Heather Gay Reflects On “Rough Girls Trip”And Speculation About Her Black Eye

As far as dysfunctional cast trips go, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has pulled ahead of the pack. The mystery of Heather Gay’s black eye is unparalleled, not to mention the fact that no explanation has been provided. Despite the vague recollections and shifting commentary, the RHOSLC ladies glossed off the issue, either because no one knew what happened, or because no one was willing to speak up.

Heather seemed unwilling or unable to provide any insight, so what were the RHOSLC ladies to do? The trip continued, despite the unease. According to Bravo’s The Daily Dish the squad appeared on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City: After Show to react to what went down in San Diego.

Not one to mince words, Lisa Barlow started off the conversation by bluntly exclaiming, “I was shocked. I was like, ‘who hit her?'”

Meredith Marks and Jen Shah were both in Heather’s room when she revealed her injury to them. Both reacted with shock and disbelief. “Obviously I was surprised,” Meredith said. “I mean, we had all been up pretty late, I don’t know 3, 4am. Left Heather’s room. I went to sleep, like, the last thing I was expecting was….” The text cut off to footage of Heather removing her sunglasses to reveal her black eye to the RHOSLC cast.

During the interview, Heather maintained the joking demeanor she had during the episode. “But you could tell. Like, it was obvious. There was no way I could hide it.” Meredith added, “A little concealer, no one would have noticed. You just needed better glam.”

“Better makeup, better glam,” Heather agreed. While Team Heather and Meredith are taking a decidedly laid-back approach, Whitney Rose and Danna Bui Negrete felt very uneasy about the black eye.

Whitney did not agree with her cousin’s reaction. She said, “I just remember feeling nauseous. Like really concerned for everyone. Like are we safe? And she was trying to be funny about it.”

Danna agreed, “We were concerned. We’re like, ‘we need to take you to the doctor.’ She’s like, ‘It’s fine, I’m fine. Don’t let this ruin your day.'” Considering how much drama had already been played out in San Diego, Heather explained that she didn’t want to ruin the rest of the trip. It’s been disappointing enough that the RHOSLC cast can only take domestic flights while filming.

“As dumb as it sounds, I just wanted to minimize it,” Heather explained. “It had been a pretty rough girls trip. I truly felt a little bit broken, a little bit beat up. Figuratively, and physically. And I just thought, just get through it. Time to make the donuts,” she stated. “Just get through this. And I just wanted to minimize it and try and salvage the trip for what it was.”

Oddly, Heather felt her cast mates brushed off the severity of the issue. She concluded, “I didn’t want anymore feigned concern about me or my eye. Nobody gave a shit, so let’s just move on.”

Danna gave a conflicting reaction. “We’re like no, we’re really concerned. We gotta see what’s going on, like what happened to you?” she recalled.

Whitney added, “And her story kept changing.” Heather indeed kept waffling between not knowing what happened and saying that no one wanted to speak about it.

“She did allude to that,” Whitney said of her cousin. “She goes, ‘Well people know. People know what happened. There’s witnesses.’ And then she looked at me and I go, ‘Heather‘ once again, just me being caring to Heather. ‘I’m like Heather, are you ok?’ and she goes, ‘Whatever you do, if you get a knock on your door at 4am, don’t answer it.'”

Whitney found Heather’s vague accusations potentially damaging to the group. She explained, “And then she started pulling that it could be anyone. And I didn’t like that because that puts a lot of people’s jobs and a lot of people’s futures at risk.”

Lisa also thought Heather should have been more direct. And after all the fighting at the Marilyn Monroe dinner, the Vida Tequila founder thought Heather was unnecessarily playing up the incident.

“The fact that Heather’s being so coy about this, and not just flat out saying what happened to her, we would all stop talking about this,” she opined. “I’m like, ‘Heather do you need more attention? Is this a diversion from last night’s conversation?”

Dancing With The Stars Judge Derek Hough And Hayley Erbert Were Involved In A “Scary” Car Accident

Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars was phenomenal. TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and returning pro Mark Ballas danced their way to mirrorball glory. Long-time judge Len Goodman stunned the ballroom by announcing his retirement. And dance pro Cheryl Burke also departed the show.

In June 2022, judge (and former pro dancer) Derek Hough popped the question to girlfriend Hayley Erbert. Of course, Hayley accepted.

People reported that on December 12, 2022, the duo was involved in a car accident. Hayley and Derek shared the details in a video on Instagram on December 23, 2022. “Derek and I got into a pretty scary car accident in the mountains. Our accident involved a steep hill, icy roads, a tree, and worst of all, the fear that we would slide off the mountain,” Hayley captioned the video, which showed the damage to the car and their stint at the emergency room. They even documented Hayley getting stitches in her forehead.

