Lydia McLaughlin Doesn’t Understand Shannon Beador; Would Never Put Heather Dubrow On A Magazine Cover

WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE WITH ANDY COHEN -- Episode 14152 -- Pictured: Lydia McLaughlin -- (Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo)

Lydia McLaughlin

Knowing that Lydia McLaughlin was going to be one of the guests on Watch What Happens Live, I was expecting a soft interview with lots of shameless plugs for her magazine. Surprisingly enough, only the latter was true. Fans who called in and tweeted questions for the Real Housewives of Orange County star really went in with the questions.

Lydia was almost as flustered as Shannon Beador was at Ava’s birthday party when Lydia kept mentioning Vicki Gunvalson. Lydia was almost as thrown off as Shannon and Tamra Judge were after Kelly Dodd “unexpectedly” showed up to dinner when Lydia actually invited her. I’m trying (and failed) to think of some way to incorporate the words “pot stirrer” into that old “pot meet kettle” expression, but if you’ve been watching RHOC, then you probably get what I’m going for: viewers were stirring shit up with someone who has been accused of stirring shit up.

Of course Andy Cohen polled the viewers to ask whose side they were on: Lydia’s or Shannon’s. He even remarked, “This is a friendship that did not work from the get-go,” which is the understatement of the century. Shannon destroyed that poll by taking 63% off the votes. Do the viewers agree with Shannon or do they just think that throwing plates and storming off from a child’s birthday party is more entertaining than shamelessly promoting a magazine and claiming to be a “friendship whisperer”? Most likely a little bit of both.

With that said, Lydia couldn’t help reacting to the poll results. She said, “No, and I mean, people love Shannon. That’s OK. I’m OK with that, but I feel like I stick up for myself and I try to learn lessons that I need to learn. But I can’t believe it: 37% percent! Can you explain to me her side?”

Is Lydia not watching the same show that everyone else is? Lydia kept repeating Vicki’s name the day she met Shannon even though Shannon asked her not to. She acted all innocent when Tamra and Shannon were blindsided by Kelly’s appearance at the Quiet Woman even though she invited Kelly and even called her again en route to the restaurant to make sure she showed up. Sure, Shannon has some wild overreactions, but at least Shannon is providing the fandom with some entertaining material for GIFs and memes.

Moving on from the Shannon talk (for a moment), Lydia addressed her discomfort at drag queen bingo. She explained, “I feel like I was misunderstood a little when I am quoted and I say that ‘drag queens aren’t in the Bible.’ What I meant by that was I didn’t know a verse that meant like ‘I can’t go and participate in this.’ I wasn’t meaning like drag queens aren’t in the Bible so therefore they’re somehow excluded from God’s promises or something.” As Andy pointed out, this is definitely going to be a topic of discussion at the RHOC reunion.

Then the Shannon chatter resumed. A caller asked Lydia, “Do you think you’ve been too harsh on her this season and do you see a future being friends?” Lydia told the fan, “I feel like I really tried to be friends with Shannon and we just really misunderstood each other, but I still have faith in us. You have to keep watching. The season’s not over.”

I’m all for Lydia and Shannon becoming friends, but the last thing I want is another Lydia-infused season of RHOC. They can make up away from from television screen.

One caller really went in on Lydia by saying, “What happened to your last magazine and how’s your new magazine doing? Did you come back to the show just so you could plug that magazine because you don’t want to do anything, you don’t want to dress up in drag or nothing like that. So what’s up girl?” Damn. As expected, Lydia didn’t address the juicier portions of that call, but she did take the time to plug her magazine (of course): “We have another magazine called Nobleman Magazine and it’s doing really great. Thank you.”

The pseudo roast of Lydia continued when a caller told her, “You talk about your husband getting his balls cut all the time, but you’re very sensitive about your breast job. I think that’s very hypocritical.” Lydia said, “I don’t think I’m sensitive about talking about my boob job.” Did she not watch last week’s episode?

Lydia said, “Tamra asked me about my boob job and I wasn’t sensitive to her at all. I was fine about it. And then while we were talking, I noticed that Shannon was like squeezing legs under the table. When I went back, Shannon was being loud and expressive because that’s her personality I’m learning. She was like ‘You got a boob job’ with all these other men standing right there and I was like ‘Let’s talk about it tomorrow. You know I got a boob job. You just squeezed legs.'”

