Why Erika Jayne’s Complaints Will Always Fall on Deaf Ears

Erika Jayne of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is not the easiest housewife to feel sympathetic for. With songs like “Xxpensive,” it is hard to understand the mother of one’s true plight when it seemed like so much of her life was spent living in the lap of luxury. Yes, so she bartended in a Hackensack strip club, but this employment doesn’t automatically grant her a people of the world card. Erika has yet to figure out how to sell that she is, in fact, a victim in her own life. Instead, Erika Jayne’s complaints have grown tiresome for Bravo fans.

Season 12 showed Erika in a disturbing light, as she drank too much and spoke her truth. Bravo cameras caught her talking callously about the victims of her ex-husband, Tom Girardi‘s scams. Without a flicker of remorse, Erika put herself first and alienated those around her who were trying to be her support system.

Erika Isn’t Hurting for Cash

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 showed Erika downsizing from her Pasadena mansion. The singer’s old abode had a private church and lavish grounds, but Erika’s new home is much smaller. However, it’s still more than most viewers could ever afford. While Erika was often getting upset about her lack of finances, there were still times she had her Glam Squad around. As anyone who is anyone knows, a professional squad doesn’t come cheap.

Erika also made a living by working as a lingerie ambassador for Savage Fenty, Rihanna‘s clothing line. Even though Erika’s six months contract has not been renewed, she did make a pretty penny and even appeared in the company’s second fashion show. Even amid all the legal woes, Erika seemed to handle herself just fine, even if she had to repeat an outfit or two.

Erika Landed a Las Vegas Residency

It almost feels like Erika is being rewarded for her bad behavior over the last few months. And even though she may not be guilty of aiding Tom, fans still feel she is a major villain in the 90210 franchise.

The blonde bombshell announced her Las Vegas residency in April, with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans having mixed reactions. The main question is how can Erika get up on stage and sing about living such an exquisite life when she was given most of her money from Tom? And frankly, who is buying a ticket?

Erika Loves Explicit Language

Erika Jayne/Instagram

Without a doubt, Erika lives her life unapologetically and genuinely doesn’t seem to care what others think of her. However, some language doesn’t sit well with followers. Now when Erika complains about her issues, it is hard for viewers to take her seriously because, for multiple seasons, she came across as an ice queen.

Erika Is a Bully

Erika Jayne/Instagram

No one in their right mind roots or ever feels sorry for a bully. Erika has taken extra time to pick on housewives who she deems less than her. For instance, Season 11 showed her going after Sutton Stracke to the point where she came across as threatening. During a dinner at Kathy Hilton‘s home, Erika became so enraged that she told her fellow Georgia Peach to “shut the fu*k up.” It is hard to empathize with a woman who comes across as mean and doesn’t find it hard to treat people in her inner circle badly.

Erika’s Divorce Feels Like a Sham

Erika Jayne/Instagram

Even though Erika claimed to give “zero fu*ks” years ago, these past few years have shown that Erika knows how to play the PR game. While she denied any involvement with Tom’s scandals, she also didn’t exactly speak out in her own defense. Instead, she often clapped back on social media, making her look even worse. Erika announced her separation on Election Day, probably hoping the information would get lost in the news cycle.

Even though it makes sense that Erika’s hands are tied, as she is following the advice of her lawyers, some, including co-stars Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna, felt that she could have acknowledged the victims. Overall, Erika’s minuscule complaints will continue to be ignored unless she really comes across as remorseful, which we highly doubt will happen.

Real Housewives With the Best Style Sense

Fashion is everything these days. Heck, fashion has always been a meaningful way to express one’s self through style and flair. The women of Real Housewives take their looks to a whole new level, which some viewers could only dream of. When the first show, Real Housewives of Orange County, premiered in 2006, the ladies used their own spandex dresses or business attire to film their confessionals. Thankfully, much has changed in the last 16 years, and the women’s fashion tips have improved, for the most part.