Derek wrote in the comments, “The scariest part was that Hayley doesn’t remember anything. She was dazed afterwards, being cheerful saying we should keep going to dinner as blood ran down her face.” He continued, “That really scared me.” Derek added that Hayley finally “came to” about 20 minutes after the accident. Thankfully, first responders were there.

After being examined at the hospital, the couple bought some snacks to eat after their terrifying experience. Hayley’s difficulty eating her candy was “one of the saddest things about tonight.”

“It’s taken me a very long time to chew it ’cause it hurts ’cause of this area. Bummer,” she said, gesturing to the stitches in her forehead. Poor Hayley! That girl deserves all the candy she wants.

The couple is “grateful” for several reasons. “First, that there were no other people involved. Second, the quick response from paramedics,” Hayley wrote in the caption. “And lastly, that we are both okay and that I only walked away a little banged up, a swollen face, and four stitches above my eyebrow.”

She added, “Now, more than ever, we realize how fragile life is and how important it is to love those around you. We hope that everyone has a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season.”

Derek and Hayley’s DWTS family filled the comments with love and support. “Omfg guys I’m so glad you both are ok!!! Thank god!” Peta Murgatroyd wrote. Pro Emma Slater posted, “I’m so sorry Hayley. happy you’re ok. Rest.”

Cheryl said, “Omg! Thank God you’re both okay. Sending you love and a fast recovery. You’ll be able to chew candy in no time.” DWTS pro Alan Bersten wrote, “Glad you and @derekhough are ok,” along with a praying hands emoji.

We are sending Hayley our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

U.S. Government Requests Jen Shah Get 10 Years In Prison For Her Role In Nationwide Telemarketing Scheme

As Jen Shah’s sentencing draws closer, more information about her role in this massive nationwide telemarketing scheme is finally being revealed. By now, we’ve all heard and seen Jen’s arrest on the second season of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City when NYPD stormed the scene with their bulletproof vests looking for Jen. Jen left the scene in a hurry before they arrived.

But we’ve all seen that you can’t run from the law for too long. Jen was taken into custody on the side of the road and eventually slapped with money laundering and conspiracy to commit wire fraud accusations. Initially, Jen declared and boasted about her innocence. She cried on camera, brought up tragic incidents like her mother emptying her savings account for her to secure a legal team, and so much more. For the most part, fans didn’t buy it, not even for a second. But jeez, the way she maintained her innocence, I almost thought I could be wrong.

Anyway, she eventually pleaded guilty, and her sentencing date was set. But it kept getting pushed back because of schedule conflicts and the holiday season. As January 6th approaches, the United States government has finally submitted its request for Jen’s prison sentence. According to court documents obtained by People, the government requested Jen receive 120 months of imprisonment, or a total of 10 years.

And if that wasn’t shocking enough, the government detailed its reasons why– and the statements are chilling. The documents detail that Jen “took a series of increasingly extravagant steps to conceal her criminal conduct from the authorities” and “engaged in a years-long, comprehensive effort to hide her continued role in the scheme.”

It also noted, “For nearly a decade, the defendant was an integral leader of a wide-ranging, nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme that victimized thousands of innocent people. Many of those people were elderly or vulnerable.”

WOW. This is the first time RHOSLC viewers are really being given insight into what went down behind the scenes. From the statement itself, Jen was a “leader” in this scheme, and for that, I can’t imagine the judge being lenient. Jen asked for three years just before this request came out.

“Many of those people suffered significant financial hardship and damage. At the defendant’s direction, victims were defrauded over and over again until they had nothing left. She and her co-conspirators persisted in their conduct until the victims’ bank accounts were empty, their credit cards were at their limits, and there was nothing more to take,” the documents read.

Now hearing that the government is calling Jen “the most culpable person charged in this case” makes her and her declarations of innocence on TV look foolish. The documents also state that Jen’s “belated expressions of remorse ring hollow” in reference to the campaign she went on to convince the world she was innocent.

The government added that Jen went “on a public offensive against the charges and tried to profit off the charges by selling ‘Justice for Jen’ merchandise,” which should be considered in her sentencing.

