The ratings are in, and it’s official. Love Island USA is a hit!

The higher-ups at Peacock are doing a victory lap right now, bragging about their massive ratings wins. They just announced that the new season of Love Island USA is the number one reality show across streaming. Everyone should be thanking Ariana Madix.

Season 6 of Love Island USA premiered on Peacock on June 11, and since then, it has consistently been ranked by Neilsen as one of the top 10 reality shows on streaming. That news should make Netflix very scared because they’ve been pushing hard on the reality TV front this summer with new seasons of The Mole and Perfect Match.

Obviously, some of Love Island USA’s recent success can be attributed to the newfound connection to the Vanderpump Rules universe. Tons of VPR fans tuned into Love Island specifically to see Ariana. Then, she showed up to the hosting gig in these sexy unique outfits and won over the rest of America.

Of course, it’s not like Love Island USA was flopping before Ariana. Seasons 4 and 5 on Peacock have also been successful. They’re still streaming on Peacock, along with a handful of other spinoffs and international editions.

With that said, there’s just something about Season 6 that’s just extra special. Ariana is there. The Islanders are extra messy. It’s like they’ve finally perfected the recipe for this edition of the franchise.

The success of Love Island USA is just the latest in Peacock’s reality TV takeover. Deal or No Deal Island and The Traitors have also been huge wins for the streamer. They’re on fire with no signs of slowing down, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