The boobs look great, Lydia. There’s no need to get all riled up by the attention. Plus, Shannon wasn’t even referencing Lydia with her instantly infamous leg grabbing. It was about Peggy Sulahian and all of her offhand comments.

Speaking of Peggy, the women were channeling the Season 10 Brooks Ayers saga by questioning her cancer situation the second she got up from dinner to run to the restroom. Lydia wasn’t invited to that dinner, but if she had been, she insisted that she wouldn’t condone that conversation. Lydia said, “Peggy  had a double mastectomy, so what do the details matter? I think I would have stood up for her if I were there.”

Even though Lydia seems like she has no idea what she got herself into by being a Real Housewife, this is actually her second time on the show. During her first season, she got some flack for refusing to put Heather Dubrow on the cover of her magazine – again, with these magazines – even though she put fellow Housewife Lisa Vanderpump on it during the same time period. She was asked, “Do you still feel like Heather Dubrow isn’t enough of a name to grace one of your magazine covers?” Instead of playing up that whole innocent Lydia persona, she kept it real and admitted, “No. She’s not. She’s a Housewife, I mean.”

Andy commented, “You have Matt Damon on your cover” and Lydia didn’t hesitate to say, “Exactly. I’m sorry. She’s not an A list celebrity.” SHADE THROWN.

Real Housewives of Dallas Recap: Triple Board Certifiable

Brandi-Redmond-mimics-LeeAnne-Locken-moments-before-her-surgery

Real Housewives of Dallas Recap

The divide gets a little bit bigger this week on The Real Housewives of Dallas. There’s some crazy talk, but also a moment that looked to be out of Mean Girls: The Adult Years. One house husband won’t miss an opportunity to be on camera, and everyone can’t stop talking about LeeAnne Locken’s plastic surgeon doctor OBYGN cosmetic surgeon. Here we go –

Cary Deuber is alarmed because she’s only having sex with Mark once a day. They’re remodeling the practice and it’s all being put on Cary’s shoulders. She asks if it is okay if she runs to yoga and Mark suggests she keeps working. She wants to pick up her daughter after yoga and he ultimately allows her to “bail” on him again but not without making comments – so many comments. Cary is tired of battling Mark when it comes to giving attention to her daughter. This man needs to be brought down a peg or two, or three or four.

Stephanie Hollman and her husband Travis Hollman bring their young sons to the new house. The kids seem as excited as Travis is about the pool. The boys are “great swimmers” and Travis isn’t interested in hearing Steph’s suggestions to cover it and make the house more family friendly. Steph manages to negotiate that if they cover the pool and let her spend a million dollars to decorate the house, she’ll move in. Deal. Through her husband’s encouragement, Stephanie’s sons push her into the “pool”.

Brandi Redmond swings by to escort LeeAnne to her surgery. Picking up where we left off last week, Brandi is still intrigued by LeeAnne’s surgeon being a “vagina doctor.” LeeAnne reminds us that he is triple board certified as an OBGYN, plastic surgeon, and a hormone replacement specialist. She said she purposefully didn’t mention her doctor in front of Cary because she didn’t want her to disrespect her Doc. LeeAnne gets fired up, asking Brandi how much Cary grilled her on her mommy makeover MD. No one wants to doubt their doctor going under the knife. Cary’s questioning terrified Brandi because she was told her plastic surgeon killed people on the operating table.

LeeAnne-Locken-gets-measured-up-by-her-cosmetic-surgeon-Dr.-True

Funny enough, LeeAnne’s surgeon’s name is Dr. True, unlike Cary, who views him as Dr. Fake. Both Brandi and LeeAnne are thrown off by the orange level lying around the pre-op office. Apparently, LeeAnne has very perky boobs (good to know). Behind closed doors, LeeAnne remarks how judgmental Cary would be if she were there. She’s had it with RN’s unwelcome commentary, threatening that someday she’s going to come for Cary and it isn’t going to be pretty. She alleges that Mark received sexual favors at a gay bar and she knows the boys. The medication must be setting in because she rambles about growing up with a lot of things in her hands that aren’t knives, just hands, and they work quite well. (???) After that exchange, time for a prayer and off to surgery.

