and forth between both camps. Meanwhile, both Kelly and Emily Simpson have been nothing but nice to her. The only person who seems more confused than Braunwyn is Gina Kirschenheiter. And, no, I’m not just talking about Gina’s extremely questionable style. After a whole season of being treated poorly by that trio, Gina is training to get inducted into the Tres Amigas. I don’t get why she is so loyal to someone who is such a snake (Tamra), but at least she’s consistent with her loyalties… at this point anyway. Braunwyn, she’s a whole other story.

Get ready for this one, Braunwyn credits Tamra, Shannon, and Vicki for making her a better person. And, no, she doesn’t mean that in the “they make bad choices, so I’ve learned to do the opposite” sort of way. Color me confused. Is Braunwyn jonesing for Gina’s role as the Tres Amigas intern?

During an episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County After Show, Braunwyn said, “I think I got lucky though with the women that I’m working with. Shannon and Tamra have been amazing to me. You and Tamra, and honestly, even Vicki recently, have made me such a better person.” Umm, what? Is that some brown I see on Braunwyn’s nose?

Braunwyn claimed, “I’m not just saying that. You’ve brought me outside of my shell. You’ve gotten me outside of my comfort zone, and like, I’m so grateful for this.” How did they bring Braunwyn out of her comfort zone? By making out in public? Making her cry on a tour bus? Someone, please enlighten me.

Braunwyn proclaimed, “The person who started the show is not… I have a backbone now. And I did not have a backbone this whole season. I did not and I just f*cking cried.” And you have one now? You have been flip flopping back and forth the entire season, girl.

Shannon interjected with, “From what I’ve seen so far, you have been a breath of fresh air…. since I’ve been on the show. I just feel like finally there’s another person that’s authentic that’s putting shit out there that is real and not comfortable to watch back and could put you at odds with your kids.” Clearly, she’s alluding to the girl-on-girl makeout sessions and the constant threesome chatter.

Shannon concluded, “You’re talking about things that are really serious, but they’re real in your life. The fact that you’re able to be authentic and put that out there, it’s a real blessing to the show.” I would not go that far, Shannon.  I like Braunwyn, but she is by no means a “blessing” to this show. Let’s see how she performs during the reunion episodes.

Tinsley Mortimer Denies Rumors Scott Kluth Made Her Quit Real Housewives Of New York

Tinsley Mortimer was noticeably absent from the Real Housewives New York vacation in Mexico. Of course, this was right on the heels of her engagement to Scott Kluth. She may have met Scott while filming the show, but RHONY fans are well-aware that he wants nothing to do with reality TV.

He lives in Chicago. Meanwhile, she pretends to live in NYC for the show has a hotel room in the Big Apple. How’s that gonna work? Did she just quit the show mid-season? What about those rumors that Scott gave Tinsley an ultimatum to choose him or the show?

Normally, cast members don’t comment on a season, while it’s in production, but Tinsley did do an interview with People recently. She told the magazine, “Scott and I have been celebrating our engagement in Chicago, where I will soon call home.” I read that as “Tinsley will finish filming Season 12, but that will be the end of her run.”

Tinsley told the publication, “The last few weeks have been such a wonderful whirlwind of excitement, and we both wanted to spend this special time with each other and our families.” I hope that we get to see Dale Mercer’s reaction to the engagement news on camera. Unrelated sidebar,  I will never get over Dale telling Tinsley that Tinsley’s ex-husband has “the cutest baby” she has ever seen.

Anyway, Tinsley continued, “As with many relationships, life does not completely stop for love, which is why I will continue to honor my work commitments in NYC while Scott focuses on CouponCabin’s busy season in Chicago.” Again, I feel like this is Tinsley’s final season on the show.

She addressed the rumors circulating that Scott was all “Choose me or the show.” Tinsley said, “It’s important for me to set the record straight. Any reports saying that I had to decide between Scott or the show are 100 percent untrue. We are enjoying this incredibly happy time in our lives.”

Tinsley’s whole storyline centered around her desire to get engaged. Now, that she is engaged, it makes sense to end her run on the show. However, I would love to see the RHONY ladies getting sloppy at her bachelorette party. So, for that reason alone, I would love it if Tinsley stuck around for just one more season so we could be blessed with footage of Sonja Morgan shopping for penis straws and Dorinda Medley’s unintelligible slurring during a toast.

Shannon Beador Brings Real Housewives Alum’s Ex As Her Date To Vicki Gunvalson’s Engagement Party

Can you believe that we are already at the finale of the Real Housewives of Orange County? The season went by so fast. I can’t say that a lot happened, but for me, the season was a bit better than the last few have been. Which is not a ringing endorsement, but I will call it progress. Thirsty Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s make-out sessions with Tamra Judge are not part of said progress. Emily Simpson’s occasional spot-on snark is.

