Almost everything Kenya Moore says and does is criticized. This is expected since she has been a polarizing character ever since her first episode on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Aside from people hating on Kenya, a lot of viewers (and some of her costars) have questioned her authenticity and accused her of faking story lines for the show. Over and over again.
During the last episode, Kenya brought her cousin in to take a phone call about her pregnancy test which ended up being inconclusive. Maybe it was just some spotty editing, but haters came for Kenya for creating a false story line after she shared that moment on television.
Kenya opened up about the episode in a Bravo blog post. Kenya shared, “That visit with the doctor happened this past summer just weeks after we got married, and I was very excited and optimistic about the possibilities. Marc [Daly] and I had only been married a short time, so we were hopeful.”
And then she came for her haters: “With that said, it’s not easy to go through something so personal when the whole world is watching. Since the episode aired on Sunday, there has been a lot of support, but there have also been a lot of wild accusations and flat out lies on blogs as a result of me sharing such a private moment. This is the very reason it’s difficult to show something so intensely private with the world. You leave yourself open to constant character assassination, mindless chatter, and ruthless people intent on destroying you. What is for me is for me. I’ve been blessed and will continue to live my best life.”
Another interesting part of the episode was Cynthia Bailey’s lunch with her ex-husband Peter Thomas. Kenya was asked if she thought Cynthia still has feelings for Peter and Kenya didn’t exactly answer the question, but she did share, “I think Cynthia is a lover, not a fighter. She wants peace. Peter and Cynthia were together for a long time and had a lot of great memories together, so I think she will always care.”
There has been some gossip for a long time about Kenya missing the cast trip to Barcelona. There have been plenty of stories swirling around, from her being fired to paying $25,000 an episode for missing the trip. Did Kenya refuse to go on the trip or did production prevent her from going? We will probably not get a straight answer on that one, but Kenya says, “I was going through a tough time, but I’m figuring things out as I go. The beautiful thing is we went to Egypt for my birthday — I’d say that trumps Barcelona any day!”

It’s been just about a week since Celebrity Big Brother kicked off, and it’s been action from the start. We’ve already had two houseguests evicted: Chuck Liddell and Keshia Knight Pulliam. And the evictions will keep on coming as we approach the Big Brother: Celebrity Edition finale on February 25th.
Before we get too far ahead, let’s assess where the player are at now, and who holds the most and least power with the first Celebrity Big Brother Power Rankings.
9. Shannon Elizabeth
Shannon Elizabeth has defintiely fallen from grace. I think it starts and ends with her risking it all to save James Maslow, who truly wasn’t worth it. I’m not sure why Chuck, Keshia and Omarosa were so threatening to Shannon, but it really put her in a bad spot. While she did get her allies to turn, Shannon also planted lots of seeds of doubt within that group while making it happen.
She started off playing very hard and showed what a force she is in the Celebrity Big Brother game. And while Shannon has taken a step back, they all know what she’s capable of. I think James’ attitude could have been enough to save her, if he didn’t already win the Power of Veto. Her chances of survival are near zero next to Mark McGrath.
8. James Maslow
James is lucky to still be around, almost entirely due to Shannon. Still, he really is just a pawn in other people’s Celebrity Big Brother games. Sure, maybe James can win a competition or two but really he’s just going to be doing other people’s bidding.
James is too eager to trust people and be a part of a group when nobody actually really wants to work with him. Regardless of when James leaves (Monday or finale), I don’t think anyone respects him as a gameplayer, because he has really not been able to influence anyone, or even make any decisions that have had an impact.
7. Metta World Peace
Oh, Metta World Peace. He has wanted out of the Big Brother house from the start, and he’s mostly just been kept around because of that lack of drive to win the game. The other houseguests know that he isn’t interested in the game.
Therefore, Metta is easy to take out at any time. Plus, everyone likes him. I think if he did happen to get any power, things could be really fun: since he doesn’t really seem to care about the consequences. But Metta has no control in this game; he also hasn’t built any real solid allies. Maybe as it gets closer to the end, we might see him make some maneuvers, but I’m not counting on him to do much more than snuggling with Orwell, and saying some crazy things every now and then.
