Lisa Vanderpump had a lot of support last night in L.A. as she premiered the new “The Road to Yulin and Beyond” documentary, held at Regal LA Live Stadium 14. Lisa’s co-stars on both The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules showed up for the event. The premiere was part of the Awareness Film Festival opening night.

Change is never easy. That's a given. But big change is coming to Once Upon a Time when it returns for season seven on Friday, Oct. 6. And not everyone's thrilled about it. All...It’s a new day in the Garden State, and that means everyone is suddenly singing the praises of ex-villain, Danielle Staub, including Real Housewives Of New Jersey’s very own Melissa Gorga. The season eight premiere set viewers up for some interesting dynamics to come, including Siggy Flicker being batsh*t cray-cray, the introduction of pigtail-bedecked Margaret Josephs (who actually seems kind of bada$$ and potentially awesome), and the return of Danielle. Melissa, for one, couldn’t be more delighted that she’s no longer the villain with this new setup!
But the first episode also replayed the sad loss of Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice’s beloved mother, Antonia, who passed away earlier this year. Melissa admits it was painful to watch it all back again. “Watching the memories of my mother-in-law and hearing her voice brought instant tears to my eyes. She was a wonderful woman, and her life was taken way too young. I never thought I would see the day that Joe broke down and couldn’t work or get out of bed. He was devastated and heartbroken for weeks and still is.”
Melissa is happy to have Danielle back on RHONJ, and seems excited to film a season with the larger than life former Housewife for the first time. She also thinks Danielle will surprise viewers, explaining, “I know there are a lot of preconceived thoughts about her. When I went to her party, it was the first time I had ever met her in person. I was pleasantly surprised, and I think you will be too. Don’t get me wrong — she beats to her own drum, but that’s what I love about her! She is interesting and intriguing, but I think she is very misread. You’ll see what I mean as the season goes on!”
What I’d personally like to see is Danielle running into Caroline Manzo at the Stop-n-Shop. Maybe a little taste of YOU WILL NEVER DESTROY MY FAMBILY! throwdown by the banana stand, perhaps? I’d certainly be here for it.
Next, Melissa talks Boca. While she loved spending her birthday with the ladies, she’s not sure she’d do it again. Probably because Siggy acted so very extra in that damn restaurant! Melissa was, however, grateful for her cake. “I will say I was very thankful that Siggy planned something for my birthday. It was very thoughtful of her, and I love how she took the time to make sure the cake represented me perfectly! It was absolutely gorgeous, and I thanked her. I had no idea Teresa was going to throw it in my face, but it was all in good fun.”

Siggy was not happy that the cake fight ensued, but Melissa claims it was just some harmless girls-gone-wild prankin’! She writes it off as “just a bunch of Jersey girls in Florida, drinking and having a little fun! We did get to eat the cake first and it was soooo good. The rest of Florida gets pretty intense, and you’ll have to watch the next episode to see how it all goes down.” Ooh, do tell! Here’s hoping Margaret squares off with Siggy immediately, showing “the most talented person in the world” how things really are.
Melissa’s store, Envy, is now in her sole proprietorship – a title she’s proud to own. She gushes, “Envy! It’s all mine — thank you, Jesus!!! My business partner and I parted ways. It was very unfortunate how it happened and I cried for three days straight when I woke up to an emptied out Envy. My heart was broken, and I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t believe that everything I worked so hard for was taken out from under me. Why take all my clothing to that awful woman’s store?”
“Joe literally had to pull me of the couch and tell me to get up, get to New York, and start buying new clothing for the store,” blogs Melissa. “So that’s what I did. There was not even a hanger or a roll of tape left in the store. I had to pull myself together and get it done. Well, I did it in three weeks, Envy and the online store was back up, and I was back in business. I worked my butt off every day to get it back quickly so I wouldn’t lose too many customers. Sometimes they say hardships are a blessing in disguise and I think this definitely was a case of that. Envy is like my fourth child, and no one messes with my children.”
Well, good on ya, Melissa. Now, time to plan the requisite RHONJ fashion show that will include some hair-yanking, a knee-capping, a bit of curb stomping – you know, the usual! (We’ll have the paramedics on standby.)