One of my favorite parts of the season has been seeing Shannon Beador get her groove back. Well, as much as Shannon can groove, anyways. It was great to see her come out on the other side of her bitter divorce emotionally intact and a little happier. On this week’s episode, we saw Shannon out on a date with “Babe,” the man she at met at a bar earlier in the season. Babe is not the only gentleman Shannon was grooving with at the time of filming, however. She also brought a surprise date to Vicki Gunvalson’s engagement party–a real blast from the OC past.

E! News shared a clip from next week’s RHOC episode, which highlights Vicki and Steve Lodge’s engagement party. In the clip, Shannon shares that she has brought a date to the party. She stated, “Here’s Duff right now. This is my guy, new guy right here. He’s not my new guy, we went on a date.”

Does the name Duff sound familiar to longtime RHOC viewers? If it doesn’t, Shannon went on to explain, “You know what’s interesting is he had a child with Tammy Knickerbocker who used to hang out with this group of people. So, he knows a lot of people here.”

Duff Evans, the gentleman in question, was former Housewife Tammy’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her young son. Tammy was a Housewife on seasons 2 and 3 and has popped up sporadically since then, most recently on season 10. She and Duff still had a close relationship when Tammy was on the show. Duff seemed like a nice guy and it was never really clear why the two couldn’t make it work.

The clip also shows Duff walking into the party, saying hello to Vicki’s brother Billy on his way in. Billy was probably excited to see a familiar face to stave off the boredom. It is not like this is Vicki’s first engagement. Or her second. How many engagement parties is one expected to attend for a sister?

Of course, Shannon’s Tres Amigas buddies also took note of her date. Tamra said, “Oh, Duff’s here.” And third Tres Amiga Vicki acknowledged, “Oh good. He’s fine.” Which from Vicki, is a high accolade!

We will probably get more details on Shannon’s “Duff date” next week, but the two obviously did not work out as a couple as she has been in a relationship with John Janssen since the summer. Shannon’s Instagram is full of pictures of the two of them together, as well as photos of them posing in group photos with their respective children–six in total.

Will Shannon be the next OC Housewife announcing her engagement? Love and engagement seems to be in the OC air as Kelly Dodd recently announced her engagement to Rick Leventhal. Time will tell, but Shannon deserves happiness and it appears she just might have found it with John.

Temptation Island Season 2 Episode Recap: Final Bonfire Part 1

In a sea of mediocre Real Housewives shows, Temptation Island has been a welcome change. This season has had more twists and turns than anything else I’ve seen as of late. Right off the bat, major drama happened when Ashley Goldson hooked up with KB Brown because Rick Fleur said the cuffs were off. David Benavidez wanted Kate Griffith to trust him, but then he betrayed her by hooking up with multiple women and having a threesome. 

Even Casey Starchak’s strategy to win back Ashley Howland from Ben Knobloch was next level. After comparing her to a rat in a box, and saying he didn’t care if Ashley broke up with him, he decided to manipulate her with a “sales pitch” and the diamond ring she had been wanting. So, how will it all end? Thankfully, we have a two part bonfire to wrap this all up!

Speaking of wrapping up, all of the overnight dates were officially over when the couples arrived back to their villas the next morning. At the girls’ villa, everyone was glowing and gave a nod to each other like did you hook up too? Ashley H. said she felt like she was in a fairytale. 

Her fairy tale quickly ended though when Mark L. Walberg showed up to announce that it’s time for everyone to “say goodbye for now… or goodbye forever.” I love how extra he can be. The only one who wasn’t in tears was Ashley G. as she had no connection to Jose Rodriguez other than friendship. But Kate, Esonica Veira, and Ashley H. weren’t ready to move on from Dominique Price, Kareem Thomas and Ben. 

The vibe at the guys’ villa was totally different. No one besides David was interested romantically in their overnight date. As Gavin Rocker bored the group with a story of putting a dolphin fin in his mouth, Casey swooped in and dazzled everyone with his engagement ring for Ashley H. Medinah Ali couldn’t believe he was going to propose to someone who had cheated on him. Yeah, probably not the best idea.

Then Mark told the group to say their goodbyes. Rick was very sweet with Medinah, and thanked her for helping him grow. Even though it didn’t work out between them, I’m sure they will be friends for a long time.

Rachel Hamel calmed down a nervous Casey and promised he would be ok no matter what the outcome. Casey said he couldn’t imagine going back to a life without Ashley. Might be time to expand that imagination!

