Tom Sandoval Explains His Argument With Ariana Madix Over The Recording; Insists He Was On Brittany Cartwright’s Side When Jax Taylor Cheated On Her
Obviously Jax Taylor cheating on Brittany Cartwright with Faith Stowers is the main story line this season on Vanderpump Rules. This scandal damaged more than Jax and Brittany’s relationship.
Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, the couple that never fights (on camera, at least), ended up engaging in a screaming match on camera after Ariana showed Brittany the audio that Faith recorded during her hookup with Jax. Tom couldn’t believe that she did this at Brittany’s housewarming party when she (and everyone else) was wasted and Ariana avidly defended her decision.
Tom made it clear that he wasn’t just siding with his boy Jax when he got into it with Ariana and that viewers thinking he wasn’t on Brittany’s side is the “biggest misconception.”
His issue wasn’t that Ariana showed Brittany the recording. It was more about the timing and state of drunkenness. In an interview with Daily Pop, “If anything I was more on Brittany’s side, it’s just that Brittany was so drunk that the last thing I wanted her to do is hear something that traumatic in that state of mind.”
Obviously Brittany deserved to know what Jax was saying behind her back. Lala Kent had a valid point when she told Ariana, “Do you want to ruin her night or do you want to ruin her life?” On the other hand, why couldn’t they just meet up for a hangover brunch the next day and talk to her then? In the grand scheme of things, there is no “private” way to share this with Brittany since they are filming a reality TV show. Even one-on-one conversations make it into the episodes.
Brittany finding out while she’s wasted in a room with the entire cast made for great TV, but it had to be a rough night for her.

Kandi Burruss Thinks Porsha Williams Lied About Believing Phaedra Parks About The Rumors Last Year
There are few things that are more annoying than a Real Housewife dragging out a story line – MOST of the time. Usually, I’m all for moving on, arguing about something new, and repeating the cycle as quickly as possible. That said, it makes complete sense for Kandi Burruss to still be upset that Porsha Williams spread rumors that Kandi wanted to drug and rape her. Is Kandi really supposed to hug her and go shopping together after that?
Obviously, they’re both cast members on Real Housewives of Atlanta, so Kandi cannot just cut her out the way most people would if they weren’t on a reality TV show. Porsha should feel blessed that Kandi hasn’t taken any legal action against her. Kandi rebuffing a hug or two really isn’t that big of a deal in comparison. Porsha really got off easy here.
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kandi was asked about Porsha – a lot. The viewers wanted to know why Kandi invited her to the party for her Essence cover if she wasn’t cool with her. Kandi admitted, “First of all, she’s on the show, so that’s why she got invited. Honestly, we would never talk again if it wasn’t for us being in the same cast. Let’s be honest. On top of that, I am trying to move past it because we do work together, but it was too soon. I was trying to be nice, but I didn’t want to be buddy buddy.”
Did Kandi actually invite Porsha or was Porsha’s name on the schedule for filming that day? I would not be at all shocked if production pushed Kandi to include her former accuser on the guest list.
Andy Cohen asked Kandi to address rumors that she and Todd Tucker are divorcing. Kandi looked visibly shocked by the question and admitted, “I haven’t even heard those rumors.” Then the camera panned to Todd in the audience supporting Kandi and shaking his head. He even jokingly asked “Who said that?” as an homage to Kandi’s infamous line during the Season 9 reunion.
Porsha isn’t the only person who has spread lies about Kandi. A couple of episodes ago, Kim Zolciak told Sheree Whitfield that Kandi “wanted to lick her box.” Kandi said, “That was such bull crap. That was a lie. And the thing that I really don’t like is that she texted me and said you guys edited her to make it look like she was saying that. I said, ‘First of all from what I saw, it looks like you said that. So that’s a lie.’ I have never in life ever tried to come onto her in any kind of way. For me, I just needed her to tell the world that it’s not true. If you didn’t say it, just tell the world. I’m still waiting. I’m still waiting for her to do it.”
Kim goes from emphatically declaring that Kandi wanted her “box” to backtracking and blaming the editing? How reliable.