Attention! Attention! Major disclaimer for anyone who is about to watch Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. It is very evident that it was pre-taped and went down BEFORE the social media war with NeNe Leakes. Everything she had to say about NeNe was very loving and there’s no chance in hell that Kim could go from that brutal war of words to talking about how much she loves and respects NeNe in the same day.
Aside from the immediately outdated NeNe tidbits, Kim and Kroy had a lot to share about their family including whether or not they want to have more kids…even though they already have six.
A Watch What Happens Live episode with Kim would never be complete without Andy Cohen bringing up that Real Housewives Atlanta Season 1 photo to compare Kim’s nose to the original one that graced our TV screens back in the day. This time he switched things up a bit by showing the photo side by side with a throwback photo of Kim. He even admitted, “I have to say that your teenage nose looks like your current nose.” Kim couldn’t help saying, “If you show that picture one more time!” Andy insisted, “It’s a tradition!” Very true. I look forward to it every time.
Andy attempted to stir the pot by asking if Kim has ever met Kenya Moore’s husband Marc Daly. She calmly answered, “Has anybody? No.” The RHOA film crew can say the same…allegedly. Speaking of stirring the pot, Andy asked Kim to name the biggest pot stirrer on Season 10. Kim confessed, “I feel like it’s me this year.” She added, “I just feel like I call people out. I’m over it. Life is too short.” Thank you, Kim. No one needs a boring Real Housewives season. If only there was someone in Orange County to create some (interesting) story lines.
When discussing NeNe, Kim said, “I love her and I always will.” I wonder if she feels that way now. That Instagram argument was on another level. Speaking of OG cast members, Kim was asked if she would ever encourage Sheree Whitfield to get back together with Bob Whitfield. Kim said, “No. I know too much.” The viewers are in agreement with her on that one.
It got a little awkward when Andy asked both Kim and Kroy, “How are your relationships with your parents?” Kroy seemed nervous to answer the question which was truly endearing, but I wanted to leap through the screen and give him a hug. He just seemed so uncomfortable with the change in topic and the spotlight in general. He said, “They’re not bad. I focus on my family. I focus on Kim. I do what’s best for my wife and six children.”
Nevertheless, Andy pushed, “Is it like an Aaron Rodgers situation?” Kroy just left it at: “No. At this point I’m doing the best for my family.” Kim asserted, “Kroy chose Kroy. That’s it.”
Andy didn’t let Kim get off the hook though. She had to answer the question as well. She did manage to get out of sharing though. She teased, “I tried. You’ll see it all play out on Don’t Be Tardy Season 6.” That doesn’t sound like it went very well, but I guess we will see when the episodes air.
A viewer asked Kim, “Have you spoken to Phaedra [Parks] since everything went down on last year’s reunion?” Kim admitted, “I never really liked her” and then she brought up this throwback story line: “I remember she was the attorney for Kandi [Burruss] when they tried to sue me over “Don’t Be Tardy” and she didn’t even spell Kandi’s name right. So no, I haven’t.”
She brought the conversation back to the question at hand and admitted, “I think it’s gross. I think there’s a line that Kim, NeNe, and Sheree never cross. It’s just a line of respect. I feel like that just went way too far- something I can’t even fathom.” Of course that made me wonder if Kim would say the same thing given the recent Instagram war. It also made wish that the episode was recorded live so we could find out what is going on between the two of them in real time.
Switching gears, Kim admitted, “I have baby fever so bad.” She has six kids and a million pets. Clearly she’s into mothering, but she might have her hands full these days. Kroy wasn’t completely sold on the idea, but he did say, “At this point, but I’ll never say never.” Andy asked, “Did you not get snipped?” Kroy said, “You can go back.” That sounds like a lot to endure. If only he froze some sperm like Jim Edmonds did to conceive baby Aspen.
Then a caller really got down to business asking Kroy, “Are you still a free agent? Would you consider playing for a team outside of Atlanta? What do you currently do for work?” Kim admitted, “That’s a loaded question.” Once again, Kroy seemed genuinely nervous and I wanted to hug him. Still, he had no problem answering every question. He said, “Yes, I’m still a free agent. I haven’t official retired and signed my retirement paperwork, per say.”
