News has...Just in case you were wondering, Brittany Cartwright is still making sandwiches for Jax Taylor, ya’ll! Despite rumors that the Vanderpump Rules stars had broken up post-filming of their spinoff, they’re confirming otherwise. And I guess that’s a good thing, because their new show, Vanderpump Rules: Jax And Brittany Take Kentucky, looks to hinge on the Big Question: i.e., will lifetime bachelor, Jax Taylor, propose?
In a recent interview, Jax reassured viewers that despite their engagement status remaining a mystery, he and Brittany are definitely not broken up. “You definitely can (put the kibosh on that rumor),” he said. “Don’t read those [blogs]!”
Jax told the Huffington Post that they’ll be plenty of arguments aired on their upcoming spinoff, but “things get magnified differently because we’re on TV.”
Then why did the couple unfollow each other on social media? some asked. Brittany scoffed at viewers who wondered if their relationship had ended, calling it “crazy,” while Jax piled on that it just “comes with the territory for us with the show. They are bored and I guess there were no stories that day.”

Hmm. Something’s not adding up. Unless they’re Taylor Swift hyping up a new album via messing with their social media platforms, it seems a bit fishy to cut each other off on social media – only to laugh at people who question this move. Then again, I don’t think I’d like to get into the mind of Jax for too long thinking about this. It’s messy and confusing in there!
Just a few days ago, Jax refuted press that surmised he and Brittany were calling it quits. He tweeted, “Nope we are good, relationships always have ups and downs and in our world an argument means the world is ending.”
Jax added that he and Brittany were actually sitting on the couch at the moment, thinking of what to order for dinner. (Sandwiches!?)

The easiest way to piss off your reality TV co-stars? Land yourself a spinoff that doesn't include any of them. And as Jax Taylor tells it, when he and girlfriend Brittany Cartwright...It is amazing how a simple set of events can completely alter a Big Brother 19 players game and fate. For several weeks Jason Dent was high in our Big Brother 19 ranks. No one would dare take out Whistlenut. However, a strange combination of Cody Nickson’s final lie, his new dad status, and spewing too much information has made him number 1 on the Big Brother 19 hit list.
Other players who had been playing the middle ground all season, are finally starting to merge as contenders for the Big Brother 19 crown. So how did everyone’s position in the Big Brother 19 game change this week?

09-Mark
Oh poor Mark Jansen. He has been fighting hard this Big Brother 19 week, but it just doesn’t seem like anyone is willing to make a big move and save him. We fully expect Mark to walk out those Big Brother doors on Thursday night.
08-Jason
Just a week ago, Jason Dent ranked number 1 on our power ranking. He has made a lot of poor game decisions, which has lead to him being so high on the other houseguest’s target list. Basically all the reasons players wanted him out in week 1 has returned to haunt him. Jason maybe should prepare his face for that slap Cody will give him for not heeding his warning.
07-Alex
The only reason Alex Ow isn’t in Jason’s ranking spot is that her loyalty to Paul Abrahamian is finally coming into play. Many of the Big Brother 19 houseguests want Alex out before Jason. She is smarter, better at controlling people, and good at these competition. Paul knows Alex’s value to him, so he will fight to keep her around a little longer.
06-Matt
Matt Clines has done nothing in the Big Brother 19 game (as Zingbot would say, ‘except Raven Walton). Therefore, he should be riding the coaster train all the way to the end, but Matt looks physical. His appearance and closeness to Raven (who Paul may want to take to the end for a guaranteed victory) has hurt his game. Matt hasn’t shown himself to be a physical or mental competition threat, but people fear he may be throwing competition. This makes them afraid Matt could start going on a winning streak if left in the game too long.
05-Kevin
Kevin Schlehuber is one of the few players who improved his position this week. No one trusts Kevin, and he has become the new black sheep of the house. He gets blamed for things, dissed behind his back, and discussed as the next target. However, Paul still sees value in taking Kevin to the final five. Kevin’s lack of competition wins seems to have really helped his game.
04-Raven
The houseguests often bond over how annoying they find Raven. Now, they are even starting to suspect that she lies about her life. Raven has become so unlikable among the houseguests that her chances of winning Big Brother 19 are at the near 0 position. However, Raven’s unlikability is just why the house will keep her around. She’s a player that all of them can beat in the end.
03-Josh
Josh Martinez has fallen off everyone’s radar. His four biggest game enemies, Jessica Graf, Cody, Elena Davies, and now Mark have left the game back-to-back-to-back. This eliminates all of the players who would have removed Josh from the game. If he continues to play the slightly dumb, but likable, meatball game, Josh should go ahead and write his name on the $50,000 check.
02-Christmas
The only reason Christmas Abbott ranks a little higher than Josh this week is her injury. At least one of the final Head of Household competition will be physical. This eliminates Christmas from being able to compete in it. This guarantees that the other two houseguests will end up facing off in the fInal part of the HOH comp. It would almost be a silly move to take out Christmas before final 3.
01-Paul
It’s Paul’s game and we’re just watching it. Paul’s ranking and power just grows by the week. This week, he has placed himself firmly as the third wheel between three pairs. They will be too busy taking shots at each other to even notice Paul slip on by to the end and win. Paul has almost hit checkmate with the game. However, we all know that one small event can have a ripple to change the game. It’s not too late for this to happen to Paul, but we don’t expect it to happen.