David promised Toneata Morgan he would be there for her at the end, but only because he knows Kate probably isn’t taking his cheating ass back. Toneata blindly accepted his words and believed David was being “100% honest” with her. How she can fall for a guy who is there to prove he is trustworthy, and then immediately proved he is not trustworthy is beyond me. 

Then there was a quick montage of Ashley G. and Rick, and Kate and David’s time on the island. Now we know whose fates will be sealed this bonfire! Can Ashley and Rick reconcile?Will Kate fold when she sees David?

Ashley G. and Rick go first. On her way to the bonfire, Ashley said she didn’t know if Rick loved her enough to forgive her the way she had forgiven him. Well, Ashley hasn’t had a taste of the new and improved Rick yet!

Mark then laid out the ground rules for them. He wanted Rick to discuss his time on the island, and asked Ashley to only listen. Rick talked about Medinah, and how he had fallen for her at one point. He confirmed they didn’t have sex, but they did cuddle which was more intimate to him. As Ashley teared up, Rick told her that Medinah is currently in the friend zone.

Mature Rick then stepped out from the shadows, and said he learned how to better handle conflict and expressing his feelings. He’s now a stand up, trustworthy guy, who has proved himself the face of temptation. Rick told Ashley he was disappointed in what he saw her do, but realized he needed to put her first. If anyone did a 180 from how they were at the beginning of the show, it’s definitley Rick. 

Then Ashley got to tell her side. Ashley let him know that when he said the cuffs were off, it conveyed to everyone that he didn’t care about their relationship, and it made her feel insecure. She admitted she did something really stupid, and was holding herself accountable for that. But she still didn’t come clean about what she did with KB.

Ashley said she always thought that she was the victim in their relationship, but realized that wasn’t true. She also realized that Rick is a good guy, and she needed to focus on knowing her self-worth. Still, she didn’t know what was next for them. 

Mark put the pressure on and asked Ashley if she wanted to leave with Rick, by herself, or with someone else. There was a long awkward silence until Ashley mumbled if Rick could go first. Rick couldn’t believe it. He pushed back that Mark asked her first. I think Ashley didn’t answer because she didn’t want to look like a fool if she said she wanted Rick back and he rejected her.

But Rick stepped in and saved her. He apologized for his handcuff comment, but he also wanted clarification if she slept with KB. Ashley couldn’t look at him, but nodded her head yes.

Rick called her out for being disrespectful when she said KB made it easier for her to move on. He said his emotional connection with Medinah helped to improve himself, but her sexual connection with KB reversed her growth. Mark  jumped in and asked if Rick could forgive her like she had forgiven him in the past. Good question, Mark!

Rick answered that he felt hurt and embarrassed, but knows what he did in the past was wrong. Things got tense when Rick asked Ashley if she loved him. She again didn’t speak, but kept quiet and nodded her head yes. There was another long pause, and Rick finally said he forgave her and wanted to leave the island with her. Ashley responded with a kiss.

After they left bonfire, Rick said he passed with flying colors. And Ashley…not so much. But according to Rick, all is forgiven. He told Ashley that “real life stuff shouldn’t be so difficult.” As long as Rick and Ashley keep an open communication, I think they have a shot. Congrats on making it through Temptation Island!

Next up is Kate and David. Now, unlike Rick and Ashley, I am not hoping these two get together. In fact, I’m hoping that Kate kicks him to the curb real quick.

Kate walked in with a look like she meant business. She told Mark that she is strong, confident, and ready to face David. David on the other hand, looked scared when he sat down. With good reason too, because Kate let him have it. Yas queen!

First, she thanked him for bringing her to the island. It turned her into a stronger person who knows her self-worth, and what she deserves in a relationship. And David does not deserve her time. Mark even nodded in agreement. 

Kate reminded David he brought her here to prove that she could trust him, but immediately cheated on her instead. She added that every word he said to her was BS, and she deserved someone whose words were followed up with actions. David responded by squeezing out some fake tears of guilt. 

She then called him a coward for bringing her there and said he should have just told her their relationship wasn’t working. Kate then snapped at David and told him to look at her while she was talking. Daaang! 

David responded with a half-hearted apology full of more BS. He said he didn’t mean to embarrass her, or bring her there to break up with her. He then tried to prove how much he’d grown by pointing out he just shed a tear like a real human being. Kate’s face read, “Boy, bye!”

David then dug the hole deeper when he started listing off every lewd act he did with another girl on the island. Because that would help how? Kate cut him off, she did’t even want to hear it.

Kate questioned how Toneata could fall for David after what he did with the other women. Exactly! Then she put him in his place again when she told him not to “tell all of America you just whored yourself out.” So…I’m pretty sure these two break up. But we’ll have to wait until next week to find out!