A caller asked Kandi, “Why are you upset with Porsha when Phaedra [Parks] is the one who started all of this?” Kandi said, “Why am I upset with her? That’s the part that cracks me up: when people say why am I upset with her? First of all, yeah I know I wasn’t as tight with her at that moment as she was with Phaedra, but she and I had been cool for a very long time. I had never done anything to make her feel uncomfortable around me or anything. For Phaedra to just be able to tell you something right before we were going to have a conversation and you just throw it out there as if it’s true, to say something so serious and she knows for a fact that I would never try to do anything like that to her. So she just believed that I told Phaedra that? That’s such crap.”
Kandi continued, “So she kept saying, ‘Someone told me,’ but never once was Phaedra repeating it publicly, so why would you continue to believe it was true? I don’t believe the whole thing about her believing Phaedra. I feel like she just wanted to come at me with some things to say because we were arguing and she ran with it and I feel like that’s not the type of thing that you run with.”
After a commercial break, Kandi added, “Todd just wanted me to remind everybody as far as the Porsha comments go that Phaedra and I hadn’t been friends since a couple of years before last season. We hadn’t hung out together at all before that last season. So when would I have ever told her that? So he was like common sense should have told Porsha that I hadn’t even talked to Phaedra in years on anything personal, so why would I tell her that?”
Such a valid point. Why would Kandi start confiding in Phaedra all of a sudden? How could Porsha actually believe that?

Summer House Star Stephen McGee Claims Scheana Marie Had Sex With Carl Radke
I cannot get enough of Bravo. I wish that there was some sort of spin-off hybrid series about the Bravolebrities in between seasons. I would love to see people from different shows mingling, turning up after Watch What Happens Live, and whatever else happens before and after they post photos together on Instagram.
Since Summer House is technically a Vanderpump Rules spin-off and the two casts hang out pretty often, it’s not too hard to imagine that a hookup went down with cast members from both shows.
Summer House standout Stephen McGee spilled some major tea about his best-friend-turned-enemy Carl Radke during his appearance on the Morning Breath live show.
Out of nowhere, Stephen just said, “Can I just tell you something? Carl f-cked Scheana [Marie].” Wait. What? When did that happen? I would love to see a timeline of that (alleged) hookup and Scheana’s relationship/friends with benefits/best friends forever situation with Robert Valletta.
Stephen sarcastically added, “Oh my god, I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to say that. I can’t believe I said that.” Then the live audience started to chant, “Carl f-cked Scheana,” which is arguably more humiliating than the clique drama Scheana has endured as a Vanderpump Rules cast member.
Stephen admitted, “I’m so embarrassed. I really didn’t even know that was about to come out.” Nevertheless, he continued and added, “I went with Carl and Scheana back to Carl’s apartment one night and she knew where everything was.” That’s not exactly a smoking gun, but how would Scheana be so familiar with where the cups are at Carl’s apartment unless she’s been there before?
Stephen clarified, “This was in early December.” This is the kind of gossip that would make Summer House a million times more interesting. Now I just wish that there was a way to continuously incorporate Vanderpump Rules into the Summer House story lines.

Camille Grammer Was “Humiliated” By Dorit Kemsley’s Drunken Outburst; Open To Getting Married On Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
As much as Dorit Kemsley is annoying me this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (i.e. a whole lot), she is the only one giving us something to talk about every week. Sure, most of us are hating on Dorit for drunkenly calling Camille Grammer a “stupid c-nt,” but that’s a lot more interesting than watching gratuitous self promotion, home construction, and glam squads week after week.
Camille is opening up about Dorit’s rudeness, her engagement with David C. Meyer, and her first marriage with Kelsey Grammer.
During an episode of the Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald podcast, Heather McDonald asked Camille, “Why is she calling you a c-nt?” Camille didn’t provide much insight, but she did say, “No idea. I don’t know. To this day, I don’t know why she said it.”
I know why Dorit said it: she was thirsting for camera time.