Across town, at the office of Dr. Deuber, Plastic Surgeon, they are still shooting a promo for their website. This one includes a full breast augmentation surgery. Cary has to tell Mark that she’s taking time off and is petrified to have the conversation. She doesn’t miss an opportunity to talk up her pain in the ass husband, “Mark’s an amazing plastic surgeon, it’s not like he’s an OBGYN.” Cut to: Dr. True’s office where a nurse clumsily trips over the IV drip.

Mark-Deuber-predicts-Cary-Deuber-will-be-back-at-the-office-in-six-months

Back at Mark’s office, (who’s a plastic surgeon, if you didn’t know), Cary continues to walk on eggshells around her husband. Clearly, the two have already talked but cue the dramatic music. Cary tells Mark today was her last surgery for a couple years. Mark bets she’ll come “crawling back” after 6 months. Instead of hearing the young mom out, he’s concerned about her appearing on the website [and the YouTube channel promo] and not actually being seen in the office. To top it off, there’s nothing more passive aggressive than a “good luck with that” to end a serious conversation.

In a classic Housewives scenario, Brandi and Stephanie go bathing suit shopping for the big Mexico trip. Stephanie asks about LeeAnne’s surgery which is apparently similar to Brandi’s past trip under the knife, which put her out of commission for 8 weeks. Brandi tells her BFF that LeeAnne went off about Cary before surgery and detailed the growling about knives and hands. Steph’s happy that Brandi now sees that LeeAnne is “always up to her old ways.”  Brandi is conflicted whether or not to tell Cary of the controversial comments, but Steph encourages it. In her interview, Brandi does mention that she won’t repeat LeeAnne’s comments about Mark’s alleged sex acts.

Lori, Stephanie’s Life Coach, comes over (who looks like an older Lisa Rinna). The topic is Stephanie’s two boys. Her eldest is focused in school but her youngest son Cruise is dyslexic and had to move schools. Life Coach Lori reminds her that when they started meeting, her focus was on Brandi’s issues. This is hard for Stephanie, who regrets devoting so much of herself to Brandi rather than her own son’s problems. Steph’s feeling the mom guilt.

D'Andra-Simmons-shares-a-laugh-with-Cary-Deuber-at-the-shooting-range

Speaking of #momguilt, Cary, who is no longer feeling the struggle since being home full time, rolls up with Mark to the gun range. D’Andra Simmons and Jeremy meet them in the parking lot. In this class of D’Andra Simmons 101, we learn that she is a perfect shot. She started shooting at 6 years old and has a better shot than her own husband, who was in the military. D’Andra is PUMPED! As usual, Mark is unhappy with Cary. She should have left him home. It’s been two days since Cary’s last day at the office and he still isn’t over it. These two make jabs back and forth, almost like a sport of their own. This has to be a blast for D’Andra and Jeremy to sit through.

Brandi calls up the #SpiritualSniper to tell her about LeeAnne’s words revolving around hurting her as a result of all the “doctor” comments. Brandi doesn’t help things, painting the picture for Cary of LeeAnne spitting and looking delusional. Cary is over it and just won’t act scared when she sees LeeAnne. Maybe she won’t give it any legs?

Cary runs over to tell D’Andra and Mark of the threats. D’Andra laughs it off; she’s not surprised by the comments – and attributes it to LeeAnne taking a Valium before surgery. Mark uses this as an excuse for Cary not to go to Mexico. She said she’s going no matter what.

The packing montage for the big cast trip begins. LeeAnne is sore and healing. Kameron Westcott has anxiety about flying commercial with a fur bag. In case you were wondering, she prefers to fly private. Elsewhere, Brandi’s daughter suggests she not pack pink (Kameron’s color), Brandi does anyways – Kameron be damned. At the Simmons’ house, D’Andra asks her husband about her stepson Keatin. Jeremy says he has a job interview and he’s apparently not mad at her [for making him sell her gowns on eBay]. Cary can’t even pack in peace. Mark is right there, underfoot on the computer, coaching her to ignore LeeAnne on the trip.

The housewives are off early to Mexico with a 6 AM start. It looks like we’ll have to wait and see if LeeAnne plans to behave on this trip. They arrive at beautiful Playa del Carmen. In a peaceful exchange, the ladies pick rooms. D’Andra and LeeAnne will share a room. Of course Brandi and Stephanie bunk together. Lastly, Cary and Kameron will split a room. With a big smile on her face, Cary is excited to tell Kameron that she normally sleeps naked, but not to worry on this trip – she’ll have on PJs.