Andy added, “Are you training a lot still?” Kroy said, “Yes,” and Kim revealed, “He just didn’t accept a couple offers.” Kroy continued to answer the viewer questions saying, “I would play outside of Atlanta if it’s the right deal.” Kim chimed in about his current career by saying Kroy is “Super dad. Super husband.” I can’t argue with that one. He really is such a family man. Nevertheless, Kroy admitted, “I’ve worked a lot in my career so right now I’m relaxing a little bit. I love investing. I love real estate.” Investing, real estate, and raising six children doesn’t sound like “relaxing” to me, but Kroy is a very humble guy. Kim jumped in and asked, “Relaxing? Are you kidding me?” Kroy explained, “Relaxing per say, compared to football.” Fair enough.
Andy asked Kim about the possibility of new music. Kim explained, “I always said I wanted to be a one hit wonder and I got it. Like massively got it.” Damn right she did. She got her own TV show named after her song. Kim continued, “I’m happy with just the one song. I can’t say that I won’t ever do it again, but I wanted to be a one hit wonder and definitely got it.” Please do it, Kim. I just want all of the Housewives to go on a concert tour together and film it for a reality show.
The next question was so timely and once again I couldn’t help wishing that the episode was live since Brielle Biermann’s Snap activity was at the center of the war between Kim and NeNe. A viewer wanted to know how they would feel if Brielle wanted to become a Real Housewife of Atlanta. Kim said, “I mean, I feel like she can handle it. She’s super of me. I feel like she can handle it.” Brielle is definitely getting some practice in these days. Or at the very least, she’s in a Housewife training phase.
Then shit got real weird…. Andy asked Kroy, “Does it turn you on that Kim went through a little bisexual moment?” Seriously? Even Kim told him, “Stop it.” Kroy reasoned, “That’s like asking your boyfriend if it turns you on that you had another boyfriend.” The conversation didn’t end though. Andy attempted to explain, “But if he was with someone of the other sex. It’s a specific.” Kroy then asked back, “Well, would that do something for you?” Andy said, “No, but I’m not a straight guy. I think straight guys fantasize about women and women together.” Oh boy. Kim said, “But she’s not a straight girl, so it’s not the same.” Thankfully ended the conversation and just left it at, “I don’t know.”
Then a caller asked Kroy, “What was your honest reaction when Kim said she wanted to go back to the Real Housewives and were you happy that she did it?” Kroy revealed, “I was a little bit hesitant, but when we talked about it and discussed what it brought and what she wanted to do, obviously I’m going to support her if she makes a decision. I’m here to back her and support her.” Husband of the year material right here. Not just this year, but pretty much every other. Kim really lucked out.
And she made another NeNe reference. After saying, “Sheree and I have been friends for fifteen years,” Kim remarked, “NeNe, Kim, and Sheree have had a major connection for fifteen years. There’s a lot of drama there.” That’s for sure. There could be a whole show just about these three. That’s actually not a bad idea. Andy, are you reading this?

NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann's feud has possibly reached its boiling point, a month before the season 10 premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe called her co-star...Why is Real Housewives of Orange County a medical drama all of a sudden? From suspicions about cancer diagnoses to vaginal rejuvenation to vasectomies to colonics, this season is just all about the medical procedures… and it is a total snooze fest. What happened to the good old days of whooping it up at the bar and throwing wine in someone’s face? Let’s get back to things like that. Please.
The fixation with Peggy Sulahian’s mastectomy is still very much a thing and the RHOC ladies- and men- are asking a lot of questions about it.
Meghan Edmonds shared her thoughts on the last episode in her Bravo blog. She admitted, “It was a little awkward seeing Lydia McLaughlin for the first time since our hike, but I’m glad that both Jimmy and I were able to go. I also felt bad about not calling to check in on Lydia after the Farmhouse dinner. It sucks to feel left out whether the intentions were pure or not (and in this case they were) and I hate that Lydia’s feelings were hurt.”