6. Mark McGrath
Mark is probably the lowest key player in there, and it’s not hurting him one bit. Mark has some friends and allies in Ross Mathews and James, but they aren’t going to protect him in the long run. I think it’s very possible that Mark might slips through the cracks towards the end. However, he has been coasting, and nobody really respects that game play.
That said, Mark is well liked: Anyone could win this game with the way the jury will work. I wouldn’t be excited if Mark did win, since he’s done pretty much nothing, but it could happen if he’s up against someone objectionable. That said, Mark probably will get caught in the crosshairs somewhere along the way. He could be a victim of circumstance.
5. Omarosa
Omarosa has got good days and bad days, as she would have it. Some days Omarosa is making nice with everyone, and then they find themselves surprised to be enjoying her company. Other days, Omarosa will really stir the pot and paint a target on herself. Sort of like Metta and Mark, she’s disposable to the power players, but a little bit of ingratiating herself with Ariadna Gutierrez and Brandi Glanville can do her wonders.
I do think Omarosa is more strategic then people believe, like with making up with Shannon in case she survives this week’s eviction. I think people are expecting big things from Omarosa, and she has not dissapointed so far, and will continue to deliver in one way or another. It is somewhat difficult to see her winning this game, but she’s already got votes from Chuck and Keshia if she makes it to the end of the game.
4. Ross Mathews
Ross was in a great spot prior to winning Head of Household. But then he royally messed up by not taking an easy path, while considering backdooring Shannon. Worst of all, he didn’t follow through and everyone knew about it. Ross’s wishy-washyness all week, and the fact that a lot of them see what he’s doing with all the alliances, and relationships in the house doesn’t bode well.
For now I think Ross will be okay, but it only takes a few conversations to turn things, as we’ve seen. With this game at the fast pace level, he could be in trouble sooner than later. We’ve already seen Ariadna and Brandi express doubts about Ross, and it’s still sort of early in this shortened season. The good thing is that Ross is sort of protected because of his good social game, but it can always come crashing down.
3. Marissa Jaret Winokur
Despite the fact that Marissa constantly talking, she’s done a good job of keeping her mouth shut when it comes to game. Marissa really has not said or done anything too incriminating, and she’s in the thick of all of the strategic conversations. I think she could get into trouble down the line, especially if she has to win a more physical competition for her safety.
However, it will be awhile before Marissa is really at risk. She’s probably making a mistake sticking with Ross, who would likely beat her in the end, but it’s still early and there’s still time to split off from him. I think Marissa is pretty aware of what’s going on, and savvier than she wants her housemates to believe. Marissa is the one to watch at the moment.
2. Ariadna Gutierrez
Ariadna and Brandi are clearly the ones running the show. At first it was subtle and hard to really pin down, but they were the ones pushing to backdoor Shannon last week. They pushed their agenda by convincing people that it was the best move for everyone. And Ross almost made a pretty costly mistake because of the persuasion or Ari and Brandi.
I think Ari is positioned to go deeper but she has less power than Brandi. People don’t listen to her as much, but maybe they should as she’s got wisdom beyond her years. Despite being Head of Household, I think people would assume Ari is doing other people’s bidding instead of her own, but they’re underestimating her. She’s sharp and really could finally get her crown if Ari plays her cards right. Really it would come down to how much everyone sees her game, and Ari faces in the final two.
1. Brandi Glanville
It’s been fun watching Brandi and Ari run the ship. They have different styles but are a good fit for one another. They both come up with the plans and Brandi sort of makes them happen. She’s been very persuasive and cautiously aggressive with pushing what she wants, but also letting others push their agenda and backing off when necessary, or waiting for the right moment to strike.
I think people have a perception of her where they might not expect her to be strategically savvy, but Brandi has proven everyone wrong. It is sort of controlling the game without looking like it. And best of all, Brandi has got people like Ross, Shannon, and Omarosa as big shiny targets in front of her. If she can maintain a relatively low profile, Brandi can easily make it to the end. Then if she manages to show everyone what she’s been able to pull off, Brandi absolutely could and should win Celebrity Big Brother.