From the sounds of it, Jen is in for a rude awakening. Not only did she think she’d get out of this, she thought she’d be able to convince the world, the government, and a jury of her innocence. The only good thing about this is that the victims will finally get the justice they deserve. And for Jen, I truly hope it was worth it. The three seasons of a reality show in which you showcased your faux designer bags and $80,000 parties- all of which were likely purchased with stolen money. After this, we’ll probably never see Jen Shah on our tv screens again, and I know most people are ecstatic about that.

Below Deck’s Captain Lee Rosbach Returns Before The End Of Season 10; Says “I Wanted To Be Able To Finish What I Started”

The incredibly dedicated and determined Captain Lee Rosbach struggled with his decision to depart Below Deck Season 10. Of course it was the right call. Lee struggled physically after losing feeling in the left side of his body. Nerve damage in his leg left him unable to captain a yacht properly.

That didn’t make it any easier for Captain Lee to leave though. And before he even finished his good-bye speech to the crew of motor yacht St. David, Captain Lee promised to return before the end of the charter season.

And by golly, he did it, People confirmed. “I made a promise to the crew before I left that I would be back before they were done, before the season was over, and I would walk on board by myself unassisted,” Captain Lee stated. “I’m happy to say that I was able to fulfill the promise.”

He added, “That was a very proud moment for me. I wanted to be able to finish what I started.”

Our Stud of the Sea was seen by doctors and physical therapists during his time on land to deal with deteriorating nerve issues. Though his medical team confirmed that the surgeries he had on his back and neck went “extremely well,” Captain Lee struggled with balance and basic motor skills while still on board. “My mind’s there, my heart’s there, my body just won’t cooperate,” Captain Lee told his crew before leaving the boat. “I’ve never quit, and this time, I have to.”

Referring to his policy of issuing one-way tickets home, Captain Lee joked, “I finally gave myself a plane ticket home, but it’s round trip. I’m going to go back to the States, get this straightened out and as soon as I do I’ll be on the first plane back here and tell whoever’s on board to get the f– off my boat.”

Well, that someone was none other than Captain Sandy Yawn from Below Deck Mediterranean. Her appearance on-screen was met with mixed reactions from viewers. Thankfully, disappointed fans can rest assured that Lee Rosbach will be back in full form by the season finale.

Despite making a triumphant return, Captain Lee seems unable to come to terms with leaving in the first place. “That’s something I’ve never done in my life, I’ve never quit,” he told People. “I’ve never had to say I quit. And it was really, really hard to admit, especially to myself, that there’s something out there that kicked my ass. That was a hard pill to swallow,” Lee added.

Sympathetic reaction from his crew made the departure bittersweet. Chief stew Fraser Olender and chef Rachel Hargrove were in tears by the end of Captain Lee’s speech. “I was very touched by that. It was palpable. You could taste it,” he recalled. “It was in the air and it was just raw emotion on both sides of that fence. I was close to tears because it just means that much to me. And to be able to instill that in other people, that same sort of caring and see it take place, it’s like, ‘Yeah, I’ve done good.’ To have to walk away from that was just harsh.”

Captain Lee then provided insight into his recovery process. His regime included a massage therapist, clinician, and extensive physical therapy, sometimes up to six days a week. “If they were open, I was there,” Captain Lee told People.

The process worked, but not at the pace Captain Lee was hoping for. He said, “There were times when I would get discouraged. I’m like everybody else, I guess. We’re so used to instant gratification. We want to see progress immediately. And with nerve damage, it just doesn’t happen that way. So I’d get frustrated. Other people would see a difference in my progress but it wouldn’t seem like anything to me because I wanted to see leaps and bounds instead of baby steps. But we got there,” he added.

“Right now everything’s in a good place” and Captain Lee is feeling “great.” He quipped, “It was a bit of a rough patch there. I felt like Chester in Gunsmoke!”

Captain Lee credits wife Mary Anne Rosbach for her role in the recovery process. Ever present by his side, Mary Anne gave “tremendous support” to her loving husband.

Fans and followers flooded Captain Lee’s social media with words of support. “The outpouring of sympathy was just overwhelming. I thought I died!” he said.

“I don’t consider myself a celebrity or a reality TV star. I’m just a captain that does this job, happens to get filmed while I’m doing it,” Captain Lee concluded. “And then when something like that happens and you see the reaction to the fans, you realize the responsibility you have and how many people’s lives you actually touch in a great way. So it’s humbling to say the least.”

