Kelly Dodd Is Officially Divorced From Michael Dodd
After two seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County talking about how her daughter’s life could be better if she got a divorce, Kelly Dodd is now officially single.
Kelly and Michael Dodd’s divorce has been processed and finalized. Now I just can’t wait for a whole season of single Kelly Dodd and single Shannon Beador going out on the town and turning up. This is exactly what the show needs.
On February 23, Kelly tweeted, “My divorce is final today!! Over the moon happy!” But that wasn’t exactly the case. Kelly’s attorney confirmed that the divorce was finalized to E! News. The court judgment was entered on February 23 and processed by March 7. Nevertheless, it seems like Kelly is so ready to be a free woman and now it’s legally official.
Now I’m just wondering if Michael will still still appear on Real Housewives of Orange County. He never seemed into being on the show, but Vicki Gunvalson and her man Steve Lodge did set him up with a new lady and Kelly is furious, so I have to assume that this will turn into a story line next season. Or at least I hope it does. We need all the excitement we can after that abysmally boring last season.

Shannon Beador Speaks Out About Divorce Proceedings Amid Rumors Of Hostile Behavior
Just like other reality TV divorces that came before theirs, Shannon Beador and David Beador’s split is not going as smoothly as either one of them would have hoped.
Between the “rumors” and the court documents, there is just so much information circulating about the divorce proceedings and child custody circumstances between the two of them.
People obtained court documents that said Shannon was award joint physical and legal custody of their three kids and $22,500 for child and spousal support. They arrived at this number after he was originally ordered to pay $30,000 a month, but Shannon and her lawyer asked for that lesser amount instead.
That is all factual and can be double checked by looking through the court documents, but then there’s the rumors about that day in court which cannot be concretely confirmed. According to an “inside source,” David was supposedly “shaking with anger” and he “spewed profanities at Shannon” in the hallway at the courthouse. He also allegedly claimed that the monthly payments would bankrupt his company.
The rumors get even worse though . Supposedly, David shut off the water at the home Shannon shares with their three daughters, which is hopefully not true. People noted that David had no comment about those allegations. I figured he would at least deny them, but what do I know about going through a public divorce with a reality TV star?
Even though David didn’t have anything to say, Shannon did tell People, “As David and I continue our divorce proceedings, I’m doing everything I can to move things efficiently along so that our three children are not subjected to unnecessary stress during an already difficult time.” She also said, “I want to be as fair as possible. I remain focused on a clean resolution and have no interest in engaging in a war of words.”

Exclusive – Survivor’s Stephanie Johnson: ‘I Feel Like Ghost Island Let Me Down’
Stephanie Johnson was doomed from the moment that I picked her to win the game after the premiere episode of Survivor: Ghost Island. She may have come across as more than just a bit eccentric in her pre-season interviews, but once on the beach, she looked to be one of the most dangerous players this season. Of course, it takes more than a good strategy and social skills in the game of Survivor. Stephanie didn’t have much luck out there, and on this week’s episode her luck finally ran out.

Yes Stephanie quickly became “one to watch” for me when she was shown easily manipulating Jacob to get what she wanted during the first few days in the game. But after looking like an early favorite, Stephanie found herself in the minority after the first tribe swap of the game. When Michael shared the fact that he had an Idol last week, Stephanie had a ray of hope: If Michael were to play the Idol correctly, it would swing the game in her favor. But even though Michael chose to play the Idol on Stephanie, she wasn’t the majority’s target, so her alliance lost a number and their only Idol. That left Stephanie in a very vulnerable position heading into this week.
But even after losing yet another Reward challenge, not all was lost for Stephanie. She drew the white rock that sent her to Ghost Island, but her hopes were quickly dashed when she was not given the opportunity to get a secret advantage there. She had some touching moments, sharing on national TV her struggle as a single mom, and how she had left the Mormon faith and had gotten a divorce within six months of each other. She was also a super-fan and we could see the love for the game on her face throughout this week’s emotionally-rich episode. But in the end, she was just the biggest threat left for the majority to target, and with even her allies looking to do anything to secure their spots in the game, Stephanie was voted out unanimously, becoming the fifth person voted out of Survivor: Ghost Island.
I had the chance to speak to Stephanie today on the FilmSurvivor Podcast (the full audio of which you can find and download at the bottom of this article). But here were some highlights from the interview:
STEPHANIE JOHNSON INTERVIEW
On what the experience was like re-watching all of the emotion and drama from home:
Stephanie Johnson: It was extremely difficult to re-watch. It was an emotional episode overall, but I was watching it with my boys and they didn’t know the outcome until last night…it was just a very heavy, emotional night at my house watching. There were a lot of tears and anger and I kind of feel like I was even in shock watching it, I feel like I have to go back and re-watch so I can actually see it again without the shock value of knowing I’m going to be voted out.
Her thoughts on her experience on Ghost Island and the Ghost Island twist as a whole:
Stephanie: Well I can say that I don’t like that I didn’t get to play the game, because I didn’t get to play the game (laughs). But I think for me, the hardest part about that was the two votes when I needed it the most, the person going to Ghost Island was no longer in use. That was just another random, bad luck of fate. Like if Kellyn hadn’t been [at Tribal and had she remained on Ghost Island], it would have been 4-4, and it could have a completely different game. And then if I would have been Immune [by being at Ghost Island], then I obviously would still be in the game. So for me that was the biggest disappointment from Ghost Island, is that when I needed it the most, I feel like Ghost Island let me down.
On who the biggest threat is from the alliance of five:
Stephanie: Bradley and Kellyn are definitely a power couple. And I called them out at Brendan’s Tribal Council, I must have said that 15 times. I knew it the minute they stepped on the beach, I have a pretty good read on people, and I could tell that they’d be running the show. They have their three minions who will do whatever they want because they’re not really there to strategize, but Kellyn and Bradley are smart. They definitely were in it together.