Camille continued, “I really was humiliated at that moment. I was ashamed. I really was at a loss for words. I didn’t want to say anything back to Dorit and give it any more energy. I just wanted to let it go, but in my testimonials, I was like rapid fire. I just felt like it was so inappropriate and it was unnecessary. Why did she think of this? Is this how she thinks of me or did somebody put a bug in her ear? Was one of her good, new besties talking smack about me behind my back? Or is this how she feels? I’m not sure. Or just desperate for attention?”
Probably all of the above. It would not be at-all-surprising if Dorit was acting as another Housewife’s soldier. It wouldn’t be the first time a Real Housewife had a newer cast member do her dirty work.
Later in the episode, Camille commented, “Dorit’s accent is not as strong this year, so maybe she’s more conscious about it. Self-conscious about it, maybe.” Or she’s just trying to rebound after the (many) criticisms about her acquired accent that she received last season.
Moving on to a more positive subject, Camille shared, “I’m happy that I’m engaged. I’m in no rush to get re-married. We are getting married. We are planning a wedding.” She revealed, “We were thinking October. I was thinking maybe in Hawaii because I love Hawaii.” Of course, any time Camille mentions Hawaii, I flashback to that Season 1 controversy where Camille was asked about going to Hawaii without Kelsey. Camille added, “I was thinking maybe two services because his mom would like us to get married at the church that she is a part of. ”
Heather asked, “Would you share it with the show?” Camille admitted, “Possibly. I’m not sure. It depends if I’m on the show again, if they want me back on the show, and how that would play out. Maybe I would show parts of it. I wouldn’t want the whole thing recorded for the show because I want to keep a lot private. You never know.”
Clearly, Camille is in a much better place these days when it comes to her love life, but people are still fascinated by her previous relationship with ex-husband Kelsey, especially since it feels like Camille always has new scintillating tea to spill. She revealed, “He came to me and said, ‘We need to redefine our marriage. Maybe we need to have an open marriage, but I don’t want to know anything about it.’ If somebody says that, do not fall for it. Then, your marriage is done.”

Sister Wives Recap: Flower Power
Surely these Sister Wives paychecks cannot be enough to justify Meri Brown to stick around and mooch money out of her family to purchase a second home for her mother. She just needs to put her house on the market, file for divorce (oh, wait, done!), and move with her mom to BFE Utah to buy her family’s former homestead. Clearly, her bed and breakfast plans were extremely short lived. And what about Christine’s mom? Unlike Meri’s mom, Christine’s mother was willing to run the house in question as a bed and breakfast. Meri is over the moon that her mom wants to move into the home, and, even better, Meri doesn’t have to learn how to run a business of which she has zero knowledge. It’s a win/win…for Meri. This is a wet bar scenario on a much larger scale!
Once again, Meri summons Kody and the wives to her corner of the cul-de-sac, and once again, Robyn, Janelle, and Christine are unsure as to what to expect. Meri announces that her mother wants to move into the house, and Christine is thrilled. Her mom and Meri’s mom could run the bed and breakfast together. Meri then shares that her mom wants to move in and not run the business. Wait, what? Janelle is confused. Meri expects the family to chip in on the house and not make any profit off of it? Yeah, that makes Meri a tad nervous. It’s an expensive undertaking not to make any money. You think?
Meri justifies that if they buy the home without the bed and breakfast furnishings, it would be a tad cheaper. Christine declares Meri’s latest idea as dumb. If she wants a second home for her mother, can’t she find something a bit smaller? Kody is curious about how Meri plans to finance this endeavor. They throw around the terms “direct marketing scheme” and “social retail business” instead of pyramid schemes crazy leggings. Meri is doing well hocking the crazy patterns, but she isn’t keen on financing it on her own.
Kody suggests Meri buy the lot across the street from the proposed bed and breakfast site, but that defeats the purpose of Meri getting her grandmother’s house back in the family. Janelle is still baffled by what Meri hopes to gain from this meeting. Is she expecting them to foot the bill for her mother’s new house? Christine tells Meri that she should inform her mother the only way she can move in is if they still run the bed and breakfast for profit.