I don’t think Shannon Beador intended to make Lydia feel excluded, but why would she want to invite her if they fight every single time they see each other? Why would Lydia even want to go if Shannon was there? Oh right: for a story line. She probably had more fun hanging at home with her family, but the lack of invite to a casual dinner was the main topic of conversation during that last episode.
And then there’s the chatter about Peggy’s mastectomy and whether or not she has or had cancer. I was done with this story line before it even began. Meghan remarked, “It looks like David’s [Beador] conversation with Diko [Sulahian] about Peggy’s mastectomy went the same as our conversation with Peggy at Farmhouse. So confusing.” And boring. Just like the rest of this season.
Meghan insisted, “David wasn’t interrogating Diko about Peggy’s cancer – Diko was the one who brought it up!” She continued, “David was trying to communicate with Diko and follow the story but got confused like the rest of us. And then the end of Diko’s story was, ‘you freak out.’ What?? Everyone is just trying to understand the full story, but to no avail. But that doesn’t mean we’re not thankful that Peggy is healthy now. That truly is all that matters.” Is the cast questioning this from a place of a concern or a place of curiosity? Considering that they’ve known Peggy for all of five minutes, it’s most likely the latter.
And then Meghan addressed Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson getting colonics together…. in front of the cameras. Just like the rest of us, Meghan admitted, “Ew. I’m SO grossed out that Kelly and Vicki did colonics in front of each other…what the hell? Yuck yuck yuck! I get REALLY grossed out by bathroom stuff and after watching that, I’m so sorry that you had to watch me in the OR last season when I got pregnant with Aspen!”

Jeff Lewis may have dodged a bullet when he passed on Versailles, but business isn’t his problem. Nannies are. Remember the lovely and caring Gema, who Jeff was madly in love with just a moment ago? Yeah, well – now she sucks, apparently! This week’s Flipping Out finds Gage Edward and Jeff ready to fire Gema over a series of infractions, including messing with their nanny cam – which is definitely not okay with these super-addicted nanny cam dads. Nope. Nope. And Nope.
We begin at New Hollywood, where Jeff is berating Jenni Pulos for coming to work with a cold. It’s not a cold, says Jenni – it’s pregnancy congestion! But Jeff barely has the attention span to keep ragging on her because now he’s mad at Gema, who hasn’t been responding to baby Monroe in a timely fashion. Also, Gema feels like she’s going crazy working in this controlling environment, where Gage literally snaps his fingers at her if she moves too slowly, and where Monroe is still screaming her poor little head off (less so, but still…it’s maddening). On a scale of easiest to toughest babies from 1-10, Gema ranks Monroe at a solid ELEVEN. Zoila Chavez is even feeling rattled by Gema’s frustration, thinking the nanny might quit any day. And she’s ready to help make that happen.
Jeff and Jenni make a trip back to Valley Vista to check on the progress. As they walk around with a team of contractors (who are laughing at Jeff’s unreasonably long list of wishes), Jeff and Jenni review the 479 phases of VV in their heads. This project will be done in roughly a thousand years. But the initial clean up will only cost $2,500! So, there’s that.
At Long Beach, Jeff walks around his father, Tom’s, condo with Cuba, Tom’s handyman. But Cuba is not all that handy, it turns out, and has botched a myriad of details and rather large items in the condo. Since Tom is ready to flip this place NOW, this is not great news. Jeff wonders, Does Cuba have a drinking problem? Is he blind? Why are there holes punched through doors?
Cuba doesn’t seem to care, but Jeff does. Even more so when he hears that Tom wants to list the house in a week. “It’s not ready! You always rush, and I think it’s a mistake,” admonishes Jeff. Tom just does his best eye roll in response, but my guess is that he’ll listen to Jeff’s advice in the end. Especially when Jenni pulls a pizza box out of a random shelf, thus proving that this condo needs a serious once-over.