Between animal prints, feathers, bedazzled jewels, and Giovanni dresses, the trends have changed as quickly as some of the Real Housewives stars’ loyalty. There have always been a few Bravo personalities who like to take the risk and wear something daring. But there have also been some who enjoy the understated look. Either way, the franchises, at times, could be a runway show in their own right, as the women flaunt what they got. These are the most stylish Real Housewives who regularly turn heads with their fashion sense.

Marlo Hampton

Marlo Hampton/Instagram

The ‘friend of’ turned Real Housewives of Atlanta star has always had a strong fashion game. The self-proclaimed fashionista never steps out in the same outfit twice. Marlo Hampton is making her mark on Atlanta as the peach who can’t stop, no, won’t stop showing off and out. Marlo’s ability to accessorize is one of her God-given gifts. She doesn’t often ignores the advice of Coco Chanel, especially when it comes to taking one item off before leaving home.

Marlo dressed for the occasion since she stepped foot into the Real Housewives world and gets to snag designer exclusives. Viewers were jealous as the current season showed Marlo driving up to the luxury mall and having her items placed into her car without breaking a sweat. It also doesn’t hurt that Marlo founded Le’Archive, a warehouse full of her own clothes that she lends out for movies and galas.

Erika Jayne

Erika Jayne/Instagram

Love her or hate her, Erika Jayne can commit to an outfit, making her one of the most stylish Real Housewives. While the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star often goes above and beyond with a fashion choice, she always makes her theme work. Erika owns the 90210 franchise thanks to her fashion, whether she is aiming to look like a Barbie doll or a Parisian in Amsterdam. Erika is also not afraid to embrace her sexy side.

The 52-year-old has no problem showing off a bit of skin in the name of fashion. Throughout the years, she has worn min skirts, lingerie, and even a skintight latex bodysuit. Erika can spend hours getting ready with her glam squad. However, she doesn’t mind because she’s made it clear that it’s expensive to be her. Now, newly single and performing in Las Vegas, there is no doubt Erika will be stepping up her fashion game.

Dorit Kemsley

Dorit Kemsley/Instagram

Dorit Kemsley will be late for any function as long as the lighting is good to photograph her outfit of the day. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills housewife is known for her love of designer outfits, often choosing to wear a whole look made by just one luxury name like Dior, Chanel, or Louis Vuitton. Dorit’s distinctive eye for fashion captivated viewers when she joined the show in 2016, and she hasn’t disappointed since.

Dorit also knows the fashion industry inside out, thanks to launching her own line, Beverly Beach by Doirt. It isn’t hard to tell that the mother of two has a genuine love for her threads, as her passion for fashion often shines through her photos. Half the viewers tune in to see which outfit Dorit will wear next, as she isn’t afraid to try something new. It’s no wonder Dorit is often called one of the most stylish Real Housewives.

Karen Huger

Karen Huger/Instagram

The Grand Dame of Real Housewives of Potomac is no stranger to pulling together a good outfit. Karen Huger‘s fashion sense has come a long way, especially with her wigs. It could be argued that Karen dresses the best for her age and knows how to complement her body shape.

With a mixed sense of old and new money, Karen often combines looks that are vintage and right off the runway. Like many housewives, Karen also enjoys attending New York Fashion Week to get a few ideas on improving her closet.

Every Season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Ranked

90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days is one of the most unique 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs, that follows couples before their K-1 visa journeys begin. Before The 90 Days premiered in 2017, and has been a huge success with viewers ever since. While Season 6 just began airing, Before The 90 Days has supplied fans with five long seasons worth of content. Some seasons have been a huge success, although others have not been as enticing for viewers.

Before The 90 Days Season 1

TLC/YouTube

Before The 90 Days Season 1 was a fun introduction to a new concept, but in the grand scheme of things, it falls short in comparison to the other seasons. Many of the couples from Season 1 were boring, and lacked real substance in their storylines. One of the most frustrating duos from Season 1 was Patrick Cornett and Myriam Mana, who were not even a real couple, since Myriam had a boyfriend.

