How Tom Sandoval Is Showing His Emotional Side on Vanderpump Rules

Tom Sandoval has had a no-good, terrible, very bad year thanks to his part in Scandoval, and he is currently spiraling. Vanderpump Rules viewers and his friends learned in March 2023 that the affair between him and Rachel Leviss began back in August 2022 and lasted for seven months. Apparently, the two were once madly in love, but something changed. Quickly, the rest of the cast unfollowed the duo, and everyone rallied around Ariana Madix.

Over the last few months, Sandy has been on his redemption tour. But he has yet to take full accountability for his part in the cheating scandal. Admittedly, Tom is stuck in a weird middle ground between acting like a victim and a villain. Most viewers probably see him as the bad guy, but people cheat. So watching Tom break down due to all the hate is kind of hard to watch. But is showing his emotional side a planned attack or a dam of feelings bursting open?

Lost love

Okay, so I will say it is hard to believe that Tom is sad, especially when I see cover stories or photo shoots where he is cashing in on his pain. But the last few episodes of Vanderpump Rules have me feeling some way about the TomTom owner. I think it’s empathy. After listening to Rachel’s podcast, Tom shared he was “shell shocked” that their love meant nothing to her. This is the first time I truly see Tom realizing he made a bad choice when he cheated.

Crying to Tom Schwartz, Sandy blubbers, “I wasn’t fully ready to give up hope until I heard it from her lips, and now I have. To go through all that and not even give it a shot? Like, what was it all for?” Sandoval seemed all too happy to partake in some word type of self-flagellation when noting he would listen to the podcast in its entirety even though he was suffering.

Tom has an epiphany

In a stunning moment of realization, Tom notes, “I’m realizing now that I cared for her way more than she f*cking cared for me.” Again, I felt a bit bad for Tom. We have all been through some crush or relationship when we felt more feelings than the other. Oftentimes, we put in ten percent more effort, buy silly little gifts, or send a cute yet planned text. So to be told that all of it was in vain does suck. I wonder if Tom hadn’t had a chance to cry until now.

He could have been in fight or flight for months as he tried to navigate his life. He would have had to deal with the shared house, band touring schedule, bar pop-in, and filming. I imagine that he was probably overstimulated and didn’t have a chance to process the fact that Rachel was pulling away. Tom also laments in the newest Vanderpump Rules episode that he didn’t get any closure, but in retrospect, being cut off is a form of ultimate closure.

But is anybody buying it?

I don’t think many fans are buying his crying act. Over and over, Tom has stated that he fought hard for his relationship with Rachel. During an earlier episode, he revealed he gave up cigarettes and alcohol for her because he couldn’t partake in rehab. Multiple times, Tom has also said some pretty odd sentiments, noting that their love wasn’t just about looks because he had been a model for 15 years. What does that have to do with the price of milk, Tom?

I think Tom is putting on a show for us more often than not. He knows how to work the camera, as we saw him hysterically cry during Season 10 while at Lisa Vanderpump’s home. It might be that Tom is a bit too vapid to digest all of his emotions. However, Rachel’s podcast threw the man for a loop. But I am sure fans will see the floodgates open even further as the season continues.

The Circle Season 6, Episodes 1-4 Recap: Biggest and Best Moments

The Circle Season 6 is back, and crazier than ever! Season 6 features several firsts for the series, as it is the first time the show is being filmed in the United States. After five seasons in the United Kingdom, Season 6 decided to move locations to Atlanta, Georgia.

Season 6 kicked off with a diverse cast of contestants, who already have us laughing. The first contestant to arrive was Kyle Fuller, who brought his adorable French Bulldog Deuce along for the ride. Lauren Shira and Myles Reed joined soon after, with all three players entering The Circle as themselves. Cassie Saylor and Steffi Hill are also playing as themselves in the game, despite some of their fellow contestants’ doubts.

In terms of the Catfish crew, Brandon Baker decided to play the game as Olivia. He was joined by Lady Caress, who thought she would succeed in The Circle by playing as her younger brother Paul. Later on in the game, Quori Tyler entered The Circle as herself. The real shock, however, was the reveal of Max, who is the series first AI contestant. Episodes one through four featured a ton of crazy moments, but these were the best!