Robyn, ever Meri’s cheerleader, encourages Meri to keep working hard lulaselling the fabric of our lives so she can afford the place. While Meri is grateful for Robyn’s choice of words, she also appreciates Christine‘s brutal honesty. She claims to understand her family’s hesitation to finance something that will be solely her own… especially a home purchase. As the family exits in exasperation, Meri heads over to that wonderful wet bar to drown her sorrows. Okay, so she didn’t, but how awesome if that actually happened?
Meri invites Kody to take a day trip with her to see the house. Her sister wives have seen it, but her husband has not. Kody laughs -does he want Meri to have him pretend to support her? He knows she wants him to reinforce her vision, but he warns her it could have the adverse affect. Y’all know Kody is dreading this road trip. When Meri gets teary, Kody caves.
It’s a big win for Meri as it gives her a glimmer of hope for their struggling relationship. Kody wonders what the big deal is – it’s not like they are even trying to work on their relationship. He likens their situation to being a divorced couple who lives on the same block. Ding, ding, ding! That’s exactly what you are, Kody! He believes that the pair is bound by a lot of things, but love isn’t really one of them at this point. He hopes they can squeeze in a session with their therapist before this nightmare of a bonding experience. He doesn’t feel safe with his emotions. Give. Me. A. Break. Kody has been trading up on Meri for decades now, but he’s the one who feels vulnerable. Sheesh.
Because Meri’s downward spiral isn’t awkward enough to watch, we need to drag out some of Tony and Mykelti’s train wreck of a wedding. Christine is in a special sort of tizzy, and Robyn and Janelle feel special that the couple has involved all of the family in the wedding. Janelle muses that in most plural families, all the non-bio parents are just additional guests. Meri nods half-heartedly. Lady, if you’re going to show up to these sofa sessions, at least pretend to make an effort. You’re trying to get these people to help you buy a home in which they will have no ownership. Read your audience!
As Christine runs around in hurricane of wedding preparation, she takes a few minutes to opine on daughter Ysabel’s aggressive scoliosis, which is getting worse despite wearing a nightly back brace. This season can’t be solely about Meri’s escape or Tony’s Jedi mouth-mumbling mind control of Mykelti, now can it? Poor Ysabel now has to wear a day time brace, and she sobs talking about it – not just does it inhibit her ability to do things, but it is physically painful. It’s heartbreaking to watch her breakdown, and it’s even sadder when she discusses how she knows other people are dealing with harder issues. Christine hopes the day time brace will help so Ysabel can avoid spinal surgery.
In St. George, Christine, Aspyn, and the ladies in Tony’s family gather together for pre-wedding manicures. Not shockingly, Mykelti is as high-maintenance as ever, even when it comes to gel nails. As Christine brags about her growing Spanish vocabulary (“Donde esta el bano?”), Mykelti shares that Tony is more stressed out than she is.
Aspyn admits to possibly instigating an argument between the happy couple, and her sister shoots daggers at her. The fight stemmed from this ridiculous months long homemade petals project on which Aspyn tried to enlist Tony’s help. Christine laughs, stating that she and Kody had the same tiff over Mykelti‘s damn labor intensive fake flowers. Kody didn’t want to assist in making them either. Christine asserts that Kody loves to bicker as long as it doesn’t lead to any in depth conversations. Robyn counters that she often forces Kody to have uncomfortable, deep discussions. Christine is confused as to Robyn’s tactics, and Kody and Janelle joke that they have mastered the art of avoidance when it comes to their issues. Par for the course, Meri remains silent.
Christine is extremely nervous about singing at the wedding, and its sweet to see Janelle being so complimentary and supportive. Christine isn’t worried about messing up in front of her daughter, she’s concerned about looking foolish in front of the four hundred strangers her daughter and Tony have invited to this shindig. She is having one last rehearsal with the guitarist, and the actual performance is going to be epic. The guitarist can’t seem to get the correct key…according to Christine. She double talks about how talented he is but how she is not used to singing with a guitar – even though she wanted the guitar. Christine’s goal is to make Mykelti cry. I wish her goal wasn’t to crack my television screen with the high notes.