Back at the office, it’s time to obsess about nanny cams and property management. Jeanne Shaw is wife of Styx lead singer, Tommy Shaw, and an insanely fun client who screams right in Jeff’s face on the regular. Jeanne, we missed ya, girl! Jeff has missed her too – she’s one of his favorite clients, probably because she gives his sh*t right back to him. Jeff and Jeanne have recently decided to go into a co-owned flip together, but they need to find the right property. Jeanne agrees to fly in from Nashville to take a look at Jeff’s list, but she ain’t gonna babysit no screamin’ babies! Also, she has no problem actually sh*tting in open houses, and reminds Jeff that she’ll be doing just that at around 2pm on the day of their tour.
The next day in the car, Jeff tells Jenni that Gema wants to discuss her schedule – and a raise. He’s not okay with either of these topics. But Gema claims she pulled a muscle in her back while picking up Monroe (who weighs all of 15 lbs), and that taking care of Monroe is making her FAT! Yip. She’s got a long list of crazy complaints, this one. Jeff bitterly laughs about how Gema has done such a 180 since she started, knowing the end of her employment with them is nigh.
While planning the staging of Tom’s condo, Jeff sees a lot of the work he dictated has not gotten done. Tom seems unfazed by Cuba’s shoddy work, so Jeff inserts a new own contractor, Paul, into the mix to get this place turned around. With Paul on the job, this place might actually sell, hopes Jeff.
Gage, Jenni, and Jeff meet Jeanne out for lunch later to discuss the property hunt. Jeff breaks the ice by berating Jeanne about her purchase of some bungalow in Nashville. Jeanne doesn’t give a flying f**k. She’ll decide what crappy bungalows she wants to buy, and take 2 o’clock sh*ts where she pleases, thank you very much! Jeff loves this little spitfire, practically salivating at her potty mouth. Jeff and Jeanne are a match made in the stars. They will be perfect business partners, thinks Jenni.
Jeff drives Jeanne around Hollywood, noting several properties he’s got his eye on. The neighborhood is starting to price people out, so they need to move fast. One of the hill properties they tour might be the winner – the views alone are worth it! – but the place is in escrow right now. Somehow, Jeff imagines the deal might fall through – so they’ll need to be ready to jump. Jeanne loves the house, but agrees to see more.
At home, Gage is feeding Monroe while Zoila checks in on them. Monroe is just a darling little cutie (this child is seriously beautiful!) while Gage successfully puts her down for a nap. It’s one good parenting scene, people, so even though it’s short and sweet – we’ll take it! So will Gage, I imagine, who looks bone-tired.
After a few hits and many misses, Jeanne, Jeff, and Jenni visit Hidden Valley – a property in need of major updating, but maybe not a total gut job. “It’s an easy redo,” thinks Jeff, who wants to expand his empire. Hidden Valley is much less sleek than some of the other properties, but will definitely appeal to a family buyer. That’s who’s moving into this neighborhood, after all, and Jeff knows this is a key factor to remember. Jeanne agrees.
Before ending their tour, the group stops by Valley Vista to give Jeanne a look around. She’s not a fan of the thousand steps that lead up to the house, but she sees potential. She’s also not a fan of the brass fixtures that Jeff has installed everywhere. Jeff agrees that yeah, it’s probably a passing fad – but it’s “in” right now. And right now is all he needs to worry about, because this dude never owns a house long enough for it to go out of style. Ever.
Later that week, Jeff checks in on his dad’s condo. Contractor Paul has not come through. Faucets are backwards, fixtures are missing. In fact, on the lengthy list of to-do’s, only three items have been completed. Jeff knows his dad is busy managing the eleven buildings he owns, but if he wants to sell this condo ASAP, he’s gonna need to crack some contractor skulls.
But Tom just doesn’t seem willing to micromanage on that level. Hmm. Perhaps that’s why he brought Jeff in as his secret weapon? It may also be why he married a “very strong, powerful woman” who will probably come in here and whip this project into shape herself, thinks Jeff. Strangely, Tom doesn’t seem capable of it.
In the car sometime later, Gage checks in on the nanny cam from his phone. Gema has been serving up major attitude (according to Gage) and blocking the camera on purpose (again, according to Gage). So, um, things are not improving. When they arrive back home, Gage even pumps Zoila for information on Gema. What’s she doing? Is she working? Is she f**king with our CAMERA?!? Zoila agrees that Gema is definitely a problem, and is probably blocking the camera on purpose. But we all know that Zoila may be sabotaging the situation, as she’s wont to do. She looooooves her some drama, after all. And she has not-so-quietly hated Gage ever since he appeared on the scene.