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Star Erika Jayne Says The Person Who Bought Her Auctioned Diamond Earrings Is “Obsessed”

We are getting close to a New Year and a fresh start. For some, this fresh start will include a prison sentence. One of the most maligned Real Housewives we have is under a mountain of legal issues, but will probably never see the inside of a jail cell.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne has had a rough couple of years. After allegedly lying, cheating clients out of money, and being a horrible con artist, Erika’s estranged husband Tom Girardi is now convalescing somewhere while people try to figure out how to pay back the people he screwed over. Erika hasn’t exactly been forthcoming about returning high-priced swag “gifted” to her with stolen funds. Or even acting like she gives a flying crap about anyone impacted by her husband’s crimes.

Recently, Erika had to let go of a pair of diamond earrings she famously flaunted during production of RHOBH Season 12. She could have graciously forfeited certain items, showing compassion and empathy, but that simply isn’t how EJ rolls. Ultimately the earrings were presented at auction, and to no one’s surprise, Erika’s biggest fan scooped them right up!

She stopped by the Two Ts in a Pod podcast to give her opinion on the transaction and heavy. has the details. The winning bidder of Erika’s earrings that were originally purchased with blood money was none other than attorney Ronald Richards’ wife. We’re all familiar with Housewives superfan Ron.  He’s been stalking researching Bravo wives since the Taylor Armstrong era. He REALLY became interested in Erika and Tom’s troubles, constantly keeping his social media followers informed of every update or change in the case.

We love a meticulous lawyer, but one has to wonder if ‘ol Ron has RHOBH playing on a continuous loop inside of his marital home. Allow me to present Exhibit A: Ron’s wife is the proud new owner of Erika’s much-discussed diamond earrings. Now this woman is posting pics of herself on Instagram gloating. Oh honey, no.

The studs were auctioned off and purchased “for $312,500, including costs” in December 2022. The baubles are currently in the ownership of Lauren Boyette-Richards, wife of Ronald Richards. Ron’s wife wrote in the photo caption that she understood “why [Erika] fought for these” and that the earrings are “stunning.”

Congrats doll on lowering yourself to the same level of the woman that you are obsessed with! EJ admitted during the podcast episode that the Instagram post did not surprise her. I’m no Erika fan but it might only be because Ron and his wife don’t leave a lot of room for others in the Erika Jayne Fan Club. What contentious attorney acts as “special counsel” for a case but posts like a scorned woman on social media?

Erika added, “It’s also frightening because it’s someone that leaked my address and has been ruthlessly doing everything that he can to basically push himself into my life and into everything that has fallen apart around this entire situation and the earrings, you know, are part of it.” Ronald’s special interest in Bravo personnel would actually concern me as a spouse at this point. The poor guy cannot get enough.

EJ also wondered why Ronnie’s wife wanted the earrings so badly. I mean, didn’t they also try to buy the Pasadena Palace? She said the couple views the jewelry as a “trophy” and thinks Ron and his wife are “obsessed.” Ron and his wife have definitely displayed stage 5 clinger vibes when it comes to Erika. Sorry not sorry. “If [Lauren] wanted a pair of diamonds — the world is littered with beautiful diamond earrings, believe me, but this was a personal thing,” Erika stated. “And they are obsessed, 1000 percent obsessed, and it’s weird.”

She’s right, it’s weird. Erika shared she hopes Ronnie’s wife wears the earrings “in good health.” Then she added, “Enjoy some other woman’s earrings.” Now who is gonna tell Erika they were never really her earrings because they were essentially stolen? Allegedly.

While Erika hasn’t really won anyone over after Season 12, you can’t deny this lawyer does seems to have a penchant for fangirling Real Housewives. Of course that’s just my opinion, thank goodness Ronald supports sharing them.

Taylor Armstrong Reveals What Made Her Want To Return To The Real Housewives Franchise

Fans fell in love with Taylor Armstrong during her time on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Then, she went through what most Housewives would’ve showcased across a decade–in just three seasons. During Season 1, Taylor was married to her then-husband, Russell Armstrong, and lived together with their daughter. Taylor not only showed fans the glitz and glamour of living in the 90210, but she also showed her passion for business and philanthropy.

Season 2 of RHOBH took a sudden turn when the series opened with the cast gathering at Adrienne Maloof’s home to discuss Russell dying by suicide. Much of Taylor’s Season 2 story line focused on her and her daughter dealing with this life-altering news. Season 3 of the show featured much of the same, and after that, we didn’t see much of Taylor on the Real Housewives.

But in the spirit of “never say never,” as all of our favorite Housewives like to say, Bravo is doing the unthinkable and featuring Taylor as our first-ever crossover Houswife. Yep, you heard the news back in the summer when it was officially announced that Taylor would be returning to the Housewives franchise as a friend of the cast of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

Taylor told Bravo,”After Season 3 and all that I was going through in my life, I decided I needed to take some time away from L.A. and all of the paparazzi. It was a little bit frightening for a while ‘cause I couldn’t go anywhere and I had my little girl and I wanted to take her away for a while and not have her exposed to people constantly yelling and asking me questions about what had happened,” she said, per heavy.