Season 1 was the first time viewers were introduced to the iconic Darcey Silva, way back when she was with Jesse Meester. While Darcey has blown up in the franchise since then, Jesse was particularly difficult and annoying for viewers to watch. Another tiresome couples featured on Season 1 was Paul Staehle and Karine Staehle, who were never able to win over fans.

Before The 90 Days Season 5

TLC/YouTube

While Before The 90 Days Season 5 may be the most recent full season of the spin-off, it does not mean that it is among the best. Season 5 featured several boring couples, many of whose storylines felt repetitive. The only couple to stay together from Season 5 was surprisingly Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda, who also undoubtedly carried the season.

Mike Berk and Ximena Morales had potential, but things quickly fell apart when Ximena admitted that she did not really love Mike. Usman Umar returned with newcomer Kim Menzies after appearing on Before The 90 Days Season 4, although their story quickly became tedious. The most frustrating couple from the season was Ella Johnson and Johnny Chao, who viewers were initially rooting for before Ella revealed that she had cheated on Johnny.

Before The 90 Days Season 2

TLC/YouTube

Before The 90 Days Season 2 featured some of the same couples as Season 1, including Darcey and Jesse and Paul and Karine, but it was still a big improvement. Season 2 introduced viewers to Tarik Myers and Hazel Cagalitan, whose storyline included some memorable moments when Tarik visited Hazel in the Philippines for the first time.

The best part about Season 2, however, was the debut of the one and only Angela Deem, and of course Michael Ilesanmi. Angela and Michael went on to become one of the most well known couples from the franchise. While Angela is often controversial, there is no doubt that she still makes for interesting television.

Before The 90 Days Season 3

(TLC/YouTube)

Season 3 was even more exciting than Season 2, and introduced a good mix of new couples for viewers to root for. Angela and Michael returned for Season 3, where Angela threw the infamous cake at Michael, in a truly unforgettable scene. Darcey also returned for Season 3, but with a new man, her English beau Tom Brooks. While Tom could be annoying at times, he was far more bearable than Jesse.

One of the most interesting couples introduced this season was Rebecca Parrott and her Tunisian love Zied Hakimi. Rebecca and Zied’s age gap originally had viewers unsure that they would last, but the couple certainly proved fans wrong. Zied proposed to Rebecca in one of the season’s most heartfelt moments, and the two later appeared on 90 Day Fiancé Season 8.

Before The 90 Days Season 4

(TLC/YouTube)

When it comes to Before The 90 Days, there is just no question that Season 4 is the best of the best. Season 4 was the debut of Ed Brown, who goes down in history as one of the most infamous 90 Day Fiancé cast members. Ed traveled to the Philippines to meet his girlfriend Rosemarie Vega, although the two ultimately ended things after a heated argument.

Usman was also introduced during Season 4, with his ex-wife Lisa Hamme, and their story was much funnier than his later segments with Kim. Stephanie Matto and Erika Owens also appeared on Season 4, and made history as the couple’s first LGBTQ couple. Season 4 also mainly aired during the COVID-19 pandemic, and certainly gave viewers some good laughs while they were bored at home.

Below Deck Adventure’s Most Valuable Players

Below Deck Adventure‘s inaugural season was announced on Bravo on September 7, 2022, with its first episode premiering on November 1, 2022. This new series comes in as the 4th spin-off within the Below Deck franchise, after Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Below Deck Down Under.

Unlike its predecessors, Below Deck Adventure tacks on extreme adventures to each guest charter. The crew of this spin-off then joins the guests on said excursions, putting aside their differences found below deck to ensure great memories are made.