When they first talked about the handmade flowers, I didn’t get the gist. Mykelti has created (with the help of her poor mother and sister) every bridesmaids bouquet, every corsage, every boutonniere, every centerpiece out of roughly seven thousand hand sewn fabric petals. She hopes the pieces will be keepsakes forever. Aspyn can appreciate the sentiment but after spending the last three months of her life sewing these damn petals, she will likely be chucking her bouquet into the nearest trash can post-wedding. Christine can’t wait to gift Mykelti with the flowers she made from her wedding dress – they will serve as the the “something borrowed” tradition.
Mykelti‘s apartment is cramped with her family and friends as Tony and Kody attempt to fill up the bride and groom pinatas with candy. Most of the wives are still wary of the whole pinata idea. In this age of domestic violence, Kody feels it would be classier if they pair let the young kids hit the pinatas. There is just something weird about Tony beating the crap out of a pinata that is supposed to represent his wife. You think? After the pinatas have been filled, Christine gifts Mykelti with the wedding dress flowers and gives Tony his Irish wedding ring. Both are touched.
Before the big day, Kody and Christine along with Tony’s parents head to pawn shop Chris‘ house to go over the service and Chris’ wedding sermon. Chris explains that he got absolutely no direction from the bride and groom. He was just told to do something fun and outside of the box. Kody has an air of even more bravado that normal which is likely caused by the fact his daughter didn’t ask him to perform the service. As the grown-ups gripe about the rainy, cold wedding (outdoors in December…go figure), Chris segues into incorporating a frisbee since Tony and Mykelti met playing ultimate frisbee. Tony is desperately trying to hold his tongue. He finds the theme to be incredibly trite. Don’t they know marriage is serious? Christine unpacks the box of four hundred mini frisbees decorated with sentiments of love and pants wearing. Tony’s parents smile and nod about the entire situation. They know they have zero say at this point…the frisbees are already in play (literally).
To help fill up this ridiculous two-hour time slot, we’re treated to Robyn waxing poetic about the happy couple and trying to wrangle her sick kids with the help of her cousin/nanny and sister. The ladies worry about the dreary weather, and it is stressing out Robyn to the max. Her children have coughs, and she doesn’t want them exposed to the elements, but, of course, she doesn’t want to take away from Mykelti’s big day by putting the focus on her. Sure she doesn’t.
In Utah, Mykelti and Tony are cutting out paper hearts for the guests to throw in the air as they walk back down the aisle. Christine feels sneaky knowing those hearts will never see the inside of a tacky basket thanks to her frisbees. There is some teasing about the couple connecting, and Christine warns that any physical connecting needs to wait until the wedding night. Ew. Tony busts in to impart his advice about sexuality before bursting into tears. It is a huge big ball of creepy. Tony takes Kody’s advice to heart – he must be infinitely wise having done this four times already. Tony so wants to have more than one wife. Kody urges them to focus on each other, but Robyn emphasizes that she tried not to focus on Kody on their big day. She wanted to focus on everyone so as not to step on anyone’s toes. We get it Robyn, you’re better than your counterparts. As the family freaks about the weather, Mykelti tunes them out entirely. Rain, sleet, snow, hail, it’s her day and it will be outside. Get over it people.
The rain subsides in time for the rehearsal, but it is incredibly windy. No one can hear the instructions from a screeching Mykelti and that poor wedding planner as Truely gets blown across the reception space. Tony forgot to tell a few of his brosman to attend, so corralling the crew is even more difficult. I am the epitome of “always the bridesmaid, never the bride” having walking in roughly fifteen weddings, and I have never seen such a cluster. Mykelti is a drill sergeant, but she’s herding feral cats at best. The group is able to get through the rehearsal with minimal windburn. Mykelti is glad to have waited until December because it has allowed all of her siblings to be able to attend. Christine is tending to some last minute details.
That evening, the wedding party and their families head to the bowling alley. Madison is showing a great deal for only being three months along, and Caleb interrupts her conversation with Logan’s girlfriend to kiss his wife’s belly. The wives chat about how surreal it is to be grandmothers, but Meri hasn’t opened her mouth since the cringe worthy first ten minutes of this episode. That was a long two hours, y’all.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Recap: Dating Mr. Messy
What did Cynthia Bailey ever do to anybody? Other than be too much of a push over? Last night’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta was unbelievably messy and the poor unwitting target was Cynthia.
