Big Brother 20 Spoilers: Week 8 Power of Veto Competition Results (08/18/18)

Scottie Salton needs to win this Big Brother 20 Power of Veto competition. Current Head of Household Faysal Shafaat wants him out of the Big Brother house because he doesn’t trust Scottie. The fact that they both have romantic interest in Haleigh Broucher also adds to the tension between them. Tyler Crispen and Level 6 also want Scottie out of the game because they don’t trust him, and they view him as a competition threat. This week of Big Brother 20 has turned into Scottie vs the house.

Haleigh and Scottie have been close allies for most of the Big Brother game. She considers him one of her best friend in the game. Haleigh and Faysal have been close allies–with trust issues–the entire game. They’re also in a showmance. So this week presents an interesting dilemma for Haleigh if she wins the Power of Veto competition.

Will she choose to save her best friend against her showmance partner’s wishes? Will she sacrifice her friend to not upset her loyal ally and romantic interest? This is the Days of Our Big Brother 20.

Prior to this week’s Power of Veto ceremony, the houseguests picked Veto players. Scottie got houseguest’s choice and picked Haleigh. The rest of the players drawn were Angela Rummans and Tyler. Tyler, Angela, Haleigh, Scottie, Brett Robinson, Faysal will all be playing for Veto. Kaycee Clark will be the host.

Vegas4Sure, the Big Brother spoiler account, revealed that along with Zingbot, this week’s Veto will be the Hide-N-Seek one. From the past, this one was more luck based. It all depended on whether you picked a better hiding spot than your neighbor. With Hide-N-Seek plus the Zingbot insults, tonight should be an interesting one.

Gizelle Bryant Says “Monique Samuels Has Spent Her Entire RHOP Career Being A Social Media Bully”

We are one episode into the Real Housewives of Potomac Season 3 reunion and Karen Huger already had a tearful walk out. She just lost her father and she’s still dodging questions from Gizelle Bryant and the other Housewives about whether or not she actually lives in her Great Falls mansion.

Aside from Karen’s drama stealing the show (as per usual), Gizelle and Monique Samuels continued to go at it. It doesn’t seem like these two will ever be friends, but there just might be some hope for Gizelle and Karen. Gizelle is the only cast member who ran after Karen when she stepped away from filming.

Gizelle shared her insight on Part 1 of the reunion in a Bravo blog. She opened up with, “Monique Samuels has spent her entire RHOP career being a social media bully. I don’t and can’t understand how she thinks that friendships can be formed when social media is used to tear down and attempt to destroy the characters of her fellow Housewives.” Monique still doesn’t get why it was so offensive when her fan page (ran by her own brother) posted memes making fun of Robyn Dixon.

Gizelle declared, “I can’t respect that kind of behavior.”

Gizelle Bryant Did Not See Any Signs That Karen Huger Actually Lives In Her Home

Monique actually referred to Robyn as Gizelle’s “puppy” during the reunion. Gizelle insists that’s not the case, writing, “Robyn Dixon and I are FRIENDS, ride or die. Anyone who keeps questioning it clearly doesn’t have friends or knows the concept of friendship.”

And then she hit Monique with this insult: “As soon as Monique is able to maintain a friendship for more than five minutes then I guess she will understand.” Ouch.

Even after all of the insults, Monique still seemed hopeful that she and Gizelle can become friends somehow. Gizelle said, “If Monique owns what she has done and sincerely apologizes then maybe we can get to another place. Not a second before.”

Gizelle and Monique are at a moot point, but Gizelle does have some compassion for Karen. She explained, “I knew Karen in that moment was extremely sensitive because of the loss of her father so I was trying to be respectful. However, I needed to remind her that friendship is a two way street, the road was closed and I didn’t close it.”

Gizelle did “remind” Karen that friendship is a two way street- which did not go well-  but she is the only one who ran after Karen when she stormed off the reunion stage.

Gizelle explained, “I knew Karen in that moment was extremely sensitive because of the loss of her father so I was trying to be respectful. However, I needed to remind her that friendship is a two way street, the road was closed and I didn’t close it.”

Gizelle concluded, “I hate to see anyone suffer. I knew Karen was fragile and I didn’t want her to be alone. I just wanted to tell her, girl you can handle ALL this. Dry your tears, state your case and let’s all go home and have a drink.”

If only it was that simple. There’s still a lot more rehashing and shade throwing to come during this reunion taping.

Big Brother 20 Spoilers: Live Feeds Day 59 Highlights: The Hive Targets Its Own

Yesterday, Faysal Shafaat finally had the power to alter the Big Brother 20 game. All season, he’s been in the dark when it comes to who has control of the game, and who is making many of the major decisions. Faysal could have used this week to get the numbers more in his favor. Instead, he decided to take out one of his Big Brother allies.

Faysal made sure to try to get some numbers on his side. He started yesterday by speaking to Tyler Crispen, Kaycee Clark, and Angela Rummans. He told them that he would keep them safe this week in exchange for them not targeting him next week. Of course, they agreed to it. However, we highly doubt they’ll really stick to this deal with Faysal.

A newly sober Haleigh Broucher tries to stop Faysal from nominating Scottie Salton from eviction. She makes repeat attempts to get him to see how evicting Scottie makes them more vulnerable to the other side of the Big Brother 20 house. There is no getting through to Faysal. Scottie even breaks down how Brett Robinson has been safe at every eviction vote.

He tells Faysal his theory on the six person alliance that includes Brett. This conversation between Scottie and Faysel seems to get through to Faysal but it happens right before nominations, so things continue on course. Later, Faysal tells Haleigh that he didn’t believe Scottie’s pitch, and he’s not sure what to do if nominations change, because he wants to make a new deal with Tyler and Angela.

Sam Bledsoe and Brett finally have a discussion about her crush on him. She tells him that she believed that he liked her as well, but was keeping it a secret. Sam also pledges her game loyalty to him. The two decide to make a final two deal. Sam’s eventful night continues when she eats some tuna that has hemp seeds.

The night day ends early for the Big Brother 20 houseguests. If rumors are true, that’s a good thing because tonight’s Veto will be an intense one.