The greatest aspect of this spinoff was found within the scenery. If the Fjords of Norway could compete for the most valuable player(s), it would win. Often times, the charter guests and crew alike found themselves at a standstill on the aft deck, taking in the sights as the yacht sailed between moorings.

Regarding the chosen crew members, heated issues popped up often. With threatening behavior that led to a firing, arrogance (and fighting) over higher rankings within departments, and frequent blow-ups in the galley, this season failed to maintain high viewership.

That said, a handful of the cast did stand out for their efforts while onboard motor yacht Mercury. Should Below Deck Adventure get renewed for a Season 2, these faces are the ones we’d most like to see return.

For Season 1, in addition to the landscape(s), here are Below Deck Adventure’s most valuable players.

Nathan Morley

Bravo/YouTube

Nathan Morley hails from the Bahamas, lending to his love of the sea. His career within international waters started at the age of 18. According to his BravoTV bio, Nathan “walked into a marina and jokingly asked a captain for a job. When the captain said yes, the rest was history.”

This 2017 event paid off for Nathan in terms of a long-term career with travel perks. Appearing as a deckhand on this latest Below Deck Spin-off, Nathan quickly emerged as one of the most likable crew members this season.

Unfortunately, Nathan found himself the subject of abusive behaviors during the first three episodes. After a drunken crew night out, fellow deckhand Kyle Dickard berated Nathan. Following this incidence, Kyle refused to flush a toilet within their shared cabin. When asked to do so, Kyle threatened Nathan in an incredibly uncomfortable scene.

Once Kyle was asked to resign from the boat, Nathan’s true persona shone. Always cheerful and down to entertain the guests, Nathan’s love for others and his job was apparent.

After falling down a flight of stairs onboard and injuring his leg, Nathan’s smile and positivity remained (minus a few painful grimaces).

When asked to take off his shirt and dance for one particular charter, Nathan jumped right in, saying, “I’d do anything for my guests.”

Throughout the season, Nathan posted many images of himself enjoying life with the guests and the crew. When the season wrapped, he even posted a thoughtful shout out to production for their hard work behind the scenes.

For all of these things, he’s one of Below Deck Adventure’s most valuable players, and we need more of Nathan.

Captain Kerry Titheradge

Kerry Titheradge/Instagram

Captain Kerry Titheradge led his crew fairly and firmly from Mercury’s wheelhouse. A self-described “adventure junkie,” this new series role combined Kerry’s love of the sea and extreme sports perfectly. He easily earns the title of one of Below Deck Adventure’s most valuable players.

Though Captain Kerry received some flack over his firing of Kyle (he persuaded Kyle to resign over being fired), his ability to crack jokes and ease tensions was great to watch.

In addition, Captain Kerry never micromanaged his crew and he gelled well with the guests.

Captain Kerry might actually be returning to our screens sooner rather than later, as he is rumored to be replacing Captain Lee Rosbach on the original Below Deck series for Season 11. Captain Lee’s firing was a tough pill to swallow (insert a maritime law joke here), but Captain Kerry is definitely a great option to take over in his absence.

Faye Clarke

Faye Clarke/Instagram

Leading the interior department as the Chief Stew was Faye Clarke. Faye put a lot of pressure on herself this season to always over perform. A perfectionist of sorts, Faye made sure that there were always more than enough activities and “nibbles” for the guests to partake in, on and off of the boat.

This level of organization irked some of the crew, so Faye began to slink back on her demands. It resulted in many unsung “I told you so’s” when guests found their food or activities lacking during charters. The only pitfall Faye made was demanding that her team always have their hair down and makeup on when guests were onboard. Shortly after, a guest found hair in their food.

Hopefully this was a lesson learned that will not be repeated.

With a fun-loving spirit, an organized way of leading, and a bubbly personality, Faye’s leadership held her team together. Gracious was she tired by the end, however.

For the record, Stewardess Kasie Faddah‘s ever changing accent was also a valuable player this season. It was giving Dorit Kemsley.