Oddly, Jeff doesn’t want to make the rash decision to fire Gema immediately, mostly because they don’t have another nanny in place yet. Gage’s ultimate wish is to just be a stay at home dad until Monroe is older, but he thinks Jeff wouldn’t like it. Hold on here – didn’t Jeff just say the other week that he’d be cool with the idea of Gage staying home? And that it would be better if Gage wasn’t torn between both worlds? This, in my opinion, definitely needs to happen.
But it will never happen if they don’t talk about it honestly. And these guys don’t necessarily specialize in open and clear communication. They might be forced to discuss it soon, though, because later on Jeff actually SEES Gema blocking the camera (from his phone) and finally agrees she’s gotta go. Goodbye, Nanny Number Seven! Or is it eight? In any case, she’s just another ex-nanny now. And, thus, the beat goes on.
But wait! The day after Gema is fired, she sends Jeff an interesting text. Gema apologizes for her behavior, but says she was just acting under Zoila’s orders! She claims that Zoila has been trying to undermine Gage for months, even telling Gema that “he’s not Monroe’s father” so don’t pay attention to him. Gema confesses she went along with Zoila’s plan, but never felt comfortable about it, and wanted Jeff and Gage to know what really went on. Oh. My. God. Jeff doesn’t know what to think as he just stares at Zoila coming down the stairs toward him. Is there truth to these claims? Is Zoila behind it all? Was she playing both sides to get Gema out for good? We’ll have to wait until next week to find out.

Another contestant bit the dust this week on Episode 2 of Survivor, in another unanimous vote. As another contestant mentioned this week, “Strong isn’t always what you need,” but ultimately the tribe went with strength over loyalty when they trimmed their tribe by one.

The game was cut short for Simone Nguyen, the 25-year-old Diversity Advocate from Massachusetts. Placed on the Hustlers tribe, we barely saw or heard from her at all during the season’s Premiere Episode, but we got some time with her during Episode 2. Simone appeared to be a soft-spoken and intelligent player, but one that just wasn’t cut out for the game of Survivor. She was shown swatting away bugs, and mentioned over and over that she had never even been camping a day in her life. Still, she was determined to break-out of her comfort zone, and even as her teammate Ali told her, it was clear that she was really trying to put herself out there, like when she volunteered and successfully gutted a fish.
But Simone was the weakest link at challenges and also the easy target this week. It came down to getting rid of her, or the eccentric clown Patrick, but ultimately Ali and the others decided to keep Patrick around, sending Simone out of the game just six days in.
I had the chance to speak to Simone on the FilmSurvivor Podcast (the full audio of which you can find and download at the bottom of this article). But here were some highlights:
SIMONE NGUYEN INTERVIEW:
On the relationship between Ali and Patrick and why Ali may have chose to vote Simone out instead:
Simone Nguyen: So Patrick and Ali were neighbors from college, like, they weren’t best friends or anything like that, but I think it’s a lot easier to trust somebody that you’ve known for six years versus six days…but they knew each other. And I think that small grain of trust was enough.
On the budding bro-mance between Ryan and Devon:
Simone: It was not secret. Ryan was so loved by every single person on this tribe. Even me, like, I wasn’t trying to be charmed by him, but even I found him funny…this little guy was just charming the heck out of us…I told myself, this person is a threat…I was thinking Ryan was the biggest social threat.
On who she thinks has the worst chance of winning the game of her fellow Hustler Tribe mates:
Simone: I’d say Lauren, but not for the reasons you think. It’s not because she’s an outsider. It takes so long to earn her trust and when you earn her trust, like, you have it forever. So because of that, I don’t think she’d be able to see a betrayal coming. Lauren is like an old-school player and would stay loyal to you given anything, and I think Ali, Ali is more cutthroat and would do anything she needed to do to win.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 trailer was lit. Just when I thought I couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming the season, it turns out that they’re still filming and there’s some SERIOUS drama going down. It was all good between OG cast members NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak up until very recently when shit really hit the fan.