Attacking Cynthia is like smacking a bunny. Leave the girl alone to date and learn some tough-love lessons about getting played. Instead of bopping her on the head, her friends should pet her ever-changing wigs and tell her it will be OK. Clearly Cynthia habitually picks the WRONG men, and trying to teach her how to spot a scrub is not working. Even when she has a bonafide extra like Kandi Burruss at her disposal!
The story of Will, and Cynthia’s ‘friends’ protecting her from the evil, lying, user, is essentially a lower-stakes repeat of her wedding day to Peter Thomas. Back then it was Cynthia’s mom and sister trying to do anything to make her see sense. It didn’t work then, and it won’t work now to have Eva Marcille finally make her debut only to stage a confrontation with Will about how he’s hiding a top-secret, beautiful girlfriend who’s also wonderful with children. Cynthia is STILL in denial, ladies. Cynthia obviously likes denial!
NeNe Leakes introduces Eva. We’re supposed to believe they’re pals from L.A. and Eva has just moved to town for her ‘relationship’ with Michael Sterling, who is running for Mayor Of Atlanta (Spoiler Alert: He didn’t win, but it seems like he plans to run again. He’s also since proposed to Eva!). I’m not sure how politics and Real Housewives mesh, but I would love to find out!
Eva claims she doesn’t like kicking up dust and getting her polo boots dirty, but she will stomp out drama. Spoiler alert: Eva loves being knee-deep in the shit. NeNe’s cackle tells us all we need to know about the direction of her friendship with Eva.
The other thing that happened is, we learned Kenya Moore‘s marriage sounds like the future plot of a thriller where the amazing, hot, successful, too good to be true husband turns out to be some sort of controlling nightmare. I do believe Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez, Angela Bassett, and many other A-listers have starred in such movies, so maybe it’s Kenya’s plan to use ‘her story’ as material for a future production which will create revitalize her career.
Question Marc has no interest in living in Atlanta with Kenya and her dog-children, although she’s doing all she can to entice him. Including purchasing $7,000 worth of exercise equipment and setting up a home gym in Moore Manor’s flooded basement. Celebrities: they’re just like us!
Kenya brings her cousin Che gym shopping, and a shocked Che is forced to listen to Kenya’s travails of wifely duties. On the cult compound. When Question Marc visits, Kenya likes to keep him locked in the house so she can react immediately to his every whim – feed him, clean up after him, pet him, walk him, wash him (and his clothes), and if needed take him to the vet – all with a cheerful, enticing, and sexy smile on her face. How does he manage in NYC while she’s ‘working’ in Atlanta?
Kenya seems to believe ‘Stepford Wives’ is an actual how-to manual, and is having difficultly juggling the astounding responsibilities of pet ownership with Marc ownership. It’s because Marc is an “alpha male,” which is code word for “controlling douche bag” and “no wonder he was still single,” who expects Kenya not only to dote on his every whim, but be a constantly available sexbot who is always happy, excited, and ecstatic by everything he suggests and never, ever complains or questions him, all while maintaining a perfect home with dinner on the table by 6PM. Kenya, 1950 was over 70 years ago, but I guess about the time you started your search for a huzzzzzband. With all that Marc requires, Kenya can’t imagine how she’ll cope with a baby in the mix – and Marc’s is demanding NO NANNIES.
Porsha Williams is no longer a baby vegan, now she’s a full-fledged convert spreading the plant-based love to her new, health-conscious bestie Kim Zolciak. Apparently Kim has been vegetarian “her whole life.” Really now? Kim made Kroy drive her over to Porsha’s for a cooking lesson with a vegan chef who was just adorable and professional. While Kim made Kroy wait in the car (why not just get a job with Uber already, buddy!), she brought her red solo cup inside to check things out. Is Solo Cup Kim’s new imaginary friend? Does she think that accessory is ever gonna happen? Why is she dragging poor that poor thing everywhere? Other people own glassware. Or maybe there’s some secret brew inside.