Luann de Lesseps Is Giving Away VIP Tickets To Her Cabaret Show To Fans Who Can Rap Her Song “Money Can’t Buy You Class”
I have no shame. I tried to get ticket’s to Luann de Lesseps‘ #CountessAndFriendsCabaret show – twice. Instead, I had to get the most extreme FOMO watching her sing and dance while Sonja Morgan’s dress fell off in Instagram video after Instagram video.
I was there right on the dot at 12PM ready to get tickets to the new wave of shows in May and it turns out that they were sold out before I even had a chance to get them thanks to the presale purchases. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who was (extremely) disappointed when those tickets were sold out before having a chance to buy them, but there is hope for all of Luann’s fans to catch her shows in May.
Luann uploaded a video to Instagram where she revealed, “I’ve got some news for you. If you missed by cabaret show last week in New York, you’re in for a treat. Not only did we add five more show dates, we are also giving VIP tickets away.”
Tell me more, Countess. Tell me, more.
Luann shared, “All you have to do is upload your video version of ‘Money Can’t Buy You Class,’ but I want you to rap it. So upload it to your Instagram and hash tag ‘Countess and Friends,’ and by May 1st, I’ll pick the funniest, most creative video, and I will see you at my cabaret show because life is a cabaret. C’est bon. C’est bon.”
And that’s where I’m out. There’s no way that I could rap well enough to catch Luann’s attention and secure those VIP tickets.

Thanks to Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes‘ drama, it’s easy to forget that there are actually other people on Real Housewives of Atlanta. There are six full-time cast members and a plethora of side players, but when NeNe and Kim are going at it, there’s just nothing else worth paying attention to.

Cynthia discussed the last RHOA episode in her Bravo blog post. She addressed that kiss with Will after she picked him up at the airport: “OMG! I had no idea that it was awkward until I watched it! Things were still a bit strained between us after Kandi’s [Burruss] Essence party.”
And then Cynthia got to the main story line: Kim and NeNe’s feud. Cynthia didn’t have much to say, which is not surprising since she’s tight with NeNe, who is not exactly innocent, so it’s probably for the best for her to make a short and vague comment so she can avoid NeNe’s wrath. Cynthia wrote, “There is always drama within our circle, however the drama between NeNe and Kim has become a runaway train. It just never seems like it is going to stop.” And I’m all for it. I would never wish stress on another human being, but they are both benefiting from this story line and so am I, so keep on shading each other, ladies.
One bit of drama, that I cannot support are NeNe’s rape comments that she made during her comedy show. There was nothing at-all acceptable about that. NeNe’s right-hand girl, wrote, “My heart went out to NeNe. She got caught up in a moment with a heckler and responded without thinking. She went too far. I have never seen her so upset. I felt helpless.” If only there was a way to prevent getting upset… Oh right, she could have just not made a joke about rape in a very public forum.

Faith Stowers Will Appear In A New Reality Show On MTV
After Jax Taylor admitted to girlfriend Brittany Cartwright that he cheated on her with Faith Stowers, Faith just disappeared from this season of Vanderpump Rules. I thought she was in some sort of reality television witness protection program after every member of the cast turned against her. She became the talk of the season, something she’s clearly wanted for a long time, and now she’s gone? That was just so unexpected, almost more so than her having sex with Jax.
Now Faith is taking her talents to another network for another reality TV show.
Faith shared a promotional photo from the new MTV show Ex On The Beach in an Instagram post with the caption “New show alert!! Check out MY NEW SHOW @mtv ExonthBeach the FIRST USA SEASON!!! A vacation in paradise with other singles? YES PLEASE! A vacation in paradise with my EX?? HELL NO! @exonthebeachus @exonthebeachpremieres April 19th at 9/8c on @MTV. Trailer in bio!!!!” She also shared the trailer with the caption “This trailer thoooo” with a bunch of emojis.
Back in December, Faith tweeted, “On to the next network … can’t wait for you all to see it!” Truthfully, it seemed like she was just talking a big game, but I guess she really did have something in the works. This show sounds like a mess and half and it could only be better if Jax or Max Todd showed up as Faith’s featured “ex.”