The two of them are going to war on social media, so I can’t even imagine hard they are coming for each other during feeling. Kim’s daughter Brielle Biermann is also at the center of controversy thanks to a video she shot from NeNe’s bathroom with a guest appearance from some roaches. NeNe is accusing the mother daughter duo of being racist. It’s getting very ugly and I’m just thankful I took screen shots immediately because I cannot believe these posts are still up. Isn’t this revealing a little too much of the story line? Oh well, let’s dive into the drama.
NeNe raised some eyebrows when she posted a selfie on her way home from the cast trip to Spain and the hype wasn’t about the photo. It was all about the shady captions and hash tags. NeNe wrote, “On the way back to the A, I fell asleep thinking about how imma live in my ROACH infested brand new home ” along with these colorful hash tags: “#jealousprejudicebitch #disgusting #howlowwillyougo #ohithoughtyoudidntseeme #pottymouthtrashychildren #learnedbehavior #donteverspeaktome #thisiswhyiwouldntdoashowwithyou #youwillneverwinthis #blackpeopleneedtostopsupportingtheprejudice.”
Most of these hash tags could have applied to a lot of people in the cast, but the one that says “this is why I wouldn’t do a show with you” VERY strongly alluded to a beef with Kim. If you recall, they had a Kim and NeNe show in the works a couple years ago that just never came to fruition with no real explanation. Even though, the besties turned enemies turned frienemies (a million times over) seemed to be on good terms for a long time. Obviously that’s not the case these days.
NeNe was done alluding to animosity and just came right out and tagged Brielle in an Instagram post that included the immediately infamous video of Brielle on the ground looking into a mirror in NeNe’s bathroom until the camera zoomed in on some roaches. NeNe tore into Brielle in the caption and she started it out with a mention just to be sure that Brielle would get a notification.
NeNe wrote, “@briellebiermann We don’t have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta yo funky pussy! Please know I will get You all the way together when you start f***ing wit me and mine! Go somewhere and let the air outta those fake lips, fake titties and fake ass because you will never be @kylejenner Yo trashy mama should have taught you better! My home is Brand New but you guys were so jealous of it, you couldn’t even give a compliment. You had to stoop so low and be so disgusting #racisttrash #jealous #KKK#thirsty you better run yo ass back to a child’s place #youwannaactgrown?”
Holy shit. I wish I had something more articulate to say in response, but that was my initial reaction. NeNe really went hard. She called out Brielle for the cosmetic procedures, racism, jealousy, trying to be Kylie, and she even accused her of bringing roaches into NeNe’s house just to record that video and make NeNe look bad.
Mama Kim wasn’t going to let that shit slide. She posted a conversation with a contact she has named as “housewife” with a yellow heart emoji about whether or not she should share the roach video. Not only that, but Kim paired that pic with a very lengthy caption: “First off that video is a combination of 2 videos! I COMBINED THEM! Brielle posted the first video on snap unaware of the large bug in front of her when she was kneeling down .. until her DM’s blew up! She removed the video immediately!! I was filming as an INVITED guest at @neneleakes for RHOA!! Brielle was invited as well! Brielle went to the bathroom and saw several bugs and had sent ME the video on snap and NO ONE ELSE!!! We ARE filming a show, remember that, (RHOA) and Nene released this video herself! No one has EVER seen this video but RHOA! Nobody would have ever seen this video! Nene has said and done some things that are absolutely disgusting, however I will take the high road as you will see it on the show soon enough, but you WILL NOT make it seem as though my daughter did ANYTHING wrong! She never posted this video nor would she! As you see here I myself was not willing to send the video just for ratings for RHOA. END OF STORY.” Nobody would have ever seen this video? Really, Kim? As if this wasn’t going to be a major story line no matter what.
The back and forth continued. NeNe posted two different screen shots accusing Kim of lies, racism, and glass breaking among other things. She also asserts that the rest of the cast can confirm her side of the story.
I’m still a little lost about the jump from bugs in the bathroom to racism, but I guess I’ll have to wait for Season 10 to return before I get all of my questions answered.