Brandi-Redmond-mimics-LeeAnne-Locken-moments-before-her-surgery

Outside, in the hot tub, Kameron is confused on what’s going on with LeeAnne since getting an earful sitting next to her on the plane. Cary asks if she said she was going to kill her, Kameron assures her the answer is no. Brandi and Stephanie join in. The redhead feels that LeeAnne was upset about the comments Cary made about her OBGYN doctor. Brandi impersonates mimics LeeAnne’s knives comment made in the doctor’s office while all up in Kameron’s face. Brandi attempts to clarify, “it was after the nurse…” but Cary cuts in interrupting her point, “she’s threatened to strangle me!” cluing Kameron into the madness. It looks like the theory of LeeAnne being induced is correct.

Inside, LeeAnne and D’Andra have a sit-down. LeeAnne claims she’s gone out of her way to befriend Cary and is mad by the constant rude comments. D’Andra pulls out her famous pointed finger (channeling Dee Simmons) instructing her friend not to be affected by it. In her interview, D’Andra warns that if LeeAnne keeps saying the same hateful thing over and over, people will believe it. LeeAnne does admit to creating her own downfalls but predicts Cary will blow it all out of proportion.

Back outside, the girls continue gossiping about everybody’s favorite topic: LeeAnne. Cary thanks Brandi for telling her about the comments LeeAnne made while drugged up. It quickly turns into a scene out of Mean Girls. Brandi makes a snide comment citing LeeAnne’s doctor who asked her to tape a compact in between her books to prevent a bulk. This stirs up quite a laugh – at LeeAnne’s expense. Brandi is clearly more loyal to this group than her new friend. Kameron picks up on this but doesn’t know how to react. Stephanie jokes, “Easy, Breezy, Beautiful, Boob job.” The leader, Cary, caps off the scene, “Let’s put on our swimsuits. Let’s go show off our titties that we all had done by real plastic surgeons.” She officially sounds like Mark. Classy.

NEXT: The class continues. Cary shi* talks Rich’s manhood. Kameron freaks out over a dildo. LeeAnne shows D’Andra her engagement ring and is called to carpet about her strangling comments.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THIS WEEK’S EPISODE? Is LeeAnne right to be irritated at Cary for questioning her Doctor’s credentials?

What follows is everything you’ll need to know to get ready for Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, whether you’re a veteran Survivor-slappy (like me) or a brand-spankin’ new fan of the show looking to join the absolute best fan community of any TV show. So let’s get to it!

So first things first: What you are reading right now may be the last time this season that I refer to Season 35 as “Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.” It’s too much. Too many words, too many keystrokes. Henceforth, this season shall be known as “Survivor: HHH” on these pages. Why not “H3” or “Triple-H”? Let the debates begin in the comment section below.

I'm Not Crazy, I'm Confident

With that out of the way, let’s spell out what this season is all about and what we know to be true:

  • Season 35 – Survivor: HHH – was filmed last Summer on the islands of Fiji, as have the past few seasons of the show (as well as the upcoming Season 36 which will air in Spring of 2018). That means that we can expect some beautiful scenery, clear blue waters and tropic wildlife, in what has quietly become one of the most splendid visual settings on all of TV.
  • This season features an all-new cast, so no returning players this time. The 18 contestants will initially be divided up into three tribes of  six (for more on the tribe divisions and for an introduction to these new players, click here). They’re being split up based on their “positive traits” and their professions, so you can expect the “heroes” to be firefighters, police, etc, and “healers” to be in the medical profession. The term “hustlers” has caused some pre-game confusion, but the term is not supposed to be a negative…instead think of a “hustler” as somebody who works really hard and has to push through to get things done.