Most of the people who tuned into the last episode of Vanderpump Rules got some secondhand embarrassment for Stassi Schroeder thanks to her now-ex-boyfriend Patrick Meagher. She admitted that he blocked her on everything so she would not “bother” him during his trip to Amsterdam. Who blocks his girlfriend to enjoy a vacation? The strong personality that we saw for years on this show was getting pushed around by this douche bag with a straggly man bun and it made me uncomfortable. Where was the Stassi that we have watched for years?!
Even worse, Patrick said he didn’t care if she had sex with other guys as long as she didn’t have an emotional connection with them – at her birthday party, surrounded by her close friends and family. Who does that!? Love Stassi or not, it was hard to watch and not be infuriated on her behalf. Thankfully, Stassi was on Watch What Happens Live the same night that Vanderpump Rules episode aired and confirmed that she has a new man in her life.
Even though Stassi confirmed that Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute set her up with a new man, she still wouldn’t tell Andy Cohen who she was dating. During a Facebook Live interview with Maxim, Stassi was asked plenty of relationship questions. She admitted, “I’m just not ready yet” instead of sharing any of the details.
She also said, “Trust me, I want to shout it from the rooftops. I would love to, but I don’t want to put the pressure on it just yet.”
That is completely understandable, considering that her last relationship is still playing out on Vanderpump Rules and her other famous ex is Jax Taylor. I don’t blame her for moving slowly when it comes to displaying this relationship to the public. Even so she did reveal at least one piece of information: “I could give some initials: BC.”
According to an article from Us Weekly, Stassi’s new man is Beau Clark, which does line up with the BC initials that she mentioned during the Maxim interview. Us Weekly doesn’t quote her admitting that exactly, but she did hint, “Yes, I have a new Beau.” I see what you did there, girl. Very clever.
On Valentine’s Day, Stassi shared a photo on her Instagram story with the words “How we do Vday. #roleplay.” She didn’t tag anyone in the photo, but it does look an awful lot like this guy, who she is following on Instagram, whose name is listed as Beau – with no last name mentioned- although it is very likely that it’s this same person.
During her Maxim interview, Stassi was asked if her father “approves of BC,” Stassi shared, “They have not met yet.” Stassi is all about “bleeding out for the show,” so it’s safe to assume that she will share more details as time goes on when it comes to her new relationship. In the meantime, she also dished on her most infamous ex: Jax.
Stassi revealed, “Jax and I have gotten to a place where we are absolutely fine.” And even though they are “absolutely fine,” she still had some unflattering sentiments to share. Stassi said, “I’m pretty sure that Jax is the actual villain of our show. Jax does deplorable, awful things, but I love Brittany [Cartwright].”
She added, “I appreciate Jax for the good that I find in him. He’s fun to be around. There is a little shred of kindness in there, somewhere, deep in there. I try to just focus on that, but yeah, we’re fine. We all have to hang out together. We’re all in the same group, so it’s so much easier to get along.” Don’t get along too well, that would make for a pretty boring show.

There is only one Bethenny Frankel in the Real Housewives franchise. Even though almost every Real Housewife does the most to monitize her status as a reality TV star, more often than not, these business ventures are actually pretty cheesy. Some women endorse hair growth vitamins while they’re obviously wearing extensions, others have no shame pushing laxative teas, others are proud to rock blinged out running sneakers. These ladies are hustlers, that’s for sure.
In Dolores Catania’s case, describing her next business move as “cheesy” is actually appropriate and not-at-all insulting. This is because the Real Housewives of New Jersey star actually has her very own line of cheese for the Real Housewives fans (and whoever else) to enjoy.
Dolores shared the news on her Instagram page just before Valentine’s Day: “I have some exciting news for you guys tonight! On Tuesday, the Celebrity Big Brother house was full of tension because of Ariadna Gutierrez’s decision to nominate Shannon Elizabeth and James Maslow. It lead to many little tifs here and there. As Wednesday approached, the Celebrity Big Brother cast knew they needed to calm a bit to get through the next few days leading up to eviction. Wednesday night brought the third Big Brother: Celebrity Edition Power of Veto competition.