Kim obviously isn’t there for the butternut squash soup, she’s there for the tea from Houston about how badly Kenya behaved. Porsha does not disappoint when revealing how “Old Kenya” came out and was “so mean” to Cynthia and Shamea Morton. Perhaps Kenya’s weekly dose of Marc’s dick-quilizer wore off, and she can only keep the Krayonce squashed for so long? Kim’s opinion is that Kenya is cracking under the stress of hiding a fake marriage.
I don’t like Kim one bit, but she and Porsha are pretty hilarious together – especially their impersonations of Cynthia trying to console a bitchy Kenya. Hey, when you’re vegan, you gotta pick bones somewhere!
And speaking of picking bones, Kandi will forever have one to pick with Porsha. Instead of ignoring Porsha, she’s doing this weird passive-aggressive non-confrontation thing.
Kandi decides to throw a party to celebrate her Essence cover, but the entire planning meeting is about why Kandi wants to invite Porsha to ‘show her what success looks like.’ DonJuan worries that Porsha will get the wrong idea.
Meanwhile, Cynthia is ‘defining’ her relationship with Will. She wants to date around a bit, but he’s pressing her to get exclusive. Cynthia’s resolve is waning because Will seems like the total package and she can’t believe she found him on the wonderful world of Tinder. Isn’t Fifty Cyn old enough to know that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is? Being pretty seems to have stunted Cynthia’s emotional development. Instead Cynthia made the disastrous mistake of inviting Will as her date to Kandi’s party. And NeNe made the fortuitous decision to bring Eva as her ‘date’.
By the time Kandi’s party rolled around, I wasn’t expecting any good to come of her great accomplishment. And the party was a war zone.
Porsha came with Shamea, and Kandi had DonJuan acting like a body guard, peeping out the window and announcing on the walkie-talkie, WARNING: EVIL IS IN THE BUILDING. GET THE SHADE SHIELDS UP. Porsha seemed scared about why she was invited and cowered on the sofa until Shamea made her say an awkward hello. Also Kim was there. Why? Wigs & Cigs planned to ignore Kenya and NeNe. Which worked out because NeNe has a plan to ignore Kim and Sheree Whitfield. Sheree wore jeans like she didn’t understand what type of event this was.
I don’t understand what kind of event this was either – it was supposed to be about celebrating Kandi, but it was all about everyone else! Todd even made his speech to Kandi all about how she has risen above people (ahem, Porsha and Kim) who tried to drag her down. Then Kandi got up and echoed the same ‘look at me now losers!’ memo. Kim is confused – she thought giving Kandi partial credit and payment for Don’t Be Tardy only elevated her career?!
More importantly, Eva had news. On the way to the party she told NeNe that she knows Will. In fact, Eva met him two months ago at a mayoral fundraiser which Will attended with a woman he introduced as his ‘girlfriend’. This is significant because around that same time Will started seeing Cynthia. Meanwhile at the party, Will tells Cynthia he’s been single for about “2.5 years”.
As Cynthia is basking in his attention, Eva is running around informing everyone that she recently met his girlfriend. A girlfriend who is also very close with Will’s daughter. Surprise, Surprise – Kandi’s friend Carmon also heard ‘on the streets’ that he has a lady. Something has to be done! A plan is hatched to tell Cynthia that Will is playing her. Which is so sad, because the only thing Fifty Cyn doesn’t want to happen in her life is to get played. Again.
Kenya apparently decides that being a married woman now gives her jurisdiction over how relationships work and she seizes the opportunity to run to Cynthia to warn her about the gossip. NeNe is annoyed – SHE was the one who brought this gossip to the party, and Kenya is not going to be the one taking the credit. Before NeNe can even get there, Kenya has already made her way to Will to warn him too. A distressed Cynthia asks Will directly and he insists it’s a lie – but then out comes Eva to make a mess into downright hazmat!
Once Eva confronts Will it’s pretty obvious he’s fibbing. He makes it seem like he was ‘casually dating’ this woman, but broke up with her about the time he started ‘casually dating’ Cynthia. Except he’s tripping over his words and accounts and becomes very agitated. Eva has receipts from the evening on her phone and insists she has no reason to lie.