The revelation of Max the AI bot

The most shocking moment from the first batch of episodes was by far the reveal of Max, The Circle’s first-ever AI contestant. After Lauren was chosen as an influencer, she got to pick one more player to bring into The Circle. Lauren ultimately chose Max, as she was won over by his profile picture of him and his dog. What Lauren did not know, however, was that Max was not really a person.

It’s pretty crazy what AI is capable of, which Max has demonstrated over the last few episodes. Max engaged in conversations with several of the other players and did a great job of hiding the fact that he wasn’t real. Through his AI capabilities, Max found ways to pretend like he is a human and mask his identity when talking to fellow contestants.

While the rest of the contestants don’t know that Max is the AI player, they do know that one of the players is an AI bot. Episode 4 left on a cliffhanger. The players tried to figure out who was the most human of the group. More on this in a second!

Lauren & “Olivia” were chosen as the first pair of influencers

Another big moment from the first few episodes was the announcement of the season’s first influencers. The influencers are key on The Circle, as they have a lot of power to dictate what happens in the game. There are many powers given to the influencers, such as choosing who to block from or bring into the game.

Lauren and Brandon aka Olivia were chosen as the first pair of influencers, after they received first and second in the rankings. This made a lot of sense, as both Lauren and Olivia made good connections with their fellow players right off the bat. Lauren and Olivia both had the opportunity to choose another player to join the game, which is pretty huge. Of course, Lauren chose Max the AI, while Olivia decided to bring in Quori.

Myles being designated as the “most human” player

Finally, Myles being chosen as the “most human” player was definitely a turning point in the game. After it was revealed that one of the players was an AI bot, the contestants ranked one another in order of who they thought was the most human. Myles ended up ranking first, which gave him the power to block the player he felt was the AI bot. Of course, Episode 4 left on a huge cliffhanger, as Myles went to block the contestant he felt unsure about.

It wasn’t much of a surprise that Myles was chosen as the most human, as he is pretty personable. Myles has made good connections with several players and is an all-around likable guy. It will be interesting to see who Myles chooses to block, as he seemed to be the only player who was suspicious of Max. Will Myles’ AI engineering skills help him out here? Or will he accidentally send home one of his fellow human contestants?

Be sure to watch The Circle on Netflix.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 Trailer Reveals New Crew and Shock Return

The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 trailer has dropped, and Captain Sandy Yawn and Aesha Scott are both returning.

Below Deck Med viewers will likely recall that Season 8 was something of a disaster. Many of those who tuned in till the end were only doing so because they felt they had to. The Season 8 drama was more frustrating than it was entertaining.

So, it didn’t come as a huge shock when the Season 9 trailer featured a major shake-up in the cast. Aesha’s return was unexpected all on its own. But there will be plenty of new faces to add to the surprise factor.

The new Below Deck Med cast is DTF

The trailer opened with a voiceover from Aesha as she walked up to the boat. “I have so many butterflies,” she said. “The Med is where it all started for me. And I’m just so excited to prove myself.” She then apologized to the camera crew for farting.

From there, Aesha gushed about her “homecoming” with Captain Sandy. After a short montage of plates breaking, viewers discovered the crew would be in Athens, Greece this time around. Naturally, we also saw plenty of eccentric guests, shenanigans between crew members, and potential romance.

And speaking of romance, whew boy. One new crewmate, Joe, seemed to be at the center of the drama, catching the attention of more than one fellow crew member. With all the drama, Aesha was heard saying it was “the hardest management situation I’ve ever been in.”

In more positive news, fans saw a brief shot of Captain Sandy proposing to her girlfriend. But from there, the drama snapped right back into place, with cast members telling each other off. Captain Sandy warned that two crewmates could both be fired. The trailer closed out on a clip of the boat unexpectedly losing its anchor.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 premieres June 3 at 8/7c on Bravo.

The Valley Episode 6 Recap: Congrats on Your Hair Loss

The Valley Episode 6 recap

Welcome back for our The Valley Episode 6 recap, “Congrats on Your Hair Loss.” In last week’s episode, Kristen acted like a mob boss, declaring she would always protect Michelle’s secrets. Now, was this a threat? Absolutely. Michelle was left shaken but still firm in her belief that she would most likely be divorcing her husband, Jesse.