I'm Not Crazy, I'm Confident

  • Hidden Immunity Idols – shielding a player from having votes cast against him/her at Tribal Council – will once again be in play, but as always, you can expect some new twists…starting as early as in the very first episode. Probst teased that there would be a “Super Idol” advantage introduced during the opening days of the game, which allows the person who possesses it to uses it AFTER the votes are read at Tribal, instead of before like a normal Idol. This is a huge game-changer, but it comes with a condition: It MUST be played during the very first Tribal Council. This could shake the game up right from the very start for sure. But what if the person who finds it doesn’t go to that first Tribal? Well, according to Probst, he/she must then blindly choose a person on the losing tribe to give it to, in secret. This move too, could come with some excitement, and nobody says that this Super Idol has to be played at all. It’s a new wrinkle that will surely make that first Tribal very interesting, to say the least.
  • The only other thing we really know about the cast is that Probst describes many of them as “superfans,” meaning that we can expect players who know the game and know that big moves are often necessary (wow, how refreshing this sounds coming on the heels of Big Brother 19!). Click here to watch Probst’s pre-season cast assessment.
  • If you’re still jonesing for some Survivor and can’t even wait until Wednesday night’s premiere, here are some more little treats for you: First off, read this article by EW’s Dalton Ross, who everybody knows is one of the best in the business and closest to the action…this walk down Survivor-memory-lane was one of my favorite write-ups of the off-season. Still need a Survivor fix? Well I’m happy to share with you the first six-minutes of the Survivor: HHH Premiere episode here.

I'm Not Crazy, I'm Confident

That brings me to what you can expect from this column. First off, I’m very ecstatic to be back covering Survivor for Reality Tea for this, my third season (prior to that, I was the “Survivor Examiner” for Examiner.com, having covered the show professionally since Season 20, Heroes vs. Villains). If you’re wondering where my voice is coming from, well, I’ve been a mega-fan of the show since the very first episode of Season 1, and I’ve never, ever missed an episode going into Season 35. I’m a married 38-year-old dude with a 1-year-old son (who is amazing). I’m also a film critic, and am the national film critic for AXS.com and a member of the Detroit and Online Critic Societies as well as the Broadcast Film Critics Association (the group that puts on the Critics Choice Awards on TV each year). In addition, I co-produce a syndicated TV show, “Movie Show Plus” and if you’re in the Detroit area, I’m also on the local FOX affiliate each and every Friday at 6:30pm EST on the 30-minute movie show, “Critic Lee Speaking” with host Lee Thomas. If you’re NOT in the Detroit area, that’s OK too, because we put the full show up on our Facebook page usually by Sunday of each week…so if you like movies at all and want to read my movie reviews or watch me on TV (or on Facebook), please follow me on Twitter (@tomsantilli) and like the Critic Lee Speaking Facebook Page!

I'm Not Crazy, I'm Confident

But that being all fine and dandy, here’s what to expect with my Survivor coverage and this column for this season! I may or may not post an “Episode Preview” each week (although I might occasionally), but you can count on EACH AND EVERY WEEK my written Recap/Analysis right here on Reality Tea. My “FilmSurvivor Podcast” will be back every Thursday with my exclusive audio chat with each contestant voted-out that week on Survivor: HHH. And don’t worry, the Podcast will post right here on Reality Tea, but you can also find it and download it on Podbean and on iTunes. On the podcast, I’ll do a short recap of the week’s episode giving you my thoughts and expanding on my written Recap article, and then I’ll bring you the exit interview. As a movie critic, my Podcasts may also contain interviews with celebrities, directors, actors or people within the film universe, but I will usually have a description of each podcast so you can go right to the part that you want, or listen to the whole damn thing. If you love movies, great. If you love Survivor, great. But if you love movies AND Survivor like me, then the FilmSurvivor Podcast is something you are going to want to get into!

So to summarize:

  • Wednesdays: Expect an Episode Preview (sometimes) and a Recap/Analysis late night or the following morning, right here on Reality Tea.
  • Thursdays: Expect to listen to the FilmSurvivor Podcast for my exclusive weekly exit interview with the voted-out contestant.
  • The best way to follow all of this is to follow me on Twitter (see above!).

So are you shaking with anticipation for the new season? I am! There are a lot of divisive things going on in this world, so let’s all unite under the entertainment umbrella that Survivor provides us! I for one look forward to the escape! We’ll see you right here following Wednesday’s Premiere Episode!