Kenya and NeNe back Eva’s tale because this is for Cynthia’s own good! Cynthia sputters through trying to press him for details like why this woman knows his child, but looks like she’s trying not to cry. After it’s clear he can’t squirm his way out, Will just walks away, leaving Cynthia standing there heart-broken and crestfallen to defend her latest bad relationship.
Just when Cynthia thinks it couldn’t possibly get worse, Porsha comes over to see what’s wrong. Cynthia insists she wants to know any and all information compromising Will, so in that case Porsha happens to know something too! Something to be continued… Does anyone believe anything Porsha says after last year? Time will tell! And so will Mama Joyce, who informs Porsha that she needs to clear her schedule for a meeting with the Big Mama.
Also, in the middle of all this mayhem, in rolled Peachter, Peachter Bank Account Eater. He had to size up his competition in Will, but he bounced immediately. Even though Todd tried to pry him back inside. Deciding not to blow-up Cynthia’s date is about the only honorable think Peter has ever done on this show.
TELL US – SHOULD EVERYONE STAY OUT OF CYNTHIA’S RELATIONSHIP, OR ARE THEY BEING GOOD FRIENDS? IS SOMETHING WEIRD ABOUT KENYA’S HUSBAND?

Kristen Doute Opens Up About Getting Along With Ariana Madix & Lala Kent
It is so difficult keeping track of the friendships on Vanderpump Rules. No matter what happens or what they say about each other, you never know where these people stand with each other on any given day. These cast members have to be the most forgiving people on the planet.
Kristen Doute never got along with Ariana Madix or Lala Kent in the past, but now she’s cool with both of them. Ariana started dating Kristen’s ex boyfriend and Kristen invited a girl that he allegedly hooked up with all the way from Miami to show up at SUR in Los Angeles and now these two are getting along after years of shading each other. Kristen and Lala never had a chance at friendship thanks to everyone else’s drama. Now, Kristen is on good terms with them and she opened up about that in a recent interview.
In an interview on the Conversations with Maria Menounos podcast, Kristen discussed the rumors about Robert Valletta cheating on Scheana and why she and Brittany Cartwright decided to tell Scheana about it right before a party.
Kristen said, “I’ll be very transparent about what happened. The night before I was at Brittany‘s house helping her get ready and this was off camera. Brittany was drunk and shaking with this news being like ‘I have to call Scheana’ and this is one o’clock in the morning. We’re looking at social media and I’m like ‘Brittany, she’s out with friends. You cannot just drop this bomb on her in a text message when she’s out and about and there’s nothing she can do about it.'”
She continued, “Jax [Taylor] told us that he was going to drop this bomb at the party and announce it in front of everyone. That’s standard Jax.” Plus he probably wanted to take the spotlight away from is own cheating scandal at the time. Kristen claimed, “He was so excited to be the one to tell it in front of everybody and embarrass her. We were like ‘No, we’re not letting this happen.'”
Kristen was asked, “It seems like you and Ariana are a lot closer than you used to be, or at least getting along. Is that true?” She admitted, “I know. It’s like the Twilight Zone, right? It’s so weird. If you follow us both on Twitter, I feel like she tweets me more than my best friends do. I would say we’re friendly, I wouldn’t say friends, but we’re friendly – which feels really, really great to not have all that animosity between us since we are around each other so often.”
She also explained her changed stance on Lala. Kristen said, “I love Lala. Once she apologized to Katie [Maloney] on the reunion – that was my beef with Lala. Yeah, I gave her ten times the hell about her boyfriend last year and we were all kind of assholes to each other, all of the girls.” She continued, “They apologized. I have given her the chance to actually get to know her and I love her. We hang out pretty often. I went on the PJ – the one thing we said we would never do.” I don’t blame her, who would turn down a private jet?
Kristen also revealed that she, Ariana, and everyone else had a really good time on that private jet to Vegas, and she theorized, “It was strange. Jax and Scheana were not there and we all got along.” Shade thrown.