After chatting it up with some of her fans on Instagram, Taylor responded to a question that asked about her reality television return. “I returned to HW’s because I wanted the viewers to see that there is life after tragedy,” she wrote. “When I left #RHOBH, my life was in such a horrible place and I want others who are going through difficult times to know they have strength not only to make it through adversity but to use their strength to support others. My story felt unfinished.”

RHOBH is one of the legacy Housewives shows. They started filming and airing in 2009-2010, and the genre was still evolving then. At the time, ushering a Housewife off the series was kind of normal, especially if they weren’t the show’s biggest star. But now, with all the changes in streaming, reboots, and BravoCon– literally, anything is possible.

“When I was on #RHUGT, I had so much fun just being myself rather than worrying about my former home life stress,” Taylor shared. “And now, I am excited to share my new chapter on #RHOC.”

The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip allows Housewives fans to be in their own little world. Who would’ve ever thought we’d have an all-star cast version of the Real Housewives? Not me! But to see Taylor pop up along with some of our favorite reality tv legends was ICONIC. And thankfully, for us, it doesn’t stop there. RHOC should be returning very soon. Melissa Gorga Says “It Makes Zero Sense” That Teresa Giudice Never Watched Previous Episodes Of Real Housewives Of New Jersey

Now that the trailer for the Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 has dropped, fans have finally been able to see the long-awaited teaser of what led to the ULTIMATE downfall of Melissa Gorga, Joe Gorga, and Teresa Giudice. But before that, all three reality stars were out making their own comments about each other before fans even saw so much as a sneak peek.

We knew that Melissa and Joe skipped Teresa’s wedding in the summer. We know that Joe and Luis Ruelas apparently had a few “almost” physical altercations during filming. And we know that there’s a cheating rumor about Melissa that surfaces. During BravoCon 2022, the RHONJ panel had to be split into two different sessions because the drama was so intense they couldn’t even be in the same room.

Around that time, Teresa said she would NEVER reconcile with her brother and Melissa again. And truly, I’m starting to believe her. Back in November, she sat down with Carlos King on his podcast, Reality with The King, and she shared how “heart-wrenching” Joe and Mel’s behavior was and that she “never watched the show because I couldn’t stand watching.”

It’s no secret that Teresa never wanted her family on the Real Housewives of New Jersey in the first place. “DO NOT BRING UP MY FAMILY” is echoing through my head right now. And she always said it was because she didn’t want to fight with them. But Melissa isn’t buying anything Teresa is putting down.

On her own podcast, Melissa Gorga on Display, Melissa said that she “doesn’t believe Teresa never watched the show,” per heavy. If you’re an OG Housewives fan, then you’ll remember the blogs the cast members used to write after each episode. In fact, they even became a point of discussion during one RHONJ reunion… maybe Season 4?

Anyway, Melissa referenced these, and it makes sense. “We would have to recap the whole entire episode, word for word,” she said. “She [Giudice] recapped everything. I don’t know who was writing her blogs, then, if she never watched any of the episodes – it makes zero sense.” I remember the cast did question her on if she wrote her own blogs, mainly because she couldn’t spell the word “napalm.”

Melissa told Margaret Josephs, who appeared on her podcast as a guest, that she believes Teresa’s “digging” and “reaching for anything, because you have nothing to be mad at.”

“I would respect more saying, ‘Listen, I just don’t want you in my life. I don’t have to make up a thousand reasons as to why you’re a sh–y person, and why I don’t like you, and why I’m hurt,'” she continued. Melissa even added she’d like it if Teresa would “be real.”

“Why do we have to hurt each other and say bad things? That’s what I don’t get,” she said. Hmm, that’s my question too. I mean, it’s not like you came on RHONJ Season 3, and your husband started a massive brawl or called his only sister “scum.” Yeah, why do you have to say bad things?

Truly, I have no idea. But what I do know is that every Housewife fan will be watching this season very closely. Melissa, don’t let there be any inconsistencies because the way the Bravo fandom has been eating you and Joey up online is NOT pretty, and I can only imagine what it’ll be like once the show is airing. In the meantime, I’m preparing for RHONJ Season 13 by rewatching some of the earlier seasons to be refreshed on the Gorga/Guidice family feud.