Prior to it, James and Shannon were doing whatever it took to get themselves off the block. Shannon’s fighting spirit was starting to reemerge, and James refused to give up in the Celebrity Big Brother game.
James and Omarosa got into a little argument over what was said between them during a private conversation that became public. This then lead to Brandi Glanville and Omarosa arguing for a bit. Despite the Celebrity Big Brother houseguests becoming mad at Omarosa again, Shannon and her actually made up.
Omarosa encouraged Shannon to fight hard for the POV, but she told the other houseguests something completely different about their conversation. We’ll never know what’s truly real with Omarosa. Meanwhile, Ari, Brandi, Ross Mathews, and Marissa Jaret Winokur started to becoming flip-floppy with their target.
The Ari and Brandi side of the alliance was starting to want James out the house before Shannon. Ross was adamant about getting Shannon out, like they originally planned. At one point in the day, James formed a new final five alliance with Brandi, Ari, Marissa, and Ross.
We’re unsure if this is a real thing, but doubt it. James is too strong of a player, and the houseguests will definitely take him out once they get the chance. The night ended with a reveal that James won the Power of Veto.
He’ll obviously use it to save himself. This could mean the end of Shannon’s game, or the replacement nominee could become the new target. Big Brother did do something nice for the houseguests by treating them to a special Valentine’s Day inspired half-way take-out dinner and party.

After an emotional and dramatic plea to her fellow houseguests, Celebrity Big Brother cast member Keshia Knight Pulliam was unamiously evicted from the game so that she could breastfeed her daughter. Not all of her fellow houseguests were pleased with wasting an eviction vote on Keshia, especially when the majority alliance had the opportunity to backdoor one of the strongest players in the game, Shannon Elizabeth. Brandi Glanville was the most upset by the situation and didn’t hold back from sharing her thoughts with the Big Brother house. How will this move effect the game, and who will the new Head of Household (HOH) nominate for eviction?
The HOH competition was titled Get Your Putt In Gear, and Ross Mathews was the host. Each houseguest competed, one at a time, aboard the Big Brother Celebrity Voyages Cruiseship on a mini-golf course comprised of three tee-boxes. The houseguest to sink all three holes-in-one shots in order and with the fastest time is to be crowned the new HOH. However, “super fans” make the shots more difficult by blowing air onto the course while the celebrities try to nail their hole-in-one shot as quickly as possible.
Most of the houseguests hope that anyone but Shannon wins this HOH so she can be the target for eviction. After an exhilarating and very competitive match between the Celebrity Big Brother houseguests, Ariadna Gutiérrez won HOH by a time of 2:19.08. James Maslow came in second place with a time of 2:19.09. Yes, he lost by one hundredth of a second.
Surprisingly, Shannon was very excited when Ari is crowned HOH as she believes Ari will go after Omarosa for eviction. James is under the same impression, that the majority of the house was still setting their sites on Omarosa for eviction. Neither of them have any idea that Shannon has been the backdoor target for eviction and remains the target in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Ari’s alliance with Ross, Brandi , and Marissa Jaret Winokur discussed their options for the nominations ceremony. Ari definitely wants to evict Shannon over anyone else, including James, during her reign as HOH. They need to decide if they will backdoor Shannon by nominating Omarosa and a pawn to the block, or will they go big and nominate James and Shannon to the block for nomination right off the bat? All of them agree that Shannon is a power player and has played the game way too hard.
Before the nomination ceremony can get underway, Shannon started to perceive that she was the target for eviction. She shared the info with James and broke down in tears about always being the target. James tried to talk to off the ledge and told her snap out of it and play the Big Brother game.
Shannon showed up to the nomination ceremony with sunglasses on, surely hiding her swollen eyes from crying. She and Brandi had a brief confrontation about who had who’s back in the game. Omarosa jumped in on the conversation only to be shut down quickly. In the end, Ari nominated James and Shannon to the block for eviction as being the biggest competitors in the game.