Jax is Jax

The latest episode starts a little slower, with Kristen and Luke discussing their baby-making skills. Evidently, practice makes perfect. Also, Luke has been taking Kristen’s prenatal vitamins. Um ew? My heart breaks for Kristen, who worries about seeing a “permanent negative pregnancy test forever.” But I do like how they are willing to see a premarital counselor. But these two are undoubtedly made for one another. Crazy is as crazy does.

Thankfully, Jax knows how to break the ice and brings the humor to Episode 6. In a very relatable moment, the OG struggled to determine if he had WhatsApp to speak with Jason. While sitting on his child’s swing set, he gets annoyed with the echo on the phone. In a Mr. Magoo moment, he wondered if the issue was because Jason had an Android. Jax notes, “My two-year-old son is better at this than I am. Sorry, I’m new to this.” Jax, technology doesn’t work like that. And thus ended the funniest part of the episode.

Jax’s Studio

Jax and Brittany drive down to their unopened bar in their golf cart. Surely, there are vehicle laws in Los Angeles that prohibit this because nothing about it looked safe. Jax mentions that he is haunted by how badly Schwartz & Sandy’s launch went and decides he is a soft opening for football season. Brittany isn’t thrilled but is once again gaslit.

We see a side to Jax that could be genuine or a well-played-out cry. Brittany has baby fever and wants a second child. But Jax is overwhelmed and ready to check out of being an adult. Hell he is one step away from putting in his two-week notice on adulting all together.

As Brittany walks around the location, Jax notes, “It’s so hard to be married sometimes.” Sir, don’t do that. Brittany is a saint for putting up with your BS. Jax says he “doesn’t know how to manage it all. Raising a child, starting a business, raising a family.” Brittany begs for a romantic partner, but Jax can’t commit, telling the cameras, “It’s a struggle.”

Psychedelic trip

The Valley Episode 6

Jesse thinks the answer to his marriage issues is taking crazy mushrooms and ayahuasca. While Danny was trying to push therapy for the alpha male syndrome, the Boston native thought that plant-based alternative thinking was his best shot at luring Michelle back in. Danny said that we all were thinking, that the therapy was “ridiculous.” And what about “more actual couples therapy? Might not be a bad idea.”

Jesse, who, mind you, I am rooting for, states, “ I want to step outside of myself to see my ego on the inside.” Excuse me, what? But Jesse is aware he uses his aggression to shut the whole table up, which we see come back into play at the end of the episode.

Hairless, not balding party

The Valley Episode 6 recap

Let me say that Jax is not going bald. The man has a cowlick that he should probably comb better. In a harrowing story, Jax regales the partygoers about how he felt he was forming a bald spot, so he spray-painted his scalp with black hairspray. Here is a PSA: kids do not do this at home. A special thanks to production, who placed an arrow on the offending bald spot for all to see.

Jax knows how to get his money. If he has to say he is losing his hair to make a bit of money, Jax will do it. Jax is no longer using black spray paint and barely remembers the name of the product he is pushing, which is Xyon. Don’t ask him what it stands for because he doesn’t know.

Kristen goes rogue

The Valley Episode 6

The party moves into the night at the Mondrian (the birthplace of Scandoval), and nothing good can come from this. Jesse is having a rough day. He is caught chatting with the Burning Man pop-up vendor, much to Michelle’s chagrin. The gang moves into dinner, and all hell breaks loose. Everyone keeps poking Jesse for being too quiet until he shares that his trip session made him realize his marriage was over. It’s a no-win for Jesse, who is damned if he talks and damned if he doesn’t.

Jesse once again bangs the table, and Kristen is triggered. What proceeds is a hot mic moment between Kristen and producers. Kristen says she won’t be around Jesse, who is “a really horrific human.” Kristen is playing with fire as she continues to state that she is still in the vault for the Lally family secrets. Jesse literally appears out of nowhere to say, “If you bring out any skeletons that I don’t know about my wife, I will bury you.”

The last five minutes of the episode are a blur as viewers see most of the cast congregate in the hallway. Cameras catch Luke and Jesse starting to tussle as Zack is physically pushed into the wall. Brittany’s physical prowess seemed to be the only thing standing between the two men. Good for you, B!

The Valley continues Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