A pretty blonde walks into a tiki bar... Bachelor in Paradise has a new fan-favorite couple after Tuesday's episode, and in a twist, one of the people isn't an official cast...I’m pretty sure that Shannon Beador has said that she’s “done” with Vicki Gunvalson and wants nothing to do with her at least once during every Real Housewives of Orange County episode this season. On one hand, that’s completely understandable given all the shit that’s gone down between them. On the other hand, she could leave the show if she really wants to avoid Vicki.
Fortunately for Shannon, this last episode was way better for her than the first few from this season. Throwing a plate full of food at a restaurant and getting into a screaming match at a toddler’s birthday party were not the best looks for her, so I don’t blame her for chilling out a little bit after all that went down.
Shannon shared her view on the episode in her Bravo blog. She wrote, “There is a lot going on this episode that I am seeing for the first time. Vicki’s comments about me? She lies so much it’s just become second nature to her.”
What did Vicki say this episode that was so offensive? Maybe I missed it (since this season is a total snooze fest so far and I was probably zoned out), but the only thing that stands out to me is Vicki dismissing Shannon’s (ridiculous) claim that she’s responsible for her weight gain.
Shannon also shared her thoughts on Tamra Judge’s tough relationship with her mom from the last episode: “It is so heartbreaking to hear the conversation between Tamra and her mother. Tamra’s entire family has endured so much suffering. I just can’t comprehend how they handle the incredible pain. I have nothing but utter admiration for my good friend’s strength and faith that everything will work out someday.”
Shannon pointed out, “One thing I’ve learned this season…if I ever order a drink or take a bite of food, you’re going to see it! Joy.” Yep. Ever since her weight gain became central to her story line, the cameramen have been super shady zooming in every single time Shannon takes a bite of food.
Shannon continued to rant about Vicki wrote, “I want to be clear. I have no intent of trying to intimidate Vicki. The idea is ridiculous. I just want nothing to do with her and it’s clear from this episode that she wants the same. Finally we are on the same page.”
Then why are they both on this show? They’re going to have to talk eventually. Aren’t they contractually obligated to interact?
Shannon discussed Lydia McLaughlin’s awkward party for her magazine: “And then we move on to me looking obsessed with food. Lydia didn’t have to worry about me throwing a plate because if she did provide food, I certainly didn’t see it. Diko [Sulahian] actually ordered food for all of us because we were hungry.”
Was there really no food at this party? If that’s the case, then it would be the ultimate travesty from the episode.
Shannon laid into Lydia: “Glad that I came to help support a woman that thinks it’s ok to continually call me crazy without even getting to know me. Talking unkindly behind my back has become fairly routine for some of these women, but you always know where you stand with me.”

Even though it was reported everywhere that Meghan Edmonds would not be returning to Real Housewives of Orange County this season, she is back. She didn’t interact with any other cast members for the first three episodes, but she is back and even she thinks this season is boring.
And that is something most of us can agree on. Minus Shannon Beador’s iconic plate toss, this season has been a total snooze. Hopefully it picks up.
In an interview for the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast, Meghan was asked, “Did you change your mind about coming on the show?” Good question, since it was highly reported that she wasn’t returning and the edit of the first few episodes this season made it very clear that she wasn’t interacting with the cast at that time.
Meghan said, “The reason I wasn’t on the first few episodes is because I didn’t want to travel with Aspen until she had all of her shots. I had her in St. Louis and there was an outbreak of I think Measles going around in St. Louis.”
Then, Meghan finally admitted, “But you’re right. I had said I wasn’t going to back and after having her I was like ‘Oh my god. Get me out of the house. I need to do something.’ And so I called the big bosses and was like ‘I want to come back. I just want to be back. I’ll do anything. I’ll beg. I’ll grovel. I just want to be back.’ And they’re like ‘We thought you didn’t want to,’ and I’m like ‘Yeah me too, but here I am.'”
I wonder how much of that decision to bring Meghan back had to do with Heather Dubrow’s seemingly subtle departure? After all Heather’s name was in everyone’s mouth for the first few episodes and Meghan’s wasn’t. Did they have no idea who was actually coming back to the show? Just wondering.
But anyway, love Meghan or not, everyone has to admit that she’s speaking for all the fans when she admitted, “I’m just hoping that this season picks up a little bit.” Same here, Meghan. Same, here. She continued to read my mind when she said, “I think it’s kind of weird that it’s so bifurcated the groups on the show. Is that weird to viewers too?” Kate Casey responded, “It doesn’t seem like any of you are really friends.” Exactly! It does not feel like a united show at all, just a bunch of separate lives rolled into one show with very little overlap.
Nevertheless, Meghan insisted, “I’m like this with Tamra [Judge] and Shannon. Tamra just texted me.”
When Kate said, “I don’t think the new Housewife Peggy [Sulahian] is interesting,” Meghan immediately said, “I don’t either.” Meghan might not bring the most excitement to this show, but her commentary is pretty on point in all honesty. Meghan continued, “Peggy is totally random I feel like. At least Lydia [McLaughlin] has connections to the group.”
Eh. I don’t know about that. Lydia’s “connection” to this group is a stretch too. It’s pretty obvious Lydia did not keep in touch with Tamra and Vicki Gunvalson when she left the show after her first season. Nevertheless, I do agree with Meghan when she said, “I just feel like Peggy was thrown in randomly.”
And once again Meghan pointed out how boring this season is when she said, “It’s been on forever and there’s something that keeps people coming back for more, even if it is boring.” Let’s hope it picks up. I’ll be watching it every week either way, but it would be nice to be entertained since I’m so committed to watching this show.