Miss Lawrence Dishes On Kenya Moore’s Marriage, TV Fame, Singing For Kandi Burruss, Leaving RHOA And More On The Jenny McCarthy Show

Jenny-McCarthy-Miss-Lawrence-Skype-Interview-JM-Show-SirusXM-RHOA

Lawrence Washington aka “Miss Lawrence” made men’s heels fashionable on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as hair stylist to Sheree Whitfield, and shade-thrower to many. But his talents don’t end there. Some may recall Lawrence’s incredible pipes – a singing voice that got him noticed by friend and music producer, Kandi Burruss. Though Lawrence didn’t ultimately sign with Kandi’s production company, he did go on to parlay his powerful voice (and acting chops) into a role on Fox’s series, Star, as recurring character “Miss Bruce.”

This doesn’t mean he severed connections with the women of RHOA though. When Miss Lawrence stopped by the Jenny McCarthy Show on SiriusXM, he had plenty to say about the series that got him noticed, and the women who continue to do battle on it. Specifically, Lawrence tells Jenny why he didn’t sign with Kandi, how he thinks Kenya Moore’s marriage is legit, and why he feels like the women of RHOA have culturally appropriated the terms “shade” and “read” from the LGBTQ community.

On why Lawrence did not pursue a music career with Kandi, he says, “I didn’t want to be tied to Kandi contractually when it came to music.” Though Kandi’s success in the music industry is undeniable, Lawrence didn’t want to be tied into a contract that might force him down a path he’d be limited by. Lawrence expresses his love and respect for Kandi, even though their musical partnership didn’t pan out.

Leaving that opportunity alone ended up being a good move for Lawrence, who went on to host Fashion Queens on Bravo, appear on the hit series Empire, and now on season two as a cast member of Star. “There’s always another door or another window that you can shoot through if you feel that something’s not right,” he tells Jenny. “Have the courage to just say no.”

Lawrence joked that he told Kandi straight up, “I am not gonna be one of those starving artists who’s making no money because they signed one of those heavy a$$ contracts, honey. I said, b*tch, I like Chanel! I like Gucci, I like Vuitton…and I’ll be damned if I don’t ever get to buy it because I done signed to Kandi Koated Entertainment!”

On NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak Biermann coming back to RHOA, Lawrence thinks it’s a good thing, and hopes the audience embraces their return. He says NeNe is, after all, one of the women who “helped get [RHOA] to where it is” today. Interesting praise, considering most of the cast (minus NeNe) has reached out to Lawrence to congratulate him on his work on Star.

Which brings us to every housewife’s favorite word: Shade! What is it? Where did it come from? And why is everyone using it? “Now, honey,” explains Lawrence, “Shade comes from reading, and reading comes from shade. That’s a quote from Dorian Corey in Paris is Burning.

“Now the whole ‘shade’ thing, I get kind of sensitive when it comes to that,” Lawrence tells Jenny. He argues that the women on reality TV who seem to be “coining” these terms have actually culturally appropriated them from the LGBTQ community, who’ve used these terms for eons “as the way we related to one another.” Although Lawrence is fine with the lighthearted use of slang whenever and wherever appropriate, he calls out some of the women for “not standing on the front lines with us” when it comes to real LGBTQ rights. “A lot of them go missing in action,” he admits.

Some women on the Real Housewives franchises also use their gay male friends as “accessories” who they can steal “intellectual property” from, argues Lawrence. And in the case of wildly popular phrases and slang, that property is valuable – especially on television. Though Lawrence feels lucky for the platform RHOA gave him, he doesn’t feel like he got trapped into being one of these Housewives accessories. “I was a hair stylist. They needed me. They came to me and asked me would I be a part of this thing.”

But after “too much inflammatory” drama surrounded him, Lawrence felt it was time to leave the show. “I knew I would never hold a goddamned peach!” he jokes. “Which means I would never get one of them checks…so I found a new space to get one of my own checks.”

Lawrence has nothing but love for the series that shined a light on his talents, though, offering support to the cast in its coming season. And he doesn’t even have any jabs for Kenya, who’s super-secret marriage looks like one of the main storylines. “I think she kept it really, really quiet and private,” says Lawrence of Kenya’s wedding, but “it’s not fake. No. I know her, I know him. He’s a very good business man here in New York City. No, he’s a real person.” Hmm. No shade there!

TELL US: DO YOU THINK THE HOUSEWIVES CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE GAY CULTURE? WAS LAWRENCE WISE TO NOT SIGN WITH KANDI?
